Hello. Hi there. Well, we're back together doing a video. Want to talk to y'all about this awesome weekend we had this past weekend. Uh started on Thursday and then Friday and Saturday. It was the Book of Mormon uh evidence conference, the Firm Foundation conference. It was really amazing. We had a We had We met some awesome people. Went to to uh quite a few um classes. >> classes or presentations. Uh they had booths. They had books to buy and uh just It was really really good. So, uh we're going to talk about that and and maybe a couple of other things. Uh the uh Well, we'll get into our participation in it and what what what we did. But, um yeah. What What do you have to say about it?
Um I call it the gathering conference. >> The gathering conference. Because of the people it gathered together. Um some people are adamant that we need to know about where the Book of Mormon lands are. And I'm not saying that we don't. I'm just saying that this conference collects so many different kinds of people. It's amazing. And I just Can I just spend a few minutes talking about them? Absolutely. Okay. Um the tour people that we go with on Legacy Tours. They were there. Jill and Chris, they were there. They're our good friends. We love them both so much. We learned so much from both of them. Um Chris also taught about um the LifeWave technology of patches. Can you see my patch that's on my hoping to help my little arthritic um palm. Um and then she talked about Mary Magdalene. I really enjoyed that one. I I >> It's amazing. >> It really is. These classes are amazing. Um Lonnie Crockett spoke on the Constitution. >> So good. >> His class was fabulous. He is a bright bright man, written many many books. He's a good friend of ours. >> Taught at Weber State. >> Taught at Weber State. Um he was on one of our tours, he and his wonderful wife Pam. We've had dinner with him since. Um he knows our brother-in-law. He served on a mission with him. Um we have such a love for him and for Pam. Love them. His his uh presentation on the Constitution and our responsibility. Is this in your way? It's okay. >> Okay. >> [snorts] >> Um his understanding of the Constitution and how it applies to us as individuals is so good. Is so good. And what we need to be aware of as the citizens of this of this great country. Anyway, it was it was really good. >> Amazing. And there are many classes that I've written a lot down, but I'm just These are just a few that have just come to my mind. Um Dean Sessions, of course, the Universal Model. I love that man. He's just so sweet. His wife is so sweet. Um I totally believe everything that he teaches. The earth really is not millions and millions of years old. It's 6,000 years old right now. >> tells us it is. It's amazing. Um we bought a book by um that Jeremy Michelle had written. It's a dinosaur book. Oh, it's awesome. >> And it's awesome. We bought some for our little grandsons. Um Talked to him for a long time. It was It was incredible. Smart These smart smart people. Um Mark Kimball, holy moly. Oh, yeah. His was incredible, too. I mean, just incredible. And if I could find quickly um but he and his wife, we met them last year. And just just absolutely the kindest people in the whole world. Um I know that some people don't want us to use names, but all I can say is it's it's important that these people understand and know that we love them so much. Um Mark talked about the universal flood. >> Yeah. And the witness of it throughout the earth. And It was so good. It was so fascinating. >> So incredible. >> And the evidence is right in front of our faces if we just travel to just a few places where there's been erosion or uh a uh a catastrophic event. Uh you know, the Grand Canyon being one of them. You can see the evidence of of how the earth just isn't as old as what we've been lied to about for so many years. It's really really good. And and that the flood really was the the hinge point. And and where the sediments occurred that fossilized things and and anyway, you I'm sorry. >> Well, no no no no. That's that's great. Um what he said I thought was so I loved his wording. He said the flood was merciful. Yeah. >> was merciful to give those people an opportunity to repent. Well, and if if the flood hadn't have happened, Noah and his family would have been just overcome with the the wickedness. And and so, yeah, it it the baptism of the earth cleansed and provided it saved eight souls. Yeah. >> It saved eight souls. That's what Peter says. Um Colly Davis He is the author of this book. >> [clears throat] >> I'll hold it up for you. >> within our grasp. You can see the painting. He had the painting there that he hadn't done, but he had um somebody else do for his what his experience. Amazing amazing an amazing incredible man. Um his story was fascinating. Um Brother Kimball, he talked about hidden stories in Britain about Joseph of Arimathea. And see, and that's one thing This is a different Kimball. >> This is a different Kimball, but um yeah. Yeah. So, Mark Kimball's one. This is another Kimball from another family. >> Braun uh Is it Braun? >> Well, I don't know if it was Braun. But anyway, um Brother Kimball and he um there were a lot of Kimballs at this. Chris Kimball, Mark Kimball. And the Brother Kimball. >> [laughter] >> Um but how incredible that story is um that happened in England and France. And just the just the legacy >> Starting in Spain. Starting in Spain. And the the Stone of Destiny, it just ties in so much stuff. It was so fascinating. >> Yeah. Just incredible. And and a lot of these are based on tradition, but now they're finding like real evidence that these traditions actually came from something real. And they're worth exploring. They're fascinating to me. And you know that we've attended some two trips for sure that that were One was the Traditions of Christ in Ancient Great Britain, which we covered some of this stuff. But Brother Kimball wrote has written a book and he's he's going to be doing a tour with with Chris Kimball uh with Legacy Tours to Great Britain. Um mostly in England area because they're covering so much stuff there. And they're going to be doing that, I think, in September if I'm if If you have any inkling of going, That's a good one. That would be >> That would be a number one. Cuz we've done it, but they've added more to it. And it's, you know, it's awesome. >> All of his research and and just Yeah. It's just it's amazing. Um Just to add one more thing. Those of us that come from that area, our family, our heritage, it it it's like discovering who you really are and where you came from. As not not in the pre-mortal life it sense, but but where your ancestors and why they believed what they believed and how they embraced the gospel so much. It's >> And how they ended up in America. >> And how they ended up America. Thank you. Yeah, really good. >> Amazing. >> Yeah. Amazing.
Um Probably my most favorite just because this is my jam. I love it so much are near-death experiences. And Scott Drummond spoke of his experience. And you know, I was trying to explain to somebody today even about his near-death experience, how he died. I can't even remember how he how he died. I can't even remember that part. All I can remember is what happened when he went through the veil and how incredible [snorts] it was. How beautiful. Um the colors were more vibrant than on Earth. You can smell, feel, touch colors. Different species, just many, many different species. Trees infused with gold. Red leaves on top, gold on the other side. Flowers facing towards him. All life showed love for him. Flowers showed such great love. Grass and flowers up to his waist giving him love. Green grass, but on top gold, all flowing toward him. Clouds were like the colors of chandeliers. No time was there. He was given a life review. And how his heavenly mother handed him to his earthly mother at birth. He could see in his life review how he treated others. He said that Christ led him through every experience he had had. Christ taught him what was important. And he put life and how Christ puts life in everything here on Earth. Then a voice came out of a cloud walking and he walked up to it. Grass and flowers started pushing him toward the cloud. All filled with love and kindness. His arm came out of Oh, an arm came out of the cloud. Just pure, no color. Wasn't a white person's arm, a brown person's arm, a black person's arm. It was a pure arm. An arm in pure color. He said he felt only love and acceptance from that arm with large hands, strong. And he was instructed to take hold of that hand. He said energy from his from that hand to Scott's hand, Scott Drummond, who this happened to. Energy when he touched the hand flowed through his body. The hand retracted a bit and said it's not yet your time. You have more things to learn. He saw purity, love, beauty, and service. He did not want to come back. There was absolutely no pain in heaven. Scott says he knows his voice, it was familiar to him. I love these stories. Love them. >> [snorts] >> But I just have to talk about the last thing as far as the gathering. So, we go to this conference. Our good friend John Hewlett and his wife Janet, we love them so much. They've given us the opportunity to share our Cardio Miracle, share our story um with others and how it works. How it's helped us. How we have we're healthier from it. We love it. So, John John Hewlett was the sponsor for this um conference. So, they had a huge Cardio Miracle table there. They were giving samples to everybody. Um just it was it's an amazing place. But so, there's John Hewlett and Janet Hewlett and they spoke at the end talking about um miracles in Polynesia. And it was it was an amazing thing. So, from years and years and years ago, I know most of you probably know this story. We lived in an area and John and his wife and their children were our friends. We We lived in the same ward. We you know, we were friends with them. And he moves on, we move on and um anyway, later on I don't know, 5 years ago since you broke your leg or something, maybe six. Yeah. Um John met up with Scott, told him about Cardio Miracle and that's the that's the beginning of our Cardio Miracle story. So, another friend in his class we attended, absolutely loved. >> Oh, it was awesome. Miracles in the temple. Temple miracles. And he's Sunshine for the Soul podcaster. If you just want to hear pure joy, wonderful miracles, good stories, listen to Sunshine for the Soul by Lance Merrill. Anyway, Lance and Scott We served missions together. And you knew him before. I knew him before. He He He was more my sister's age and hung out with her. But but I knew him. I I knew him. But then we ended up on the on the same mission together. And then we reconnected and then he has this great channel like Sue said, Sun- Sunshine for the Soul. And it's uh he tells inspirational stories mostly I would say from church history, but other things. And and um just just cool just Okay. >> Very uplifting. Thank you. That's right. But I was just going to say, so here we have two friends from our way past. And here we all three of our our groups, Lance and Sherry, John and Janet, and Scott and I are at this conference together. It truly is a gathering. It's a gathering and what happens is you go through life, you have all these multiple experiences, but as you are gathered to Christ, you feel nothing but love for many, many different kinds of people. And here we are with our old friends. So, here we are with all of our new friends. And then here we are with our old friends. And we are this it's it was an amazing experience to think from our past we connected in the future together through various means. It was It was an amazing, amazing conference. I just have to say that part. Um [snorts and clears throat] Really, it's a gathering of Israel. It's a gathering. It's It's part of that. That's >> [snorts] >> this type of thing is part of the gathering of Israel. You're right. [snorts] Okay, so that's about all I want to say about it, but it was incredible. Um Collie Davis has a free download so that you can see >> [snorts] >> I'm going to put it up to the screen if anybody wants to I don't know if you can um take a picture of that and see the download of how the artist created that beautiful, beautiful painting. It was so inspirational, so inspirational. Anyway, it was just a It was incredible. It was incredible.
Okay, so but really the reason why we were you know, we went to it last year. I think Scott presented last year. I don't I can't remember what you presented on. >> Well, yeah. But but >> fall. In the fall. But they asked him to do something with Rod Meldrum, who is the creator of that conference because Rod totally believes in the Heartland theory. Um And 99% of the people that attend do. And 99.9% of the people that attend that conference do as well. Um but I have to tell you I would say 99% of the people are so loving, so kind, so open. They're not there with angst. They're not there with um any spirit of meanness. You know, we have different understandings, different understandings of what. But anyway, so Scott and Rod had the opportunity to have a friendly discussion on Saturday night. Um It was long. It was a little bit too long for me, but that's beside the point. Um we'd had three super busy days. Let's just put it that way. And Saturday night, it lasted a long time. I don't know if you want to say anything about it. To me, um you can hear evidence from both sides. And some people were shaking their heads for one side like strongly, you know, yes, that's it. That's it. But everybody I would say they were generally very, very kind. They weren't loud. They weren't obnoxious. And I think probably the two people that were there that believed our way, one of them was me and one of them was [laughter] Scott. We We are Central American advocates, I guess. You know, and and I do have to say that we went on a a Mesoamerican tour a number of years ago. And our tour leader um he said, "I used to believe in the Heartland." And he says, "Absolutely no after being down here and looking at this that this is where the Nephites and Lehi's Lamanites started or Nephi, Lehi, Lamanite Laman and Lemuel where they began. So Anyway, I don't know if you want to say anything else about that. It lasted really late. We started around 7:30 and ended about almost 10:00. We could have gone way longer as far as Rod and I and and I [snorts] had had a little misunderstanding of of how the questioning and things were going to go, but you know what? It worked out fine. I had the opportunity to present the things that I wanted to. We discussed the Times and Seasons letters, the letter from Bernhisel, climate, the the geogra- I mean the the the size, the geographic size of the bulk of the Book of Mormon, Rod had you know, lots of information. He's been doing this for years. And I you know, it was it was good. I I I enjoyed it. I I do think we should have ended right at 9:00. And then and then had an opportunity to maybe talk to some people afterwards because by the time we ended a lot of people had left and they needed to. Most people. It was we'd all had a long day. >> Yeah. But it was the last uh session. Yeah. The presentation of the conference. So I hope to I hope I get invited again and and maybe slightly different format or whatever as far as that kind of discussion cuz it really is it's the only conference I can think of where someone with a very opposing view would be invited to come and and to to debate it wasn't really a debate but but to to share their views. And and this is what I love about this conference is is you have so many different presentations. And and it gives it gives >> to talk about Robin Young. Oh, she was probably one of my most favorite. >> Okay. Oh, she was incredible talking about Heavenly Mother and how the woman is has been erased from scripture, but you can find it by looking Oh, I absolutely I absolutely loved hers. I don't know why I didn't say that first off because it's been on my mind. Amazing. Okay. Sweet.
Um just another thought that just came to my head is are the the other trips that Legacy Tours offers. Um and Sue said they they had a booth at the conference, but um the mysteries of Egypt uh this will be hosted by Sue and I and Chris Kimball who really is one of the experts on on the divine feminine and uh hidden mysteries of Egypt. And it this is going to be this fall. So I just encourage you if you have if you've ever thought of going to Egypt this would be the trip. It's going to be 12 days 11 12 days something like that. >> Don't we get to go to the new museum? >> We get to go to the new museum which there's been a few people Chris just got back from Egypt like a couple weeks ago. So she she was there all during all the stuff going on in the Middle East and there was no issues whatsoever. She it she said it was just incredible. We'll be we'll be on a on a on a Nile ship for 3 days starting down clear down at Aswan and then and then heading north towards Cairo. Visiting sites all along the way and then going to places where hardly any people go to see mysteries and get an understanding the temple the temple uh not just the temple ceremony but the temple language will be demonstrated through hieroglyphs and and other representations. It's going to be incredible trip. And then for those that want to continue Sue and I will be going to Israel right from Egypt and we'll have a tour of of Israel which is really my my jam, I guess. I love I love I love the Middle East, but I love Israel and we'll see you know, we'll we'll just follow things and see how things go, but I'm pretty confident that by fall we're going to be uh uh be able to do that that trip as well as an extension not that you have to do it, but but if if you're out if you're there in Israel or I mean if you're there in Egypt anyway, it's just a short flight to get to Israel. And we'll have another 12 days in Israel. So we're going to be gone a long time in the fall. Yeah. And we'll love it. And we'd love to have you join us on that. So that's Legacy Tours. I'll put their link in the comment section. Uh and I'll pin it so you can check that out. And what else? What else you want to talk about? I just think that um Christ is a uniter. And when you go there with him in your heart you you love people even though we might have differences of opinion on certain things it there's no animus. It was just it was beautiful, peaceful, and wonderful. So anyway, it was a it was a great opportunity. Thanks, Rod. Please tell Rod if anybody talks to him. Scott's already texted him. >> We've been texting a little bit. And anyway, it was it was it was good. The the um discussion between Scott and Rod was interesting. And I think you're very brave to go into the shark tank. >> [laughter] >> The little fish in the big shark tank. The krill in the ocean of [clears throat and laughter] whales. >> Whales. Oh, boy.
Um one thing that will be available, but it takes a a week or well, more than that. I think two or three weeks. So each session of of this conference is is professionally videotaped. I I don't even know if I call it videotaped anymore, but it's taped. It's tapes is probably the wrong wrong word. It's recorded. And they edit, they make sure everything is good, lighting, all that. It's it's it's amazing. Well, that'll be available online through Rod Meldrum's through Book of Mormon Evidence um um website uh Firm Foundation. And you can it's not that much money, but you do have to pay some for for that ability to watch. You can And these you can go back and watch the sessions the old ones. And you can click on and see the title and you can go back to I don't know many many conferences uh when you get this access to do this. And and so if you wanted to see the debate and you weren't able you know, I'll just put the debate word in quotes air quotes. Um you can you can see it, but it'll be a few weeks before you could do that. Um but that's available and I highly highly recommend it because some of the information that you get you can't get in any other way other than these these presentations. Even on YouTube it's hard to find some of this stuff. Um one thing I I did So I'm holding up a book. I've I've talked about this before. It's it's the revised version of the triple combination of Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price. And by I said revised restored. I'm sorry. Restored. I know. I'm sorry. >> version restored version. And we met these guys that put this out. They were there. They had a booth and we bought another one. Uh these are so good, so well done. And you read them in paragraphs versus verses. But but it does have the verse number. It flows so much better. And it's back to where it it was at the time of Joseph really. So it's it's I don't know. I like it. I like it. Now I still use my old one cuz I have it all marked up and everything, but but I like reading this, and so I highly recommend that one, too, the restored version of of the of the I'll just call the triple combination, right? Yeah. So, anything else that >> Did I talk about, you know, the the painting that was painted um that President Nelson used that in the 2020 Ensign? Well, you We held up the book. Right. I don't know if I mentioned that, though. So, I mean, you've probably seen it before. Actually, I'm covering the hand. Sorry. You've probably seen it before, but anyway, it was used in the 2020 Ensign. Um President Nelson asked him for permission to use that print. So, it's it's very well known. And um that book has a story. He's coming out with a new book um I don't know if that book has his whole story. I I'm But I think his new book will have everything in it. The other one I really enjoyed was the Pickerings. Oh, absolutely. >> That was such a good one. I'm just I mean >> Yeah, F. Farrell Pickering and his timeline. >> of the first ones we watched, and and the >> His timeline. the timeline for really the Second Coming of the Savior and all the events and and when it happens. And his mathematical um brain >> Brilliant guy. put it together, and you know, it's probably 2030, 2031. You know, when you say 2030, you're like, "Oh, that's so far off." This is 2026. I can hang on for 5 more years. Uh well, Can't you? I guess. Hon, I can. I can. No, I'm I'm looking forward to to all these crazy events. We have We have things going on right now uh with uh the US and and Israel and Iran and the Straits of Hormuz and gas prices. We have all these things, and let not your heart be troubled. These are all prophesied. We're going to be fine. We're we we have faith in the Lord Jesus, and he will come when we need him to come. And so, we we look forward to these things, not that we we wish, you know, hardships and tribulation, but we look forward to it because we know it's the it's the test before Christ comes. So, and then there was a lot of that talk, I think, in this conference, as well. So, uh more optimistic and hopeful was this conference than what you might typically hear on the news. And and uh you know, the the discussions that people have, um it was it was looking forward with faith, right, in Christ um to to deal with all the things. So, anyway.
Okay, the last thing I want to say, and I can't remember exactly um >> [snorts] >> I think it But I just want to say character isn't made in hard times. Character is revealed in hard times. >> Mhm. So, start building your character today. Um where I I can't remember. I didn't write it down, but I did write these words down. Loyalty to God above your survival, faith before life, honor above outcome, courage without illusion, and brotherhood unto death. And I think that's how we feel. We feel our our unity through Christ, and we know that through this unity that it it Well, number one, we're together. Number two, we love each other. And number three, we are all looking for Christ. And if we don't have that unity, you know, there are some sour grapes out there, and they can just suck on their sour grapes, I guess. [laughter] But I just have to say when you have that spirit of Christ in you, and you have been led by the Holy Ghost, and you feel the spirit of the Holy Ghost, like through these people, this conference, certain things that have been said and done, they're not pitting people against each other. They're not right, we're right, you're wrong. Um some people have done a lot of research in one thing, and some people have done a lot of research in another thing, but what happens is that the unity comes from from "Okay, I understand you a little bit better. I understand you. I might not agree totally with what you're saying about maybe, you know, Mesoamerica compared to the heartland." That was a small That was minute. That was minute in the conference, in my opinion. At least with the classes that we took, the things that we were able to listen to, the people we were able to meet, the people are genuine and incredible, and we have many many many great friends. And so, I just want to thank these wonderful people. I don't know if they'll ever hear of my thanks, but I just want to put my vibration out there in the universe that I thank these people for their hard work and their testimonies and and our unity and the gathering that we felt. It was It was really amazing. So, if you um attended the conference, you have a comment, please comment on on this channel. We'd love it. We'd love to hear your comments. If you didn't attend, but have have something to say, we would love to have you uh comment. And and whether you agree or not, we just really appreciate it. And and like and share the videos. It's It's really helpful for us. So, um So, what's the outcome when you disagree with somebody, and you're so negative towards somebody? What's the outcome of it? It poisons your soul. It doesn't help convert them. It poisons your own soul. And so, I don't know. I just felt like I needed to say that at the end. All right. We'll end on that. God bless. We'll talk to you soon. Love you all. >> Keep your testimony strong in Jesus Christ. Bye-bye. Bye.
