I don't know who needs to hear this word today, but if you're seeing this video, then that means that you're the one that God wants to speak with today. You're not seeing this video by accident.
God reminded me today that when He gives us a promise—and I've heard this a lot when we prophesy over people and we give them a message—they often ask, "Why is God not doing it? Why am I not seeing all these signs? Why are things not changing?"
The thing is, when God gives you a message, when you receive the promises from God, you must believe in God and trust Him. You know that the faithfulness of God has been evident from generation to generation. The people who have gone before us have prophesied, have written books, and have written scripture—book after book in the Bible testifying of the faithfulness of God.
God also goes ahead and says from His mouth that He is not a man. We should not see God like we see men. Men have the potential to lie, to forget, and to be overwhelmed. That's not God. God created you; He is God. He created everything that is moving.
In the same way, God is saying that in your process of understanding Him, do not look at God as a man. No, God is God. I want you to type that: "What God can do, no man can do." The things that God can do are only what God can do. That's why He says that He is the one who has the power to give life. He is the one who has the power to elevate one and bring another down. Promotions and blessings come from God.
So, when we receive the word of God, we need to move in a way that we understand that God is faithful to His words. First of all, God will fulfill what He has said, what He has promised over your life. Sometimes we might doubt God, and sometimes people might doubt God, but God never doubts His words. He never doubts what He says He will do.
That's why He told Martha, after He went to raise Lazarus from the dead, "Did I not tell you that if you just believe, you will see great things?"
And that's the same thing God is saying to you right now. First of all, He knows the perfect time to step into your situation. Second of all, God has not forgotten about you. He says you are the apple of His eye. You are very important to Him. He has written your name in His palm. He constantly thinks about you.
Even in the book of Jeremiah, it says that these are the thoughts that God is constantly thinking about you: to give you peace, to give you a future and a hope, and no evil intention over your plans.
Sometimes, when we see evil happening in our lives, it overwhelms us. We feel like God has forgotten about us, but that's not the case. God has not forgotten about us.
If there's one thing that can bring encouragement and blessing into our lives, it is understanding that God has gone before us. God is opening all those doors that seem impossible to open. When God says that He will not leave you or forsake you, as we step into 2025, we walk into a season of thriving.
I see titles being passed into your hands. This is the day that you step into your house; you have your brand new car. It's not a used car; you have a brand new car. You step into abundance. This is the time you receive that letter of promotion, of increased salary. This year is going to be amazing because God is stepping in and saying it's a season for His children to be blessed.
God has seen those nights when you are sleepless, struggling with the desires of your heart. God has heard your prayers too. In this season, remember that 2025 is going to be an amazing season—a thriving, beautiful, and glorious season. God is faithful; He will come through for you in this season.
Though the enemy will try to throw lies and tricks into your life, making you feel overwhelmed, making you feel like you can't breathe, making you feel alone and forgotten, remember God says this in the book of Jeremiah 29:11: "I know the thoughts that I have towards you."
I don't know what the enemy is throwing into your life. I don't know what he's telling you at night that keeps you from sleeping. I don't know the mountain he keeps showing you throughout the day. But this is why God is saying, "I know the plans I have for you and the thoughts I think towards you constantly—to give you life, a future, and a hope."
Again, I had the Holy Spirit say there's nothing that the devil can create. The devil can't create anything. The only thing the devil can create is fear. If you see fear in your life, he creates lies, he creates tricks, he distorts the truth, the promises of God, and the possibilities, making them seem impossible.
That's his work. That's why the Bible says to resist the enemy. Watch out because that's his tricks. They are so old; he's been using the same tricks since the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve, and he's still going to use the same ones on you.
You know what he's trying to do? He's trying to make you believe a lie. He's trying to make you doubt God's promise. He's trying to make you fail to stay in that excellent and perfect life that God has created for you.
So, be warned in 2025 that you're going to stay focused. You don't have any Plan A or Plan B; you only have Plan A. That is, you're going to live by every word that God has said over your life. The peace He has given you will allow you to live peacefully every day. The joy of the Lord is your strength; you're going to enjoy and exalt God in your everyday life because that's what God has promised.
Anything that is not inspired by the Holy Spirit, that does not make you feel great, does not make you feel appreciated, encouraged, and motivated, is not from God. So, you have to resist the devil.
How do you resist the devil? By surrendering to God. I want you to type that 2025 is a thriving year for you. You're stepping in with confidence, knowing what God is doing in your life.
God doesn't want you to be blinded by what He's doing this year. Be aware that God is blessing you. This is your year to thrive. This is your year to see the marvelous life that God has released over your life because it's going to be amazing.
As long as you pay attention to the tricks and tactics of the enemy, you'll be able to see what God is doing in your life. You'll be able to count your blessings and give glory to God.
