The Power Is In The Seed | Bishop S. Y. Younger

Let's go to Zechariah chapter 4. Zechariah chapter 4. I'm only going to it because you really confirmed uh what the Lord placed on my heart. Zechariah 4 verse number one. Zechariah 4:1. When you have it in your your Bible or your smart device, shout, "I have the bread."

Well, I'm going go with the 15 of y'all. Then the angel who talked with me returned and woke me up like someone awakened from sleep. He asked me, "What do you see?" Isn't that something? He's having a God moment once he gets still.

See, sometime God got to get you still so you can hear him. And a lot of us when we when we're sharing it and says, "Oh, the Lord spoke to me." And you're like, "Well, I have never heard God speak to me." And many are even questioning does God still speak? There's some cessationists uh biblical sessationist that said no that was in a specific era of time where God spoke. God don't really speak to his people. Well, I wouldn't be in a relationship with somebody who don't speak to me.

The question is is not the question is not whether God speaks or not. The question is can you hear him? He that have an ear, let him hear what the spirit is saying, not say it, what he's saying to the church. God is, look at somebody, tell them, God is still speaking.

I mean, if you I mean, if you I mean, you can stay up all night and watch five Netflix episodes back to back. If you can do that, you can stay up at night and hear God. Listen what he says. I answered. He said, "I see a gold lamp stand with a bowl at the top and seven lamps on it with seven channels to the lamps. Also, there are two olive trees by it. One on the right of the bowl and the other on its left." I asked the angel who talked with me, "What are these, my Lord?" He answered, "Do you not know what these are?" He said, "No, no, I don't." Verse six.

So, he said to me, it's like almost like you should know, right? Uh verse um six he said to me this is the word of the Lord to Zerubabel not by might nor by power but by my spirit says the Lord Almighty what are you mighty mountain but for Zerubable you will become level ground then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of God bless it God bless it then the word of the Lord came to me the hands of Zerubabah [clears throat] have laid the foundation of this temple his hands will also do What?

Finish it.

Finish it. Complete it. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. Who dares despise the day of small things? King James version says small beginnings. Since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel. Then I asked the angel, "What are these two olive trees on the right and in the left of that lampstand?" Again, I asked him, "What are these two olive branches beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil?" He replied, "Do you not know what these are?" "No, that's why I asked." Verse 14, "These are the two who are anointed to serve the Lord of all the earth." And all of God's people said, "Amen."

Amen. just for a a few moments now. Uh this will be the fifth message you've heard today. Started with sister Alicia. I want to speak to you from the message entitled The Power is in the seed.

My power is in the seed.

The power is in the seed. I know sometime we are fascinated or annoyed by the creativity of preachers now either inspired or just preach don't drive another car in the church but I want you to know Jesus was an illustrative preacher. He used what was available and what was around him. uh to minister truths to the people that they would understand when he ministered to the people and even Apostle Paul says when I came to you I didn't come to you with fancy speech if I speak to you today and you like wow he's smart I don't know really what he was talking about then I missed my assignment

my job is is not for you to be impressed by me it's for you to be blessed by And so Jesus used what was around him. That's what parables are. Parables are earthly stories with heavenly meaning.

And so sometime the intellectual can't even receive the weighted thing of God.

Let me tell you something in here. God is not anti-nowledge and anti- information.

As a matter of fact, he's omniscience. He's all knowing.

BUT WHEN YOU COME TO GOD, YOU CAN'T come to God with just with your head.

THE THE CARNAL MIND, THE FLESHLY MIND, the worldly mind cannot comprehend the things of God.

Because they have to be spiritually discerned. I want you to touch somebody. Tell them, "Just be open."

See, some people can't receive because they're too full.

Full of themselves. I found out a lot of times people don't have knowledge as much as they just have information.

See the word know in the scripture where it says Adam knew Eve, it didn't mean Adam had information about her. It mean he had intimacy with her. And there are some people who want to debate you, but all they got is information about God. They don't have knowledge about God. Knowledge means I have a intimate relationship with Jesus.

And that's why when if you preach a strong word, people be like, "That ain't Jesus."

Cuz Jesus don't judge. [laughter]

You don't know Jesus then.

The word of the Lord will heal and cut.

Hallelujah. He'll plant and root up. I see when you have an intimate relationship with Jesus, you know Jesus will fix it some nights where you can't sleep until you apologize.

See, I know y'all heard Jesus say everything else, but you IF YOU REALLY WALK WITH JESUS, YOU'LL FEEL HIM TUG ON YOU sometime and say, "Be quiet. Shut up. Shut up. You talking too much."

And so he took uh uh these natural things and he spoke heavy divine meanings. And you right, Pastor Will. We do look at Moses's encounter with God with the burning bush. But I'm going to tell you that burning bush in itself was not a phenomenon.

A bush being on fire for us maybe it would be, but not somebody who works in the desert of Arizona.

Not not not somebody who understands dry climate. Just the the right frequency of things can cause a bush to catch on fire. The miracle is not that the bush was on fire. It's that it was on fire and it wasn't being burned up.

It wasn't being consumed. And are you ready for the second miracle in that?

Moses noticed

because he could have saw it. Oh, another burning bush. Yeah. Yeah.

No. No. But he still stood he still he stood still long enough to notice that it wasn't being consumed. My question is how many burning bushes have you walked past [cheering] and you missed out that God was speaking through it? See some of the things you think is a mundane routine and THAT'S JUST LIKE CHURCH. JUST LIKE OH I know church. Oh I've been a part of church before. You've never been a part of this church before. You've never been here in this place in your life. You've never been this age. You've never had children like this before. You've never been in this culture.

Don't think you know cuz the moment you think you know, you miss it.

Hallelujah. So Jesus is using parables. And what does he use most time in his teaching? He uses agricultural terms. He talks about sewing seeds >> and how when the seed or the word of the Lord goes out sometime falls on good ground and sometime it falls among thorns. This is when you while you're in the service it it's penetrating you and then a mind that's not submitted to God ends up questioning everything >> and something you were blessed by now you're wondering and now you become very skeptical. Oh, it's a good word. And then you go out to eat with the wrong people after church. [laughter]

You sitting in a barber shop and people who don't even read their Bible, you're listening at them to be your scholar and your theologian. And now you fell on some YouTube channel. [laughter] Let me tell you something. You can have a masters in theology, but you can't have a masters in God.

You don't you don't have a monopoly on God. We know him and we're still knowing him. And the Lord is speaking to us through his teaching on seeds. I want you to write this down. All you notetakers, how you handle your seed is a reflection of how you see it.

Sometime people would dismiss something because they don't see the value in [clears throat] it.

How you talk about it,

how you handle it. It can be a small thing but how you how you handle it is a reflection of how you see it. Ne uh Nemiah chapter 6 uh verse three says he Nemiah's handle starting to rebuild the walls and he says people tried to pull me down from building the wall and they said come down and talk to us and he says I cannot come down hear me what he what he says Nemiah chapter 6:3 he said I can't stop doing what I'm doing because what I'm working on is a great work.

I'm not asking you about what people are saying about you.

My question is, what are you saying about you?

Because they were joking him. They were saying, "OH, THAT LITTLE WALL NEHEMIAH working on, if a RACCOON RUN ACROSS IT, IF A FOX RUN ACROSS IT, IT'S JUST GOING to collapse. Oh, that little church. Oh, that little business. You know how people put L in front of something >> to downplay it. BUT IT'S NOT ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE working on. It's about what YOU SAY. SEE, WHAT DROWNS A BOAT IS NOT THE WATER THAT'S AROUND IT. It's the water that GETS IN IT. AND I WANT TO TELL YOU, KEEP YOUR HEART PURE BECAUSE PEOPLE ALWAYS BE SAYING STUFF AROUND YOU, BUT YOU GOT TO MAKE SURE YOU don't let that stuff get in you. [applause] Hear what I'm saying. Uh Nehemiah says, "I'm I'm working on a great thing. This is a great work." And I want you TO KNOW, WHATEVER GOD PUTS in your hand, you need to see value. Give me my phone. My battery went dead. Whatever God puts in your hand, you got to see value in it. You can never expect to walk in greater until you learn to celebrate where you are right now. It may be a one-bedroom apartment, but you ought to thank God for your one-bedroom apartment. Stop walking in your house going like this. This is a tiny house. You say, "Lord, I thank you for my mansion." BECAUSE THERE'S SOMEBODY WHO HAS THE SKY FOR THEIR CEILING, BUT YOU FIXED IT. WELL, I GOT A ROOF OVER my head. STOP FRUSTRATING YOUR SPOUSE TO TRY TO KEEP UP WITH WHAT SOMEBODY ELSE IS DOING. YOU NEED TO CELEBRATE WHERE YOU are right now.

You're not a candidate for anything else >> until you celebrate where you are. I'll only tell it because Pastor Will has already told it. But you know, when you come from a more polished church and a polished ministry with systems that >> it's hard to start from scratch >> because now you're feeling like you must produce what you saw.

I want to tell you other people's lives are to be your inspiration but not your reference point. I feel like running through here right now.

Some of Some of you need to take a social media fast >> because it's become the source of your anxiety and your depression. You were happy about what God was doing in your life until you went on a timeline and saw [laughter] what happened with somebody else. It could be your inspiration, BUT PUSH SOMEBODY TELL THEM YOU DON'T have a reference point for you. YOU DON'T. IT'S ONLY ONE YOU. YOU HAVE A UNIQUE ASSIGNMENT. AND I CAN BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT GOD IS DOING FOR SOMEBODY ELSE WITHOUT BEING JEALOUS OF THEM. You keep on shouting, "I'm next." You may never be next.

NO. NO. YOU MAY NEVER BE NEXT AT DOING WHAT SOMEBODY ELSE IS DOING. LET THAT PERSON'S LIFE BE your inspiration, but don't let it be your reference point. JOSHUA 3:5 SAYS, "YOU GOT TO WALK BEHIND THE ARK OF GOD. YOU GOT TO STAY WITH THE PRESENCE of God because you've never been here before. OH, COME ON Y'ALL. LET'S JUST HAVE a real transparent moment. Scream at somebody. Tell them, "I don't know. I KNOW A LOT, BUT I don't know. I don't know my next steps. I DON'T KNOW HOW THINGS ARE GOING TO WORK OUT. I DON'T KNOW WHERE I'M GOING TO GET THE MONEY FOR MY VISION. I'M GOING TO DO IT, BUT I don't know.

I know y OH, I KNOW. I KNOW. NO, YOU DON'T.

YOU AIN'T NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE. Glory be to God.

Somebody shout, "The power is in the sea."

The power is in the sea.

Oh, no. No. Sometime I'll say, "Say it." And then sometime I'll say, "Shout it." This is one time I want you to shout it. Shout, "The power is in the sea."

The power is in the sea. You need to know you're working on something big.

Now listen, something big is in your hand. Yeah.

GOD GOD WOULDN'T HAVE ME TO PREACH THIS at the first church anniversary if it wasn't a reflection of his heart toward you.

What God is doing at this anniversary is also speaking to your personal life. I want you to look at your hands and shout, "I'm working on something big.

Say, what do you say about it?

I'm working on something big." See the challenge with you being able to say it is because sometime when you're working on something big, it's in seed form.

It's in seed form. You want the tree. You got a tree. As a matter of fact, you got more than a tree. You got a whole grove. It's just in seed form.

Hallelujah. Glory be to God. But let me tell you something. Your seed will never grow in your hand. [laughter]

Some of you think you're protecting it when you actually hindering it. GOD WILL NEVER CALL I'M SORRY. GOD WILL NEVER CALL YOU TO DO SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN DO BY YOURSELF. This is bigger than you. You need a ground to plant this in. YOU NEED SOMEBODY TO HELP YOU WATER this thing.

I don't need anybody.

ALL I NEED IS JESUS. YOU'RE RIGHT. All you need is Jesus.

You need the body of Jesus.

It's called the body of Christ.

You need some members.

You need Jesus in somebody.

Hear me what I'm saying. Your seed will never grow in your hand. Even when we prepare today at the first church anniversary, there's there's going to be a opportunity for you to sew and give your offerings in a moment. And some of you uh some of you some of us sometime we struggle when it comes to giving.

No, really we do. And it's not because we don't love God.

Oh, you love him. I could tell the way you was singing earlier. It's your breath. I can tell you love him. BUT DO YOU KNOW IT'S possible to love somebody and not trust them?

NO. REALLY? CUZ SOME OF Y'ALL SITTING BESIDE SOMEBODY RIGHT NOW. You I mean I mean say that. But you

Come on. Look at the person beside you. Tell him I'm He won't talk about you. He won't I trust you. I It's possible to love somebody and and struggle with trusting them. We got family members that when they come to our house, we love them, >> but lock your stuff up. Lock your bedroom. It's possible to love somebody and not trust them. And some of us in our relationship with people, it has bled over into our relationship with God. And so when it even comes to giving to ministry, when it comes to tithing and stuff like that, and this whole message about seed is not about that, but it's something about that >> is a reflection of how well do you trust him.

And when you can look at your receipts and you got more Uber Eats and Door Dash, >> talk about it. But when it comes to giving in church, you're like, >> you know, I see some Zara in here, you know, [laughter] some some Zara. And and I know some of y'all a little above Zara, but some of us at Zara and and a few of y'all not judging. You still at H&M and there's nothing wrong with it. [laughter] Here what I'm saying now. DON'T YOU SIT there and brag about, "Oh, I don't do that. I I get I wear more than that." Where your your offerings should reflect that then. [cheering] Oh, no. I do sacks. I'm glad I do purple. I'm glad you do that. But then for you to do those labels, but only give $10 to church. [screaming] Where a man's treasure is, that's where his heart is. Now, let me tell you, sisters, don't you be a gold digger, but also don't let him have $500 on his feet, but he can't even take you to a restaurant that's more than $50. [cheering]

Hear me? What I'm saying? You got to get it out of your hand.

God is all about investment.

You know what he does? The Bible say he gives seed >> to the ser.

God, listen, God can never trust you with more if you have not stewarded over what you have right now. I remember uh and I write about this in my book. I will never forget when um I was going to school at Liberty and I started the church and um and I was and don't y'all judge me for this, but this this when this uh episode of Oprah came on and the first time when she said, "You get a car. You get a car. You get a car." And I broke out crying.

And I'm going to tell you why. Cuz I had wrote in my prayer journal. I said, "Lord, one day I just want to be able to give people cars." And so when I saw that, I was I ran over and now I was I was real spooky in my younger years. I had a whole table altar with crosses on my table and it was my little altar in my house. And I remember running over there crying. I said, "Lord, I see what Oprah did today. Lord, this is my sign that you're going to bless me to do what I asked to do. I just want to be able to give people cars." Now, I know for some of you that may sound carnal, but I grew up in a household where we either had no car and then we had a car with no transmission so we could never back up anywhere.

And so when you when you know that struggle, >> you say, "Lord, I I want to fix it when nobody has to struggle like I struggle."

And the Lord blessed me while I was in college. He blessed me with my dream car when I was in college. It was a Lexus GS300. It had tinted windows. It had TVs. It had rims. [laughter] I think a drug dealer had it. And you know, BUT THE WEALTH OF THE WICKED.

SO, I mean, it was hooked up already.

And um I still had my little Honda Accord. And one day this gentleman who was my neighbor who I would see him and I would give him the blackhead nod, you know, like you said, you know, don't know each other's name or nothing. And he stopped by one day. He knocked on my door. He said, "Hey, man." I see you got a new car. I said, "Yes." I said, "Lord blessed me." He said, "What you going to do with the Honda?" I said, "I hadn't thought about it yet." He said, "Cuz man, my motor just went out in my car." And he said, "My house, we only got one car and I have to get the kids to daycare and my wife." And he said, "So, if you want to sell it, you know, I'd be willing to to buy it." I said, "Okay, well, let me think about it." And when he hung up, uh, when he walked out of the door, I thought about it. I said, "I'm going to sell that car." And the Lord spoke to me and said,

"Give him the car." I said, "I rebuke that. I rebuke that.

GET AWAY HERE. GET OUT OF HERE, DEVIL. AND THEN I THEN it hit me.

Would the devil tell me >> to give?

And as much as I say I got a good heart, I don't have that good enough heart >> to want to give away a car. And then I start rationalizing. I said, "Well, if I'm going to give a car away to anybody, I'm going to give it to a family member that needs it. IF I'M GOING TO GIVE THE CAR TO ANYBODY, I'M GOING TO GIVE IT TO ONE OF THE CHURCH MEMBERS that need it." AND THE LORD SPOKE TO ME AND SAID, "NO, CUZ IF YOU GIVE IT TO SOMEBODY CLOSE TO YOU, YOU'LL BE ABLE to take the glory.

You'll be able to take the credit." [applause] AND GOD WOULDN'T LET ME REST. God wouldn't let ME SLEEP. AND THE NEXT DAY, and I was saying, "But no, I could sell that car and and and put it to what the payments on my hooked up ride." And I y'all, he came to the door the next day. He said, "Hey, did you think about it?" And I said, "Yes." OKAY, COME ON. IF I TELL THE STORY, IT WILL SOUND BETTER. I'M A BISHOP. IT WOULD SOUND BETTER. I SAID, "The Lord told me and I just took the keys AND I THOUGHT, NO, SOMETIME YOU WILL STRUGGLE WITH OBEDIENCE. SOMETIME YOU WILL STRUGGLE WITH YOUR FLESH. [applause and cheering] DOING DOING THE RIGHT THING will never be convenient. You sometime will have to make decisions not just against your friends and family. There are times you will have to make a decision against yourself, your own flesh. Any man come after me. See, y'all just want to stop at that sinner's prayer. But I'm going to tell you, SOME OF THEM PEOPLE THAT prayed the prayer, they never believed in their heart. You got to make a decision for Jesus. Any man come after Jesus, HE MUST FIRST DENY HIMSELF. I KNOW THIS NEW CULTURE IS TELLING, "OH, IT'S ALL WITHIN YOU AND BELIEVE IN YOURSELF." NO GREATER IS HE that is in me. IN ME LIE NO GOOD THING. IT TAKES Jesus in.

Oh, let me finish this up. I know it's brunch time in Austin. Hear hear me what I'm saying to you. I gave him the keys and he said, "Hold on. What? How? How much?" I said, "No, take the take the keys." And he started crying. He said, "Thank you." Thank note to God. GIVE THE GLORY TO GOD. DON'T GIVE THE GLORY TO ME, give the glory to God. [applause] And so he took the car. And uh and after that, two weeks after, cuz see, when I said, "Lord, I want to bless somebody with a car." In my mind, it was going to be when I got 10.

See, the Lord would test you on the level you're you're on. Tell your neighbor, it's seed form. It's seed form. are so good.

And so I gave I gave him the card and two weeks later um uh the uh I was in a church service and the police came into the church service and said there's been an accident outside and several cars has been hit and and we need you to come outside identify the cars. And I ran outside. I was like I said, "Oh, that's brother Sam's car, brother. Go get Brother Sam." Oh, that's Melissa's car. Go get Melissa. Then I heard somebody the the one of the firemen said whose Lexus is over on top of this tree. A man was driving an SUV through the parking lot and lost control and knocked it all the way toward the only thing that kept it from going in the building was a tree. And I looked I was like, "Oh snap." [laughter] And because the ride was so hooked up, >> the value of the car, >> let's just say the next week I was standing looking out my door while my Honda kept passing. MY POINT IS SAYING THIS AND AND seriously cuz I want to tell the story that I gave a man the car and then God blessed me with a million dollars. That is not what happened. I gave the man the car and after I gave the man the car, I end up having to drive a rusty church van for several months cuz I had no car. [clears throat] See, this is why I'm telling you and I was telling you yesterday, you can't be distracted by results. Your success is not determined by results. Your success is determined by obedience. You have to say, I obey God. OBEDIENCE IS MY RESPONSIBILITY AND THE RESULTS belong to God. Don't think you going to manipulate God and SAY, "LORD, HERE'S MY FAITH. NOW GIVE ME WHAT I want." It's Lord, here's my faith. Now, sustain me in what you will.

That mean I may have to go through this a little longer than I wanted to go. My whole point in this is when you release the seed, don't stare at the ground.

I'M SORRY. DON'T STARE AT THE GROUND BECAUSE SEE, ALL RIGHT, I I SOLD MY SEED. OKAY. I'm trying I started the business. Okay, I got married. Okay, now make me happy.

No, no. A farmer doesn't sew a seed and then stare at the ground. You keep you keep tilling.

You keep working. You keep waiting. And waiting is not somewhere in the corner with your arms folded.

If I go to the restaurant this afternoon, which I hope you all will take me somewhere. [laughter] If I go to the restaurant and the waiter sits over in the corner, I'm gonna be like, "Aren't you supposed to be waiting on me?" See, waiting on on a table is not sitting down. It's serving.

Now, that waiter may not have to cook it, but that waiter do got to serve.

Glory be to God. What are you serving while you're waiting?

Well, all right. All right. All right. Thank you for your I don't went over my time. Thank you for your patience. I want to wrap it up here. And I read a scripture today. And then that's Oh. Oh, it does get better though.

Oh. Oh, let me tell you. It does get better.

No. No. I rode that rusty church van >> that a church gave us that still had their church name on the side, >> but it was faded, but you could still read it. Living Word Church, and we was the ramp church. NO, NO. I PICKED UP THE STUDENTS on campus. Our church was mostly college students. So, I picked up the students on campus. And I always said, "Listen, when I come through, be at the stop sign because I can't stop. I can only slow down. Now, this is a true story because if the if we stopped, the van would cut off and sometime when the van cut off, it would not start back immediately. It was a whole lot of padding and turning. I mean, it was so hot that we would stop halfway on the way to church just to get ice and ice cream. And it was so loud we couldn't talk until we stopped at a stoplight. And then we was like, "Now, what was you saying? One day I came home after being on the road ministering and taking all my money and putting it in the church and this couple in the church said, "Oh, pastor, [sighs] you got to see this." And I went and I said, "Oh, they they got a car. They were business owners." I said, "Oh, y'all got a new car. So happy for you." They said, "No, no, no. This is your car." It was a silver Mercedes Benz.

And I looked at them and I said, "Oh, no, no, no, no, no. I can't afford that." They says, "Oh, no. Um, you don't have a payment." They said, "We made God a promise that we would never live beyond the person who helped us get saved."

And so, if the Lord blessed us with one, we going to give you one.

[applause] Oh, I thought I had friends here. Y'all didn't got jealous. Look at that. Oh, you better celebrate. You better give GOD PRAISE BECAUSE IT WAS CONNECTED TO THE SEED. IT WAS CONNECT LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING. WHEN PEOPLE FORGET, GOD WILL REMEMBER. And And I THIS IS A STRONG POINT. I DON'T NEED YOU TO MISS THIS. WHEN MY HARVEST CAME, IT DID NOT COME FROM THE SAME PLACE I SOWED IT. AND THIS IS WHY SOME OF YOU ARE UPSET. YOU'RE EXPECTING THE SAME PEOPLE YOU BLESS TO [laughter] TURN AROUND AND HELP YOU. THEY MAY NOT EVER HELP YOU. GOD WILL RETURN IT UNTO YOU. YOU CAN SEW IN ONE PLACE [music] AND REAP IN ANOTHER. I NEED A CHURCH RIGHT HERE. And he said, GOD IS SAYING, HOUSE OF LIGHT, SERUM, I'VE GIVEN YOU AN ASSIGNMENT. BUILD. House of Light. Wave at me. I want to tell you. God said, I'm giving you an assignment. It's called build. It's called It's called build. And the prophecy came says do not despise the day >> of small beginnings. SEE MANY PEOPLE ARE COMING. BUT GOD IS GIVING YOU SOMETHING CALLED OPPORTUNITY. >> HE'S GIVING YOU AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE THE FIRST PARTAKERS OF WHAT HE'S DOING IN AUSTIN. I THANK GOD FOR THE PEOPLE that's coming. But I WANT YOU TO TAKE 5 SECONDS and praise God for right now. [music] Praise him for [music] THE POWER. THE POWER IS IN THE SEED. [music] THE POWER IS IN THE BEGINNING. ZERUBABA, I'M GIVING YOU AN ASSIGNMENT. ZERUBBABAH IS A GOVERNOR OF JUDAH. HE SAYS, "I'M GIVING YOU AN ASSIGNMENT TO REBUILD THE TEMPLE. AND I WANT TO SAY TO YOU, HOUSE OF LIGHT, I WANT YOU TO HAVE GREAT EXCITEMENT ABOUT YOUR CHURCH. I WANT YOU TO WEAR House of Light on your T-shirts. I want you to have House of Light mugs, but I don't want you to EVER GET UP IN PRIDE AND THINK HOUSE OF LIGHT IS THE ONLY church in Austin." I want YOU TO KNOW GOD HAS CALLED YOU TO REBUILD. IN OTHER WORDS, THERE ARE SOME FOUNDATIONS THAT HAVE ALREADY been laid. BUT ANYTIME GOD GETS READY TO DO SOMETHING SPECIAL IN A REGION, HE STARTS CALLING FOR MORE BOATS. AND WHEN HE'S CALLING FOR MORE BOATS, THAT MEAN THE HARVEST THAT'S GETTING READY TO come in is going to be a netbreaking harvest. I COME TO TELL THOSE THAT ARE IN THIS ROOM, GOD IS SETTING YOU UP TO BE A PART OF ONE OF THE GREATEST MOVES IN OUR NATION. I KNOW THEY KEEP CALLING AUSTIN WEIRD BECAUSE THEY AIN'T NEVER SEEN NOTHING LIKE THIS. THEY NEVER SEEN WHAT'S ABOUT TO POP UP. I KNOW COMPANIES ARE COMING HERE. I KNOW SOCIAL MEDIA IS COMING HERE. BUT THERE'S SOMETHING GREATER THAN FACEBOOK. THERE'S SOMETHING GREATER THAN INDEED. THERE'S [music] SOMETHING GREATER THAN TIK TOK. THERE'S A MOVE OF GOD. HE SAID IN THE LAST DAYS IN AUSTIN, I'M GOING TO POUR OUT MY SPIRIT UPON ALL FLESH, YOUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS. [music] I'm going to prophesy. Tell your neighbor it's a great move. [music] Tell them it's in seed form.

He says, "Rubaba, rebuild, rebuild, rebuild." And so Ruba said, "How is this going to be? I don't have nothing." You read the scripture. I ain't got nothing but a plummet in my hand, a measuring stick. How am I going to rebuild with a measuring stick? He says, "Not by might. Not by power, >> but by my spirit, [applause] sayeth the Lord. This is what I'm going to say to y'all. Work your strategies, work your systems. But let me tell you something. Don't forget out of all of the gleaning we can do from the corporate world, >> we can glean from the corporate world different things. You can you can deem from individuals how to set up certain structures and protocols, but you can't build a church. You can't build a move of God on a cart. The ark of God has to be carried on your shoulders.

Don't do this in your head. You got to do it in the spirit.

Did you hear what the pastor said? He had to pass. Hallelujah. I know it may sound primitive and antiquated, but if you really want a move of God, you going to have to turn your plate over. And that's more than giving up a Starbucks cup of coffee. That mean you going to have to turn your TV off. You going to have to get in your room and shut the door and close the blinds and get on your face before God and says, "I won't let you go until you bless me. I won't let go until you answer me." This thing is spiritual. You said you got to re got to rebuild this. I'm giving you an assignment. Hallelujah. This is starting off small, but it's something big and in seed form because that's where the power is. See, people see the power when it's big and grand. But whatever's in the seed is what the tree will be.

Make the seed holy. Wow.

You know, you see my my grandmother used to say this and and I want to be sensitive when I say this and uh our family for generations has always done foster care and adoption. This is why I go by my initials because I have a sibling that has my same name because she she was adopted. So that's been in my family since my greatgrandparents. But my grandmother used to say to me, who had 20ome foster children and adopted eight, she said, "Sometimes you don't know what's in them until they start growing." I'm telling you, House of Light, you won't automatically become a great church when you fill up the auditorium.

You don't automatically become a benevolent person once you start having millions of dollars. You know how people SAY, "OH, SHE CHANGED." NO, she didn't change. It was made manifest. That was her all the time.

Hallelujah. The power is in the seed. And if you don't believe me, Genesis chapter 3, once Adam and Eve fail, hallelujah, the prophecy said, "Listen, you serpent, you going to crawl on your belly." We have to talk about that one day about talking and walking snakes. So, you going to crawl on your belly. And then he says, "THE SEED OF [screaming] THE woman shall bruise the head of the serpent."

Hallelujah.

AND BECAUSE OF THIS PRO PROPHECY, FOR GENERATIONS, Satan tried to kill all the boys.

PHARAOH MADE A DECREE, >> KILL ALL THE BOYS. HEROD MADE A DECREE kill all THE BOYS.

BUT THE PROPHECY SAID THE SEED [screaming] OF THE WOMAN.

YEAH.

All of you who know anatomy, YOU KNOW THE PROCESS OF CORTIS REPRODUCTION. IT'S NOT THE WOMAN.

HALLELUJAH.

That brings THE SEED. BUT THE PROPHECY SAYS THE SEED OF THE woman shall bruise the head of the serpent. Now we don't believe in immaculate conception. Immaculate conception says that Mary has no sin. Now we believe Mary is the mother of Jesus and we honor her. But Mary is a descendant of Adam. Yeah.

WELL, THE QUESTION IS, HOW CAN Jesus be SINLESS WITH HOLY [screaming] BLOOD BUT IN THE belly of a woman with sin?

Well, blood vessels are produced IN THE EGG ONCE IT'S PENETRATED by the seed of the man. BUT IF MARY WAS HERE TO TESTIFY, SHE WOULD TELL YOU NO MAN TOUCHED ME.

HALLELUJAH. THAT WHAT'S IN ME IS OF THE SEED OF THE HOLY GHOST. SO IT WAS A HOLY SEED THAT PENETRATED [laughter] her egg. And because IT WAS A HOLY SEED THAT PENETRATED HER EGG, THE HOLY SEED CARRIED holy blood.

AND THE QUESTION IS, WHAT CAN WASH AWAY MY SINS? [screaming] NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS. THE POWER IS IN THE SEED.

Any woman that ever got pregnant is because one seed broke the cycle.

One seed >> broke. One seed broke the cycle. The power. Thank you so much. The power's in the seed. I want to pray over you. Muscle man or sister scooper [music] I wanted to get in your face today. I want to tell you you didn't miss it. You looking at what [music] you have and what everybody else have. The Lord told me to tell you you didn't miss it. It's something [music] great. It's just in seedful that there's power in it. What God has given you, there's [music] power in it. That one idea you have, there's power in it. That vision, that's there's power in it. Will you stand on your feet and lift up your hands as quickly as you can? Lift those hands in the presence of the Lord. Now, I'm going tell you why I [music] wanted you to lift your hands. Cuz your hands are being lifted are like antennas. And what I'm asking God to do for you right now, you got a seed of the Lord on the inside [music] of you. I'm asking God to increase your faith cuz you do believe [music] but you didn't struggle with unbelief. This this last season for some of you has tested everything. [music] I looked at uh Will and Rebecca today and he talked about that fourth month. I remember that fourth month and all of you have had a fourth month [music] that made you want to quit and you was like if one more thing happens I'm just going to lose it and one more thing [music] did happen. Some of you got anxiety right now because it seems like every time something is going good then the rug gets [music] pulled from under you can't even enjoy good moments. But I'm asking God right now to [music and singing] breathe on you for everything you've [music] had to endure this past year. May God breathe on you and refresh you. The Bible says man should not live by bread alone but every word that proceedth out of the mouth of God. [music] I pray that something was spoken in this message today. It spoke to your heart and spoke to your spirit. It was not by accident that you landed on this video. May [music] it be an expression that God is mindful of you. He sees, he knows, and he cares.
