[Music] welcome to the world-class week system. I'm delighted that you're here with me. I want to celebrate you for investing in this digital program, and I can assure you, the results you're going to get from it will be world-class.
We live in a world of such noise right now. We live in a world where so many of us have lost the signal. There's so much volatility, there's so much digital distraction, so many of us are overwhelmed, and we live our lives like a five-alarm fire. And what that does is it almost brings up a sense of psychic angst in so many of us. We feel we're betraying our talents, we feel we're neglecting our genius, we feel we're not living by our priorities. And what's the point of spending the best hours of your best days climbing these mountains, only to realize at the end of this year, or at the end of this decade, or at the end of your lifetime, that you've spent your best years climbing the wrong mountains?
And so, this program that I've wanted to create for a long time, we'll walk you through how to create a world-class week. I'm going to share my own personal insights and how I plan my own weeks, as well as the methodology I've shared with many of the most successful empire creators and athletes, and industry titans, and financial wizards, and movement makers for the past 25 years. You're going to find tremendous and rich value in this course, and you're going to get not only philosophy and inspiration, but you're going to get tremendous, what I call, tacticology or methodology. In other words, some specific ideas that will help you turn your current weeks into world-class weeks.
So again, I want to applaud you for being here with me, and I'm going to give you the best I have to give, and we're also going to have some fun together on this ride as you learn the art and science of handcrafting beautiful, world-class weeks.
And why do I talk about a week? Why not a world-class year? Well, I truly believe that the minimum viable planning amount is a week. If you just create amazing weeks, then your weeks will turn into months, and your months will turn into years, and those world-class years will turn into world-class decades, which will ultimately generate a world-class life. So you really just want to understand and then execute around creating these amazing weeks consistently, because consistency is the mother of mastery. It's not what you do once a year that's going to create revolutions of productivity and performance in your life. It's what you do every single week.
So with that said, I want to walk you through the fundamental learning framework that is sitting at the bedrock of this entire world-class week system. And I call the system the World Class Week System Loop. The World Class Week System Loop. And there are five primary elements in it that I really want you to consider.
Element number one of the loop is Morning Mastery. Morning Mastery. The way you start your day sets up the way your day unfolds. The way you start your day, especially the first 60 minutes, during that victory hour from five o'clock to six o'clock, dramatically and almost has an oversized effect on the remaining hours of your day. So it sets the tone, and you really want to get very good at morning mastery. And it is a practice. As the Spartan warrior said, "Sweat more in training, you'll bleed less in war." Sweat more in the morning, you'll bleed less in the day, in terms of distractions and overwhelm and stresses and tension, and just being pulled into superficialities versus staying monomially focused on your highest priorities. So element number one of the World Class Week System Loop is Morning Mastery.
Element number two, Daily Victory. Daily Victory. Your days are your life in miniature. Keep on building excellent days, world-class days. And of course, not every day is going to be perfect. It's called being human. You have good moods, you have challenging moods, you have great days, and you have days that are not so good. I certainly don't have consistently amazing days. Sometimes there are challenges, but because of what I'm going to walk you through, even my most difficult days are far more easier, far more graceful. Things that ordinarily might have bothered me, it's like water off a duck's back. I really, I know how to pivot. I know how to turn. I've learned how to turn the problem into possibility. So you're going to learn how to do that with the tactics I'm going to walk you through, and all of the tactics. So element number three is learning to get really, really good at Daily Victory.
Element number four of the loop is Evening Renewal. We live in a world that celebrates doing. But what about non-doing? To get really good at doing, you have to be masterful at non-doing. I think a great life, and elite performance, and exponential productivity, in so many ways, is a pulse. It's you're out in the world, and then you pull into the wilderness. Out in the world, pull into the wilderness. If you've read The 5 AM Club, you know about the twin cycles of elite performance. You've got your high excellence cycle, maybe you're running a few of those during your day, and then you've got your deep recovery cycle, your DRC. The deep recovery cycle, which is not a waste of time. The deep recovery cycle, for example, an evening used for renewal and rest and re-creation, simply recreates you for winning the next day. So this hustle and grind culture, well, I don't subscribe to it. I think sustained elite performance, sustained superb productivity, amazing artistry over a long career, so you have longevity, that requires time in the world, time in the wilderness, metaphorically speaking. Time doing, time non-doing, time being uber productive, time resting. Rest is your secret weapon. Recovery is not a luxury. Recovery is a necessity. So the third element of the World Class Week System Loop is Evening Renewal. You're going to get really good at exploiting or leveraging your evenings to renew your assets of genius, so you'll sleep beautifully. And with that deep recovery through sleep, you'll wake up early in the morning and you'll hit the ground running, and you'll, rather than chasing the day, you will own your day.
The fourth element, this is really important. The fourth element is your Pre-Sleep Structure. Your pre-your pre-sleep structure. Pre-sleep structure. Forgive my messy writing. I am a doctor's son, and, uh, and if you wonder what that meant, doctors used to write on these prescription pads, and they were always known for having messy writing. So, pre-sleep structure. It's not only your evening renewal that's important, it's what you do in the two to three hours before you go to sleep. So I'm going to walk you through an absolutely excellent pre-sleep structure, which is, include things that I do, like an Epsom salt bath, and maybe a period of meditation, maybe a period of thankfulness, maybe you write in a journal a little bit, maybe you have a cup of green tea or licorice tea or fresh mint tea with your significant other, and then you get into bed. Maybe you put a little bit of sleep balm on your palms, maybe you use some of that, I don't know if you've seen it, but you can get it online, some of that lavender spray, you spray it on your pillow. This becomes a ritual right before you go to sleep, so that subconsciously, your subconscious mind goes, "Oh, I am being prepared. The body is being prepared for a nighttime of excellent sleep." And what the latest research says is seven to nine hours is the minimum viable, or actually, let me say, the ideal amount. To be more specific and accurate, the ideal amount of sleep is six to eight hours every single night. Joining the 5 AM Club, for example, is not at all about sleep deprivation. Sleep is essential to getting up early. Good sleep is essential for reducing inflammation that causes disease. Good sleep is essential for a strong immune system. Excellent sleep is important for your moods, for your strongest cognitive functioning. So part of building a world-class week is getting really good at sleeping. It'll help you so much. And related to a great pre-sleep routine is just a bonus point for you: napping. One of my secret weapons is napping at the end of my workday. I'll go down for one hour, a nap, and then I'm refueled for the evening ahead. So the fourth element of the World Class System Loop is a pre-sleep structure that is really good.
And then the fifth and final element that we will be journeying through in our time together in this premium course that you have invested in, and I'm delighted to have you in, is the wonderful weekend protocol. Protocol. And you can build your weeks any way that you wish, but I'm gonna encourage you to take a lot of your weekend off, and to actually experience, and you're gonna learn this as we go deeper into the course, but you're gonna, I'm gonna encourage you to take up, take zero device days, for example, Saturdays. Your ZDDs, or your ZDDs, zero device. You literally turn off your phone, you turn off all your technology, you put them away, and you actually enjoy your weekends with your family. You take time for yourself. You take time for nature. Rocks. I'll get into the specific methodologies for wonderful weekends. But again, it gets back to that high excellence cycle, and then your weekends are your deep recovery cycle, where you enjoy the fruits of your labor, and you renew your assets, and you spend more time in reflection and reading, and you enjoy your portfolio of passions. And if you did that, just imagine how strong you would be in the next week, and you start to build this upward spiral of success that I mentioned often in the 5 AM Club Method course. If you've done that course, I say to you, bravo. It's a very powerful course. It's the course that comes before this course. It's sort of the introductory course until you get to the World Class Week System. And that course teaches you in very deep detail how to build these extraordinary mornings that set you up for elite productivity and excellence in every key area of your life.
So that is the World Class System Loop. The five elements: Morning Mastery, Daily Victory, Evening Renewal, Pre-Sleep Structure, and the Wonderful Weekend Protocol. So now, let's start with element number one, and let's get into Morning Mastery.
