MSN is one of the top players in the whole game. Sitting at around 2100 ELO and commonly beating the best players in the world. He is one of the only guys that are using one PC Avisit at this level and being successful with it. So why exactly is Avisit considered a bad civilization at the top level? The reason is that most of their bonuses are perfect for multiple TC plays like cheaper villagers, cheaper TCs, the golden age, cheaper farms, etc. But we are currently in a very fast-paced meta where aggression with knights and fast castling are king. There are strategies that completely wrecked multiple disease in most maps. However, MSN took the Avisits, an economic civilization, and turned it into one of the most dangerous feudal aggressions in the game. Here's how he did it. By the way, he mentioned he was initially inspired by another highly rated player named the dragon. So, credit where credit is due. Oh, and also you can get coaching from MSN himself if you are interested. He is an excellent teacher and all you have to do is text him through his discord. I'll leave his links down below.
"There's basically two styles you can play this opposite one CC. You can do the principled way where like you get eco brace, you go for correct unit composition, you don't rely on surprise elements and then you got like MSN style which is cool. Cooler. Yeah. Which does the opposite of that. You get zero upgrades. You hide your units and you spam the [ __ ] out of them."
"Zero upgrades."
"Yeah. Um well obviously like fresh food starts and and that is."
"The reason why abset is good is primarily because of golden age. You get all of your uh eco bonuses. This is equivalent to all of your eco upgrades in one. You get it for free and you can get it at like 530 which you will be see me getting it at. Another big part is that you get um four mil units straight off the bat which kind of forces him into archers ideally, right? Cuz archer is spearman. You want archers against that and so you have a really transition really easy transition into horsemen. Another big thing is that you don't have to research siege engineering rams which is obviously strong for any feudal all-in. You get boot camp 15%. It's nice. It's not huge or anything. It's it's just nice to have up. Another big thing and one [music] thing I think people look look over a lot of the times is that you don't age up the villagers. you get a a matching timing with the H up, but you've basically got four more builds for 2 minutes, which is huge cuz that allows you to do like a a big batch of production. Not a lot of SS can do that. Build two productions straight off the bat when they age up plus three stars. Another big thing, if you're going to do the MSN way, always archer range in the front cuz that's what they're going to scout next to the house wisdom cuz they're going to scout has wisdom, then they see the archer range and they think, "Oh, um, [music] I need even more archers or stable." I don't need spears. Spears would be counterintuitive. That's why we have the stable in the back, right? 99% of players will move out if they don't see horsemen and they don't suspect it. I show them my army. I show them how weak I am, how little I am. I'm going to put I'm going to scout this. I'm going to push. I'm going to let a scout see my big big army. Oh. Oh, I'm taking a fight. And bam. Awesome. GG. Uh whether to what SIS to do it against. I would do it against every Sith except French, JD, maybe Mongols. if you just rely on execution and that you know hiding of horsemen which I think should be the key."
"Okay guys, so here we're going to analyze the first game that I have for you uh guys today. U here in blue it is this is MSN and he's playing against a really highly rated uh opponent. I think this is 18 or 1900 IO and we're going to see exactly what MSN does uh with the Avisid dynasty uh to go against one of the strongest stabilizations in the game right now which is the Ottomans. Why are they so strong? They're so strong because they have the best units in the game. So the Zahi, they have the Mectar which buffs all of their units. Uh and they have military schools which just gives them free free units for the whole game and from the start of the game. So they are extremely safe. They can also spawn 100 sheep uh under their DC. Uh so it's 10 sheep. It's like 2k uh food that they can get. They can also spawn mims to to either get the relics really fast or to just heal their their army. So, their army is just way too strong and they can produce a lot of it really really fast. So, let's look at MSN's uh strategy here. So, he's going for the military wing and he is going to play one TC. Now, why is Abasid good at uh doing this? So, Abasid is good because right now he is going to make a lot of units. He doesn't need that much gold. So, the fact that he is getting harassed here is not going to matter that much. The only gold that he's going to need is for fresh food stuffs. Uh this upgrade right here, which allows him to produce villagers at like 25 u or 20 something um food, which is extremely nice. Now, he can use these units uh to start attacking his opponent. So, why is this one of the best tempo strategies that you can get in the game? is because it forces your opponent to go into an specific army composition to deny this. So what is good against this? If you go for knights, let's say you're playing French or horsemen, this is not going to be good because you already have two spearman here. So to defend this gold mine, he is going to need archers. Uh he's going for stable though. Uh this person here uh although he Okay, he's going for both a stable and archer range. So, this archery range is going to be able to deny these units, but he's already doing damage here by uh denying the the gold. He's also making a lot of u uh idle time here. Not that much actually. Uh, but he's forcing the opponent to go into archers. You see here, he's already going into archers. Uh, and this pie is not going to do much because he already has two spearman here. So, really good start for MSN. Uh, right now, look at all of the units Ottoman can can produce, by the way. And because MSN started making archers, too. Uh, now he can protect his his uh his units. Now the second thing that you have to go for is for a lot of stables. Uh, and why is this? Because now uh the opponent what does the opponent know? Let's actually see the opponent's vision. The opponent's vision is actually zero at this point. Why is that? Is because MSN used this horseman to push the scout away. Uh, and I think he's actually looking for him right now. The this horseman is looking for the scout. Why is this important? Because now is doing something really interesting here. He's going for two stables. And both of these tables are being rallied here to the back. Look at look now where the rally point are where the rally point is. And he's also continuously producing archery range. So what does the opponent know at this point? The opponent knows that he went for military wing that he went for uh archery range. So he has a lot of spearman uh sorry a lot of archers and two spearmen here. So he is forced to go into a lot of archers um and Spearman himself. So right now he doesn't know about this. He doesn't know that there's a lot of horsemen at the back of MSN's base. Uh, and so he only has three sipahi and he's producing spearman archer because he right now only sees the stable one stable and only sees one archery range. Uh, but he doesn't see all of this. And right now MSN, he is constantly looking for uh for the for the scout. Look at where the scout is for the opponent player. Uh, he's right here. So he doesn't see the units. Uh, right now MSN is going to see uh this raid. And what does he do? He immediately takes his cavalry and starts running away. He only shows two horsemen. He's saying, "Hey, I only have two horsemen. Don't worry. Uh, I only have one stable. Uh, this table is hidden, by the way." and he's still producing uh to the back of his base, I think. Yeah, there it is. Uh, I just hope he doesn't get seen by this scout over here. Although he does see it with this um with this horseman right here, I think. Yeah, he does. So, what does he do immediately? He runs away. So, he's constantly hiding this ball of horsemen. His opponent doesn't know that he has a lot of horsemen. He only has seen uh two horsemen and a lot of archers. So the response from him is going to be spearman and archers. There there's his his bowl of archers and not much uh the tipahi that he's producing uh I think only have come from from this actually he's producing archers from the from the from the from the military school and he's producing a few here and there but not that much and he is making sure that a horseman is always looking at the scout because that is what he wants to show. Uh, he keeps his infantry here uh defending his gold and he's saying, "Hey, I only I still only have two horsemen. Don't worry about it, man." So yeah, let's let's keep continuing what he says. So right now, what happens? His opponent thinks that he is safe. But if you see the military count, he has 22 horsemen at this point. Uh, and he's moving out with uh seven spearmen and 15 archers. uh because he has only seen 13 archers, one camel archer and two horsemen and the two spearmen from the from the beginning. So MSN has been constantly producing archers from this. That is good. Uh, but he has also been hiding all of these horsemen here on the back. So now his opponent is feeling confident that he can go out and start attacking the opponent's base, the MSN's base. Uh, but all of the work that MSN has done to deny vision from his opponent has paid off and now the trap begins. and he is starting to move out into into MSN's base right now. He sees only four horsemen and a few archers here. So MSN is is is saying, "Hey, come and fight me. I don't have anything." Uh, so because all of all of the work that MSN did to deny the vision and to hide his horsemen, uh, this is the reason why his opponent is starting to to attack here. Uh, he's almost 2ko opponent, by the way. So right now he says, "Okay, let's fight." Uh, but at this point now he reveals the horsemen and because his opponent's army is mainly composed of archers. He hasn't been producing that many spearman. He MSN has just enough archers to one-shot the the spearman from the Ottoman player. And now look at all of these horsemen. It doesn't matter if he if the opponent has or just a few spearman. He has already lost this game with this push. Now look at the military count. Even though the Ottoman player was mostly on par with MSN's production speed. Now he is paying the price for uh not being able to scout what MSN was doing uh and by feeling safe uh because all of the work that MSN put into hiding his units. So this is a masterful display of how how scouting is so important in this game and how you can uh take advantage of that. You can uh make sure that your opponents feel safe. you can deny the scouting like MSN just did and you can completely counter the uh units that your opponent is going to make because you know with this uh strategy with Abasid military wing your opponent has to respond with archers and if you hide horsemen then they're going to continue uh producing archers. That is what happened in this game and this is why the strategy is so strong.
Okay, now let's go into the second game. And this time he's playing against a Delhi opponent. And Delhi is really interesting because you need to play fetal age against Delhi. If you don't, they are going to get the secret sites. And if they get the secret sites, they are going to have so much uh passive income that you are just going to die. So this matchup is interesting to see because now how is Avisit 1TC futal aggression uh going to work against a civilization that specializes in Fal. So now let's see how MSN does this. So he is still going for military wings. Still the same strategy that we're talking about and his opponent is just going for the standard thing of faith. He's going to produce a lot of imams. is going to uh make all of his his upgrades and he's going to start trying to make as many units as possible to finally get his the secret type. So right now MSN just went up. Uh, he's going up with the two spearmen and two archers and he's going to start denying this gold. So denying the gold for for the deli player is important because that is how they start making imams. So he sent the two pyramid here to deny the berries and the two archers here to deny the gold. And now what I said before, what do they have to do in response? They have to make archers because if he starts making sibahi, he already has spearmen. Uh, where where the spearman actually? Yeah, they're here. Uh, and he's if he makes spearman, then he he's going to die to the archers. So the only response to the military wing is going to be archers. And yeah, that that is that is really good. And now let's see here in the back. MSN is going to go into an archer range into a barracks because he he probably expects that uh the opponent is going to go see Bahi next. Uh, and the archer range is going to uh deal with the archers as well. And then he reveals two horsemen, but the rest of the horsemen, they're going to be rallied here to the back. So exactly the same uh strategy that we were uh seeing before. So he just reveals two horsemen, only two horsemen. So the opponent starts making spearman. He's actually going into into barracks here as you can see. uh and into stable. So, they're both 111. Uh, and he's not going to show more than two horsemen because if he does, then he's going to stop producing archers and he doesn't want that. He is already going into archers as well. And Spearman, MSN is uh and he's using just these two horsemen to keep denying the berries, keep denying the the food, and he's he's funneling his opponent into the composition into the army composition that he wants. Uh, so, yeah, he just keeps producing uh horsemen here in the back, and he's producing some camel archers. uh so he can uh debuff the the uh the gas raiders and uh some spearman so he can also deal with the with the gas raiders as well. But here he sees that he's got a lot of spearman. Uh, he sees that he's got a lot of archers too, but he doesn't see the the horsemen yet. Uh, he is going here just in case. I think this is a good play because uh the opponent has stables, right? So, uh, Eison could get raided here at any point, and if he does, he will have the horsemen here to defend. And he's still making sure that the opponent does not see him. Take a look at where his scout is. Uh, the opponent's scout is here. He's watching the main army from MSN. Uh, so the two horsemen, the spearman, the archers, but he's not watching at what he's doing here in the back. So, right now, MSN's plan is starting to uh take fruit. So, he's still producing horsemen. He's going into a second stable. Uh, and he's constantly producing horsemen. He's going now into a blacksmith. so he can get all the upgrades he needs. And now the opponent feels safe. Why does he feel safe? Because he is only seeing these spearmen, these archers, and he says, "Okay, I have more than enough units to deal with that. So, let's go. Uh, I feel completely safe." So, MSN is now probably going to go back because he doesn't have enough units here uh to defend this. Uh, so as you know here, uh, you can probably start attacking some of these spearmint as you go back. uh and his opponent feels completely safe because MSN has been hiding his horsemen this whole time. Uh, so right now he's saying, "Oh, I am winning this fight." Uh, but then when the horsemen are revealed, look at all of these horsemen that have just been revealed. The army composition from the opponent is not correct because he has a lot of archers. He has a lot of spearmen and he doesn't have enough gassy to deal with the with the with the horsemen. Uh, and he completely wipes him off the map uh with his uh horsemen. uh production. So right now this is already GG because uh losing this many units at this level means that you are not going to be able to defend your base. Uh, and yeah, this strategy is not just that strong.
Okay guys, so we just saw MSN beat up two unknown players which uh yes they are really high rated but they are unknown. So I'm pretty sure some people are going to say okay what's that about? So now we've got MSN with Avisid going up against Cor Corbinus um using the OTD and he's going for a dark age spearman rush which is pretty interesting. I actually like this from OTD. This was one of the the first strategies that uh people started doing because these guilded spearman are [ __ ] strong man. They hit hard and they have a ton of HP. So if he gets here and start attacking these villagers actually look at what MSN is doing. He's gathering the the berries that are on the front side of of the of the mail. So, he's not gathering the ones that are close. He's gathering these ones. And why is he doing that? Because he I think he already saw Yeah, he saw the the barracks and he also saw the spearman going coming through here. Uh, so, he's probably going to pull back his villagers once he's he's got 100. Uh, which is uh just fine. And if he gets another spearman here, uh he can start gathering the berries that are on the closest side uh like he is doing now. And that way uh if the spearman tries to come in uh he's going to get poked by the TC. Uh, so pretty smart. Look at how these are already gathered up. Really good. Uh, this guy is going to stay here because he needs to deny mining. So uh MSN is probably not going to have enough gold to get fresh food stuffs or to get the fertile sorry not not that boot camp. Uh, which is the plus 15% HP for all melee infantry or just uh infantry in general. And now let's see what he does with his hopup. So he doesn't have a house yet. Uh, there we go. And now the units pop up. They he gets a stable. He puts it on the front. Uh, so this time he's not trying to hide it. Or at least he's only trying to hide one. Uh, but right now he is going towards Corbin's base. He's gathering a lot of stone. I wonder what he's going to do with this much stone. I probably he's he he has this many villagers because he knows that uh the military wing from the opposite player is coming. Uh, so he wanted to get this stone out of the way and then he's going to gather the wood that he needs for his second TC. I wonder where he's going to put it though cuz you would like to have a second TC on the on the deer packs. Uh, because OTD runs out of food extremely quickly. Uh, but is on top of that. He is uh obviously he knows this as well. He wants to uh make sure that he doesn't put the second TC here and he started uh producing the horsemen. Right now, this guy is still being really annoying, but MSN already has an archer range, so he is going to be able to deal with that. Look at MSN's positioning of his units. He is blocking every single food source in the map because he knows that OTD is very food hungry. Uh, so this is extremely interesting. Let's see what he's doing with his. So I I think he's not hiding the Hordman in this game because he doesn't need to. Uh, his opponent is going to DC. All he needs to do is deny food. And Corbinus is probably going to have to make some farms extremely early. Uh, take a look at this. This is extremely cool. He's having I I would be scared shitless to do this by the way to uh leave a few units like this because I I never would know when a horseman is going to come here and erase all of my archers. But MSN knows what he's doing. He I don't think he has scouted the stable yet actually. Uh, he actually gets the good discrimin over there. And Corvos is being really greedy. He's trying to get I'm not sure what he's trying to get gold for. Uh, but but now uh pro MSN definitely now knows about the horsemen because he sees it there. Uh, he got he gets two villagers I think uh for that. And like I said before, Corbinos now needs to make farms because MSN is doing such a great job of denying all of these deer, all of the food sources, even the berries. That was pretty interesting. So, Corbinos now has to make a ton of farms. This already looks really grim for for him. And he's going into these other sources. He has a horseman here defending. Um, always do this if you have map control like uh MSM has got here. Look at the amount of units he has. Holy fudge. Uh, if you have map control, go into the other other food sources. Uh, if you have a board like this board is really close, but he's have a so he cannot take it. Uh, but if you're able to take it and you have map control, then go for it with SS such as Roose or French or whatnot. So yeah, like I said, he the denying continues. He get one unit there at denying Corbinus. It seems like he's trying to hide these units uh from raiding. I don't know where he's taking them. Uh, or at least no, he's just defending these berries. This looks really bad for Corbin. Uh, I would like to see what the resources per minute are. Look at this. Even though Corbinus is 2TC, he is less than 1,200. Uh, and MSN is okay. They're they're pretty even. I think Yeah, I think they're pretty even. Corbinus is getting ahead. And he got a little bit of space to make some uh walls here, but look at the army difference. Uh, yeah, I don't think that's going to work. He tried to go into that. Uh, but he's also getting berries over here, which is extremely nice. All of MSN's uh archers are here and he has never stopped uh making units. Here is the key. So, he is still making so many horsemen. And when uh Corpinas's horsemen get baited by the archers, then he reveals them. And look at how all of these uh gilded horsemen, which are extremely expensive, get cocked by the horsemen surprise attack of MSN. So, extremely nice done. Nicely done. So this is uh kind of a a different version of what we saw in the previous two games where he shows that he has a lot of forcemen uh right already because he needs to he needs them to deny the food sources. Uh, but then he keeps rallying them to these uh exposed resources and only reveals them whenever uh his opponent is very exposed like he was there with uh uh with his guilded horseman. And now it is time to dive it. There are 36 horsemen. I think 28 here and three more uh and 36 in total. So Corbinos has to run away uh from all sides. And I I think maybe the pathing is is playing tricks with me here. Look at how tanky this guided villager. Sorry. Imagine if he had uh Oh, he Yeah, he's got getting textiles now, but I think it's too late. Imagine if he had textiles. So all all of the resources that uh he has already killed 11 villagers in this dive, but Eison is losing a lot of units doing this. He had all of his upgrades, I think. Yeah, he has plus one ranged armor. Uh, and all of his archers are targeting the archers. The horsemen are targeting the villagers. And yeah, uh, there's a lot of dead villagers, but I mean, there there's still two TCs. Uh, there's a lot of idle time, but MSN did lose a lot of his units. I wonder what he's going to do after this. Uh, he's nowhere near aging up. He's floating a lot of wood. I wonder what he's going to do with that, but there's still a stream of units coming. But the main bulk of MSN's army is completely dead. Corbinos only has one horsemen and one archer and a load of uh villagers walking around. So this was really interesting. But I wonder what MSN is going to do now because Corbinus already has farms. He finally gets into this. It is not wob ups yet. Uh, and I wonder if MSN is going to go for an Asia or is he going to continue uh just getting all of these food sources and getting he's getting farms right now. Uh, because all of the berries and all of the stuff is is about to run out. Uh, these are the only last two sources. This they are already ran out and I guess he is going to keep raiding. Uh, he knows that Corbinos is back here getting the air because he's already seen it with the scallop. Uh, but Corbinos doesn't have any units whatsoever. only one archer and one horseman still. His economy was hit pretty hard. And now his villagers, I think they do have textiles now. They have 100 freaking HP, which is a lot. And Corbinus did end up uh fixing all of this. He gets a ramp, which is pretty cool because he doesn't need blacksmith to upgrade it. That is also one of the things that makes Abasid so good at uh making pressure in the fage. They don't need to research this thing. They only need to research the other upgrades. So right now, Corbinos is to fall back once again. Uh, he has a lot of food income at the time. Uh, but I think this number is going to run down a little bit. And if you can see, holy [ __ ] he's 17,000 1,700 uh foot per minute and 700 uh wood per minute. He doesn't need gold because he doesn't has doesn't have gold units uh in the futal age. So he's not mining gold at all after he researched all of the upgrades that he needed. He's only mining food of wood. Look at the amount of resources that he is above Corbin is because he is constantly uh making sure that he does not take any of the other resources. He has not gotten a single ounce of gold and now he has recuperated his army once again. He has not he it doesn't seem like he wants to get into the castle age right now. He's just making units. 2k foot per minute at the 17 minute mark in feudal age still. This is extremely interesting. So right now let's see what he's going to do. Oh holy [ __ ] 16 archers is what you need to one-shot one gilded villager with textiles. That is pretty interesting. So, he doesn't have vision, right? This is why uh these archers cannot attack uh the villagers. So, the what he's doing is he goes around with the horsemen and tries to get vision and then uh the archers going to shoot over the woodline. So, Corvvis is moving his army to match the movements of MSM's army. Uh, but right now, it seems like there's way too many units, man. 30 archers, 27 horsemen, one camel lancer, one one camel archer, sorry, that can uh debuff the horsemen of of Corbinus. Uh, and every every bit of space he gets, he uses to make wolves and to get back into the deer, which is uh kind of cool. Uh, he tries to get some gold, too, but that's not going to work. Uh, and there comes the dive again now with a battering ram uh that I wonder what he's using for. Uh, I would probably use it to get rid of these uh production buildings in the meantime while my arm is uh is fighting. Yeah, there's way too many archers. Uh, they can target the guilded spearman pretty easily. Uh, these forman are probably going to die because they're not being microed uh correctly. But right now, even though he's diving under two DCs, look at the amount of units that MSN has. uh he is microwing uh two groups of horsemen, one in the front and one in the back, getting the the guilded horsemen of uh Corbinus. While the archers are constantly targeting the spearman and the archer. So now that there's no front line, there are absolutely zero units out for uh Corbinos. I don't know where that archer might be uh or that horsemen, but oh yeah, it is here. And now there's even more units coming. And that spells out the end of the game. So yeah, I think opposite 1TC is not that bad.
