So, you just finished publishing your book, and your book is now live on Amazon, and you think that sales will just start coming by themselves. I'm sorry, it does not work like that. Even if you have already done your niche research, your keyword research, your competition analysis, you have a good cover, and everything, your material is good, sales are not going to come in. There are things you must do after your book has gone live. And in this video, I'm going to show you over 11 things you need to do immediately after your book has gone live. And this is the biggest difference between big-time sellers on Amazon and those that don't make any money at all on Amazon. So, if you have not been doing any of these things I'm about to show you, make sure you start doing them every time you publish any book on Amazon, and watch how your sales are going to come in.

So, the first thing you need to do immediately you publish your book on Amazon and your book is live is that you need to do your A+ content. I'm amazed at a lot of people that don't do A+ content. In case you don't know what A+ content means, let me show you an example. Look at this book. Now, if you click on it, if you come down, you begin to see all this. This is an example of an A+ content. If you're a beginner, most of the times you don't know about A+ content. When people click on your book, the reason why they are clicking on your book is that they want more information about your book. And description is not enough because description is just words. A lot of people don't have the time to read through everything you have to write in the description. But looking at pictures can give them instant understanding of what your book is about. And that is the point of A+ content. That's why Amazon created A+ content. And if you are not doing A+ content, you are missing out on a lot of sales. If you want to know how to do your A+ content, let me know in the comment section so that I'll teach you the exact process that you're going to use to start doing A+ content.

The second thing that you need to do immediately your book goes live is that you need to start generating reviews immediately. See, right now, if your book does not have reviews on Amazon, you are not going to get sales. So, you need at least 25 reviews for your book to look trustworthy to people that want to buy your book. So, you need to generate as many reviews as possible for your book. If you do not do that and you just leave it to chance, I'm sorry, you're not going to be getting sales from your book. So, how do you generate reviews from your book? If you want to know exactly how to generate reviews for your book, I made a video that you can go and watch. I'll leave the link in the description. It teaches you extensively on how to generate reviews for your book. But let me just list some to help you out. One of the ways is by enrolling your book to Kindle Unlimited. The next thing you can also do to generate good reviews for your book is to get your community, that means people you know, to buy your book and leave good reviews for your book. The next thing you can also do is by going to review sites. The thing is that you have to generate reviews for your book.

The other thing you need to do when your book goes live on Amazon is that you need to start running automatic ad campaigns. This is non-negotiable. If you are in a niche that the competition is high, you cannot leave it to organic ranking. It's not going to work. The reason you must run an automatic ad campaign for your book is that you want Amazon to push your book to as many readers as possible. This is one of the ways that you can actually even test the viability of your book, especially if this is the first time you're entering into a particular niche. And what that does is that it helps you start generating organic sales for your own book. If you want me to make a video on how I run my automatic ad campaign for any book I make whatsoever, let me know in the comment section. But the framework is very simple. I make sure that I budget $5 every day at least for the first one month of my book going live on Amazon. That will power my book, make people see my book, will help my book start generating organic sales for it. And it keeps me ahead of my competitors, especially those that are not running automatic ad campaigns. So, if you are not doing that immediately your book goes live, make sure you start running automatic ad campaigns.

The next thing you need to do immediately after your book goes live is that you need to translate your book. I don't know why people are not doing this. And I've said this from day one of me being on YouTube. You are losing money if you are not translating your books to other languages. I say this a lot. 40% of my revenue, 40% of my revenue from Amazon KDP comes from the non-English speaking market. That is a lot. So, if I make $100, for example, it means $40 came from these other markets. Sometimes it can even be up to 50% of my revenue. A lot of people don't know that the non-English speaking market, France, Spain, Italy, Germany. All these markets are very viable markets, and all you need to do is to get your book translated to German, French, Spanish, and Italian. Your book is now going to be getting extra income from that, and you can do that for free. I made an entire video teaching you how you can actually translate your book from English to other languages. I will leave a link in the description to that video so that you can go and watch it if you are not doing that. It's going to take you less than an hour or two to translate your book entirely and put it there, and that's all. You are going to be getting sales consistently.

The next thing you must do immediately after you publish your book is to link your books to other books that you already have. A lot of people are sleeping on this. I'm going to explain different ways you can do that. First, you can do that from the A+ content. There's a section in the A+ content that you can use to link your book to other books that you have already made. The second thing is you have to go to your author center. Make sure that you put your book there in your author center. The third way is that you place this new book that you have made at the back cover of your other books that you already have, so that when people are buying those other ones that are already selling, they can see the picture of this new one that you have made. What happens is that if you have customers that already like your previous books, it is easy to sell them a new one. That's how to build a brand.

The next thing you have to do immediately your book goes live is that you need to buy a copy of your own book. Make a video of it and upload it in the review section. When people come to buy your books, they need to trust that your book is actually what it is. And when they see a picture or a video of what the book looks like from a customer perspective, it gives them trust to buy your book. It's one thing to just have good reviews, but when they can actually see why people are giving good reviews for that book, your book sales are going to go live. So, it's very easy. Buy a copy of the book, use your phone, make a video, just flip each page. You don't need to flip all pages, just a couple of pages of your book, a few seconds, let's say 13 seconds or 15 seconds. You don't even need to say anything. Just do it, then upload it, and that's all. If you cannot do it by yourself, get somebody else to do it for you and upload it. That's all. When you do that, customers are going to trust what they can see from the other customers' perspective, and your book sales are going to go higher.

The next thing you must do after your book has gone live is put your book on Pinterest. I don't know why people are not talking about this. Pinterest is one of the best ways right now to get customers to buy your book. All you need to do is just take the link of your book and go to Pinterest, open up an account, paste it. That's all. If you want me to make a video about that, let me know in the comment section so I'll show you how you can use Pinterest. Very, very, very easy to get customers. You are doing a planner, you are doing a journal, you are doing whatever, get the link, put it on Pinterest, and watch how your sales are going to go high. So, a lot of people don't do that, and I really don't know why. They don't even talk about it. Pinterest is a very good way to get more sales coming from your book outside of Amazon, and it is actually even free.

The next thing you have to do is that make a complimentary book. When you publish your book on Amazon, make sure that you make a book that complements that book later. I'll give you an example. When you come to Amazon, look at this book. When they found out that this book was selling very well, the next thing they did was that they made another book like this that complemented it. Then they made another one, they made another one, and they made another one. At the end of the day, this is what you want to do for your book. When your book goes live, make a book that complements it. So that after people have finished buying this one, there's something else for them to buy. It might be a workbook example for it. It might be whatever, just make something that complements that book. What you are doing is that you are building a brand for your book. So, don't just publish one book and leave it. Make a book that complements it. The best thing to do actually is to have like three books that complement each other. These books begin to power each other, and they begin to grow your brand and grow your sales. If it's a novel, make a complimentary book to it. If it's a coloring book, make a complimentary book to it. If it's a journal, make a complimentary book to it. Whatever you are doing, make a book that complements it so that when people finish buying it, there's something that they can also buy. If you want me to make a video of how to make books that complement each other, let me know in the comment section.

The next thing you need to do after your book has gone live is that you need to re-evaluate your book cover. And this happens after like two weeks to one month of your book being live on Amazon. This is very important, especially when you notice that you're not getting as much sales as you plan to get. You need to change certain things about your book. And one of the things is your book cover. When you go to your ad reports, you will see clicks and impressions. If you are getting a lot of impressions, but you are not getting a lot of clicks, that way you know that your book cover is the problem. A lot of people immediately they publish their books, they never touch their book cover. And I don't know why they do that. They leave it forever. Except your book is getting a lot of sales, that's when you leave your book. But if your book is not getting as much sales as you plan on getting, it's time to re-evaluate your cover. Maybe your cover is not pulling in the kind of attention it needs to pull in. So, what you now need to do is that you need to make a new cover. I made an entire course about how to design very attractive book covers. If you're interested, there's a link in the description. You can just click on it and go and get the course for yourself. Plus, you get a bonus of 100 highly profitable niches on Amazon and their keywords. So, you can quickly go click on the link in the description and get the course.

The next thing you need to do after re-evaluating your cover is re-evaluating the price of your book. Sometimes you need to increase the price of your book to increase the value that people have towards that book. Most people when they go on, especially a new niche, they try to bring the price of their book down so that they can have a competitive advantage. But that can backfire when people see that your book is very cheap. One of the things they might think of is that your book doesn't have good quality. Sometimes you need to increase the price of your book, and sometimes also you need to reduce the price of your book. And this will be after an extended period of two weeks, one month on Amazon. That is going to give you exactly the time frame for you to judge whether you need to increase your price, reduce your price, or leave your price the same.

The next thing you must do after you have published your book on Amazon is that make a hardback of that particular book. A lot of people don't do that. They just do ebook and paperback and forget about hardback. Hardback is also very important. It's a way to generate extra income. Why are you not doing it? Get your book to have a hardback. There are people that like hardback, though it's more expensive, but you make more money from it. So, it's an extra way to make money. So, make sure that you make a hardback of your book. Every book can have a hardback, whether low content or high content or whatsoever, you can have a hardback for your book. Just make sure that when people come to buy your book, the first thing they see is paperback, not the hardback. And there's a way to go around it.
