The panic is so visible now, and that's why I mean, they never wanted that. They never wanted it to be so obvious that you and I are able to talk about this, and everyone just nods their head and understands what we're saying. The ability to maintain this stranglehold on a bipartisan level on the American consciousness, American public opinion, especially in Washington, has been absolutely central to the Israelis for, you know, as long as Israel has existed. But now the cat is out of the bag, and it's never going back in.
The Israel lobby's in full-blown panic mode. That's just undeniable, and it's actually a sign of encouragement to us dissidents that dare to say, "Hey, we don't want to bankroll this foreign country at the expense and peril of Americans." But Glenn Greenwald breaks down why, why is it now that they're acting so crazily, so insane to push this foreign regime in prioritization above all other issues? He breaks it down here on the Danny Jones Show. Let's take a look at it. Please like the video and subscribe to the channel. And it feels to me like they're intentionally being overt about this and intentionally trying to stir up more controversy over the Israeli influence in the US.
Yeah. Um, but I don't think they're doing it out of miscalculation, but rather panic and necessity. It's hard to overstate for people who only started paying attention to Israel in a really intense and passionate way since, say, October 7th, how different of a world we live in when it comes to the ability to talk about this than basically every, you know, every era before this. You have generations basically since the creation of Israel. You can go back and listen to Harry Truman when the United States was the first country to recognize Israel, when Zionism was still very controversial as a new ideology. Didn't even exist until the, you know, the early 20th century. Basically, we talked about it now like Zionism is a religion. Nobody can question it. But, you know, Zionism is a very new religion. There are a lot of religious dudes who think it's heresy. Um, but, you know, they're outnumbered. I've interviewed them on my show. Um, but, uh, if you, probably the worst accusation that you could stand, uh, accused of of being guilty of in public life was anti-semitism. People were petrified of it. I mean, you could withstand being called a racist more easily or any other, but anti-semitism, anti-being an anti-semite, that was career destruction. And it's not hard to understand why. There are a lot of, you know, very powerful Jewish people. This is just reality. I know, like, people want you not to say it, but in banking, in Hollywood, in media, in politics, in education, in universities. And so there was a lot of power that was packed into that accusation. And I remember one of the first times I ever really confronted this as like someone who was, you know, writing about politics and doing journalism. It was like 2006. Hillary Clinton was running for the Senate in New York. And this was before, like, the Hillary Clinton that we now know, like the super mega establishment Hillary Clinton who was Secretary of State, who advocated wars. This is like the Hillary Clinton who people still thought was kind of like the left-wing Hillary Clinton as she was depicted in the '90s when her husband was president, going back to her Vietnam years when she was a protester, feminist. And when she was running for the Senate in New York, she started taking these very hardline positions, including about Iran. This is like in the midst of the Iraq war. She voted for the Iraq war. She was very hawkish on Iran.
And she had this, uh, finance guy for her campaign named Hank Shankoff. And, uh, someone in, they had this neoconservative Jewish newspaper called the New York Sun. I think it's now defunct, but at the time, it was a big neocon journal. And they asked him like, "Hey, what gives? Why is Hillary Clinton so hawkish now? Like, she seems like she's almost like at the center, even on the right." And he said, "Look, the reality is in New York politics is that, um, Jewish donors are the ATM of New York politics. And you cannot succeed in New York politics unless you become fanatically pro-Israel." And it seems to be the case confirmed on so many levels with not only AOC seeming to tow that line, but also Chuck Schumer to an even more extreme degree. And what I really liked about what Glenn talked about here was that they're in panic mode, not out of a miscalculation. They're actually in panic mode out of necessity. I've portrayed this as the Zionist vision is of like a door closing down the hallway, getting darker and darker. And they think they, they have a time constraint because they do. The American people are turning away from Israel first, the Israel lobby supporting Israel's wars, which the Iran war obviously is, and they think they only have a small time frame to really consummate and carve out the greater Israel project, to expand the borders of Israel, prioritize Israel, keep the money spigots flowing to Israel and Netanyahu. That's why you saw them making excuses for the genocide in Gaza. That's why you see them making excuses for hate speech codes and the lobbying efforts behind that on a local level in the United States. So I think Glenn's exactly right about that. This is panic for necessity. They are dying out. It's a great source of encouragement for us that are critics of Israel, but it's something that we're seeing out in the open for really the first time as well.
And I wrote about this. This is a Jewish finance director of Hillary Clinton saying this. I'm Jewish. I was writing about it because he actually said it. And I remember it was like the first time I really got attacked like in a serious orchestra right away. Yeah, 2006.
Wow.
It was like, you're an anti-semite. This is a trope that Jews control everything, that they have all the money, they use. I was like, no, but I'm not the one saying it. I'm just reporting like this is the reality of what this guy is saying to what neocon Jewish newspaper, the New York Sun. And then it was that year that John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt, the professors, uh, at Harvard and University of Chicago, wrote an essay in, in, uh, that they couldn't get published in the United States. They published in the London Review of Books called The Israel Lobby, and they turned it into a book in 2007, which was the first real mainstream scholarly attempt to drag the Israel lobby out into the light because, as you said, they had been hiding in the kind of, you know, operating in the shadows, the way most lobbies prefer to.
That article and that book, The Israel Lobby, with Stephen Walt and John Mearsheimer, is the best book to read on this subject, and it's so prophetic because that was released in 2007. It's incredible how ahead of the curve that book was because it really depicts these tentacles of power in the form of the Israel lobby entrenched in the United States. And Glenn's right about, you know, just reporting on this stuff would be portrayed as an anti-con, uh, anti-semitic conspiracy theory. You're a kook. You're a Jew hater. You're a blood libelist, etc. But that's what they are talking about. It's reporting what they're talking about. It's like when Trump boasts about giving everything he can to the Adelsons on behalf of Israel. He boasts about it at times and says like, "Hey, Miriam Adelson's allegiance might be closer to Israel than the United States." If me or you said that, we would be just smeared for the same reasons. We'd be called anti-semites for that. But when Trump does it, he gets away with it. Why? Because he supports Israel. It's not about being pro or anti-Jew. It's about whether or not you want to keep the money flowing to Israel, keep the wars going, the intelligence operations, and all the hate speech codes going into the United States for the sake of that country. That's what it's about. That's why they smear you. Not whether you dislike Jews or not. Glenn Greenwald's a Jew. Jeffrey Sachs is a Jew. Dave Smith is a Jew. Norman Finkelstein's a Jew. And all the above have been smeared as being anti-semites. But it's not because of the Judaism. It's because they don't adhere to just complete and utter submission to this foreign government above all other concerns.
Not just them, but most lobbies. And I, I was shocked by just how these like very well-respected, you know, faculty members at our leading institutions, among the best, you know, most regarded, uh, international relations scholars in the world, just instantly overnight got turned into Jew-hating bigots, you know, anti-semites. And that was when I realized, wow, this is something you can't talk about. Just my personality is okay. Well, then I'm gonna talk about it as much as possible. So, all I can tell you is this is how they operated for so long. They were in the shadows, and they were incredibly effective. You know, I would be screaming about this, like, we would hear, Republicans and Democrats can't agree on anything. And then you would get some AIPAC resolution that they would put before Congress, you know, when Israel was bombing Gaza in 2014, for example. Not as much as they did in 2023, but they, it was a serious bombing campaign. And they had some resolution AIPAC wanted put before the Senate and the House, and it passed like the Senate 90-2, saying we are on Israel's side, we side with Israel, we stand with Israel. And the House is like 431 to 6. And it's like, you don't see bipartisan consensus on any issue other than this very controversial country. And this very, so the power is so obvious, but it operated in the shadows.
Yeah.
This is so true. If you want to think that Washington's really a clash of ideologies rather than being a uniparty, look no further than the Israel issue. And I'll admit that's an extreme example of it. But really, what bipartisan generally means is that the party of stupid and the party of evil get together and collaborate to do things that are particularly both stupid and both evil. And that's what you have with all this foreign aid to Israel. Really shows the bipartisan nature of this. Now, that's changing a little bit, certainly so, especially with younger people in the culture. But politically, the political machine is based on a bipartisan uniparty effort to give funding to Israel at the expense of Americans, at the production of debt and inflation, at the peril of us, at the peril of our losses of civil liberties, and even things like federal disaster relief statutes being rewritten, rules, I should say, to make it so organizations critical of Israel can't receive disaster relief funding. That was a big story a few months ago. So, yeah, Glenn's exactly right about this. Monetary-med.com/vault for monetary metals. Because if you care about liberty and sound money, then you probably already understand why gold matters. It's preserved purchasing power over thousands of years while governments debase paper currency. But most people think about gold as something you store away in a vault and forget about. But that just means your gold sits there doing nothing. And that's where Monetary Metals steps in. They built a system where you can earn yield on your gold, paid in gold. So instead of selling your gold for dollars to invest, you can keep your wealth in gold and still earn a return. Depending on the opportunity, clients can earn up to about 4% yield in gold, paid in more gold. Monetary Metals offers gold owners a way to put their metal into productive use instead of relying on the fiat financial system. It's the perfect hedge against inflation. So if you already own gold or you're thinking about owning some, this is well worth looking into. monetary-med.com/vault to learn how you can start earning a return on your gold. Monetary Metals has my full enthusiastic endorsement. It's the ultimate lifeline to protect yourself against the corrupt financial system. Now, let's get back into the conversation.
What happened was the combination of what they did in Gaza and just the absolute like moral atrocity of it, and the fact that we now have independent media. So, you know, if this had happened 10 years ago, no one would have seen it. Now you have, you know, people in Gaza with their own phones uploading every day, and you have, you know, people who aren't afraid to show this, and you have all these people consuming it on TikTok and everywhere else.
And the polls just started immediately collapsing in, in the United States. And you had major figures like Tucker, who never talked about Israel before October 7th. I was on a show a thousand times before October 7th on his Fox show. Never once went there to talk about Israel. Asked me about to talk about that. But a lot of people were like, I can't avoid what I'm seeing. This is, and it wasn't just what Israel was doing. It was the fact the United States was paying for it, financing it all, arming it, diplomatically and militarily, militarily protecting. We were completely a party to the war. And young people, first, and then lots of other people, started finally seeing the truth. And that's what finally dragged the Israel lobby out into the open was that they couldn't afford any longer to kind of have this subtle operation. And they had to really like go after people on the, I mean, you see what they're doing to try and do to Tucker. Um, I think.
Yeah, that's exactly right. For the first time, Americans saw a genocide streamed in 4K, these videos that went out on TikTok. That's why there was this big ruse that we have to shut down TikTok. It wasn't for apprehensions that the Chinese were stealing your data. It was actually a lot of the atrocities from Gaza getting out on TikTok that they didn't want to see. How do we know that for sure? Well, it seems to be confirmed more and more as the sale of TikTok was signed off on by the United States to guess who? John or, uh, Ellison. So, Larry Ellison, his son, and Andreas and Horowitz, all of whom are diehard Zionists. Ellison being the CEO and maybe founder of Oracle. I'm not sure if he was founder or not. But now you have a media platform, social media platform that cracks down on that stuff, and there it doesn't seem to be any more calls to ban TikTok because it shifted into the right hands in the eyes of the Israel lobby. That's what you have. The most understated story of the last year is the fact that you have this app TikTok, uh, which TikTok, TikTok, which, uh, was used voluntarily by a third of the American population, talking about tens of millions of people, and was easily the most popular for American young people. And it was really one of the apps, the only social media platforms that the government couldn't completely control the way they did with Google and, uh, Facebook, Meta, and the rest because they're so dependent on the American government. They were allowing a lot more free speech on the things the American government cares about, like Israel, which is why they were, and a lot of people have this misperception that they decided to ban TikTok because of China. It was in 2020 when Trump said, "Let's ban TikTok because of China." It went nowhere. No one took it seriously. It didn't get anywhere near the vote. It lingered for years. It was only after October 7th, and the ADL in January 2024 says, "We, we have a big TikTok problem. We need to ban TikTok." And then suddenly the Democrats get on board with it. The Biden administration gets behind it. They banned a social media app in the United States, the thing we accused China of doing, or Iran, or Russia, or whatever. And then they force its sale to Larry Ellison, the single largest donor in history, private donor to the IDF, to the Friends of the IDF. He puts an IDF soldier in charge of content moderation. It's all done right out in the open. And it's, you know, and then he buys CBS News and puts Barry Weiss in charge. Like, the panic is so visible now. And that's why I mean, they never wanted that. They never wanted it to be so obvious that you and I are able to talk about this, and everyone just nods their head and understands what we're saying. This was, if you said this five years ago, even if you had me on my show and we talked about this.
And you talked about the Epstein class and the Rothschilds and AIPAC, you would be destroyed.
Totally.
Absolutely. We're living in a new world today, thankfully. And although there are a lot of voices that are still out there on these subjects, like Ben Shapiro and Douglas Murray and Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabee and Laura Loomer, you do have counterweights to it. You have counter activists, counter messaging on this that does reflect the truth. The truth that dissidents have known for a long time but just didn't have an outlet for. That's what YouTube is. That's what Rumble is. That is what Twitter is to a large extent. And we have this ability to broadcast our thoughts and get heard by millions of people now, like dissidents never had the opportunity to do in the past. So that's why you see the full-blown panic mode. It's palpable. It's visible. And it's because we have these outlets for the first time.
But now the cat is out of the bag, and it's never going back in.
Not only would you be destroyed, but on social media apps like YouTube, your content would be completely invisible to people.
Yeah. Or banned or suppressed or whatever. Some, some level of suppression that they, they were doing like all the time when Biden was president.
The United Israel, since its inception, since its creation in 1947, has basically been a dependent state of the United States. They, we, they've been completely reliant on the United States, and it's gotten increasingly reliant. We pay more and more for them. We give more and more to them. We go more and more at war for them, more and more readily, more and more easily. And, and I, I don't mean things like, oh, we went to the Iraq war for them. Leave that aside. I mean things like anytime they're in any kind of conflict, we deploy our military to that region explicitly to defend and protect Israel, put our service members in harm's way to defend them. It's a tiny little country. Why are they so powerful? Because they've been feeding off of the United States like, like some kind of leech. You know, they stole our nuclear secrets. They've had spies at the highest levels of our government. And.
That's exactly right. It's a parasitic relationship with them as the parasite. And yet, it seems like they weigh into our government and our government policies far more than in the opposite direction. In fact, all these boots on the ground rumors that might happen in Iran haven't gotten confirmation of that. It's a distinct possibility with actual deployments of soldiers like Marines and the 82nd Airborne into the region. We have confirmation from Netanyahu. No IDF forces will be on the ground in Iran, even though it's his war. It's his territorial ambition. Iran isn't a threat to the United States. So, yeah, it is the empire-building project of America to maintain presence in the Middle East, and it is to protect Israel, not to protect the United States. They won't even pretend that it's protecting the United States. At some times, they'll say, "Hey, our interests are in stake at stake in the region." And what they mean is that they want to try to monopolize, you know, oil reserves, use coercive tactics to do that. That's what they've done in many cases regarding the GCC countries. But at the same time, Iran isn't a military threat to the United States. Israel suspects it is, but it isn't that. It's that Israel just wants to destroy that country. When there was a JCPOA, there was no war. That took war off the table. And Trump shredded the JCPOA at the strong recommendation of Netanyahu, by the way, to put war back on the table. And that's what we're seeing play out right now.
And this is something that has been so central, and it's not central to their survival. It's central to their ability to dominate the region, to steal land, to expand, you know, to have more Lebanon's realm as the Germans, you know, used to say. And so the ability to maintain this stranglehold on a bipartisan level on the American consciousness, American public opinion, especially in Washington, has been absolutely central to the Israelis for, you know, as long as Israel has existed. And to watch it now all kind of unravel. And I, I do, I do think the main reason is independent media. Like, you can try and censor now all you want, but there's enough places you can go and and and that offer free speech. Um, there's people who are just too big to censor, like, like Rogan, um, but, and Tucker, uh, and a lot of other people who have been just, you know, very willing to finally talk about this issue. And, you know, David Ellison and his dad, his daddy, Larry Ellison, they can buy up like CBS and now they're trying to buy, you know, Warner Brothers and CNN and everything else. They can buy all all that they want. This is never going to reverse. Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. Or, you know, Paramount and CBS News, like it's not nothing.
But in the, it's kind of like trying to build a little brick wall to stop a tsunami.
Yeah, that's a really good analogy. Build a brick wall to stop a tsunami. The tsunami being the public outcry against these atrocities, against this unholy union, America's greatest ally. That's exactly what it is. And we're seeing Americans flee from it for the first time in my lifetime. I never thought that this would really happen, especially on the right, where you're seeing younger people just reject the Israel-first mentality wholesale. It doesn't seem to manifest in political changes yet because AIPAC still has a stranglehold. And like Glenn Greenwald said, it's not nothing. They're trying to buy up and they have bought up CBS and Paramount. They've actually made a bid to buy out CNN and make a, you know, a giant media conglomerate that's needs, they need it somehow. It's already a very pro-Zionist outlet, CNN. So is CBS, but you're getting Barry Weiss in there. She's even more ardently Zionist. Uh, so it's not nothing. And, and I think TikTok is more than not nothing, if that makes any sense, because TikTok is a major active social media platform. Very popular platform. Tons of users, tons of videos, tons of activity there. That is more major in the long run than getting Paramount and CBS. I think even though Paramount eats into propaganda that comes from Hollywood and, you know, the movies industry. So the acquisition of TikTok, especially, it's something. But there is that giant counterbalance, as he said, other social media platforms, Rumble, YouTube, X, etc. People are talking about this more openly than before, and you're not going to put the cat back in the bag. I think that's an encouraging sign. In fact, I think it's one of the most encouraging signs, and it goes hand-in-hand with the rise of the independent media. As much as they yell, as much as they scream, as much as they screech blood libel and anti-semitism, we're actually getting the truth in a lot of ways for the first time in front of the eyes of the American populace. Now, older people are not exactly fleeing to these new independent media outlets at nearly the same rate. There are some, some of them watch this channel, but this is a younger dynamic, and it's going to shift more and more in that direction as time goes on. The pendulum shifted. I don't think you can stop it at this point, and we are going to get more critiques of Israel. Now, will that manifest in the loss of tangible lobbying power in Washington? Will AIPAC stop having as much power as before? Probably. But to me, I don't think that's immediate. I think that's going to take some time. But maybe within 10 years, you're going to have presidential candidates instead of arguing who supports Israel more, they'll be arguing over who wants to support Israel less. That is what the American people want to hear at this point. And you might see that even if, once they're elected, they go back on that and support the Israel lobby, which I think's exactly likely. You might see that sort of tactic from say, JD Vance, sticks out completely in that regard, who's being trotted out as an Iran war propagandist right now to talk about the threat that didn't exist, by the way, of Iran's nuclear weapons that were supposedly destroyed back last summer, and the absurd prospect of nuclear suicide vests. Talked about that with Dave Smith and Safed Amuse and Daniel McAdams. All absurd propaganda trotting him out as a non-interventionist when he's actually pushing for the case to maintain this war. But what do you think? Do you think this will play out into the future of American politics? Is Glenn right about the Israel lobby? Why are they in panic mode? Is there something more to it that me and him didn't catch here? Let me know in the comments down below. Like the video, subscribe to the channel. Also, check out Danny Jones. Great interview.
