In this video, we're going to talk about prompting. We're going to talk about good prompts so that you can get more of what it is that you want. We're going to talk about bad prompting so that you can make sure to avoid things that you don't want. And we're going to talk about some prompting guidelines to ensure that you have the best possible experience with Clip Anything.
First, let's talk about what prompting is. A prompt is a text or a phrase that the Clip Anything AI interprets to clip your video. You can type your prompt to find a scene, action, character, event, emotional moment, social worthy topic, and more. A well-crafted prompt can help the AI find exact moments you want from your original video.
You can use prompts to find a moment or scene in your content. For example, you can ask it to find the moments most likely to go viral on social media. You can ask it to show you the moments with strong opinions or words. It's so detailed that if you made the content, you could even ask it to find the most hilarious part of Snoop Dogg narrating the Animal Planet.
You can also use Clip Anything prompts to to action. For example, show me the part where I'm unboxing a tech gadget and explaining its features. Or, if you were a logger, you could say, show me the part where we're driving through the mountains.
You can also use it to find emotions. For example, find all of the laughing scenes, or find the moments where the two actors argue and one of them cries. You can use your prompts to find a character. For example, find Spider-Man, or find where we were dressed as Freddy Krueger for Halloween. You can use your Clip Anything prompts to create compilation videos. For example, find all of the headshots in this game. And really, any way that you might search for something is how you can find the right moments in your project.
Now, with that said, there there are some things that the Clip Anything AI can't do, so you want to make sure that you don't want to use prompts for these types of things. First is editing the visual or audio aspects of the video. For example, you don't want to ask it to remove flickering, or to adjust your audio in any way, or even to change the aspect ratio of your clip. Instead, for those types of things, you want to do those inside of your brand template or in the editing page after the clip has been generated.
When prompting, you also don't want to instruct it to adjust clip length. For example, separating videos from 30 seconds to 1 minute with subtitles, or turn this into a 10-minute video. Instead, you want to do those sorts of things in the submission box before you submit your video to be clipped.
Another example of prompts you want to avoid is asking it to add cinematic effects to your video. For example, adding a fade transition at the end of the clip, or adding a lens flare effect at the beginning of the clip.
Now, let's talk about prompting guidelines. You want to make sure that you're using clear wording. You want to try to be clear about any context or details that are important to you. You want to think about the subject, the person, the animal, the character, the location, or even an object.
You can give it visual cues. For example, the woman in the yellow dress. You can give it action cues, like show me the parts where I'm taking the products out of the box. You can use sentiment: find the parts where we're laughing, find the parts where we're crying, find the sad parts, find the surprising parts. And even sound. You can ask Clip Anything to find an audience cheering, a door opening, a dog barking, a vehicle horn. Really, anything that you would clearly notice in the content as a human viewer, you can use that in your your prompts to help Clip Anything's AI find exactly what it is that you're looking for.
You also don't want to use descriptions that are too vague, because if you just use one-word descriptions, it doesn't really give the system much context. So, because of that, make sure that you do include information so that it will help the AI find exactly what you need. Happy clipping!
