Welcome. I am Dr. Alladi Anjaiah, Senior Economy Faculty. From our Alladi Publications, releasing practice bits has been a common practice for a long time, and the results have been very high. This is because I prepare questions based on the examiner's pulse.
What is special this time is that along with the question, an analysis of the answer has also been provided. That is, first I gave the question, and then an explanation for the answer was also given. So, all the candidates should practice this book at least three times. After practicing like that, no matter what other kind of practice you do, the examination will become very, very easy for you.
Previously, I released a 4200-bit bank, and it gave excellent results. Along with that, I also released a book of previous bits, taking questions from all exams from 1987 to 2024. That also gave excellent results. However, the exam trend has changed now, and accordingly, I have newly released another book. The new point in this is the Assertion and Reasoning method, meaning the book has been released in line with the present trend.
Please follow that book once. But if you do the bits only once, you will not get them under any circumstances. At least, just practice this book, or each and every question, three times. Only then will you get the correct answer. But immediately after attempting the question, do not look at the key. I have given the explanation. If you look at it, your practice will not be very useful. So, follow the method I have explained, and you will achieve success with a good top rank in your job.
Next, I am going to explain this question to you. There is nothing much to it. The question is: An Indian citizen is working as a software engineer in America. This is a good statement. I regularly give examples in class too. Where an Indian citizen is working in America as a software engineer, and is sending a portion of his income to his family in India. How will this income be considered in the calculation of national income?
See, they are giving questions like this, very lengthily. A question that needs to be done in one minute is being made to take more than one minute. This means that only those with a high IQ level and speed have a chance of getting jobs. Practice is very, very important. Accordingly, I am providing you with this question paper. Along with this book, I will again release 10 model papers before the exam. But first, practice this. This is unit-wise.
Here, I will give a small example for this question. These are topics we have discussed in class before; nothing new. Here is an Indian citizen. An Indian citizen went from India to America. He is working in America as a software engineer. His family is here in India. The family is here, and he went there for a job. He definitely sends some amount every month from his income. These are called remittances. India is the country that receives the highest remittances in the world. Remember that too.
Okay. Since he is working and sending income, and he is in another country, the income received by that citizen, if added to our country's income, is called GNP. The income earned by Indian citizens anywhere in the world, if added, is called GNP. It is called Gross National Product. You must remember this.
Sir, here he is sending money for free, without working, like gifts. These gifts are just called transfer payments, or transfers, or transfer payments. Such free transfers are not included in national income. Only remittances are included. If you don't have this clarity, no matter how hard you work, you won't get the bit right. Did it come for free? Yes, it is a transfer payment. Do not count it. He worked hard, earned money, and sent a small portion of it to you. That is remittances. We include it. If included, it is called GNP.
Sir, is it included in that country? It is not included in that country. It is included in our country. This income is in GNP, but it is not included in GDP again. It is not included in GDP. GDP means the income earned by those within the geographical territory of India is GDP. Whatever income is earned in this territory or in this geographical territory, that is GDP. If the income is earned by a citizen in this country and in the rest of the world or in foreign countries, that is included in GNP. That is the difference between GDP and GNP.
See, when you get this clarity, you will definitely get a job. So, candidates, please look at this carefully. Let me explain it again. Does this get included in India's Gross Domestic Product? See, it does not get included. It is not included in GDP. Close. That's it.
Okay. You don't need to read the whole thing. If you read half and close it, it will take you three minutes to read the whole thing. Your time is just one minute. So, in the exam, they are giving you a clue: "Don't sit and read the whole thing. Grab one point, mark it, or put a right mark. That's it." In that way, it is not included in America's Gross National Product, and it is not included in that country's Gross National Product. Because it is earned by the citizens of that country, it is that country's Gross National Product. But since he is our country's citizen, it is not the Gross National Product. Close. It is only monetary transfers. This is not a monetary transfer. He worked hard and sent money. So, no transfer payment. See how simple they are. I am not touching the end here. Okay?
Next, it is included in India's [cough] Gross National Product. Yes, yes, yes. But it is not included in Gross Domestic Product. Yes. So, this one is the correct answer. Just once, you check the answer. Once, check the answer. It is included in GNP, not in GDP. So, this is the right option. The fourth option is right. I have given it like this: "Four is the correct answer. I gave four. Why is it correct? I gave it. Income earned and sent from abroad is called remittances. A new bit is hit. The country that received the highest remittances is India. Another bit is hit. Since it is earned by our country's citizen, it is included in our Gross National Product. Yes, it is included. I used to explain like this in offline classes, but now we don't have that scope. The gap between you and me is large now. So, candidates, use this and succeed. If you have doubts, ask me, and I will clarify them for you. This did not happen within our geographical boundaries, so it is not included in Gross Domestic Product. Right. So, it includes in GNP, but it is not included in GDP. So, the answer is four. The fourth correct answer. Right. Mark it, mark it wrong, get the job. Okay. I will provide you with more such videos. If you like it, like it. Share it with your friends. If you want more, there are many courses in our Alladi Publications app. There is also a special Economy course. So, utilize it properly. Similarly, many, many books are regularly released from Alladi Publications. Follow them. If you have doubts, go to Amazon or Flipkart and see. Even books from 2014-15 will be visible to you. Some people have doubts. They ask, "Sir, do you have old books?" Go and see. Look on Amazon. They are there. In 2014, I was the first to release Telangana Economy. At the same time, in 2015, I released the Andhra Pradesh Economy book. You will see such books on Amazon and Flipkart. Okay? So, the way those books are written, I regularly provide you with questions by properly grasping the exam pulse. Many aspirants who followed our books have succeeded. So, my aspiration is that you too should stand as winners. I wish you all the very best."
