Apple hides the one number that tells you if your MacBook battery is dying.
Hold the option key and click the Apple logo in the top left. Click system information, then click power on the left. Look for cycle count. That's how many times your battery has been fully used. Every modern MacBook [music] is rated for 1,000 cycles.
Right next to it, check maximum capacity. If that number is under 80%, that's your real sign the battery is worn out and needs replacing. Most people pay Apple to check this. You just did it in 10 seconds for free. Do this right now and follow for more tips like this.
