Morning folks. Well, 5:00 a.m. and I'm sat in Waterloo train station already. Why am I doing it? I'm on my way to the Samuel Leeds crash course in London.
I'm not a big fan of how trainers conduct themselves and how property training is carried out. They tend to use a lot of NLP, neural linguistic programming, and that's designed to use psychology and human behavior to manipulate people's actions and feelings. So, what they do is basically they use this to make you think that it's a once-in-a-lifetime day and you're crazy if you don't sign up now and miss this massive opportunity.
Try and film. So, I'm, I'm the reason I'm saying I'm going to try and film is because last week I saw a post on Facebook and somebody had actually been to the Samuel Leeds crash course a week or two ago. He said that there was no filming allowed and they had security staff wandering around the event looking for people filming, and if you were caught, you'd be thrown out of the event. I'm hoping I can film. I'm hoping I can sneak a few sneaky shots. If I can, when there's a break, I'll leave the venue and I'll film and give you a quick update of what's going on.
Got to get a train to Doncaster, change trains then to London, and then tube across London to the venue. I can't remember where the venue is. Not a big fan of London, if I'm honest. Too busy for me, everybody's in a rush, it's all chaos, and nobody speaks to you. But I'm doing this 'cause I'm doing it for you guys. I'm doing it to give you a true, honest review. There's a couple of reviews out there on YouTube of this event and other Samuel Leeds events, but if I'm honest, they're feeling like they're a little bit, well, let's just say they're very pro Samuel Leeds. I've never met the guy, nothing against him. I think he gets a lot of flak, but he's actually got the largest following, from what I can see on social media, of any of the property trainers. So, let's give it a whirl. Let's see what Samuel's got to say.

It's our first break of the morning. We've had Samuel on all morning. He's basically been going through quite a lot of stuff, to be fair. All of it pretty straightforward, pretty normal, pretty standard property stuff. If you're a beginner, just got into finding deals on Property Sourcing, which is the software that he's got shares in. So, overall, pretty sincere. I've just seen a couple of hints of him getting a bit annoyed because people were seen filming. So, he's told people, he's told the security staff that if they see anybody filming, to go in and have a remove them or take the phones off them. So, not sure I'm going to get away with any film inside. Obviously, I've got a little clip beginning before it really started, but I've also got some audio. We'll see how, we'll see how that goes. But generally, not too bad. Not learning anything really, but I didn't, I didn't expect to. Uh, I'm not here for the learning, I'm here to see Samuel Leeds in action and to see what he's really like. So, going to pop back in now and I'll update you later on. I think it's about 2:00.
One thing you got to realize on this event, there's no refreshments, no tea, coffee, biscuits, sod all. We passed lunch. We had a quick break, and there was no food anywhere. Session started a while ago, and I'm, I've come out for some lunch. I'm not used to doing events where they don't put on refreshments. I know it's only a quid, but I expected something at least a reasonable time for lunch. And I suppose you could say, well, are you not willing to make the investment in your time? And I guess if you're at that stage in your property career, then maybe you want to see if you can suck it up, and it's a bit of a test, I guess, of how, of how serious you are. But I'm not in that situation, so I'm off for some. There's a Nando's around the corner. I'm going to have a quick hand, then I'll pop back in, see how the session's going again. Okay, so it's been a few days since the event, and I wanted to sit down and just give you my final thoughts on, on the whole experience. These events are designed as a sales funnel. That is that their only purpose is to get you to go sit through a day's manipulation to get you to then sign up to a deal at the end, which you believe is a once-only deal, it's not going to be repeated, and you must be crazy if you don't sign up on the day. So, my advice is, go to these events, lap it up, see what's possible, leave your credit card at home because the use of NLP and emotion to get you to sign up starts at the very beginning of the day and lasts right till the end.
Now, what really did surprise me was the amount of people who did run to the back of the room with their cards out to sign up for these courses. Absolutely mental. So, this, this format where, and I knew there'd be a few people running to the back of the room. I probably, I would have, if you'd have asked me beforehand, I'd have said 30 or 40 people. I'd estimate 200 plus. He said there was 500 in the room. Half the room got up and went to the, you know, back of the room. It was absolutely crazy. In the morning, he said there'd be no discounting off the courses. Each course is two grand, basically, but there'd be no, no discounting. And at the end, suddenly he decides, oh, what the hell, let's juggle a love together, buy these ones, you get these ones for free. And that's that tips everybody over the edge, and they run to the back of the room. Listen, guys, it is not a special deal. It's the same deal at every single event. Do not be fooled. Go to the events, go home, digest what you've seen, do some due diligence, and then make your decision. You can always pay another quid and go back and do the course again, and then sign up at the end of that one. But don't be fooled, don't be rushed into it because probably 95% of the people who sign up to these courses actually achieve nothing. Some of them will get into a lot of debt and achieve nothing. Some of them will get into debt just for the cost and achieve nothing. But most people do not achieve anything. Yes, there are exceptions. Yes, it's all possible. He didn't say anything which isn't possible. He said a few dubious things, but nothing was, was untrue. Just don't get sucked into it.
Is he any worse than other property trainers? No, I don't think so. Apart from the dubious comments about getting rich first, then then were about getting legal, that was the worst thing for me. But no, I don't think Samuel's really anything worse than other property trainers. They're all pretty much of a, of a, of a muchness. They're doing property training for one reason only, and that is to make their fortunes. Take care.
