Hey, what's up YouTube family? It's Pastor KJ from Radiant Church, and I'm so excited for you to join us for today's sermon. We have such a powerful sermon in store. I believe it's going to strengthen you, challenge you, and encourage you. So get ready for this message.

The title of my sermon is "I Am Resurrection." "I Am Resurrection." Now, I'm not saying I'm Resurrection, but I'm saying Jesus is Resurrection. He said He is Resurrection. So let's define Resurrection. Uh, to resurrect simply means to come back to life again. Come on. To resurrect means to come back to life again. Yes. So when Jesus says, "I am the Resurrection," He's saying, "I can come back to life again. I can bring things back to life again. I can take what's dead and make it live again. I could take what's broke and make it whole again. I could take what's bearing and make it fruitful again." I am Resurrection.
So Jesus is Resurrection. So before we unlock how Jesus is Resurrection, I have a question for you: What has died in your life that needs to be resurrected? What has died in your life that needs to be resurrected? Because when we're children, society and our parents, they kill so many things on the inside of us. Just think, when you were a kid, like, you were limitless. Like, "I want to be an astronaut." Then you grow up, "I just want to work anywhere that'll hire me." It's like, like the wonder was snatched out of us. The thrill, the faith, the belief. It was all stripped. It was all stripped out of us because of what we've been through, the trials of life, the pain of life. What? And and and maybe, maybe some of those things you didn't suppose to do. But what did God put in you that's been stripped away? What did God call you to say that's been silenced and muted? What has died in you that needs a resurrection? And I want you to know that Jesus is Resurrection. Come on.
Some of you ladies are like, "My heart's been broke, and I can never trust a God again." You need Resurrection. Some of you guys say, "No one ever loved me because they never do." You need Resurrection. "Something's going to go wrong at this church because every time I go somewhere and it's good, something goes wrong." You need Resurrection. Some of you guys are bitter, frustrated, and mad at people. You need resurrection. And I got good news. Jesus don't. Jesus doesn't only provide Resurrection. Jesus is Resurrection. If you have your Bibles, go to John chapter 11. This is going to be good today, guys. Short and sweet. John chapter 11. When you guys there, say, "Ready." No, you're not. John chapter 11. It says, "On his arrival, Jesus found Lazarus found that Lazarus has been dead in the tomb for four days." So, little backdrop, before Lazarus died, his sisters, Mary and Martha, they told Jesus to come heal him because they watched their friend Jesus heal everybody. And instead of going to heal Lazarus, Jesus took His His sweet old time. Sweet time. He did not go and heal Lazarus. And Lazarus has been dead for four days. Imagine if Jesus was your friend, and you had a sibling, and you asked your friend Jesus, who'd be eating all your chicken wings, to simply come and pray for your sibling, and they will be alive. And now your sibling's died. And then four days after your sibling's been dead, Jesus shows up. Imagine how you would feel.
Okay, so it says, "Lazarus had already been dead in the tomb for four days." Now, Bethany was less than two miles from Jerusalem, and many Jews had come to Mary and Martha to comfort, comfort them in the loss of their brother. When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet Him. Mary stayed at home. "Um, Lord," Martha said to Jesus, "if You had been here, my brother would not have died." So, if you would have got here on time, if you wasn't tardy, Jesus, my brother wouldn't have died. But I know that even now, God will give You whatever You ask." Look at that faith. "Jesus said to her, 'Your brother will rise again.'" Martha answered, "I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day." Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die. And whoever lives by believing in Me will never die. Do you believe this?"
So, so let me just kind of give you some context of of kind of what went down here. So Jesus was tardy to come and heal Lazarus. So He was tardy to come. And here's the problem: Lazarus has been dead for four days. And the reason why the four days was pointed out is after three days, three was the number of completion. So someone died, long as they came back before three days, it wasn't considered unclean. But after you passed over the three-day mark and you've been dead for four days, it's like, "Okay, that's dead dead. Unclean. Can't come back. To tell you it's finished. No more." And and and isn't that just like Jesus to come when there's no chance of Resurrection, when it's unclean, when it's messy, when it's dirty, when everything is bad? Isn't it just like Jesus to show up then? And I love the Bible. Like, see, you guys got to bear with me because I don't just read the Bible, I jump in the Bible and put myself in the pages, okay? So I love Jesus. So Jesus comes. And when Jesus comes, the Bible is so hilarious. It said that Martha went to meet Jesus. So she heard, "Okay, Jesus is coming." Then they said, "But Mary stayed home." Got to see, Mary was that ghetto sister. She was like, "He didn't let my brother die. I ain't meeting Jesus. I ain't meeting Jesus. You know he going to come over here to the house. He ain't get no chicken. He ain't get no banana pudding. He ain't get nothing. He going to come apologize to me. He didn't let my brother die." Yeah. And Martha was that that that graceful, like, "Well, I'm just going to go meet him anyway and hear his side." "I don't need to hear nothing. Lazarus is dead." So she stayed at home. She's like, "I ain't meeting Jesus. He should have met us four days ago before Lazarus died." So Martha, she goes and she meets Jesus. And she did go off on him. She was like, "If You had been here, my brother wouldn't have died. He wouldn't have died." And there are so many times in our life we feel like, "Jesus, if you had come sooner, that wouldn't have died. Had you come sooner, I wouldn't have went through that pain. Had you came sooner, I wouldn't have got my heart broke. Had you came sooner, I wouldn't have went through the struggles. Had you came sooner, all these things wouldn't have happened." Jesus, why are you just now showing up? Why are you tardy? Why didn't you come sooner?
And a lot of times, we look at the dead things in our life and we ask God, "Why wasn't He here earlier? Where were You at in my childhood, Jesus? Where were You when they were abusing me? Where were You when they were betraying me? Where were You when they were standing against me? Where were You when I was hungry? Where were You when I had need, Jesus? Where were You?" And she was frustrated because she knew Jesus, and Jesus was her friend. And just like He's our friend, sometimes it just feels like God isn't there on time. And sometimes we feel like God shows up late. And there's things that die. There's things that die. But Martha had enough faith to say, "But I know even now, I know even now that God responds to you and He answers you. So whatever you ask, I know God can still do it." There was a part of her, I I don't even think she understood what she was saying because after she said that, she contradicted herself. But I believe that faith speaks. And there was a faith inside of her saying that, "Even though it looks like it's finished, even though it looks like it's dead, even though it looks like the curse can't be reversed, I know that God responds and listens to you." And I want you to know something: Even if you don't see a way out of your situation, even if you don't see a way to pay your bill, even if you don't see a way out of that abusive relationship, God responds to Jesus, and Jesus is with you. And it's not over yet. It's not too late. It's not too late.
And then Jesus told her, Jesus spoke. He said, "Girl, your brother will rise again." And she said, "I know, in the last day, after the resurrection." Jesus said, "You still missed it. Resurrection isn't a day. Resurrection is a Man. Resurrection is not an event. Resurrection is a purpose in a person." He's saying, "I want to tell you something, Martha. You're looking for a Resurrection Day. You have a Resurrection Man. You're looking for a Resurrection Day. You have a resurrecting God. You're looking for a resurrection day. I am Resurrection." Which means we don't have to wait on the calendar to see Resurrection. Where Jesus is present, Resurrection is possible. I am Resurrection. And I want to preach to you after 9:30. I don't know what's dead in your life or died in your heart. But where Jesus is present, Resurrection is possible. We're not looking for a resurrection day because we serve a resurrecting God. If you say you serve a resurrecting God, oh, give Him a 10-second praise break in this place! Hallelujah! I don't have to wait on the Resurrection Day when I serve a resurrecting God.
So He was saying, "No, no, no, no. You missed it. Your brother will rise again." Then He, other, He said, "I am the Resurrection and I am the Life." He was telling her that, "I am Resurrection, which means anything I want to resurrect, I can. Anything I want to resurrect." And I don't know what needs to be resurrected in your life. But I want you to know something about Jesus: He is Resurrection. Which means He is literally the definition of bringing dead things back to life. That's who He is. Then He says, "To give you even more, so you can know how much Resurrection I am, I am the Life." In other words, He's saying, "The reason why I'm Resurrection is because I'm Life. And because I'm Life, nothing dead can be attached to Me. So the moment you attach to Me, what's dead has to come back to life because Life is what I am. There is no death in Me." So if your finances is dead, when you attach your money to Me, they got to come back to life. If your faith is is dead, when you attach it to Me, it got to come back to life. If your marriage is dead, when you attach it to Me, it has to come back to life. Because I am the Life and there is no death in Me. Which means if you're speaking death, it ain't connected to Jesus. If you're experiencing death, it ain't connected to Jesus. If you're having death, it ain't connected to Jesus. Because anything connected to Jesus goes from black to white, goes from death to life, goes from wrong to right, goes from brokenness to holiness. So come on, somebody. We serve Resurrection. Jesus said, "I don't do it. I am it. I am the Resurrection. I'm Resurrection."
So I don't know what has died and I don't know how long it's been dead. And maybe you feel like it stinks and it's too late to turn it around. But you serve Resurrection. And then all of a sudden, Lazarus is dead. And I didn't read this part, but you can go back and read it. And then Jesus shows up. And Jesus says, "Roll back the stone." And I think many of us don't see Resurrection in our life is because we're too afraid to roll back the stone. And what is the stone? The stone is the thing that covers what died. Yeah. And for many of us, for many of us, we have mechanisms that cover us. We have, we're afraid to see our pain. We're afraid to see our ugly. We're afraid to see our messy. We're afraid to see our storms. We're afraid to see our shortcomings. So we cover it with stones. And God can never get to your heart because it's been covered in stones. God can never get to your brokenness because it's been covered with stones. God can't get to your sexuality because it's been covered with stones. And God is saying, "If healing is going to take place, and if Resurrection is going to take place, you're going to have to roll back the stone so I can see what's died and I can touch what's died and I can speak to what's died." But Jesus can't speak to what's died if a stone's in the way. So Jesus said, "Roll back the stone." And some of you guys need to roll back the stone. What are you holding in front of your brokenness? Yeah, you got that smell, but that smell is just a stone. Yeah, you got that makeup, but it's just a stone. Yeah, you got that Facebook status, but it's just a stone. And Jesus said, "Until you can be real in the presence of God, that's the only time you can be healed in the presence of God. Because I can't heal who you pretend to be. I can only heal who you actually are. I can't heal your mask, but I can heal your face. I can't heal your shirt, but I can heal your heart. Roll back the stone."
And then they rolled back the stone. And sometimes we, we get transparent with God, we get open, and we roll back the stone. But then it was one step further. He said, "Unwrap his grave clothes." Unwrap the grave clothes. And I think another reason why we don't see Resurrection is because the resurrector has instruction that we violate. He said, "Roll." He said, "Unwrap his grave clothes." What does that symbolize? He's saying that, "Take everything off of that situation that affirms this condition." See, those grave clothes confirm Lazarus' death. Jesus said, "I can't bring Resurrection when things on him can affirming and affirming his death. I need you to remove everything that's affirming that condition so I can reverse that condition." So some of you guys got things affirming your pornography, and He can't break it off. You got things affirming your brokenness, affirming your depression, affirming your anxiety. And Jesus is saying, "If I'm going to bring Resurrection, you got to unwrap the grave. You got to unwrap the grave clothes. You have to unlock and unwrap the grave clothes." And then all of a sudden, when the grave clothes was unwrapped, all of a sudden, now Jesus can do Resurrection. And Jesus, He comes and He says, "Lazarus, come forth." And the reason why He had to say Lazarus is because if He would have said, "Come forth," everybody would have got him like a Thriller video. I mean, everybody would have just been, it would have been Thriller all over again. So He had to be very specific. He is Resurrection. So if He said, "Come forth," everything dead getting up. So He was specific. "Lazarus, come forth." And Lazarus came forth.
And this is the same thing with your situation. This is the process. The first thing you have to have is faith to know that Jesus said it will rise again. The second thing you have to do is roll away the stone. And the third thing you have to do is unwrap the grave clothes. You have to unwrap them. So Jesus is saying, "Hey, I am Resurrection. I can reverse the curse. I can break the chain." Jesus can break the chains of bondage. He can break the yokes of bondage. He is Resurrection. He is Resurrection.
So I'm going to, I'm going to show you something. Uh, Jesus said, "Whoever believes in Me, though they die, they'll live again." So He's saying, "Even though you die, you still live if you believe in Me." Wow. Like, I'm so Resurrection that when you believe in Me, you're not only dead no more, you're like dead alive. Like it don't even make sense. And then Jesus went one further. He said, "If you believe in Me, you'll never taste death." Well, well, how is that true? Because people die all the time. So if Jesus said, "If I believe Him, I never taste death," how do people die? Jesus is saying, "Hey, I got a deeper life than the life life you can comprehend." See, you're comprehending a physical life. I have a spiritual life. You will never die spiritually. It's one thing to die physically. It's another thing to die spiritually. And Jesus said, "If you are connected to Me, you would never die spiritually. Even when your body dies, you don't. You just go from one era to another era. You pass over from from life to Heaven, not life to death. From life to Heaven. You actually leave regular life to abundant life when you die when you're in Jesus." So He's saying, "Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. In the physical, though you die, you'll live again. And He's saying in the spiritual, you will never die." That's how much Resurrection I am. That's how much power I have. That's how much life I bring. Can we give Him a shout of praise? Is it okay with you guys if I go deeper?
If you go to, if you have your Bibles, go to John chapter 19. John chapter 19. You guys enjoying this? Yes. John chapter 19. John 19, verse 40. It says, "Then they took the body of Jesus." So here we have this person that's talking about He's Resurrection, and you will never die if you're connected to Him. Now we have Resurrection looking dead. We have who told you you would never die looking dead. Wow. "Then they took the body of Jesus and bound it in strips of linen with spices, the preserve his body at the custom of the Jews is to, as the custom of the Jews is to bury first." Verse 41: "Now in the place where He was crucified, there was a garden. And in the garden, a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid. So there they laid Jesus because of the Jews' preparation day, for the tomb was nearby."
Now, if you have your Bibles, let's go to verse, I mean, John chapter 20. We're going to jump down a little bit. John 20, verse 11. It says, "But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping." And this is when she, she, Jesus' body was no longer in the tomb. So, so Mary Magdalene, she's standing there, she's weeping because Jesus' body's gone. And as she wept, she stooped down and looked into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white, sitting one at the head and the other at the feet where the body of Jesus had laid. Verse 13: "Then they said to her, 'Woman, why are you weeping?' She said to them, 'Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.'" So I'm crying because my God is gone. He's not in His tomb. Where have they laid Him? Now, when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?" She, supposing Him to be a gardener, said, "Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take and I will take Him away."
So let me break this down. The Bible. Let me tell you, your Bible is an extraordinary book. And when you understand your Bible, and God gives you wisdom to truly see it and unlock it, it's like nothing you never imagined. Every word is inspired by God. Every word is intentional. Every word is detail. And everything is preaching. And the scriptures are pregnant, which means when you read the Bible, there's the context and and and there's the plot of it. But when you dissect the Bible and you connect the Bible, and the scriptures, it begins to unra a deep unveil a deeper revelation. And this is probably one of the most prophetic bodies of scriptures I've ever read to you. So let me show you the prophecy and the beauty and the splendor of this scripture. You guys listening in? Okay, check this out. So who said you would never die is now laying dead. He is crucified. And as He's crucified, the Bible thought that it should mention that there was a garden by His crucifixion. Then the Bible said where His tomb was laid, it was inside of a garden. And Mary Magdalene was prophesying, and she had no idea because when she looked at Jesus, she thought He was a gardener. Girl, you was correct. He is a gardener. He was trying to tell us, child, I turn graves into gardens. I turn graves into gardens. I turn graves into gardens. He was saying, "Though you're looking at my crucifixion, there's a garden behind this. Though you're looking at a grave, there's a garden attached to this." He said, "Let me tell you something. This is not a grave site. This is a garden site." Because inside of a grave, things stay dead. Inside of a garden, things out of the ground and they live again. Jesus said, "I wasn't going to stay dead. I was going to pop out the ground and live again. I wasn't going to stay dead. I was coming back up again. I wasn't going to stay dead. I was coming back in three days." So whenever you see a grave, you better look again because I'm turning that grave into a garden. And I'm telling you, maybe you have a lot of graves around you and a lot of dead things around you. But Jesus said, "I'm turning that grave into a garden. I'm turning that brokenness into wholeness. What was taken from you will be brought back." And graves and gardens look the same at first. But one is, one is designed to restrain you. Another is designed to release you. One is designed to rob you. Another is designed to enrich you. One is designed to keep you, and another is designed to launch you. Come on. Same dirt, different outcome. And God is saying, "I have news for you, child of God. And the news I have for you is, you wasn't buried, you was planted." And I know you feel like you was buried in that marriage, but you was planted. I know you felt buried at that job, but you was planted. I know you felt buried in that childhood, but you was planted. And the difference between being buried and planted is when you're planted, you will rise again. And and planted looks the same because both of them has to go through dirt. So I know you're going through dirt right now. You feel like you are buried. Both of them is really dark. And I know it's dark around you, and darkness is surrounding you, and you feel like you are buried. Oh, but child of God, you're not buried. You are planted. God is saying, "I'm allowing this dirt to be on you because this dirt is enriching you to rise again." No, no, no, no, no. You're missing it. He said, "No, no, no. You weren't going to be castigated. No, no, no. You was about to be crowned. You was about to be released. All the disrespect you went through, you're about to be honored. All the pain and brokenness, you're about to be released in new oil and new wine and new purpose and new destiny and new calling. No, no, you're not going to be walking in sorrow. You're about to be soaring because I turn graves into gardens. I turn graves into gardens." Gardens.
So what is a garden? A garden, yes, is actually a resurrection. That's what a garden is. You take a seed, you plant it in the ground, it dies, and it comes back a plant. That's right. Come on now. Speak that word. Speak that word. Speak that word. So what was the Resurrection? The Resurrection was, you took a lamb, you planted it in the ground, and it popped out a savior. Come on. Come on. See, Jesus was saying, "The reason why I turn graves into gardens is because I'm seed." I'm seed. Well, let me just show you. I'm using your Bible because you're like, "Okay, all this just fits together too good. Where's the scripture?" Jesus, they, He was talking about His death. He said, "Unless, unless a kernel of grain falls to the ground and dies, it can't give birth and produce much wheat." He said, "When I fall to the ground and die as a seed, I'm going to die as one Son of God, and I'm going to reproduce billions of sons of God." Only a garden can take a seed and turn it into a harvest. You are the harvest of God because Jesus was the seed of God. My God. Your harvest because Jesus was seed. Your harvest because Jesus was seed. And in order for Jesus to be seen, He had to turn the grave into a garden.
So, so, so Jesus is saying, "A garden is a place of Resurrection. A garden is a place where things resurrect, where things come back to life, where things resurrect and things come back to life." And I want you to know that God is going to bring some things back to life in your life. Your calling may have been buried. No, it wasn't buried. It was just planted. Your business may have been buried. No, it wasn't buried. It was just just planted. Your faith may have been buried. No, it wasn't buried. It was just planted.
So then Jesus extends the analogy. He extends it. When we was reading the offering message earlier, it said Jesus was the firstborn from the grave. The firstborn from the grave. So He was the firstborn from the grave, or He was the firstborn from the tomb. Well, I don't see how that's possible because nothing is born from tombs. Could it be what you're calling a tomb is actually a womb? Because if Jesus is the firstborn from the dead, to be born, you're not born out of tombs, you're born out of wombs. And God says, "I want you to know that pain you went through, that betrayal you went through, that hurt you went through, it wasn't your tomb. It was actually your womb." Jesus said, "He's going to use that pain to birth you. He's going to use that breakdown to birth you. He's going to use that rejection to birth you. He's going to use that fear to birth you." Everything that came against you, He's going to use it to birth you. Because sometimes our greatest purpose comes from our greatest pain. Yeah. He is using it to birth you. And the crucifixion was only designed to birth resurrection. And if you've been crucified in any area of your life, that crucifixion was designed to give birth to resurrection. That pain, that shortcoming, what you didn't have, it wasn't a tomb. It was a womb. It was your birthing place. It was your blastoff place. And this is the miraculous power of your God. He says, "I am Resurrection. I turn tombs into wombs. I turn graves into gardens. What looks like is buried is really planted."
And we see the miracle-working power all throughout, all throughout the Bible. There's a song about this. Jesus says, "Hey, I turn seas into highways." Maybe you're in front of a sea and you can't walk past. I can turn that sea into a highway. Yeah. I turn seas into highways. Have anybody ever had needed the resurrecting power of God? Have you had a sea in front of you? Maybe something big and grand that you couldn't walk through, get through, and you felt surrounded. And God says, "I will cause you to walk on dry ground in wet areas." That some of you guys are standing before grand seas, and any enemy armies are behind you, and a sea is in front of you. And Jesus says, "If I get involved, I can turn that sea into a highway, and you can walk on dry ground." God says, "I don't care what's wet around you. You can walk on dry ground." And some of you guys haven't had a break. Some of you guys have been through so much. You've been left. You've been broken up with. You've been hurt. You've been marginalized. And Jesus said, "I'm about to turn seas around you into dry ground so you can put your feet on dry ground, so you can walk on solid ground, so you can walk on holy ground." I turn seas into highways. Jesus is saying, "I am going to turn what came against you and work it out and turn it for your good." Good. I'm turning it for your good. So you need a perspective shift. You need a perspective shift. Because you need to understand that the reason why Jesus even allowed graves is to just kick the devil in the chin. Because soon as you connect with Him, immediately that grave flips and it becomes a garden. He turns seas into highways. You can walk on dry ground.
I want you to know something. I feel like there's some of God in this room, and you just been hurt. You've been used. You've been abused. You've been came against. You've been lied to. And now you're standing, and you're like, "I can never love again. I can never trust again. I can't believe again." And the Lord is saying, "No, no, no, darling. You will love again. You will trust again. You will believe again. You will hope again. Because I am bringing what's dead back to life. Your ability to trust, to love, to be loved, is coming back out the ground. It's coming back." And then the Bible says that whenever a thief steals something, he has to return it sevenfold. Which means when the devil robbed you, he was enriching you because now you have sevenfold. I get sevenfold peace, sevenfold joy, sevenfold love, sevenfold trust. And I was looking at the devil as a breaker, and I didn't know he was a broker. Because I'm investing inside of my faith when I connect with the devil because he's making me stronger. He's enriching me because I'm getting sevenfold peace, sevenfold joy, sevenfold hope, sevenfold the anointing, sevenfold your oil. Sevenfold. Devil, you're not a breaker. You're a broker. You work for God. On your best day, our God turns graves into gardens. And He allows the devil to come and look like he's burying you, but he's really planting you. And the crazy thing is, God has this thing where it's actually better that Satan comes. Uh, the, the, the grave, the garden that was first, the grave yields better than the one that was always a grave. It's better that Satan comes. Yeah, it's better. I'm telling you, there, it's, it's one thing to see a woman that's always been whole. But it's a different thing to see a woman that's been broken and been in hell's kitchen and redeemed and restored. And when she prays, heaven shakes because she knows where she came from, and she knows who brought her out, and she knows what is possible and what's capable, and she knows what Resurrection is because she didn't read about Resurrection. She didn't see Resurrection. She lived Resurrection. Oh, come on. Is there any women of God in this room that can testify to the goodness of God?
If you have your Bibles, go to Ezekiel 37. It says, "The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the spirit of the Lord and set me down in the midst of the valley, and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in an open valley, and indeed they were very dry." When the Bible says something very dry, it's dry. And He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" So I answered, "Man, this is a wise answer. Oh, Lord God, You know." When you don't know what to say to God, just say, "God, You know." You know, I don't even know. Some of y'all be like, "Yeah, Jesus knows." No, just, "Lord, You know." Only You know. Again, He said to me, "Prophesy to these and say to them, 'Oh, dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.'" Thus says the Lord God to these bones, "Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live." Can I, my gentlemen, come up? Can I, my gentlemen, come up?
So as you guys come up, you guys can just get on stage, spread out a little bit. So He turns seas into highways, and He also turns bones into into armies. He turns bones, dry bones, into armies. So as these gentlemen are on stage at a point, and we're, we're, we're in that point of the story where everything was alive. They're alive. Everything is good. We don't need a resurrection. They're alive. But then, guys, I'm going to need you guys to do me a favor. I'm going to need you to die. But not a regular death. I need you to die dramatically. Like, like you got shot. Like someone took your arm off. I need you to dry die dramatically. Like, like on the floor. Hit the stairs. Like, like die. Come on.
One tried to come back to life. So, so now we're going to fast forward one year, two years, five years, 10 years. These bones been dead a long time, man. That's some dry bones right there, man. I mean, just dead. It's in the valley. Just dead. Just dry bones. I mean, just, just gone bones. Dry. They're dead. So then now, and then now He's having a conversation with God. Ezekiel, he's here. He's having a conversation with God. And God's asking him a question. God said, "Can these dry bones live again?" They're dry bones, which means they've been dead. If I was Ezekiel, I'd be like, "No, these bones can't live again. No, no, no. Gone. Dead." But then Ezekiel said something so profound. He said, "Lord, only You know." And then the Lord told him, "Prophesy to the bones. Prophesy to the bones." And some of you guys have situations in your life that looks like this. They look dead. They look barren. And you are in the valley of dry bones. You look around your house, it's a valley of dry bones. You look around your job, it's a valley of dry bones. You look around everything, it's a valley of dry bones. And you look at it and you feel like it can't die again. And sometimes when you look at your condition, it will deceive you. Don't look at your condition. Look at your Champion. Ezekiel looked to his Champion. And he said, "Lord, only You know if these bones can live again." And you got to look at the situations in your life and say, "Lord, only You know if this can live again. Only You know if this marriage can be restored. Only You know if my faith can be restored." Yeah, I left ministry 20 years ago 'cause I dropped the ball. Only You know if I could come back. Yeah, I tried to do a business and failed. Only You know if it'll succeed. Only You know.
And then the Bible says there's life in death in the power of our tongue. So He said, "You prophesy to the dry bones." And then He said, "If you do that, I'll put breath back in the bones. I will cause sinews to come upon them, and all the nervous systems to come upon them. And if you prophesy, I will put breath back into them." So He started prophesying to them. And He said, "Oh, dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Oh, dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Oh, dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Oh, dry bones, hear the word of the Lord." And as he began to prophesy, God began to breathe. And we see in the beginning, when man was just laying down on the canvas of dirt, it was the breath that God breathed into his nostrils, and man became a living soul. He said, "Hey, I breathed once, but I can breathe again." Prophesy to the bones, and I'll breathe. And as Ezekiel began to prophesy to the bones, the Lord began to breathe. And the dry bones began to come to life. And the dry bones began to come alive. And the dry bones began to come to life. And I'm telling you, you got to prophesy to depression. You got to prophesy to anxiety. You got to prophesy to your storms. And when you begin to prophesy, God will begin to breathe. And what was broken to come back to life. What was destroyed to come back to life. What was lost to be found again. Oh, I feel the presence of God. Oh, you said you're going to prophesy of what's dead in your life. Give God a 10-second praise break in this place. Thank you, gentlemen. You guys can be seated.
On God says, "I will breathe on it, and I'll rest on it. I'll breathe on it, and I'll rest on it." We sang the song, "Holy Spirit, come rest on us, come rest on us, come breathe on us." And that's what the Spirit of God can do. He can rest on you. He can breathe on you. He can restore you. The reason why those bones can be resurrected is because our God is Resurrection. Where the Savior is present, Resurrection is possible. Wow. I pray you was blessed by that message. I pray it spoke to you and encouraged you, challenged you, and stressed you.
