Hello, welcome to my session. Um, I hope you can hear me. Look, girl. Um, this would be interesting if I actually post this on YouTube. This is my lecture on morals. This is my lecture on morals.

I read very tiny bit of philosophy. I watched more lectures and videos than I actually read philosophy. Um, and I'm making breakfast for a hotel right now. So, this is going to be a a crazy rant. But uh yeah, my philosophy on worlds, it's not like my philosophy, it's just a rant. This is truly just rant.

I randomly started listening to this lecture on Niche and like his view on religion yada yada and like how we need to go away from what is good and evil and uh we should, you know, look away from the weak and if they're weak, they're just lazy or whatever. Look, I don't know. I may be getting this wrong. But the thing I got stuck on is that at a certain point there was talk about why should we even consider morals like in the end like there would be this comparison to animals okay like in in the end we are all animals right um I'll be back and on its own I already really hate this argument of like you know we are all like animals we're like look at the animal kingdom they like kill each other and it's fine there's no rules Sure, the animals usually don't have a prefont prefrontal cortex that as big as ours and they don't really have the capacity to do that. But the thing is we do, we do have the capacity to do that. Um animals are not refusing to think about morals. Okay. Uh as long as they are not doing a really good show for us, animals just actually don't have the capacity to think about what's right or what's wrong, what's the emphatic thing to do, you know, they just kind of don't don't have that going on so much. Um but we do. So this comparison is ridiculous. Like that's just an excuse because as you actually do have the capacity to do it, then it's just lazy not to do it. It's just selfish and cruel not to do it.

And ultimately my whole think of morals here that I will be talking about is that you know like with Nietze in this like is it just a lecture about niche? It's not even n I read n when I was like 17. I understood [ __ ] So like don't take me by my word. This may not be correct when it comes to um but ultimately what like this lecture was mentioning is that you know now as religion is dying, God is dead and all of that and all of that funky stuff. Um we need to build our own morals, right? And uh you know like this whole building morals thing I I feel like this is such a frequent thing in philosophy like like I said I didn't actually read a lot of philosophy you know I try to read a little bit of shopen hour I think it was him and he has a whole chapter that's called woman and I just read a little bit but it's just talking about how we are basically an absolute idiot. One needs only to see the way she's built to realize that woman is not intended for great mental or for great physical labor. She expedates the guilt of life not through activity but through suffering through the pains of childbirth, caring for the child and subjection to the man to whom she should be a p patient and cheering companion. Great suffering, joy, exertion is not for her. Her life should flow by more quietly, trivy, gently. Her life should flow by more I don't know. English is not my first language than the mans without being essentially happier or unhappier. Um, women are suited to be the nurses and teachers and blah blah. I confirm it's it's shopen hour. Let's cancel him. Okay, don't cancel me. Cancel him. What is this? Um, I didn't read the whole book yet, but I just look look. Oh, is Chopenar talking to me through this light? You stupid mentally un laborable woman. What are you talking about? Why are you um Yeah, I confirm. I confirm. I'm the fact check here. I just checked this fact. I don't think I will check any other facts, but I think this is a very interesting read. I will one read the whole thing actually, but I just saw that when I was like going through it when I ordered it and uh um so let me give you a little woman around you know I really I have a problem with philosophy. really hard for me to read a lot of biography because like I do understand there's good ideas but then there is some you know like I just have a problem with reading somebody's preachings about the nature of real nature of reality and then I know they have a slave at home or uh I know their love life was like DJ's love life pure [ __ ] Salom you know like poor sal was not it was not Salom Salom is a biblical character What was her name? Jesus Christ, I forgot. You know, that poor girl um that he was fighting over with this another guy and they kind of completely forgot that she's like a real human in the midst of that. Um, you know, it's just kind of hard for me to like uh take somebody's word on a nature of reality and morals and yada yada. And I just know their personal life from like history is totally [ __ ] And they treat people terribly. They treat minorities and women mainly terribly. And I'm like, why should I listen to what you're saying? Like I really think, you know, being a like a full- developed human who has good ideas is all connected. I think if you're inherently a cruel, selfish person, you're going to have a hard time to produce like a proper philosophy on existence. I really don't. I don't know. know like you know there would be things we could like find but I I truly I just have a maybe if we're going to talk about nature of life and the humans etc. I really have a hard time going to listen to an old man who still didn't solve his mommy issues. Yap about the nature of a human. I you know like what do you know? How are you? I don't know.

Um anyway so the rant starts here but basically what I see as a frequent tendency in philosophy is there's this need to come up with a moral structure to come up with the ultimate morals playbook. God is dead. We need to come up with new morals. I know I think also Kant had a whole thing on morals. I just saw that in the good time which is a TV show. But as a humans, maybe philosophy are super obsessed with figuring out like this ultimate moral playbook and uh and what did I want to say? You know, like it's almost like again I don't know that much about it, but I know Plato had this whole thing like where you have this perfect idea of a of a chair or whatever. There's a perfect idea of something. There must this perfect ultimate idea from which all of the other things come, which I think is complete abstract [ __ ] to be honest. And I'm like, "Bro, you need to go and get a life." Anyway, oh my god, all the fellows of these students are going to hate me so much if this is actually like if I just lost it and I posted it on YouTube, they're going to despise me.

Um anyway, um I think that's ridiculous when it comes to just being moral because I Why do you need a playbook? Why do you need God above you or Khan's book above you or you know why do you need a system of morals to be a good person? Why like shouldn't that be like ingrained in you? Shouldn't you have a natural need to not hurt other people? I'm not SM different thing. You can have a natural need to hurt other people and I may volunteer, but like an actual need to like actually cause pain, but like pain that lasts, pain that wasn't asked for and yada yada all kind of pain and all of that. Um, you know, I really feel like this would be like a natural thing in a in a good human being, right? Um, to just be a good human. Wait, I'll like the fact that we had need needed so many gods and so many philosophic etc just to like come up with some kind of a moral code is ridiculous to me and it's terrifying. It's truly terrifying because I don't know about you personally. I want to be a good person and not hurt other people just because just because it sickens me to imagine I would hurt someone if I if it's like not of course like if you hurt someone by telling your true feelings and yada yada there is nuance obviously there's nuance um and you know I think like and I think all of these moral things they would discuss sometimes like you know act by act so is murder moral is suicide moral is is cheating moral is this moral Impossible. Impossible. You You would need to talk about so many alternatives, specific scenarios and nuance in that. But like you cannot just like classify murder as immoral or moral. Yeah, even that you can it can be self-defense, you know, like in that case you can be protecting 10 children from a serial killer and if you kill the serial killer then that was the moral thing to do. So, you know, like it's of course you cannot decide with that. But what I would use as an ultimate guideline if somebody really needs it, it's simple. It doesn't need a whole religion. It doesn't need a whole book. It's ultimately just don't put your pleasure over somebody's pain. That's it. It's simple like that. Simple like that. And I'm specifically talking about pleasure because, you know, like for me, this is [clears throat] why I, for instance, am a well, I'm a pescatarian, not a vegetarian, because I have knee problems. So, I did have to start eating some kind of a meat. So, I chose to start eating fish. But in this scenario, I'm not putting my taste buds over the fish's life and suffering. I am putting my health. So that's why I, you know, I think I'm put like specifically pleasure. If it's health, if it's your life and you know like health, you could talk about health also and you're just going to tell somebody like you hurt somebody by telling them that you don't love them or whatever. You know, in the end, that's your well-being. That's your actual like mental health. Because if you just dated this person instead of telling them truth that with which you're going to hurt them, it's not just like you're putting pleasure over it. It's not about pleasure. That's about actual well-being and sense of independence and freedom and yada. So so many more things. But I feel like most of evil acts are ultimately by you putting pleasure over somebody else's pain. And look, I have no problem with pleasure. Love pleasure. Okay, pleasure is great. Um, but uh you should never put it over somebody's pain ever. If you put pleasure over somebody's pain, that's what makes you a bad person. But you would not do that if you just, you know, like the empathy like this is like why why do we need so many books and teachings and preachings about this? Why why is not empathy just like a natural thing? You know, it really makes me just so confused um when I see all of these old dead men at this point be like just fascinated about like things that are so simple. It's so simple. You don't like if you, you know, if you need to write multiple books just to like figure out a moral codeex for yourself to not be a douchebag, like maybe go and like talk to people instead or something. go in a go for a retreat, you know, like go go fix your relationship with your mom, you know, like I don't know, go do something because it's just it's not that difficult, you know? It's really not that difficult.

So, the whole notion of having to like us humanity having to come up with all of these [ __ ] moral systems and then fighting which moral system is right and which moral system is wrong. There is no such thing as a perfect idea of a moral system. Same as there is no such thing as a perfect idea of a chair, Plato. Oh my god. Um, you know, I feel like really people sometimes need to like stop living in uh abstract and in their heads. And I'm saying this as an artist, okay? I studied film making for most of my life, like nine years. Um, so look, I live in the abstract a lot. Uh I I love the abstract but you know also sometimes you really need to get out of there and like live the real life actually like step on the ground take a big breath and look around and be like oh [ __ ] there is like other people [clears throat] here with me oh and they also have like feelings oh wow they they are have like they're also conscious like me [sighs] like I really feel like a lot of people just never fully developed past the like child egoentrism stage where you kind of just cannot make people external objects like everybody is your internal object, you know, like you just cannot figure out that this is somebody who's just who's outside of you and that you can like actually heard and who's just not there to regulate you. Um I feel like a lot of adult people struggle with this notion and even adult people who go and write uh philosophy books, you know. I don't know.

Um look, maybe I should like actually read read those books properly. Um, not when I was 17, before I [ __ ] I'm not bitching about Niche here, by the way. This is not a [ __ ] about anything specific. This is just a a random rant. This is random rant. Uh, this is a big opinion burst. Um, I'm not attacking any specific school of thought. I'm not attacking any specific fold over here because I don't know enough to do that. Um, but what I'm doing is just like really pondering at this need to construct moral systems. need to follow religions, [clears throat] follow philosophies, yada yada. Um, just so to like be a decent person, you know, that's and the idea of having to follow something to be a decent person cuz otherwise you don't have it like naturally in you is just ridiculous. You don't because if you're actually a decent person, you're [clears throat] not going to need any of that. You will have a natural urge. And I'm really terrified by the fact that obviously a lot of people don't have a natural urge. And it's not just like serial courage and stuff. It's a lot of people. It's a lot of people. But um you know like uh if you have this natural urge you don't need to go and follow these things. So if you actually go and follow these things if you need this something above maybe God maybe fellows of yada yada um to guide you to be a good person. Are you really doing it to be a good person? Because if you truly wanted to be a good person you already would be you know like it would be in you. You would feel it. You would be a good person. And if you're not a good person, why would you want to be a good person? It's it's hard, you know, just go and remain a bad person. But you don't want to do that because you don't want to feel shame. You don't want to feel guilt. You don't want to feel none of these things. So, you're going to go and look at all of these philosophies, moral codexes you can follow and you can like debate about. You can find little loopholes to go through um to still do the bad things while remaining in this image of yourself that you're this amazing moral hero. um just go and be a dick. Truly, like if that's that that's even more selfish than just being a terrible person if you're going to and try to actually defend that.

Uh, this was my little rant. Ultimately, how to be moral is to just not put your pleasure over somebody else's pain and to mean it. To well, if you don't mean it, still preferably do it. But I mean, if you don't mean it, I don't I don't. Where's the hope? I don't know where's the hope for that. It's just like I hope there is hope for that. I don't know. Have you never been hurt? Like, have you ever been hurt? Well, imagine you're doing that to somebody else. Like, this is like a kindergarten stuff. Why? Why? You know, I don't know. This is very disappointing. This is my little rant. um that if I may feel super crazy, I will post on YouTube and embarrass myself.
