Jai Hind, Namaste. I, Ambar Zaidi, welcome you all once again to our program today. In today's special program and special episode, we will talk about the many upheavals happening in global geopolitics or, as we may say, international politics. How fast-paced are the developments, and what more could happen? Because many things are unexpected, which even big experts cannot predict. But what do Vedic astrology and charts indicate? We will understand that today from our special guest and your well-known Vedic astrologer, PVR Narasimha Ji. You can visit his website. A very warm welcome to you. Namaste.
Jai Hind, Namaste, Amar Ji. Jai Hind, Sir. A lot is happening, so I would first like to ask you: are the current planetary cycles signaling that the world has entered an initial stage of shifting to a new global power hierarchy? Can this be called a major change?
A major change is indeed coming. However, after 2030, a very big change will come in the world, and the entire international system, the entire order, will completely change. And what we are seeing in the world now are perhaps the initial signs of that. By around 2030, there will be very big consequences. But these are the initial stages. As you mentioned, there is a lot of upheaval in the world. But these are all the beginning stages. In the coming years, particularly in 2027, 2028, and 2029, a lot is going to happen.
So, related to this, I want to ask you another question, Sir. Which major powers appear to be entering an expansion phase, and which are entering a contraction cycle?
Definitely, I can say with confidence that India is on a path of growth. India, the country, and some countries in Asia, some countries around India, are on a path of growth. And America and Europe, the Western countries, are definitely on a path of decline. They are in a contracting cycle. And China is an interesting case. China, China and Russia, it appears they are on a path of growth. However, while on the path of growth, there will be an explosion, and China will basically fall. Therefore, looking at it from a long-term perspective, it is going to decline. But temporarily, it will seem like it is on a path of growth.
So, I would like to ask you one more question beyond this. Do the present indicators point towards a risk of escalation between major military powers, or are we seeing a move towards strategic restraint? Because many experts repeatedly say, and you have also said before, that this is an era of wars.
This is an era of wars. But I don't think a war is going to happen between China and the US right now, or between Russia and America. That might happen in 2030, 2031. Not now. Therefore, I feel now, and I can say one thing: the period from March 2024 to May 2028 is a time when America will be very aggressive. America will take chances to continue its supremacy, will make some bold moves, and will take some risks. Therefore, America will be aggressive. However, China and Russia will display strategic restraint. And this situation will lead to an environment by 2028-2029 where they too will have to do something. So, I feel now that China and Russia will use strategic restraint, and the US will remain aggressive. However, small wars will continue to happen in the next two to three years, but a confrontation between the big powers is not happening yet; there is still time for that, as I said, these are initial stages.
Okay, so according to your analysis, are there any specific global flashpoints that policymakers should closely monitor, and are they currently not paying attention to them?
Definitely, there are two flashpoints in the world where a lot will happen in the coming years. One is Taiwan. But I don't think, looking at the war cycles of Taiwan, China, and the US, that anything is going to happen there now. That will happen around 2030, and that will be the final stage. But the Middle East, a lot of tension will be seen in the Middle East, and Israel and the Middle East will be the epicenters. Whatever wars happen in the next two to three years, their epicenters will be in the Middle East. And the tension regarding Iran, between the US and Iran, between the US and Israel and Iran, I don't think that has ended yet. So, peace talks are happening. Some peace talks have already occurred between the US and Iran, and another one is scheduled for next week. Because of this, people might think that something will happen there, and Iran will strike a deal with the US. However, by April, the Iranian regime will not be able to breathe. According to my calculations, it is very vulnerable. The possibility of the Iranian regime falling is very, very high. If April 1st passes, then it is safe. Particularly, there is a solar eclipse coming. On February 17th, there is a solar eclipse coming. That solar eclipse is very interesting. During that solar eclipse, the Sun and Moon will be in Leo at approximately 5 degrees. During the solar eclipse, and if you look at Iran's horoscope, the Islamic Republic of Iran's horoscope is from April 1979 afternoon. The ascendant is at 5 degrees Leo. Their ascendant, and if you look at Donald Trump Ji's horoscope, the ascendant is also at perhaps 7 or 8 degrees Leo. Therefore, during this eclipse, the Sun and Moon will activate Donald Trump Ji's ascendant and Iran's ascendant. And in Iran's horoscope, Mars is in the ascendant, and it is at approximately 15 degrees, and Ketu is currently transiting at 15 degrees. And Ketu is a planet that indicates explosions, that indicates unexpected developments. Therefore, whatever fluctuations Donald Trump has had, whatever indecisiveness he has shown, perhaps he will make some decisions around this time. Therefore, this February is a very dangerous time for Iran, and as I said, until April 1st, their time is very dangerous. Therefore, all countries should keep an eye on Iran. Something can happen there. Israel and the US can do something there, and the possibility of the regime falling is very high, and its impact on international relations, on the international balance, will be significant. Perhaps it will not be visible in the coming weeks or months, but it will definitely be visible in the coming years. A very big impact.
So, in short, can we say that the global power balance can be completely shaken? So, related to what you said, my question is: do the current patterns indicate the formation of unexpected geopolitical partnerships? Because many analysts might be surprised by something like this, as you are saying something like this is possible, and unexpected developments will occur. So, can unexpected partnerships also form in this way?
I have said before that 2024 and 2026 are times when your friend can become an enemy, and your enemy can become a friend, and then everything can become normal again. This is basically a temporary period when countries will experiment with different partnerships. Therefore, do not take whatever is happening too seriously. By the second half of 2026, everything will become clear. Who is with whom? Who is whose friend? When the trade war was going on between India and the US, people were saying that India should now befriend Russia and China, and keep BRICS ahead of the US. But I said at that time that some agreement would be reached between the US and India, some trade deal would be made, and they would remain friends, not enemies. In this way, one thing we must understand. When such upheavals happen in international relations, the main thing is: who are the top two? Whoever is at the top, and whoever wants to reach the top position, they will never compromise. The tussle between them will continue, and those two countries are the US, America, and China. The cold war that is ongoing between them will continue. However, all other countries, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Israel, the countries of the Middle East, the countries of Europe, all of them will try to maintain good and strong relations with both sides, but they will keep their options open. But this will be their inclination. And I feel that India will succeed in maintaining strong relations with both sides for a long time. Other countries will have to choose, but India will be able to choose later. This is what I feel. And as I said, the epicenter is the Middle East. Whatever is going to happen in the next year or two, its epicenter will be the Middle East. Therefore, you will see a lot of instability in the Middle East. Like Saudi Arabia, like the UAE, like other countries in the Middle East, Turkey. They will have to choose between China and the US. And their enemy is also Israel, and Israel's friend is the US. Therefore, there, and the interesting thing is, India has some tension with Pakistan, India has some tension with China, and there are also some small tensions between India and the US. Therefore, but there is a deep friendship between India and Israel. Therefore, this is a very interesting time, and in the coming months, we will see something where some countries in the Middle East will explore relationships that people might not expect. Absolutely.
So, in short, can we say that despite ideological differences, rival powers will move towards cooperation? Just as we have seen in the Middle East, like the Abraham Accords and all these things, we are already seeing that. What will happen further, only time will tell. But do the present global patterns indicate a move towards an expansionary economy, or are we seeing a move towards a contraction phase?
I feel that my prayer is that I am wrong, but my expectation is that 2026 will be a very bad year for the economy, for the global economy. Therefore, I feel that the world economy, in the hope of expansion, will contract. Some developments will occur that will contract the economy. This is what I feel. But I hope I am wrong about this. And regarding the previous question, I want to say one more thing. If something happens in Iran, and for Iran, as I said, the period until April 1st is a very bad time. Therefore, if the Iranian regime falls, then its power in the Middle East will decline regionally, and there will be competition to fill that void. And Turkey will become more aggressive in the Middle East, and Turkey might be a component in changing the equations in the Middle East.
Okay, I want to ask one more thing, Sir. Do the current alignments historically show patterns linked to sudden leadership changes, political turnovers, and similar cycles? Is it possible in this period that there could be leadership changes in some key countries?
In this period, leaders can change in the next two to three years. Regimes can change in some countries. And in general, conservative leadership will rise in the world. Particularly after June, Jupiter will be in its exaltation sign, and when Jupiter is exalted, conservative leadership will grow in the world. Therefore, the right-wing leaders all over the world will see an increase in their influence in the coming year or two. And I can say one thing: without leadership changes, the relations and alignments of countries can change. This is a time when these alignments can completely change. Because, as I said, one thing is true: the US and China, both countries want to rule the world, and the US is number one, and China wants to reach the number one position. There will be no alignment between them. However, all other countries can align with the US, can align with China, and these countries do not deal directly with them. And all regional players, based on their relations, can form their relations. Therefore, there will be a lot of upheaval in international relations in the next two years. But in the end, ideological differences are just a show. Nobody cares about ideology. If you take religion, or right-wing, left-wing, anything, any terminology, any paradigm, we have an example, the latest example is Syria. What an example. Syria. Yes, absolutely. Nobody cares about ideology or religion. This is all a game of power. Absolutely.
I want to ask you a question regarding India, because many economists and experts make big claims about India's growth. But looking a bit beyond that, because India, touch wood, is indeed seen to be in a growth phase. But can India play a decisive role in shaping emerging alliances and the global power balance?
I feel that in the coming year or two, India will maintain a low profile. I mean, India will continue its relations with China, with Russia, with the US, with Israel, and will advance those relations. But India will not get involved in the cold war between China and the US, and will not get involved in whatever the US is going to do in Iran. It will remain neutral and impartial. But after the second half of 2027, or in 2028, India will have to take a stand, and then India can influence the direction that this cold war between the US and China is going to take. India can change the direction of this cold war. But not now. Now, India needs to focus on its progress. Now, India needs to develop some weapons, some technologies for the coming big wars of 2030-2031. India will focus on this and increase its capabilities. And as I have said before, India will keep its options open. It will not sit in one tent. It will continue relations with both tents. Because in the end, India's influence will be significant. But I can say with confidence that in the coming two to three decades, India will continue to move towards growth. And right now, India is a third-world country, but India will become number one in the world in the coming three decades. This is a long journey. But what we have seen in the last 10 years will continue for the next 30 years, and India will become number one, will become a superpower. Yes.
So, expanding a bit from India, what do your calculations suggest about South Asia? Regarding tensions in that entire region, because we see something or the other happening, will tensions increase, or will we see some stability in the region? What kind of situation do you foresee ahead?
No stability will be seen. This region, the South Asian region, will remain unstable. It will remain unstable for many years. Particularly Bangladesh and Pakistan. If you take Pakistan, the conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter in 2020 showed what will happen to your country for the next 20 years. And in that horoscope, Pakistan's horoscope is very bad, and these 20 years are very bad for Pakistan. Particularly the period from 2025, from 2024-2025 to 2029, is very bad. Ignoring all the show, if we look deeply, Pakistan has many problems. Economic problems, leadership problems, and all of them will surface in the coming months, and perhaps some have already surfaced and are coming in the coming months. There will be a lot of upheaval in Pakistan. And I have obtained Imran Khan Ji's horoscope from a Pakistani astrologer, and he claims it is very accurate. I have met the family, and he adds that if we look at his entire life, it explains it. And according to that horoscope, I feel that the period until October 2026 is a very dangerous time for Imran Khan Ji. There is a possibility of his life being in danger during this time. This is a fatal period for him, until October 2026. But if this period passes without anything happening, then he can rise again, he can come back to power. The period from October 2026 to October 2027 is a very good time for Imran Khan Ji. But until October 2026, the possibility of his life being in danger is very high. So, I cannot say with confidence what will happen to him. But from Pakistan's horoscope, it seems that a change of leadership is going to happen there, and there will be a lot of upheaval in the next three to four years. People will suffer a lot. Therefore, there will be absolutely no stability there. And looking at Bangladesh, as I predicted before, there will be a leadership change in Bangladesh. Some people thought that Muhammad Yunus, by canceling the elections, would remain in power for a few more years. But I said, one way or another, he will go, and someone else will come. And now Tarique Rahman Ji is going to become the Prime Minister there. But the bad news for India is that the Saturn-Jupiter conjunction cycle I talked about, which shows 20 years, in Bangladesh's cycle, there is the Sun and Moon in the ascendant, an Amavasya Yoga in the ascendant in the eighth house cycle, which shows karmic deeds, and in the eighth sign, Jupiter and Saturn are debilitated. Therefore, I feel that Bangladesh will remain unstable for the next few years. And Amavasya Yoga in the ascendant in the eighth house cycle shows that there will be an identity crisis. Bangladesh will struggle to define itself. Who are we? What is Bangladesh? What does Bangladesh stand for? What is our direction? Bangladesh will be lost in an identity crisis in the coming years. And there will still be some leadership instability in the coming years. And China and the US will try to increase their influence there. And India should play there thoughtfully. Some people think this is good for India, perhaps it is bad for Pakistan that Rahman Ji won. But in my opinion, it is not as good for India as people think. Perhaps it is even better for China than for India. Therefore, India will have to deal carefully. But I can say with confidence that this instability in India's neighborhood will not affect India much. India has now become a big country. If an elephant is walking, and some dogs are barking, it is some nuisance, but the elephant can ignore them. In that way, India can ignore the instability that will occur in Pakistan and Bangladesh in the coming years and move forward.
Yes, I want to ask you one more question. Is there any specific time window that appears where global affairs seem unusual or volatile?
Yes, this solar eclipse I mentioned, when the Sun and Rahu are in Aquarius, this period of February is a very tense time. And in March, there will be a conjunction of Mars and Rahu in the middle of March, which is also a tense time. And then in April, there will be a conjunction of Mars and Saturn in Pisces, which is a very tense time. Therefore, the next three months are a very tense time for the world. After the end of May, from June-July, there will be a normal time. But until May, from this February to May, it is a very tense time. Some unexpected developments can happen. Some explosive things can happen in the world. We can say that it is a big, somewhat tense time, as you said, that something can happen in these three months. So, I want to ask you one more thing: in the near future, what is the most probable category of events you see? Can there be an economic shock, or will it be a diplomatic rupture, technological disruption, conflict escalation? What do you see happening in the coming times, what kind of global shocks will we receive?
Technological disruption is a very big thing, and it will shake the world, but not in the next few months, but in the next two to three years, technological disruption, particularly related to artificial intelligence, will shake the world. But if we talk about the next few months, I feel that some war-related things, some conflict escalation related things, will happen in the Middle East. Its impact will be on the economy, and that will be the main thing in these three to four months: conflict, and after that, the economy.
Okay, according to you, what will be the most important structural change in the international system that will define the next decade?
Perhaps this will happen around 2030. 2030-2031. At that time, as I said, this cold war that is currently ongoing between China and the US will reach a stage where they will have to confront each other, an actual confrontation, and there will be many losses. And after that, people will start thinking again, what is happening in the world, where are we heading? And some new thinking will emerge in the world. I feel that in 2032, 2033, 2034, at that time, there will be some rethinking in the world, after a lot of destruction, after a lot of explosive destruction, there will be rethinking. And India will lead this. By then, India will be an economic superpower, a military superpower, and above all, spiritually and philosophically, India will bring to the world the idea that was spread all over the world in the past millennium, thousands of years ago, the idea that whatever we want in this world created by God, there is plenty, we don't need to fight. We can all sustain this world, and it can fulfill our desires. Therefore, there will be a reconsideration of the materialistic pursuits and the destructive path that the superpowers are leading the world towards. In 2030, that will be the defining moment. But in the short term, whatever economic tensions there will be, whatever this materialistic culture is, whatever this culture of exploiting nature is, the confrontation between China and the US in the next four years will define the conflict, and the world that will come after the conflict will be defined by India's leadership in 2030.
Okay, one final question for you. If you had to identify just one geopolitical development that could reshape the global landscape next year, what would it be?
I have already said this. I feel that something is going to happen in Iran, this is not over, and it will significantly change the international political situation. What the US is going to do in Iran in the coming months, in the next two months, that might be a very important development. And to mention one more development, I feel, looking at Israel's annual cycle, that Israel will not sit quietly this year and will do something explosive in the Middle East, and that could also change things. Absolutely.
And for answering so many questions and so many queries so extensively, thank you very much. Namaste. Jai Hind. Jai Bharat.
Namaste. Jai Hind. Jai Bharat. Thank you.
