Good morning friends and enemies of the states. The fantasy playoffs for week 15 matchups are close to over. They're not fully over. We got Pittsburgh at Miami, uh, tonight. Flip that. Miami at Pittsburgh tonight. So, we've got a lot of game left still to play for some of you silly hoes out there.
But as always, every Monday, we're going to go through every single game and talk about the biggest fantasy takeaways from each of the 15 games that have happened already. Talk about injuries, talk about snap counts. This is a big episode, actually. There were a lot of injuries that are going to impact the fantasy playoffs to a major, major, major degree.
So, we will start off with the Atlanta Falcons putting the smackdown on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers despite basically setting the [ __ ] record for the most penalties in a game. Every single snap, we had a, we had a [ __ ] penalty. It was insane. But we win 29 to 28. Kirk has a vintage Kirk game. Kyle Pitts has the opposite of a vintage Kyle Pitts game. I mean, 11 for 166, three touchdowns. I think it was the third best fantasy tight end performance of all time.
You know what? I'm going to back off Kyle Pitts for, for 30 seconds because he actually helped me win a matchup. I had him in my lineup. Um, and that 45 points did not hurt. It didn't hurt. What I will say is, as a Falcons fan, we're going to go crazy over this tiny little fake stretch he's had. We're going to franchise tag him. Probably maybe even give him an extension for having like two good games out of a four-game, four-year career. I don't even know what to say about Kyle Pitts, man. If you just look at the seven players that were picked after him, they're like Hall of Fame players. And we have some shitty tight end that can do this literally only against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And literally, when there is not an ounce of target competition, the minute Drake London steps back on the field, Kyle Pitts is a 4 for 32 player. I've seen this too many times and y'all fall for it every single time.
We just had a report that Drake London is day-to-day. They will be playing the Arizona Cardinals in week 16, which is a great matchup, even for fantasy tight ends, even for Kyle Pitts. So hopefully we get Drake London back out there, but I ain't falling for the, I ain't falling for the Kyle Pitts propaganda. All right, not me. You could do that. Y'all can do that out there. And shout out P. Listen, I'll always be grateful for the week that you just propelled me to the semi-finals. To the semi-finals, Kyle Pitts did that for me. I'm in four leagues. As long as DK Metcalf can throw up four points, I think it's like 4.2 points in full PPR, I will advance to the semis in all four of those leagues. Can't ask for much more. Could ask for a lot more from Kyle Pitts throughout the course of his career, but for this one game, we'll take it.
The other side of the coin here, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a little bit more confusing. Mike Evans makes his return, leaves the field once or twice, but ends up dominating the targets here. 12 targets, six catches, 132. So, as far as I'm concerned, Mike Evans is, uh, you know, good to go for the remainder of your fantasy playoffs as a high-end wide receiver two. They get Carolina and Miami over the next two weeks. So, beautiful matchup for him.
If we look at the wide receiver grouping here, uh, he didn't even play a full complement of snaps. 70% for Mike Evans, 63 for Ibuka, got to win 95%. Jaylen McMillan made his return as well to 50% of the routes here. So, TZ Johnson phased out completely. So, right now, I mean, like, if I'm looking at those matchups, Carolina, Miami, if I'm projecting forward, Evans is definitely going to be the highest ranked guy in my rankings going forward. I think Godwin and Ibuka are kind of like wide receiver threes that are definitely fine sitting both of them, but if you need, could definitely start them given the good matchups. And then, uh, McMillan's not someone I'm trying to start.
Backfield, Bucky got the majority of touches, but the problem is, uh, with Evans back, Baker's like a gunslinger and he wants to throw to his receivers. So, didn't see a lot of targets for the running backs here. However, when they got down to the goal line, this is the problem in this backfield right now. Bucky's dominating like overall touches, but snaps 56% to 41% for Rashad White. Shawn Tucker inside the five-yard line saw all three carries, was the one who got the rushing touchdown despite only seeing four carries on the day. So, that's a little bit of a cause for concern. I still think Bucky is a high ceiling, like high-end RB2 going forward. Um, and again, Carolina, Miami, two pretty good matchups for the remainder of the fantasy playoffs. So, not panicking fully on Bucky Irving. Good to have Mike Evans back, though.
Bears, Browns. Uh, on the Browns side of things, not many takeaways here. I mean, their offensive line is absolutely decimated and it's killing Quinnshaw Judkins. Uh, even without Jerome Ford, even without Dylan Samson, he could get nothing going. They get the Buffalo Bills, which on paper should be a good matchup for the, uh, for the ground game, but hard to, uh, rank Judkins as anything higher than like a mid to low-end RB2 right now just based on how inefficient they are. Harold Fannon sees 14 targets in the first game without David and Joku. So, he's very much trustable in PPR, but outside of that, nothing for the, uh, the Browns here.
A tough day for Shador Sanders. Three interceptions, takes five sacks. So, that's, you know, more often than not, you're getting bad outings from Shador Sanders. On the flip side, Caleb played really, really well. Um, DeAndre Swift played awesome. 18 for 98, two touchdowns. So, most of the production went his way instead of Kyle Manungai's way. Uh, although they still did split snaps pretty evenly here, as has been the case. Swift just ended up, you know, being the better player on this day, as he has been most of the year. 55% of the snaps to 44%. Could go either way on any given day. But as I've been saying, the Cleveland Browns run defense has been bad. They've been bad the last five weeks. They have allowed the sixth most fantasy points per game to running backs over the last five weeks. That does not include this 22-point performance from DeAndre Swift. So, they play Buffalo next week. James Cook wheels up.
Receiving group. Roma Dunce right before the game, reaggravates the stress fracture in his foot. He literally was ruled out. I think it was like three minutes before game time. So, there's probably a lot of people that kept him in their lineups, caught a zero, lost their games or won their games because their opponent kept them in the lineup. Tough [ __ ], tough [ __ ]. You got to be on top of your ship before the 1 PM games. In his absence, Luther Burton, six for 84, team high, seven targets. Unfortunately, he's got a little bit of an ankle injury. I don't know how severe it is. We don't have the severity of it. Uh, no reports really came out so far. Let me see if there's any updates. I'll keep my, uh, Twitter stain app open throughout the, um, stream. So, if we see anything, I'll be able to update in real time. But, he's got the ankle injury. He played on 50% of the dropbacks in this one because of the ankle injury, uh, and was in the medical tent for a little bit, but clearly the most explosive player they had on offense here, uh, from the receiver group. Now, if Adun misses more time, which I expect, you do like Luther Burden. They have a tough matchup against Green Bay in week 16. San Francisco, better matchup in week 17. So, if Rome misses the remainder of the season, I like Luther Burden as like a wide receiver three.
DJ Moore ends up having a good game, only five targets, but ends up coming down with the two touchdowns here. So, little bit fluky. Colson Lovelin continues to look really good. Four for 63. Um, but yeah, have to wait for news on Luther Burden. If Luther Burden's out as well. I mean, he was, there was a video that showed him getting kind of carted off at the end of the game. Like the game is over. Uh, he was getting carted to the locker room, but that could be precautionary. Just don't want to walk on it at that point. In the same way that like if you get put in a walking boot, a lot of people like freak out about it. But really all that is is like you're walking on a cloud. Like, why, if you have a low ankle sprain, if you have any sort of ankle sprain, why not put a boot on it just so you're not taking any chances with it? So, I don't think it's like super aggressive, the, uh, the cart ride. And the other thing to note is obviously the Bears beat the [ __ ] out of the Browns. So, uh, no reason to have Luther Burden back in the game if it's towards the end of the game and you don't need him in order to play out the, uh, second half there. So, little bit of, uh, reason for optimism.
Moving on to the Ravens and the Bengals. The Ravens, uh, just kind of did whatever they wanted to. Derrick Henry, 11 for 100. Lamar Jackson kind of got back to form, I will say. I mean, eight for 12. He only threw the ball 12 times. Um, two touchdowns, interception, that was Zay Flowers's fault. Just bounced off his hand. So, not throwing that on Lamar Jackson at all. I will say in a game script where they win 24 to nothing, they're playing against Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Bengals, um, Derrick Henry, you know, obviously very efficient on the ground, but where the [ __ ] are the Ravens? There we go. The snap counts here. Keaton Mitchell, 40% of the snaps in this one. 42% of the rush attempts. 38% of the snaps were Derrick Henry. Little weird. Little, little weird. Um, obviously, you know, some second half stuff goes to Keaton Mitchell, whatever. But still a little bit too close for comfort if I'm Derrick Henry. This was supposed to be like the blowup Derrick Henry game. Maybe it's just not in his repertoire anymore. But Baltimore gets a huge win over Cincy. Kills their playoff chances. They play New England and then at Green Bay. So, a tough playoff schedule, but you're starting Derrick Henry next week obviously against New England regardless. Good to see a bounce back from Zay Flowers.
Uh, other side of the thing, at just another terrible, terrible day from Joe Burrow. No T. Higgins in this one. Jamar Chase does his thing. Mike Ciki, really, really poor performance here unfortunately. Thought with T. Higgins out, he could make some noise here, but no one really did anything outside of Jamar Chase and Chase Brown in the receiving game. Hopefully, better days ahead for the Cincinnati passing offense. They play at Miami, then Arizona at home in week 17. So, if they can get their minds right, you do have some really, really nice blowup spots for Chase Brown, uh, and Joe Burrow here.
Next up, we got the Chargers and the Chiefs. Herbert kind of wills the team to victory here. Um, you know, nothing crazy on the offensive side of the ball. We did have Quintin Johnson ruled out kind of like right before the game-ish. Trey Harris takes his place. Five targets, three catches, 49 yards. It's not someone I'm really looking to get into my lineup. Not really looking to start any of the Chargers pass catchers right now with the way that this team is kind of, uh, not humming and, uh, Herbert not really throwing a ton of passes here, especially with the hand right now. They play at Dallas next week, so a really, really good matchup. We'll definitely have Lad in my lineup if I have him, but they play Houston in week 17.
The backfield split is obviously what we're more, uh, intrigued by here. Hampton, second game back, has more carries than Vadal again. 15 to 12, 61 yards to 33 yards. But the snap counts tell a little bit of a different story still, where Vadal is still the guy in this backfield playing on the majority of snaps here. 63% to 37% for Omari and Hampton. I still think that's going to continue to go in favor of Omari and Hampton. As you can see, the touches still favor Omari and Hampton. And I think as the weeks progress and he gets healthier and healthier and healthier, especially in a really, really strong matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, uh, Hampton should see some really solid, uh, workloads and outings. And you could see here inside the five-yard line, he did get the carry there, the goal line carry, uh, short down distance. It was still Omari and Hampton. So, you could see the trend of like where these two guys are kind of going and what their roles are going to be as Hampton can take on more and more workload heading into the playoffs for you.
On the other side, of course, uh, Patrick Mahomes tears his ACL, will be out until next year, which basically makes, I'm not going to say everyone's unplayable. Gardner Minshew will, you know, fill in as the backup quarterback. They play Tennessee next week and then Denver the week after. So, if you need a QB2 in Superflex, I think you could play Minshew because the Tennessee pass defense is such a pass funnel right now. They're terrible against quarterbacks. Brock Purdy just ripped him up. Minshew is just not the guy he was, you know, when he was on that like Jeremy Lin run three, four years ago. You'd have to think that they just like pepper the line of scrimmage. Could see some like high target, high reception games from Rashi Rice. Obviously, this wipes out his ceiling, which is, you know, killer for people that drafted Rashi Rice in the fourth, fifth round waiting for him to come back from suspension. Obviously, you can't start anybody else in the passing game outside of Kelce and Rashi Rice. And this absolutely blows up the backfield too. Even in a game against Tennessee where you would expect them to dominate game script with Mahomes, won't be the case with Gardner Minshew. So, uh, Cream Hunt, Isaiah Pacheco fall back to unplayable players, unfortunately.
Bills and New England, uh, ridiculous game. Honestly, this was like probably the best slate of the season. It was nice, you know, and the, and your idiot league mates. I had a bye, so I was able to just kind of sit back and just enjoy football for the first time in four years. And, uh, couldn't have come on a better slate. Like, what a fun [ __ ] grouping of games here. New England up 21 nothing in the first half. The Bills battle back. Josh Allen, three touchdowns. James Cook, three touchdowns. Uh, just all around huge game from the star players here. No one else really to call out in terms of anything to take away from either side of the ball.
Going forward for the Patriots. Drake Maye had his worst outing of the year by far. 155 passing yards, zero touchdowns, one interception. Great on the ground though. Gets home for fantasy because he scores two touchdowns with his legs, four for 43. Uh, but I think this goes to show like, even in a game where the Pats put up 31 points, the passing defense of the Buffalo Bills is really, really, really good. They've really come on. They play Cleveland and then Philadelphia. So, it's not like you're starting anyone in Cleveland next week. Um, Harold Fannon and the tight ends I'm probably okay with, even though that's a very tough matchup. And then you've got Philadelphia. So, that will be a good test for A.J. Brown and them boys out there.
Story of the Patriots was of course Trevon Henderson, 14 for 148, and two touchdowns. Has the two breakaway plays. Like that's what Trevon Henderson is, man. He is a, I'm not going to say a boomer runner. I think he's a little bit better than that, but like, you know, his big games come from those huge runs where he breaks off 65 yards or he breaks off 50 yards and absolutely changes the dynamic of a game. Um, great to see him pop off. You know, I'm not going to, I, I don't think I want to comp him to like Jameer Gibbs because it's like a different type of speed where Trevon Henderson, I, I do feel like at top speed, he's, he's one of the faster players in the league for sure, but it doesn't feel like Gibbs is just so smooth as a player where it's like he never loses speed. He doesn't need ramp-up time to get to top speed where it does feel like Trevon kind of needs that a little bit. But, you know, him doing this with Will Campbell out, with some of their offensive linemen banged up, is just awesome. Awesome to see. And he's going to be a very, very high pick in the great year of 2026.
Um, give me a second. I want to grab some water for my throat. Uh, and while I'm grabbing water, if you guys are enjoying the video thus far, make sure you hit the thumbs up button. I appreciate y'all. Uh, one other thing that should be noted is that while Trevon Henderson for sure dominated the carries here, 14-6, this is also still very much a split backfield committee. The snaps were 67% to 49% for Henderson. So, they're actually playing, uh, together on a decent amount of routes. Interestingly enough, I, I just don't think they trust, uh, Trevon Henderson in pass protection, ironically, after being a really good prospect in that. Uh, Raandre is playing on a lot of the third down stuff in pass blocking situations and an obvious pass-catching situation. So, if Trevon does not hit the big play, which is obviously always on the table week to week, he probably doesn't have a very, uh, high floor, unfortunately, because as you could see, Raandre playing on all of the two-minute snaps, uh, all of the long down and distance plays. He's getting a lot of short down and distance as well, but in base downs, that's a lot of Trevon Henderson's role right now.
Commanders, New York Giants. Uh, very late rule out as well. While Chris Rodriguez was kind of set up in a really good spot to smash here, but instead he gets ruled out, which gives Jakobi Meyers, uh, a huge workload. 18 carries, 96 yards, and a touchdown against a super, super weak New York Giants defense. Of course, Rodriguez's injury, I was not really aware that it was anything serious or that it could actually cause him to miss time, but they play two home games in a row now, Philly and Dallas, and, uh, I kind of like both of those matchups. So, if JCM is, is there without Chris Rodriguez, I'm probably going to be starting him going forward. Uh, but obviously, we'll have to wait on injury reports for that.
Terry McLaurin gets home. No one else really does anything in this passing game. We'll see if Jaden Daniels can get back to practice and play in this one. Otherwise, Washington is cooked. John Stained.
Other side of the ledger, Jackson Dart, 246, two touchdowns. Also adds 63 on the ground with his legs. Typical day for him. Gets put into the medical tent to get checked for a concussion at the end of the game. Cost him some plays and could have cost him the game, honestly. Jameis Winston comes in for a second. Um, but not a concussion, so he'll be fine going forward. Uh, backfield situation, man. Couldn't have read this one more wrong. I thought Singletary was set up in a good spot and had been for the last couple weeks. Tyrone Tracy, uh, on the practice report with the hip injury that caused him to miss the second half of the game prior to the bye week, comes out and just explodes. Hey, Tyrone Tracy's just very good at football. We'll just leave it at that. 18 touches, 97 yards, two total touchdowns. The New York Football Giants get Minnesota at home next week and then Las Vegas in week 17. So, uh, relatively good schedule for running backs going forward. Darius Slayton, I think, should also be picked up and owned, by the way, in all leagues. 10 targets in this one. Just continues to get a lot of high-value targets.
Eagles, Raiders. Really nothing to take away on the Raiders side. They continue to stink. Kenny Pickett made a start in this one. He was god awful. Uh, hopefully, I guess we get Geno Smith back, but they play at Houston next week. So, like, I don't really know how you start anyone in that matchup. It could be another outing like they just had in this one. I think Brock Bowers will still be ranked inside like my top five, but like, do I even want to do that? Probably not, but I'm still probably going to do it because I'm a coward.
Flip side, Jalen Hurts, three touchdowns through the air on only 15 passing attempts. Saquon, 22 for 78 and a touchdown. Uh, receiving Dallas Goedert, six for 72. Touchdowns. Been inconsistent, but has had these kind of spike games. A.J. Brown gets home. You know, when they only throw the ball 15 times, there's just so much that you could do and they just dominated game script here. So, big win for Philadelphia to get back on track. They play at Washington next week. So, you are firing up all of your Philadelphia players, uh, against Washington next week.
Jaguars and Jets. The Jets are just a miserable franchise, as we saw in this one. Um, and the Jacksonville Jaguars are the opposite of that right now. Brady Cook, those three interceptions. Breece Hall cannot get home just because the offensive line is getting no push. The Jacksonville Jaguars run defense is very, very good. Adonai Mitchell does have a good game though, six for 58 and a touchdown, but like, who's going to be able to predict predict that with Brady Cook at QB? So, I have, uh, minimal faith in this team going forward. They play at New Orleans next week, but New Orleans has not really been a pushover as a defense. So, like, I'm still probably starting Breece Hall as a low-end RB2, but I don't feel great about it.
On the flip side, the Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence. He has the game of his lifetime, the game of his career. 330 and five touchdowns through the air, five for 51 and a touchdown on the ground. Now, I know everyone is like willing to write off. They're doing the Kyle Pitts thing where it's like, let's just write off four years of data in favor of this guy just being the GOAT. And, um, my problem with that is this, like, Trevor Lawrence has been fine. Very inconsistent all year. Good games, bad games. Uh, the last four weeks of the schedule have been [ __ ] cakewalk for the Jacksonville defense. So, here's how I'm looking at it. Like, I, I have Trevor Lawrence in a Superflex league where I also have Stafford, Purdy, and Lawrence in week 16. I'm gonna have to make a decision because Stafford is playing on Thursday night against Seattle at Seattle without likely Davante Adams. Trevor Lawrence playing lights out, but they're playing at Denver. I have almost no faith that this hot streak for Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars will continue at Denver. That is obviously one of the toughest matchups you could possibly have on the schedule. Week 15, they played against the Jets. Awful defense. Obviously, no more Sauce Gardner, no more Quinnen Williams. They're a terrible defense. Week 14 when they played against Indianapolis. So, I'm talking the last four weeks is this is where Trevor Lawrence has had blow-up, blow-up games and everyone's like, Trevor Lawrence is him. He's back. Um, back to what? I don't know. Back to college. Played Indianapolis in week 14. Indy did not have Sauce Gardner in this game. Indy did not have Tre'Davious White in this game. Their top two cornerbacks. Indy did not have DeForest Buckner in that game. Their best defensive lineman. So, you have your three top defensive players out for that game. No wonder why they had a good game. Week 13, they play Tennessee. Awful defense, complete pass funnel. Fourth in EPA per pass allowed, terrible passing defense. Week 12, Arizona, awful pass defense, awful defense overall. Did not have Will Anderson. Like, these are all matchups against terrible defenses. And not only are they bad defenses, they were all without their best players. So, this is like the least surprising slate. You know, this one is obviously a little bit hyperbolic. Like, he never really hits this type of ceiling, but this, the, the slate he's been on does not make me feel good about starting Trevor Lawrence in week 16. All right. So, I'm curious to see how he comes out and performs.
Travis Etienne, massive game. Zay Jones continues to be the wide receiver one here. Brian Thomas Jr. does have a good game, four for 66 and a touchdown, but next week against Denver, I can't imagine ranking him inside the top like 28, 30 wide receivers, if that, because the matchup is going to be so brutal for him. He's just being left outside as the pure X receiver, and he's probably going to see a lot of Pat Surtain in, uh, in that one. Maybe see some Riley Moss, and he gets some deep shots, but I'm sure Riley Moss will probably [ __ ] PI him up and, uh, you won't get any stats for that.
So, we will move ahead to, um, we will move ahead to the next game. Texans at the Cardinals. Speaking of one of the teams that the, uh, Trevor Lawrence passing offense for the Jags played against a terrible, terrible pass defense in Arizona, which led to C.J. Stroud tearing that ass up. Huge game for him. Huge game for Nico Collins. Good game for Dalton Schultz. Jacoby Brissett, another 40 pass attempts, three touchdowns. McBride, Michael Wilson, both really, really eat here. The story of this game as it relates to fantasy football is the running back situation for both teams.
So, Arizona, Bam Knight, who had been the starter for the last month or so of the season, comes in and, uh, sprains his ankle, reportedly badly sprains his ankle. That to me signals a high ankle sprain. It was like one of the first plays of the game for Arizona. He is out for the remainder of the game and likely, based on the reports, is going to be out for the remainder of the season, which leaves the backfield completely to Michael Carter, Amari Demarcado, who someone named Corey Kerr. Um, the split went just all in favor of Michael Carter. He ended up playing on, I think it was like 80% of the snaps, something close to that. Yeah, 80% of the snaps, 70% of the rush attempts, 72% of the routes here. Saw a lot of targets, short down and distance, inside the five, long down, all of it. Now, I think Michael Carter will be, like, Trey Benson's obviously out, assuming Bam Knight's going to be out for at least the next couple weeks. I like Michael Carter as a flex start in PPR leagues for sure. I do think this split here is probably not indicative of what we can expect going forward because this was also Amari Demarcado's first game back from his own high ankle sprain. So, I expect Demarcado to play like the full pass-catching role in this offense once he's a little bit more up to speed and healthy, which will probably continue to trend that way over the next couple of weeks. They do have a great matchup next week against Atlanta at home and then Cincinnati in week 17. So, I kind of think Michael Carter might be my favorite waiver wire pickup of the week at the running back position.
The other side of the ball, we also have an injury to the starting running back. We have Nick Chubb, who's been out with, uh, or he was out for this game with a rib injury that he suffered the week prior. We have Jerome Ford, who left this game like [ __ ] three times. He does that every week, but he ended up leaving this game with an ankle injury. He is reportedly considered week, uh, day-to-day. So, I don't think either of the injuries to Jerome Ford, Nick Chubb are going to hold them out probably into week 16, but they got a great matchup at home against Las Vegas.
Jahwar Jordan is a 26-year-old undrafted free agent out of Louisville. He steps in and plays on the majority of snaps. 15 carries, 101 yards, ends up catching a couple passes. Now, Jahwar Jordan is, uh, kind of undersized, like 195 pounds. Uh, kind of unathletic for his size, not a guy that like should have a lot of success if you're not playing against the Arizona Cardinals. Now they play the Raiders next week. So again, good matchup. But even when the touch counts are kind of skewed like this, there was a clear split in terms of a role. Like Jerome Ford played on 20% of the snaps. Once he left, it was Jordan 44%, Agbabi is the pass catcher, 33%. As you can see, he played in all the actual obvious passing down situations. Long down and distance, two-minute drill, stuff like that. So that will be the split. If Jerome Ford, if Nick Chubb both miss, which I would be shocked if both of them miss next week's game, and I would actually probably say that it's closer that both of them play next week than both of them miss. So, Jahwar Jordan, I think, will be a popular name on the waiver wire this week just due to, uh, the game that he just had. But I would be surprised if those guys miss. Uh, and, and if they, they don't miss, then he's a nothing burger again.
Broncos and Packers. I mean, just a decimated team the Packers turned into on Sunday. The Broncos end up winning this game 34-26. They're 7-0 at home, 12-2 on the year, their record. Um, Josh Jacobs played out of his mind in this one. 12 for 73 on the ground. Touchdown. Also caught that ridiculous. He just mossed the dude in the back of the end zone. So, he ended up, despite looking like he was going to be super questionable going to the game, having a huge game for fantasy owners. The receiver room, the defense, everything. So, we have Zack Tom, their star tackle, gets hurt in this game. They have Micah Parsons tear his ACL, so he's out for the remainder of the year. Uh, they had Quay Walker get hurt in this game. I think he's probably week-to-week at this point. They had, um, someone else got hurt as well. Like, everybody's [ __ ] hurt. Christian Watson. Sorry, that wasn't even who I was talking about. Someone else got hurt. And then also Christian Watson. So, the fear with Christian Watson, he had this like, uh, it was like a go ball. Came down really hard on his chest shoulder. Ended up being taken to the hospital. Most of the Twitter doctors are like, "When you get taken to the hospital for an injury like that, you're thinking, you know, fractured clavicle or you're thinking an SC sprain, which is like what Hollywood Brown had last year with Tyreek Hill had a couple years ago. It's a very, very, very serious injury if you don't treat it right away and usually leads to a very long absence. However, went to the hospital and then it turns out he avoided any serious injury. And there were a couple reports that said that he could be back as soon as next week. They play at Chicago. So, uh, I think he's probably 50/50. He's probably day-to-day, week-to-week in that range.
In his absence, that would mean Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs kind of take over as the real one and two there if Watson is out. Dontayvion Wicks had a little bit of a spike game here. Tied Jayden Reed with 55 receiving yards. However, he's still playing on just like 40% of their [ __ ] snaps. So, yeah, I'm not trusting that whatsoever. Where are the Outback Packers? Yeah. So, this was the route participation in week 15. Dontayvion Wicks led the team as usual. Jayden Reed up to 67%. Watson was 41% before getting hurt. Wicks and Dontayvion Wicks still sub 50%. You, you obviously want to hold Jayden Reed. You want to start him as like a strong wide receiver three if Watson's out. Doubs, I think that's interesting again. He's been terrible the last like six weeks since Watson has taken over as the one. But before Watson came back, Doubs was a really, really solid fantasy player, uh, and target for the Green Bay Packers. So, no Tucker Kraft. If Watson is out, Doubs could be talked into in like a flex appeal type of way. Um, did not have Jayden Reed on the field for for those games that he did have good games for. So, I don't want to get like over the hill on him, but yeah, uh, definitely needs to be picked up there.
Flip side, Bix played awesome. RJ Harvey gets into the end zone again. He hurt his ribs a bit in this game, so we'll have to wait on reports for RJ Harvey. I don't think it's overly serious and even if he's out, like there's no one in this backfield that I actually want to play or start. Courtland Sutton, big game. Pat Freiermuth was out for this one. So, Troy Franklin stepped up. Little Jordan Humphrey had a big game. So, yeah, good, good to see the Broncos really, uh, clap them cheeks. They got a tough matchup at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars defense though in week 16.
Rams, Lions, another [ __ ] awesome game here. Uh, the Lions get home through the air as they have been the last, you know, forever many weeks. Uh, it's just Amon-Ra and J-Mo Williams just dominating targets, dominating production, touchdowns, all that good stuff. Jahmyr Gibbs, really, really down game. He's actually been, he's actually had a lot of, not a lot, but he's had like a decent amount of flop games. It's kind of weird. You wouldn't think so. His ceiling is as high as anyone in fantasy, but he does have like a lot of random games where he just has like 50 yards and this was just one of them unfortunately.
Uh, other side of things, I mean, the big takeaway here is that Davante Adams reinjures his hamstring. It's something he's been dealing with for the last couple weeks. He misses practice and then ends up playing and ends up fine, but he ran a go ball. He ran a go route and pulled up limp, obviously, and it didn't look good. And they play on Thursday night. So, I would say there's like a 90% chance that Adams does not play on Thursday night. Um, and I think there's like a relatively good chance he misses multiple weeks, if not into the playoffs, because that's obviously when they're going to need him. They're 11 and three. They've locked up a playoff spot. Um, that's tough though, because the Rams play at Seattle. You know, it's a tough matchup in week 16, and, uh, Stafford struggled a bit against Seattle their first time around. Davante, that was the game Davante Adams had one catch on eight targets and it was just that single touchdown for one yard, I believe. So, we'll see. Uh, we'll see how the passing offense can kind of come together. If it's Puka putting up 1,000 yards again like he did in this one, 181, or if it's Colby Parkinson, you know, they're running those, those three tight end sets at such a high rate. Colby Parkinson had a massive game in this one. Five for 75, two touchdowns. I think if Davante Adams is out, Colby Parkinson becomes, um, an interesting streaming candidate at the tight end position. You know, it's easy to say now, look back and be like, "Oh, Colby Parkinson." But it's had a lot of floor games too. Um, so, you know, Seattle's a good matchup for tight ends. Uh, actually, you know, you don't think of them as a good matchup for pretty much any offensive player, but I do think, uh, against tight ends, they can kind of be had there a little bit.
Uh, backfield more split between Kyren and Blake Corum. Both of them look really, really good. And, uh, I think they're both like relatively flex-worthy going forward. Kyren Williams, obviously, you want to start him over Blake Corum. He had a pretty good game against Seattle last time they played despite Seattle having a really strong run defense. Blake Corum absolutely flopped out. So, you know, I obviously look at Kyren Williams as like an RB2. Blake Corum as like a flex play if you need to against Seattle.
Saints, Panthers. Panthers continue to lose against the Saints, somehow. Um, yeah, just a, a bad game from the Panthers offense. They tried to to ride Rico Dowdle. 16 for 49 on the ground. Does get into the end zone, so saves his fantasy day. Jonathan Coker has a pretty good game. Four, uh, four catches, four targets, 60 yards, and a touchdown. He's, he's become like a real playmaker in this offense right now and someone that should probably be owned given the Carolina Panthers play at home against Tampa Bay next week. Uh, the backfield was a little bit more Rico favored than I thought it would be. I thought it would be like a drive-by-drive thing and maybe it was actually. I don't have clarification on that, but I think Rico ended up playing probably around 55 to 60% of the snaps despite it being a near even split post or pre-bye. Um, so yeah, I think their game plan was just like, we really want to establish the run, and when they do that, it's more Rico than it is Chuba.
On the flip side, Tyler Allgeier has another good game, man. I think he's really setting up to be the starter for next year. Strong fantasy outing. Again, I think he can absolutely be streamed going forward. They play the New York Jets next week and then the Tennessee Titans the week after that. Now, biggest takeaway here would be Devin Singletary. Devin Singletary has been dominating touches in this backfield, snaps, opportunities, ends up leaving the game with a hamstring injury. Gets ruled out around halftime. Does not return, which kind of signals it's, wasn't really like a tweak, more of like a real strain, which means he's probably going to be out for week 16, if not multiple weeks, probably the end of the regular fantasy season for you. And again, that matchup slate was the Jets at home and Tennessee. So, strong matchups here.
What that does to the backfield makes it really messy because we've had Alvin Kamara out for the, uh, the last three weeks. He hasn't practiced, so I have no idea if he's close to returning, but I would say based on his injury, he's probably on track to return either this week or the week after that. So, if he's back, he's obviously the one. In Devin Singletary's absence, it was Audric Estime and Evan Hull. Two guys that like most people probably did not even know were on this roster prior to the season. Uh, Estime was actually picked up midway through the season, but this is how the snaps split up. You have Estime 39%, Evan Hull 31%. Ironically, Audric Estime played like the passing down role. Ran 37% of routes. Uh, long down and distance was him. Two-minute drill was him despite them being like complete opposite type of skill sets. Like Audric Estime is 5'11, like 225 pounds, pretty [ __ ] slow, like ran a 4.7, was not a premier pass catcher in college. Evan Hull is like 5'10, runs a 4.440, really athletic, big-time pass catcher at Northwestern in college. Like, you would think the roles are split, which is what makes me like a little bit hesitant to really pinpoint what these guys' roles are going to be next week against the Jets. It does feel like if Devin Singletary and Kamara miss, this will be a split backfield. Whereas, like the first 15 weeks, it was like almost all Kamara, almost all Devin Singletary when he got hurt. So, it was like we had a workhorse, but I'm not, I don't feel great about that. I would, I would rather own Estime than Evan Hull because I think Estime is probably built more so for the goal line. I also think the fact that they used him in a pass-catching role tells me that they think he could play that role and that might be the case going forward. So I think he's got more upside. Um, but I think both of them are quite risky even in a great [ __ ] matchup against the New York Jets if both Kamara and Devin Singletary end up missing.
Moving to the Niners at the Titans. The Niners just beat up on weak opponents. They're really good at that. They, they almost never play down to their opponents. Sometimes they can't beat the good teams, but they almost always dominate the, uh, the bad teams, and that's what they did here. Good to see Ricky Pearsall kind of pop off. Six for 96 in this one, though. I believe he tweaked his knee a bit at the end of the game. So, we'll have to keep an eye on practice reports for that because, uh, that would open things up for Jauan Jennings again to have a monster week against Indianapolis next week. We'll see if DeForest Buckner and/or Sauce Gardner can return to the Colts defense next week. Uh, but if not, it's wheels up for Brock Purdy and them boys.
Um, flip side, another good game for Tony Pollard. 14 for 104 and a touchdown. This is just not a good San Francisco defense. Obviously, Tennessee plays Kansas City next week and then New Orleans the week after that. So, I don't know if I really want to start Tony Pollard against Kansas City next week, but if you're going to ride the hot hand, this is one of the hotter ones in the NFL at this point.
Seahawks, Colts. We had the return of Philip Rivers. Uh, 27 pass attempts, 120 yards. Listen, I think he, he did his job. He did his [ __ ] job. Led him to a field goal drive with like 45 seconds left. Could have won the game, but the defense could not stop Sam Darnold on the final drive of the game. As expected, 25 carries for Jonathan Taylor in this one. Uh, always going to go run heavy with Philip Rivers under center. Uh, it was like run, pass, every single drive, which killed all the pass catchers here. Not a surprising, um, outcome for any of their fantasy days. Obviously, Seattle's a very, very tough matchup. So, when they play against what did I say? San Fran next week. Yeah, at home against San Francisco next week, not having to travel. Uh, lighter defense, maybe we'll see better things.
Now, interesting report came out today that Anthony Richardson was cleared for, uh, was medically cleared and they do expect him to return to the team. Had the orbital fracture mid-October. I don't know what this actually means for Anthony Richardson, for the Indianapolis Colts, like when he's going to get back under center. I would imagine that, you know, with Daniel Jones and the Achilles, like they definitely want to see Anthony Richardson back on the field at, uh, in 2025. I, I'd imagine he's going to start at least one game, if not the next three games, if he can get back onto the field, get conditioned, and they feel like he's ready to go. I don't know if that's the case. So, what I will say is if Anthony Richardson's under center, uh, I feel so much better about Jonathan Taylor because if you remember the last four weeks, five weeks of last year, Jonathan Taylor went crazy and a lot of that was with Anthony Richardson under center. So, I feel much better about him. I don't feel that much better about the weapons there. I think like there are games to be had. We saw big games from Josh Downs last year. Tyler Warren's good. Like we saw some ceiling gains from the players, um, when Richardson was under center. It's obviously going to be a much higher ceiling than Philip Rivers there statistically, but Richardson also, like, if you're in a Superflex league, this is a guy who has top five ceiling capabilities any given week here. Um, so, interesting for Indy. Obviously, keep a very close eye on practice reports, but it does sound like they're optimistic about Richardson after being cleared medically and I'd imagine he's going to return like if not this week, then next week against Jacksonville. So, you know, pick him up if you're in a Superflex league. I don't know if I want to trot him out there in a one-quarterback league, but, you know, if you could do worse then, then maybe, uh, then maybe throw him in.
Flip side, no real takeaways. Rashi Higgins did play more snaps than Cooper Kupp in this one, but ain't no one starting Rashi Higgins in their fantasy playoffs. Charbonnet and Kenneth Walker continue to be a [ __ ] waste back there. Um, JSN, seven for one thing. Good game. Whatever. Whatever.
Vikings, Cowboys, Sunday Night Football. J.J. McCarthy, good game, man. 252 touchdowns. Gets in on the ground as well. Uh, Justin Jefferson continues to do [ __ ] a nothing burger for your fantasy team. Unfortunately, as many times as we could say, "Oh, they got a good matchup." They got another one at the New York Giants and then they get Detroit at home in week 17. Stain. So, I'm not going to say nothing about Jefferson. Y'all make that [ __ ] decision. I don't know what to do with him at this very point right now.
Uh, look at the backfield between Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason. To me, I mean, Aaron Jones just brings a little something something to the table that Jordan Mason doesn't. He's a little bit more of a violent runner, but yeah, Jones played 61% of the snaps, Jordan Mason 35%, had more rush attempts, had more routes. He's the guy back there for sure. But when they do get inside the five-yard line, it does seem like it probably will not be Aaron Jones shoving the ball up the middle there. Good matchups on deck, though.
So, flip side, we have Dak Prescott. Uh, you know, their playoff chances are basically dashed now. Javonte Williams, 15 for 911 on the ground. Did leave the game. Almost missed the entire, like, second half of the first half with some arm injury, but returned after halftime. So, Malik Davis should be rostered. Just a high-end handcuff right now, though. I don't think Javonte Williams' injury is any, uh, worry about like lingering into week 16 or anything like that. CeeDee Lamb, a good game. L.J. Rhymes somehow outproduces George Pickens. I don't really know what to make of George Pickens right now. It's like he doesn't [ __ ] want a contract next year. They play the Chargers at home next week, which is a tough secondary matchup. Uh, but they do get Washington in week 17, which is beautiful. So, if their hopes are still alive, you'll get great matchups for Lamb and Pickens in week 17. Uh, week 16, a little bit less optimistic. But listen, I think at the end of the day, you still have to start Dak, you still have to start Javonte, you still have to start CeeDee Lamb. And then given what George Pickens has done up to this point in the year, I don't see a world where you're sitting that man. Um, and I believe, yeah, I believe that is it for the games on the week.
