So, the fact that you called that last week just just just from your pure ball skill knowledge, you know, like I love it, man. You know, ball. That's all I got to say.
Appreciate it. And I'll say this, we got some awesome questions this week. I can tell you that all of the viewers and the listeners know ball. I can't wait to unleash. I think we have nine video questions here today. They are fantastic. Again, we'll try to uncover a few more underrated assets for you to win the long game in your fantasy championship. Those buys and sells will be at the end of the show. But first, again, it's all about the viewers, the video questions. We'll kick things off here with Jordan Nelson.
I am in a uh 14 team dynasty league half PPPR. I currently have as my top five wide receivers a Bua, Manki, Pickkins, Worthy, and Tory Horton. Uh I also have at running back James Cook, Amaran Hampton, uh Zack Charmin, and Oi Gordon. So lot thinner at running back. Um, with Hampton's injury, uh, and just my general running back, um, my lack of depth there, I'm thinking about flipping one of the wide receivers for a running back. I think the most available is Cam Scataboo. Uh, maybe Trey Van Henderson's available, but probably Scataboo. So, I'm wondering if I should trade one of Worthy, Munki, or Pickkins for Scataboo. Um, and if so, which one would you trade? Thanks very much. Appreciate it.
Forz, I almost want to take this from both a reddraft question and a dynasty question. I'll let you decide which side you want to go with.
Okay, let's let's start with Dynasty. He asked for the Dynasty side of this. Let's let's let's roll with that. Simply put, I'm not doing this trade. Um, you know, these wide receivers are just worth way more in Dynasty than Cam Scataboo. I I love Scataboo coming in, right? But but the time to get him as a value was during rookie drafts, right? And and you know, you you'll find a theme with my rookie draft content personally, like you know, we identify those guys you can get at a discount in rookie drafts like Scataboo and then they get day three draft capital, you know, and and that might not be as much of an issue early on, right? But they they gain value and I like Scataboo, but once the season's over, he becomes a risky asset, right? And I tend to move on from assets like that in Dynasty. This is coming from someone who has who has Scatabo as one of his favorite running back talents at the position in this draft class. Now, can he work out like can he turn to someone who is an outlier because of the talent? I think so. But in my opinion, like we shouldn't assume that because a guy seems to be talented that a team when they don't invest much in him will not move on from him. Like look at his teammate. Like it's on the same team that like Tyrone Tracy, it happened last year. He was another guy we identified last year during the draft cycle as someone we must draft. Uh, but look what happened this year. So, you know, if I'm making this deal, like I need more in Dynasty. But also, if I'm only making this a deal like this, if you're uh a team that is looking to compete, like I like maybe your team is competing this year, but at first glance based on the guys that you mentioned, it doesn't seem like you are. Now, this is a 14 team league, so maybe you are. I could be wrong, but if I'm making the deal in, you know, in addition, give me some picks, you know, give me another wide receiver back because young wide receivers are the cornerstone of most dynasty rosters.
And he has a cornerstone. I mean, the lad maki, George Pickkins, Ibuka, Xavier Worthy, James Cook, Omar Hampton, Jane Daniels core for dynasty roster in a 14 team league is fantastic. I I wouldn't change any of that. Now, if we just look at it for this season, I would immediately move Vlad Makoni for Cam Scataboo. Now, we're going to get a whole bunch of questions and we have more about, you know, the Eagles and the Giants and they play tonight and many of you will be watching this actually on Friday or Saturday after they've already played. So, keep that in mind. But we also got questions about George Pickkins quite often. He's been the wide receiver four from weeks two through five. I know that some people feel that he's only producing because CD Lamb is out. To me, that is blasphemous. Like, week one was, I think, the outlier performance of the season because of the type of defense that Vic Fangio plays and also facing Quinan Mitchell on the vast majority of those snaps. And so, when Xavier Worthy, who went out in week one, his last two weeks, he's been around wide receiver 18 and wide receiver 46. Unfortunately, Lad is the one who's wide receiver 60 from weeks two through five. Now, that's not to say that you should be l moving Lad Manki in in dynasty leagues because to me, he's still like a top 15 talent at wide receiver just across the league and he's attached to Justin Herbert. So, what if this is Keen Allen's last year? What if Quinton Johnson doesn't play as well as he did, you know, next season? What if their offensive line actually stays healthy or they don't lose, you know, all three pieces and only lose one? Then Matt McCunki is sitting here as again a top 15 asset at the wide receiver spot. So yes, if this was reddraft, move lad for scataboo. Since it's not, since it's dynasty, since it's a long game, you have to keep all three of these wide receivers.
100%. In a reddraft sense, like if you can move lad maki for a scataboo right now, scatter plays tonight. And you know, some people might be worried with Tyrone Tracy coming back. Like there's a huge range of outcomes here. Like I would be lying if I told you what will happen going forward, right? Tyrone Tracy can very well be involved, but to take a shot at a running back who could end up being the primary back here, who I think is the more well-rounded running back and someone who's just earning targets, you know, left and right over the last few weeks, uh, I would try and make this move, if I can move for him in reddraft.
Our second Cam Scatoo question comes from across the pond. We stay international here for Oz. This is Araf.
Hey guys, sniping London trade proposals. I want to get Dvonte Adams and I want to give up Cam Scout and Jaylen Warren. What are your thoughts?
Faz, this might be one of the most loaded teams I've ever seen. Uh, I think he's just bragging at this point. On his roster, he has the likes of CMC, George Pickkins, Javvante Williams, Roma Dunce about to get Rashi Rice back. To me, this is an instant yes, though. Just Cam Scataboo and Jaylen Warren and getting Dvonte Adams in return. This might be the easiest question we answer all day.
100%. First of all, I want to say like first of all, he had somebody recording that video, right? Like I want to just someone was holding.
One friend at least. Yes.
One friend holding the video and then he staged a car coming in the back just so that we know that he's from London. Like I I love it. Like Arif, like appreciate that, man. Like this is real international love here. Um but yeah, like I I agree. Like listen, Scatterbo plays tonight, so you have like like a couple hours to move him, right? But I I think the point remains like you have so much depth at running back. Um, and while I hate giving up so much running back depth, like you still have CMC, still have Javvante, you still have Kenneth Walker. Um, now if you upgrade one of these flex bots to Devonte Adams and then you I'm just looking at this roster, dude. Raj Rice and Romania, too. Like it's just absolutely loaded. I would just ask for the trophy now. Like there's no point of continuing to play uh with your league mates, man. Just just ask for the trophy, ask for the money, and get it over with.
I have quite a bit of Jaylen Warren notes, but actually our next question includes Jaylen Warren. So here's Deg.
What's up, Underdog Trade Show. Uh, week six. So, I'm sure there's going to be a lot of people thinking about Rasheed Rice. Um, I've got someone offering me Rasheed Rice and M. Jones for Jaylen Wadd and Jaylen Warren. I'm kind of on the fence on this one. It is a full PPR league. I do know there's some upside there with with Rice. Um, I'm trying not to forget though that he's also coming back from injury, not just that suspension. It is a two quarterback league and I have Pery, so M. Jones would kind of give me the opportunity to not start Gino Smith anymore. Um, but yeah, would love to see what you guys think.
The bones of this trade are basically Rashi Rice for Jaylen Wadd. I'll table that for a moment. Just quickly want to speak on Jaylen Warren. Uh, I'm not saying he's a total zero from here on out for Oz, but after he missed an injury prior or missed a game due to injury prior to the by-week, I would be stunned if he holds on to the 82% of the backfield work like he was prior to that because Arthur Smith to me is going to reward Kenny Gainwell for what he did overseas. Now, the fascinating conversation is Jaylen Wadd versus Rashi Rice. Uh, I would rather count on Patrick Mahomes over to a tongue of Aloa. So, I want to take the Rashi Rice and M. Jones end of this and I would deal away Wadd and Warren. What about you?
I'm surprised you didn't want to do the more fascinating part of this trade between M. Jones versus Gino Smith. I not did you not want to go there? Like, dude, Gino Smith has been brutal lately, man. Like, not something I expected personally.
To be honest. Uh that that part of this trade does make sense to me where it can just be San Francisco quarterback on his roster cuz he has M. Jones and Brock Pury and then you can start one of those guys over Gino Smith. So just baking that into this trade makes me want to do it even more.
Yeah. No, 100%. Now, you know, he he has Josh Jacobs, he has Christian McCaffrey. So yeah, simply put, I'm more than happy to make this move for to get Rashi Rice. I I don't know if there's many trades that I've seen where Rashi Rice is on one side and I don't want to take that side. Um, but I I you know I do think Wadd has top 12 potential% but but Rashi is locked in pretty much as a top 12 guy. He has top five potential. So you know I get the injury concern like he mentioned that like but Rashi has had more time to heal from it. It'll also be interesting to see uh what if any split there is between Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell uh this week. Um, you're you're kind of getting rid of any risk that comes with that as well if you if you make this move. Now, totally agree with you that there's a chance that Wadd and Rice are both top 12 wide receivers rest of season. Jaylen Wadd gets the Jets, the Saints, the Ravens, and the Bengals defenses over the course of the next handful of games. Rashi Rice, though, also gets the Titans and the Raiders twice. So, again, to me, this is as simple as Rashi Rice, it's not just, you know, the two and a half games that he played last season. It goes back to about week 10 of his rookie year when you include the playoffs, when you include the Super Bowl. He is the focal point of that passing game and with how Patrick Mahomes is playing this year and just I mean taking his game honestly to I think a next level and having to control the entire ship and you know running the football and doing all that stuff on a weekly basis. Rashi Rice as we have said and every week of this show is a must get and this is the last week you're going to be able to land Rashy Rice on your rosters. Next it's Gary the man the myth and legend that is 4 and one in his league. Josh Farage, what's up, guys? Love the show and love everything underdog's putting out. You guys have helped me start out at 4 and one in my home league. Uh, so looking to add the last Infinity Stone to hopefully a championship roster here. Uh, it's a 10 team league, so you know, the rosters look pretty dope everywhere, but mine's pretty strong, I think, all around. Uh, three wide receiver, one flex. I wanted to improve my wide receivering room a little bit. Uh Lad Maki hasn't panned out so well, but it's been kind of a strong floor play and has looked a little better this past week. So I made an offer to the CD Lamb owner who's two and three and fill in the squeeze a little bit. Uh Lad Maki and Ken Walker for CD Lamb. He molded over but eventually countered with Amecha Eggbuka and Ken Walker for CD Lamb. And I just don't know. I'm not really ready to to you know walk away from with the Yuri's having I I kind of love that I picked him and want to hold on but I do have Rashi Rice coming back and a wide receiving core of Lad Rashi and Cidi Lamb feels pretty formidable. I don't know guys help me out here. Um I need some direction otherwise I might lose it. All right, thanks a lot guys. Take it easy.
This might be the most underdog coded team I've ever seen. He has Achan, Edguka, K9, Matthew Golden, Rashy Rice, Ricky Pearl, George KD, Travis Hunter, even Woody Mars and Harold Fannon as pickups. Anyways, for us, I absolutely love that we get I offer this, I got countered with this. We also got a ton of Emecha Igbuka trade away questions. Just your overall thoughts. Do you do it or do you pass here?
I think I'm making this move, Josh.

Wasn't going to get it done, right? But I think this is a proper counter. you know, CD could be as back as soon as next week and I would take advantage of this big week from Igbuka. Now, I'm not going to assume that we're just going to continue to get these this these types of weeks every week. Mike Evans will be back soon, potentially next week. Um, I would take advantage. Listen, you you took a Ibuka. You don't want to move move away from him because you made a great pick, but I would take advantage of the fact that you took a Buka and you made an awesome pick and turn him into that last Infinity Stone. is Ibuka that last Infinity Stone and I think I think things improve over the course of the season for Kenneth Walker in terms of his role but you know I look at your roster you have Rashi Rice coming back another wide receiver one there you could potentially have two top five wide receivers rest of season on your roster are we ready to call him I bua that guy I maybe maybe he will be but we know that CD.
Is a what top three wide receiver rest of season when he's back so I'm taking this deal.
Maybe I'm just soft scared scared to compete I don't know, Faras. Like, this is the first player to ever have at least 25 receptions, 400 receiving yards, and five touchdown receptions over the first five games of their NFL career. I remember after Puka Nakua start, people were saying sell now. This isn't going to sustain. Uh I'm not saying that, you know, this is exactly the same where Buuka was a first round talent in comparison to where Puka Naku went in the NFL draft. But I am saying, isn't this exactly what we hope for when we play fantasy football? Like nailing a rookie wide receiver in round eight plus. So I kind of get it from your perspective because if we're just looking at his roster, you're trading away one starting wide receiver in Mechekbuka and right now his flex and Kenneth Walker because he also has Achan and Bejian Robinson to upgrade just one of those wide receiver positions. I'm slightly nervous if something happens to one of these running backs, then you're filling in with some combination of Woody Marks and and Michael Carter. So, I am not doing this. Uh, sure is Amecha Ibuka benefiting from not having Mike Evans on the field 100%. But is Mike Evans potentially in his last season in the NFL and also dealing with chronic hamstring injuries? Yes. So, look, Tampa Bay's schedule the rest of the way. Saints twice, Panthers twice, Dolphins defense, Falcons again. Maybe I'm competing scared here, but uh I'm keeping a mechuka on this roster.
I I love it, man. You know, you know, here's the thing, man. Like, I'm I don't want to trade Ibuka, but if I get a chance to go get CD Lamb.

You know, I'm going to do it, man. Dax's playing lights out. He He really is. Like, and I and you know, he has his own competition with George.
No concern about dreaded high ankle rest of season. No concern.
No, I I don't think so. I think, you know, from what we've seen in the past with wide receivers coming back, there isn't that much of a drop off. You know, wide receivers usually come back and, you know, there's not much of a drop off there. So, like, I'm I'm I'm not really worried about it. And, uh, apparently this is the one of the mildest high ankles we've ever seen, right? So, I'm just kidding. You know.
It's the lowest high ankle we have ever seen.
It's the lowest high ankle ever. Um, no, I I'm I'm not really worried about it. Dax's playing lights out. They have a terrible defense and I just think that they're just going to sling it, man. You know, they're the NFC Bengals. Well, when Joe Baron was there at least. But at the same time, aren't the Bucks just going to sling it too? Like Gary, you you have a difficult choice to make. Not only are you thinking of making this trade or not, you have to decide between Ferz and I right at this moment. I mean, for me, I'm looking at it is just torching zone coverage, and teams play zone way more than they play man coverage in the NFL. So again, while it's flashy to win these isolated routes on the outside, one-on-one and tight coverage, being dominant in zone coverage is even more important. And against that zone coverage at this moment, he is averaging 2.9 yards per route run. And Chris Godwin has left his hands back in 2023. And Mike Evans has left his hamstrings back in 2022. I just think like where this offense is at right now. Ibuka. Again, it's almost an I'm not saying he's going to become Puka Nakua, but it's an easier bet to make during his rookie season this is going to sustain because it's attached to first round draft capital versus being a mid to late round rookie pick that Puka was.
It could definitely sustain, man. But we're talking about CD Lamb here.

You also bring in Kenneth Walker, which to me like isn't just a throwaway because what what if something happens to Zack Sharp then Ken Walker is a top 12 ranked running back rest of season that you're also pairing with Devon Achan and Bejian Robinson. So it it is a two for one here.
Yeah, 100%. 100%. I I totally get it. I just if I could I for me like the way I play is like man I I want these like top three if I can get top threes at the position you know wide receivers running backs like I'm going to I'm going to take those opportunities man but I mean.
If you just expand that a little bit top five.

He will be this week because Chris Godwin not at practice either on Thursday Mike Evans not practicing either it could be another week of Acha Ibuka absolutely destroy.

I I I think I'm chilling. I think I'm good where we're at here with Quinn Sean Judkins as my RB2. You know, I'm happy with that. Um, now if I'm if I'm looking at your wide receivers, if I'm starting, you know, Ibuka, Odun, Jaylen Wadd every week. Pretty happy with that to be honest with you. Like what I would try to do maybe looking at your roster is maybe considering moving Marvin Harrison Jr., Maybe Terry Mor.
Um maybe like considering a package for like maybe Marvin Tayvon, you know, for a running back, maybe something like that. Like I I I don't want to move one of my top wide receivers just for a slight improvement at running back. Um I think I'm okay to stay putt here. I wouldn't move Ibuka in this case. Josh, I know you're not moving for damn near anybody.
Yeah, look, your running backs right now, Saquon Barkley gets the New York Giants in two of the next three games. Hopefully he has a run over 18 yards in those, right? Uh Quinchan Judkins is 15 touches per game, you know, at the smallest workload in those games. Quinn Sean is an interesting case study because he's getting all of the work. He's going to get all of the touches inside the 10 yard line. He's already owned all of that at this point. And yet, you know, he's the running back 14 in points per game over the last four. And that's kind of where he's going to operate unless he gets a touchdown. And the touchdowns are just more difficult to come by. uh because you know they're a team projected for 16 points this week and they're going to be the lowest projection on any given week. But at least you have and know what his role is going to be. So I would rather package as you just said Marvin Harrison Jr. and Terry McLaren for a running back rather than trading Ibuka as you know a solo player. So.
As the best wire receiver in fantasy.
I would even advise you to go and trade Marv and Terry McLaren and and go get some type of running back out there. But I think you can also stand pat and just have an awesome roster moving forward. Filthy. Next up, it's either be Ron or Braun. It might change between night and day.
Hey guys, big fan of the show. Um, I need your help. I am down bad. Not only am I getting destroyed by the all the uh 35year-old women at the Zumba class in my gym, but I'm also getting destroyed by my league mates. I'm currently one and four. So, I'm thinking of doing something irrational. I'm thinking of trading my number one trade asset, Jir Gibbs, and getting a bunch of pieces back. Right now, the trade offer I have is Jir Gibbs and Devont Smith for Travis ETN, Ted McMillan, Raandre Stevenson, and T. Higgins. I think ETN and T-Mac are are pretty good, I think. And then T. Higgins and Raandre are Philos at the moment with Antonio Gibson getting out and Flacco joining the Bengals. Want to know what your guys' thoughts are on that as well as just kind of the general discussion of trading your star player for a bunch of pieces when you were trying to get back in the fight. Anyways, thanks again for uh taking the time to look at this of the villa. Wow, this guy's a loyal viewer. Okay, we could throw the teams on the screen in the post at it because for us I don't know if you got to check them out. This is one of the craziest rosters I've ever seen. Okay, because Bron has both Lions running backs. He has both Eagles wide receivers plus Dallas Goddard and he has both Seahawks running backs. So that's why he's so frustrated is having all these Eagles having two players or three players from all the same team. So what are you going to do here? Are you going to deal away Jir Gibbs for basically a four for two?
I don't know, man. I want to know what happens in that Zuma class because he came out of that Zuma class feeling feeling real spicy. He wants to do something irrational. I think it'll be irrational. you know, to make to make a move like this, man. Like, honestly, like I I I think you're getting a few uh you know, as the kids say it, uh mid players. Uh and you know, ETN is a solid RB2. Test is a solid wide receiver, too. Like huge huge range of outcomes for Ramadri. Huge range of outcomes for Higgins. I rather trade like if I'm gonna make a trade and trade away Gibbs, I'd rather maybe pack I would rather get a package of like two players, two really really good players for Gibbs rather than like combine Gibbs with another player for like four eh players. You know what I mean? I I really want to be able to do that opposed to just kind of otherwise you're just spreading yourself super thin.
Yeah, unfortunately, a lot of the questions we got today involved Eagles players, which makes sense based on, you know, the five games we've seen them. But, and this, you know, Thursday Night Football could totally change this statement, but I think Devonte Smith has easily been the Eagles best wide receiver this year. He's actually caring when running routes and trying hard. And I don't think you can say the same thing for AJ Brown so far. Meanwhile, Jir Gibbs is the best asset here, period. Like, the Lions are once again number one in fantasy usage. He's running back five in weeks two through five. Imagine what he'd be if something happened to David Montgomery moving forward. And again, he's already the running back five with David Montgomery uh on the roster right now. So, having both Eagles wide receivers is your problem here. Again, they also get the Giants in two of the next three games, and that can totally flip on its head. Uh but I do want to mention the people you're getting back here. Like Travis ETN, when we zoom out, everyone has really hyped up what he has done so far this year. They've been amazed at how great of an asset he is. Despite that amazing start though, he's still just the running back 20 in points per game from weeks two through five. Kenneth Walker, who's on your roster, actually has outscored him in points per game in that same time frame. Terrell McMillan, who you might be getting back here, has been awesome to the eye, but he's wide receiver 34 in points per game because of the lack of touchdowns. And that points per game is actually lower than Devonte Smith. So, I'm not even sure if he's upgrading on these other non-Jamir Gibbs assets here. And Jir Gibbs is the one that I would want in this trade entirely, too.
Yeah, he's really buying a lot of potential, but he's not necessarily buying any proven production, and you're giving away serious proven production here. So, I This is a a tough one for me. If you're going to move someone like, you know, Devonte Smith, um you could, you know, he did, you know, he had two out of three good games over the last three, right? So, maybe try and package him somehow, uh and get another asset, but maybe not move Jir Gibbs, right? Like so this is a.
I think he's moving the wrong assets. I I would be moving and again this can come back to bite me on Thursday. Uh I would be moving AJ Brown and I would be moving Zack Charbonet though and I would be moving Dave Montgomery. Those are the three players I would be looking to move instead of Jir Gibbs and Devonte Smith here.

Yeah. Or or a George Pickins sell high question, right? We get a lot of those as well. I mean, sure, can Pickins be a sell high? Maybe. But I I would need much better assets here, man. BTJ, he he simply is not getting it done right now. I saw more reasons to buy in on him in the first three weeks of the season than over the last two weeks. 21% target share over the last three. Nothing too crazy. Um I understand the intrigue with Rico Dattle after last last week's game and this week's revenge game, right potentially without Chuba Hubard, but this is a short-term move. Um you know, Pickkins can end up outscoring both of these guys himself this week. like he gets an he gets a matchup against another team who plays a majority of single high safety coverage and he's a single high monster. He's targeted on 23% of his routes against single high versus only 15% against two high. 2.73 yards per route run against single high versus only one yard per route run in too high. So this is not the week I'd want to trade pickins away because he could have another blowup week. He hasn't hit his expected points at all this season, but he's also not getting the same usage that we saw during his rookie season to make me think he's going to match our expectations, right? And that's twofold. He's not getting the screen and manufactured targets that he got last year. Those are going to Travis Hunter, DA Brown, running backs in the screen game, too, for Liam Cohen. And then, while we love Liam Cohen's offense, even when you go back to Tampa Bay last season, his passing game lives in like that 10 to 19 yard sample. Baker Mayfield last season was like 31st uh in 20 plus yard passes and meanwhile top 10 in attempts that were in that intermediate range. Trevor Lawrence last season was number two in the league in 20 plus yard pass attempts and then this year he's down at 32nd across the board. And so we're just not going to get those huge downfield shots that Brian Thomas can have those huge gains and then we're also not getting necessarily as many gimmies in the screen department. So George Pickins is a monster and again I know we only have basically one sample full sample of he and CD Lamb on the field and it was again week one I want to remind people against Mcfangio and that's just not a game that George Pickkins is going to thrive on. Meanwhile, he's thrived in every other one and I think he's still going to thrive for us when CDL comes back. This isn't an either or thing. It can be a both thing and I I feel like too many people are looking at it as oh he's just the de facto number one wide receiver with how it's rolling. Like you said, they both can be top 12 assets at the wide receiver position moving forward.
When a wide receiver gets this type of target share along with this type of production, this is not a oh, it's only because the other wide receiver is out. When you don't have the talent and you don't have the usage that the team wants to get to you because you're uh, you know, a borderline elite talent, then the targets are just going to spread around elsewhere. That's that's what happens every single time a wide receiver is not worthy enough to get the targets and the usage u and he's getting it. There's a reason why everyone who has George Pickkins drafted him. You didn't draft him because you thought that CD Lamb was going to get hurt. You drafted him because you thought that he was going to be great on this team alongside CD Lamb and we should expect that when CD Lamb is back. They play two different roles. George Pickins is going to stretch the field a ton. It's CD Lamb is going to benefit from that. And then Pickkins is also going to benefit from CD Lamb getting all the attention that he usually gets. So, they're going to work off of each other. Dak is playing really well. Um, I would not assume that Pickkins is just going to be that much worse when when CD Lamb is back.

What's going on, boys? Big fan of the show. Been watching for years. Uh, really loving all the new content you've been putting out lately. So, keep up the good work. Uh, need some trade console here. I uh I'm sitting here at four and six. We do the league median. Uh it's a 12-man league, three wide receiver, one flex. Uh Nico Collins is on buy this week, so that kind of weakens my uh my total output. So I'm thinking of trading Nico and David Montgomery, and then I'd be receiving Courtland Sutton, Mike Evans. Um and then the running back I'd be getting back uh would be Rico D. Uh so my thinking here is um you know, I might be slightly uh downgrading in elite talent. Uh but I'd be uh kind of strengthening my uh my team for week six. thinking your thoughts. Um, also some added context. I'm uh hyper aggressive in trades. I think I've made like eight or nine trades already this season, most of them blockbusters. So, just trying to acquire assets and then I maybe later down the line uh trade back for some more elite players. So, let me know your thoughts. Thanks, guys.
Faz, I don't know if you noticed this is a very savvy move. Not only sending in a video question, but look over his left shoulder. Uh, he also has the program going on on his television. Very, very savvy. Cool, some might say, for Mr. 33. Now, I might say a couple negative things here for someone that has made eight or nine trades and is hyperaggressive, which is totally cool. Um, I'm a little bit nervous for Oz that he lacks star power. Uh, you know, it's it's kind of obvious if he didn't, you know, trade already his first or second round pick. That his first and second round picks were Nico Collins and Brock Bowers. Uh, I would not make this move. Would you make this move?
Yeah, I I had the same kind of feelings about it, right? because and I was kind of going back and forth of whether to make this move because of his roster construction. I don't love this move. Um now in your situation like would you consider it? Why would you consider it? It's close for me. Um now would I be surprised if Corin Sutton outscores Nico Collins rest of the season? Like I wouldn't be surprised. Like I'd rather have Nico, but Sutton's a baller. Also like if you trade for Sutton this week, you get the Sauce Gardner matchup. So if you're doing this deal because Nico's on a buy, you have Sutton against Sauce. you have Mike Evans not suiting up this week. Um, so what is the impact on Mike Evans once Amea graduates to god tier, right, Josh? Uh, you know, at the wide receiver position, right, later this season.
And you know, and I mentioned the opposite situation earlier on, but I like to paint the picture of all the potential range of outcomes in the Bucks wide receiver room. But.
This was pretty close to me. Um, now first of all, you your name the cool 33, like I'm really hoping that's a Lupe Fiasco reference, and if it is, like let's be friends. Uh, but I'm I'm looking at your roster like your wide receiver three, wide receiver four, Matthew Golden and Travis Hunter like and you're starting both this week, right? And that that worries me. Um, especially because you don't have that much help on your bench. So turning Nico into two wide receivers like it could be good. Like you're trading Monty though. Who's your RB2?
Like I guess you're depending on Aaron Jones to be back. Like it's it's this one's tough, man. This one's really tough. Like I'm leaning no here, but like it it still makes me nervous regardless. What do you think? and he's four four and six again facing the league median and I think is a cool way to do leagues sometimes. I also forgot to mention he has Devon Achan so technically he has three players going in the top 24 of reddraft at the start of the season in Han and Nico and Brock Bowers. I mean don't look now even if the Texans offense has looked crap prior to playing the Baltimore Ravens Nico Collins is still wide receiver 10 in points per game over the last four. You would like to think and I'm not saying they're going to be able to face the Ravens defense every single week. that is decimated, but some of what they did last week, they're able to take and move forward and, you know, just have a functional passing game. Um, this just isn't like I've already talked about Mike Evans. I I'm just not a believer rest of season once he comes back again. Another year older, another year later, another hamstring issue on top of this. And while I love Rico Dattle, I think we need to think of and believe in Rico Data as an amazing waiverwire pickup. And at best it's going to be a split backfield 50/50 once Shuba Hubard returns. And the best we're going to see of Rico Dattle if they are both in the backfield was last game and then here in week six and that's about it. He's just not going to overtake Juba Hubard in this backfield. I would be stunned. So I want Nico and I still want David Montgomery. Like I know he's the running back too on his team, but this team utilizes running backs to the degree and are so good at it that he is better than many of the other single RB1s on other rosters. So what you need here, cool, is for the post by rookie bump to hit in a big way for the likes of T-Mac, for Travis Hunter, for Matthew Golden, for RJ Harvey, and for that to win you your league. Not this trade to win you your league.
I'm with you. I'm with you and I would be stunned as well if Rico Dole takes over that backfield. It's going to be a one-two punch, you know, at some point whenever uh whenever Chuba Hubard is back. I'm with you on that. Now, let me let me ask you this though, man. Mike Evans, okay, like do you think that Mike Evans like, you know, coming back, it could be a one-two punch between him and Ibuka if Chris Gwyn isn't right? Um, I could see it. You know, he had a, you know, 28 29% target share in those first couple games, you know, before he, you know, he he he messed up his hamstring. I mean, he does that every single year and he comes back.
Or multiple times per year, you know, you know.
I'm I'm I'm just really worried because I think the Bucks kind of know where this is at, too. If you look at his contract, it just has a whole bunch of void years after this. And uh I would be stunned. I'm not going to put anything against Mike Evans. He's a Hall of Fame talent to me. Hey guys, love the show. Never stop doing what you're doing. My question for you is I'm in a 12 team full PPR and I am currently 1 and4 and it's mainly due to my wide receiver room. So I've been stuck with AJ Brown's two points a game all year long and I'm sick and tired of it. I'm looking to make a move to get rid of AJ Brown and maybe improve my running back room uh to get someone over Kenneth Walker or improve my wide receiver room and kind of exchange AJ for someone who can be a little more consistently getting me points every week. And so I was wondering what I could get for AJ Brown or if I should maybe hold on and see if he's production improves as the Eagles passing game starts to kind of ramp up a little. But you know, I'm one and four. I'm looking to make a splash and do something that could potentially turn the season around. I don't know. Let let me know what you guys think. Thanks. Just to talk through his roster, he also has Jaylen Wadd, Ted Rug McMillan, Lad Mani, Rashy Rice on the bench, too. So, uh, I'm not saying, you know, Rashi Rice is going to help you win every game here on out, but I'm not saying he's not going to help you win every game from here on out. You know, on paper, this roster looks pretty solid to me. Like, this is one of the one in four teams that could end up surprising everyone and actually just making the playoffs without even making a move. If I just forward to next week, your wide receivers is going to be Rashi Rice, Jaylen Wadd, T McMillan, and I'm not even counting AJ Brown, right? Of feel that's pretty solid. Um, now the problem is, can you get the dub this week? Uh, you know, one option, like I look around your league to see who is lacking depth at the wide receiver position. Like, see if they'd be willing to do some sort of two for one. And like there would be, you know, some some guy, some people might be desperate and like, you know what, give me AJ Brown. Let's hope for the best and then you can get back a consistent wide receiver.
Um, would you like Josh, let me ask you this. Would you trade AJ Brown for someone like maybe Chris Olave in a full PPR? Like maybe, you know, get someone like him. Uh, maybe someone like Devonte Adams, who, you know, by the way, Josh is my primary trade target this week. Like, I think there's a couple guys here.
Yeah. And then also Michael Carter, too. Like Michael Carter's on your bench right now. Like there are probably there's probably a team or two in your league who is desperate for a running back and you know if you're not the person who drafted Trey Benson probably. Yeah. And if you if your running back is not, you know, uh if you're not going to start Michael Carter and he's just going to sit on your bench, I think kind kind of feel like he's your primary trade piece right now. Uh especially if you're not starting him. So Michael Carter, AJ Brown, you know, I would say I would see what you can get for a running back needy team.
Nice. Okay, let's lead this into our buys of the week. I don't think I brought any sells to be honest. Talk us through it. Who uh is your favorite player to target this week?
It's really like one guy for me. It's Devonte Adams, man. You know, he's getting top 12 wide receiver one type of usage. Um he's just a wide receiver 16 on the year, which is good. Like he's been he's been good, but you know, you look at the the the underlying utilization, man, he has more air yards than Puka Nua this year. He is number two among all wide receivers in air yards. Um only, you know who he's behind? He's only behind. F it. He's down there somewhere. Taquan Thornton. You know, it's it's amazing. Um 27% targeture and he owns 67% of Matthew Stafford's end zone targets. And then you look at this week, man, like you talked about it with Nico Collins. This could be a blowup speed a blowup spot for him, you know, against the Ravens, right? Completely gutted. Um they allow the most touchdowns to wide receivers, tie with the Cowboys. So I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves this game with two touchdowns for himself. So, I kind of want to grab him before this potential blowup game cuz I kind of feel like he's due.
They get the Cardinals twice, the Panthers, the Ravens this week. They also get the Saints defense, the Falcons defense this season, too. They're on some more difficult ones, but uh those are some very nice matchups. Yeah, I would even term Devonte Adams as a buy high because I don't think anyone who drafted him is is thinking of getting rid of him. But, uh, everything that you've outlined makes total sense and I would be willing to pay the price because, uh, the red zone stuff and the endzone targets are super up there. Super up there.
Um, okay. I know I just mentioned to not get him in a trade, but I would actually be looking at Courtland Sutton because his schedule remaining is really fantastic. It's the Cowboys, the Jets, the Giants, the Raiders twice. their offensive line to me is good enough to, you know, stand up to the Houston Texans, some other teams that they're facing on top of that. Uh, and he's just Mr. consistent for that team. So, I know he had like almost a goose egg a couple weeks ago, and that totally drops in a fivegame sample your points per game average, but Courtland Sutton is one of those kind of vanilla pieces that uh is still a major fantasy asset, I think, moving forwards. And one final one here. All right, let Derrick Henry stink this week against the aforementioned LA Rams. Then they go in their by-week, trade for Derrick Henry during the by-week because I believe the Ravens are treating their entire schedule after the buy as almost an entirely new season. Hopefully they get some defensive pieces back, offensive lineman back, Patrick Ricard back, Lamar Jackson back. And if that's the case, Derrick Henry, you know, week one was the running back one overall. He's been horrific since then about running back 22 to running back 50 ever since. But I just feel like if this team, who is still, by the way, favored to win the AFC North, is going to have that chance, then Derrick Henry is going to be a major part of that. And they're going to be favored in a whole bunch of those games after their bye-week. So that's a perfect time to, I think, buy low on an asset who's basically has an entirely different second half of the season as he did the first half.
The vibes are gonna be so low on Derrick Henry after this week. This could be a huge negative game script for them. a lot of Justice Hill. Maybe Justice Hill will even have a great fantasy game and that will even make that buy even easier.
I mean, they'll get the Bengals twice, the Dolphins, and the uh Steelers twice in the second half of the season. Quite nice. All right, that is going to do it for us.
