As my grandfather always said, the pancreas is the organ of longevity.

Five killers of the pancreas. What is unique about the pancreas? The pancreas is the conductor of the digestive system, participates in all stages of food digestion, and this organ itself is very delicate and very lazy, so it cannot be forced to work. That is, any meal loads the pancreas.

Next, I will tell you five habits that kill the pancreas.

The first habit is uneven nutrition. When a person eats haphazardly—he eats once a day, maybe he eats several times a day—but he does not have a diet. With such nutrition, the body does not understand when it needs to work and is always in a state of tension. And this tension most affects the function of the pancreas.

The second is after consuming fatty foods, when we wash it down with a cold drink. This kills the pancreas. Why does a cold drink block the release of bile and digest food without the pancreas?

Third, constant consumption of fried fatty foods. It is fried in sunflower oil that kills the pancreas because such products cause inflammatory processes in the gallbladder, and bile, in turn, begins to negatively affect the pancreas.

Fourth, constant snacking—a bad habit is always something alive. With such a diet, we force the pancreas to work non-stop, and this is very harmful for it.

Fifth, excessive consumption of foods with a high glycemic index. These include banana, watermelon, white bread, and many other foods that you can find on the Internet.

Why are foods with a high glycemic index harmful? They cause the pancreas to produce a lot of insulin. And when there is a lot of insulin in the body, a lot of mucus accumulates. Mucus disrupts metabolic processes. This can lead to insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes.
