Hey guys, today let's learn how to turn on audio description on YouTube. So if you guys want to go ahead and use this new audio description option on your YouTube applications, in this video tutorial I'm going to teach you guys how to enable this step by step. So please watch this video until the end to find out how.
So basically, YouTube has launched this new feature to basically utilize multilanguage audio to add audio descriptive tracks on your own videos. So how do you basically enable this? Well, in order for us to have this feature enabled on our device, we'll basically we need to make sure as well that our YouTube application is updated to the latest version. So go ahead and search for the YouTube application on the App Store and if it is updated, just go ahead and launch it.
And what we need to do from here is to proceed with accessing our audio or audio description options. So let's go. Going over on our feed over here and let's scroll over here until we see the option to edit our audio description and if it is actually possible. So in this case, if you still cannot locate where that is, I'm going to see if it is actually located right here.
So basically, what we need to do to have this feature is to go ahead and access your channel. So tap on your profile on your top right corner and tap on your channel. And I want you to go ahead and basically tap on manage videos. Now you can manage your own videos on here. And what I want you guys to do is to go ahead and tap on this three dots option and tap on edit. But in this case, you could also go ahead and tap on edit advanced in the Studio. And this is what I'm going to prefer you guys to do because we are going to have some advanced settings on here. And the specific setting to enable and use the audio description is also going to be located right here.
So all we need to do from here, guys, is to locate the specific setting to turn on our audio description. Now it is going to be located under the subtitles option right here as soon as you post this video. But in the case that you still can't locate your option over here, well, you could actually go ahead and try to upload your own video right here, see the subtitles option, and then directly enable the audio description on there and post it as well with the audio description on.
Now, you do need to keep in mind that if you don't have this option available on your device, YouTube does roll out this new feature only on specific countries for testing and doesn't really roll out to the whole worldwide option or worldwide users just yet.
