You are the first person in their life other than God that has been extremely loyal, extremely caring to this person. And despite the way they have treated you, you have continued to be kind. You have continued to be gracious. You have continued to pray for them.
Not one time did you hold back your prayers because of how you felt emotionally. In fact, you are so emotionally mature. You have so much self-control that you understood that this individual was fighting a battle that is beyond the physical. You understood that their mind and their spirit was under affliction. And God also told you that this individual was fighting deep, dark battles.
And due to this, you did not let pride get in the way. You continued to cover this person. You continued to love them. This person truly misses you. And that's why they were crying. And the other reason why they were crying is because they can't believe that they have found someone like you.
