There we go. So, in synistry, it's important to understand planet-to-planet contacts because that's a big part of what it's all about. This is the actions that we will take are the planets, and the, um, contacts between those planets is going to determine what kind of conversation, what kind of relationship exists between those two factors and our personality, those two actions.
So, when we're looking at some aspects, and we're just going to dive right into things because we have a lot to cover in a very condensed course, and do not be surprised if I add classes because I am famous for it. I think that I'm going to get through things, and I'm going to be able to, you know, pack it in, and then I just start adding more detail, and we're off to the races. So, probably be needing for more than what is originally scheduled.
So, when we're talking about the Sun, this is the action that two people will take. This is the way that the two people will find validation, that, uh, how we will express our essential personal creativity. So, the Sun is a lot of our personal expression, um, when it comes to me, you know, what do we want to be appreciated for? A lot of the actions that we'll take when it comes to looking for a reaction that is favorable, something that upholds our self-esteem. Confidence is a big part of the Sun.
So, when we have good, ah, Frankie, it's good to see you. I'm glad you're here. It'll be fun. So, when we have, um, contacts between Sun and planets, it's quite consequential in synistry. The Sun is a big part of our character, a big part of our life experience. So, let's look at Sun to Sun, and we're going to try to get through all the Sun-planet, uh, contacts, and maybe we'll get to the Moon too. I hope that we do. We will see.
So, Sun to Sun contacts are very important. All the contacts between Sun and Sun, Moon and Moon, Sun and Moon are very important in synistry. And in the last class, we talked about how the, uh, the Sun and the Moon in any aspect to any angle of the chart is extremely important. It's one of the fundamental things to look at first. So, um, that's, you know, one of the basics. Do we have any aspect at all, easy, hard, doesn't matter, from the Sun or the Moon to any angle? That's the Ascendant, the Descendant, the Midheaven, the IC. We want to evaluate that. Then we're going to look at, do we have Sun to Sun contact, Sun to Moon contacts, Moon to Moon contacts? Because that's another big deal when it comes to having a personal effect on each other, personal involvement, being personally pulled into each other, because the Sun and the Moon are our two most personal astrological factors.
Celia, yeah, um, in your video about Sun opposite Moon, you were saying that like a lot depends on the sign, signs involved. And what if, say, you had like a double whammy with Virgo Sun, Taurus Moon, and Scorpio Sun, Pisces Moon? Hmm. So, Virgo Sun, Pisces Moon, and the other one, this Moon, so like a double Earth and a double Water, Scorpio Sun, Pisces Moon, right? Well, you're going to have a similar effect on each other. It's going to be a lot of the same kind of similar experience that you would describe. That can actually be very, uh, balancing. When we have the opposition between the Sun and the Moon, it tends to bring a sense of wholeness or a sense of, uh, completeness that is there. So, um, I'll address that more when we get to that part of the lesson. Let's kind of keep that on the back burner there, and then I'll bring that back up.
Tosca, um, hi. Yeah, can I just clarify, um, you know, when you said with the Sun or the Moon to any angle of the other person, that is most important for compatibility, right? Not attraction. It's no, it does go to attraction because it's, well, maybe not necessarily sexual attraction, but it's how we are personally pulled into each other. We have a personal stake in the other person, right? Right. So, it's a, it's a big thing to evaluate, really, in any relationship. If we're looking for, um, investment in each other, that's what it will bring. And it doesn't matter. So, um, are there angles that are more important than other angles, or any angle is equally important? I think they're all important. The Ascendant, the Descendant, and the IC are probably the most consequential, but the Midheaven also has a big role to play. Okay. So, yeah, the angles are always important. And Celia, I'll see if I can get, um, if I can work that question in when I get to the Sun of an opposition.
So, um, Sun to Sun contacts are, they're a good thing to have, um, particularly if we have the easy aspects between Suns or Suns in sextile signs, trine signs, conjunct signs, signs of harmony. Even if we don't have an aspect, because signs are going to be styles. If we have an aspect, and the closer the aspect, the more acute the relationship is going to be between the two things. But just by sign itself, we're still going to have things going on.
So, um, Suns in conjunction with each other, very, very good. Will pursue our vitality, our, our ego, how we want to feel good about ourselves, the same. And the way that we'll stroke each other is very, very similar. There's a lot of essential harmony with Suns together. There isn't a great deal of, uh, a challenge when it comes to learning or growth. Sons that are conjunct can get a little bit stale in that sense. But I don't think that anybody would complain about having Suns conjunct in themselves.
If they are square or the cisco quadrant, semi-squared, this is where we can have friction. Uh, we can feel that the other person is challenging us, and we can react negatively to that. But it still will be a very creative, it will be a growth-inspiring interaction. And any aspect between Suns and Suns or Moons are, are going to be better than no aspect, whether it's good, whether it's bad. Okay.
And, yeah, I just wanted you to, you said those, you said the harsh aspects very quickly there, and there's a couple of them there. I know the square, obviously, uh, but just if you can name the other ones a bit more slowly again, so I can jot them down. Ah, the 45 degrees, semi-square. So, there's this, the square, this semi-square, and what was the other one? The susque quadrant. Then you could just write that down as scsq. That's the susquehanna quadrant, or a cess liquid rate, it depends on how you say it. That's 135 degree angle. Okay. So, those are all considered challenging relationships between planets. The semi-square, what angle is that? 45 degree angle. Oh, okay. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Okay. And then the inconjunct is also the engine. That is also a difficult aspect. Okay. Absolutely. That's the 150 degree aspect.
So, uh, the inconjunct is interesting because we don't, it's, it's not about friction. It's about not getting each other. It's more like, I just don't get what planet you're from. There's not a connection there. So, it's not that they abjectly irritate us like the hard aspects, but, um, we are by learning about each other, and people are drawn to each other. The inconjunct is so weird in synistry. You would think that it would not work, and it does needle us over the course of time, but it is attractive in the beginning. People are drawn to each other. It's like, oh, I don't know what's going on over there. Let me find out. So, we, we're drawn to the difference. But over the course of time, we do start to focus on the difference, and then it becomes annoying, and then we have to work with it. We have to learn how to really come out of our comfort zone and understand this kind of alien way of being that the other person has and learn to get along. So, yeah, inconjunct Suns are not uncommon in synistry. Would think that they would be, but they're not.
Uh, the opposition between, sorry, sorry, sorry, June. I just want to ask you quickly, the semi-square and the cess quadrant, um, what, what kind of effect would they have? For example, for two, same thing as the square? The semi-square is a little bit more muted. It's not as overtly annoying as the square. Cisco quadrant is very similar. Um, they all act like, um, abrasive factors. Square, semi-square, cisquick, draw. There's an abrasion that comes with those. So, uh, look at it like a Brillo pad. When you, when you think of those, uh, they all act the same. But the square itself is, it's just more noticeable than the other two. But that doesn't mean that the other two are better. Because look at it like if you have a rock in your shoe, it's going to be a bit of a smaller rock with a, a semi-square or a cisquick order. But with a square, it's going to be like a bigger, pokier rock. So, we're more likely to do something about it with a bigger, pokier rock. With the littler rock, we're more likely to live with it, to let it go on, to let it persist until we finally reach down and pull it out. So, they aren't necessarily better. They can actually be more chronic in nature because they're not as big a flashing red light on the dashboard of our life that's saying, fix me, fix me, fix me. So, they aren't necessarily better than minor hard aspects. They're trickier, in a sense, you could say.
Um, with the opposition, there is a challenge to the ego and to the confidence, and some people really don't like each other with the opposition. But they are strangely attracted to each other, nonetheless. So, it's a very odd thing. Some people really do feel that there's a good amount of balance to their relationship. Um, it seems that more typically, we have a clash of egos or a clash of confidence that can happen there. But oppositions, if we are focusing on, um, what is balancing rather than what is different, it can really, really work. So, um, the, the opposition actually isn't as common as the hard, of the harder aspects, especially the inconjunct. I don't see the opposition as often. It's not unheard of. I do see it, but, um, yeah, sometimes they even see it to the degree, which is an interesting thing. My daughter actually had the opposition with another girl to the degree that was a weird, weird, weird relationship that developed between those two. Lots of, I don't know, attraction and animosity at the same time. Very, very interesting to observe.
Um, so, it's very important to assess the Sun aspects to planets because we're looking at a clash of confidence or support of confidence, or someone making us feel like, you know, we have to pay to be ourselves. It's, that is no fun. We want, ideally, compatibility of confidence and energy and vitality and self-expression. But again, any aspect between the Suns is better than no aspect because that will just bring that automatic more personal involvement.
Sun to Moon, extremely consequential in relationships. When we have the conjunction, it's your classic, "You complete me" thing. We do feel that, uh, we are more, I, I, that there's sort of a familiar fit, that what we're missing, the other person seems to bring to the table. So, we can act very much as a team or as a, a complete unit when we have that conjunction there. And it does tend to bring a sense of getting a lot of rewards out of the interaction. For whatever else isn't working, there is an essential feeling of very compatible connection. And that, um, is most so with the, the conjunction. But with all of the easy aspects, we're going to experience that. We're going to experience that feeling of having our needs and our wants and our inner and our outer very, very much in tune. It makes it easy to get along.
The hard aspects between the Sun and the Moon are still going to be very attractive. They aren't inherently harmonious, but we are learning how to, uh, how to relate to each other as a team, how to balance our ones and our needs against each other. It will inspire quite a lot of growth and insight, the hard aspects between the Sun and the Moon. And they are common. And in conjunction between the Sun and the Moon, you would think that you wouldn't see it, but you do. It's, um, it's something that isn't always completely successful in the long run, but it is common.
Kate, yeah, I just wanted to ask you about the conjunction. Um, I mean, obviously, up to, for, for two luminaries, you're talking about a conjunction of like 10 or maybe up to 12. But at what point does it become, do you say, do you know what, that's a quite a wide one? You mean, I mean, if it's like, uh, if it's like, say, um, nine degrees, do you think, yeah, there's compatibility, but it's not going to be that strong? Oh, no, that's still there. It's still there. Even Sun and Moon in the same sign, we're going to get the same effect. The closer it is, the more acute it is, the more of, you know, of a weight it has in the relationship. Um, but even just being the same sign is fabulous. And that'll, that'll bring that, that feeling of acting in a way that is friction-free when it comes to the feelings and the behaviors of the two people. So, very, very good. And even if they're just in sextile signs, you're trying signs, same kind of effortless stuff. So, yeah, they're just the kind of the holy grail to have those really good aspects between the Sun and the Moon. And even the difficult ones are, you know, better than no aspect.
Sun of the Moon in opposition is a classic male-female relationship. So, it does tend to bring the extremes of the theme, the, the male or the female out of us. It depends, actually, on who is the Sun and who is the Moon. Because if the man is the Moon, then it can bring more of the, whatever, you know, classically female characteristics exist within him, it's going to bring those out more to an extreme. So, if it's the man who's the Sun and the woman who's the Moon, we just fall into this really effortless, you know, I go to work, you do the cooking, I'm the man, you're the woman. It's just, it really polarizes those roles into more of an extreme of, uh, male and female. And even if we have like, um, you know, I've seen cases where we had, like, a really masculine lesbian who was the Moon person, and it brought out the feminine characteristics within her, and she was actually really surprised by that, that she kind of just fell into that role, and that was not necessarily the role she had played in the past. So, it really does polarize our behavior in that sense. Um, and if it's a double whammy, then it would be more equal? Yes, absolutely. I'm glad you reminded me, Celia. Um, yeah, you're both going to have that same experience of each other, of having that, um, just kind of falling into that male-female pattern, uh, depending on, you know, who is the, you know, if the male is the Sun or the Moon. Um, but that, uh, would be something that would cover a multitude of sins, having that kind of connection. That would be a really good thing in itself. And the same thing goes with the conjunction, because I've had both, like the, the mirror signs of like, um, I, I was with a Pisces with his Moon in Scorpio, and then I, I'm a Scorpio with my Moon in Pisces. So, that was interesting. And then this other person was like, the double whammy opposition. Yeah, the double whammy on the opposition. That seems pretty great. This was pretty great. Um, and you would have to look at everything, but I mean, just that in itself would be a good thing. But no, I, I don't know which is better, the conjunction or the opposition. They both bring really, really good things. The opposition is, is a very satisfying thing to have, and it's, it's very, uh, natural to live together, to have a domestic relationship. And it, there is just a harmony that really does come with it, which is interesting because the Sun and the Moon are actually semi-sextile to each other on the wheel. Yeah, but they function extremely well in an opposition. I actually have an aspects course that's going on right now. We were just talking about that's kind of an odd thing with their relationship. So, yeah, Sun-Moon, uh, aspects are really good to have.
Moon-Moon, let's talk about that. We talked about this briefly in the, the first lesson. We'll touch on this again. So, Moon-Moon, this is our needs, and how our needs function, how our need to belong, to feel that we're drawn in intimacy. So, when we have Moons in compatible signs or compatible aspects, semi-sextile signs, semi-sex aspects, trine signs, trine aspects, uh, conjunction, obviously, even the quintile functions very well. The novel functions very, very well, effortlessly. It's easy to feel that we get each other's moods when we have those harmonious connections. But we're on the same page when it comes to understanding the other person's needs and their comfort zone. If we have the difficult aspects, or Moons are so difficult aspects are semi-square, cisco quadrant, square, sometimes the opposition. If we have the more difficult aspects, we don't understand each other's comfort zone. We come from very different backgrounds. We don't understand what the other person's needs are. So, we have to tell each other. And you cannot listen through the lens of your own needs, or you won't get it. You have to listen very closely to what the other person says. And then we have to learn to respond to the other person in a way that makes sense to them. So, we've got to learn to, to draw the person into the relationship. We have to get down onto their level and really talk to them and regard them in a way that makes sense to them. That's easy to do when we have Moons in compatible signs or compatible aspects. So, yes, Celia, we have to learn to speak the other person's love language because it's a foreign language to us. And when we're learning a language, we have to practice it. And we're going to practice it badly at first. And we have to make sure to reward each other for what they are doing right, or else we're likely to give up and say, well, you know, I did everything that you said you wanted, and you know, you're still complaining. We really have to look past what if they aren't doing correctly and reward what they are. And we're training each other as we go along when it comes to how to make the other person feel like they're connected.
Okay. And you, you said one aspect there that I, it's the nonno, something heard of that one. The naval. The 40 degrees. Oh, 40. It's a very minor angle. You probably haven't heard of it. But I know I haven't. It's the novel. The non-violence. And is that, is that, that's an easy aspect? Yes. Okay. Sorry. Mm-hmm. Is it true that, um, Moons in opposition are almost the worst thing to have in synistry? No, some people like it. Some people don't. Again, it, it's oppositions are an extreme thing. If we're focusing on how the other person's different, diametrically different mood is balancing to ours, it can actually work very well. If we're focusing on how it's different, it will not work, and we'll not like each other very much. So, we have opposite Moons. One of us likes to get up at 6:00 PM. One of us likes to get up at 6:00 AM. So, one of us likes to eat at noon. One of us likes to eat at midnight. We have these very opposing needs or times, moods. And if we're focusing on how it's different, we're not going to like each other. But if we can focus on, hey, you know what? It works for me that, you know, I get up at six, and then they get up at six, because I have all this time to work. I can shop, I can clean house. Like, if we're looking at what actually really does work for us, then, um, is that something, um, oh, sorry, no, go ahead. Um, I was just wondering, is that something, um, that you can tell, um, by looking at someone's natal chart if they are able to, um, handle that, or is it just a case of maturity? Oh, yeah, I think maturity is going to be needed, no matter who you are. Um, but yeah, you can look at the natal chart and see who's more likely to be impatient and who is more likely to, uh, extend themselves and have some understanding. And you would want to look at the signs too, because signs can make a difference. Say, um, you know, an Aries Moon is not always as forgiving as the Libra. So, um, you know, if you, for example, had a Moon in Pisces, I mean, um, I suppose that would show that you're more likely to extend yourself. But, um, but wouldn't a Moon in Pisces, wouldn't their kind of, um, you know, feelings be more sensitive in a Moon connection? Wouldn't they find it more important to have like a, a compatible Moon? Well, I think that that would be, uh, a need that we all have is for compatibility. But with the opposition, what we're getting is balance, right? Not necessarily the same. Yeah, but it is often what we need, but it's not the need that we would shop for. So, it's like, we would rather eat Twinkies, but we know that we should have salad. So, sometimes we choose the salad, and that would be the opposition, just kind of realizing, well, you know, it's not always, you know, what I choose in the moment, but they really are good for me in a lot of ways.
Lulu, you have a question. Yes, hello. Um, so I was wondering, and do you believe like in deal breakers? Like, for example, when you look at the synastry chart at first sight, and there's like a combination of aspects, a hard aspect, or maybe unexpected planets, and like you just see at that synastry and you go like, oh, this is not going to work like in the long run, or you don't like to see things like that as deal breakers? Well, I, I, what I do in a session when I'm talking with the client is I tell them what I see. Um, I don't necessarily tell them what to do. I show them what there is, and then I let them make the choice. So, I will talk about how difficult or how hot, you know, or how easy something is going to be. But I think that people, if they're drawn to something, if they are really attracted to something, um, I think oftentimes we need to, we need to listen to that. We need to follow that. And we often need to, uh, to follow through with that. So, there are, yeah, there's something to be said for knowing what's there and then, um, you know, choosing to, to try it on and see, you know, how does it work for you? For some people, they can handle a lot more friction than other people. So, if it's something that is such a compelling relationship, but yet it really does look like there's quite a lot of difficulty or friction or lessons contained in it, I think the people, people should still try it on. I think that they should, they should see what's, yeah, I don't think that astrology should limit us, but it does give us a really good warning about what's to come and what we can do about it. Exactly. That was my mom about, because I agreed for myself. If I was looking at myself, then I would, I would see certain things as deal breakers myself. Yeah, that's my personal, my personal view. But no, I saw a composite chart once where there was a Mars square Pluto, and I was like, I'm not picking that up. I just, I don't have enough light. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Because I do know some aspects are very harsh. But in composite, are they even more of deal breakers than in synastry? Oh, yes. Yeah. Composite is the big daddy when it comes to compatibility. So, the composite chart is more describing what two people would complain about when they show up into the marriage counselor's office. Okay. Right. So, Mars square Pluto, one of the deal breakers will be like some really hard aspect, right? Well, I, for me, I would say, but, um, I, I think that that there's some other people who can, uh, who can negotiate difficult things better than others, right? Yeah. So, but it goes back to the, I'll tell you what I personally think. I wouldn't personally tell a client to do this, but I'll tell you what I personally think. The big one is Mars square Pluto. Yeah. Venus square Pluto, and Moon square Pluto. And no, don't like it. Sun square Pluto. Those are all very hard, including the opposition between all of those things. They are all very difficult. And you would have to look at that in relationship to what else is going on. If there's a ton of really easy, harmonious stuff going on, um, then that can be a lot of content that is, I want to say, is a really good base for everything that's going on. Um, and that can get more likely that things could work out. But I think the hard aspects to Mars, the hard aspects to Pluto from the personal planets, in my opinion, are something to really, uh, consider carefully, but not necessarily to just rule out entirely. And that's for composite, or no? No, I understand synastry and composite. Okay. Especially composite. Especially composite. Absolutely. Okay. Thank you. You're welcome.
Lulu, logical mermaid has a question. I love that name. Thank you. Um, so I actually joined the chat a bit late. Um, I'm glad you made it in. Did you send me an email? Um, I received the, the email link. Yes. Okay. Good, good. So, yes, I, I had a somewhat specific question, um, related to the North Node in synastry. And, um, I actually, uh, do parent-child synastry a lot. Not so much dealing with bickering, you know, husband and wives and things like that, but more so parent-child. And I've actually come across a couple of charts recently that have North Nodes in synastry between, um, uh, the, the mother and the child. And so I wanted to get your professional opinion on, um, on that aspect and, um, kind of what you think about that. So, the North Node is conjunct to what? Their North Node? Uh, meaning orthogonal together? Yeah. Oh, okay. Well, that's good in any relationship. Yes, definitely. That'll karma show that the, the karma and the dharma are very, very similar. So, what the, the experiences that we're just intrinsically drawn to in this, this lifetime will be very much on the same path and drawn to the same kind of growth experiences. So, I think it's wonderful. So, uh, so in, in partnerships, though, would you, would you say that goal, would it be more so, like the soul's direction and go more goal-oriented for both partners? Like, both persons, like, is there, could you see like a conflict of one person's, wanting to have their soul growth in this area, and another person wanted to do something similar, but them not like, where would you kind of take that? Not with the conjunction. There's no con. Okay. Okay. Perfect. Perfect. They want the same things. Perfect. Thank you. You're welcome.
So, um, so that's the story of the Moon. Is that, uh, is that clear? Moon aspects between Moon? Did we talk enough about the opposition? Was that clear how it's annoying but it can be balancing? Celia, did you understand that part? Yeah. Okay. All right. So, let's talk about, um, oh, wait. Yeah, that was Moon to Moon, and we're talking about Sun. So, let's get back on track here. So, that's the big ones that actually are the most consequential in synastry is Sun to Sun, Moon to Moon, Sun to Sun to me. So, we can leave that one out when we talk about Moon. All right.
So, Sun to Mercury, not a, a huge player in incompatibility. Easy aspects from Sun to Mercury in synastry are going to make it easy to function on a daily basis together. Who the Sun person is and how the Mercury person orders their daily life with the easy aspects with the Sun and Mercury in compatible signs, no problem there. This is a very subtle relationship between planets, Sun and Mercury. And the difficult aspects between Sun and Mercury aren't terribly consequential. They will show up and differences when it comes to, you know, how the Sun person wants to be seen and appreciated, and how the Mercury person orders their life and goes about their health, and, you know, what they think is is most appropriate. So, I knew a couple that, um, had the square between Sun and Mercury, and she was the Virgo Mercury, so she was this fastidious neat freak. And he was a veterinarian. So, when he would come home, she would like have him undressed before he got too much into the house because he would be covered with hairs, he would smell of animals. So, he always felt that there was like this, uh, you know, what he loved to do, a lot of his, his chosen profession's personal expression, that was just something that was kind of irritating to her. And it isn't something that will keep us really from being happy, but it is just kind of an annoying thing when we have the, the hard aspects. But they're not extremely loud. It's not a, is not a deal breaker.
The opposition between Sun and Mercury is not actually that noticeable. It can be pretty balancing in itself.
Kate, that's what I was just going to ask you about was the opposition. Yeah, what, how, how does the opposition between Sun and Mercury play out? There's a pretty good balance. I don't hear people reporting a lot of annoyance with this one, or even noticing that it's in play. So, the way that the Mercury person orders their life and who the Sun person is, it doesn't seem to show up like an awful lot of oppositions do where we can focus just on the bad. It's, it's just more naturally balancing. I don't really have an explanation for that. I don't, I don't know why that one just seems to fit. It's just, it just works. So, um, if I figure that out, I'll let you know. Okay.
Um, so Sun to, uh, Venus, um, not hugely consequential again in synastry. They are not terribly noticeable aspects. When we have the, um, the difficult aspects between Sun to Venus, how the Sun person is, how they go about their identity, and how the Venus person loves, what they find attractive, that's a bit different. So, we don't find the Sun person to like be unattractive or repulsive. And you would think, actually, that, you know, intuitively, that would be the reaction that happens with the difficult aspects between Sun and Venus. It doesn't seem to be the case where they're just like, not our cup of tea. But there are some differences in, um, uh, you know, what we appreciate, because Venus is, is how we go about our appreciation, what we appreciate, and who the Sun person is in themselves. So, it can be like, [Music] think about a hard aspect between Sun and Venus, practical story here, like with you, when you're with somebody that you love, and say, at a restaurant, and they crack a stupid joke, or they're too loud, or something, you're like, ah, you know, keep it down. Or it, there's, it's, it's like that. It's, it's not something that we would like, you know, make an appointment with a therapist to talk about these things. It's, it's more just found in the realm of everyday differences or annoyances that are not terribly consequential. Um, or like, uh, you know, my daughter went to the store the other day, and I said, can you bring me back a salad from the salad from the salad bar? We don't have quite enough salad coming up in the garden yet. And she comes back, and she had dumped a bunch of cottage cheese on the top. And I was like, that's weird. Okay, scraped that off, and then ate the salad. So, it would be little things like that, differences in tastes that would happen between us. But they're not huge. And that's all the aspects of the difficult aspects between the Sun and Venus. They're just not that consequential. The easy ones, it's just easy to enjoy everyday things together. It's easy to enjoy food, friends, music, um, everyday activities, and not terribly noticeable. But it will contribute to a basic enjoyment of everyday life together.
Sun to Mars, so this can be a bit spicy. When we have the good contacts between Sun and Mars, we have a temperamental compatibility. We don't rub each other the wrong way when it comes to our egos. We support each other's sense of self. We feel that the other person is responding to us the way that we want to be responded to when it comes to upholding our confidence, giving us the kind of applause and feedback that we're looking for. When we have the difficult aspects between the Sun and Mars, we want to rip each other's heads off because we irritate each other, and our egos are incompatible. That doesn't mean we can't be together. That doesn't mean we can't love each other, but we will have to be very willing to sublimate our own ego reactions to the other person. So, we have to ask ourselves, do I want to be in a relationship, or do I want to win? Do I want to have this marriage, or do I want to win? And if we want to win, we ain't got nothing. It's not going to last because you're not relating to each other out of love. You're relating to each other out of a sense of wanting to get the other person to see you the way that you want to be seen at all costs. And it takes the love right out of it. So, we have to be aware of how, how we abrade each other's egos when we have the difficult aspects between the Sun and Mars. And this is going to be the exact same conversation that we have when we get to Mars and Mars as well. So, let's just double that. This happens the same way.
Celia, um, yeah, so I guess, um, is there more balance when it comes to the opposition versus the square, or is it still, yeah, conflict? Yeah, no, some people really like the opposition. My, uh, the astrologer I used to, to work with quite a bit, she has the opposition with her husband. They've been together for years, and it really does work for them. Um, and I've known a lot of couples in a very successful relationship with the opposition. It's not as caustic as the square or the semi-square or the cisco quadrant. There can be a good balance in temperaments. And I think actually, and I don't know why, I can't explain why, but I think Mars in opposition works better than Suns in opposition. There seems to be less conflict and more inherent balance. So, if I figure out why that is, I'll let you know. But that's just one of those things that I have yet to be able to explain. Um, but that can actually be a very good thing, especially if we have Mars in mild or mild signs, say Virgo in a Pisces, or, uh, yeah, maybe not an air-fire axis. Um, there's certain combinations that work better than others. And, uh, if we have one person in their natal chart, but their Mars is very touchy, it's probably not gonna work as easily as it would if we had, you know, two people where the Mars is not very touchy in the opposition, because the opposition can set things off very, very easily. And then, would the Sun-Mars aspect make for a lot of, like, chemistry too? Yes, even hard aspects. We want to rip each other's clothes off. That is a, that is some serious hotness. It doesn't matter if they are easy or hard Mars aspects to the Sun. Um, there can be quite a lot of make-up sex as well when we have the hard aspects between Sun and Mars. That can be a pastime, because it's like the egos conflict with each other, but there's still this inherent attraction that is there. So, yeah, all the, the easy contacts between Mars and the Sun are, um, going to be easy to combine our egos and also our timing and what makes us feel good about ourselves and what turns us on. Super easy. But there's still going to be a lot of attraction with the hard aspects. Okay.
Yeah, sorry, I'm, you're kind of answering it as I've had my hand up. I, I just wanted to ask, what about the sexual attraction with, um, of Mars trying Mars at a six-degree, six-degree separation? But, yeah, what would that still be an attraction? Nothing to complain about there. Yeah, it's not as crazy attractive as the opposition or the conjunction. Um, I actually have the conjunction with my husband. That's been a, a good thing over the course of time. It also makes it very easy to work together, to pull your efforts. Like, any kind of physical activity that we do is so easy to agree on. Um, we're out, like the other day, I was out, uh, cleaning out the horse stalls, and he just showed up with the wheelbarrow right at the minute that I needed it. And it's just easy to work together. Um, and attraction is generally very, very good with all of the easy aspects between the Sun and Mars. And it's kind of off the charts with the hard aspects between the Sun and Mars. We don't necessarily have, um, temperamental compatibility, but we will still want to rip each other's clothes off. So, it's one of those situations where like, you drive me crazy, but yet I really want to find you somewhere in a dark alley. And, yeah, and, and North on Mars to Mars, uh, we'll get there. All right. That's a subsequent lesson. Yeah, that's kind of the same thing, but it's even more so. It's super animalistic. Mars-Mars. Sun to Mars, um, in fact, actually, I just kind of went there. Mars to Mars, but Sun to Mars in any aspect is going to be all about attraction, not necessarily harmony. I'll have to work for that.
So, Sun to Jupiter, should we talk about that? Yeah, these are fun aspects. Um, the good aspects between Sun and Jupiter are really lively. We like each other with the Sun aspects to, uh, Jupiter, sextile, conjunction, trine, opposition is actually pretty good. There's a great deal of interest in each other and growth that can come. But we will have some differences when it comes to, um, the, the dream for our life, our life vision, but it can be very balancing. Um, the easy aspects between the Sun and Jupiter bring friendship, forgiveness. We are happy to be in each other's company. These are not sexual aspects, like you would actually think, because Jupiter has a social component. It's, uh, where we act out our, sort of love of all men, our humanitarian aspect of our nature. When that's an aspect to the Sun, the Sun person gets to be who they are. They get to express their natural ways, and we encourage that, um, as the Jupiter person. The difficult aspects between Sun and Jupiter are interesting because Jupiter is where we also exercise our more our moral ideas, our, um, ideas about our beliefs and things. And when that's a difficult aspect to the Sun, oftentimes the Jupiter person has a view of the Sun person that is, um, a bit judgy, we could say, like they're different than what I would, uh, you know, how I would vote, or what I would choose for myself, or, um, so there could be some differences when it comes to the acceptance factor between the two. But Jupiter is where we're pretty open, and so it isn't, it isn't a deal breaker, a Sun-Jupiter thing at all. And in fact, it can inspire quite a bit of growth. It can, um, be present in functioning relationships, not uncommonly, but it will show some more minor differences when it comes to hopes and dreams and ideas about morality. It doesn't tend to keep a relationship from forming, though. The easy aspects are golden to have. I love the easy aspects in parent-child relationships because there's, um, there's a friendship that develops between the two, and that, that can just be a really positive thing when we like spending time with our child or our mother, her father.
So, Sun aspects to Saturn, let's talk about that. So, the easy aspects between the Sun and Saturn, this is not including the conjunction. Let's talk about the sextile, the trine. Those are the only two really easy aspects between the Sun and Saturn. It's, it's, it's easy to combine lifestyles when we have the easy aspects. It's easy to feel as the Sun person that the Saturn person approves of us, that they want, I want to see the best for us, that they think the best of us. It's great for our confidence as the Sun person. The other aspects, the, the conjunctions, talk about that. The conjunction between the Sun and Saturn, the Sun person can often mute their personal expression or not be as open about the sort of just their natural creativity because Saturn is the faculty within us that is about acting out on what we know best, what we have learned through empirical evidence or through life experience. So, you really can't talk us out of our Saturn opinions because it's like, no, I've been through that, I've seen that, I learned that, that's what I know. And so when that's next to the Sun, there is actually a lot of agreement when it comes to styles, lifestyle, um, but it's like our solar power, or our ability to just naturally be ourselves, is being closely monitored or watched. And so we tend to be more, um, formal around the Saturn person, or just watch our P's and Q's. And it can cut down on the naturalness of getting to be who we are as the Sun person. As opposed to, like the Sun with Jupiter, it's like the Jupiter person will encourage us to be as loud and proud and crazy as we want to be. The Saturn person, not so much, though. They'll give us the sideways look like, can't you be this or that? And so, as the Sun person, we do tend to take that seriously.
Tosca, yeah, I was just wondering with this, would you find, um, this contact, the, um, hard aspects or the conjunction, would you find that more difficult if you lack Saturn in your own chart? Probably so, yeah. I would say so. So, if you, um, if you have, uh, in your natal chart, a lot of Saturn hard aspects or conjunctions, then would this aspect still be difficult for you as the Sun person? Well, you would already be, I don't know, because that's adding weight to an issue that's already existing. Oh, because that's like, um, you know, we already have an issue in our, our own chart with, you know, freedom of self-expression or naturalness, and then we come into the presence of somebody else, it kind of enforces that. Um, I don't know that that's going to help the situation. Okay. I think that it would, it would be better to, to balance out that characteristic of, you know, being kind of anal retentive with somebody that encourages us to take a laxative, you know, maybe might be a little bit better. So, I think that could be helpful to, you know, have something that that's bringing in some more casual energy rather than more of that formal. Right. Okay. Interesting. So, yeah, if we are the Saturn person in a relationship with the Sun person, it's a hard aspect, we have to remind ourselves to allow the Sun person to be as they are. They don't have to be as we think they should be. We don't get to decide who they're going to grow up to be. So, we have to remind ourselves to keep our selves to ourselves. And the Sun person can feel our thoughts as the Saturn person, you know, when you're sitting with someone and they're judging you, and you're like, I can feel your thoughts. That's going on. So, we have to make sure that we aren't communicating with our body language. Um, and it's very hard to do. Timing is very hard to do. Our bodies are so honest. So, honest. This is why I love working with horses, because, you know, horses through their body language, they don't, they don't speak. Then they can't lie. And humans are very much the same if you learn to read that body language. But we want to try to communicate openness and permission to be oneself as the Saturn person. And it's none of our business who the Sun person grows up to be. So, the good aspects again are very helpful to the Sun person's confidence. The hard aspects can be very detrimental to the Sun person's confidence. We have to be careful how we're treating.
The opposition between Sun and Saturn again could be very s. It can squash the Sun person pretty easily. Um, there's just a feeling of like, uh, you know, parental disapproval that often will keep a relationship from forming in the first place. This is an unusual aspect to see in a long-term happy relationship. And it's kind of sad when you see this or the conjunction between the Sun and Saturn. It's kind of sad when you see it in a parent-child relationship and the child is the Sun person because they can really suffer from feeling like they're dealing with a parent that they can never please or that is never gonna see the best side of them. And it, it really can be something that it can impact our self-esteem negatively.
Um, some aspects to Uranus. Fabuloso. These are great. Um, the good aspects are great because we are friends. We like each other. Um, Uranus is where we are accepting, where we are willing to allow everything to just be as it is. We do not have an agenda with the Uranian part of our personality. So when that's an aspect to someone's personal expression, they get to be who they are. The Sun person is allowed their solar power in whatever form it may present itself. And we feel good around the Uranus person as the Sun person. We like to be around them. It's like a breath of fresh air. It's like we had a really tight belt on, but we've got to take it off whenever when we're around the Uranus person, we can breathe again. So there's just, uh, an appreciation of the space that we're given as the Sun person. That's all the aspects, the good aspects between Sun and Uranus.
The opposition is interesting. It does tend to bring out more of whatever extreme characteristics exist within us already. Uh, we encourage each other to be the extreme. And, um, that can take different forms depending on what's in the natal chart. Celia, um, yeah, so what about positive and Uranus with parent-child? Oh, it's wonderful. It's wonderful. The child gets to be who the child is. So as opposed to say, you know, strong Saturn stuff where the child has a strong expectation placed on them, we don't have an expectation with Uranus. They're like, you know, whatever makes you happy, you grow up to be whatever you want to be. So we don't impose an agenda on them. And it's nice too if it goes the other way. If it's the parent that's the Sun person, it's like we're with a child that, you know, just loves us for however we are or whoever we are. And that's nice because we can reflect that back to the child. And that's a nice feeling to to get to feel that we aren't, you know, we'll have our feet held to the fire. Um, so it could go well in either direction. But I think especially when the, the parent is the Uranus person, it can be even more lovely.
I'm so sorry that I didn't ask this during the Sun-Mars part, but I'm just looking at my mom's part now. Oh, let's hear it. Um, Sun-Mars good aspects with parent, um, like conjunction, actually usually pretty easy. We won't irritate each other's egos or self-esteem. Seems to be supported. And, and we can have other things going on with our parents. It can suck, but that in itself is is a good thing. Um, we won't want to rip each other's clothes off, like in a romantic relationship, obviously. But the ways in which you use your time and your energy, you act on your, the things that inspire you, will be very much the same. So those could be fun aspects to vacation together, to go on like activities together, because we'll be after a lot of the same stuff. Yeah.
Taska, you know what you were saying about the, um, the opposition between Sun and Uranus can bring out extremes in in the people, like depending on what's going on in their natal chart. Um, could you give an example of that? Um, so say we have one person who likes to engage in risky activities, say they love to jump out of airplanes. Okay? Then we get into a relationship without the opposition, so we can be encouraged to go to that extreme. Or if we have, um, say that we're like, we have an an angry pocket in our personality, we can be really set off with the opposition. We can drive the other person to that extreme of temperament. So if you have like a, just if you have like a, you know, Mars square Pluto, so it can, it can, you know, ignite your Mars square Pluto. Yes. Wow. Okay. The short answer is yes, because that's an extra that already exists there, right? Okay. I understand. Thank you. Um, yeah, absolutely. Yeah. I'm actually just seeing now that my, um, my ascendant is exactly conjunct my mom's moon. Oh, so that's great. Yeah, both at twenty degrees. Friends? Do you like each other? Oh, yeah. Oh, good. Excellent. I love my mom. Yeah, I love going places with her. She's so much fun. We talk at least once a week. It's, uh, sometimes multiple times a week. Oh, good. Excellent. Yeah, I'm building a family compound right now so we can all live together. We can all have our cottages and we have a little family neighborhood there and a family cemetery, which my mom thinks is ultra creepy, but I think it's a cool idea. And we could be there too because in our mind, everybody's kind of on the same level. Yeah. Mother's Day is actually coming up, isn't it? Tomorrow. Um, okay. So let's talk about Sun to. What is next? Neptune. Okay. Sun to Neptune. Um, the good aspects between Sun and Neptune will bring a gauzy view of each other. We see the best in each other. Um, it is the Neptune person who really pours out the content of their inner romantic fantasies or unrealized dreams. A lot of their hopes, really pours that out onto the Sun person. Now, with the easy aspects between Neptune and the Sun, it's showing that there's actually a good, a good match, a good companionability, a good compatibility between what's coming from the Neptune person and who the Sun person is. So if we have Neptune next to the Sun, we're coming through a sign where the outpourings of the Neptune person are matching what the Sun person is their style. See sextile, same thing. Trine, same thing. With a square, the who the Sun person is is not in tune. There's no harmony between the outpouring of what's coming from Neptune and who the Sun person is. Um, Cisco quadrat, unless they're in trine signs and semi-sextile, I'm sorry. Yeah, semi-sextile, conjunction, semi-square, those are all going to be difficult aspects because what the Neptune person thinks they're seeing and who the Sun person is, the actual qualities of their Sun sign, they land in there. So it's not a good mix. So the Neptune person is learning to see the Sun person as they really are. We're learning to understand them as they are in themselves, not who we would like them to be. So, um, as the outer planet person, the outer planet always puts its feelings out there. We, we subconsciously act in a way that puts out a message or a tendril that gets the inner planet person to respond. And then as the outer planet person, we think, oh, that inner planet person is interested in me. No, it's the outer planet person actually subconsciously started it. So with Neptune, we, um, put out this signal that the inner planet person picks up and then it starts this interaction between the two of us. So even with the good aspects between Neptune and the Sun, we have to be very careful about what it is that we are looking at and who it is that we're, we're seeing. We want to look at Neptune in terms of cumulative effect in synistry and composite charts. If we have somebody in their natal chart who's highly Neptunian, as a highly Neptune outlook, and then they have Neptune in any aspect to somebody's Sun or inner planet, it's going to be much more likely that they are going to pin traits on the Sun person or the inner planet person that may not actually be there or see things in them that may not actually be there. So there's a, um, a plainness, an honesty that we come to over the course of getting to know each other more and more and more that happens with the aspects of Neptune to the Sun. So it is possible that with the easy aspects, the Sun person really does possess a lot of the qualities that we're seeing in them. That really is a possibility. But it's something that, um, we'll have to look at it, uh, we'll have to look at a bit more closely.
Kate, I'm, I'm, I'm going slight, I'm, I'm kind of on the same topic, but slight tangent. Um, I am actually having, um, Neptune coming square my Sun natally. And I want to know, does that mean that I will not see people clearly for a while? You know, it, that's going to go back and forth over my square to my Sun for, you know, about 18 months or something. So that means I'm going to be, am I going to be deluding myself for 18 months? That's something that we have to watch out. Well, we just have to watch out for, um, what we choose to believe in. Our vitality and energy tends to be much, much lower. We have to be careful what kinds of, um, people we get involved in, uh, because it's, it is a point of where we're dealing with some confusion. But that leads to clarity. So the first half of the transit is usually very confusing. The second half leads to more of a clarity in general, but that comes from a disillusionment. Oh dear. Okay. Um, I was just wondering, um, let's say in a synistry chart, Kate, you have just a, um, a whole bunch of, uh, you know, easy aspects to Neptune. But, um, is it just the fact that you have more than one aspect, even if it's easy, that is going to make it more likely that you are not seeing the person clearly? Yes. Yes. Yes. Okay. Um, so yeah, that's why I look at it as a cumulative effect. It benefits a lot of easy aspects. The more we have, uh, because Neptune is sugar, it's the romance, it's what happens statistically in only 10% of the time of a total relationship. Yeah. So it's the glue. And if you think about glue, there isn't much glue in a structure. Think about it. So if everything is glue, it's like a dripping, sticky mess, right? We can't have it all be romance. We can't have it all be fantasy. We can't have it all be sugar. We'll get sick. This is why we, we use sugar in small amounts. And this is why our life is peppered, it's sugared with romance. It's not like that all the time because it wouldn't be special anymore. It would be mundane, right? If we ate sugar 24 hours a day, seven days a week, it would not be a treat. It would be the main course. Neptune is not built to be the main course. So when we see it in such a place, when we see that, oh my God, this is not dessert, this is dinner, we've probably got a problem here because that's just not what it's designed for in the human psyche. We can't live on the sweetness and expect to be healthy. Um, if you, if both people are Neptunian in the chart, then, um, is it just going to be highly unlikely that, um, they are really going to see it that way, their relationship that way? And then, and then there's also, you know, Neptune going both ways in this synistry. No, they'll probably see that that's the way it should be. That that's what they've always been looking for. It meets the expectation that they've always had. And so it's the end-all be-all of all love, even though it's something that, you know, somebody more practical would probably look at it and think, that ain't going nowhere. So it's very hard to explain that to somebody who's really in the throes of Neptunian ecstasy. There's, there's, you know, what I mean? Was with somebody who, you know, who's in that, that place. Um, a lot of times, I know I'm not gonna make a dent. They are wasting their money. They're not gonna listen to anything that I have to say. And I just will go into it knowing that. And that's just the way it is. So, um, I'm, if, yeah, it makes us crazy sometimes. Is the conjunction between the Sun and Neptune as bad as the? It's not as bad as the square, right? Not as bad. Um, the thing is, is the Sun person may actually legitimately have a lot of what it is that we want to see in them. But we're generally not seeing them as they are. So it's like after we go through the process of spending enough mundane time with each other, enough Virgo, the, the antidote to Neptune, enough Virgo time together, you know, using the bathroom after each other, putting the dishes away in the dishwasher in a way that, you know, we discover that they do it completely different, and we have to learn how to to work this together. That's the antidote for Neptune because that's practical involvement with each other. That's when we see what it's really like to live together. So after we go through that process of being disillusioned, that's when we have the opportunity to see the other person as they really are. And what we find might actually be pretty good with the conjunction, right? What about the opposition? Okay. Opposition is almost a guarantee of it's like a toxic milkshake. Um, it doesn't mean that we can't have a successful relationship, but it, it generally means that we're gonna have to work through what it is that we think about each other to learn what we actually know about each other. So the disappointment that can come from a Sun-Neptune opposition can be colossal because we think that we see everything that we always wanted to see. And then when the truth is revealed, we feel lied to. We feel like they've taken us for a ride. We feel deceived. And it's really been more a self-deception that most, that both people have been engaging in.
Tasker, I'm sorry, I know this is not about the composite, but it just, um, triggered a question that I had about, and if, uh, in a composite chart, you have the conjunction, and then in the Davidson chart, you have the opposition, um, are both those energies equally as felt? It's showing you two different versions of the same story, but it's, it's the same theme. Major Neptune wrapped up in the relationship. Um, I think that, I think because it's showing that one is a conjunction, one is an opposition, is probably a better chance for success than if we see the square. The square is awful. It is awful. Some people survive it. Some people survive it. They really do. But most people do not. Because when we come to that place of realizing that, hey, I ordered pancakes and I got French toast, most people chuck the French toast. But, but, um, if you're, um, let's say you, even if you have the square, if, um, if you are a highly Neptunian individual, probably it will take you way too long to accept that you've ordered the wrong thing, right? You'll just hang on. Probably. Well, no, no, no, no. I, I see it going the opposite way. I see it going as, no, but they have to come to a place of total disappointment of realizing, you know, you're not what I thought you were. And if someone is highly Neptunian, they do tend to drop the relationship in those circumstances because they're looking for the dream. And when pops, a lot of times they don't have the reserves to look at what the actual truth might be. So sometimes that can happen in relationships. So we'll have like a nasty Neptune, the bubble will pop, but there will be such good content in other areas that the people will actually stay together because it's like, we have a lot to fall back on. A lot of, there's, the relationship has a lot to offer. But if we do not have good content in the relationship and the bubble pops, what the hell are we still doing together? It's like, right, there's, there's no substance to the relationship. So sometimes people can survive it. Um, but if there's more Neptune in the, the natal chart, it's, I think it's less statistically likely that we will survive it for some people, right? Okay. All right. Thank you. You got it. Um, so Neptune, Sun, Sun to Pluto. Should we talk about that one? Get through some Pluto out here. Uh, all right. So the good aspects from Sun to Pluto are actually quite good. They, um, provide a type of resilience to the Sun person. The Pluto person can infuse the Sun person with a kind of toughness, with encouragement. The Pluto person encourages the Sun person to change or affects the Sun person in a way that does not anger the Sun person. They do not threaten them. They don't resist it. They see the wisdom in it and they're happy to go along with the Pluto person's suggestions. Not the same with Sun in a hard aspect to Pluto. The Sun person is not happy about how the Pluto person thinks they should change. They resist it very, very heavily. So the Sun person feels that the Pluto person is trying to extinguish their ego in some way or put pressure on them to be different, and they resist it heavily.
Celia, yeah, um, so would the conjunction in this case be positive or negative? It's typically, I think it's kind of a mixture of both. The conjunction, the conjunction, um, the Sun person is, is, is changed by the interaction with the Pluto person. They are altered in some way. Um, they can feel that there is a type of influence or control that is building up, especially over the course of time, when it comes to their personal expression or their ability to to freely be who they are. So it's similar to a Sun conjunction to Saturn, but it's more subtle. And that oftentimes the Sun person doesn't even realize that they are altering or changing themselves in response to what they think the Pluto person wants from from them. So it's like there's kind of this Bengali kind of influence or even a cult leader kind of influence on the Sun person. Like when you're being led by someone and you don't understand what they're leading you to, that's what we get with the conjunction. It can be very, very positive for the Sun person if the Pluto person is influencing them in positive ways. The Pluto per, the Pluto within us does tend to function, um, in a more controlling way. I mean, it's, it's the, the faculty within all of us that wants to secure a position. So the Sun person is, um, [Music] they're somewhat in danger of being so changed by the Pluto person that they may not recognize themselves. And if the Sun person, if say the Sun person is already Plutonic, like they have a close Sun-Pluto conjunction, would that make it easier? They'll like this kind of thing. They'll be drawn into this kind of thing because when we have Pluto stuff in our personality and then that presents itself in a relationship, it's like that's what our appetite is already ready for. So it's more likely that we'll be drawn into it for sure. Yeah. Um, so all the hard aspects that would include the square, semi-square, opposition to Sun, that's when the Sun person resists. Often, well, not the conjunction. With with the opposition, the square, the other hard aspects, they resist the changes that they feel that the Pluto person wants to make to them.
Tasker, yeah, I was just wondering, um, does the sextile between the two have any effect? Sextiles are more subtle in synistry. They do bring a type of awareness of self that comes from that. Um, hmm, how to describe the sextile? So the Sun person will be changed or altered, but it's likely to be in a way that brings them a deeper meaning of of of duality or opposites. That's that's how sextiles operate. They bring us an awareness of sort of the fabric of life or the fabric of reality. So we can, gosh, I don't, I don't have a compiled list of research when it comes to the sextile between those two, giving you theory rather than what I've seen in reality. But that is something that it could potentially bring a radical self-awareness to the Sun person, but that would come with pressure through pressure from the Pluto, right? So, so that's why you say that it's more subtle? Yeah. Yeah. It wouldn't be as overt like with the square, like we would feel that, oh, you know, you're trying to change me, or, you know, don't tell me to cut my hair, you know, I like being right here, I wanted to be a blonde, that kind of stuff. So yeah, um, we would still have that more covert pressure, uh, exerted from the Pluto person, but may not pick it up as fully as we do with the obvious hard aspects. So, um, would that be, um, a pretty much an unconscious thing from the Pluto person? Especially always. It always is. It always is. It's the part of us that is reaching out and trying to secure something, right? Um, I think even if we are the most enlightened human being on the planet, say we're the Dalai Lama himself, synistry is still going to bring these things out in us. Yeah. People are like transits, they, they bring out certain moods, they bring out certain actions, they bring out certain sides to us. And that's why I think that when you're evaluating relationships, the number one thing we should look for, the, the last question above all questions, we should ask ourselves is, are they bringing out the best in each other, or are they bringing out the worst in each other? That's ultimately, I think, what we're looking for. We don't want to be with someone who brings out the worst in us. Yeah. Now maybe if we're filled with Pluto, that may be our belief, but hey, you know, one, two relationships with that and let's reevaluate here. Yeah. Let's be with somebody who brings out the best in us because that makes life happy and easy and we have less gray hair. Yeah. Yeah. So, uh, yeah, the, the, the aspects from Sun to Pluto are really interesting because it's very much like how a diamond is made. The Sun person is like the diamond, and that diamond is made through pressure, it's made through refinement, it's made over the course of time, and that's what the Sun person ends up with is sort of this deep wisdom of who they are. And sometimes that, that does come through the hard aspects. They really can discover some things they didn't know that they didn't know about themselves as a result of the Pluto person's influence. So it can bring, uh, incredible insight, but it's something that we have to ask ourselves, I know I'm going to have to pay for this. Am I really willing to do that? Because all relationships come with poison. All of them. Every relationship has some kind of poison, and we all have to drink some type of poison, but some poisons are more toxic than others. Some are tolerable than others. And that's also what we're evaluating when we're looking at compatibility is what, what is the strength of the poison and how likely is it to actually have long-term effects? Yeah.
Kate, sorry, I muted myself there and I just wanted to ask about Pluto. Um, I remember somebody saying to me that all Pluto aspects, all Pluto aspects have some element of sort of pain associated with them. And I was wondering if you agreed with that. I don't think that the easy ones do between the Sun and Pluto. I don't think so because the way that the Pluto person wants to secure something or manipulate something or keep something is not rubbing the Sun person the wrong way. They're not interpreting that as something that's detrimental to who they are. They're actually thinking that that really works for them. So, um, a good example of that would be like, uh, say somebody has a trine between the Sun and Pluto and the Pluto person's like, you know, have you thought about changing your hair to like a French bob? You have kind of a square chin that might really bring out the, you know, the shape of your jaw. And the Sun person would be like, you know what? I hadn't thought about that. I'm, I think I think that's a good idea. Hey, I like that. But say we have the square between Pluto and the Sun. The Pluto person is going to be like, have you ever thought about having a French bob? You know, I think it might really complement the style of your face. The Sun person will be like, I am not going to change my hair for any man. I am the way that I am. I do not even, what? You don't like my hair? You don't, you don't like what I've got going on here? We're just offended. We don't want to be changed. We don't, we resent the suggestion that we should be changed. So, um, you know, it's not a bad thing with the, with the good aspects because the Pluto person doesn't seem to have a detrimental effect on the Sun person with the good aspects. Okay. Oh, I was looking at the wrong person. Sorry. Okay. All right. Um, so guys, we're at an hour and a half and we're just into the Sun. Should we meet again this week and talk about the Moon and split this lesson up into two parts so we're not tired? Yeah. What does everybody think? Do you mind having another lesson this week? No. No. Okay. Um, so how does, let's see. I know Kate, you can't do weekdays. I can't. Yeah, I can't do weekdays. But I'll get the, I'll get the, and she'll do the audio. Okay. Good. Can I just say because I'll miss it? I, I wanted to say if you're talking about the Moon, um, I have, um, I have Moon conjunct. My daughter has Moon trine Jupiter. And my, and my Moon is conjunct her Moon. And it is the most wonderful relationship. Oh, I love that. I have good Moon-Jupiter with my daughter too. We love going places together. We love spending time together. That's a wonderful thing. It is. It is amazing. We have an amazing relationship. And she's, she's all because she's got the Moon trine Jupiter, she's kind of like a little bit of a ray of sunshine for everybody. But then obviously for me because my Moon's conjunct, so yeah. Yeah. Which means it's also trine to her Jupiter, which is, uh, yeah, I'm fun and generous and we just, we like each other with that with lots of forgiveness and warmth. Oh, you're so lucky. Yeah. Wonderful, wonderful. Um, so shall we meet, um, let's see. Let's put out a couple of times here and see what works for people. Thursday, either at 10 a.m. Pacific time or 6 p.m. Pacific time. What works for for everybody? Thursday 10. Thursday at 6. Six for me personally. Right. Six. So there's lots of tens. There's some sixes. Can we meet in the middle? Does 3 p.m. work for everybody? I'm not off work. No. Five. So you're not very till five? What time zone are you? Celia? Pacific. Saying okay. Okay. So let me take a look here. Let's see. Look at the chat. Ten, six, three, three. Okay. So we have an array of things here. I'm not sure we're going to be able to agree. Um, I've been at most of them. I'm okay with catching an audio. Well, wondering about. Yeah. All right. So let's try, let's all right, then Celia, if you're okay with that, let's, let's just go with 10 because we're going to have a lot of extra lessons, I can tell during this class. So let's meet Thursday at 10 a.m. And if you guys can't make it, I will make the audio available that day. Um, does that work? Taska, that was your original, or was it 6 p.m.? Yeah, it was, um, it was 6 p.m. Um, on the, um, sorry, 10 a.m. I'm just trying to figure out. Makes it six. Um, is there any way? I know this is like me being really difficult, but is there any way we could do 10:30? You know what? We can. Is, is 10:30 okay with everybody? 10:30 works for me. Okay. We will do 10:30 coming up on Thursday, and we will talk about Moon aspects to planets and, um, uh, we'll see how far we get. And we're probably just going to have to make this into a bi-weekly meeting rather than a weekly meeting because, and if we have questions and we catch the audio, we can bring it at the beginning of the next. Absolutely. Absolutely. Yeah, we'll use that as a segue into the next lesson there. And I did want to mention, um, I have a slow track synistry course that I'm doing with my subscriber group. That if you guys were interested in being added to that, I could add you to that. It's, um, there's no definite end date to that. It's just an ongoing course. So there's a lot of detail in that group because we'll spend an hour, an hour and a half talking about just aspects to Mars or just aspects, you know, from Sun to Jupiter, something like that. So that's an option if anybody wanted to join that, I could add you to that in the future. Um, how much is that, Jewel? Okay, it's a year. You know, I don't know. I don't know what to charge for that. I was thinking about that today. I don't know really what to do about that. Um, because it's, it's part of my subscriber group, which I closed, uh, quite a while ago because I couldn't, I just couldn't handle anymore. So think about opening that up again. And if that is the case, then what you'll get is access to, uh, the synistry class we have on Saturday, that's 10 a.m. on Saturdays. Uh, we have a class on Mondays, 10 a.m., which right now we're talking about complexes and the birth chart. And then every Wednesday at 10 a.m., we also have a question and answer. So it's just open for whatever kind of conversation wants to come up. And I take a look at people's charts and, you know, just answer any kind of random question you might have. And access to the subscriber playlist, which has hours and hours and hours and hours of content and teaching videos. Yeah, I would love that. That sounds awesome. Yeah, it's a lot. I think it's, it's a better deal than signing up for courses individually because you can, I put all the courses I teach on that playlist. So it doesn't matter what group I'm teaching, you can always access those audios. So it's a really good deal. And we're also the aspects class as well, right now, which is a very, very advanced class. So yeah, if you guys are interested in that, email me and let me know and I'll figure out what kind of pricing works for that and I can add you. Yeah, that would be great. Yeah, I will definitely email you about that. Okay. Yeah, I think that would work for a lot of people. It's actually a much more economical option because for the one price, you can get every class that I teach for the entire year. Yeah, definitely. All right. So let's wrap up for tonight. We'll be back, um, Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Pacific time, and we will talk about Moon aspects to planets and see how far we get. Okay. Thank you so much. You are welcome. I'll see you guys soon. Bye bye. Thank you. Thank you.
