Oh my goodness, folks. This Aries new moon is upon us. Welcome. I am Iris on Madronis Pulse teachings. I just want to jump into it with you. We are moving through this is a threshold crossing this new moon. So, it is on April 17th at 7:51 a.m. Eastern time and it's happening at 27 degrees of Aries.
I did make a video on, as I usually do on the weekly astro that kind of went through all the buildup to this new moon here. I really just want to name some themes and and and name why it's so powerful because and also name why it's so important that we how we approach astrology because that determines how we interpret how we read the archetypes that are speaking and I'm just seeing so much out there that's in like a binary split of either Aries is rash impulsive ive primal violence or there's the enlightened Ariaries but it's really being talked about as the spiritual warrior that transcends the body that transcends the primal aspect of Aries and I really invite you not to work with that binary okay and here's why Aries is supposed to be primal fire it is about our first embodiment in this life and Aries is undergoing a a massive transformation of how we embody and co-create with the Aries archetype itself especially through Mars who leading up to this new moon is talking with all the outer planets it is be it is having them transmute how we embody Mars Mars itself as an archetype is going through an evolution which means we are going through evolutions and it's always co-creat creative relationship and Aries's primal fire.
It is how we feel the primal fire in us. What happens is that when that primal fire is in a culture of toxic power over normalized archetypes and it is not just in the elite where we see that it is the the very fabric. It is in every media narrative. It is what is considered success is this competitive nature of the Aries power over that creates fear that creates a fracture and trauma within one's relationship with oneself and it distorts how we access Aries primal fire. Aries and that Mars is undergoing a radical transformation with the Saturn Neptune conjunction in Aries with what those two archetypes are are manifesting as we move through our journey with them. And now Mars has it spoke to Uranus before it entered Aries. It is had its conjunction with Neptune by the time we come into this new moon. It's sexile Pluto still for it and then it's going to go talk with Saturn and the south node. There is such a beautiful realignment going on but it is deep and of course it involves Chiron and Aerys who's talking with this new moon and so just working with that Aries this is about healing that fear drive so that we can feel our primal fire so that we can feel desire in the body because Aries is how spirit comes into the body. We feel it and it is especially because that Mars has been with Neptune. It is about bringing the spiritual here into this plane into if we want to wield that kind of sacred warrior. I like sacred protector um you know energy but the piece here is that we wield it by embodying the path with our drive with our commitment. Juno is also here conjunct Pluto sexile Mars and so with this new moon firstly there is something about stripping it down the Pluto sexile to Mars that's going on and leading up to this new moon and Juno is there too conjunct conjunct Pluto is all about stripping it down to feel each of us this energy is about us it's about our journey about how we can actually be quite a lot more authentic with ourselves in how we show up with ourselves in our own life, how we want to commit to that, how that connects to your soul journey that you feel yourself on. And then of course, how we show that to the world and others.
And this sounds easy, just be authentic. be authentic in a society and culture that historically you will s quote unquote succeed materially. The more inauthentic that you are, the more it's about the spectacle. And we are conditioned and this is even in the algorithm trending function of something like Tik Tok. The spectacle is that which trends. It's that which gets the click. It's that which then reconditions the mind and the sense of self, especially in youth, into the very concept of what it means to be an individual and a person in connection with the collective. And social media, all media always reconditions the place of the individual and the sense of self, but we've never seen it happen as rapidly because of the increase and the massive shift that came with the digital revolution. And now, of course, that's moved into the AI revolution. And I am going to make parenthesy, I've had a lot of requests over these few years to let the critical media studies professor speak with astrology more. I'm going to do that in a video on Uranus entering Gemini because all of these issues are really big. Okay. Um, and yet this astrology asks us to see through all the spectacle, to strip it down, and to come into being so honest with ourselves about what we want to commit to, what is sacred in our life, how we want our drive to be there, how we're literally building a new reality that can have this as the structuring of that reality of how we connect with ourselves and then therefore how we connect with the earth, how we connect with each other. And of course, it's always a fluid relationship between those three.
And this is happening as the new moon conjuncts Chiron. And it's also in a pretty exact in conjunct with true black moon Lilith. Okay? Who's there at 27 degrees of Scorpio? That's a very important layer. We have true black moon Lilith and Aries talking with this Aries new moon ruled by Mars inundated with the paradigm shift conjunct Chiron. There is a massive breakthrough in your own healing soul journey. This is absolutely about this life, the stories you've lived through, how you've moved through it, but it's also the deep resonance of a wound that actually represents the longing to return home to source and the way that that longing gets complicated in all the different layers of human relationship and human story. And that wound is pulsing. It is surging. The flames are burning. with really strong divine feminine energy. Both black moon Lilith and Eris are about absolutely interrupting the norms that do originate from power over and cultures of domination and ideologies of domination that absolutely are gendered. And yet in our in our current contemporary experience are very complicated and breaking it up and coming into a new healing trajectory, seeding into it. This new moon is is kind of spectacular because yes, it's part of always the the kind of lunar cycle that we're working with and this is a new beginning within that lunar cycle, but it's a new beginning for you, for your psyche, for your body in this life. And one of the messages of this Chiron is also and it's deep, okay? And it's got Lilith and and and Aith archetypes coming through. And black moon Lilith is so important because she is always related to our own emotional journey. She is a part of the moon and its path. There is something about old stories that you have potentially been legging around and they're heavy. They're like they're so heavy and it is time to have a sacred fire ceremony with them. Whether you do that in dream or you do it through art or you light a fire, you light a candle. And this is an Aries. It it is really about you and your relationship with yourself and witnessing this and whatever words come as you're leading up to this sacred ceremony. This is wielding primal fire energy. This is how we do it when we are astro witching. When we are working with the elements in tune with the archetypes in an embodied plane, speak the words that you want to release it. And this is really important because this is part of the layers of Chiron and it's part of the layers of of Aries. It's not about whether the story we're releasing we're releasing is true. It's not about whether it's been justified. It's not about, you know, whether that person was held accountable. It's about the impact on us, on you. And this is most likely some deep trauma, okay? Some deep wounds there. Layers and layers. And yet, some of those stories are just so freaking heavy. They are so exhausting. and we cannot move and we cannot stoke the fires of our primal desire. And those stories they are what can get in the way of Aries and Aries kind of living in that very heart mind gut attunement to source energy in this plane in this body with that primal urge.
The primal urge is not something to be put either into a pathizing gaze, nor is it something to move from what we call the deficiency practice, which some of you have heard me chat about, um, which comes from feminist trauma theory, and the way that simply existing and certain intersecting narratives causes us to be seen both from an inquiring gaze, often from a psychotherrapeutic model, and internalized into our own gain. It's as simp as as deficient because we do not manifest the identity and history of that which is quote unquote normal and functional in a certain way. And when we're taught to see ourselves, to feel ourselves, to believe we are deficient, when we're taught to think that a primal urge, it's about and and it's the difference is that when we move into this with an embodied practice, it it takes time. Takes time to learn the difference to unlearn. It takes time to get to know our urges and what they're speaking and how our body is in that and how the ecosystem and how art is going to be a beautiful mediator of that. And it is a from my experience the most luscious beautiful journey that we can have and it's a practice and it's ongoing and Aries is the start of that and so these stories that have interrupted that you know and and that's truly the definition of trauma. It is not what someone else does to us. It is the interruption of our relationship with our self. That's the wound. And there's so much emphasis on what other people do in narratives of how trauma is taught and worked with that it is very confusing. And yet when we strip it down and we get to the source and the core of our relationship with oursel and our relationship to that which we innately belong to which is also what's of sometimes interrupted and sometimes for survival we go straight into that relationship. We I know myself I cocooned up with goddess from before I could construct full languages because of what I was raised in full sentences and oh I cocooned up with her and then go is like sweetie you got you got to go back up there and oh the journey of climbing out of that cocoon right which there's always more and more layers to and Chiron is part of that journey and so whatever stories you have been journeying with that have most likely been really important and part of getting to with your but but they just feel too heavy. The pieces that we connect this to looking around your life and seeing that you're in a different reality. Seeing that that that person, that family, that belief structure, that you know personal experience of the complicated intersections of ideologies of power and microlevel interactions and relationship often with loved ones, they're just not here in the way that they were. And even if those people are still in our lives, we get to change how we relate. But first we have to change how we relate with ourselves. And that is what the astrology of this time is all about. And these deep seeding and remember the new moon and also these these conjunctions they're about seeding into a new cycle. It doesn't need to happen right now. What happens is the birth of the awareness in the body. And that is where the ritual working with the element that connects us. That makes it not something of the mind. It also takes us into the elemental connection which which helps us transmute the wound so that we're not quote unquote manifesting from a wound. Because a lot of what is out there around manifestation is manifesting firstly without a lot of critical cultural theory understanding of power of ideologies and how they get into what we want to manifest. And secondly it's coming from a wound that hasn't been sat with. And so a lot of times what you see is just this manifesting and it it can totally work but it might not actually be what the individual wants needs and it definitely might not be what the soul journey needs for healing and evolution.
But when we bring it into again this kind of um reclaimy rec reclaiming that was reclaiming and witchy coming together. I love when this happens here. Right in Patreon, we have got our cauldroning verb, which I just love. Um, but this is cauldroning. This is when we are reclaiming the ways of knowing that have been systematically erased through extreme violence over centuries and centuries. And yet we all innately have within us. And that is part of our spirituality. And so when we do this and we align it with the the resonance of the archetypes that are surging and that's also why you know a an an astrology evolutionary astrology and embodied practice that's working with the elements is going to be a bit different than just say um what's out there is just kind of a witch practice which is wonderful and beautiful but but they're going to be a bit different in terms of how we come into ritual and what we work with and how we work with it And it connects us into this deep embodied belonging with the ecosystems. Whatever words we use, right? And there is so much healing here. And all of that was to say it doesn't have to it's it's the intention and the connection that we seed into. And then we start we move forward, right? And last layer is as we are coming into this this new moon, Mars is going to be moving towards exact toward its exact conjunction with Saturn. Mercury's coming there too, but that's also with an in conjunct with the south node. Meaning that the more that we can really root into this stripping back the layers, strip off everything that's all fancy and get and and gets the click and gets the everything and just being with that pulsing oh that Aries pulsing fire thread in the blood. The more that we can just be with that and however that speaks to you, that's going to work to also bring into awareness of the daily life patterns, the belief systems. All of that is in a complicated relationship in Virgo that are keeping those old stories threaded through the psychic body. And Saturn is helping us release them with the south node in Mars. And so the more that we just connect and this is of course using your intuition. This is Aries. This is that fire. It's your intuition, right? And it has been receded with Neptune and it has come into a whole new journey and it is about the sacred protector of what is sacred in you in this life and just how this life is sacred. getting to sit every moment and touch our animal friend. It's just been so silenced. We need different ways of knowing to let us connect with the archetypes that represent different ways of knowing and carry us through on our path in new ways.
