Uranus

Truth In Aspect Astrology/ Jewel8:25

Uranus is the planet of holistic thinking. It is really about genius, the universal mind. So we have Jupiter, which is education and higher thinking and elevation of the mind. And then we have the next level, which is Uranus, which is genius, which has nothing to do with education. It has to do with originality, radical insight, and being able to see how all things work together. How all things work together for the common good, as well as mechanically.

So it's the planet of awakening, radical insight. It enlightens us. It emancipates and liberates us from the Saturn stage, that's narrowness. So once we throw off the chains of our karma, take that step out of our past narrow patterns, our traditional patterns, our karmic patterns, we go to the Uranus stage. And Uranus has two sides, as every planet does. It's really about having us make enough mental connections in order to transcend conventionality. And so we transcend Saturn. Saturn is conventionality. And then we have a chance to become very conscious in the types of relationships that we have in our society. Of a chance to consciously change our societies to be a conscious world citizen.

So it is where we go beyond, or start to go beyond, being subject to duality. And so is unification of the things that are about being separate. Uranus brings unity. It's about humanitarian things, altruistic things, bringing the group together, unifying. So it's processes of change and transformation that has us breaking out of that Saturn shell, the confines of our karma, the confines of convention, the confines of tradition, the confines of paranoia, the confines of what's known to explore what we could be, what are our potentials. That's Uranus. Its potential. Saturn has a closed-ended answer to something, but Saturn is open-ended potential.

And we associate it with science and scientists and genius. And that's a lot of how you can understand its two sides. Is that it has either an Asperger's kind of side where it can make socializing and interacting in close associations more difficult, but yet we have these ideas that can have a big effect on a large group. And it can also have this other side of just being so objective and so enlightened that it can unify and be with and get along with anybody and have an easy social interaction, total comfort, because it has this objective awareness. So really, it's the universal mind. We go from the small mind of Mercury to the higher mind of Jupiter, and then break out of that cultural thinking. And can do Jupiter, Saturn, and then we reach the universal mind of Uranus.

So our perspective is big. It is not personal with Uranus. It's flashes of illumination. It's radical insights that can lead to new ways of doing things. So it's how we do things out of a set pattern. And it's disruption. It's change. It's things that are not set, things that are in motion, and the acceptance of that, and a comfort with that. So it's also things that bring us into the future. Uranus represents the possibilities that exist in the future. Technology of all kinds is ruled by Uranus. So it's a stimulating, reforming planet. It's about reform. Saturn is form. That is the planet of form. We build forms with Saturn, and we reform those with Uranus. We reform those into something that's more inclusive, something that's a bigger perspective, something that allows peace to exist because we don't have these individual barriers called tradition and culture at the Saturn and Jupiter level.

So, mm-hmm. It is the planet of rebellion and revolt. And it's also about, you know, being a bit of an anarchist, not going with the status quo. Because we've seen the, and it, we've broken the barrier of needing a governing body. We've broken through that fear of needing a system outside of ourselves to give us a sense of safety. We realized that safety is in being on the move. It's in seeing the genius of not having a closed answer to a moving problem. So it's realization, new dimensions of togetherness, unconventionality, things that happen quick. It's instability and what it is to be true, true to oneself, and what it is to obey the right voice and to do something for the right reasons, rather than for reasons of staying out of trouble or avoiding responsibility or however we want to do things at the Saturn level. We do them authentically at the Uranus level. So it's inspiration as well. It is. It's a planet that wants us to advance. It wants to inspire us to the potentials that it represents that can lead to a better or more inclusive future.
