Financial adviserss charge $2 to $5,000 to put together a financial plan for what I'm about to show you how to build for free. I built an AI personal finance tool using clot code that analyzes your entire financial picture, scores your debt and retirement readiness, and generates a 9-page PDF report, all with one prompt. And by the end of this video, you'll have this exact tool installed on your computer for free.
Now, here's the thing that nobody's talking about. Most people have no idea if they're actually on track financially. They just guess and hope it works out. And financial advice are very expensive, and most people can't afford one. But this solves both problems.
What I built is an AI personal finance skill for clot code. It has 14 different commands that analyze your cash flow, build a debt payoff strategy, projects your retirement, calculates your fire number, optimizes your taxes, audits your investments, and even produces a professional PDF financial report.
Let me show you how this works, and then I'm going to walk you through step by step how to install it so you can run this on your own computer and your own finances without any need for coding at all. All right, let's get started.
So, before I explain how this tool works, how to install this, let me show you one of the things that this tool produces. So, I plugged in a real financial profile of a married couple in California, age 32, making $185,000 a year with one kid. And this tool generated this entire npage financial plan in seconds. So, take a look at this.
Overall financial health score: 60 out of 100. Grade: C plus, fair. Action is needed.
Look at executive summary here. Clot code figured out the whole picture. The foundation is strong. They have $225,000 already invested. Their housing costs are reasonable. And they're getting a full employer 401k match.
But three specific things are dragging them down: A 24% APR credit card silently costing them $2,200 a year; an emergency fund that only covers 2.2 months; and missing life insurance with a kid in the house.
Take a look at the score dashboard here. Five categories: Cash flow 65, debt 55, investment 70, retirement 70, but protection only 40. That's the biggest gap here.
So, cash flow breakdown: every monthly expense categorized with percentages. And it found an invisible $1,150 a month surplus they didn't realize they had.
Debt summary: $549,000 total. Avalanche method recommended. Every account mapped out with the payoff order. That 24% credit card goes first.
Investment allocations: Current versus target with the variance for each account.
Retirement projection. They're 8% of the way to their target. Four different scenarios: Conservative, moderate, deferral bump, and aggressive with the exact projected balances at age 60.
Protection scorecard. And this is the brutal one. Term life insurance is missing, will missing, power of attorney missing with the kid in the house.
Look at this top 10 action plan, prioritized by impact, and a 90-day plan broken down month by month. Foundation, acceleration, optimization. This entire nine-page plan: one command.
Now, financial advisors charge $2 to $5,000 to produce something like this. Now, let me show you how I got this and explain everything else you can do with this tool.
All right. So, I'm going to show you how to install this, and then I'm going to walk you through step by step on running this on another profile or somebody else. So, that way you can see exactly how this works, and then also I'm going to explain the different features of this tool and everything else you can do with this.
All right. So, first thing you need to do, so let me get rid of this so that way we can start fresh.
So, first thing you want to do is you want to install Visual Studio Code. Now, again, this is just an IDE. It's a nice environment where all of your files and clot code could be run all inside the same environment. So, if you don't have Visual Studio Code already installed, click on the link in the description. Go ahead and install it from that. It's completely free. Once you install it, it's going to look something like this.
So, over here, what we need to do is we want to install Claude Code on our Visual Studio Code. So, the way to do that, you're just going to come to the extensions here. You're just going to search for "claude code," and you're just going to click on this one and install this. It's very, very simple. And then, obviously, you want to make sure that you're connecting your Claude Code. You need to have an account with Claude, of course. And then, once you install that clot code extension, you're going to double click on the center here, and this little clot code sign or icon will appear. So, if you click on this, this is going to open up clot code, and now I can get rid of this. So, now I can use clot code inside my Visual Studio Code.
Okay. So, now we need to install this tool that I built. And there's two ways to do this.
So, the first way, this is going to be for my paid community members. Don't worry if you're not part of the paid community; I'm going to show you how to install this for free. But if you're part of the paid community, you're going to head over to the classroom section. You're going to come down to the bottom where it says "Claude Cold Builds." You're going to click on "AI Personal Finance Advisor." You're going to scroll to the top right here. And you're just going to copy this because you have access to the GitHub repo here. So, all you have to do is just copy and paste this on your Visual Studio Code. And you come back here, you click on the top right here. So, let me get rid of this. And you're just going to paste this. Press enter. And this is going to install all of it in this one copy-paste command. Okay. As you can see, all of these finance or all these commands are available for you.
Now, if you're not part of the paid community, that's totally fine as well. You're going to click on a link in the description and the free resources. This is a free community. This one, sorry, that's my paid one. You're going to click on the free. You're going to come to the YouTube resources here. You're going to come down to clot code here, and it says "AI personal finances or finance advisor." You're going to click on the resource file here. This is just a zip file. You're going to download this, okay?
And once you download this, it's going to look something like this. So, it's going to say "finance skills." You're going to double click on this, and this is going to download all the finance skills, as you can see right here. So, if you double click inside this and go inside the skills again, all of these 14 skills are now available for you.
So, all you have to do is just copy this, and I'm in my Mac. So, I'm going to go to my Macintosh. Go to your users. You go to your username, and then make sure your hidden files are visible here. So, as you can see right here, cursor, lama, all of this is available for me. So, Claude, you're going to go to the .cloud file. By the way, if you don't have, if you don't see this, you're just going to press command, shift, and the period button. Okay, and all of these invisible folders will show up. You're going to click on this. You're going to go inside "skills," and you're just going to basically paste all of those folders that you just copied. Okay? Very, very simple.
And once you do that, and you go back to your clot code, you open a new instance of clot code. Okay. And now, if you press this slash command and type "finance," you'll see all of these different skills related to finance will be available for you. Things like finance, fire, finance, quick finance, analyze, budget, compare, debt, emergency, network, portfolio—all of these skills will be available for you. And again, like I said, I'm going to explain exactly what these different commands do, as you can see right here, in a little bit. But let's go ahead and run our "finance analyze," which is going to be running five AI agents simultaneously, and it's going to basically provide us everything we need, and then at the end we can produce that nice little PDF report.
So, I'm going to go back to my Visual Studio Code. I can just type or just come down here, "finance analyze," and press tab. It's going to open that up. I'm going to press enter.
And now, this is going to be asking me to provide all of this information about the profile that I want to run this financial analysis on. And this is going to be basically you, or if you have a client that you're running it or giving this to, this will be all of that information. So, as you see right here, it's asking you all of this information. But don't worry, you only have to provide this once.
So, demographic, you need to provide the age, the marital status, the dependents, target retirement age, financial goals, income, expenses, assets, liabilities, protection, and everything else you need. So, I'm just going to go ahead and grab some dummy data here, and I'll come back and I'm going to press or control V. So, there you go. I just provided basically everything that it's asking for. And again, you can use Claude here. You can just basically tell Claude, like, "use your voice to tell him write down all of this information for me in this particular format." Okay.
So, all you have to do is just now press enter. Now, clot code is going to absorb all of that information and run this "finance analyze" command, or its skill, basically inside clot code. So, now, while this is running through, because this is going to take a minute or so, let me go ahead and explain exactly how this works and what are some other commands that are available inside this tool for you guys.
So, if I go back to my GitHub repo here. So, as you can see, we just ran that "finance analyze." So, this runs a full multi-agent analysis with five parallel agents. But I also have the ability to run these other commands that are available for me, right?
So, one of the most popular terms in the finance world, especially the personal finance world, is "FIRE," which basically is a way to retire early, right? So, it's kind of called the "FIRE movement," right? So, you can run that if you're interested in particular details of that. You can, if you want to know about tax-saving opportunities like HSA, 401k, Roth IRA, tax loss harvesting, you can run that. If you want to know your net worth tracker with your assets and liabilities breakdown, you can run something like this "finance network" command. And then, if you want to do a goal-based planning, right, for house and kids, college, sabbatical, blah blah blah, all of that stuff, you can run an individual "finance goal," and it will be able to actually give you all of those details.
So, again, I have all this information here, but essentially these are just ways or information that you can grab or gather from this tool itself. Again, there's a lot in there. But the flagship command is that "analyze" because then it gives you all of those details and a PDF report at the end that you can generate for yourself or for your clients.
Now, for those of you who are new to Claude or Claude Code, skills are basically a way to make Claude Code a domain expert on something particular, right? So, for instance, when we ran this "finance analyze" command, if I click on that folder "skill.md," "md" stands for markdown, which is basically a markdown file. Now, clot code is going to go ahead and follow all of the instructions that are inside this "skill.md" file, right? So, as you saw, I ran that "finance analyze."
Now, what this is going to do is this is going to run multiple phases. Phase one is going to be data collection, right? This is going to be all of that information that we provided. So, it's going to analyze that, and phase two is going to be launching five parallel sub-agents. Agent one is going to do financial cash flow. Agent two is going to do finance debt. Agent three is going to be finance investments. Four is going to do finance retirement. And five is going to be finance protection, right? So, all of this is going to be running in parallel.
So, if I go back to my clot code, as you can see right here, all of this information right now is being absorbed, and all of those five agents that we looked at, all of these five agents in phase two, they're going to be running in the background, right? So, this "finance analyze," that's why it's the flagship command.
So, it's going to basically provide and gather all of this information, run all of those analyses simultaneously, and then it's going to run to phase three, which is basically a composite score down. It's going to score everything and generate a "finance-analysis" file. That's going to include the executive summary, the score dashboard for all of those parameters, cash flow analysis, debt breakdown, investment allocation, and everything else, and of course, a 90-day action plan to fix everything. And then afterwards, we can run this "finance report-pdf" command that will generate that nice little PDF for us.
So, let's go ahead and go back and see what's going on. So, it looks like it's still working. Like I said, depending on how much information you provide to this, this is going to take a couple of minutes. So, let's go ahead and let this thing finish.
And of course, I've built a bunch of these different skills. So, for those of you who want to know how to monetize these skills, make sure you check out the paid community. Link is going to be in the description. This is where we show you exactly how to sell this to businesses. For instance, one of our community members recently landed their first GEO client, which is based on this GEO project and the set of skills that we built inside our community.
And we have a bunch of other things there that are all related to real-life solutions for businesses, like AI trade research, AI voice systems for businesses, different types of AI employees if you're a business owner. So, lots of information there. And of course, if you're interested in starting your AI agency, we have an entire course on that as well. So, check out the community; link is going to be in the description.
So, let's see what's going on here. So, there you go. Looks like it's finishing up. So now, all of those agents finished all of their work, and now there you go. It says, "Report saved as finance-analysis.md." This one composite score is 38 out of 100; grade is D. So, it finished all of this. Of course, we can take a look at this markdown file. So, this is the file that it generates, right? So, there you go. This is all the information. But of course, it's kind of a little hard to read. So, that's why what we could do is, for our ease of use, we can run that PDF command. So, that way it generates the PDF report for us.
So, I'm going to type slash here: "finance." Go down to the bottom. It says "finance-report-PDF." Tab. Enter. So, now it's going to go ahead and create a nice little PDF report for us based on this "finance-analysis.md" file that it generated for that persona or for that profile that we provided, right? So, in this case, mine is going to be this: this person whose age is 38, marital status is married with two kids, age four and seven; they live in Ohio; their annual household income is $115,000; and then everything else that's provided here. So, yours might look a little different depending on what kind of profile you provide. So, this "report-PDF" is going to now grab all of the information that the "finance-analyze" command generated, and it's going to create a nice little PDF for us. So, that way we can read it a lot better and absorb a lot better.
All right, there you go. So, now it says "Done. PDF generated at finance-plan.pdf." So, nine pages, 24 kilobytes. So, let me get rid of this. And now I can click on this one. And there you go, right?
So, it generated this nice little PDF for us. This one, this time, a personal financial plan for somebody who was 38, right? We didn't give him names, of course, but you can give your name if you're interested; that's fine. So, it says, "Grade is D, weak plan required," of course, right? So, it says, "Household of four in Ohio, age 38, 4 and 7, with $115,000 combined income, cash flows and $9,500."
So, it gives you a nice little score dashboard, right? Cash flow, debt, investment, retirement, protection—and it gives you each score for different categories, right? So, it says, "Category notes: cash flow monthly outflows exceed take-home by $2,300; 4% nominal 401k savings rate offset by credit card growth discussion and discussion rate at 19%." Right? Debt is $19,200, and credit cards 25% APR. Right? Investments: only $60,000 investment at age 38. Right? Retirement: on track protection. There's an emergency fund that covers only 6 months or 6 months of expenses.
So, let's take a look. Cash flow analysis. The monthly income: $7,200. Monthly expense is $9,500. There's a $2,300 net surplus. Believe it or not, there are a lot of families that are unfortunately in this situation. So, this is not uncommon, especially in the US. Let me actually make this a little bigger.
All right. Expense category. Let's see what the expense category looks like, right? Housing and mortgage: $2,450, 34% of income. Again, that's a pretty good mortgage if you're in the US right now. Discretionary dining, entertainment: they're spending $1,400. Food and grocery: they're spending $1,100. Child care, transportation, auto loan, health insurance—all of the different expense breakdowns, the monthly amount, and then the percentage of the income right there. So, as you can see, all of this comes down to 132% almost, right? So, it says, "inside discretionary spending of $1,400 a month on food at $150 or the two highest leverage cuts," right? "Leverage cuts," which makes sense, right? So, it says, "you guys are spending too much money on going out," which is again a very common thing that happens in the US here.
Debt summary and payoff plan. So, now it gives you an avalanche strategy, right? Highest APR first. The avalanche method minimizes total interest by attacking the highest APR balance first. The snowball method builds momentum by attacking the smallest balance first. So, take a look at this, right? It gives you all of the account details. They have two credit cards, right, with different balances. The APRs on both are 27% and 23%. The minimum payment is $350, $180. It gives you the payoff order. You need to pay off these two credit cards immediately. Again, this is not uncommon. A lot of families have credit card loans, and they're paying these ridiculous amounts of APRs there. They got a personal loan, they got an auto loan, right? 2023 SUV, $24,000. Their monthly payment is $625, right? Student loans, mortgage—all of this is very, very typical.
So, now it gives you an investment allocation. Total investment assets: $60,000 only. The pie chart below shows you current allocation, a well-diversified portfolio. Typically, it holds a mix appropriate for your age and risk tolerance. It gives you all of the different asset classes and what are the current holdings there. It gives you an allocation insight and then a retirement projection, right?
So, it says that, "Hey, your target should be $1.95 million, and your gap is $1,889,889," right? Of course, because they are negative on a monthly basis, it gives them a scenario comparison on the current path (4% and monthly save projected balance retirement) and result gives you a retirement insight here. Protection scorecard, right? It says, "Protection covers insurance and real estate planning, the foundation that prevents a single event from undoing years of saving and investment." It gives you the coverage area: emergency fund. This is extremely critical. It says, "Recommendation: you should have $4,800 covered; covers only 6 months or 6 months of expenses." You need to build to $7,650, right? That gives you step-by-step instructions on what to do. Term life insurance is missing. This is urgent. Two young kids, you need to get a $1 million, 20-year policy on each spouse or on each with spouse. Disability insurance. Health insurance is pretty good at this point. So, that's the only thing, I guess, good as far as the coverage. Will and guardianship, power of attorney, beneficiary design—all that stuff.
Top 10 action items. Now, this is kind of the beauty of this particular tool here, that it gives you exact action plans on what to do. First thing to do: cut discretionary $1,400 to $600 on food and $1,150 to $850 to recover $1,100 a month, right? This is telling it to, "Hey, you need to cut costs on going out, on groceries, and everything." Priority is very high; impact is critical. Apply 0% APR balance transfer card. Move $12,400 to a credit card that halts that 26% or 27% interest, secure, right? So, it says, "move all of that debt from that credit card to a 0% APR balance transfer card, buy $1 million, 20-year term life insurance, draft will guardianship documents, and everything else." But the top two or three ones are getting rid of this credit card debt and then also reducing the food spending there.
Your 90-day action plan, right? Month one: the foundation, review the report with spouse, agree on spending cuts, cancel/reduce subscription to $25 a month, apply for a 0% APR balance transfer card. Month two, month three: all of the information. After 90 days, it says, "rerun this finance analyze to rescore your financial health score," right? Again, this is something that a financial adviser will actually sit down with you and tell you to do exactly this. This is giving you all of this stuff for free, and it gives you an action plan for the next 90 days. So, you can run this every 90 days to get on track, basically.
Now, you can imagine this is a very powerful tool on a personal level, but on top of that also, if you are an AI agency owner or if you're working with clients, this is something that you can use to actually give them a prioritized action plan. And this will make your life a lot easier, right? It saves you work from doing all of this research manually. This is actually giving you a document that you can send to your client right away and kind of retouch different things, go back and forth with clot code and tell it to make any changes. And if you're providing any additional information about this particular profile, you can keep updating this and making this better. This is just a starting point.
And of course, like I mentioned before, there are a lot of other tools or a lot of other commands inside this particular tool. Like, for example, "FIRE" is one of the financial independence, retire early calculators, right? That's what "FIRE" stands for: Financial Independence, Retire Early. Right? So, it says, "you're the FIRE specialist. Calculate the user's F1 number, time to FIRE, the optimal pathway across all four FIRE variants," right? So, what this is doing is basically giving clot code an exact instruction to follow every time you run one of these commands. So, if you're running this "finance-fire" skill, it's going to basically follow all of these instructions inside the "skill.md" file, and it's going to give you basically an output that's dependent on these instructions. And by the way, you can change these instructions if you want to make changes yourselves, right?
Same thing. Let's say if you are interested in running a "finance portfolio," an investment allocation analyzer, this is the skill to do so, right? This will basically give you the amount of stocks, the emerging markets, the bonds, the tips, and everything else you need. If you want to have an allocation audit on your assets and liabilities and everything else. If you want to know about retirement needs based on the retirement readiness projection for yourself or somebody else, you can run this "finance retirement." This is going to give you all of the data that needs to collect afterward. It's going to calculate everything that's needed and give you all of that information. The gap analysis, the Monte Carlo logic—everything is again extremely useful here for yourself or for your clients if you're working with clients. Of course, related to taxes, you can run the "finance tax" command. It's going to give you all those details.
Again, there's so much here that it would take me like two, three hours to go through everything, but I just wanted to give you guys kind of like an overview. You can now go ahead and play around with all of the different commands here and take a look at what it does. And then, based on that, you can test it out yourself. And of course, like I mentioned before, if you get stuck or if you have any questions, let me know in the comments below. I'll try to help out as much as I can. If not, again, if you're looking to monetize this or if you're looking for unlimited tech support, join the community. Link is going to be in the description. Hopefully, you found this helpful. Make sure you like and subscribe, and I'll see you on the next one.
