Transiting Venus to natal Pluto

Truth In Aspect Astrology/ Jewel39:35

Transcription

So we're looking at Venus Pluto transits today, and these are very temporary. But, um, we know that Venus is very much responsible, and the Sun, uh, for the beginnings of new relationships or the possibility of new relationships. And if we're in an existing relationship, how we will interact in that particular relationship, and is there a new cycle of something that is beginning? Um, what is going on in terms of, uh, the themes of Venus connected to whatever planet? So we're looking at passion, we are looking at, uh, control, we're looking at insecurity. When we're looking at Venus Pluto transits, we are looking at how we solve conflicts and problems, and how we will assert our power or use our power in order to possibly control something or keep something so we can avoid fear, avoid that feeling of being out of control. Uh, these do bring up very intense emotions, and the ways in which we relate to people can be complex.

So looking at the conjunction, we are in a mood because we always have to remember the transits are showing us the kind of frequency that we are temporarily or if it's a long-term transit or a long-term way influenced by, because our our frequency is everything. What it is that we're putting out there, what it is that we're exporting has very much to do, it's not everything to do with what it is that we're getting back, what it is that we're receiving. So we are in a mood, we're in a frequency of intensity, on the hunt, with a peak experience. We have the need to connect in, uh, a way that allows us to merge, uh, implanting at this moment. So we're, it's a, we're starting a new cycle, it's a conjunction, sowing the seeds of deeper connection, passion, relatedness, how we can merge, have that experience of merging, um, hopefully without too much, uh, complication.

We may, uh, struggle with Venus Pluto contacts. Here we are looking to have something take us over, in a sense, or possess us, be possessed by something, or possess itself, or ourselves possessed with the conjunction. So we, because it's a conjunction, we are not fully aware of what it is that we are doing, what it is that we are projecting. So I have to be willing to look at what it is that we are sowing, what it is that we're planting at that time. And this is, want to look at, uh, to see what it is that's going on in your life when you have this particular conjunction. What is it that, um, you are seeking in terms of possibly escaping yourself, you're a passionate experience, or an experience of merging, or looking for, um, something outside of ourselves? This is where we can be dealing with more of a cycle of letting go, of letting go of control, of of understanding that we don't have anybody. We, we never have anybody, doesn't even matter if we have a legal contract with them, never have them.

So this is a very quick transit, you know, we have a peak day, um, but we can be setting ourselves up for attachments to people, beginning a relationship with somebody where a lot of these undercurrent dynamics will play out over the course of that relationship. And we have that opportunity, you know, to start platonic relationships at a few, uh, meetings of Venus and Pluto. But, um, if we do begin something under this particular conjunction, it's very difficult to understand why we are attached or fascinated or obsessed. There is something, uh, repressed or unknown or unintegrated within ourselves that we are looking for outside of ourselves. See that in that person, person is going to bring that to us, they, they give us that sense of wholeness that we've been looking for. So we want that person so we can have that, you know, that slice of self that only comes through relationship with that person, having that person. So it can be very, very difficult to allow that person their space of freedom, the right to choose, the right to desire what they desire, even if that's not us. Um, it could be very hard to let go of the promise of wholeness, happiness, satisfaction. That's ultimately what those two things mean, right? Means include, you know, deep, deep, deep satisfaction, that sense of, you know, being able to rest, or you've had enough, or you're finally, you've reached a satiation point. Uh, it's often illusion, it's just something that we're continually looking for, but often find if we have that insatiable hunger, we don't recognize, uh, we don't do our own work, just look outside of ourselves to feed, feed off somebody else, or somebody else's energy, or what it is they bring to us.

There's going to be a processing that can begin under this particular conjunction. I may not understand. So we have to be careful about how we use our power in relationships that are already ongoing because you can't feel justified in some of our tactics that, uh, are actually designed to put us in a place of security. They may not, um, a loving place, uh, they may not be coming from a loving place or behaviors and actions, but at the time, it very much seems justified. Venus Pluto can do that to us, Moon Pluto too, because we're dealing with a period of insecurity in a relationship, or being in a mood of insecurity, or a frequency of insecurity, when we attract a new relationship to us, being particularly defensive rather than more open, revealing. So we're lacking that vulnerability in the existing relationship that, you know, can bring us the actual results that we're looking for. With the Venus Pluto combinations, you know, in their best, their their best expression, we do have that, uh, you know, that trust, that vulnerability, attraction that really, really does come from merging, and for the right reasons, and in the right ways, and in the right, I mean, say the the right amounts, uh, so we don't get clingy.

So that's, uh, bringing us to the sextile between Venus and Pluto. So we know the sextiles are more about cooperation and about, uh, you know, being willing to share and having input, to be something in put from outside sources, especially from community sources or from friends, work things that are more, um, you know, we would find more in the immediacy of our environment. The input from those types of relationships or people, it's very much what we're seeking those types of connections, um, or, you know, is seeking a greater experience or more, more intense experience through more common connection. So it's not something that is limited to, uh, relationships that only offer us feelings. It's not limited to romantic relationships, relationships we already may be struggling in, relationships that can, um, you know, already be plutonic. This is actually a, a transit that has us bringing up the best in other people in terms of revelation. So with the conjunction of the other hard aspects, we actually might be bringing out the worst in people, so we can see what's there. A lot of the worst of us is brought out, uh, it's reflective. But with the sextile, we are interested in lancing a boil for the right reasons and in the right ways. Are very effective when it comes to our use of our personal power. So what we can bring out into people, how we use our power brings out more of the best in people when it comes to their ability to feel something or share something, or to relieve themselves of something, to let go of something. So we are not satisfied at the surface.

And we have the sextile from Venus to Pluto, and we will approach problems, we will approach, um, what is unsolved or mysteries. You know, Pluto is mysteries, uh, it's what festers, it's what's underneath. We, we approach all of that in a very straightforward, brave way, and we're just like, all right, let's just lance this and see what's happening here, and and move on. So there's a, there's a bravery, there's a straightforwardness that we are approaching problems with. Uh, you know, Pluto and its best, one of its best expressions is the solving of deep problems, of, um, ongoing problems, of persistent problems, problems that we will often have to do some digging to find the root of. It takes an amount of energy to do that. So we have the willingness to expand energy to investigate things or fix things in a deeper way than we normally would, because remember with Pluto, that's often why we avoid solving problems, we avoid solving deep problems, it's going to take something out of us. We are going to have to dedicate a certain amount of energy and focus to fixing that thing, and unless the flashing red lights on the dashboard of our life, a lot of times we won't. That's why our easy, our our hard aspects will persist, persist, persist, persist, you know, maybe this this character flaw that we continue to be able to get away with, but it's still something that if we really look at it, we may examine. We may have these aha moments at the sextile or the trine. That little thing that thing we keep doing that way, we keep stubbing our toe, may not be where we break our leg. We tend to address, we have to address, we have to spend money on therapy for where we keep breaking our leg, but it may be where we're stubbing our toe that we don't get. So we're able to see that in ourselves, we're able to see that or pull that out in others, and then come to practical solutions when we have this particular sextile. Think a lot of it just comes to our bravery and confronting problems and our willingness to allocate personal resources, time, attention, energy, sometimes even money to fixing that particular problem in ourselves. And it, it will often express through, uh, reaching out, being willing to solve something in our environment or with somebody else. So it's a win-win with the sextile.

Oh, oh, oh, relationship. Yes, that can begin under the sextile. It can be something that's particularly transformative. It doesn't come traditionally with the problems that we associate with the conjunction or the other hard aspects when we begin a relationship. Um, we have to be careful that the relationship has staying power. Sometimes it does not, even with the sextile, with with all of the aspects, actually, of transiting Venus to Pluto, we may work through some of our reasons for having attracted that relationship. The relationship may not be forever. Often it is not. When relationships begin under Venus Pluto transits, so it could be something that has legs. With the sextile, statistically, it's not, but you have to look at it like, you know, what's going on. You have to evaluate these things individually. This is probably the most common transit of Venus to Pluto to have a successful or long-lasting relationship develop, uh, with the least amount of complication and psychology weaved into it. But, you know, all in all, this is, this is a good transit in terms of being able to bring things to the surface that we really do need to address, real in a real way, and being successful with that.

All righty, back to Venus for Pluto. This is also one that is going to, uh, have is looking for a peak experience or some kind of intense encounter, and we can be driven very, very subconsciously by that, um, because on some level, we're looking for an eruption. Because what is eruption lead to? Healing, change. Pluto is about change, it's about deep transformations, deep adjustments that we have the opportunity to make when inner planets come and kiss them. So we are dealing with some changes that are going on within relationships, and it could be, it is a relationship that we have a lot of security attached to. So we can be feeling very nervous around this period of time because we have to accommodate reality, and the reality is we don't have anybody. So we have to allow for others to choose, or the other that we are very much wanting something from on some level, even if we're Frank Zappa and we are the freest, most Uranian person in the world, none of us are perfect. All of us are going to be struggling on some level with securities or insecurities. So to the degree that it exists in you, for some of us, it can be more or less. We can be fearful of these changes that have to be made at this time. So this is when if you have attachment issues, it is very possible where at the hard aspects, particularly the square, you could freak out and you can pull away, or you can become needy. This can be a period of time where we have a rupture or a repair. We can also have a séance of a relationship occur, and it doesn't mean that it won't come around again, but, uh, we don't have the kind of security that we need at this point. So we have to manage our emotions, our own feelings. We're going to have to take care of ourselves to some degree. There's a reaching outside and a grasping to keep or have that security remain in place where you really just have to kind of breathe and say, all right, whatever happens happens. It's inevitable, the kind of changes that need to be made. And these don't have to be massive changes either. These can be, uh, things that have been building up for a time. You say, a, yeah, say something who's always stayed home. So somebody's been a house husband or housewife, and we've come to rely on having that amount of support and input, and that's our routine, and that person decides that they want to expand the world, or they want to go back to work, or they want to pick up school again. And it can be this kind of thing where it's, it's not an essential threat to the relationship, but it can feel destabilizing because we have somebody's world getting bigger, or we have our routines, uh, being shifted around in some way. Say we're somebody that's very much dependent upon what's next. So it's, there's an inevitability that we're dealing with when it comes to our growth, and we can initially grasp or demand, and that will result in more distance or more insecurity. So we don't want to get too fearful because we can become extremely unattractive at this particular time. We can have very psychologically impactful interactions occurring between us and others.

When we have the trine, we tend to digest what occurs, uh, between us and and others for a while. It gives us quite a lot of useful information and insight into ourselves. So at the sextile, we tend to reach out to analyze that and to fix, to organize, to bring solutions to people around us, or things outside of ourselves. We're very much, um, more introspective at the trine, usually as a result of having some kind of intense encounter or intense experience, or some something having come to light. So it isn't always an exclusively, it's not an easy transit in that where we won't experience some plutonic reason, usually in our own behavior, or in an exchange, or an eruption of some kind, something boiling to the surface that will bring us to this consideration, this introspection, this, this, this way that the, that what came out in us, what we saw in ourselves, what occurred, we digest it, and we gain value from it. It enriches us, and it can take months for us to absorb this and come to understand it. And so it's a very useful transit when it comes to what we will learn and what we will gain in terms of personal information, healing, and the ability to have a better result in relationships. New relationships can begin under the trine. It will be something that is more intense and plutonic. There's no guarantee that it will last. Uh, it's very common that it will run its course because we will work through some of the reasons why we were in that frequency, that mood of drawing something to us that had a plutonic reason for being. So we may work through some of the intensity, some of the issues that were more of the root causes of being in that frequency of drawing that to us. So we have to see if it's got legs. We're, we're going to have to put it to the test with the trine before we fully commit to it. It may be something that it can be healthy in the long run because we are really starting it in a mood of being more introspective, more willing to see our part in things, and to accept changes, and to not be as, uh, resistant to the things that we may need to give up, or we may need to see. So this is just one that you're going to have to evaluate on its own. But if it does come up for you, there's a very good chance that a new relationship will be something that we will work through as we work through some of our own issues. Um, so yeah, it does actually tend to have the the strong possibility of being attracted to somebody that represents something that's unintegrated within ourselves, or something that we're looking for, you know, that we have an embody, we haven't really seen, we don't want it to be even a part of our identity, but we are looking through that outside of ourselves. Uh, that can be the case of the conjunction or the trine. So got to be careful.

So let's look at the opposition between Venus and Pluto again. We have intensity coming to the surface, and, um, if we are a bit of a hoe already, we know the Venus oppositions can contribute to that. You don't have a hoe switch, then this is going to be one that is going to have you having some intense cravings come to the surface. So we know Venus oppositions, yes, a certain, yeah, sometimes just on, uh, oppositions in general, and put us in a position where we may not have the discretion that we usually have. We're only half aware, many times, that the opposition. So oppositions also have this quality of enemy, and we may not realize how we are attracting or acting in a way that can result in being seen that we have been our own worst enemy. So we don't have patience that we associate with the easy aspects, and with Venus, there's an urgency. Not Mars too, there's an urgency as well. In transits, Venus can be something that leads us for an urgency for relationship, an urgency to express ourselves through whatever Venus is fantastic too. So our cravings, our libido will get warning under the opposition in a way that is more unusual. We've seen that with Venus opposition to other planets too. It's not exclusive to Pluto, but it is something that if you don't realize that, um, that there's a, yeah, sort of a compulsive undercurrent that is going on with us. Some people can't get into relationships where they feel like it's very kinky, or that it's, um, you know, something they've been drawn to out of a soul connection, because there is a sort of half-baked understanding of what it is that we're being drawn to and why. Our cravings are very much driving us at this time. For most people, we're not going to call her out of the lines in a really dangerous way. Um, there can be those of us who already lack self-control, where or maybe we're even having a transit that is sort of letting a Jack in the Box out. It can be a transit that can trigger behavior, or engaging in relationships where we have not properly evaluated the consequences, or the person, or what it is that we're really getting into, or attracting, or wanting. And it can start off an obsession that can also start with a conjunction too. This is something that we can, we can see the seeding of an, and the opposition as well can have how that results. Uh, so you need to be careful, um, about who it is that we are deciding to entertain, because it can actually be something that is very destructive to us. We can also be very unconsciously destructive in general in ongoing relationships. There's a more of a force when it comes to demanding that our needs be met, or that, uh, we get some of what we want in our relationships. Our selfishness can be, uh, very much at the core of some confrontations, and we have to look at, um, how much are we giving and receiving. So we are dealing with tensions, we're dealing with conflict, and we can often be feeling like we're at the end of our rope, or we've put up with things long enough, or we've had resentments building, we've had reasons to feel slighted, and then this can be the day or the week that the straw breaks the camel's back. So we have to look at, um, what is it that we're really being driven by in terms of how we approach people? What are we asking for people from people? There can often be a better way rather than being more reactive or demanding or insistent, more intense, because that will bring us largely the reaction that we're not looking for. If we can spend some time really identifying what it is that we want, uh, rather than more just giving into our gut feelings, just more looking at our gut feelings, okay, what is this? What is this telling me? What is this a signal of? So we can gain some objectivity. Uh, we can approach people in such a way, but we actually can find a deeper satisfaction for both of us. This can be a very successful transit to have, but you have to use it wisely. We can mess up, actually, um, pretty frequently with the opposition, uh, if we're not looking at root causes, if we are just reactive, if we're just trying to get our more surface needs met instead of really again looking at what is this more surface too? We can have a lot of our insecurities rising up and acting on those, and then getting more of an insecure, um, or distancing reaction from people. So we're actually looking for intimacy, we're looking for merging, we're looking for closeness, or looking for the security that comes from being very much on the same wavelength. With Venus Pluto stuff, we have some issues getting in the way of that, um, and often those issues are going to be created by our initial demand.

All right, so opening for questions.
