Speak the Name of Jesus—And Watch God Work Today | Morning Prayer

Grace Oasis13:34

Transcription

Before we pray, let's first take a moment to listen to God's word, and then we'll pray together in the mighty name of Jesus. There is Victory, there's strength for the weary, there's Authority that shakes the Gates of Hell, there's power that no Darkness can overcome, no matter how deep the night or how intense the battle. His name is your weapon, your shelter, your healing, and your banner of victory in the fight.

In Luke 10:17, we see something incredible. It says, "the 72 returned with joy and said, 'Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.'" Can you imagine that? Regular people, just like you and me, spoke the name of Jesus, and evil had no choice but to run. His name carries power. When they said it, Darkness had to back off.

So wherever you are right now—maybe you're sitting in silence, maybe you're overwhelmed with tears, maybe you're walking through something you don't understand—I want to encourage you: say his name. Say it when you're unsure, say it when you're afraid, say it when you're in pain. Whisper it if you have to; shout it if you need to. Speak the name of Jesus over your home, your heart, your mind, and your family. Speak it into every room, every thought, every moment. There is no name greater—not cancer, not anxiety, not addiction, not depression, not anything. Nothing stands above the name of Jesus. He calms storms, he opens blind eyes, he mends broken hearts, he raises the dead, and restores what seems lost forever. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the one who was, who is, and who is still to come.

When you say his name, you're not just hoping something might happen; you're calling on the full power of Heaven. You're inviting the King of glory to step into your situation. In the name of Jesus, sickness must leave, pain has to go, chains must break, Darkness can't stay, confusion clears, strongholds fall. Why? Because his name carries Authority.

And here's what's true about you: You are not helpless. You Are Not Invisible. You are not forgotten. You are a child of the Living God. God—his name is your covering, his name is your strength, his name is your inheritance. You don't have to fight every battle on your own. You have Jesus. And when you call on his name, Heaven moves, Angels respond, God listens, and hell trembles. Not because of who you are, but because of the power of the name you speak.

So whatever you're going through right now, look up, look to Jesus. Say his name over everything: Jesus over your fear, Jesus over your kids, Jesus over your future, Jesus over your marriage, Jesus over your health, Jesus over your mind, Jesus over every generational pattern trying to repeat itself. Because Jesus breaks chains, Jesus brings peace, Jesus restores what was lost, Jesus heals what was broken, Jesus speaks life where there was death.

And if you feel like you're in a spiritual battle right now, something you can't quite explain but it feels heavy and real, don't stay silent, don't hold back. Speak the name of Jesus into the atmosphere. Say it out loud: "In the name of Jesus, I claim peace, I claim strength, I claim healing, I claim Deliverance, I claim every promise God has spoken over me." Don't let the enemy tell your story; he doesn't get to write the ending. Jesus does, and he's not finished with you yet. Your battle is not your ending; it's the ground where your testimony is being planted. And one day you'll look back and say, "That was Jesus, only Jesus." He is alive, he is powerful, he is with you, and everything you need—every bit of healing, hope, comfort, and strength—is found in him.

So don't wait, don't hold back. Call on his name—the name above every name, the name that saves, the name that heals, the name that brings dead things back to life. Speak his name and watch everything change. Now let's take a moment to pray together.

Lord Jesus, you are the reason I stand when everything tries to knock me down. You are the reason I breathe in hope when fear tries to suffocate me. Because of you, Jesus, I am no longer a slave to sin. Because of you, I can face tomorrow without fear. Because of you, I walk with boldness, clothed in righteousness. In Your Name, Lord, I draw a line and say, "I will not be ruled by fear, I will not be paralyzed by anxiety, or intimidated by the threats of the enemy. I choose to live in Freedom, I choose to live in Victory, I choose to walk in the authority you have given me through the cross and the empty tomb."

In your name, Jesus, I declare peace over my heart, I declare strength over my mind, I declare Clarity over confusion, courage over doubt, and joy over every sorrow. Every Spirit of depression, every tormenting thought, every Lie whispered by the enemy must bow down at the sound of your name. Because where Jesus is, light breaks through, Darkness flees, chains fall, burdens lift, and hope rises like the morning sun.

I believe what your word says in Psalm 20:7: "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but I trust in the name of the Lord my God." While others place their confidence in power, possessions, knowledge, or control, I place my confidence in you. You are the God who never changes, you are the one who never fails. You are the same faithful Lord who parted Seas, shut the mouths of lions, walked through fire with the faithful, and brought Dry Bones back to life. Your name is not one among many; it is The Only Name that saves, The Only Name that brings the dead to Life, The Only Name that opens doors no man can shut and shuts doors no man can open. Your name silences storms, your name defeats death, your name is above every name in heaven, on Earth, and under the Earth. At The Mention of your name, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that you alone are Lord.

And though I may feel outnumbered, outmatched, overlooked, I remember that with you I am never outpowered; with you I am never alone. When I call on Jesus, every enemy must step back, every wall must come down, every attack must lose, for no power in hell, no force of darkness, no scheme of man can stand against the name of the Lord my God. If I need help, you are my helper; if I need comfort, you are my comforter; if I feel lost, you are the way; if I am wounded, You Are the Healer; if I am hungry, you are the bread of life; if I'm thirsty, you are living water; if I'm weary, you are the rest my soul longs for.

So today I lift up the name of Jesus. I lift it high—higher than every problem, higher than every fear, higher than every diagnosis, higher than every battle. I declare right here and now that you are greater, you are stronger, you are higher than all. Because when I speak your name, demons tremble, chains are shattered, sickness loses power, even the wind and the Sea obey you. There is nothing beyond your reach, no situation is too far gone, no heart is too broken, no life is too lost for you to redeem.

Jesus, fill me with your peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding. Fill me with joy that defies circumstances. Let Your Presence dwell so deeply within me that no storm on the outside can shake the calm within. Let your spirit quiet the noise, steady my breathing, and remind me I am held, I am safe, I am yours. Your word says in Matthew 28:18, "All authority in heaven and on Earth has been given to me," and I believe it. You, Lord Jesus, hold all authority—not some, not partial—all. You rule with Justice, you reign in Mercy, you are the light of the world, the solid rock beneath my feet, the great high priest who sympathizes with my weakness and lifts me up with compassion. And I remember the words of Revelation 1:5: "To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood." Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me—not just when I was strong, but when I was lost, when I was bound, when I had nothing to offer you, you loved me still. You gave everything so I could be free—free from sin, free from shame, free from Fear. You didn't just forgive me, you made me new. And so I give you all the praise, all the glory, all the honor. You are the Most High, the one who was and is and is to come. There is no one like you, Jesus. You are good, you are faithful, you are kind, you are trustworthy. I put my full trust in you. I lean not on my own understanding; I stand firm on your word, unshaken and unafraid, because you are my firm foundation.

Come, Lord Jesus, take control of every part of my life. Take your rightful place on the throne of my heart. Rule over my thoughts, my desires, my decisions, and my dreams. Speak into every situation and let your voice be the final word. Lead me, Guide me, fill me, use me, refine me, shape me. I am yours. Only You Are Holy, only you are worthy, only you deserve my everything. And now I thank you for what you've done, for what you're doing, and what you're about to do. I thank you for the Breakthrough, for healing, for restoration, for miracles in motion, for answered prayers I haven't even seen yet, for peace that is filling every room right now. Thank you for hearing this prayer, Jesus. I worship you and I honor you completely in the mighty, glorious, Victorious, and precious name of Jesus Christ. I pray, amen.

If this prayer has touched your heart, please type amen as a sign of faith. I pray that every blessing in this prayer is now upon you in the name of Jesus. And if you need a special prayer, feel free to let us know in the comments; we would be honored to pray for you. May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Jesus Christ be with you always.
