You see, God's mind, as I mentioned, foresees all things before they exist. Even every little individual action we make, from our breathing, from our blinking, from our chores to our prayers and acts of worship and love. He foresees all things as well as our sins and our faults that on certain occasions he permits that we it spurs us on to greater devotion and glory for God.
We have learned so much together this year from Father Joseph Iani. And as we are approaching the end of the year, I thought this is a good time to release a compilation of some of the top clips this year. And this is going to be one super long video, but I hope it's worth it. As usual, here's the table of content for your reference. And without wasting any more time, let's start with the first one on the list.
Let us remember that Jesus said, "Not even the son of God knows the day or the hour for the return. Only the father knows this." Even though that question does not regard the final coming of Christ, but the reign of God's will on earth that will precede the final return or coming of Christ, that same response must be present. Humility. If Jesus doesn't even know the day or the hour, how are we going to say we do? None of us knows. Let's be honest. And why is that? Let's look at the more important question. There's a reason that we are not supposed to know. And yet people try to know. They try and they they strain and they expend a lot of money and energy and they'll never find out. Never. It's a waste of time. There's a reason why God does not wish us to find out the day or the hour. So, let us respect God's will. If he doesn't want us to know, then why should we try?
It is here's the reason why God does not want us to know the day or the hour. And it's similar to that parable. The answer I'm going to give you is similar to the parable of the man who stored up treasure for himself in his barns. Remember I think it was Luke's gospel chapter 12 that there was a rich man who had some land. He grew good crop. He thought to himself, "What will I do? I have no place to keep my crops." And he said, "I know. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there will store all of my grain and goods." Now, why did this rich man say this in the first place? because he assumed he knew when the Holy Spirit would come. He assumed the Holy Spirit's not going to come now. So I'm going to use this time based on my assumption. There's the lack of humility and relax. And what does God say? You fool. This very night I will demand your life.
So the reason why we are not to go looking for the day or the hour when the reign of the divine will will come or when the final return of Christ will come which will come after a long time after the reign of the divine will begins according to the book of revelation chapter 20 about a thousand years is because once we know something as a matter of fact we pattern our life around it that's human nature for example I tell you you're going to enjoy good health for the next 17 years there's going to be no crisis of finance. So for the next 17 years things would be pretty good. What do you do then? You start to plan based on that information. But suppose I didn't tell you that. Then you would live every day if it's your last, wouldn't you? If you're a God- abiding Christian. That's why we are not to know the day or the hour because it is human nature once you know something in writing to start to relax and plan your life around it. But if you don't know, you're you remain always on your toes waiting for the Lord to come any minute. And that could very well happen, right?
So why do you think in the Old Testament whenever the families commemorated the liberation of the Israelites from Egypt, Egyptian slavery, they had to eat at night with a staff and sandals and with their loins girt. Why was that? Always they had to be ready. It was a symbol. God always wants you to be ready to take off whenever he says when. He doesn't want to find you sleeping. He wants to find you alert, attentive, and faithful. All right? So, we should not start planning to build places here and there because you know the chastisement is going to come tomorrow or it's going to come uh next week. There's no such thing as a physical refuge in God's eyes. Because the physical refuge follows the sanctuaries who contain God, who are living hosts, living tabernacles, souls who live in his divine will. They contain the divinity. And wherever they are, God is. And therefore, that place is sacred. It's a sanctuary and it is protected. It is people who do not attune their ears to the voice of the shepherd that miss this message. They want to rest on their laurels and have a physical haven, a safe haven. Not going to happen. It is not going to happen. God will protect those whom he has marked with the sign of the cross. These are his sanctuaries. Just as Satan marks his evil ones, as the book of Revelation states, so God marks his chosen ones. Okay? Jesus tells us in the book of Revelation that he's going out sending his angels to mark on the forehead his chosen ones. Twice in the book of Revelation and this is mentioned the seal of protection. Wherever they go they will be protected.
>> Recently someone messaged me to pray for a miracle for their healing and to include them in my prayers. And upon reading that message I was later reminded of this clip. Listen to this. When you pray for a specific intention of God of someone in need of a miracle, you pray specifically for that person. But that doesn't mean you exclude everybody else in from your prayer, does it? God will take that prayer of yours meant specifically for that person to receive a miracle and he will let it overflow for the betterment of all. That is how God distributes our prayers. You know, want to know something else? You don't distribute your prayers. God does. I hate to break it to you, but it's the truth. Certainly, he respects our intentions and he abides by them, provided therefore the betterment of the person we're praying for or the event we're praying for and in accord with God's will. But it is he who receives all prayers and applies them accordingly. All acts done in my will diffuse everywhere, and all take part in them. My daughter, everything that one does in my will is like a sun that diffuses for the good of all. As one prays in my will, offering my blood, my pains, my wounds, these convert into many rays of light, for as many times that they are offered, which diffuse for the good of all. They descend rapidly into the deepest prison of purgatory, turning pains and darkness into light. These prayers may impact all souls equally, and if they are not impacted equally, it can never be on the part of the one who gives. but on the part of the one who receives according to their dispositions.
>> And I always like this story shared by Father Iani about Bishop Sheen. >> Even if it's a little, what matters is that you're doing it for the love of God. So please don't be a per generous. I recall speaking of being a per bishop she once told a story of having taken a plane trip to France to Lord to pray for a special intention and I believe it was for the conversion of a person and God asked Mary that he was willing I'm sorry Bishop Sheen told Mary that he was willing to accept whatever sacrifice it would take to convert the soul. So we took this trip to Lord and he said that when he got there he couldn't find any hotels available except for this one that was rather costly. It was like a I guess today it would be considered a four or fivestar hotel but he didn't that was not his choice but that was the only thing available. So he thought to himself well if Mary's going to give me something why be a perk something big. So he said, "I thought that if I were to ask her a favor, I might as well just ask her for a big favor and accept a big reward." So we took the big hotel and on his return, he presented his ticket. Back then they took the train to the to the airport and the train attendant, the agent there told him, "This is the wrong ticket." He said, "This is impossible. This is what they gave me." He said, "Nope, wrong ticket." So he had to spend the night without a hotel in France. And while he was there sitting on a bench without a room, a man approached him and offered him some money. The point is when you wish to get something big from God, don't give like a piger. If you give big, you will get back big. And that person's soul was converted in the end. Bishop Sheen goes on to tell the story in his eloquent way as he always does. It was a beautiful story.
But like the saints of the past including Bishop Schneim, so with saints of today, God wishes to raise us to the heights of holiness in proportion to the gifts he gives us. In these end times, God is giving us the greatest call to holiness and the greatest gift of all, which is the indwelling of the Holy Trinity that our first parents possess, that Mary and Jesus possessed, and that we can possess, anyone can possess. This indwelling of the Holy Trinity occurs when the soul empties itself to allow God to take up his indwelling within it. How does this happen? The first thing it has to do is repent. Acknowledge that it's a spinner and confess. There can be no indwelling without confession. Now this kenosis, this emptying of oneself allows room for Christ to enter. The first person of the trinity to enter within us is the Holy Spirit that occurs at baptism. And Thomas Aquinas talks about that. But after this indwelling of the Holy Spirit that takes away original sin which is baptism and infuses with within us the three theological gifts namely faith, hope and love, the personification of the father, son and holy spirit. Then the journey begins. Then the devil starts to test us and God allows it so that we may be purified from our human ways of thinking to advance through the divine altruistic ways of thinking. And then God begins to lead us from purification to illumination and from illumination to unification.
>> For the next clip, let's listen to this one on charity and for the love of our neighbor. >> Now, when exercising love, let's call it charity. Now, toward neighbor, the soul exercises the good and gives God honor and glory. Charity may also be exercised toward neighbor vicariously. That is either on behalf of a deceased by offering the mass for them by seeing the stations of the cross for them or of the living by taking upon oneself the consequences of the sins of others through fasting and so forth. This is true love to deny oneself in order to give life to others. to take upon oneself the evils of others and to give me one's own possession." The love that is most pleasing to me is that which is exercised toward those who are closest to me, and those who are closest to me are the souls in purgatory. They are confirmed in my grace, and there is no opposition between my will and theirs. They live continuously in me. They ardently love me and I am forced to see them suffer within myself as they are powerless to give themselves the slightest relief. The second type of charity most acceptable to my heart is that which is exercised on behalf of those who though living on this earth are almost like the souls in purgatory. That is they love me. They always do my will and they interest themselves with my things as if they were their own. Now if these are oppressed, in need or in a state of suffering, and someone occupies themsel with relieving them and helping them, this love is more pleasing to my heart than if it were done to others." So this is how we exercise charity toward our neighbor, either on behalf of the deceased, souls in purgatory, or the living. Furthermore, Jesus reveals that the three theological virtues conceal the three persons of the trinity and constitute the foundation of all the other virtues. Isn't that beautiful?
>> These clips on virtues, I always love listening to these clips because they teach me so much, especially on the spiritual life. So that's why for this channel, I always share them with you because I hope we can together grow spiritually and be closer to God. For Jesus to reign in the soul, the soul must correspond to God's grace that enables it to empty itself through the cultivation of the virtues of humility, detachment, trust in God, disinterest of oneself and peace. All of these virtues that is humility, detachment, trust in God, distrust in oneself and peace dispose the soul in such a way that God along with the soul may fill its great void. Because the outpourings of God's grace proceeds and continuously sustains the soul efforts and acts. The more the soul repeats its acts, the more they embellish the soul. The following merit particular retention. The virtue of trust. This is important. Remember the revelations of God to Fina Kavalska, St. Fain at the bottom of the image of the divine the the divine mercy our Lord wanted the words Jesus I trust in you inscribed. Now why I trust in you? Because trust enliven faith and attracts God's mercy and blessings. The souls who will shine the most, like the bright gems in the crown of my mercy, are the souls who have more trust. Because the more trust they have, the more they make room for the attribute of my mercy to pour into them any grace that they want. Don't you know that lack of trust paralyzes the soul? After trust, the virtue of humility requires confidence, which is trust in God. So it follows trust and exalts God the most. The virtue which most exalts God is humility. And the virtue which most exalts the creature before God in men is humility. Humility provides the soul with a garment of profound calm and inspires it to respect the good in others. The most perfect, the most sublime humility is that of losing one's way of reasoning, and of not discoursing on the why and on the how, but of abandoning oneself to God in one's own nothingness. And in so doing, the soul without realizing it, finds itself immersed in God. This in turn produces in the soul the most intimate union, the most perfect love toward its highest good.
And the following clip, it's a clip on our own reasoning versus holy reasoning. Listen to this. >> There's a difference between one's own reasoning and holy reason. Losing one's way of reasoning means, well, let me put it this way, does not suggest that one ought to abandon reason before God and his representatives. Take for example the case of Jonavar where she was told lies by church authorities. Cardinal Cardinal Shaw and others misled her, refused her an audience with the pope, which she had a right to canonically. So, they deceived her. She didn't know canon law. She was a little uh unlettered woman from Lauren in France. And she believed that they were telling the truth and they weren't. So, they deceived her. But by the grace and providence of God, she had a director, a very learned priest who told her she had a right for a papal audience and that these representatives were wrong. As exemplified in the person of the blessed virgin Mary, for example, who humbly asked the angel Gabrielle when he told her that she would be the mother of God, she didn't say yes sir, sir, yes sir. She said how can this be? So asking how is not bad. The blessed virgin Mary said how to the angel. You see, she's not going against humility here by asking how. Take for example Zachchariah to whom the angel appeared and was struck dumb because he did not believe the angel's words that his wife Elizabeth would conceive. And then take the blessed mother to whom an angel appeared and asked God, how was this possible? And who was blessed because of her how? What's the difference between the two? It's the interior disposition, the interior attitude, not the word how, but the interior attitude. So if I ask God sarcastically, God will not respect us or not bless us. And this is why um Zechariah was struck dumb and Mary was blessed. All right? So faith and reason are integral means an integral means to discerning the will of God.
The next virtue that I'd like to share again with you will be on the virtue of patience. And I know not all of you are going to listen till the end of this video. But for those who do, I hope you will learn a lot at the end of this. >> Another virtue is that of patience which disposes the soul to fortitude, perseverance and stability, and it strengthens all the virtues. My daughter, patience is superior to purity. For without patience, the soul easily unbridles itself, thereby making it difficult for it to remain pure. And when a virtue requires the assistance of another in order to grow, the latter virtue is considered superior to the former. Furthermore, patience is the seed of perseverance, and this seed produces the branch of steadfastness. Oh, how steadfast and stable is the patient's soul in the good it has undertaken. Patience alone is the secret key that opens up the treasury of the virtues. Without this key, the virtues do not produce a life in the soul to enobble it. My daughter, patience nourishes perseverance. For patience keeps the passions at bay and strengthens all the virtues in receiving from pat in receiving from patience continuous growth. The virtues do not feel the fatigue that inconstancy produces. The soul does not lose heart if it is mortified or humiliated, as patience immediately administers to its strength it needs, thus forming within it a stronger and more stable bond of perseverance," unquote.
>> I've also released that video on our main channel where Father Ian explained, "There's no such thing as fate and luck." And that clip that I share is very brief, so I want to include a more detailed explanation here instead. The difference between God's divine predestination and the Lutheran understanding of predestination is the same difference that exists between destiny and fatality. Destiny is God's desire for all of us to be saved without violating our free human will. And the acts we make with our free human will determine our destiny. The acts of our free human will in corresponding to the grace of God that seeks for all souls to be saved or rejection of that grace determines our destiny. The Luther Lutheran understanding of predestination is different. It is rather that of fatality. Meaning God has predetermined whether you will be saved or lost regardless of your acts on earth. And the church has condemned that. That's fatality. Destiny is the result of your free choice actions on earth that nonetheless God foresees sees from eternity. So God knows where everyone is going to go, heaven or hell, even before he created the first atom. Before he created the cosmos, God knew where everyone would go. Some people therefore will ask, well then why did God create Lucifer knowing he would fall and cause all this disorder throughout creation and the destruction of souls and the damnation of angels and humans? And why would God allow Adam to sin knowing he would do the same? at least as a precipitative or rather remote cause of our damnation. In as much as original sin is the remote cause of our actual sin. And the answer to that is that God gives every creature the sufficient exceeding grace whereby it can be saved. So that if a soul goes to hell, it is not because God failed in foreseeing all the grace it would need to be saved and giving that soul that grace which he did, but it is on account of the soul's abusing or ignoring that grace that God saved that leads to salvation that God gave that leads to salvation. So if Lucifer is condemned, it is on account of his perverted free will that has nothing to do with God's grace at work in Lucifer, but has to do with Lucifer's free choice to reject God's grace. And the same applies to Adam and Eve, and the same applies to us.
But there is beauty in all this. For example, he permits certain faults in a soul in order to become more tender to it and make it do greater things for his glory. My daughter, sometimes I allow fault in a soul who loves me in order to clasp her more tightly to myself and to oblige her to do greater things for my glory. In fact, the more I give the soul, permitting even fault in order to be moved to greater compassion for its miseries and to love it more, filling it with my charisms, the more I compel the soul to do greater things for me. These are the excesses of my love. Isn't that a beautiful thought? Because we are all as St. John the God the evangelist says sinners and he who says he is without a sin is a liar. Yes, we are all conceived in sin except Mary and some of us are born without sin very few like John the Baptist and St. Joseph. But we are all sinners in the sense that we all have the within us this tendency to go against God's will as St. Paul elucidates in his letter to the Romans. Who will free me from this body of mine? He says for I do the things I don't intend. He implores God's help to free him. And he says, "I know what will do it. Jesus Christ at work in me."
A person can make a choice in life that impacts their destiny. And have to choose between one of two decisions in making that choice. And sometimes in life there are two choices before us that are both good. And last week I mentioned sometimes we think when deciding between two roads before us which to take that one is bad and one is good. Whereas sometimes in life both roads are good. And I gave that example last week of Tertillian and origin in their debate about whether Christians should stand their ground in the face of martyrdom or flee to spare their life. And I spoke of how Tertilian embraced the idea that they are free to flee and there's no sin providing they're not abandoning anyone or anything but they're preserving their life in order to further the mission of the church like the blessed mother when she and St. John and Magdalene flee during the persecution because the the church needed Mary as and St. Paul did you know St. Paul spoke in similar terms when he said that I don't know whether or not I should stay or go but I because of you for your sake I wish to stay here but he said I'm ready to go and meet God nonetheless of course I'm paraphrasing here in these vocations given by Mary from God to the children and that vocation was to be a seer and a bearer of God's message to the church the seers in both apparition sites asked asked the blessed mother whether they should be married or join a convent or priesthood. Our lady told the girls that the world needs a good example of marriage. So they're all now married. And Magori when they asked the blessed mother whether they should enter the seminary nunnery or become married she allowed them to make that decision because both choices were good pleasing to god. So some of them I think all of them tried to enter the seminary on nunnery the and they all left and now they're all married and the vocation of marriage is a sacred vocation. In fact our lady when talking about marriage and religious vocation states that the tree that produces fruit is marriage whereas the fruit that's produced thereof are vocations to the religious life. Without the tree there are no fruits. Right? Without marriage, there are no priests or nuns. You can't have people on earth without bringing them into existence. Right? So, the vocation of marriage is is the foundation of all vocations on earth. Um, in that sense, they're both good, the religious call as well as the marital call. But one must discern the vocation to which God is calling it. And this is not an easy task. It can take years. Sometimes, and I'm only bringing this up now because I'm on the topic. People ask me why did I become a priest? And apart from the humor that I can I do not know how to sing or dance to make a living. I tell them that I never thought of being a priest when I was young. It was when I went to Magoria that I had this vocation put in my heart. Now certainly before I went to Magordian in 88 and four months thereafter entered the seminary abandoning my scholarship and I was a medical student and on the sports team. I had been a Eucharistic minister at the local church where I was at the university. So I had this inclination to serve God but the priesthood never really entered my mind. My desire was to serve God in some way or another. But that specific call to the priesthood really began at Magigoria and it developed through the council of priests and directors in the following years in Italy. And thanks be to God in Italy they have in my opinion the greatest spiritual directors and guides there are the major basilicas for example that are trained with classes of theology and morality and catechetical teachings of how to properly guide souls. I was there for a couple of decades and I had the great privilege of being graced by their wonderful counsel and expertise and that led me to give my fiat to God. So that's why I had mentioned Magoria and Gabandal last week. I wanted to clarify that because I remember that I never went back to that theme after having brought it up very briefly. But back to last week's theme of God's timeless acts in Mary. You often wonder why Father Iani brought up post-biblical prophetic revelations approved by the church so many times in his talks and why he's referring to these approved writings of the mystics or that mystic. Well, precisely because it's his field. For those who do not know, his specialization is in petristics, dogmatics, and mysticism.
>> To those people who don't believe in post-biblical revelations to their merit, I will say this. It is healthy to be cautious. If someone comes about and says to you, "Oh, the blessed mother told me this." and the church has not even looked into it or approved it and you say we have to follow this message because this this bloke told me that the blessed mother said such and such and we all have to do it. I would say to you be careful. Don't believe it right away. Look into the criteria put out by the congregation for the doctrine of faith in 1978 signed by Cardinal Seper that inform you of how to discern true from false operations and visions. Don't just believe it cuz someone says it. Do your homework. And if you don't know how to discern using these criteria that come out in 1978, then ask a learned theologian in whose council you can find. I say learned before I say holy. Why? St. Terresa Havila was once asked by a fledgling nun, Mother Superior Teresa, if you had to choose between a a learned educated priest and a holy priest to be your spiritual guide, to be your counselor, who would you go to? You know what Teresa Vabila said? A learned educated priest over a holy priest. The little sister was shocked. She said, "Why?" She said, "Because a holy priest will lead you in what he knows that leads you to holiness in his own holiness, his own way of attaining holiness. But because he may not be informed properly of the church's teachings, he may misguide you. He may be holy in his own personal life, but that doesn't mean he's going to lead you to the truth in all things because he has to be educated to guide souls. Sort of like a person who lives, let's say, in a little town and they've never left that town and they know the town like the back of their hand. You go to that town, that person can tell you everything in that town. But once you leave that town, that person is clueless. They don't know where to where to send you. Similarly, a person who's holy in his own life does not necessarily have the qualities to guide you in situations that he's not familiar with like marriage, like discerning truth from false revelations, like the criteria that enable you to discern them and so forth. And this is where education comes in and it's very important. So, to their merit, it's healthy to be cautious. You don't want to just believe everybody. And this is something I want to pause on for a moment. We are now living in an internet world where everyone and their brother is creating their own blog and playing the role of the theologian. You have lay men, lay woman putting out Catholic information on this mystic, that mystic and they have zero credentials by the church or authorization. And you know what happens? And it's happening now. Several of these people they're promoting are declared false by bishops and even by the state. Some people are getting in trouble legally because they're making a profit illegally off of their messages and their messages are fake. It's all meant to bring in money. So be careful here. They said there is a killing to make in the field of religion with dishonest people. Now I'm not condemning the dishonest people because only God can read their motives. Only God can see if they're genuinely misguided, poorly guided, or in it for the money. We don't I don't know. But what I do know is that people who are not authorized by the church to guide these individuals and pro are promoting them do more damage than good. And some of them go so far as to say, well, it doesn't matter. We mix the good with the bad and we let you decide. That is dangerous. That's dangerous. To allow a lie to coexist with the truth is reckless spiritual guidance. You don't do that. Unfortunately, you have these blogs today. So, I would discourage all of you from going to these sites led by unauthorized lay men and women promoting the latest message coming down the pike. The vast majority of which I can tell you as an authorized theologian are false. It's far more advantageous spiritually for you to go to something that is already acknowledged by the church as authentic. And if it isn't, go to a learned theologian who can inform you whether or not this has any merit of confidence. Because remember, we're dealing with your soul here, an immortal beautiful pearl that God has created. And it demands the utmost attention, respect, and love. should not be mixed with falsehoods.
So Melano the 16th century theologian when compartmentalizing the different fields of theology said we don't need revelation anymore as a discipline to be studied. We don't need prophecy because it ended with the death of the last apostle. Well, Cardinal Ratzinger comes along and says this is a false thesis. Do not believe it because revelation never ends. Certainly the public one public revelation of Christ is forever constituted. Nothing can be added or nothing can improve this one public revelation of Christ. That's the foundation and bull work of our faith rather private revelation which is the term melano gave to all postbiblical prophetic revelations. Explicate, don't add, don't improve, explicate the one public revelation of Christ. Now, if you don't know where this is mentioned, just go to the catechism, article 66. I read the English translation of the original Latin, and it is incorrect. In the sentence, the first sentence, if I remember the Catholic Catechism, article 66, it states that the Christian economy um since it is the new and definitive covenant will never pass away and no new public revelation is to be expected before the glorious manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ. Okay. Now the second sentence here in this English translation from the Latin in certain catechisms is flawed. Whoever did the translation didn't do it right. It's in some of the English translations read yet even if revelation is already complete it has not been completely explicit. Now the word has is the proper Latin word. I've seen English translations that read it had meaning past tense not present and that makes a huge theological difference. So the proper tense is is present not past. So it should read as follows. Article 66. Even if revelation is already complete, that is the one public revelation of Christ, it has not been made completely explicit. Okay. So the question is what makes it explicit? Aha. the prophetic revelations that come after Christ like Fatima Fina's divine mercy Margaret Mary sacred heart the Louisa Picareta divine wool revelations and more that are approved by the church people say Louis is not approved oh is that a fact why don't you open up the inside cover of the hours of the passion and look at the four impromatters or the blessed virgin Mary book and look at those impromaters or look at the seal of Staint Hannibal Franches St. Bishop Joseph Leo to the first 19 volumes containing an improm modern hillstat and the list goes on. I mean some people don't do their research and they're quick to make judgment without having the authority to do so. So what makes revelation the one public revelation of Christ explicit is number one prophetic revelation that's ongoing. It never ends. Doesn't add anything to the one public revelation of Christ. does not complete it but it explicates it like nothing else like nothing other nothing else than that. Now of course you also have theological contributions you have magisterial statements all these contribute to the explicating of the one public revelation of Christ even St. Thomas Aquinus stated in the Suma Theologica that what the ancients knew in part about Christ we know more explicitly and um I don't have um that exact passage of the sum in front of me but um Thomas states that we know more than what the early writers knew about Christ because of the developments theologically that have occurred through the councils, through magisterial statements, through prophetic revelations that have contributed to these. In fact, Bonavvenure and St. Thomas Aquinas referred to approved prophetical literature when determining the institution of the sacrament of confirmation. And these all contribute to the growth of the faith. You see now these are the reasons why the church meaning all the baptized in Christ do not always heed when God asks when Mary asks us to a message and an appeal extended to us from above
>> and this one is going to help you understand more about sins and the nature of sins. Listen to this one. >> What is sin? This is what it all comes down to. Many of us have our own understanding of sin and it's not all the time consistent with church teaching. We all know mortal sin, venial sin. These are both actual sins. Mortal sin cuts us off from the grace of God's divine life and venial sin does not. We are still in God's grace in venial sin. Both voluntary venial sin and involuntary venial sin do not cut us off from God's grace. So if you're in God's grace, you can receive God's gifts even if you've committed voluntary venial sin or involuntary venial sin. This is a teaching of the church. You can be in involuntary venial sin and or involuntary venial sin and receive the sacrament of the Eucharist. That's a gift. You can be involuntary venial sin and involuntary venial sin and receive the sacrament of confirmation of marriage of holy orders. But if you receive these sacraments in voluntary mortal in mortal sin, voluntary mortal sin, it's a blasphemy. It's a sacrilege. Right? You still receive the sacrament, but you're condemning your own soul. As St. Paul says in his letter to the Corinthians, he who unworthily receives the body and blood of Christ incurs his own condemnation. But if you're involuntary or involuntary venial sin, that's not a sacrilege. You're not cut off from the grace of God. You can still receive the sacraments. You may not be as disposed as you ought to be, but you're not so indisposed that you are barred from them. So the church in order to dispose you better has at the beginning of the mass the act the penitential act where you are forgiven of venial sins voluntary and involuntary venial sins. Now when you go and confess your sins whether it's sacramentally to the priest or privately or even during the mass at the beginning of the mass during the penitential act we must be mindful of the distinction between contrition and attrition. Attrition takes away venial sin but it does not take away mortal or grave sin. Contrition alone which includes attrition takes away both mortal and venial sin. Contrition is the love of God. Attrition is the fear of hell. How do I know I have the love of God and not just the fear of hell? This is how. By a firm resolution not to commit that sin again. And I mentioned this before and I'll mention it again. Um Judas a Scariot, he had attrition. He did not have contrition. Simon Peter had contrition. The fear of hell does not lead to a resolution. The love of God does. And therefore, Judas never asked for forgiveness. He never resolved not to commit that sin again. Instead, he was deceived. He allowed himself to be deceived by Satan and took his own life. He he despared in the grace of God. He sinned against the Holy Spirit considering his sin greater than God's mercy being deceived by Satan. But it was the fruit of a lot of his misdeeds during his life. He did not believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ. He was a thief. He took from the common purse. St. John the evangelist attest to as much. And he knew the value of nothing and the price of everything. Simon Peter, on the other hand, had contrition because not only did he believe that Christ was divine, as is testified to in Matthew chapter 16, but he repented with a resolution. He asked forgiveness and he made the resolution not to do it again and he kept faithful to that resolve to the point of being crucified upside down.
The church makes the distinction between I just mentioned to you efficacious desire and inefficacious desire. It also makes the distinction between material and formal sin. This applies both to mortal and venal. In the case of venial sin, material sin is the objective act which in and of itself is venally sinful. Sorry, spoke too fast. Material sin, yes, that's correct, is the material act which in and of itself is materialist sinful, is objectively sinful, but it does not have the intention to sin. It's not accompanied by our intention to harm God or our neighbor. Formal sin does. Formal sin, formal venial sin means I intend. I entertain malice. Whether it's venal, more or less venal, or whether it's um wishing in the inside that something happens to this person though I don't do anything. These are sins. But material sin is different. Suppose I'm on a cruise align or a ship, right? and I'm going to a shrine, let's say um some country and I go out on the deck and someone's standing by the railow rail say it's waist knee high and I try to approach the edge of the deck to see the water and slip and accidentally hit the person in front of me. They tumble over, fall in the water and drown. I've committed a material sin but not a formal sin. The act in and of itself is objectively sinful. I killed somebody, but I didn't intend to. So, it's not a formal sin. It's a material sin. In practice, it's no sin at all in God's eyes. But in the eyes of the state, it's involuntary manslaughter. I go to jail. The church doesn't use intentionality all the time. I'm sorry. The state does not use intentionality when it comes to involuntary manslaughter. Only God can read our intention, not the state. But God uses intentionality. And God sees and we don't only God sees another person's intention whether they're committing a voluntary or involuntary sin be it mortal or venial. And that is why Jesus says in scripture never judge. I'm the one who exacts vengeance. Leave vengeance to me. Vengeance is mine. First remove the beam from your own eye before you try to remove it from your brothers.
I very much like this reminder from him about us not taking advantage of God's patience or goodness. Listen to this. >> Well, let us begin with simple steps. We must have a steadfast daily prayer life. There's no option here. If we don't, we won't remain in the grace of God and be pleasing to him as he expects of us. Again, he permits faults, yes, but we should not take advantage of his patience or goodness. So, as soon as we're aware of our sin, we don't hesitate. We confess. as soon as it happens. If it's grave, we go to sacramental confession. If it's veno, we can do a private act of contrition or at the penitential right at the mass. But it is wholesome and a wholesome pract healthy and a wholesome practice. Even encouraged by recent pontiffs to confess even venial sin. We don't have to exacerbate the time of the priest in the confessional and tell them every little scrupulous sin we do in detail. No, we just mention the nature of the sin and the number. That's it. And it sometimes, I don't know if it's due to my impatience only, but it sometimes grieves me when I go to confession and there's a long line I see of people waiting to confess and the priest on a Saturday when the churches are open for confession takes 20 to 30 minutes with one penitant. This should not be the penitant and the priest both should not stay there without any concern of the people in line waiting to go to confession. That's kind of selfish. They should be mindful that what they're here for is to confess their sins and be forgiven and that's it. It's not a counseling session a sense of spiritual direction. No, that's not what Saturdays for. And the priest should be taught properly this and many are not. Unfortunately, they spend I don't know who knows how much time in the confession. That's fine if there's no one waiting online waiting to go to mass. Then you can spend all the time you want. In fact, you could spend six hours with the priest if you want, but not when people are waiting with only 40 minutes to confess or 30 minutes to confess or 1 hour, whatever the priest has on at avail at his availability on sun Saturday. So when I go to give retreats, I understand that the priest and the penitant are there to grow spiritually and that's a good thing. But let us not forget that there are other people also needing the sacrament as well. So the special times I say before a retreat when I'm with other priests I say when you go to confession try not to go stay beyond five 10 minutes nothing more than that you go in there you with an act of contrition contrition means not just you're sorry for going to hell for deserving hell which is attrition but you're sorry above all for offending God who is all good and deserving of all your love that's contrition and contrition is proven by a resolution so you emerge from contrition with a resolve to avoid this or that or to do this or that and the priest gives you a few words of counsel extends to his absolution imposes a penance and that's it you know so um the first thing practically speaking we are to do with this knowledge God has preserved for the worst generation of all and given to us is to have a steadfast daily prayer life frequent often the two sacraments of confession and communion try to spend some time before the blessed sacrament as often as you This is a council of our lady at Goda Bandal in the 60s. Imagine that. That's like 60 years ago. Imagine what the desire is today. She said, "Make frequent visits to Jesus in the blessed sacrament because it consoles him greatly." And if we can't go to a church because it's closed or because it's far away or because we have no transportation, we can enter within the cell of our soul as Jesus instructs St. Katherine of Sienna. Go into the little cell. Now, monks have a cell. It's a place where no one can enter. It's a spiritual place, an interior place, and it has to be accompanied by external silence as well. So, it could be a room. It could even be a garage. It could be the basement. It could be a place where you have a little shrine, the crucifix, maybe some candles, holy water, holy oil, statue of the blessed mother, St. Joseph, the other saints where only you and God enter. And when you enter that little cell, you erase, as it were, all the distractive thoughts from your mind. This is a council of St. Francis de Sales. He says whenever you enter the chapel, be it a physical chapel or that
Of your heart to pray, you eliminate as best you can all distracting thoughts. And this is symbolic of the method in which Moses entered the presence of our Lord on the mountain. He removed the sandals from his feet. The sandals is a symbol of the world's distractive thoughts and trappings.
When we enter the presence of God, we remove the mundane and secular things among us. We are walking on holy ground as it were. And in addition to having a steadfast daily prayer life, receiving frequently the two sacraments, entering throughout the day within this cell of our heart, we do our rounds, our prevenient act at the first rising of the day. Even before our feet hit the floor, we offer our fiat to God.
We meditate on the passion of our Lord, which is the most formidable means of making reparation to his sacred heart. There is no greater work indulgenced and given to us by the church in making reparation to our Lord than the hours of the passion of our Lord Jesus Christ. The original title of which was the 24 hours of the sorrowful passion of our Lord Jesus Christ. We should have a little bit of reflection on this every day even if it's five minutes.
And another form of reparation is the stations of the cross. And the stations don't have to be very long. I try to do the stations often and because of lack of time I do a quick version of the stations when I don't have much time to do the longer one and that is I announce the miss the station I do a prayer while meditating on that station and I move to the next just one prayer some if you have more time you could do a meditation accompanied by reading in addition to that we do acts of corporal spiritual acts of mercy helping those in need with prayer with financial Well, visiting the dead at the cemetery, visiting those in prison, giving food to those who have none, clothing, shelter to those who have none, education to those who have none.
And then we fuse oursel in the divine will in everything we do throughout the day. So that everything becomes one with the acts of Jesus and Mary, the new Adam and the new Eve. And then Jesus will make the acts of Mary our acts whereby he hears our voice in hers. Our thoughts, our affections, our desire, adoration, everything he seed in he saw in Mary, he sees in us. And everything he sees in us, he sees in Mary. If we were but as fortunate as to have that beautiful lot of God raising us up as he did with Louisa to that level of intimacy with the Trinity's acts in Mary and in us.
>> And the next clip is going to be on the animals whether they make it to heaven. By the way, if any of you have any question you'd like me to ask him in future interviews, please send your questions over to our email and I'll try my best to ask him to include as many questions as I can.
that someone asked me once, "Father, do animals go to heaven or to hell or to purgatory?" Now, there's no official teaching of the church on this, but there is a teaching from the church. It's not magisterial but it's from the writings of some doctors and fathers and that is that and I'll mention one Thomas Aquinus of 13th century theologian who taught that only rational creatures go on to their eternal reward. I'm paraphrasing his words but that's in essence his teaching. However, his contemporary Bonavvenger stated that everything we experience in this life, we will experience in the next and even more. Does that not include animals?
Now, it is my theological opinion, not church teaching that there are animals in the next life. The question is where? Remember, heaven is not one static place. It's not one big auditorium. Heaven is a series of dimensions of spiritual realities and places that encompass the whole cosmos and beyond. There's no limit to heaven. It goes on for eternity. But there is the terrestrial paradise known as Eden that still exists and that is part of heaven. It's the material component, you may say, to heaven. And there are probably other com material components to heaven as well. We know that Jesus' body was physically taken up as well as Mary's as well as Enoch's Elijah, right? So where are the these bodies? There must be a physical modality of existence in that immaterial place we call the heavens where these bodies are as well as where the animals are that are in Eden.
So when Adam and Eve were cast out of Eden, God placed a cherub angel with a flaming sword guarding its entrance, which means it's still there and he's still guarding it. And if you read the approved writings of the mystic and Katherine Emer, she talks in detail about Eden and that it still exists with animals still there. Also in Revelation, Jesus comes down as the king of king and lords of lords on a white horse. Where did the horse come from? So you see there are reasons to believe that there are animals in the next life. The question is do they go from this life to the next or are the animals there that don't come from the earth but from some other place or or created in some other place like Eden? That remains open to debate.
>> The following clip I think you're going to find interesting. Listen to this >> now. How can a soul contain anything created when the soul is immaterial? How can it create contain the created acts of material things? Right?
I would ask I would answer that question by asking you a question. Jesus did this by the way and so do the Jesuits. There's a joke when I was in Rome. I studied that at the Gregorian and the joke was a Dominican from the angelican university angelum went to the Gregorian and asked a Jesuit father is it true that you Jesuits answer a question with another question he said who told you that well Jesus asked the Pharisees if you recall when they asked him by what authority do you do these things he said I will answer you if you ask answer my question did John the Baptist come in the name of God or by his own authority and they didn't answer Jesus. So Jesus didn't answer them.
So back to my question to you, I will answer that question with another question. When we sprinkle holy water, right, for the souls in purgatory on the ground, this is an pious traditional practice of many Catholics and Christians. They put their hand when they enter the church into the holy water. They bless themselves and they sprinkle a little on the ground. How does that material water influence the immaterial souls in purgatory? Well, you see the connection. Souls that are immaterial or bodies that are material in the ground that have died and their souls are in purgatory can be influenced by immaterial things or material things. Material blessed water can influence an immaterial soul in purgatory or an immaterial blessing of a priest or an exorcism can influence a physical body that's possessed. You see the connection?
Similarly, the soul has the capacity even though it's immaterial to contain the material order. God in the beginning did not create any separation between the two before original sin. The separation came after original sin. That is the separation between matter and non-matter or physical and metaphysical. They were coalesced in the beginning. They were one. Yes, they were different, but they were not separated. They were distinct without being separated. Just like the Trinity, three distinct persons, but they were inseparable. Just like the body and blood of Christ. They're different, but yet they're inseparable.
>> There are three more clips I have included in this compilation for you. Again, thanks so much for taking a little bit of your time to be here with us. So, now let's start with this. Now in us there is a sort of split personality in all of us because we are have within us a war between good and evil.
There was Plato who once wrote that the evil spirits that torment us and the good spirits that encourage us are sort of like a chariot holding two reigns of two horses. One is pulling and one is healing. And the chariot or the charioteer has to be clever in balancing the two. If he pulls back too much on one horse and releases the other, he gets thrown off the chariot. So he said Plato similarly we are at war with two in two forces within us good and evil. St. Paul says in his letter to the Romans that who will free me from this body of mine because within me I have this law of good that I wish to do and the law of bad that I do not wish to do. This is in Romans 7:24. He says, "Oh, what a wretched man that I am."
>> And then there's this one on the Trinity. Listen to this. >> Here's a theological question for all of you theological listeners. How many persons are there in God?
Now, this is a trick question because if you say three, you're right. If you say one, you're right. In the Trinity, there are three. In Jesus, there is one. Now, here's another question. How many natures are there in God? There is only one. God has one divine nature that unites the three divine persons, but they are distinct in their persons. And in Jesus, there is one divine person, but two natures. Jesus who was a divine nature with the father and the son one in nature with them assumes an external second human nature. I don't mean second nature as divine but second as human. He has a divine nature from eternity. He assumes a human nature in time 2,000 years ago.
>> So this is going to be the last clip for the first part which is going to be on holy reason. And we'll proceed to the second half of this video after this. I encourage you to apply good holy reason in your discernment process of knowing the will of God in your daily lives and in knowing the will of God living in it. One cannot live in the will of God without knowing the will of God. And one cannot know the will of God without discerning the will of God. And one cannot discern the will of God unless one exercises the virtues which produce discernment.
>> So this is going to be the second part of this video. And here's the table of contents for this one. Let's start with the saints.
>> You will you will be surprised or maybe you won't that many of the saints have defects of character not of virtue of character. Many saints are impossible to get along with. You will find if you are familiar with heography that the vast majority of the saints I would say 90% had character problems but they were holy in the virtues and holy in their doctrine. Very few were people pleasers. Very few saints were people pleasers. One of the few were St. Bernardet of Lord or the Seers of Fatima or Lucia even though she's not yet declared a saint. I think she will be but the children were. Or you have um um little Margaret of Castello. Very few of the saints were people pleasers. Men the majority rubbed people the wrong way. Okay.
What is my point in all this? When we attain or seek to attain holiness, our focus should be on God. Number one, his blessed mother. The angels and saints examples that have been left us. The angels in heaven. Of course, there are examples in scripture. There are examples in church doctrines, you know, um and also the lives of the saints that are now in heaven, who are now in heaven. But we should not focus on each other and our characters. We should not look and say, you know what, I can tell a if a person is holy or not holy. I can sense it. I could hear it. I say to that person, maybe you can, God bless you, but be mindful that character is not holiness. You could be the most pleasing person to all the people in the world and still not be a saint. Let's not confuse the two. Nowhere in the gospel does it say Jesus was nice. Nowhere in the church's documents does it say to become a saint, you have to be nice. The word nice is not used. It says you have to be charitable, kind, compassionate, loving. Paul lists these fruits of the Holy Spirit in his letter. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is forbearing. Love endures all ills. But it doesn't have to be nice. Nice is a horizontal social virtue. It's not a Christian virtue. Christian virtues are in the form of a cross. They are horizontal, but they're also vertical. They're both. The horizontal alone has no merit. That's philanthropy. The vertical which is divine is always joined to the horizontal which is neighborly brotherly. So love is vertical, charity is horizontal. If you want to know the distinction between those two words now you know it. Love is of God, charity is toward neighbor. Thomas Aquinas makes this distinction that forms the cross. When love of God and love of neighbor meet, sometimes it's a cross. Let's be honest. Our neighbors can be our crosses and they lead us to God through that cross.
>> And now moving on to the second point here. Father Ianuzi talked about how some of the saints even ceased to sin deliberately meaning committing formal sins.
>> There had been saints in the church's history that had arrived at a state of union with God where they cease to sin deliberately that is commit formal sins. And such individuals were Teresa Havila St. John of the Cross or Katherine of Sienna and so forth. These individuals in their writings in their revelations realized that or attained a state in which they realized that they stopped sinning deliberately. Now this is called formal sins. Formal sinfulness where you cease to offend God deliberately. But material sinfulness there's no evidence to suggest that anyone is was exume exempt from that. The difference between formal sin and material sin is this. Formal sin is forming the intention or deliberately of violating God's commandment. appictical or casuistic commandments call them what you may that means the person is culpable of a bad action or thought that's formal sinfulness saints have arrived at the point where they cease to do this altogether material sinfulness sinfulness on the other hand is committing externally objectively an action that does not conform with God's commandments despite your intention so if I have the best intentions to do something right but do something wrong objectively without having any bad intention That's called material sinfulness, which in God's eyes is not sin really at all. But the action, you see, is materially sinful.
>> And on to the third point in this list, why we should always go to a priest for spiritual direction. I think with how easy it is to create your own channel on social media and to start giving out spiritual directions to your audience. I think this is something we should bear in mind and pay close attention to
>> always to a priest. That is their role. That's their responsibility. A lay person does not have the responsibility nor the graces of guiding a soul as a priest because he's not ordained. He doesn't have that anointing and he does not have that authority. And yet without dismissing anything of the importance of the roles of the lay people in the world that sustain the church that are the foundation of the priesthood, you cannot priest without parents right without diminishing their role in the least. have to accentuate the importance when it comes to spiritual direction of the role of the priest well over that of the lay person precisely because of this authority given to him by ordination doesn't make him better than the other person. It simply for the sake of your soul assures you that you are no longer responsible for your choices once the priest tells you what to do. You cannot say that thing same thing with a lay person who tells you what to do. You cannot. But you can do it with a priest. So let's suppose you go to confession and the priest tells you to do something that's wrong and you do it. God will not hold you responsible for that wrongdoing. He will hold the priest responsible. This cannot be said for any lay person. So if you go to a lay person and ask him for advice, he tells you what to do and you do it, God will hold you responsible for that, not that lay person. You see the difference?
Now I'm telling this to you for your own spiritual betterment, not for mine. This doesn't help me in the slightest. I'm just saying this for your sake because I see out there many lay people not even going to priests. And this is very dangerous because as I mentioned at the outset they start to predict and say this go to this safe refuge on this year this is going to and it never happens. It's always a failure and people lose valuable money investing in these things only to fail and they lose valuable graces by not investing wisely the graces God gives them where they should be vested.
And then as for the fourth point here, every difficulty in life that we cannot control is an opportunity for us to exercise resignation.
>> So resignation is a very powerful virtue. Why is it so powerful? Because it is so easily and frequently accessible. Let me ask you a question. How often do you find yourself on a daily basis in a situation that you cannot control? Be it traffic, be it waiting online, be it a problem with your credit card or your communications with others or misunderstand. This is something that happens often every day. That is difficulties that we cannot control. Every diffic difficulty you cannot control is an occasion to exercise resignation.
Now, does this mean we ought to embrace and agree with every difficulty that occurs with us? No, it does not mean that. The church teaches that there is such a thing called fraternal correction. Take an extreme example, Jesus in the marketplace. So if someone does something wrong to our neighbor, we don't simply say, "Okay, we agree with it." And we resign oursel to let them continue abusing our neighbor. No, we accept what we cannot change without agreeing with it. Understand the distinction? We can accept things we cannot change without agreeing with them if they are evil. I refer you if you have any problems with this teaching to the book the dialogue of divine providence written by St. Katherine of Sienna dictated by God to her. Jesus tells of Katherine and so does God the father that if she sees someone committing a mortal sin right and she in her heart believes it's a mortal sin she is not to judge the person that is judge their motives their intentions but to pray with warm tears for their conversion. And in praying for their own conversion, they are both resigning themselves to the sinfulness of that person without agreeing to it. Follow me?
We can see something wrong. Whether it's in television, whether it's with politics, with um lewd, promiscuous entertainment, whether it's through bad language, taking the Lord's name in vain on almost every movie or film you see today. We cannot control these things, but we can offer them up. We can for every let's say blasphemy that said offer up an I love you Jesus in reparation. So we're not agreeing with this but we're accepting something we cannot change and we're transforming that into something good. That's resignation. It doesn't mean lying back and allowing someone to walk over you like a doormat because remember nowhere in the scripture or in the catechism will you ever find it written that we are created to be a doormat. Nobody is. We are on the contrary created with dignity. dignity and no human being can take that away. So no one's created to be a doormat. All right? Therefore, if someone says in the name of obedience, you must lie on the ground and um behave like a doormat, you have every right as a Christian to say I disagree with this. This is not the way God made us. And there's no sin in that. Obedience is first. His teachings in the scripture through the magisterium and then to our neighbor. All right? So progression is a growth that happens and one of the virtues that help us progress is resignation. I wanted to emphasize this. I did not intend to but why not? It came up because it is so frequently available to us to exercise. At least the occasions are.
>> And then going on to the fifth point on this list is how the saints are competing against each other in heaven.
>> There is no competition in heaven in the human sense of the word. There is no let's say imperfection of the virtues. There is no pride seeking advantage. None of that exists in heaven. For the self, for the purpose of self advantage, a grandisement or victory over another. On the contrary, in heaven, there is this mutual commerce so to speak, a divine commerce where everyone is in sync in symbiosis and knowing fully that what one does affects all the others and itself. So if one were to seek in heaven to obtain something for its own betterment over the others, it would negatively impact the others and itself. Now I'm speaking in the human sense of the word competition and vying. In heaven, there is a competition and a vying, but not as we understand it on earth. Let me give you an example, a practical example that occurred during the old Soviet Union before the fall of communism. This was during the time of Stalin when there was the gulag and Christians were sent there in Siberia to be given a lesson not to preach Christianity anymore. Well, there was a group of Russian citizens and they would travel. These are Orthodox Christian Russians, okay? They would travel for miles on end to share their meal with another and would not eat alone because they consider that in their culture offensive. They would rather fast than eat alone and therefore they would go the extra mile to find someone with whom to share their meal. Now this is a dimination of the charity that's expressed in heaven. These Russians needed to naturally nurture their body, but they were willing to forego that satiety for the sake of others. And they found a virtue in sharing their meal with others that surpassed that of satisfying their own human desire. And in that selfless act found greater joy than in simply eating alone. Well, heaven is like that. In heaven, there is this infused knowledge of God along with a an infused desire on the part of the trinity within all the angels and saints that informs them and convinces them in their intellect and will that whatever they think, say, or do is connected to all creation in heaven and on earth. And with that knowledge and desire, they seek to increase the glory of God by going out of their way so to speak, petitioning God, imploring God, intreating him for an occasion to increase his glory. Now, naturally, God in and of himself is self-sufficient. He does not increase in his essential glory. But the angels and saints can indeed impact what we may refer to as accidental glory, including that of God himself.
Now for the next list of five just to make it easier for us to refer to all the points presented so far I'll start with number one again and for this one is on how the angels compete eagerly with one another in heaven.
>> In fact in heaven the angels lie with each other in order to give God greater glory. So in this sense there is a good wholesome approach to seeing God within oneself and that is human right but not without the divine. Okay. Now when I say the eternal embraces both, this is what I'm referring to. Not the egocentric human, but the holy human way. When we die, remember, and we go to heaven, God willing, God does not destroy our human nature. The human remains for all eternity. We remain human creatures throughout eternity. We don't become angels. We become saints confirmed in God's grace in the botific vision while retaining our human creaturehood. That is important. Okay. Now the eternal is different from the human and divine in this sense. While the human is focused on the individual and the divine on neighbor or the other individuals, the eternal takes the two and elevates them to an eternal mode. What does that mean? If I were to do something for myself that is go to mass that is do holy mortification go to confession I'm helping myself that's a human approach and that's okay and that's good and then when I do it for others right altruistically that is also helping my human neighbor but it's also something that helps not just me but someone else okay now up until now helping myself or helping my neighbor I'm acting in time and space. That is I cannot go into the past and I cannot go into the future so long as I'm praying in the human mode or in the divine mode. Okay. St. Teresa of Jesus speaks of the first four mansions as a human mode of praying, thinking and acting. She speaks of the fifth and sixth and seventh mansions in her pursuit for perfection as the divine mode of thinking, acting and praying. Now up until now in the soul's human or divine mode of thinking, acting and praying, it cannot go into the past or into the future and impact other humans at all. It is not until God bequeaths to the soul his own eternal state. Remember God has neither beginning nor end. He is eternal. When he gives the soul the gift of living in his divine will, he be bequeaths to it his own method of praying, of acting, of thinking, the divine and eternal and the human coalesce. So the eternal absorbs the human and the divine and brings it to an eternal level whereby whether the soul prays for itself or for others or does good deeds for itself or for others, it is doing it in an eternal way whereby although its prayers are impacting people in the present, they're also exceeding the present. While they are imminent, they are also transcendent. The eternal basically diffuses one's own thoughts, words and prayers throughout time and space and in eternity.
>> And then going on to the next point is how silence is the medium through which God always speaks.
>> Now how do we enter within the trinity? Number one, by removing the external noise and distractions when we pray. Be in a state of recollection. Silence is the medium through which God always speak. Silence. Again, how do we allow God's thought to spring from within for it to spring up in us from within God himself? In silence, we attune our ears to God. And in that silence and in the attuning of our ears, we begin to discern his voice little by little. Remember, there is no infallible monopoly here. Let not one person listening to this broadcast think every time they enter into God's presence, God will always talk to them the way they intend. That's not how it works. Remember, God is the author. We don't tell God what to do. We don't tell God what to say. We don't tell him when to speak. He does this in and of himself, free of our effort. You know, this is God's pure gratuitous act on his part for love of us. And for this reason there has to be a certain amount of self-abasement, nothingness, awareness of our nothingness before God. And suppose we enter into a state of recollection and ask God for a word of knowledge or ask him to address an issue that is pressing to us and we hear nothing. Let it go. Don't force the issue. God will eventually speak when his time comes. When his time comes for him to decide. Now certainly there's nothing wrong with persisting. Like Jesus said, the woman, you know, um that wanted something after her persistence got it by constantly banging on the door this magistrate. So there is a place for persistence and that is called intercessory prayer. But that's not what we're talking about here. We're not talking about intercessory prayer. We're talking about contemplative prayer, meditational prayer. It's different than intercessory prayer. There's a time for that. When we become recollected and enter the enter the presence of God, we are not insisting. We are allowing him to speak. And suppose the Lord gives us a word that we don't understand. We as Mary did ponder on these things. And that's what Mary did. Remember after the temple event, she finds her son there after he's gone for 3 days. and she didn't quite understand in that moment what he meant when he said, "Do you not know that I must be in my father's house?" She did not realize until after having pondered on his words and the Holy Spirit through that pondering reveal to her progressively the meaning behind those mysterious words and how they symbolized the three days that he would be missing in the tomb. Mary did not in that moment realize that this was a symbolic gesture of the infant Jesus at the age of 12. He was preparing her for the three days when he would be in the tomb and where she would be longing for him more than ever. But she understood later by pondering. So we ponder and this is how we also allow God to reveal to us as he did to Adam his thoughts.
For the next one, we're going to revisit this point where Father Yanuzi talked about how God's soul snatching at the moment of death.
>> The patron saint of confessors, St. Jean Vienna, who had an a case where a mother depressed, wanting to die, approached him because her son committed suicide, jumping off a bridge. That at the moment of death is the soul snatching. God's soul snatching. Because in that moment everything is revealed to the soul. It's a very august solemn moment. We can't understand it now because we don't have the demons and the angels vying for our soul right now which happens at the moment of death. And when they do that all these internal visions, internal loions start to happen inside of us that we never experienced in our life. We hear voices. We we hear and see interiorly images that we don't see right now. Um at the moment of of disillusionment in seeing and in experiencing firsthand how much we the trinity love the soul and do love it now. The soul feels so much sorrow that it repents for not having loved us. It recognizes our will as the beginning and completion of its life. And to offer satisfaction, to offer satisfaction, it accepts its death to accomplish one act in our will. Because without one act of no will, it cannot enter heaven. And then he adds, with the exception of the most perverted and obstinate, how many are saved at the moment of death by virtue of this entirely loving strategy of ours, even if this means that they have to endure a long time in purgatory. This is why the moment of death is our daily soul snatching. It is the finding of the human creature who was lost. Okay.
Now, um if a person commits suicide by jumping off a bridge or is under the influence of drugs which mitigates their deliberation and therefore actions, it doesn't mean they're lost for eternity. Before the second Vatican council, I want to make sure I say this right. No, it wasn't before the second Vatican council. It was after the second Vatican council. A few years thereafter, the church made a law that reversed its previous law. The previous law was no one who committed suicide could be buried in a Catholic cemetery. But then shortly after the second Vatican council, it allowed that. Why? And good for good reason. Because only God sees what's going on inside a person when they take their life. Not everyone who commits suicide is lost. So St. John Bna, the patron of confessors, was approached by a desperate woman, a mother of a son who had killed himself. And she said, "I have no more reason to live. Why is God keeping me here? I think my son is in hell. Now, this is at the time when late, you know, 1700s when people were thinking that suicides are a straight ticket to hell. So, she was convinced her son's in hell. And he told her, I will pray. When he saw her again, he said, your son was saved. God revealed it to him. That from the moment he jumped to the moment he died, he converted. He repented for what he had done. You see, sometimes an act of suicide is impulsive. It's not always premeditated. It's not planned in advance and there's a lot of duress that accompanies it and therefore lack of deliberation, lack of premeditation and therefore God sees these mitigating factors that we don't see. So here in a case like this with uh Jean Vienn who lived from like the 1700s to the 1800s was in a time when suicide was considered taboo completely. It still is but we understand now that some people make mistakes even at the moment of death like that and God can save that. soul even at the moment of death with their repentance.
>> And together we have been reminded that when we say yes to God unconditionally, he gives us more of his riches.
>> We are called to become victim souls to offer ourselves to God. And the concept victim soul does not necessarily mean you're a mystic. It means that you're giving your will to God unconditionally, knowing that he will never take more than what you offer, more than what he knows he needs from you. God is calling us, not just the mystics, but we members of the mystical body of Christ in these end times to allow Christ to exercise his virtues within us. And if we allow him to do so, he will withdraw his chastisements. So that means we're called to be victim souls as well in this sense. You see, God just not does not simply choose us to be victims. He has to first form us. And this is how he does it. He indwells within us little by little with our consent. And then when he raises us up to give our fiat, unconditional fiat to him, then he relies upon us and asks of us without forcing us but with our free will and consent to participate in his work of redemption whereby we like the virgin mother become co-redeemers with Christ. So you see, if God chooses at least one soul in each epic to be a victim's soul, to intercede on behalf of others, and to avert chastisements and wars and plagues and other things from earth that come on account of human sinfulness and evil on account of human sinful sinfulness. It doesn't mean that these victim souls are only mystics that have extraordinary phenomena, mystical phenomena. These victim souls can be the average Joe, the average Jane. They are you and me provided we welcome God into our lives and do not fear that if I give God my fiat he will take everything from me and leave me without anything. No, this is not true. Whenever we say yes to God unconditionally, he gives us more of his riches. He will remove from us with our consent, never without our consent, the things that hinder the fullness of the divine will from taking root and making our souls fruitful. He will remove from us with our consent only things that keep our souls from making its flight to heaven. I don't mean that we die. I mean that we become detached from things interiorly even though exteriorly we make use of them and he makes our souls fruitful and full of grace so that we may administer this grace as co-redeems with Christ to the race of which we belong.
>> We are going to be judged by what we know. Therefore, during this one particular interview, I asked Father Iani this question. Isn't it safer for us all to know less than?
>> Well, on the one hand, the greater the grace, the greater the glory. So, the more grace one receives from God, the higher the call to holiness and glory one receives. On the other hand, the higher the call, the higher the fall. But as if one receives great grace from God but is not faithful to that grace, the greater the fall just like Lucifer, right? He was the greatest angel and rational being in heaven enjoying more grace than any other angel. But because he was not faithful in the test, he had the greater fall than any other angel. So grace brings responsibility. We find this in the gospel of Luke 12 47-48. If you recall, Jesus relates that there was a servant who knew his master's will but did not make preparations nor act in accord with his master's will and therefore he was beaten severely. But there was a servant who was ignorant of the master's will and acted in a way deserving of a severe beating. But he was beaten only lightly. And therefore Jesus says, much will be required of the person entrusted with much and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more.
So to summarize, all creatures that are created in God's image and likeness, endowed with a free will and a free intellect, whereby they can freely think and freely act, are called to strive to receive the greatest outpouring of grace they can receive from God. So everyone has a duty to receive the maximum amount of grace they can. This is not an option. And it's a duty and therefore one is obliged to do so. So the question, we are judged by what we know. Would it be safer for souls to know less? The answer is no. Because God demands of all souls the greatest amount of grace they can receive. Now what limits their knowledge and the grace they can receive is not God. It's the human condition. For example, a person that is not born in a Christian family is not expected by God to follow the Christian rule above and beyond their own conscience. That is above and beyond what their conscience is able to dictate. The conscience enables a person to know right from wrong in general terms without any formal training or education. the Christian rule that was revealed to us and that is contained in the old and new testaments. For example, the book of Exodus in the Old Testament chapter 20 gives us the ten commandments and Christ gives us an 11th commandment in the New Testament when he says love one another as I have loved you. And when he says that the new law that I come to bring does not do away with the old law but perfects it, it means that the Christian law is founded upon the ten commandments of the Old Testament but perfects it with the new law of loving one another as God loves us. A person born without this Christian revelation is not expected to live by the same standard of holiness by a person who is raised in a Christian family and by a Christian standard. Therefore, God judges us according to the condition in which we are raised. our environment, our family, the religion of our parents that we're raised in, even our own acumen, spiritual and intellectual aptitude. Not everyone has the same intellectual prowess or spiritual development. For example, St. John of the Cross, mystical doctrine of the church. In his work, the ascent of Mount Carmel and another work, the spiritual canacle reveals that not all souls are called by God to the same degree of holiness. Paul alludes to this in his letter to the Corinthians when he says that not all are given the same gifts but the gifts are distributed differently according to God's good will for the building up of the body of Christ which is the church some are given the gift of exorcism. Some are given the gift of administration. Some are given the gift of prophecy. Some of healing and the list goes on. So according to the gifts that we receive from God, we will be judged. But we are all called to ask God for all the gifts. He won't give them all to us in the same measure. But he does endow us with gifts and graces according to our vocation in life that he chooses. And he holds us responsible. He holds all of us responsible to attain to the greatest g graces that we can possibly receive. always in accordance with our vocation in life that he chooses. So we should never say, okay, God is a just judge and he will judge us according to our knowledge, our grace, our call to holiness, our vocation. Therefore, since I don't want to be judged, I won't ask for anything great. I won't ask for holiness. I'll just ask for a little bit and just get by in life this way. I don't have to do much. I don't have to risk much. No, that is not the Christian call or the call of anyone made in God's image and likeness. God calls us all to strive for the greatest gifts. Even Paul says that right in Corinthians chapter 13 in his second letter, he says strive for the greatest gifts. And he says of faith, hope, and love, the greatest is love. So if someone is very let's say intellectually endowed by birth by God's grace and another person is not that doesn't mean that the intellectual person can attain a higher state of holiness. What makes a person attain the highest state of holiness is love. That's what makes a person holy and great and glorious in heaven. The greater the love, the greater the glory. And what allows us enables us to attain great love, God's grace. So we should all pray for the greatest outpouring of grace because that makes us the greatest of all by virtue of the fruit of grace which is love in us. Love, faith, and hope. The greatest of these is love.
>> I've covered this with clips of Father Iani before, but there are still some of you are confused about this and many are still asking questions about it to help them with their understanding. So please listen to this one.
>> In these days of darkness, in these days of confusion, in these days of sin, God's grace is being unleashed now more than ever in the history of mankind, upon the world, upon mankind. We are living in the beginning of a second new Pentecost. Just the beginning. It will be extended throughout all mankind through a two-fold process. First, a purification, then a sanctification. And that sanctification includes illumination and unification. So, we progress from a purification to a two-fold sanctification, namely illumination and unification. This is the new Pentecost that we are just beginning to experience right now. And it will arrive at zenith after the purification of the entire planet and mankind that will purge the entire planet renewing it through a fire, a baptism of fire which St. Peter speaks of in his second letter. He says that there are three heavens and three earths. The first heaven and earth were done away with the deluge, the flood at the time of Noah. We are therefore now living in the second heavens and second earth which is reserved for fire, a baptism of fire. The earth will be covered in fire. This has been prophesied not just not just by St. Peter but also by many approved saints and mystics. Katherine an emerick, Maria Taii, the writings of Louisa Picareta. She speaks of the whole earth being consumed in fire to prepare the world for the era of the divine will. The era of the sons of God who live in his divine will and many others do as well. In fact, if you go to my doctoral dissertation, just parenthetically, not to get off the point of this new outpouring of the Holy Spirit where God's grace is being outpoured like never before. If you go to the the thematic index at the back of my doctoral dissertation that is approved by the pontipical university authorized by the Vatican by the holy sea you will find under the theme chastisements that there will be fire that will come both from the heavens and from the earth from within the earth you know who also speaks about this two-fold fire the blessed virgin Mary in the approved apparitions of Akita Japan She says that fire will fall from the sky sparing neither leoty nor priests. The good will suffer with the bad when meaning no rapture. The good will suffer with the bad and the living will envy the dead for a short time. This is the purification of the earth and the people on it. Twothirds will die of humanity. This has been prophesied in the Old Testament by Zechar Zechariah. It's been prophesied also by these prophets. And God will purge the earth with fire that will come from within it. There will be explosion from the core of the earth and from above the atmosphere will catch fire. Only by God's special signal grace will onethird of humanity be saved. No one will survive during this purification. No one. without God's having sent out his angels to mark certain individuals who will pass through this purification into the era of peace, the zenith of the new Pentecost where there will be a royal nation of priests where the meek will inherit the earth where every knee will bend and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. in these times of testing where the outpouring of the Holy Spirit has just begun so as to be informed when the purification begins and not fall into deception or confusion or follow these papal persecutors as I call them who mislead you from the vicor of Christ and from the teachings of the church. And here's another clip of Father Iani. Still on the subject of the chastisement, the fire, and what comes after. But try and
relate what he said in the first clip with this one. Listen to this.
>> I would like to address the theme that pertains to these end times in which we live. And that is the general state of confusion in the world and in the church that leads to the fulfillment of the Our Father prayer, namely the reign of God's will on earth as in heaven. The Lord is reminding us why he permits why God permits the confusion that we presently experience even at the hands of evildoers. Certainly, it is in part the result of our collective sinfulness. And this collective sinfulness that is instigated by the devil who works through sin in man is part of God's divine providence. God doesn't will evil, but he permits it as he did original sin, as he did the rebellion of the angels, for ultimately a greater good, but only for those who love him and seek to live in his will.
Now the result of good Satan's activity in these end times through confusion leads to chastisements and that is why the Lord said in this third renewal when the earth is purged God will reveal what his divinity did within his humanity. When he speaks of the earth being purged he's referring to chastisements. The earth will be purged and mankind in large part destroyed meaning kill their bodies. not their souls and purified through fire. He speaks of three renewals also St. Peter when he speaks of three heavens and three earths. St. Peter states that the first heavens and earth were done away with on account of the deluge the flood and that's when God appeared in the sky as a rainbow presence of God's blessing upon mankind and God promised he would never flood the earth again in that way. So we are living in the second heavens and second earth following the flood. And these second heavens and second earth St. Peter states are reserved for fire. And when the fire comes the earth will be purged and there will be a new heavens and a new earth. Fire will come from the center of the earth. What is that? The earth's core which NASA has stated has been cracked years ago. Maybe NASA's telling the truth for once. Who knows? That fire will come from the core of the earth. But not just from the earth. Remember what our ladies prophesied at Aikita Japan which was approved by the church. That fire will fall also from the sky sparing neither ley nor priests. The good will suffer with the bad. The living will envy the death to overwhelm mankind and make him believe that God exists.
Now this fire will strike first and foremost evildoers and those who are good and live a life of simplicity will be spared and the fire that descends upon earth will damage crops and mankind's nourishment and this fire will flare up in countries. Further purging the earth and man is the sword that represent wars which we see happening today. And there are other forms of chastisement. Fire, sword, and blood. Water also will spill out of its boundaries. Not as in the days of Noah, covering all generations, the entire generation of that time, but impacting nations, certain nations, not all. And wind will spill out of their boundary to destroy part of humanity and bury man. The winds, the waters, fire will all concur in purging the earth, in getting rid of all re evildoers. While those who live in God's divine will will have dominion over these elements, peels of thunder and lightning, a terrible hail, earthquakes that annihilate entire cities. There will be sudden deaths. There will be contagions. But in the end, the nations will turn back to God. that is the remnant survivors which in sacred scripture is more no no more than onethird of humanity. So twothirds will be destroyed by these means.
Now this introduces the book of revelation the times in which we're living right now. The book of Revelation talks about the evil of Satan through sin in the world generating a confusion that God avails himself of without condoning and leads to through progation, illumination, unification, and divinization.
>> And I'll make this one as the last one, still on the same subject, but with much longer explanation. And I hope all of you have learned a lot so far. Remember, Satan knows his time is short because Satan can quote scripture as we know from Jesus being tempted by Satan three times in the desert. Satan knows the scriptures. He knows that his time is short. He knows that Mary is appearing throughout the world in the last 150 years, more than in the last 6,000 combined. So, he knows that something is about to go down and it's happening already.
The current state of the church today therefore is marked by one of war battle interior and exterior attacks. Um the year 2018 I foretold to several people that we would experience in the church a schism and not just that but a rebellion of which St. Paul spoke of in his second letter to the Thessalonians. And this rebellion in Greek known as apostasia is a defection of the true faith from within. From within. And this rebellion that Paul spoke about precedes the day of what he refers to as the man of iniquity. The abomination of desolation that will seat himself in the throne of God and declare himself God. We are living in those days today. these days of rebellion that must preede the day of the Lord. There is a lot of confusion being generated as a result of it. Our Lady foretold this confusion in the church in her apparitions acknowledged by the church where she stated that there will be cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops opposing bishops, priests who are devoted to be will be persecuted by their own brethren and the list goes on and on. fire will fall from heaven, sparing uh neither priests nor leoty, consuming a great part of humanity. The good will suffer with the dead, the living will envy the dead. The good will suffer with the bad, the living will envy the dead and so forth. Those days are approaching and Peter speaks of this also in his second letter. This fire that will purge the earth.
Now the question is and not to go too much into the details which only God knows of how this fire will come about. Is it possible that it can come by way of a comet? You know, a comet has been prophesied in the writings of the saints before. And I speak of this in a publication I put out several years ago entitled Antichrist and the end times. And these saints who speak of an approaching comet describe the effects thereof. And one is fire. We know that according to several of the scientists that studied the comet that was to have impacted the earth and brought about the end of the dinosaurs and in us into sort of an ice age for a while. According to some of these scientists when the comet impacted the earth it generated a radiated heat that ignited the atmosphere and parts of the earth. We don't know exactly how this fire will come. But what we do know is that it will serve as an instrument in the hands of God to thin the ranks as in the days of Noah, as in the days of Gideon. And this is necessary in order for mankind to return back to God. The way in which the world is going today is a very precipitous one. mankind has by and large lost his focus and nothing will bring him back in my opinion if not only prayer, fasting and if not that God alone. Therefore, the blessed mother as a prophet in these end times has been calling us to do that, reminding us that we are to do penance twice a week, pray three hours a day, and offer up these acts to God in reparation for the atonement of the sins of this generation, which has surpassed the sins of all previous generations. So we are called in these end times to become repairers of the breach, intermediaries, intercessors on behalf of mankind before God, asking him to spare like Abraham asked God with his wager these people on account of the few who are willing to turn to him and implore his forgiveness. For this reason, our Lord also raised up a prophet in these end times by the name of St. Felina Kavalska and gave her a beautiful 3:00 p.m. prayer that is specifically intended for this generation and also gave us a great feast the first Sunday after Easter that would set humanity back on the straight course by removing all sin and punishment from him so that God's anger will not be ignited. So this divine mercy institution given by Pope John Paul II making its feast day the first Sunday after Easter a universal feast in the Roman martyology and the chaplet that is to be recited every day at 3 p.m. the hour of the power the hour of power is a very formidable weapon in our hands in addition to the rosary and the scapular whereby we defeat Satan help convert and save souls especially our own.
The confusion that our lady foretold bishop against bishop, cardinal against cardinal and so forth. As I mentioned, we have experienced in these end times and it will get worse. I'm sharing that with you now. In the next few years, it's going to intensify. What is missing from us and that is necessary for us to reconcile with God if not love and humility. These are the two virtues that we are missing as members of the body of Christ. Love and humility. Love is necessary in us to forgive one another. Without forgiveness, there is no mercy. And humility is necessary in order for us to lower our own heads and allow Christ's head to be seen. In other words, allow Christ's message that is being proclaimed today to be heard by us and transmitted by us to all. What is that message today? Unity, love, humility and renewal. This renewal comes to us by way of a progation, an illumination, a unification and a divonization of the intellect, the memory and the will. We cannot grow or reconcile ourselves with God unless we lower our heads and allow his divine head to be heard and seen.
Now in the church today, we're seeing this rebellion of which St. Paul spoke of in 2 Thessalonians on the part of both leoty and prelets that do not wish to conform to Christ's design of a divine chain of command. What do I mean by that? Christ instituted in the church before he left and sent us the Holy Spirit what is known as the sacraments including holy orders that gives us the eukarist and confession, anointing of the sick, marriage, baptism and so forth. Confirmation. Yeah. And the holy sacra the sacrament of holy orders is a chain of command. It's a hierarchy. Okay. What does this mean? It means that at the top of this hierarchy there is the holy trinity and right beneath that there is Christ's vicer the Roman pontiff and beneath that you have his brother bishops but the difference between the brother bishops and the pope is that the pope alone possess a supreme power of teaching and that all the bishops are to be in union with him. I'm going to quote to you from the first Vatican Council statement. And now the first Vatican Council took about a year. It was from 1869 to 1870. And it states that which our blessed Lord established in the blessed apostle Peter for the continual salvation and permanent benefit of the church must of necessity remain forever by Christ's authority. in the church which founded as it is upon a rock will stand firm until the end of time. Blessed Peter receive the keys of the kingdom from our Lord Jesus Christ. To this day and forever Christ lives and presides and exercises judgment in his successors. So the office of the papacy experiences in its successors the authority of Christ. It continues whoever succeeds to the chair of Peter obtains the primacy of Peter over the whole church so that what the truth has ordained stands firm and bless Peter preserves in the rock-like strength he was granted and does not abandon the guidance of the church which he once received.
Now you notice the words that the first Vatican council here uses. I have the Latin and the English. And in both it states, blessed Peter, whoever succeeds the primacy of Peter and the chair of Peter preserves in the rocklike strength he was granted and does not abandon the guidance of the church which he once received. The key word here in both Latin and English is in the present. He does not. It doesn't say he did not. It is a guarantee that he will not. It is in the perpetual present. Whoever succeeds the chair of Peter obtains the primacy of Peter over the whole church and does not abandon the guidance of the church. That's very reassuring.
Now, what does this mean exactly? Does it mean that everything the pope thinks and says is in the name of the authority of Christ? No, it does not mean that. The first Vatican council is very clear on the extent of the power of the pope. He has authority, supreme, full and immediate authority like no other in the church like no other bishop who does not have the supreme full and immediate authority. Only the Roman pontiff does. But in matters related to morals and faith, church discipline and doctrine. Notice those four things. This is very important. He has a Christ's authority. He exercises Christ's authority when it comes to matters of faith and morals. And that's easy to understand. Morals is what you what is a good thing to do, what is a bad thing to do. The state doesn't teach morality. It teaches ethics. If the church teaches morality, which is good and which is good and bad, the state is supposed to teach ethics, which is right and wrong. So the pope has Christ's authority when he teaches in union with his brother bishops on matters pertaining to morals good and bad and faith that which Christ taught us divine revelation and church teaching that has been passed on to us through sacred tradition through magisterial teachings through scripture over the past 2,000 if not 6,000 years because the Old Testament goes all the way back. Okay. So that's two things right there that the pope possesses and in which he exercises Christ's authority, morals and faith. What about church discipline and governance? Well, governance is easy. He has the authority to appoint bishops, consecrate bishops, send them here, send them there, and appoint councils, dicasteries. That's governance. And what about discipline? Discipline is not doctrine. Discipline changes. Doctrine does not. Case in point, communion on the tongue, communion in the hand. girl altar service, boy altar service, eucharistic miners, no no eucharistic ministers, these things change. Celebrate priest, married priest. Throughout the history of the church, these things have changed and will continue to change according to the the culture in the times. I'm not saying they're all equally good. I'm just saying the church has the authority in particular the pope to regulate discipline. Okay, so those are the four things, the four areas of the papacy in which he the pope exercises Christ's authority.
Does this mean that if the pope speaks on a matter related to weather or sports or medicine or politics that he is right? No, it doesn't mean that popes have been wrong and probably will continue to be wrong in their personal opinions on matters pertaining to medicine, sports, weather, politics, uh whatever. If it's not related to those four issues, morals, faith, discipline, doctrine, and that doctrine and discipline is specifically with with respect to the church, then he's he's not speaking with Christ's authority. It's a matter of his personal opinion. Okay? And this is exemplified, right? When we we find it in the life of St. Pius, not saint yet, Pope Pius the 11th, the Fatima Pope, he had suspended St. Pio from celebrating mass for 10 years and hearing confession for 10 years from writing letters to spiritual children for 10 years until the church the Vatican had fully investigated the authenticity of a stigmata. So he was put on suspended leave so to speak. Now after those 10 years what did pope pas the 11th say after coming to the knowledge that the stigmata was authentic? He said publicly, "I was not badly disposed toward Pad Peio, but I was rather badly informed." This tells us the pope can be badly informed. But this had nothing to do with a matter of faith and moral teaching or church governance or da or discipline. Yes, the the pope in as much as he exercised the discipline of removing the the good monk Padre Peio's faculties was exercising church discipline and the pope has the authority to do that. But he never condemned Padre Peio. Okay. And the church has that authority to stop something until it fully investigates. So that there's no threat that if it is false, the faithful have been misled, spend lots of money, all to no avail. We know this from recent events that are pro promoted by bloggers on the internet promoting this false seer, that false seer. You know who they are, and so do I. There's no secret. And they continue to do this. And what happens? The lay people continue to be duped and they allow themselves to be duped. So it's the church's responsibility, the hierarch's responsibility, in particular the pope or the bishops to say, "Wait a minute, let's stop this until we investigate." So a statue was claimed to be weeping blood. And the church investigates and says, "Wait a minute. This is actually isn't true human blood. The source is not authentic or whatever the case may be." And it's for the good of the ley because the leoty are giving their own resources to support a cause that may not be of God. So what am I telling you here? Humility and love is missing from some of these people that do not wish to follow the divine chain of command that Christ put in place when he was on earth when he instituted the sacrament of holy orders.
>> And for the last clip in this compilation will be on the evil kingdom. Listen to this.
>> Revelation 12:3. A red dragon appears in the sky. This is Lucifer. Why the sky? Remember what Jesus said? I saw Satan fall like lightning from the sky. Now the question is, where did he land? Obviously, it was here on earth. Because we find him on roaming the earth in the book of Job. And the angel speaks to Satan and says, "What are you doing?" He says, "Oh, just roaming the earth, patrolling it, looking for someone." And St. Mark says, "Satan is like a roaring lion roaming the earth looking for someone to devour. Resist him solid in your faith." So, Satan was cast down from heaven to the earth. But remember, Satan is a spirit. He doesn't have a body. So, he can multilocate just like hauntings and houses. They're not confined to one place. Spirits can multilocate, good and bad spirits. And this red dragon, Lucifer, appears in the sky because he's in the act of falling. And he is known in scripture as Satan, the devil, the dragon, the ancient serpent, the adversary, and so forth. He is the evil spirit imbuing and empowering all of the pagan kingdoms known as the beast to wage war against Christ in his church. The seven heads are kingdoms, and the t horns are its kings that work under the diabolical authority of Satan.
And with respect to the last kingdom of which St. John writes and that has yet to come, it is argued that this kingdom is currently being formed today through the apostatized western allied nations that are presently pursuing the creation of what is referred to as a great reset to lead to a new world order, a one world government. And these expressions are used again by public figures in politics. So these are not conspiracies. These are facts. And this so-called new world order is under the rule of a tyrannical world global leadership and their adept. And this last kingdom of which St. John speaks is to wield power and influence far greater than its predecessors. For example, this is corroborated by the 4th century St. Ephraim. The 4th century St. Cell of Jerusalem and St. John Chrysstum and the fourth and fifth century St. Jerome who all of whom refer to a world government. Now that which distinguishes the late Roman Empire from its future revival under a new world order is it having for the first time established dominion upon the entire earth even to its ends. How? Through technology. Through technology. Technology in itself is not evil. But Satan will avail himself of it to try to convince the masses of a great diabolical lie that has been preserved for these end times and that will emerge soon. And that lie is that God did not create us, but other beings did from other worldly areas. And St. John affirms that this last kingdom and its adeps will not will only for a short period of time succeed in imposing the penalty of death on those who refuse its mark thereby changing its so-called acts of government into acts of war and terror on all Christians.
Now the original word in Greek for mark John speaks of a mark is karakma. Karakma which does not mean mark at all but more forcefully a strike that leaves an impression like a brand in a cow for example. It's a brand within the flesh. And this luciferian mark that John speaks of may be impressed within the flesh of the right hand or forehead as a public declaration and will demand of those civilians who receive it. Customary public acts of worship. Acts of public worship will be directed toward an image that will be erected in honor of the one conglomerate beast. St. John talks about this. And according to St. John, Satan will empower this image to come to life as it were. Now it won't have a literal life like we do, a conscience, a rationality of it. No. But aided by technology, artificial intelligence for example, this is very plausible with not without the diabolical mechanizations of course in addition to technology. But in these short but dark days ahead, there will be little wiggle room for pussell individuals who expect to receive this luciferian mark solely to obtain material goods to survive. Why the one who receives the mark St. John reveals this mark of the beast he calls it have consented to idolatry idolatry and henceforth are targeted by God's angels for the day of the Lord the day of wrath that will manifest itself quickly and with great violence. The book of Revelation reveals their fate. Chapter 16:2 states, "The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth. festering and ugly soarses broke out on those who had the mark of the beast or worshiped his image."
Now, those who have refused this mark, whatever it is, will be put to the test, but divine assistance will give them strength. This anti-Christian world government will force them if they wish to worship openly into hiding where they will pray and receive their sacraments from bishops, priests, clandestinely or in cynicles and God's angels will seal them on the forehead to protect them from his wrath. This is found in Revelation 7:4 and 14:1. A spiritual divine seal will be imprinted on their foreheads. The foreheads of those that refuse the mark of the beasts to guard them, guard them and equip them to endure the seven trumpets.
This last kingdom of which I'm addressing will espouse a communist ideology to further Satan's plan to destroy God's church and stifle all prompings of the Holy Spirit in the souls of his children. This last kingdom will assuage humanity's desire for religion by delivering to the masses as opium and idol. A god false god that appeals to all religions by the working of diabolical wonders aided by technology. This final kingdom will mesmerize the masses and win over many. Essent John says if it were possible even the elect would be deceived. We will know that this kingdom is of Satan. Why? because of its characteristics which are number one removing the perpetual sacrifice of which Daniel and John spoke the eucharist will be halted at least in public for several years now there there's a period of seven years mentioned in the book of revelation as a period of tribulation and the end part of it the last three and a half years is the worst and that's when the eucharist will be abolished and the public exercise of the papacy will be suppressed the papacy will always exist even underground as it has at the time of the catacombs when the Christians were being martyed. But it won't be permitted in public. Satan wants all authority and he will stop at nothing until he gets it. But God has foreseen that even though Satan will have his hour, God will have his day. There can be no resurrection without a crucifixion. There can be no Easter without a Good Friday. There can be no reign of God's will on earth without Satan having his will reign on earth. And we are living in those times. And the third characteristic of this evil conglomerate kingdom is it will replace with a false substitute religion. This man of iniquity of which St. Paul speaks of in his second letter to the Thessalonians. The abomination of desolation, the man of lawlessness. He hort is a third person singular word in Greek meaning he will sit himself this is a male individual often referred to as the antichrist by the church fathers will sit himself in the throne of god and declare himself god this is not the throne of the vatican no this is a counterfeit church it will most likely be a prominent parliament place and he will proclaim himself god this tyrannical rule imposed by this last kingdom will deny the resurrection and the divinity of Jesus Christ. So there are five characteristics right there. The removal of the Eucharist of the public exercise of the papacy even though the papacy will continue to exist. God will never leave his flock untended but it will be under persecution. There will be this false iniquitous anti-Christian human male that will declare himself God. There will be who will deny the resurrection and the divinity of Christ. And six, the sixth characteristic, this kingdom and its anti-Christian male individual leader will change the church's sacred tradition. He won't change the church. No, but he will create a counterfeit black church of which St. Katherine, blessed and Katherine Emer speaks. And this black, she calls it a black counterfeit church, meaning dark, evil, sinister, won't have anything to do with the Catholic Church because he will crunch, he will suppress the Catholic Church. One of the mistakes those who are not conversing in sacred scripture often make is that when they read the book of Revelation, they apply it to the Vatican, they apply it to Rome. And this is wrong. They're completely off the mark. Satan wants nothing to do with the Vatican or Rome. He wants world dominion. And he wants all authority, even papal authority, which he cannot possess. But he wants authority over the moral consciousness of humans. This is part of the communist ideology. There's no freedom of religion, no freedom of consciousness. You can't speak freely. You can't worship freely. The devil wants to control everything aided by technology. But God won't allow it. He will allow him to have his hour for a little while to test us. And we deserve the testing because of our iniquities. But that will yield a great fruit for those who withhold their patience and withstand the evil. So this tyrannical last kingdom will deny freedom of religion, freedom of conscience, freedom of speech. And those who refuse to serve this anti-Christian world order, last kingdom, seventh kingdom will be unable to buy or sell anything. Meaning technology will prohibit them from doing so. St. And John reveals this when he speaks of a the beasts forced all people small and great, rich and poor, free and slave to be given a stamped image on their right hand or their foreheads so that no one could buy or sell anything except the one who had the stamped image of the beast's name and the number that stood for its name. And that number you know literally the name Caesar comes out to numerically in Hebrew Hebrew numerical value 666 is again not to be taken as a literal number but a numerical value number that comes from the name Caesar meaning emperor. That's what 666 means. An evil world emperor in charge of an evil evil world empire or kingdom. And in so far as this last kingdom is in intimately linked to the society the dark societies that are festering in the world today which eight popes have condemned. They represent in modern times the various lodges that seek to undermine God's grace which is communicated by means of the seven sacraments.
So this last kingdom's aim is not to deny God like the old communist, the communist movement that was crushed in officially in 1991 when Russia's doors opened up. Now the church has a function that educates us and keeps us on the straight and narrow and that function is known as the magisterium. And the magisterium extends to certain prophetic revelations what's called a seal of approval whether it's in the form of the imprest and when an impre is given to a work is a guarantee that it may be printed and displayed and sold in churches and nothing is in there contrary to faith and morals. Why do I mention this? Because the late priest my my good friend I met him and was at mass with him and he passed away several years ago. Father Stephanogi from Italy, Northern Italy. He received revelations from Mary that have received the church's official seals of approval, the impromat. Now, some people are colored in their discernment to father Gobi because of the year 2000 where there was a messages saying the great by the end of the great jubilee that will come to fulfillment everything that was stated at Fatima, etc. And when it didn't happen, they said, "Oh, he was wrong." Well, that's not exactly what he meant. Again, it's a how you interpret the message just like scripture has to be interpreted in the right way. What happened is that by the great jubilee of which St. Pope John Paul II wrote over and over again in his encyclical and in his apostolic letters when he spoke of a third millennium of unifications, the threshold of the third millennium. He said Pope John Paul II who's now a saint and called the great that that's when the beginning of the end begins. meaning the birth panks. That's what father go is referring to. Victory is already here in potentiality. It's already begun. In actuality, the beginning starts with labor pains. The beginning of birth starts with labor pains in a sinful body conceived in sin. And that is what the church is. And these seven heads of which St. John speaks in his book of revelation. and father will go addresses and he talks of them as being I'm also lodges that seek to undermine God's grace that's communicated through the sacraments and unlike communism that denied God these secret societies blaspheme him they don't deny him and Satan avails himself of these tyrannical leaders and adepts of this seventh bad kingdom to govern the world by means of 10 horns and the horn in biblical iterations is an instrument of amplification, a way of generating news of propaganda. And the diadems on these horns represent signs of dominion and royalty to those who bend to the evil principles of this evil society and its rules, denying Christ's divinity, resurrection, suppressing the Eucharist, the exercise of the public pacy, and contradicting God's traditions and so forth. And it is important to note that if in these end times aversive force in high positions of secular authority impose ungodly laws under Satan's authority, God does not leave his flock untended. He opposes the authority of Satan and his adepts with his own divine authority through his prophets. Every generation is given a prophet since the time of Adam. There's never been a generation without one. Unfortunately, the church is lagging here. If you study theology, there is no branch or discipline on prophecy. Why is that? When prophecy is one of the most important functions in the entire church, St. Paul lists prophecy as the second most important function in the church. And there in theology, there's no discipline on studying prophecy. Thanks to Melano, a Spanish Dominican who said all prophecy ended with Christ. And this is wrong. Even Cardinal Ratzinger said it was a wrong teaching. But unfortunately it crept in a lot of Catholic schools, seminaries, nvicishit houses and seminarians are taught that we don't need to know anything about prophecy because it ended with Christ and this is false. But God's divine authority is always extended to us through the prophets. God doesn't do anything without the prophet. Fina was a prophet. Margaret Mary was a prophet. The blessed mother is the is the second of greatest prophet after Christ who appears and is appearing throughout the world today. Without prophecy there's no church. Why do you think Elijah appeared beside Christ along with Moses at the moment of transfiguration to make a statement? He represents prophecy and Moses represents the law. This apparition of Christ between Moses and Elijah was a statement that the church will never be without the law in the prophet. And St. Paul tells us why God is allowing this general confusion in these end times. Why God is permitting it for a greater good? For those who love him, that is those who hate him, it doesn't turn out to be a greater good, now does it? They end up in eternal hell. Paul states that where sin abounds, grace abounds all the more in Romans 5:20. Where sin abounds and boy does it abound today. Grace abounds all the more at the same time. And this is how Father Goi's statement is to be interpreted that by the end of the Jubilee year, the fulfillment is present. Because while sin is abounding, grace is abounding at the same time. It's not like there's sin and then grace follows. No, grace happens conccomatantly with sin. Certainly, it intensifies when Satan is thrown into the pit for a thousand years, that symbolic long period of time that John speaks about in the book of Revelation. And two recent pontiffs, saints, Pope John Paul the 23rd, sorry. John the 23rd and John Paul II spoke of this outpouring of the Holy Spirit in these end times. This new Pentecost as early as the 60s. This was being mentioned by the Pope. St. Pope John the 23rd proclaimed this truth vigorously in his introductory remark at the second Vatican Council when he stated, "The church needs a new Pentecost." In all Catholic churches throughout the world, these words were prayed in preparation for the Second Vatican Council, renew your wonders in our midst as in a new Pentecost. quot and Pope John Paul II proclaimed to Latin America in 1992, "Welcome the spirit so that a new Pentecost may take place in every community." 1992. And this outpouring of the third person of the Trinity is abundantly evident in the church approved writings of scores of contemporary prophets who emphasizes how God permits Satan to have his hour in order to prepare the world for the day of the Lord and a universal era of peace. a universal era of peace. Our lady spoke of this at Fatima also. She said many nations will be destroyed but in the end I will give the world an era of peace and my immaculate heart will triumph. This is the reign of God's will on earth. It's the reward for those who hold fast to the traditions of the church to sacred scripture to the magisterium. As God the father allowed Satan to test his son in the desert, so he permits Satan to test the loyalty of his children. He does this to increase their merit and bestow upon them the enthralments of eternal beatitude.
