Jesus Said This Happens FIRST When the Beast System Starts

Jesus said this happens first when the beast system starts. You will be shocked by five things he said.

Number one, deception. We are walking out the eastern gate of the old city of Jerusalem. The disciples sat down right here with Jesus and asked the question we would all ask. "Tell us when? What is the sign? When does the end begin?" Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." Before there is ever a mark on a single hand, there is a lie in a billion minds. That is the first first. That is where it actually starts. And once you see it, you cannot unsee it because deception works precisely because it is undramatic and not just a thing. Deception is the soil the beast system has to be planted in. A world that still loves the truth cannot be ruled by a lie. So before the system can rise, the ground has to be prepared. The truth made optional. Up made to feel like down. Only then in a world that has lost its grip on what is real can one voice stand up and the whole earth follow him. That is the first first deception. The lie that prepares the ground.

But deception is only the warm-up. It softens the world. It does not start the beast system. There is a second first, a specific event, a sudden switch, not a slow drift that the Apostle Paul said has to happen before the antichrist can even be revealed. One thing has to be taken out of the way. And the moment it is removed, the lights go out and the whole system locks into place. Paul wrote it in a letter to a real city you can still visit. So let us go read it where it was sent.

The first event, the dam breaks. We are standing in what is now Thessaloniki, a port city in northern Greece. Around the year 51 AD, Paul sent two letters here to a frightened little church, terrified that they had missed the end. Those two letters are in your Bible as first and second Thessalonians. Some of the very first Christian documents ever written. And buried in the second one is the single most overlooked verse in all of end times prophecy. The puzzle Paul hands them, the Antichrist, the head of the beast system, cannot show up yet. Something is holding him back. Something is in the way. Until that something is removed, the beast cannot be revealed. 2 Thessalonians 2:7. "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work. Only he who now letth will let until he be taken out of the way." That word "letth," old English meaning the opposite of what it sounds like. It means to restrain, to hold back. Read it again. There is a restrainer holding the beast system back right now, today, this minute. And one day, Paul says, he will be taken out of the way. And the instant he is verse 8. "Then shall that wicked be revealed." Picture a dam. Behind the dam everything you are afraid of. The antichrist, the mark, the whole flood. The only reason the flood has not come is that the dam is still standing. So the most important question in all of prophecy is this. Who is the dam and what happens the day he is removed? Who is powerful enough to hold back the entire engine of evil across the whole earth? Present everywhere at once, strong enough to restrain evil on a planetary scale. There is only one person in all of scripture who fits: the Holy Spirit of God. And where does he live? The Bible says he lives inside the people who belong to Jesus, in believers, in the church. He indwells them. Follow this all the way down. The dam holds back the beast. The dam is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit lives inside the church.

Act three, the great disappearance. The air changes. Now we are going underground beneath the city of Rome into the catacombs. Mile after mile of narrow tunnels carved out of soft rock where the earliest Christians buried their dead. You can walk these today. And down here, scratched into the stone by people who were being hunted and killed for their faith. You find something that does not make sense for a persecuted people. You find anchors, fish, and one word over and over. "Marinatha," the Lord is coming. The most comforting thing one terrified believer could whisper to another in the dark. Paul spelled it out in that same era. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord." There is an order even inside the instant. A shout, the voice of the archangel, the trumpet of God. Then the dead in Christ rise first. Picture it down here in these tunnels. Every grave in this rock, every believer ever buried. And in one instant, the ground gives them back. And then those still alive are caught up to join them. Think about how fast. 1 Corinthians 15:52, "Behold, I show you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed in a moment, the twinkling of an eye." Faster than you can blink. And that word "imminent," what it actually means, said plainly. When Jesus walked out of his grave, his friends knew him instantly. Our memories will not be worse in heaven than they are now. You will know them. And what comes pouring through has a specific address. A real 35-acre platform in Jerusalem.

Act 4. The beast system unleashed. We are standing on the Temple Mount. Mount Mariah, a walled 35-acre platform in the heart of the old city of Jerusalem. The most fought-over piece of real estate on the planet. Right now, the Golden Dome of the Rock sits where the Jewish temples once stood. This is the holy place. And this exact ground is where the prophecy says the beast makes his move. And this ground has been prepared. In a workshop in the Jewish Quarter, less than a mile from where we are standing, an institution called the Temple Institute has been quietly assembling everything needed for a third temple. Over 60 sacred vessels, the menorah, the golden altar, the showbread table finished in gold and silver, built to biblical specification. The garments of the high priest, including the breastplate with 12 stones. Priests of Aaron's bloodline already in training. An altar built to be portable, designed to move the instant the door opens. The stage is being assembled piece by piece, and the prophecy demands the stage. 2 Thessalonians 2:4, "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." He sits in the temple of God. The prophecy demands a building. And for 1900 years, that made it impossible. The door was locked. Everything we just described is the sound of that locked door being worked on. This has already happened here once. In 167 BC, a Greek tyrant named Antiochus Epiphanies marched into the temple that stood on this spot, stopped the daily sacrifices, and set up an altar to a foreign god in the holy place. The Jews called it the abomination of desolation. Then centuries later, Jesus stood across the valley on the Mount of Olives, pointed at this platform, and said it would happen again. Matthew 24:15, "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, who so readeth, let him understand." The pattern is set. The stage is here. We are standing on it.

Now watch what the beast reaches for first. Not armies, your wallet. Revelation 13:16-17. "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." No man might buy or sell. And the plumbing for that verse is being laid in real time. 134 countries representing 98% of the world's economy are building digital versions of their money. Programmable currency that can be switched on or off for a specific person by a specific authority in an instant. China's digital currency has processed trillions. The honest caveat, it is not inevitable. The United States banned its central bank from issuing one in 2025. The plumbing is being laid. The mark has not arrived. But the infrastructure the prophecy requires went from fantasy to operational capability inside a single lifetime. Picture a grocery store, a full cart, bread, milk, everything your family needs for the week. You reach the register and it simply will not accept you ever again. Multiply that by hundreds of thousands of people who looked at that mark, understood exactly what it meant, and refused it anyway. Why would they refuse? Because by then they finally know. They watched the seats go empty. They saw the disappearance with their own eyes. And they would rather starve as children of God than feast as slaves of the beast. And even here, even in the blackest hour the world has ever seen, God does not walk off the stage. He seals 144,000 witnesses. He sends two prophets who cannot be silenced, who are killed, and then stand back up in front of the whole world. He dispatches an angel through the heavens preaching the gospel to every nation on earth because he refuses to let one soul go without a chance. A quiet thought to hold. Some who come to faith in that hour will come through things left behind. Books, recordings, videos, maybe even one like this. Things people scrolled past in the days of comfort, hunted down in the days of terror. If you do not believe a word of this yet, that is all right. Just remember where to find it. That is the beast system, the mark, the hunger, the cruelty, and that stubborn light of God refusing to go out.

But every single thing we have stood in front of, the hillside, the tunnels, this platform, leads to the last part. There is a fourth first, and it is about you.

Act five. If this could happen any moment, why has he waited 2,000 years? Second Peter 3:9. "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." He is patient. Every day he waits is one more day the door stays open. And what if the only reason he has not come back yet is you? What it actually means to be ready? Simpler than religion ever made it sound. Stop trusting in yourself. Start trusting in him. Romans 8:1. "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus." The wrath that is coming on the world. He already took yours 2,000 years ago on a cross in your place. To be ready is to stand behind that cross and say, "That was for me. I trust that I am his." Think all the way back to the beginning. The hillside, the warning, the tunnels, the platform. Your very first reaction in the first half-second before you arranged your thoughts. What was it? Hope or dread? Hope means something in you already knows where you stand. Dread means something in you already knows you are unsure, and the dread can be answered. Today, while the door is still open.

There is one detail the beast system carries that this video has not yet mentioned, and the detail should change how every person watching this relates to the flood behind the dam because the flood has a duration, and the duration is specific, and the specificity is the hope. Revelation 13:5. "And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given him to continue forty and two months." 42 months. The dam held for millennia. The flood runs for less than 4 years. The system that controls who buys and who sells. The mark that sorts the entire human race by allegiance. The antichrist who sits in the temple declaring himself God. All of it runs for 1,260 days. Then the King returns, and the system that felt permanent, that felt like the inevitable direction of civilization, that felt like a tide no individual could resist, expires on schedule. On a date the Lamb set before the dam was ever built. Think about the ratio. The dam held for over 2,000 years. The flood runs for 42 months. The restraint lasted roughly 500 times longer than the chaos. The patience of God, the longsuffering Peter described, the waiting that keeps the door open for one more person to come to repentance, endured for two millennia. The beast's reign lasts less time than a college degree. Daniel confirms the duration from a different angle, centuries earlier. Daniel 7:25. "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time." Until. That word is doing everything. The saints are given into his hand until. Meaning the giving has a wall. It runs into 3 and 1/2 years. Then the wall arrives. Then the authority expires. Then the one who set the timer collects the result. Revelation 19:20 describes the collection. "And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone." Taken. The beast who controlled the global economy. Taken. The false prophet who enforced the mark. Taken. Thrown alive into fire. The most powerful system of human control in history. Dismantled in a single verse by the Rider on the white horse whose only weapon is the word of his mouth. The infrastructure took decades to build. The activation runs for 42 months. The demolition takes a moment. And the Lamb who permitted the dam to break is the same Lamb who set the timer on the flood. The beast system has an expiration date. The Lamb does not.

Now, there is a group of people this video has mentioned twice, but never fully shown you. And this group may be the most remarkable dimension of the entire prophecy. Look at what he does inside the flood. He seals 144,000 witnesses, 12,000 from each tribe of Israel. Think about what he did with just 12 ordinary men 2,000 years ago. Now multiply that by 12,000. He sends two prophets to Jerusalem who cannot be silenced, who prophesy for 1,260 days, who are killed and lie in the street while the world celebrates, and then stand back up on their feet in front of every camera on earth. He dispatches an angel through the heavens, preaching the everlasting gospel to every nation and kindred and tongue and people. An angel in the sky visible to the whole world.

Track how often you evaluate a claim by its source rather than its evidence. The ratio tells you how deep the inversion has reached in your own thinking. The second indicator, the savior hunger cycle. Every political season produces a candidate position as the one who will fix everything. The rhetoric escalates. The promises expand. The expectations become messianic. This leader will save the economy, save the nation, save the future. And every cycle ends in disappointment because no human leader can deliver what only Christ can deliver. And the disappointment produces a deeper hunger which the next cycle exploits with even more extravagant promises. The cycle is the rehearsal. The antichrist is the candidate who finally does not disappoint because his power is supernatural and his results are real. The peace holds. The economy stabilizes. The problems are solved. And the world, trained by decades of messianic politics to evaluate leaders by results, follows the one whose results are undeniable. The savior hunger is the preparation. Track how messianic the political language around you has become. The intensity of the hunger tells you how ready the soil is for the man who will satisfy it. The third indicator, the convenience normalization. Every year another biometric system becomes routine. Palm scanning at Amazon. Face payment in South Korea. Digital ID required for government services in the EU. Each step is small. Each step is convenient. Each step makes the next step feel equally harmless. The person who has been scanning their palm at the grocery store for 5 years will feel nothing unusual when the mark requires the same gesture. The normalization is the preparation because the mark will not feel like a radical act. The mark will feel like the next logical step in a series of steps you have been taking for a decade. Track how many of your daily transactions already bypass cash entirely. Count them. The number tells you how deeply you are already embedded in the infrastructure the prophecy describes. The number may surprise you.

The gospel is the foundation. These three steps are the construction you build on it, starting tonight. Not next week, tonight. The first step. Read Matthew 24 for yourself. The chapter where Jesus laid out the sequence: the deception warning, the birth pangs, the abomination, the gathering. Read it without a commentary, without a system imposed on top of it, without someone else's framework telling you which verses belong to which dispensation. Let his words establish the framework before anyone else's words interpreted. You have a Bible. Open it tonight. Matthew 24, one chapter, 20 minutes, and let Jesus tell you the sequence in his own voice. The second step, have the conversation you have been avoiding. Someone came to mind while you watched this. You know who they are. A family member, a friend, a co-worker, someone you care about who does not know the Lamb, someone you have been meaning to talk to about eternity and you keep postponing it because the timing never feels right, because the subject feels awkward, because you are afraid of what they will think. The timing will never feel right. Have the conversation anyway. Because if the disappearance happens before you have it, the conversation becomes infinitely harder for them and infinitely more important. The video you watched today can be sent in a text message. The conversation you are avoiding can begin with a link. Start there if you cannot find the words, but start. The third step, settle the worship question before the mark demands an answer. The mark will present itself as reasonable, convenient, the only way to feed your family, a scan that takes 2 seconds. And the person who encounters the cost for the first time at the scanner will calculate under pressure. Hungry children, empty shelves, a transaction that feels no different from any other Tuesday. But the person who has already said the Lamb is worth the loss, while the loss is still hypothetical, while the children are still fed, while the shelves are still full, that person has already done the hardest math. The decision under pressure becomes the execution of a calculation completed in advance. Settle it now. While the settling is a choice rather than a crisis.

We are back underground. The catacombs, the narrow tunnels, the soft rock, the graves of people who were hunted and killed for following the Lamb, and who scratched their hope into the walls because they could not keep it inside. One word carved into stone by a hand that was probably shaking. Written in the dark by someone whose life depended on staying hidden. And the word was not a cry for help. The word was not a lament. The word was not "Save us" or "How long?" The word was "Marinatha." The Lord is coming. They believed it in the first century in tunnels beneath the empire that wanted them dead. They whispered it to each other when the alternative was despair. They carved it into rock because they needed it to outlast them. Needed the next generation to find it. And no, we believed. We held on. He is coming. That same word is available to you tonight. The same hope, the same anchor, the same Lamb who was slain and is alive, the same promise that the dam will hold until every last person the Father is waiting for has come through the door. Second Peter 3:9. "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." He is patient. The door is open. The dam is holding. And every day he waits is a day his longsuffering keeps the invitation extended to one more person. Maybe the person he has been waiting for is you. Romans 10:9. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." The deception is thickening. The infrastructure is advancing. The dam is holding, but one day it will be taken out of the way, and the ones who belong to the Lamb will be caught up in the twinkling of an eye, and the flood will come. And 42 months later, the King will return, and the beast will be taken, and the false prophet will be taken, and the system will be dismantled in a single verse. Settle it today while the door is open. While the dam is standing. While the word "Marinatha" still means hope instead of regret. The Lord is coming.

Marinatha. The three Greek words that reveal how Jesus returns. The three Greek words reveal how Jesus returns. Is this prophecy? Three Greek words the New Testament reaches for to describe how Jesus comes back. Three words it pointedly never used about the first coming. Each one tells you something the English word "coming" cannot carry.

Number one, word one: *parousia*, the arrival. *Parousia*. The simplest translation is just this, an arrival. That is far too thin. In the world this word came from, it did not mean any old arrival. It meant *the* arrival, the one that changes everything. Here is the first way they used it. When a king or a queen, a genuine royal personage, came to visit your city, the word for that official state arrival was *parousia*. It carried the whole weight, the preparation, the significance, the sense that the ordinary rhythm of the town was about to be interrupted by someone whose presence reorders everything around them. Here is the second way they used the same word. It was used in the ancient world of the arrival of a royal personage, the king or queen coming to visit. It was also used of an invading army. When D-Day arrived, it was a *parousia*. Something was going to happen that would change the whole situation. They used *parousia* for the arrival of an invading army. Think about what that actually means. Picture a coastline at dawn. Ordinary, quiet. And then the moment the landing comes, the instant boots hit that sand, there is a before and an after with no blurry overlap between them. The situation did not gradually shift. It flipped. One reality ended and another began in a single heartbeat. That is the freight this word carries. An arrival so decisive it slices history clean in two. Feel what the New Testament is doing by choosing it. The return of Jesus is not a mood that settles slowly over the world. Not a gentle influence that grows over generations, not a feeling that spreads. It is an event with a moment, a hard line ruled straight across history. An arrival is just an event. It can still happen in the dark behind a wall, witnessed by almost no one, the way the first coming did. A king can slip in through a back entrance and be inside the building before the crowd even knows he is there. An arrival by itself guarantees nothing about whether you would see it. Which is precisely why there is a second word. The second word exists to destroy that loophole completely.

Word two, *epiphaneia*, the appearing. Antiochus Epiphanies. His name is the second word. We are looking down now at the Temple Mount. To understand the second word, you need to know what a Greek king did on this platform in the second century before Christ. His name was Antiochus IV. He gave himself a title, *Epiphanes*. It means "the manifest one," "God made visible." In 167 BC, he marched an army onto this mount, into the temple that stood here, and did the most blasphemous thing in Jewish memory. The desecration is documented in 1 Maccabees 1, 2 Maccabees chapters 5 and 6, and Josephus's Antiquities of the Jews, book 12. He set up an idolatrous altar over the altar of burnt offering, dedicated the temple to Olympian Zeus, and sacrificed a pig on the holy altar, the unclean animal deliberately chosen on the most sacred square of ground the Jewish world owned. Hold that. Hold his name. The same root, *epiphaneia*, the appearing, the making visible, is the second word the New Testament chose for the return of Jesus. It will come back to haunt this exact platform before this video is over. The word means something different from the first. *Parousia* was to arrive. *Epiphania* means to appear, to show yourself, to step out into view where everyone can see you. Here is the image the word was built for. The picture is the meaning. Have you ever stood around the Victoria Monument on a national occasion and looked up at the balcony of Buckingham Palace, waited for those French doors to be opened by the footmen, and then the royal family appears on the balcony? The moment everybody has been waiting for, and a great cry goes up from the crowd. That is what this second word means. To come out onto the balcony where everybody can see you. You are in a crowd pressed together in a vast public square. Every face is turned up toward a high balcony with a set of tall doors behind it. Shut. Everyone is waiting. The energy is unbearable because everyone knows that at any second those doors will open. Then they do. The doors swing back. The figure everyone has strained toward steps out into full view. The roar that goes up is like a physical force. That is the word to come out where every eye can land on you. Here is the contrast that makes it burn. He did not do this the first time. The first time, that glory stayed indoors behind the face of a carpenter from an unremarkable town. The doors never opened. The crowd never saw. The *epiphania* was held back deliberately for the end. Here is the layer the words are building in you. The first told you he arrives decisively at a place. This one tells you the arrival will not be quiet, not private, not deniable, not something you hear about secondhand from someone who claims they were there. Revelation 1:7. "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him." Every eye, not some eyes, not the eyes of the faithful only, every eye on the planet at once. The doors come open and the entire human race is the crowd in the square. Titus 2:13 calls it "that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ." The glorious appearing, the balcony moment of all history, being seen is just spectacle. A blaze in the sky, a roar from a crowd, impressive, overwhelming, and still somehow on the outside of you. You could witness all of that and walk away untouched the way you walk away from fireworks. Which is exactly why there is a word I still have not named. That one does not stay on the outside. I am not giving it to you yet. First, I want to show you the single strangest, most beautiful clue about how he comes back. It is hiding in a piece of footage that was never filmed.

Six. The reversed ascension and the meeting. Run the film backwards. Imagine that on the day he left, the day his followers stood on this exact ridge and watched him lifted up and carried out of sight into a cloud. Imagine someone had been standing here with a camera and held it steady and filmed the whole thing. Up and up into the cloud and gone. Now take that footage, play it backwards. Watch what you would see. A cloud. Out of the cloud, a figure descending, coming down, growing larger, returning feet first to the very ground we are standing on. Run the departure in reverse and you are watching frame for frame the arrival. That is not a poetic flourish. Suppose you had been on the Mount of Olives with a video camera on the day Jesus ascended. Suppose you could play it backwards. You would have an exact film of his second coming because the angel said he will come back in exactly the same way as you saw him go. Here is how we know. Acts 1:11. "Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." In like manner. The way out is the way back. Simply reversed. The west wind. Once you know that, the details start arriving. They are gloriously, stubbornly physical. He comes out of the clouds. Here is a small thing that tells you this is real and not a fairy tale. Pawson observed it. In Israel, they only get clouds if the wind is from the west, from the Mediterranean. When it comes from any other direction, it comes from the desert. And it is a dry, hot wind. In this part of the world, the kind of cloud you would need only forms when the wind comes in off the Mediterranean from the west. Any other direction and the air arrives dry and hot off the desert with no cloud at all. Even the weather has a detail. There will be a west wind. There will be those great towering banks of cloud, the kind you have flown above and looked down on, lit from the top by the sun. There is nothing your eyes have ever seen on this earth that comes closer to the look of the glory of God than that. The sound. I have only told you what you will see. Let me tell you what you will hear. If you do not care for loud gatherings, I have bad news. It will be the noisiest meeting that has ever been held, as well as the biggest. Archangels shouting their heads off, trumpets blowing, enough noise to raise the dead. And in fact, it will. First Thessalonians 4:16. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God." A shout, an archangel's voice, a trumpet, and not a polite one. Loud enough to wake the dead. It will. The dead get the front seat. Which brings me to the most comforting sentence in this entire video. Give it to anyone you love who is afraid of dying before this happens. If you die first, you do not miss it. You get a front-row seat. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18. "And the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." Do you see the order? The dead go first. They are up before the living have even moved. Hawson said it directly. Do not worry about dying before this happens. If you die before it happens, you get a front seat. So, we win either way. If we die first, we get a new body straight away. And no undertaker measures us up. So, it is good news either way. Death is not the thing that makes you miss the meeting. It is the thing that gets you to the front of it. Remember the journey I promised you back at the city. Here it is. No stadium on earth could hold this gathering. Every believer who ever lived, and beyond them, the angels in numbers you cannot picture. The meeting is not held on the ground. It is held in the air. "Caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air." That is the trip you never booked. The flight with no aircraft. A meeting is just a gathering. Wonderful, vast, overwhelming, and still just the event of being brought together. It tells you nothing about when the doors open. The "when" is the question that has humiliated more confident men than any other in the history of the faith. The year a New England farmer named William Miller named out loud. He had studied the prophecies for years and built a whole movement on it. The year came. The year went. Out of the wreckage of that prediction grew the 7th Day Adventist movement. Another man, Charles T. Russell, fixed on the year 1914. Out of that failed date grew another movement still with us today, the Jehovah's Witnesses. Great names did it too. Martin Luther said 1636. That was wise because he certainly would be dead by then. John Wesley said 1874. Equally wise. The wiser ones always picked a date safely after they would be dead, so they would never have to stand in the wreckage of it. Here is the line that should settle it. Matthew 24:36. "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." No one knows. Not the date setters, not the angels, neither even the Son in that moment, but the Father alone. If even the Son in that moment deferred the date to the Father alone, then anyone selling you a year is selling you something. Hold this because I owe you a payoff at the very end. There is a case to be made that we might know the month, not the year, the month. We will come back to it.

If the day is sealed, did he leave us blind? No. He gave us something better than a date. He gave us signals. Jesus gave his followers four signals, and they are very, very clear. He gave us a set of them. Four. Let me show you where to watch.

Signal one, watch the world. The first signal shows up out there in the headlines. Three kinds of disaster: earthquakes, wars, famines. A small note on the popular "earthquakes are doubling every 10 years" claim that circulates in prophecy teaching. The United States Geological Survey, which actually tracks earthquakes, has stated that the apparent increase in detected earthquakes reflects better detection equipment and more reporting stations, not a confirmed rise in actual seismic activity. Wars and famines, on the other hand, have measurably increased in the post-war period. Here is the reframe that makes a believer different from everyone watching the same news. He did not call these the death throes of a dying planet. He called them the opposite. Matthew 24:8. "All these are the beginning of sorrows." The Greek word is *odinon*, birth pains. He said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled." He said, "It is not death pangs, but birth pains. It is painful, but it is the pain of contractions. Something is going to be born out of all this pain. Not the agony of something ending. The agony of something being born." The believer does not say, "I do not know what the world is coming to." The believer says, "I do know something is being born." The danger riding alongside this first signal, because each one carries a danger, is the false messiah. When the world shakes, frightened people go hunting for a strong man to save them. That is the vacuum a false Christ steps into.

Signal two, watch the church. The next signal does not appear in the world. It appears in the church. Three parts: pressure, opposition to the church spreading worldwide. By the annual reporting of Open Doors and similar organizations that track Christian persecution globally, the number of places on earth where the church lives in genuine freedom is shrinking, not growing. Sorting. Under that pressure, "the love of many shall wax cold." The half-hearted quietly fall away. Pressure separates the people who merely attended from the people who actually believed. The message reaching every nation. A church refined by pressure, stripped of its passengers, is a church that finally gets the job done. There are villages in China where 85% of the population have been born again because the church is under pressure. Do not ever pity churches that are being persecuted. Envy them. Here is a line that will stop a comfortable believer cold. Do not pity the persecuted church. Envy it. The danger riding alongside this signal is the false prophet. The voice that soothes when it should warn. That says "peace, peace" when there is no peace.

Signal three. Watch this mount. The next signal happens right here. It is the most disturbing thing on the list. Remember Antiochus Epiphanies and the pig on the altar. That was the rehearsal. The full thing is still ahead. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4. "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." A man setting himself up in the place of God in the very spot where God's name was made holy. The same desecration on the same ground. But final to those living right here when it happens, the instruction is blunt. Flee immediately. Do not even stop to pack. To everyone else, the opposite. Stay put and above all, trust your eyes, not your ears. The rumors will fly. You will hear he has come here, appeared there. Ignore every word. Lock these two truths down like bolts. They will keep you sane in the confusion that is coming. He has not come yet. His people have not gone yet. The argument the script needs is not which timing is right. The argument is that he is coming, and that the unveiling is coming with him. The danger here is the worst yet. False messiahs and false prophets at once.

Signal four. Watch the sky. Even that a man on a mount, a desecration, a global crisis is just politics. Terrible, terrifying politics. The kind the human race has survived before. There is one more signal. This one cannot be faked, cannot be argued with, cannot be survived as politics because it is not on the earth at all. It is in the sky. The lights go out. The sun switched off. The moon switched off. The stars one by one until the entire sky is total, absolute black with no natural light left anywhere. That is exactly what the fourth signal will be. God will switch every other light out so that the glory of Jesus will be the only light. Like lightning from east to west. Every other light in creation switched off so that when his glory comes, it is the only light. Lightning from one horizon to the other. A trumpet to shake the globe. Each signal carries a danger. False messiahs, false prophets, both at once. What is the danger of this last one? None. By the time it comes, it is over too fast to be deceived. Pawson. When you see all the lights go out and see this flash of lightning from one horizon to another, and you hear that blast of a trumpet, hold on to your hat because you are off. When that one comes, hold on to your hat. You are going now.

Finally, I can give you back the two things I have been holding. The month and the word I refused to name. The month. The month. First, I promised, and I keep my promises. Look at how he has done everything else. Always precisely on the calendar. There are three great appointed feast seasons in it. Watch the pattern. He died at the first: Passover. He poured out his Spirit at the second: Pentecost. The third has never yet been fulfilled. It is still open, still waiting: Tabernacles. Here is the detail that lifts the hair on your arms. That unfulfilled third feast is preceded by another, a Feast of Trumpets. Every time a trumpet sounds in the New Testament, it announces one thing: his return. Hawson said it like this: Jesus did everything according to God's calendar. He died at Passover. He sent his Spirit at Pentecost. He has not yet fulfilled Tabernacles. The Feast of Tabernacles is preceded by the Feast of Trumpets. And every mention of trumpets in the New Testament is to announce the return of the Lord Jesus. So one of these years, September, October, he will be back. But I cannot tell you which year. You can watch that trumpet, that shofar, lifted at the Western Wall every autumn. The honest, careful guess is this: Some autumn, late September into October, in a year no one is allowed to know. The month, plausibly. The year, never.

Now the word I refused to say out loud at the start: *Apocalypsis*. You already half know it. It is the root of a word you use. It means an unveiling, an uncovering, to pull the cloth off the thing and show it as it truly is. Not to arrive. That was the first word. Not to appear. That was the second. To be revealed, to be seen as you really actually are. That word means to be uncovered. To appear as you really are. You will not see a baby lying in a manger on his second coming. He will appear as he is, the Son of God, with all his glory. Do you feel how it completes the other two? He arrives. He appears, steps onto the balcony where all can see. Now this, the moment the crowd sees not just that he is there, but who he has been the whole time. The veil that hid his glory behind a carpenter's face. Gone. The covering torn away. The King unhidden as he is. The turn. Here is the turn. The thing I have been walking you toward since the very first minute. Feel the floor shift under you. An unveiling does not only uncover him. The same light that strips the veil off his glory falls on everyone standing in it. Luke 12:2. "For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known." This word is the moment everything hidden gets uncovered. That includes you. Every curated surface, every performance, every carefully managed version of yourself you hand the people around you. In that light, all of it comes off. You appear the way he appears, as you really are. Do you understand what has just happened to this video? Thought you were learning about an event, a date, an address, a sky on fire, a trumpet. You were not. You were walking toward a mirror. The subject was never really the King arriving. The subject is the one he arrives to. The subject is you. That is the why. The question I told you was sharper than it sounds. Why does he come back? Not merely to be seen. He comes to set right, to gather, to judge, to finish what the first coming began. The uncovering is not neutral. It does not find you as you wish you were or as you have persuaded everyone you are. It finds you as you actually are. Let me go and get the thing I left lying on the floor all the way back at the start. Remember the question. Suppose he is coming back. Would it change anything about how you live next Monday morning? And before that, the very first thing I asked in the dark before any of this began, would you want to know that flinch? That crack between "tell me" and "please do not." Here is why that crack matters. This unveiling does not ask your permission. The veil comes off whether you wanted to know or not. The version of you uncovered in that light is not the one you will have time to tidy up on the day. It is the one that is true right now, tonight, while you are sitting where you are sitting watching this.

The substantive claim that the return of Christ is the most frequently mentioned future event in scripture is well-established across evangelical scholarship. The Greek words *parousia*, *epiphania*, and *apocalypsis* are standard New Testament vocabulary for the return of Christ. Their usage and connotations are documented across major Greek-English lexica, including BD Aers and Louw-Nida. Three words: He arrives. *Parousia*, decisive, located, a line ruled across history. He appears. *Epiphania*, the doors thrown open, every eye, the whole sky a light. He is unveiled.
