[Music] Hello gorgeous people of the power of luxury salon. We are here for a final piece of the puzzle which I honestly believe is the whole purpose this whole transmission came through for me was to get to the evolution of all the thoughts and to get to here where I am right now. And it's kind of come together all the way up until the last second of this call, which is also just so perfect.
So, first of all, I'm going to just take a a moment. I'm going to change my gallery so that I can see all of you guys. Whoa, so many people on camera. This is awesome. Thank you for being here live. I'm so grateful. Whoa, two pages full. Two and a half pages full of people on camera. That's awesome. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for being here with babies. M with your baby. Ah, this is so wonderful. Hi. Hi. Hi, everyone. Oh, this is great.
Okay. So, we are going to have one of those like woman to woman conversations. Um, that I can already tell it's going to make me very emotional, but those usually just mean that they're for me, for you, for us, which I think are the best ones. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.
So, the first thing I really want you to hear, I wasn't crying, but I'm gonna can tell right now. But it's okay. When I cry, um, it I just I have two cho I'll tell you this quick story first. Actually, I think this is important for those of you who are here and don't profoundly know me. I gave up a long time trying to control my tears because I realized the only reason I felt bad for them is because I didn't want to I didn't want people to feel sad. But then I thought that's kind of weird because I feel sad. So if I feel sad and I don't want people to feel sad, then why am I speaking to these people? If I don't want them to feel what I'm feeling, then I that means I don't think they care about me. So then why do I even why am I even talking to them? So, I realized a long time ago that if I wasn't willing to cry in front of you, then that said a lot about how I actually feel about you. And so, now I cry.
Um, I remember on my brother's wedding, he was very, very stressed about his wedding vows. And I was like, why are you stressed? He'd been with his fiance for like 10 years. I'm like, why are you so stressed? Like, you're going you're going to do so good. And he's like, to be honest, I'm I'm stressed about crying. And I said, "Why?" And he said, "Because I don't cry like you. I I cry ugly." And I said, "You know what the difference is between crying the way I cry and crying the way you call would call ugly?" He said, "What?" I said, "I don't try not to not cry. Like, I don't try to stop the tears." I said, "The ugly only happens when you try to constrict your face to stop the tears from crying. And he was like, "You think so?" I said, "I know." So, when you don't want to cry, you do all kinds of weird things to your face to try to make the tears stop. It's like, I said, "But if you just actually let it go entirely and were willing to just let the tears flow, it wouldn't change your face at all." And he was like, "Okay." Hey. And he like went on his wedding day and his eyes leaked through the vows, but he didn't scrunch his face. And he was like, "Thank you so much for that because I for sure would have done it. I for sure would have done the face scrunch thing."
And so, um, I just I let the tears flow. I I let the tears flow because they're the truth. I let the tears flow because if I try to stop them, it means I believe that you don't care. And if I believe that you don't care, then there's no way I'm going to be able to say what I'm going to say on this call. So, there we go. All right.
So, we're talking about luxury in this master class on a whole other level. We're going into the depth of luxury because my work has been very misunderstood over the course of my career. It has also been very understood by the by the people who are in alignment with me. But gosh, so often I wish I could just sit with every person who was getting me wrong and say, I think if you really listened to me differently, you'd hear something different. Like just wait a second before you make a judgment. Listen to what I'm saying. People really did see the superficiality in what I was trying to say, but they wouldn't see everything else. And the fact is, in order for me to have built what I have built, it's impossible to do this in the way that I've done it unless there's a very strong truth resonance. What this means is that so many people get it. And they really get it. And they get it without me needing to overexplain. And they need it. They get it without me to need to push or to to to tell them that if they don't get it, something bad's going to happen. Like they they got it because they were on the same frequency of it. So all I needed to do is continue to hold the frequency I was on and eventually if I kept talking people would be like I am getting this. I am on the frequency of this. I am getting this.
But on a different frequency what people saw was the superficial. What people saw was the pretty pictures. What people saw was the curated visuals. What people saw was the even the use of the word luxury in what I was doing. And that made them decide whether or not I was superficial or deep or good. And that was that. But it was never bad enough to make it that the people on the right frequency couldn't find me. And so I was always very much okay with the duality because it felt like if that's the price to pay, if the price to pay for having the perfect people is that you're misunderstood by the other half of the world, that's kind of a good price really when you think about it.
So, I've really contemplated whether this a master class like this was supposed to happen um meant to happen for the longest time before I allowed myself to start opening up because when I do master classes, they are bridges. So, to give you an idea of how my work works, anytime there's a master class, it's because there's a body of work that I've been creating that is very big and I am about to pivot everyone in a direction. And everyone that's in a client of mine or considering being a client of mine, my people that read my social media, people who stay connected to me, I'm about to pivot. And so the master class is necessary because the master class is the bridge between what's kind of going on and where I'm taking people. And so there are the people who take the master classes and don't go anywhere further. They just kind of go on the bridge and go, "Oh, that was a really great conversation." And then they're there with the bridge. And there are the people who understand the energetics of the bridge and say, "Whoa, I understand where this is leading and this is where I want to go in my life."
And so I had contemplated whether or not to even create a luxury masterclass bridge. I wondered if there was even a point because it felt so clear that people who get this frequency get it and those who don't don't that it felt almost pointless to do a master class because it felt like what's it going to do? The people who are already getting it don't need the master class and the people who don't get it won't get the master class but I just kept getting the feeling you've got to do the master class got to do the master class and so when I get intuitions I trust them I couldn't have gotten here without it plus I am holding a very sacred container that's now been alive for like 5 months that has been the most insane catalyst for my transparency and my and my trusting of my intuition of anything I've ever done before called the experiment. And so I I was just not going to go against my intuition again. I knew what I wanted to put in the master class. I knew what would make sense as a bridge. What I didn't expect is what was going to happen between the master class and now.
And so the first thing I want to share with you is that this work is very alive for me. So I'm constantly in creation mode. I I don't regurgitate this work because it's something that I'm I already have and I'm trying to find new ways of saying it. I believe people can buy old transmissions of me if they want to do that. Anything I put out there that's new is because it is what I am currently working on in the moment that is working. It is the thing that I'm doing right now that is extraordinary. It's the thing that I'm working It's the thing I'm doing that's consuming my thoughts, my minds, and my feelings. It's my real life. It's it's real life in the moment, real thoughts, real downloads, real things that are happening all the time. And that is both extremely exciting because it means that as you're plugging into my life or my my mentorship, you're really participating in something that is alive right now. You're participating in something that is actively occurring. It's not just like, oh, you know, let me just teach you something I already know and a different thing. It's like there is something else that's coming forward through this.
But it can also be upsetting for some people because it's like, well, that means if I miss it, I miss it. Like if I don't get to come to this, I'll never get this version of you ever again. Um, and I've tried to pacify that feeling in people a lot because they don't like it. When they don't like it, they they call it things. But I I'll tell you what I call it. I call it life. So what you ultimately have is an opportunity to be with me in this season of my life in a way that is passing and that will never be the same ever again. Isn't that what everyone has with you as well? This moment in your life as you are to be your friend, to be your partner, to be your child, to be your client, to be whatever it is. Like, isn't now this version of you now, the only chance someone would have to have you now is if they seized you now? If they thought, "I'll seize you later." Well, that doesn't really exist. If they if they said, "Well, if you're still there when I want you, I'll let you know." That's not really a relationship.
So the the power of luxury is actually something that I missed for a very long time. A little just a tiny little shift that changes things which is that it is temporary. It is seasonal. It is now. But it's also timeless. and classic. So what does that mean? Only when I started actually understanding luxury like once I really understood it did I understand the concept that if you like something you can't get another one later if you like it. So let's say I have this like Zara dress that I like and it's a classic. I love it and I wear it so much and I it it runs out and it's their star thing and everybody loves it. Everybody wants it. Um I'll go back next month and they'll probably be able to get it for me. They'll they will have a lot of the things in their store that's like it's their best seller so they always have it. If I like something, let's say at Louis Vuitton, I like a a dress or something. If I go back next month and I say, "You know, you had a dress and last month," they'll say, "Oh, yeah, we don't have that anymore." And I say, "Well, can I have it ordered?" And they say, "No." And I say, "Can I have it made?" And they say, "No. I can't just buy it."
And that's something that people don't that don't understand the frequency of luxury who only understand luxury as money. They're not prepared for when they become abundant on the frequency of luxury. Because at first, the thing you want, you think you only can't have it because you don't have the money. But eventually, there's all kinds of reasons you miss out on having the thing that you want. You miss out because of timing. You didn't buy it on time and they all sold out. Or you miss out because of there just aren't a hundred made. There's only one or two. And so even though you could afford it, if you weren't the first to buy it, there are none left. It's exclusive. You may not be able to buy it even though you have the money for it because they're so rare that they're going to offer them to their best clients first. The people who really love the brand will have a chance of seeing them first. And only if those people don't buy it first, then you might have a chance of buying it. Those are things I didn't know happened.
This is so important and it's such an important piece of what people miss when it comes to luxury because everybody puts luxury and money together. Like we talked about luxury and money, but luxury and money, although they go together, are not just one equals the other. There is something to be said about in a hotel room with, you know, 500 rooms, there's one suite. If that one's booked tonight, even if you have the money to pay for it, even if the hotel is almost entirely empty, if that one is booked, you can't have it. So, you have to value things in a different way once you start understanding the frequency of luxury because you don't it's not just is it worth the money like the way people think about is it worth the money before. Is it worth the money to have this hotel room? Is it worth the money to invest in this house right now or this coaching or this mentorship? Is it worth the money? It's like there's a timing in my life that is here right now. And my awareness of that timing is a luxury because most people are walking through their lives feeling like it's now or next year. It's a race towards something, but it's not the experience of now. It's trying to have something by now, but not necessarily the way you live now. It's wishing you were at a certain place by now, but not contemplating where you actually are and thinking about what the best you can do with where you are now.
And I'm seeing some of you already having thoughts about what this can mean for you. The luxury of your kids being small. The luxury of the beginning of a relationship with the butterflies. The luxury of the honeymoon phase. The luxury of being just excited about your business. The luxury about the luxury of the moment. The luxury of this particular energy, the luxury of this particular beauty. But when people don't understand luxury, they see money and they see timing and it's like, I'll buy this later. I'll buy if I still want it later, I'll buy it. That's like if you're single and this person says to you, I have the money to go out on a date or or I'd want to take you out on a date, but I'm just kind of saving my money this week. I like to have a good budget. You know, I know I just met you yesterday and you're, you know, you'd probably be worth sweeping off your feet, but I really don't believe anybody's going to fall in love with you between now and next week. And um I'd really love to budget my money. So, what I'll do is next week when I can afford to take you out for coffee, when it's more convenient with my budget, I'll hit you up and I'll take you for coffee next week. It's not It's not just about the money. In this moment, it's about the luxury of the moment. It's about do you value me? Do you value this potential relationship? Do you value the uniqueness and the magic that this might be? Or do you Because it kind of says a lot, doesn't it? When someone's willing to wait, it's like it'll be the same. You'll still be available. It means the real care isn't there.
And so we talked about it in this master class. I said something and this is one of the things I received the most feedback about. It's a luxury to be loved by me. Everyone deserves to be loved, but it's a luxury to be loved by me. What does this mean? You can be loved by anybody. You could be loved by whoever loves you. That's none of my business. But if you're going to be loved by me, that's a luxury. Same thing for you. You can say to me, Melanie, the whole world, you deserve love. You deserve you deserve so many people to love you. But for me to love you, Melanie. Now, that's a luxury. If you're to be ever loved by me, it's a luxury.
Now, we don't we don't look at people the same way when we imagine we deserve everything. We don't look at money the same way when we believe we deserve everything. We don't look at luxury the same way when we believe we deserve everything. We stop seeing the nuance, the beauty, the magic, the art, the meaning, all the things that I actually believe are the things that matter the most on this planet. We eradicate all of those and we boil it down to this black and white deserving or undeserving. If you don't love me, it's cuz you I deserve better than you. There is no intimacy.
And what I've started seeing more and more cuz I've been doing this work you guys for like 12 years. And when I say I'm doing this work, what I really mean is I've been living this work for 12 years. And I've watched so many iterations of what the internet does, of what people do, how people pivot, because trends go by fast. When you really pay attention to a trend, it's like as long the minute people realize it's a trend, they want to change it. So a trend only lasts as long as it's a as it's a trend. There's the avant-garde where most people don't understand it. There's the moment where so many people love it and they don't understand why. And then there's the understanding of it and the fact that it's a trend and then so many people jump on it that it becomes passé, last season, overdone, already over it. And that's where the new avant-garde idea will come in. And I've seen so many trends and honestly they've been a lot a lot of the trends have been to me we've had that trend before. I've seen the trends of like people, you know, bashing each other. The trends of, you know, people marketing completely against what someone else is doing. I've seen, but it's like that just feels like it's already been done before. That's there's a new thing that started happening and I realized we've been in this direction for a very long time and I and I didn't see it. I missed it or I didn't understand it and I'm understanding it now and I'm realizing that I it is probably like my greatest job in this world right now to make sure that as many people are willing to walk with me in this lifetime. Do not do this. This is the most dangerous trend for women I have ever seen in all of my life. And it is the trend of wanting to be admired instead of actually wanting to be loved.
Because when you want to be loved and you understand how important it is to be loved, you understand that it's a luxury. You do not take it for granted when people love you. And you also understand that it is absolutely completely not okay. You know this in all of your body. It is completely not okay to want someone to love you if you do not love them back. You know that from the top of your head to the tip of your toes. I want you to love me. If I don't love you back, that is every kind of wrong there could ever be. But I want you to admire me when I don't admire you back. Somehow, we don't notice we're doing that. And I'm seeing women do that. And worse yet, I see them do that and call it love. And I don't even know if they realize it, but they've replaced intimacy with accolades. It's stopped being I'm celebrating with you because I genuinely care about this thing in my life and you're the person I want to celebrate with. And it's become I want to celebrate with you because if you admire me you might love me or you if you admire me then I might get something from you or if you admire me then I'll get likes or shares or a influencer deal or you might buy my thing. We're weaponizing the most important currencies in the entire world. And the only way we can do them is to become so far removed from them that we don't feel that it's wrong. And so less and less real emotional connection is happening. And people are winning quote unquote by doing the wrong things. It's like it's not the real thing. It's not real luxury. It's manufactured. It's copied. It's not in the right frequency. Because the real frequency of luxury is deeply rooted in art. It's deeply rooted in vulnerability. It's deeply rooted in risk and care, but replicas, they just piggyback off what works. And sometimes you can't tell the difference.
I remember when I used to do this work, how it used to feel. Every single client I worked with, I felt loved. I didn't ever care about being admired ever. That was never why I did this work. Never. I got on those phone calls every time. Like the person I was speaking to was the only person in the world. And I realize now that those people working with me back then, it was a luxury for them to work with Melanie and Leer in the making back then. It was a luxury for me to be seen without trying to be taken from, to be loved and not just want to be copied, to be listened to not for what's a gem that can be taken and replicated, but to actually be seen as a as a person the whole way through. I charged $100 Canadian for those calls. I got on the phone with people. I listened with all of my heart and we did incredible things together. The most incredible things. And it was the clients my the actual clients I worked with that told me, "You have to raise your prices." Like literally, you just have to because it doesn't make sense what you're charging for the amount of transformation.
I remember I had this one client, Bob. I char he's he at that point I was charging $2,500 a month. $2,500 for one-on-one coaching. And um we got off a call one day after he messaged me. He was very um in your face New Yorker and he uh he basically said to me, I you you need to co coach, you need to coach me or else I'm going to lose millions of dollars or something like that. Like he was very dramatic. And so I got on the phone with him. I said to him what I had to say and then on the phone he said to me, "You really need to raise your prices because I don't think you know, you know, something." And I just took it, "Thanks, Bob." And he was like, "No, I'm serious." And I was like, "Thanks, Bob." And um he texted me later on in the day and he said, "I made something like the number that I want to remember is like $1.4 million." Like I made $1.4 $4 million today and you made $625 from that coaching call. Doesn't that piss you off? And I was like, well, it does now. Say it like that. I remember thinking to myself, why wouldn't I charge more? And I thought, it's because I'm afraid that people wouldn't believe that that kind of transformation is available. But the truth is, some people are hiring me and they're making millions of dollars. I'm charging 625. Like, should should I charge more? But it was like, but people don't know me. Like, could I have talked to anybody the way I just spoke to Bob and said what I just said to Bob? Or does Bob need to trust me fully? Does Bob need to be like, if I speak to Bob, if I speak to Melanie, my deal will go through? Does he need to have that kind of belief in our conversations in order for it to work? And so I was like, I don't think it works because I think it only works for people who know me. They would have to know me. And so I started creating different offers where it was like, well, the longer you spend time with me, the more you the the more I will matter to you. That's how this will work. And so I created different offers. The offer where people come in and have no idea who I am, who is this woman? The offer where people say, "Oh, okay." the offer where people say, "I choose you." And then the offer where people say, "I would never not choose you." You know, like I I stacked the offers. I created these opportunities for people to work with me.
What I never expected people to do is find a way to weaponize that somehow and to be like, "So the only way to work with you really close is to pay you tons of money. So basically, you only care about us if we pay you a lot. And I couldn't explain why that felt wrong, but it did. Whenever someone said that to me, my feeling about them felt like fear around them. Like I didn't feel right with them. From that moment, it was like that's such a weird assessment to make. How can someone how does someone get to that? I couldn't understand it. And it made me feel very off. But I realized something. What that means is that people think they can pay to matter. And I did not understand that until much later on my journey. There is a difference between paying because it matters and paying to matter. And the difference energetically when it comes to luxury is the difference between being an art collector and trying to have status. You can feel it right away. The fashion person who's obsessed with every piece, who knows what the material is made of, who knows who the designer is, who knows which collection it was from, who knows what it was inspired by, versus the person who knows there was only one, they were the only one that had it, and they wear it on all their posts for everyone to see or show up at the party for everyone to see, to show off the new bag so that other people can see it. One is for status. One is because it matters. The other one is to prove something, to show something.
And I I I'm going to be like so transparent with you in this moment. I need a little little sip of water. As a multi-millionaire, I don't think I've ever felt so cheap in my entire life than when a woman I cared about expected that she could pay me for intimacy. Because that is the deepest most sacred thing. You don't pay for intimacy. You pay for proximity. You pay for access. You pay for information. You pay for one-on-one support. You pay for you pay for so many things, but you do not pay for intimacy. And I can tell you that right now women are accepting to be paid for what they say is intimacy, but it's not because you cannot pay for intimacy. Even when people pay for sex, they don't pay for intimacy. Or worse, and this is the worst thing, people are literally thinking that they can sell intimacy, which is like this is going to be if we could sell intimacy, it would be the end of womanhood. I think it would just be the end of us and our superpowers. The minute you start paying someone to care for you, like you just can't do that. You can you can you can pay someone to admire you or you can pay you can have someone pay you because they admire you. You can have someone pay you because they value you. They value what you're saying. You you can have someone pay you because you take care of them like a caregiver. You care you someone who's taking care of you end of life like palliative care or like you can you can pay someone you can pay someone to take care of you. You can but you cannot pay someone to love you. And the sheer thought that we could is the most dangerous thought.
And I've seen how it happens when I'm in close pro. I care about people in a way that I think is probably for a greater purpose. One that I will figure out the benefits of later in my life. Because up until this point, I've greatly questioned why. Often I've wondered why I care this much. Because I've seen people succeed far more with less caring. I've never seen I've never I don't know why and I can't turn it off. I've tried. But with this level of care, it's not like I love everybody the same. I have a care for humanity. I have a deep love for people. And then there are people in my life that have become like the most important people to me. I have clients that I've been working with for like seven years. Like they mean the world to me. And they'll mean the world to me whether they keep working with me or not because I've been working with them for seven years. But people want to pay me for me to care about them the way I care about those people. And if they can't get if they don't feel that I care about them as much in the exact same period of time, then they'll they'll decide that whatever it is that I do isn't worth it. And what I've seen in this is that they're waiting for me to care about them as much as they think I care about other people before they ever care about me at all. Only if they know for sure they're going to be as important, as seen as this, as this, as this, as everybody else. Only then would they really care about it. But they've got one foot out waiting for that moment to happen. And if it doesn't, they feel so entitled to create pain. It's kind of unbelievable. And this is a pattern I've not just witnessed with myself. This is a pattern I've helped so many of my clients walk through with some of their clients. All women, always women.
And so it's like what's the where are the wires getting crossed? And here's where the wires are getting crossed. You caring about people is not the thing you're selling. But if you don't care about people, the thing you're selling probably won't sell the same way. The line in what I just told you is so finite, so thin that you could very easily get the lines crossed. So if not if caring about if you've got to care about people in order to buy for them to buy then care then they'll buy. It's not what I said. It's so easy to try to just listen to what I'm saying and try to just make it work. That's not what I'm here to do. There is no way to manipulate the things I say and succeed. Really, not in what I believe success is supposed to feel like.
What we're really aiming for here is to feel like we are so important on this planet, but not because we deserve to be important. Like it's something everyone should mirror back to us and show us and choose us or else we're not deserving and something's wrong with us. We're so important because we're the only one. It's like that doesn't get to be challenged or tested or proven. It's like I matter. And in knowing that there are different ways that I operate within my life. Ways that are in energetic alignment with my deserving, which means I deserve to be here already. So what do I want to do with that? And ways that are an energetic match with my becoming, which are if I deserve to be here, which is why I'm here in the first place, and I feel all these things that I want to do and I want to create and I want to do, then let me go do it. We do all these things to make sure that the feelings that we feel are telling us it's safe. You want to do big things and you're more important than everybody else. You want to do big things and you're smarter than everybody else. So, you can do it. You're more important than everybody else. You're smarter than everybody else. You're better than everybody else. That's what people want. That's not deserving. That's not belonging. Belonging is we're the same. People say they want to belong. What they really want is to be better than everybody else in a room where people enjoy it that they're better than everybody else. Because belonging means being almost invisible a lot of the times. If there's three of us and we all belong, no one's standing out. But if I'm spending all my time with the three of us wondering why I don't stand out more, then am I trying to belong? Or am I trying to be better than everybody in the room? And when I say I don't belong here, do I really mean I don't belong here, or do I mean I don't feel like the most important person in the room here? Most of the time, people walk away from rooms not realizing how much they're missed after they're gone because they thought belonging meant everyone notices them when they're there. But belonging means I feel safe with you. It's right that you're here. I don't need to be anything different. I know that you love me. I know that you are here with me. I know that I belong here. That's what belonging feels like.
So, is the thing that you're really craving belonging? Or is the thing that you're really craving standing out? And I need to tell you how important it is for you to know the difference between those two things because you will realize all the places that you're not the same as everyone else and that you might be different. And you might imagine that everyone else feels like they're all the same as everyone else. Like everyone else is the same but you're different. Notice how many people think that. How is it possible for us all to be different than everybody else if everyone else also feels it? Wouldn't that just mean that we're all different? But the things that we're grouping together, we're saying those people are all the same because of this one characteristic uh that I don't have. And then other people will look at the same group and say those people are all the same except of this one characteristic that I don't have. So do we use not belonging as a weapon to make it other people's fault that we don't let ourselves just be with other people?
This is the number one question people ask me when coming into my spaces. How many people are going to be in the room? How many people are in the mastermind? How many people are in the program? And if the numbers too big, they say, "Oh, that's more people than I would have hoped for." And I always wonder why? Because these people are constantly trying to be seen by more people, want to be connected to more people. So why would it be that the more people in a group program there is, the more they don't want to do it and then I got it. They only want to be seen as the leader. And the more people there are in the room, the chances of them being seen get smaller. That means they don't want to be seen at all. They don't want to be seen. They want to be seen as a leader. And there is a difference between being seen and being seen as a as a leader. Being seen means more people will get to know me. I will get to know more people. There are more chances of finding people that I love in a bigger group. The other one is how will I stand out? How will they notice me? If there's so many people, will I ever have a chance for them to see me as a leader?
This women's work that we're doing is very quickly becoming non-luxurious. It's becoming a competition. And I will tell you right now, there is no competition in real luxury. This is why when you walk down the street where all the all the luxury stores are, they're right next to each other. They'll tell you it's a very bad idea to put a McDonald's and a Burger King one next to each other. But where there is a Louis Vuitton, there is a YSL. And where there's a Tiffany's, there's a Cartier. Why? Because you go where the buyer walks. When you know yourself, when you don't know yourself, you need to stand out and be alone and be separate from everything else to be the only choice. Luxury is not the only choice. It's the best choice. And the best choice means that you're willing to stand proud among some of the greatest people this world have ever known and to be proud of them and proud of yourself and willing to become better because that's what it takes. Not because you're not good enough, not because they are just better than you, but because they've set a standard you're excited to play with. I think that having incredible people doing incredible things is what pushes the world forward. If there was only one good, then there would be no reason for that good to ever become better. It's the constant development of new art that makes art greater. But that can be completely misunderstood frequency wise is who's the best and we all need to compete, but compete creates competition. When you create competition, you break the thing that you're doing a lot of the times when it's unhealthy competition. There's respectful competition, like the kind of competition where you genuinely shake hands with the person who won, and then there's the kind of competition I've been seeing on the internet, which I want nothing to do with because that does not bring women together. That does not bring the world together. That does not bring artists together. It doesn't bring anyone together. It creates opposing clans that hate each other. There's nothing luxurious about that. People can scrap in the streets if they want to see that.
What is the power of luxury? The power of luxury is knowing what is a luxury in this life. Being loved by someone is a luxury. Being admired is not an a luxury. It it comes and goes. It's usually we weaponize as well. I admire you as long as you say everything I want you to say. The minute you don't say what I want you to say, I don't admire you anymore. I've taken away my adm my admiration. Ha, I took away my like. I've unfollowed you. Let me just tell you how I took it all back. That it's weaponized. It isn't real. What is luxurious is made from art. Real luxury is made from art. is made from a uniqueness not against not because you're separate. Uniqueness because we all are. And wouldn't it be great to find out in what way in what capacity that is and to be a part of something? And when you're on the frequency of luxury, you're on the frequency of more. More than is enough, more than is required. You can surrender into something.
I do not do this work to be admired. As a matter of fact, I stay away from a lot of the public eye stuff that puts people in that admiration zone because I don't want to become not a human. I don't want to become just a girl on the internet speaking through a camera. The hardest thing about this journey for me, honest to God, has been how much intimacy lacks in the way I'm treated. And and this is not this is not like people treat me bad. It's not like they're they're mean. Some people are, but that's not who I'm referring to. It's how hard it is to just see me. It's in the Oh gosh, can't believe I'm talking to you. That I know comes from a cerebral place. It's in the if I ever met you, I would I would want a selfie or something instead of realizing that I'm literally sitting in a hotel room crying my eyes out as the realest person. It's just something happened along the way where instead of it continuing to be intimacy for a lot of people, it became admiration. And that's not what I want. It's not what any of us want. I promise you. You'll get admiration. That's that is part of the game. But admiration instead of love, admiration instead of intimacy leads to a really difficult path because you know what starts to happen then? You start to perform to not lose the admiration. I've lost so many people on this journey mostly because I wasn't willing to do what they needed me to do in order for them to keep admiring me. Those who loved me love me still. You can become really successful, but you can lose yourself entirely if you forget it's a luxury to be loved and it's a luxury to love. If you forget that not everything is built the same. Not everyone does what they do for the same reasons. I don't care. I really honest to goodness don't care about your admiration. What I care about is woman to woman make helping you do something where you where you get to say I'm so grateful I have Melanie in my life. Like that's that's what I've always cared about. And I do these master classes knowing that a few people will get that. A few people will see this is a very rare kind of person that clicks with me and this is a sacred time for both of us for me and for her and I want to do it.
And what why I am sharing this with you is because I've built at this point now the kind of success and results that most people would have told me I need to be more aggressive with my marketing. I need to share more testimonials. I need to show more results. I need to show more this. I need to show more of that. I need to show more this. Like this has always been the thing people told me. Got to be more of a shark in your marketing. Like, do you realize how much money you're leaving on the table? But I've stayed true to feminine energetics. I've stayed true to what I deep in my spirit believe is the way. And what that has shown me is that I can go against all the rules of marketing and honestly just know that in a a group of people of hundreds of people watching that there's a few that are just on the same frequency and you can do that too. A lot of people look at my social media and think the reason I am where I am is because I have all those followers. Most those followers look at me with an evil eye. Most of those followers watch me hoping they're going to figure out what the heck it is that I'm doing. The amount of people that actually do the work with me, they're not impressive because of the numbers they represent. You can't miss them in a room. They're the real people that come in and feel human beings that are willing to put their hearts on the line that really feel something.
People look at my marketing strategy and be like, where is it? It's like, how can I market in some of these conversations? It's just not possible. Like, I can market a course on marketing, but how do you market a course on luxury? I I've had feedback. I've had people be like, "I'm so confused why you didn't market this more." Because I didn't want to have to tell you what you get when you spend time with me. I just wanted to know it as a frequency and see who showed up. Cuz I didn't want to promise you what you would get in listening to me speak. I wanted you to feel inside whether or not this is a place you wanted to come to. And I wanted you to make the decision whether you showed up or not cuz that's the only way I know you're here for the right reasons in this kind of work. Now, some of you are here and you're marketers and you're you sell stuff that needs to be marketed and that is different. But I want to talk to you about if you have a business that is about relationships and it is very close and you've got it in your
head that you need more admiration. People need to look at you like you're the one to beat. You only want that because you don't have it. Because on the day that's what you got, you would put it all down for something else. I promise you that I have built something so precious and my biggest pain in building it has been watching everything that's happening around.
I wish I I wish there was a way to lift the veil for more people to see what this is. It's a luxury to be loved by you. only if you understand that it's a luxury to be loved by them. If you think you deserve it, then it'll never be a luxury to be loved by you either. It'll just be something that people deserve. You think you des you've got to love everybody and everybody's going to love you back. But if you actually see it like, wow, this level of respect from someone is a luxury. We don't do that anymore. People say everybody deserves respect from who? Not everybody deserves my respect, but everybody deserves respect from someone. Okay. Everyone deserves love. Yeah. But everyone deserves love from you. It's a luxury to be respected by you. It's a luxury to be loved by you. It's a luxury to have intimacy with you. It's a luxury to be chosen by you. It's a luxury to be listened to by you. It's a luxury. It's all a luxury. But if you're only willing to experience that on one side and not give it back, then there can be no relationship. If I were here saying it is a luxury to be loved by me and it is a luxury to be taught by me and it's a luxury for you to be here with me, but I were unwilling to feel that it's also a luxury that you're here. There could be no equal power relationship between us. Can you feel that? If I wanted you to think or feel that it's a luxury for you to be here, but I didn't care whether you came or went, can you see that? That does not work.
So, there are some energetics that don't that aren't translating in the world right now. And I think it's happening because of how many people have that many followers and that many people. It's like there's only one of me. There's hundreds with you. So what does intimacy look like? It can't be reciprocity. It can't I I I don't necessarily have the same, you know, I have an entire team helping me respond to your messages. can't respond in the same way, but I I have this entire team of real people that take the time to answer because it is a luxury that you message. So, it's a luxury that you care. Well, we all care. That's for sure. There's an energetic match there. But what does it look like to be in a group of people who who understand this and be like, "It's a luxury for us to be in this room." Like, you're here. I'm here. The AlphaF team is here. But there's like 400 people on this call right now that are still on since the beginning, which means that this isn't turning them off. They're like, "Okay, let me sit with this. Let me feel into this. I like this. 400 people. You're in a room with 400 people who can get behind this. Isn't that a luxury? I'm in a room with 400 people that can get behind this. Isn't that a luxury?
It'll always feel lonely if you have mistaken belonging for leading. When you want everyone to see you, that's not belonging. When you want everybody to like you, that's not belonging. Because the actual most belonging thing that we can be is a little bit ignored. Kind of part of the furniture. Most people don't realize that we were there until we're gone or they saw us and they thought they'd say hi later and then we're gone. They didn't get a chance to see us and they thought about messaging us that they didn't get a chance to see us and then they forgot. That's what belonging feels like. Belonging feels like some of the things we say are funny and they're the most embarrassing things we wish no one heard. Some of the things we wish we were funny for, most people don't understand. We feel a little awkward and people feel awkward that we feel awkward and so we all ignore it because we're all trying to be cool. That's what belonging feels like. The thing you want is not belonging. The thing you want is to be seen, to do something that stands out, to do something important in this world. And there's two ways that you can go around doing that. You can go build something extraordinary because you were born worthy of doing whatever the heck it is that you want to do with your life. And the world deserves you to do whatever that visionary mind of yours wants to do. And you're in an era where there's women everywhere that have done it. There's something in the same frequency of it. There's mentorship available. There's sisterhood available. and you want to be one of the greats in a time where womenhood is being challenged in all kinds of different ways. Or you can pretend that being admired is being loved. You can pretend that likes mean love. You can pretend that money means love. You can pretend that you deserve people to love you. You can pretend that if they don't, there's something wrong with you. You can be angry at everyone that doesn't. And you can start performing to be admired, thinking that's love. and only do what you think is going to give you admiration because anything less than that would feel like you don't love, you're not loved, and you don't matter. And in making that decision, you can only go further away from yourself and further away from the realness of being human. There's no room for you anymore. There's no room for your your real self. It's all about what it looks like and it's not about what it is anymore. And that is literally the opposite of luxury. That is what the fake Louis Vuitton they sell you on the side of the street in New York are. They are what it looks like, but they're not what it is. What it is is real.
This is probably the most luxurious thing you could get from a person that's achieved what I've achieved. This is the thing that requires the most of me. This is the energy that is the rarest that I will feel and that I'll let myself fully surrender into. This is the most like in the- moment while it matters the most kind of transmission. This is the I can't I can't plan this or orchestrate it or teach it this way when I'm not in it. This is what real luxury is. Real luxury is being a part of something that matters while it's happening in the realest most true experience of what it is. So all of the pre pre-calculated pre-posts that you make that are all about sharing something that you think people are going to click on because the hook and the this and the that like that is just what everybody's doing and it'll be a trend until it's not. But this has continued to be the way that I do things. just with all my heart facing the pain that comes with thinking you can pay for intimacy. Navigating my feelings through all of that but and never letting it be true. I have had people pay me a lot of money that I did not like. And I have had people pay me almost nothing in comparison and just love them like crazy. I've had people pay me nothing at all. I've had people who've owed me money in my life, people that I've paid. But when you spend time with people and they're your kind of people, sometimes you just accidentally fall in love with them. But you can't pay for that. I have a love for humanity. I have a love for my work. I have a love for what I do. But as soon as I sense from you that you do things for the wrong reasons, my energy around you changes. My energy for you changes because I don't think you're doing what you're I don't think it's good for the world. And I love the people who are doing things that are good for the world, not just selfserving. And we're in a very self-serving world right now. And this the per the people that hurts the most is women. Show me how much you like me is so different than the sacred power of womanhood that we're capable of. You know, I've I've hired people in my own life for certain jobs and I end up liking them and I'm sad when the job is over. My general contractor for my property that I'm doing right now, I will genuinely be sad when I have no more work to give him. Like, I love him. He's such a great person. I'll be sad. And I've worked with people that I'm like, you're lucky you're the best because there is nothing about you I enjoy, but you are excellent at what you do and I admire that. This this this I pay you for your work. But I don't pay the guy I that does the contractor job just because I love him. If he was not good at his job, I'd have to lovingly fire him. It's just so much more fun for me that I just happen to think he's an incredible human being, that he's good at what he does, and that he's a great person. That's a benefit. You don't hire people so that they love you, but if you click with them, that's awesome. I think somewhere along the lines feminine empowerment got lost with just pay me if you love me or pay me or I won't love you anymore or pay me or you won't be loved. Got to you've got to be able to decipher the difference. I value your mind. I admire your work ethic. I want to work with you because I I I think that you are very good at what you do. But not I want to I want to work with you because I want you to love me. And as as weird as it sounds, I'm telling you, people have hired me for all the wrong reasons so many times or have just said the most awful things just because they don't feel like I love them. People who've never taken a program with me, but want to shame me publicly for not feeling important when they talk to me because they get my team in my inbox instead of me. If if I really mattered, you would have responded to me personally. and if you don't respond to me personally, then I'm going to personally attack you and say all these terrible things about you. It's like, this isn't respect. This is you thinking you could buy my love and thinking that the only way that you get love is if I give you exactly what you want. And I'm seeing this happen more and more and more with women. We think when we pay for things, we deserve to be loved. We don't we think that if we go and sign up for something, we should be made to feel like we belong. First of all, we're getting belonging all wrong. But this is what happens. Then people fight away from things. is they say, "I used to love this luxury brand, but then I realized that I needed to constantly keep buying from it in order to belong." So, you bought in order to belong. That's the issue with luxury. It's always next season and next season and there's always another season and so you're you're never really wearing the latest season. So, you've got to keep up with the Joneses. Did you buy to keep up with the Joneses in the first place? Yes.
So, here is the bigger picture in all of this. You have a gift. You are unique. You have an idea. You have a thing you want to do. It will be different and unique because it's you if you stand by your truth. If you better yourself because that's what you want to do in this lifetime. But if you get more caught up in how many people know you and how it looks like in trying to get people to love you slash admire you slash all these things in order to belong because you think that unless you create something incredible, you won't belong. It won't build the way you think it will. And even if it did, what you would be left with once you have it is not the thing you want to keep. What does it really mean to build something so big? It means that we deserve to do whatever it is that we want to do with this lifetime because we were born worthy and nothing has changed. But no one we don't deserve any one person to love us. We don't deserve any one person to choose us. We don't deserve any one person to hire us. We don't deserve one person to none of that. That's our work to do. That is as we learn how to express what we do on the frequency that we do it in. And so what I've contemplated in on my journey is how to keep things healthy because they were far healthier people. It was far healthier for me to be a coach before people knew who I was because they couldn't pick me because I looked a certain way. They couldn't pick me because of what it looked like. They couldn't pick me just because I looked cool or rich or successful. They had to pick me because of some kind of a resonance. There was something about what I did for people and there was something about the way they felt about me as a real person. that existed in the room. But I've never been better at what I do than I am now. I've never been more extraordinarily good at what I do than I am now. It's never been a greater time to work with me than it is now. But if I say that, I'll get all the people who hire me for the wrong reasons. Because they'll get caught up in, oh, oh, then I should, instead of having the agency and personal power to tap into something and say, yeah, I agree. And so that's why for me at this point, I've transitioned into almost no marketing because it's been the only way for marketing to not just be the thing that skews people from their own power. what I could do in the beginning with my marketing, I can't really even do anymore. But what I love about this and what it's showed me is that marketing was never really about what I said. It was actually always about the frequency of what I knew, that I'm excellent at what I do, that I'm here for the right reasons. That was going to be enough whether I said things or not. Because for some people they say all the right things and the marketing doesn't work because the energy isn't there. And for some people they say none of the things and it works because the frequency is there. But luxury leads needs a lot less words but it needs truth. Real luxury needs truth. There's only one of this. That's why it's luxurious. Doesn't matter that everyone deserves it. They can't have it. That's what makes it luxurious. Not everyone can have it. There's a level of care that goes with it. There's a level of service that goes with it. There's a level of respect that goes with it. But you can't take it. You can't fake it. You can't steal it. You can't manipulate it. You can't use it and achieve the same things as you would if you love it, if you get it, if you care about it, if you learn about it. And what I would ultimately dream for you to have is a luxury brand, a luxury business, a luxury relationship, luxury friendships. You know, this is why I think celebrities struggle so much with finding real intimacy in their relationships is because it's like once you know Brad Pitt, how do you ever go beyond looking at Brad Pitt? It's like, yeah, but it's Brad Pitt. Is there intimacy or is there just star shock factor? What kind of a strong person needs to be able to sit across Brad Pitt and no longer see that? And we're going to we're going to need this in our world because the internet is creating pedestals so easily. It's shocking. And if you want real romance, real friendship, real then there can be no pedestal. It has to be heartto-heart to heart realness. And I think that we're on a journey back to that right now because too many women have done it the other way, become successful, and felt so alone, used, boxed in. It's like, if this is success, I don't even want it. I'm willing to give things to everyone else that I can't even find for myself. I want to give things to everyone else I don't even know if exists for me. What's really been so healing for me, honest to goodness, this this beautiful journey through the experiment, but also my house of oat mastermind where I feel like every mastermind that I do, I end up dismantling some of this because I really allow myself to be fully in the spaces that I lead in. I let myself love the people that are there, whether they love me back or not, whether they're only there because they admire me or not. And some of them realize they admired me at first and then they're like, "You know what? I actually I actually found the human here while I was in here and I'm so grateful." And it's it's just been such a an incredible thing to be able to create spaces where I I belong in those spaces, which means I'm messy in those spaces, too. I get emotional. I share. I I I talk about my processes, my my real life, like I've achieved the things that I wanted and they came with duality. All of them. There's not one thing that I just got. everything was like and this is what it came with and this is how I overcame this and here's how I'm handling that and but and I can't be that for the entire world because the entire world won't see me enough to feel it and it's like I I can't see the whole world anyway so how could I expect the whole world to see me? So there's a part that you'll see on the internet and then there's a part you'll see in a master class and then there's a part you'll see it goes deeper and deeper and deeper because knowing me is a luxury. In the same way when people see you on the internet they're seeing a piece of you but they're not seeing all of you because you don't give all of you to people on the internet. Knowing you is a luxury. Not everyone just deserves to know you. Not everyone deserves to just see you go through things. But if they choose you, then the friendships, the relationships, and sometimes even the business partnerships can go the distance. And so why this this module is so important is like I don't I don't necessarily need people to love me because my Instagram following. I don't need you to watch a master class like this and be like, well, I mean, I've known Melanie for all of 48 hours. Should I love her? I don't even know her, but I feel like I should love her. Or based on what she said, also feel terrible. Um, that's not really what this is about. It's more like would you would you love as much as you expect to be loved in a space I lead? Like would you love the space as much as you hope it would love you back? Would you be willing to be uncomfortable in it? Would you be willing to be vulnerable in it? Would you be willing to belong in it? Which means everyone's just kind of cozy. No one's paying attention to whether or not you're okay right now. Cuz if we all expect if you weren't, you'd ask us for help. You know, that kind of thing. And then deeper than that when when it's coming into like closer proximity mentorship that's where it matters for those that are applying for house of vote for people who are like I want to do I want to learn this like I I I've done this I am in a place where I'd give everything to my community and I am not connected to them. I feel like I have to perform for them all the time and if I don't they stop caring about me immediately. They stop paying me. I'm afraid they'd stop paying me. And then I realize in all this that I don't think any of them genuinely cares about me. I think they all care about what they're getting. And I'm trapped. I'm performing like a circus monkey. And every time I take a day off and someone's marketing about how they're better than me, I feel stressed. And I can't take a a day off because the client that I believe I'm meant to be working with is about to go buy from this other person. And I'm constantly stressed and I don't believe anyone will hire me for the right reasons. that I'm constantly performing and I'm tired and I'm exhausted and I think I need to let myself be held. Mentorship has changed. I was having a conversation with one of my long-term clients the other week. Feels like yesterday now. I remember when I first came into this industry, one-on-one mentorship was like the most incredible thing because people were so grateful to their mentors. Like I would talk about my mentors, I would talk about my peers, I would talk about like we would just talk about each other like gosh what an incredible industry this is and what an incredible thing. And then the more the competition lens came in, it was like you keep your mentor private because they're your bestkept secret. You don't say how they helped you because then nor else people think the only reason you are who you are is because of them and then they'll want to hire your mentor instead. So don't say anything. And this and the co very coaching industry I used to absolutely admire became a competition field where it was like well although I really am grateful for you I just won't say that in case it costs me a sale. You know, I won't celebrate my clients for who they are. I'm going to celebrate them for what they did. Because I celebrate them for who they are, then people will love my clients. If they if I celebrate them for who they did, people might think I'm the reason they did it. If I celebrate them for who they are, I really talk about them the way the way I see them, then will people prefer them? We're not going in the right direction. So, when you're considering my close proximity mastermind and you're thinking to yourself, hm, wonder if I can be seen in there. I wonder if I come into Melany's world with all of my big events and my big things and my big stuff that's coming and I just kind of celebrate how successful I am in there if they'll choose me instead. Don't do it. If you think how many people are in there because I really want to be able to stand out but call it belonging, don't do it. If you're finally ready to come be a woman in a space with other women that actually care to crack this, then come. Even if you fear you might get it wrong. The fact that you care enough to to fear it works for me. If you want a place where you're going to be your real self, where you're going to let yourself be held, where you're not going to position yourself in a way where you barely really get the coaching that you want because you would want all the powerful people in the room to see you in your not perfectness, then don't. If you're willing to be the reason the room changes, then come. If you understand the mission that I'm on, if you think you can be a part of that, if you think your heart will soften the room, then come. If you want to belong instead of stand out, then come. If you want to come in and be on a call and you're messy, no makeup, butt on top of your head without feeling like, "Oh god, what do people think of me?" Then come. If you're willing to tell us when it's hard so that we can celebrate with you when it works, come. If you want to tell us what's hard and then go celebrate what's great on the internet and never tell us what happened because you don't think it'll matter, don't come. If you don't tell us when it's hard, but you celebrate constantly about how good it is, don't come. Because it's part of the problem. It's a luxury to be in a room that everyone treats like a luxury. And we're not doing that anymore. Everyone wants to make every room deserving of everyone. And in that we are losing real important connection. You can say everyone belongs, everybody deserves, everybody. The special thing you're running after is dying because you say that that feeling of it's it matters and it's special and it's important. It does not survive in an environment where everyone should have it. If you understand the power of luxury and you understand the small nuance that changes everything, it is a luxury to know you. But it's a luxury for you to have found us. It's a luxury for me to have this power and influence. But it's a luxury to have this power and influence with people who see beyond power and influence who see gosh that's that's a really intense thing that h that this person that this person's done. like wonder how how she did that and I wonder what that felt like and I have questions instead of oh well was probably easy it was probably this it was probably that she's probably this probably that probably that and why don't I have that and everybody deserves that she's not more deserving than anybody else shouldn't it just be this shouldn't it just be that it's all a luxury we're not looking to say you don't deserve it we're here to say nobody deserves it luxury uy that you choose. But you can't just take in luxury. You get kicked out if it's not as valuable for the brand as it is for you. They'll ban you. That's the beautiful thing about luxury. It's like it's good for us to be associated because we see the luxury in each other. I care about you and I care about what you're doing and you care about me and you care about what I'm doing. That's a luxury. Everyone deserves everyone to care about all things. Cool. But that's not duplicable. So as you go out from this master class into your lives, I hope this changes the way you see every social media account, every influencer, and I really hope it changes the way that you see yourself. You're you don't need to be admired to be chosen. When I built Alpha Fm, my first million dollars was with 284 people. I couldn't believe it happened. You don't need tons of people because a lot of times the more people there are, the harder it is for people to see you as a person. It's like I'm not having an experience with you. We are. it becomes harder and harder and harder to have one-on-one conversations with people because we run out of time. Like if if I could have had this masterclass conversation with you individually, it would have been such a different conversation if I could have just sat with you over coffee somewhere and been like, "Let me tell you something." Like, oh my god, it would have been such a different experience. But because there's 400 people on a live call with us in the Zoom room, it's like you're watching something. But it isn't. It's this it's the same as if I were just telling you. It's just I'd never maybe even get to you if it weren't for the ability to put more people in a room. And I don't know what's right. Sometimes I wonder, was it better when I was the invisible coach? Was it better when I could only ever speak to people who were hiring me? Was it better when no one knew me? They just knew one person they valued that said, "You want to talk to this woman? Like, buy a session, she'll change your life." Was it better for me? Was it better for them? Then I have to trust how many people I've met that I may have never met if it weren't for the internet. How many people have been in my life since master classes I did 5 years ago because I presented myself in a frequency I could stand in and they felt it. And it's like, is it the way? Is it the way? Whether it's one-on-one or whether it's in a master class or is it us? And is it just that the internet has changed us a little bit? We've become followers of things and leaders of things more than we are shoulderto-shoulder with things. friends, acquaintances, which feels within itself like it's equal. Like you have an acquaintance on the internet so different than you follow a girl. You know, I have an acquaintance on the internet that came to my master class feels so different than one of my followers and just there's something so separate from all of it. And we're we're going in the right in in the world's going in an incorrect direction. That I know for sure because it's further away from love. Anything you can measure takes you out of your heart and into your head. And in art, you don't measure. You don't say which bag was better, the 2022 version or the 2023 version. If you ask that question, then you go in your head, well, which one sold more, but which one was a better piece of art? Which one was more beautiful? Which one meant more? Which one? You're comparing yourself to people because they earn more. It's not the right comparison. You can validate things. You can validate things with money, but you can't compare. I don't if that makes sense. You can say that's legitimate, but it's not like, oh, that must be better because one is cerebral. You can validate with a cerebral thing. When it comes to the heart, you got to still keep your heart open. Luxury is felt, not thought about. You're allowed to celebrate. You're like the in the same way I've celebrated the way I always have since my very first milestone in business. I celebrated on the internet. I still celebrate now. But instead of like, oh my gosh, I just had a $10,000 month. It's like we're going to cross $100 million for the company. But what I what I want is that people hire me not because I made $100,000 in my company. I want people to hire me because I made $100,000 in my company like this. Feeling like this. Honoring myself like this. Allowing myself to be vulnerable like this. Allowing myself to be close to people like this. Allowing my heart to be broken and not change like this. allowing myself to to not adapt to people's poor crappy way of being and saying, you know what, people suck, so I'll suck, too. But saying it's part of it's just part of it. They didn't understand the value. They didn't understand the luxury. They just didn't get it. I will not change my heart. I'm going to keep doing it. I didn't get I didn't have to go cold. I didn't have to change my heart. I didn't have to give up and quit and run away. I didn't turn my back on the people who really loved me. I didn't stop feeling love from the people who genuinely did. I didn't lose myself. I didn't I didn't just pull myself so far back and stop sharing about myself. As a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever been more vulnerable than I am now. I've never received more from my work than I have now. But I ache for the world. And when things go wrong, I feel it because it's not possible to care about people and to be genuine with people and not be heartbroken when they totally mess it up. So, I'm open for heartbreak. But so what? I'm also open for the kind of feelings that have come with what I've created that I think most people crave. People say, "I never I didn't think it would feel like this to be successful. I thought it would be more this, more this, more this, more this, more this. There'll always be people who don't get it. But they don't have the power to change my experience of my life. They just have the power to break my heart. And I know how to handle that. I wish you a life where you feel the way you intuitively know inside you're supposed to feel. not trapped, not trying to look like you've got it all under control with nowhere to land, but just like a real human being navigating life and touching as much of it as you can. The path ahead for me, what's coming now in my work, I am very excited about. I have been doing a lot of preparation for this pivot that's coming and I know that it's one of those like history in the making of my life of my career and of the clients of mine that are in my life of my clients in the House of Osaf experience my clients in the movement like I know where we're going and master classes like this are just an opportunity for me to extend an invitation say do you want to come wherever you're at like do you want to come. And if a lot of this was difficult for you and you're like, I don't know if I can open my heart like that and I don't know if I can care the way you said. Well, then come to the movement and start learning. If you're like, I'm I'm still I still don't even know what I'm doing. I I feel a calling to to do something that matters and I'm willing to put the whole belonging thing down and to stop waiting to be invited before I show up. I can at least do that. But I don't know if I can like totally love you, Melanie. I don't know if I'm there yet. Perfect. Come into the alpha fem experience. Come be in a group and come learn what it's like to just actually belong and to to be in the room with other people and not feel like if you're not being seen by everyone, you don't belong. Like, come work on that. Come listen to me speak to things that matter. Let me come let me change let me help you change everything you want to change on a cellular level. It'll blow your socks right off. And if you're like, hot damn, this is the mentorship I've ever needed in my life, and I don't know how I could ever possibly achieve the things that I want unless this is the way I was mentored. Then come to House of Oat. Apply. Ask the Alpha Fem team. Now, the luxury program that's coming, it's going to be more about how do you market a luxury brand? There's going to be some of the energetics from this course, but it's going to be less luxury as a concept and it's going to be more about how to integrate that concept into your marketing. So, how to how to create a feeling through art rather than how to say it in positioning, how to make it less cerebral and more emotional, how to face the things that come up with you that you're like, I can't say that. And it's like, okay, but then why what do you feel? cleaning stuff up, becoming more energetically aligned with being an influence on the internet, understanding the difference between getting likes and getting real resonance. What has really helped me build my brand is I've focused on relevant visibility instead of going viral. It's more about the energetics of things and how I'm writing for for buyers in a specific way rather than trying to be seen, trying to be known, trying to be this. It's being seen, being known, writing in that way, creating in that way. And I think just based on the work I've done with a lot of my clients on social media, it's like it stops being something you do for validation metrics and it starts being something you do as a gateway to finding your clients. It's just the path the pathway shortens. Instead of going all like this, you're able to find your people. It's a really amazing piece and I'm doing it over a longer period of time. And so it's like I think it's so it's one module the first week, one another module the next week, another module then one week there's two modules and then a last module. So it it's a longer program. There's time for integration so you can practice um and that if you come into the movement as a founding member you would receive that for free. If you're in the alpha fan experience you would receive that for free. If you're in house of vote you would receive it for free or you can purchase it yourself. The price of house of vote deluxe program and AF are going to be going up. So keep an eye out if any of those things feel like they're the right fit for you. Just keep this energy in your heart if you can. Being alive is a luxury. Having a dream is a luxury. It's not just you deserve it, but also you don't not deserve it. You get to do it. And having the internet is a luxury if we treat it that way. And having a mentor is a luxury. And having someone that cares to help you do something is a luxury. And being a group in a group of people who are up to big things is a luxury. And having people root for you is a luxury. And learning how to do things through other people's learnings and mistakes is a luxury. And keeping your frequency correct so you can build in a way that you love instead of building it. Finding out that wasn't the way. Having to dismantle the whole thing, start over again. That's a luxury. It's all a luxury. And you will just value it that little bit more. And if you can value it, it'll consume you in a different way. You'll see the beauty in it, the power in it. It'll bring your smile back. It'll bring your passion back. You'll start falling in love more with what you do and who you are and whom you do it for. The more we fear that we're not getting what we deserve, everything's about us. Why I don't deserve it. Shouldn't I deserve it? Nobody loves me. Nobody likes me, nobody this, nobody that. I'm consumed by my own self. But when I move all that stuff out of the way, then I can create what I want to create for the world. And with the emotional and spiritual maturity to know that not everyone is going to love it, then I can work with only who loves it and stop trying to jump through hoops to be admired, to feel like I'm on the right track. And I can spend my time loving the people who can love me back because that's a luxury. spending your time trying to get people to love you on the internet because you want to deserve it because you call it belonging. That's a one-way ticket in the wrong direction. This is about meaning. It's about real legacy work. It's about building something we're proud of and it's about building something we would be happy for our daughters to walk the same footsteps as us. Would you be proud for your daughter to build a business in the energy that you are building your business right now? Would you be proud for your niece to be as worried about how much people like or not like her on the internet as you are? Would you want her to struggle with belonging the way you do? Would you want like are you modeling not just what it looks like but what it is? There is a way for this to be the thing that builds women. But it would be a luxury for all the women who would get it. It would be a luxury to experience it because it would be coexisting with what everybody else is doing. So you have to see it as a luxury, not just a deserving because unfortunately it's not the way the world's behaving right now. So I want to thank you for being here. It has been a luxury for me to be able to really share the truth of what's on my heart and to not worry whether that makes you admire me a little less or not because that's not what this is about. If you came in here admiring me and you admire me a little less, I've lost nothing. If you came here and you feel me, I've gained everything. We've gained everything. womanhood has gained something because it's the hardest thing on the internet right now to see a person that's got more than you have and to feel anything other than how do I do that? How do I get that? What is she going to give me? What is she going to get? What am I going to get? To leave feeling like you're a part of something or it matters or you genuinely care. That's an upgrade in human experience. And if you were able to have that in this master class, then we just did something really good for the world. no matter what happens next. So, thank you for your presence, for who you are. I look forward to seeing you wherever I see you next on the internet. Have a beautiful day. [Music]
