Father, thank you. We ask that your glory falls upon this place. Your This place shall be a place that's saturated with your glory, saturated with your power.
Father, Lord, we worship you. We thank you for your presence that has gone ahead of us. We thank you that you're here in our midst. We thank you, Lord Jesus, for your mercies. We thank you for your kindness. Thank you for your protection. We thank you for provision. Thank you for meeting us. Thank you Lord Jesus.
And a certain man man lame from his mother's womb was carried whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called beautiful to ask of them that entered into the temple. Verse number three, who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked in ask an arms and Peter fasting his eyes upon him with John said look on us.
So this morning we just want to just share a a word we are going to use to pray this morning titled look on us. When you look at this place, you are going to see them together. We will realize that you have a part to play in your destiny. And God has his part to play in your destiny. For you to get something from God, there is something you have to do. For you to own to to to be in relation relationship with God, there's something that you should do. There's a man factor. There is a God factor.
This b this man was lame from the mother's womb. So it wasn't the fault of the man nor the fault of God. But God wants to use that man's case as a testimony as a testimony to people who feel that they because they are lame that there's nothing that can happen in their lives because they do not have a job that there's nothing that can happen in their life. They the God wants to address people who feel that there's no more solution in their case or their issue.
Anytime there is a move of God, no matter the level of that person's spirituality, anything he says comes to pass because God is already there to do something. So they said to him, "Look on us." The man stared on him on them and said, "What do you have?" He said, "Silver and gold we do not have, but that which we have we give unto you." In that day, in the name of Jesus Christ, the son of the living God, rise up and walk. The power of God cannot return back to him void.

But that woman's mess paved the way for her. As the woman was penetrating and going through the crowd, the crowd was paving. The crowd was paving waste for him, for he for her. Why? Because of the smell coming out of her body. I don't know what you have. I don't know what is smelling in your body. I don't know the order you have, but your order cannot stop you. Are you hearing me? Your situation cannot stop you.
We will do exactly what that woman did. He was hiding it until he break his ties. He said, "My name is Jacob." He said, "You are no more going to be called Jacob." Henceforth, your name shall be called Israel, for you are a prince and you have fought with God and you have conquered. This morning, you ask God, "Change my name. Change my name." Everything placed upon that name, everything said upon that name that that name will not prosper, every word spoken against that name, change it this morning. I want a change in my heart. The Bible declares in the book of Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah that the word of God came to Jeremiah saying very very important. The word came to Ezekiel saying the saying is yours. The saying is yours. And until you understand the importance of the word of God, you will not be able to be attentive to your own sake. You will not be very attentive to listening before what God has in stock for you eludes you.
Anytime I go to a church, I will be listening to the message from God. I I will have my J. I will have my pen. But not everything I will write. Why? because I may not be fast enough to grasp what the man of God is saying to not everything he says is peculiar to me. So I have been waiting to pick my own message which I will write down and run with it. That is the way it is. I may preach for 1 hour here. If you are not attentive, you will not hear God say today is the day I have said for you. I have answered you and God cannot bring it back to you again. It's not possible. I said this morning here that God is not a father Christmas. If you don't pay a price for something, you cannot have it. I gave an example of a man at a beautiful gate. The man has been there for years. Until that fateful morning, God has ordained to reach him. The man was there. The man that the men of God that were to answer his prayers came. I say assuming the man was not there. We saw God effort with some saw man being seen of them 40 days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. Verse number four. and being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which he which said he you have heard of me. I want to stop here because I noticed something. Okay, go down. Go down. Go to verse five. I noticed something. And John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. Verse 8. Verse 8. I when I was reading the the place, I realized why so many are not witnessing for Jesus. Why so many are lazy about the things of the spirit? Now look at it. And you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you. And you shall be my witness unto unto me both in Jerusalem and all Judea and in Samaria on unto past utmost part of the earth. Now everyone that has this that have received this power has an universal mandate. Two I realize why so many are not telling people about Jesus is because they have not experienced the power of the Holy Ghost. As soon as one receive this power of the Holy Spirit, nobody will tell you to tell your neighbor about Jesus. This morning I was just imagining come for evangelism, nobody comes. How many souls have you won for the year for Christ? Uh I don't know what to say. You have not received the power of the Holy Ghost. You know what? This morning is a morning of power. You will receive the power. >> I say you will receive the power. I say you will receive the power. I'm not hearing amen from you. You shall receive power. It is optional. It is not for every person. But that is the reason why you are not witnessing for Jesus. And you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you. And you shall be witnesses unto me mandatorily. Mandatory. You shall be witness unto me. In other words, it is not what people say. That is a propelling force in you that will make you to tell people about Jesus. So if you don't have this power, you cannot.
I told you something this morning. Why the Hezi did not receive the triple anointing? Why? Why the master has double portion? God in heaven allowed Elijah to be buried with that double anointing. What a an end of an error. Gesi would have had triple anointing. Why? Ghesi Ghesi was not interested in the things of the spirit. Two, Ghesi will make merchandise of triple anointing if it comes upon him. So God allow the servant to be.
When I receive Jesus, I am no more Joseph O. I become a son of God. John 1:12 say, "As many as received him, to them he gave power dunamis to become to become to become son of God." So I am now a son of God. You become a son of God the day you gave your heart to Jesus. So if you are not giving your heart to Jesus, you are still bearing the name of your father. That's why you are afraid. That's why you are what? Afraid. That's why you are the way you are. That's why you have time. Even if the word of God is being preachy, you are discussing because you don't understand yourself.
Two men came to the embassy, Nigerian embassy, and uh the other man came by by 8 something a.m. his time. The other man came to the embassy in Lagos by 4:00 a.m. The man that came 4:00 a.m. because those days they used to give serial numbers as you come they give you a number. So the man was the first to be called to be at But the chamber of this ear, this eyes, this nose, he's here. That's why if you have kata, one that has kata here, your hands supposed not to know. But because what controls your senses are here, what controls what you hear is here. That's why you should guide it. Bible. So guide your heart. Fat of feet flows issues of life. Number two, we are not saying what I am called to do on earth is different from what you are called to do. When you are talking about a man that is on his journey, you are missing out from understanding what you are called to do. Amen. 58 Therefore, my bre my beloved brethren, be you steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. For as much as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
And power that brings the world to their knees or its knees is our faith. Now why do faith come in here? Faith came in here because you need faith to operate victory you have received. You need faith to operate on this planet earth. You need faith. When people say there is casting down, you will open your mouth and say there is there is lifting up. You need faith in the word of God to operate the promises of God. So you can bring the whole world under your kn under their needs because of faith in Christ. So when they say this business cannot grow, you say you are just making noise. The pro the business has grown already because Jeremiah 4:47 said verse 17 and 25 said Pharaoh the king of Egypt is for a noise for the time appointed to that Pharaoh to destroy you or to destroy that business has expired. So whatever he says afterwards is not his making. That's why anytime my body is feeling pains, I will tell it the time appointed to you has been expired. You see, we don't understand the word, the power in the word. That's why we are not enjoying God. Look at it. Can we see it? Passion translation, TPT. Child, every person begotten by God has overcome the world, conquers the world. TPT, TPT. Yeah. Thank you. You see, every child of God overcomes the world. For our faith is the victorious power that triumphs over the world. Your faith is the victorious power. When the people say there is casting down, you will say there is lifting up. When people say there this place is no go area, you will say that I am the way, the truth and the life. Follow me. When people say that darkness has filled the earth, you will tell the people I am the light of the world. When people say there's no sweetness in this world, you will tell them I am the salt of the earth. Oh God, he said that the power that overcomes the world is faith. That's why you must you must on a daily basis study the word of God. Read the word of God. Hear the word of God. Hear the word of God. Come to hear the word of God because faith cometh by hearing the word of God. So you can operate healing if you don't know what Bible says about healing. You can't operate healing anointing. You can't operate healing of provision blessings of God without knowing what God says about it. You cannot say, you cannot open your mouth and say there's lifting up in my life. There's lifting up in my family. There's lifting up in what I do when you don't know where Bible what Bible says about you. Lift it. Lifting up. So you need to devote time for the word of God.
I said to I said to you I think last Sunday or last two Sundays when I was growing up in the ministry I believe in people falling under the power even when we are tajal I will stay there I want to be prophesying and I want to be seeing people fall under the anointing so somebody called me one day say me going. Stop this thing. Devote more time to the word of God. Everything will pass, but the word will not pass. And I began to devote devote time and devoid the scriptures. And I'm becoming stronger, stronger and stronger.
When we look at David and the victory David got in first king chapter 17, the word of God, God has given me victory, anytime I face issues of life, difficult situations, I will address it from the point of victory, not from the point of victim. where we when we move to where we are staying today, some group of people came and said that you have more things, more lands than you were given. As soon as I drove in, I was told I turned my car going went to the person's house. Christianity is not You don't stand on the defensive. You stand on the defensive. On the offensive. You don't stand on the defensive. You stand on the offensive. I started the car. I went to the person's house. As I was going, I met him on the road. I said I heard that you came to my house. He said, "Yes, pastor, we are many that came." I said, "Okay." You know what? He said, "No." I said, "Thank you for coming." That the commissioner of police, Enobu state is looking for the people that came to that house, armed robbers, and now I have seen you. He say I should get any person. So, you are the person tomorrow. you will go and answer.
As I was about and this man anchored his feet on a vow. He said, "God, any person that comes from my house to welcome me after this victory, I will give him to you." Heaven said, "Amen." You must anchor your faith on something so that in victory you will see it. And what happened? He went to the war for for war and won the battle. The first thing that came into to greet him was the only child. The girl saw the father came out but jubilating. The father the father was not happy. He said daddy how your face is not happy. He said, "I made a vow to my God that the first thing that will come to welcome me after this victory, I will give him to you." He said, "Wow, no problems. Let me go and play with my friends and come back." The girl went out, discussed with a friend, had a night time with his friends and came back. The father killed him. Bushi between the blue and deep blue sea. Who do I believe? Do I believe go to my mother's house or do I remember what gave me this victory? Some will run to their village. They will not come to the church again. Brother, you are no more coming. I the place is too far. I realize the place is too far. Can you stop the work of God? He can't stop it. Somebody did it in Enugu. That one was obvious. There are people doing it.
This man was worshiping in a church. The church was talking about tithe and offering. The man believe in tithe and offering was given as little as comes his way. He got a contract. He said God if I get this contract and do this contract the 10% of it I will give to you. The 10% of that job was the job was or the profit was 10 million. You know what the brother did? As soon as they paid him for the job, the 10 million is his profit. 1 million was his tithe. He used 1 million. What? That was his tithe. Went to ESPS. This thing happened here. Paid for months. Paid for months. What was he preaching there? He began to attack tight. The man has died. He began to attack. That tithe is of the devil. That tight is this. Tight is that diet is this. God is not interested in man failing from their promise. It doesn't bother him. But what makes God angry on men is when they touch principle. You can be doing anything you want to do. You can be insulting a pastor, talking about a pastor, doing everything, doing everything. But once it comes to principle of God, God will no more take it light with people.
You will be an ambassador telling people about Jesus. Where you are, you'll be telling people about Jesus. Put your right two hands on your head. The power of God will come upon you now.
