This is Grizzly True Crime and we're about to watch a live press conference in an active and ongoing manhunt that we've already gone over together. So, they are going to recap it as well. So, I'm just going to get to the press conference. If you have questions afterwards, then we can maybe go over the presentation again or, you know, I can try to answer questions. But, I think they do a very good job and part one is very much still available for you. I'll link it in the description box if you want to know about this. But, they're obviously going to give us critical information because it's an active and ongoing manhunt in upstate New York. Welcome everyone. So, I'm going to start playing it now. Everybody ready?
Good morning everyone and welcome to Raybrook. I'm Major Peter Arcadi, Troop B Commander for the New York State Police. We're joined here this morning by members of the Cahose Police Department, the US Marshals, and the
Let me Let me boost it for us a little bit more. Okay, hold on one second. I just want to make sure you can hear it nicely. Okay, so that should be good.
New York State Forest Rangers. This is a fluid multi-agency investigation consisting of members of the US Marshals Task Force, New York State Forest Rangers, US Customs and Border Protection, Sinak Lake, Lake Placid, Plattsburg City, and the Ticonderoga Police Departments, the Clinton and Essex County Sheriff's Departments, the Franklin County District Attorney's Office, the Northern Regional Response Team, along with several other agencies who are assisting the Cajos Police Department and the New York State Police.
With this ongoing investigation, I would like to discuss our efforts regarding the search for our suspect, 53-year-old Anthony G. Bashand of Cahose, New York, who fled the scene of a homicide that occurred on Saturday, September 13th, 2025 at approximately 8:30 a.m. During the morning of Sunday, September 14th, 2025, the Cahose Police Department received a call regarding a deceased female located inside a residence on Earl Lane Court. The Cahose Police Department arrived on scene and located 41-year-old Amanda Rodriguez of Cahose, New York, deceased. Our sincerest condolences go out to Amanda's family.
An investigation determined that Anthony G. Bashand, aged 53, fled the scene. And on September 14th, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a white 2024 Chevrolet Silverado known to be operated by and belonged to Anthony Bashand was located on County Route 60 at the intersection with State Route 86 in the town of Brighton in Franklin County. Mr. Bashan is described as a white male approximately 5' 11" in tall, hazel eyes, grayish brown hair, weighing between 180 and 210 lbs. He is believed to have fled the area where his truck was located in an unknown direction with an unknown clothing description.
There was indication from a search of the vehicle that Mr. Bashan likely had an injury to his left side. However, the severity of this injury is unknown. Search efforts have commenced from the location of his truck throughout the surrounding areas. Law enforcement agencies are conducting organized searches over a several mile radius from the Hamlet of Gabriels. The heaviest concentration of our search efforts have been the mile and a half area north towards Malone and south towards Lake Clear.
During these searches, various methods have been used to include structure clearing techniques and grid searches to navigate the heavily forested terrain. Our law enforcement partners are utilizing a variety of resources such as canines, drones, helicopters, and fixed-wing aircraft. We are also using ATVs, UTVs, and officers on foot. So far, we've logged over 600 miles of recorded tracks over an area covering more than 950 acres. Our teams have visited over 240 residences and dwellings in attempt to conduct interviews and search the areas.
The US Marshals and Crime Stoppers are offering a combined $7,500 reward for information leading to the location and arrest of Mr. Bashand. If anyone has seen Mr. Bashander may have unknowingly given him a ride, we strongly encourage you to come forward. I assure you there will be no legal consequences. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the New York State Police. We are asking you to share any tips, even if you believe they've already been reported to law enforcement. You can reach us at 518-897-2000.
We also ask that those of you hearing this message share it with your family and friends from outside the area. If you have trail cameras, please review the footage as you may have pertinent information. If you notice anything suspicious, please report it immediately to law enforcement. With hunting season approaching in this area, we want to remind everyone to exercise caution. Please be aware of your surroundings and what you're shooting at as there may be law enforcement present in the wooded areas. For those of you that will be present in the woods or traveling to your camps, be cognizant in those areas. If you notice campfires, campsites, strange odors, or anything unusual, please reach out to us.
In closing, I want to express our deep sorrow for the loss of Amanda Rodriguez. Our goal is to bring her family justice and to locate Anthony Bashan. Our number again for tips is 518-897-2000. Is there evidence suggesting that he may have committed suicide? There's nothing we have at this point in time to lead us to that conclusion.
Have family or close contacts been cooperative in the investigation so far? Is any information? All family and friends have been cooperative.
Have there been any evidence at all? We would like to make a request that reporters have microphones right at all these press conferences. My goodness.
Welcome everyone. Uh thank you so much for being here. We need to collectively get the word out on this manhunt that has very little coverage and yet they believe that this man Anthony Beand, 53 years old, might be armed and dangerous. He could be in the woods right now. is probably where he is. And they're looking for him using helicopters, drones, canines, ATVs, everything they just said. And he is a person they'd like to speak to. So, a person of interest. I thought today they might actually say they're going to file murder charges. They haven't said that yet, but he's a person of interest in the murder of his girlfriend, Amanda Rodriguez. She was found deceased in her home by a friend. And this boyfriend, Anthony Bishand, a um landscaper, he fled the scene and then he ran out of gas and abandoned his truck and it's like 50 to 70 miles south of the Canadian border. So that's why, you know, border patrol is involved in all of that as well, 'cause they're trying to make sure that they can find him. I mean, I'm sure he would try to get across the border if he could as well. Who knows where he is right now? But it's up to us to share the critical information. So, as soon as they're done with the Q&A, we could do a quick little recap so we're all on the same page. And so, you could please like, not because you like the topic, because you want to get the word out. You want to help to get the word out. Share as well. Leave a comment below afterwards. Engaging with this video really, really helps. Maybe watch it again so that others can also get it in their orbit and then hopefully share it as well because you just don't know. They're looking for ring cam footage, dash cam footage. They're looking for the public to assist them. And you know, then yeah, the Grizzlies do well with that because we're proactive. So, it's nice to be able to as a community share as much as possible, especially if locals don't yet know about it. They also need to stay safe and they also need to keep the eyes peeled, right? If they see something to say something.
Was there any other signs of his presence other than his truck? Like any any other signs of his presence other than the truck? No.
Do we believe he may have crossed the border to Canada? It's one of those, uh, we don't have any reason to believe. We don't have any leads leading us leading us in that direction at this time. So until leads or information point us otherwise, we're still concentrating here in this area. Not that we're not searching or exploring those avenues.
Was his truck out of gas when it was found? Yes, it was.
Are there any concerns that he might be in St. Lawrence County or maybe that way? Same to like the the Canadian question. We don't have any information that leads us out that way, but we are still exploring those options and conduct if we get tips for that area. We're following up on those.
What about his cell phone records or credit card activity? Anything on that? So, we don't have any recent cell phone or financial history with him.
You said there was evidence he fled. What is that evidence? Fled from co-host up here. Is that what you're referring to? Yeah, like fled from the scene. What evidence was there that he was there at the time of the murder? I could tell you that through the investigation conducted down there and interviews with some of the neighbors, they saw his truck there and then they saw his truck leave shortly after the time frame that we were able to determine was the time of the incident.
What led investigators to believe that he sustained an injury um in leaving his truck or at that scene? Uh, there was forensic biological evidence in the truck.
Is there any previous uh criminal record for Mr. Bishan? No, that was previously stated. He has no prior criminal history.
Why is the search just uh being focused a mile and a half radius from the truck? The search area is a lot larger than that. Um, for that concentration, there was a grid search um to look for any signs of direction that he may have went or where he may have been.
Does he have any known ties to the area? Any family, friends, anybody that he go hunting up in hunting cabins or anything like that? That would be jumping. Uh, we don't have any information that he had any ties to this area other than the victim.
I know. Shame. There's such a like a sad heavy energy right in this room. Like we need to like let's get the energy. I know it's about a murder. I'm just saying like, yeah, I'm not blaming them. I'm saying us. Like let's show them that they've got our support. Let's like share share the flyers um and all the information possible. Hopefully, they can find this guy. Um, because they also said previously, there were previous reports that yes, neighbors saw his truck at the house. He stayed with his girlfriend um the victim in this case and then they saw the truck leave. But there's also ring cam that I believe they have. They just can't say too much because of the investigation, but I think they previously either in a report an article somewhere they mentioned ring cam footage. But either way, in the neighborhood, ring cam footage would be good to have as well. We can have a look uh after this, you know, densely uh forested area. So, can you describe some of the challenges um in searching these forests? For anybody that's been up in this area, I mean, the the woods up here, especially in the Adirondacks, not only do we have, you know, significant elevation, but the terrain, the the forest is very, very densely populated in some areas. why we're doing grid searches. You know, we can only be three to five feet apart from each other.
Should Anthony be considered armed and dangerous? I would say that yes. I mean, we don't have anything to to say that he's armed, but we always have to use that caution, especially up here in the North Country.
Do the reporters also need to watch part one? It sounds like it. There's a lot of repeat questions here. Shame. I know there's not much to go on, but okay. Uh, I would say yes.
Did he have a past criminal record by any? No, there was no prior criminal history.
So, would this matter be considered a threat to the public? I believe that there is uh that there is a threat to the public. Right. You have somebody who we think is responsible for committing a homicide who's now desperate and on the run. So yes, for those reasons, we think that uh there is concern for the public.
What what's the advice to folks who live in this area right now? Could you say that again? What's the advice to folks who live in that area? So, I think uh what's important to emphasize is uh what we would ask, this is an appeal to the public and those that are here in the area or have camps in the area or residences in the area, seasonal homes in the area, is to check on them and to report any suspicious activity. You know, as the major stated, we would want to make sure that they come forward and share that information with us because that information may lead us to this beach. But in terms of like just personal safety, like folks going out for a hike alone, um folks who live in the area where his truck was found at night? Yeah. Is there what's the message to to people who live in the area who are out and about? Stay alert, be aware. Uh, perhaps don't go places alone, right? Like make sure that uh that uh people are aware of where you're going and let somebody know where you're going so that your family knows, your friends know, and they know what time you're expected to be back.
Are you positive that he acted alone in the killing of Amanda Rodriguez and is still alone? Now, first part, yes, we believe that he was alone. Uh, second part, we don't know if uh, you know, whether he's gotten help in, you know, unintentional or intentional help up here in this area.
Have police heard from anyone who saw him here like by the truck? There is no sightings of him since we know that the truck was uh was here.
Do we know when his uh cell phone was last used? Uh, cell phone activity was blasting the area uh where the truck was left.
How far away from the border is the truck? For people who aren't sure, you know, the topography and how far away from the border and especially on foot, how long would it take him if he did make a a run for it? What do we think? It's around 40 miles um straight as the crow flies uh from where the vehicle is located to roughly where the Canadian border is. Uh, you're talking on what? There's a lot of variables with that one. That one's really kind of a difficult question to answer. Oh man, the quality as well. I will show you a map afterwards. Okay. So, more than likely it would take him a while to get. Yeah, it would take it would take us definitely some time.
So, is the cell phone last being seen at the truck? Were state police able that were investigators able to access it? What information was looking for? And was any from that physical device was not there?
Have you worked with Canadian law enforcement? Have you had conversations with them about the situation? You know, what have they said? We've made notification to the Canadian counterparts. Um, you know, they're aware of the situation. Uh, but again, we don't have anything directly to uh information to provide to them to get them to search in a certain area, but they are they are aware of the situation. We have a good working relationship with the Canadian authorities.
So, has the murder weapon been found? I wouldn't want to comment on some of the specifics. We can't get into those because of the potential of a pending prosecution. We just can't get into some of the details of the evidence that we have.
Could it be possible that someone uh drove in a different car separately with him up here or is there evidence to rule that out? We believe the most likely scenario is that he came up here alone.
Was Camp Gabriel searched? From our state prison several times.
Have you spoken to family and friends of Anthony? If so, you know, what have they said about his characteristics? Was he a violent person? I don't have any information on the interviews that were conducted. Yeah. As far as the information regarding the family interviews and stuff like that, there was uh as far as the that that information, we were asking more about like what he is like up here and his as far as his his past history, there was no indication that he'd be violent up here, but also given that why we're looking for him, we obviously can't rule that out either.
I think this question's already been asked too, but did he have any sort of connections to the North Country up here or anything like that? The only connection he had to the North Country was the the victim victim's family.
What uh caused what led to Rodriguez's mother calling police with concern? She hadn't talked to her daughter and I think that was unusual to go 24 hours without speaking. So, she asked a friend to go and check the residence.
How frustrating is this investigation? Who are you asking? Any one of you. Uh, so I don't look at it as frustration. I look at it as like we we're we're facing a difficult task and we all are working together to embrace that task and get after the problem and locate and capture Bishan. I I agree with what he's saying. Uh, I think that we all want this to come to a quick resolution, but the level of cooperation and the amount of effort that's put into it. There's no frustration there because this is an amazing uh um example of teamwork and the tremendous effort being conducted between the state police and the forest rangers and the marshals and all the law enforcement uh partners, the major previously mentioned. In that regard, I've never seen anything that's worked as well as this has. But there is obviously that underlying um frustration of not having found him yet.
How does how does it compare to other searches, especially if you take out the fact that it's a rural wooded, you know, thickly wooded area? How do you compare this search to other ones you've been involved in? So, the one thing that is a little different, right, is that we are in this this rugged environment in the Adirondacks, right? So I I know you just mentioned that but that makes this search unique. Uh, we also have a scenario where uh the last proof of life has been over a week now, right, approaching two weeks. So uh that can occur with other searches by comparison, but sometimes, you know, we're just waiting for that breadcrumb of evidence or information that's going to help lead us to capture again.
How long will the search be active? It it's really not a uh we don't have like a a deadline set or some sort of next triggering event that's going to conclude this massive search effort. We don't we have not even discussed it. And uh so right now our posture is we are all in this team up here and and our law enforcement professionals and partners around the region uh are all in on this and and our aim is to locate and capture him.
When you say all in, can you detail exactly or approximately how many law enforcement personnel have been involved in the search? My estimations would be uh probably over 100, maybe even approaching 200 in terms of law enforcement professionals. On any given day, you have between 30 and 50 in the last week. Is that a fair estimate?
With it hunting season, uh, and you're going to have more boots on the ground basically passively searching. How much will do you think that would help as far as covering the terrain? Because obviously there's going to be a lot of people that are going to be looking not only for paint but also him as well. Yes, that's a great question and that ties into that appeal to the public. We really, you know, your eyes and ears are extremely important and you know, anything out of the ordinary, anything that you think uh might be suspicious or might be connected to Bishen, we definitely want to hear from hunters or you know, homeowners in the region. You know, we want to hear from them.
Are there any changes to that 30 to 50 people per day going forward if nothing happens or is that going to continue um at least for the time being? So that's a great question. Um, as I stated, we we really don't have an end date in mind right now uh and but sure at some point in time if we continue and there is zero signs or evidence to suggest that he's still in the area, then of course we'll have to re-evaluate the resources that are committed to it. But that's not at being done at this time. No, we are we are focused on the uh task ahead and are fully committed to this.
I'm wondering are there any law enforcement that are out there searching for him right now that have also searched for the two prison escapes at Damora as well? You know, is there any sort of overlap there? Are there any sort of characteristics or similarities that you know law enforcement is seeing in terms of how to tackle this approach, how to find him? So you do have uh standing before you, you do have veterans of the Danamar escape here. Many of us were involved in that back in June of 2015 and and we are borrowing from that playbook, right? In terms of what efforts were made then that could help in future searches.
What information is there to believe that he is still alive and not deceased? We we don't have anything um conclusive to suggest that he's alive or deceased. However, we are, you know, as as you explore different possible theories or outcomes that could have happened here, right? Because of the amount of effort in this search in this area, we believe that it's less likely that he's deceased and more likely that he is alive and still here in the area and were go ahead and were there any drug just just a quick pause there. I hope that they handing out flyers in the area as well, especially if it's a hunting area and hunter hunting season will start and all of that. I hope that there's lots and lots of flyers. So, I don't know if there aren't, maybe if one of you, one of the grizzlies is there and can print out lots of flyers to put out there. They've got flyers available of him, right? Of what they're looking for, the number to call, what he looks like, all of that. Okay, maybe that could be handed out locally. I don't know 'cause I just it's just coming across a little bit like I feel like their searches are probably good and the grid searches and everything they're using, but I just hope the the communication that's what I'm trying to say the communication even between them all is interesting like maybe make sure that the this is why the press conference is happening that the to make sure the public knows but yeah, I think we really need to share this one and share again and share tomorrow. So, you've got homework. Okay. Today is Thursday, the 25th of September of 2025. Please share it every day until Sunday at least or every day. Just share it every day if you can because uh yeah, I think the locals need to know about this. I mean, it is also dangerous to just, you know, be aware that there is a guy, there's a manhunt for a guy who's suspected of killing his girlfriend, stabbing her multiple times on the run, abandoned his vehicle. So maybe he's just hiding out there somewhere in the woods or whatever. But uh we don't know and we don't know if he's armed, dangerous, if he knows anyone there, if anyone picked him up. We don't know at this point. But the more information the better, the more eyes. They said more eyes, more ears, better. Check your ring cam, dash cams, any footage you have. Be very aware of your surroundings.
Alcat said, "I live near this area. There've been so many police out." Well, that's good to hear. You said way more than normal. I have no I had no idea why. I'll be keeping an eye out and tell my boss at work. Thank you so much. And you said and our security team. That's the spirit. Exactly. Thank you so much for uh for your sticker there. Yeah. Tell everyone you know, especially if you know people in that area. Make sure you send this to them as well.
Is there substances found in the vehicle? No, there wasn't.
Does he have a history of drug use? There was He's never been arrested for it before. So, um, as far as any unknown drug history or anything else, not that I'm completely aware of.
Going off on the hunting season, it's also leaf peeping season in the area. Are there any concerns that he could have hitched a ride and be well out of the area by now? Yes, that's a viable outcome as well.
In terms of the injury sustained at the truck, do investigators think it would have anything to limit his mobility drastically or would he still be able to cover ground? Is it It's too difficult to tell or determine from what was in the truck, just that there was evidence supporting the fact that he had may have some type of injury. What? Yes. And I assume that you've reached out to local hospitals and there hasn't been any what he's turning up with his prescription. Correct.
Are you using if they say that he may have there was an indication that he may have had something injured and the reporter asked blood isn't well, yeah, what else would it be? How else would they know he was injured? What else? I don't know what else to think of. Box of band-aids. I don't think so. Um, they probably tested that and it was then they're not saying that, but it would probably be his blood then because they're suspecting that he had an injury to his left side. So, that's important to know as well.
Here's a picture of him. By the way, uh, thank you to Grizzly Cat for digging up lots of pictures of this guy because it helps because the they're not putting they put out like one picture of him so far as well, but it helps to have different pictures. I'll show you the presentation again after so you can see him with glasses, without glasses, what he looks like. Uh, just in general, especially if he is out in the woods and has no resources to even change up his look. I just wish they would also ask like what what did you find in the car? Were the car keys there? Was the wallet key like wallet keys, cell phone, a bag, change of clothes, any shoes, footprints? Which direction did it go? Uh, there's so many there's so many questions, right? But anyway, the most important is to look out for that man that you see the picture. You need to look out for that man in the well anywhere actually, local area. Yes. Which is upstate New York. It's in uh the case started in Earl Lynn Court in Cahose, New York. And he is now near the area of well, that's where he last was um Paul Smith's College which is near Malone, New York. So they said Brighton, Franklin, right? We'll look at the map again, but somewhere around there, which is a large radius of area to search and maybe even crossed over the the border into Canada. Who knows? But to look out for him, if you see this man, call the tipline numbers. You can also call 911 and tell them it's about the manhunt for Anthony Beachand. It's like Bashond, I think, is how one could say it, but Beand is kind of how they're saying it here.
Cadaver dogs. We've used a bunch of different types of canine assets. Everything from bloodhounds uh to tracking dogs to cadaver dogs to bunch of different type of canine resources.
Have you done a toxicology test on the blood? Uh, the all the forensic evidence is still at the lab being tested.
Is it possible the blood is the victim's and not his? I don't believe so.
Have you spoken with any of the victims, family or friends about anything they might help you to lead you to, Anthony? They've all been spoke to. There's no direct information because he doesn't have ties to this area. So, there's no direct information really that uh would lead us or point us in a certain direction in this particular search.
Someone speak to the relationship between the victim and the suspect, how long they've been in relation for or known each other, serious it was. I don't know the exact length of time. Uh, I know that she had resided in that house in Cahose for I think it was about 7 years, but we'll look at our presentation again. I would recommend the reporters just just watch part one, you guys as well, but we'll go over the presentation again so we're all caught up. But yeah, she it was her house, Amanda Rodriguez's house that she had bought about 10 years prior. 10 years it appears. I'm not sure how long they were they were together in that relationship.
It was mentioned a possible connection of the victim to the North Country. What is that connection and family friends? Uh, victim's family. The victim is from that area, Malone, New York. So it is odd that he headed in that direction, right? But maybe he was just heading straight to Canada.
Where specifically is it in Malone? Is that uh in the Franklin County area from Malone and you know the Malone area?
How are they feeling knowing that he's still out out there? I can't answer that.
Is it fair to say that no evidence outside of his truck has been found to suggest or connecting him connected to him? His has nothing has been found. Right. Correct.
With no new like significant updates in this search, what was the goal of today's press conference? Was it just like reassure the public um that you guys are continuing to search for him? That's a good question. There's a plea out there for help. Yeah, we want the public to know that we're out there searching as hard as we possibly can given the weather and the terrain and that we need their help and we solicit their help and helping us find him. I mean, with the leaves coming off the trees and more people getting back into the woods into their camps, we're hoping somebody will see something and say something to us.
Is it possible to get the names and titles of the other three guys who've been talking? Yes. Can you Yeah. Just say them. Yeah. And spell. Sure. So, my name is Stu Smith. Stu, last name Smith. And I'm the assistant chief inspector with the US Marshall Service. Todd Walden, T O D W A L D I N, and the police chief for the city of Hose. Trevor Jarun, T R E V O R J A R U N, senior investigator of major crimes. Police. Yes. Okay. And just so I get this right too, where are we looking today for him right now? I want to make sure I get that part right. Where are we? Where's the Where's the search happening now? So, the searches today are concentrating um like we're going more out toward the cabin areas, uh campsites. We're still doing those type of searches today. Um, due to some of the weather constraints today, we're concentrating on that type of searching. Um, finding the camps, cabins, uh campsites, any type of structure like that that somebody would try to get out of the weather or anything like that.
Is there directionality to that or just out from where the truck is found in all directions? So, yeah, I mean each day obviously we have different thoughts, different plans that we're going with. Um, yeah, today we're concentrating both north and to the western areas.
Just to go in more detail about why do you believe more that why do you believe that he is still alive rather than deceased? I come to that conclusion and I and I think Trevor does as well because of the level of effort, the intensive search effort here in the immediate vicinity of where the truck was. We think it's most probable that if he were to have committed suicide that it would have been somewhat close to where the truck was, right? And because of that comprehensive search of that region and not discovering his remains, uh, that leads me to believe that he's likely to still be alive.
You mentioned that he didn't have any ties up here, that the victim had ties up here and yet he was making his way up here. Was he going to the victim's family, do we think, or have we explored that? Why he was coming up here. Obviously, that would be a thought, but that's there's nothing to lead us to that conclusion um whatsoever.
Would there be a heightened level of concern for the family that if he's out there, he's still trying to theoretically make his way with them and potentially be home? Again, we don't have anything leading us to that conclusion. You know, we're staying in contact with the family and letting her know that, you know, the search efforts are continuing. We're constantly having our patrols, our um our members who are doing the searching also concentrating and touching base with them on a on a basis.
How many tips have come in? Uh, I would say at this point in time, we're over probably 200 tips.
Any followed up on? Any of them helpful? Um, not yet. Not at this point in time, but we're still following up on anything. And again, kind of at any point in time, it could just be that one little tiny piece of information that kind of gets us going back in the right direction where where the where he's headed to. But just speaking on those tips, we are extremely appreciative that the public is reaching out and uh and with good information, you know, some that closely resemble matching the you know, matching Bishan that we are following up on. So, it's been extremely helpful that the tips are coming in, whether it's to help us confirm or deny a possible sighting of Bish.
For people who who are seeing this press conference now and are wondering where where's a picture of him, where's the easiest place to find a picture of him, his description, where's the easiest place to pull up that information? I think that's been released a few times from the state police and it's available online. Uh, and then after this press conference, we can make sure that you have uh images of him. And we appreciate you asking that question because we want to make sure we got quality images out there of him that could and the proper uh pronunciation of his last name is is it Bishan? Well, that's a good question. I followed the chief's lead. I think you know the major's lead. I think they pronounce it, right? Yes, sir. Yeah.
This is a question for Chief Walden. Could you describe the crime scene a little bit more? I mean, you know, the injuries she sustained. Probably not. Anything more from that? I really can't beyond what we already released, which was the the direct um verbiage from the uh the death certificate that we we put out to the press. I really can't get into the details of the crime scene.
Is he the only suspect? Look at his face. The way I've phrased it before is that you explore all the avenues obviously um and anything you know that gives you evidence is what you're going to follow. And when you start with close friends, family members, and relatives, and you're able to speak to all of them and rule them out, you have to make the one person who was uh her intimate partner and the one who resided with her and now can't be found going on 12 days the prime suspect. But I wouldn't say from the beginning that, you know, the focus was entirely on him. You have to just look at every possible um connection that there is.
So, is it possible that he too could be a victim and could have been um brought here against his will? I think that's extreme extremely unlikely and and not uh not part of the equation.
This will be the last question, right? Whoever decides to send it out. No pressure. Does everybody have Oh, sorry. Sorry. Go ahead. No, you go. Mine was kind of closer. Um, would you say that there is sufficient evidence that he committed this murder? Chief, that's to you. There is there is a lot of evidence that has been recovered. There's more being recovered every day. A lot of the search warrants take time. A lot of the electronic devices and a lot of phone downloads and and other things that you need to put the case together completely. But from what uh the investigators have found so far, there is a lot of evidence that points to Mr. Bishan. Yes.

Okay, so let me quickly show you now. Are you ready? That was a live press conference. Okay, so press conference is done and now what we're going to do is we're going to look at the map. Okay, so let's do map time. I'm going to play my original map time just to get the energy up a little bit here. Hold on.

Okay. And we are back. And let's bring up the map again. So, because that's very important to look at as well, just so that locals can actually know where the heck this happened and what is going on. So, first we're going to look at the map. Then I'll give you a recap of the presentation that we did so that you know who's who, who they're looking for, what happened, when did it happen, what's the timeline. Okay.
So, this case started in so it's upstate New York. It started at Earl Lynn Court. I've also I've linked the map like I put a link to the map that you can just click. It says map and you can click it. It's already in the description part of box of part one and I'll put it in this description box as well in case you live around this area and you just want to also just look at the map, you know, just to see where they're searching for him, where this case started because this is an active manhunt. So, just YouTube disclaimer, I am not showing anything I'm not supposed to be showing. It's nothing specific. I'm just showing the areas where the crime started, where a murder occurred, and then also where a manhunt, an active and ongoing manhunt is happening for a man who uh is expected to be armed and dangerous. That's what that would be worst case scenario. So, everybody must be careful. Check your ring cams, dash cams, trail cams, anything. Keep your eyes peeled. Carry pepper spray, whatever it is. And yeah, tell everyone that you know that lives in upstate New York and maybe even up there in Canada from this area or wherever about it. Share widely.
So, it started at Earl Lin Court and Anthony Ban lived there with his girlfriend. It was her house. She owned the house. Um, Amanda Rodriguez and then he fled the area and her mother had not heard for her from her for 24 hours. So her mother asked a friend that lives in this area to go check on her and the poor friend found her stabbed to death. That is so traumatic. That must be so so bad, right? So neighbors then and they previously mentioned something about ring cams knew that uh Anthony Bichan left the area shortly after they believe her estimated time of death is and so left the area 12 days ago. We'll go over the exact timeline in a moment. and he headed north and he just drove north it seems until he ran out of gas and then he ditched his car and now they don't know where he is. They do not know what he was last seen wearing. So that's also interesting. There's no like last seen footage of him or what he was wearing or anything but he headed all the way north. Okay. They also said they're searching this Ray Brook area that was in the previous press conference. They are searching this area. So you can see it is a large scale search from Ray Brook. And then here's um let's just go here. Malone, New York. And here's the Paul Smith's College. So between Ray Brookke and Paul Smith's College is pretty much the most concentrated search area, I would say, based on everything I've heard them say. Uh, his vehicle was abandoned near Paul Smith's College. So as you could see here, right? So if you're local, you'll probably recognize these places. This is the lower St. Regis Lake, but you can see they're there's a lot of uh bodies of water here. Cooler Pond, Church Pond, all of these and lots of wooded areas. Here's a marsh as well. Um, so yeah, if you need to orientate yourself, Paul Smith College is where they said his truck was abandoned near there. Why? Because he ran out of gas. We don't know if the keys they probably were. He probably just left the keys there, I would assume. But who knows what he's got with him, what he doesn't. And so Malone is actually where Malone, New York, where the victim and her family are from. That's why I've just put that on the map as well. And so he's familiar with that area because, you know, he was dating Amanda Rodriguez and obviously had met her family and everything. So they're from here. And look, just look how close it is to the border to enter into Canada. So, from where he was, they said it was about 70 miles south of the border. It's not a lot. I mean, yeah, he really could cross into the border, but then again, border patrol. Everyone's aware of it. They're looking out for him. There's sensors all along the way, so it's probably not that easy, especially on foot, right? Okay. So, that's the map. Now, let me bring this up. Uh, nope. Sorry. Sorry, that is a different presentation. Listen here. I want to bring this one up. Okay.
So, on Sunday, September 14th of 2025, at approximately 9:15 a.m., 41-year-old Amanda Mandy Rodriguez was found dead in the home she shared with her boyfriend, 53-year-old Anthony Ban in Cahose, New York. An autopsy conducted by forensic pathologist Dr. Bernard Ni, confirmed that she died from multiple stab wounds likely inflicted on Saturday, September 13th. There's the home with the crime scene tape. Of course, she also purchased the home in 2015 and she has been living there ever since. So, there's a picture of him. This is a picture of Amanda. That's a picture of him. That's who to look out for. He might have, if he has any resources whatsoever, shaved his beard by now. I don't know. Maybe, who knows what he's actually doing. Anthony Bishand, a local landscaper with no prior criminal history, was last seen at the residence at around 12:26 p.m. on September 13th. So, they definitely have ring cam or something because it's a pretty specific time. Surveillance and license plate readers tracked his white 2024 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck leaving the scene shortly after the estimated time of death. So, even if someone saw this vehicle heading north in the direction I just showed you there, if it jogs your memory for that day, Sunday the which one was it? Sunday the 14th of September. Maybe you saw something. Maybe you remember the car, the way the guy looked, what he was last seen wearing, maybe even if he had a hoodie on, a shirt, whatever. Whatever tip you have, please remember to call that in. Right.
So, Anthony Bishand, as we know, left the area at about 12:26 a.m. on Saturday. And so, we have looked at this. Yes. Okay. His truck was discovered abandoned later that Sunday, September 14th of 2025 on County Route 60 near Route 86 in the town of Brighton, Franklin County. This is about 150 miles north in this mountainous area. Adirondacks. Did I say it right now? Adirondacks. I got like a hundred emails and millions of comments, people trying to help me pronounce it, but Adirondacks. Okay. Near Paul Smith's College and close to the Canadian border. The vehicle showed no signs of him, prompting an immediate large-scale search. The manhunt has expanded to include the Ray Brook area and surrounding woods. So, he could be running around the woods. We do not know if he has any military experience or experience outdoors surviving any survival training. We do not know that. For example, Travis Decker, another manhunt we have just we've been following for 3 months. Uh, they believe that his remains were found. They're waiting for proper DNA confirmation, but the US Marshals have has declared Travis Decker deceased. And so the thing is after 3 months they found his remains and he had a lot of survival training. So imagine this guy if he has no survival training. That's that's got to be rough to be out there on your own on foot in the woods and probably injured on the left hand side. New York State Police leading with helicopters, drones, bloodhounds, Cahose Police Department, all
of these agencies. You just saw the US Customs Border Protection. They are monitoring the border sensors for potential crossings and local federal partners are involved in the manhunt.
The challenges obviously are the area, the terrain, the woods. They haven't, no one seen him. No one saw him near the vehicle when he abandoned it or anything like that. And now more challenges that they revealed in today's press conference would be it's now uh almost hunting season. So yes, while there's more eyes and ears, the message needs to get out to those eyes and ears. If there's going to be hunters out there, well, if he's deceased, they're going to find him, right? Hunters will find. And so or or if they have dogs with them or anything like that. Either way, more eyes and ears is great. Hunters in the area, great. Okay, but they need to know.
So, please make sure you share. Especially if you what if you know a hunter who lives around that area, then could you please send this to them so that they know and then they could tell their friends. Okay, so the authorities said do not approach him. Report any sightings of him immediately. So, there is another picture of him that you can see.

So, Anthony Tony G. Bishand is a white male, approximately 5'11, 180 lb with brown hair and hazel eyes. Unknown what he was last wearing, but he may be in outdoor gear suitable for the this area. As a landscaper, he's familiar with rural areas. Okay. Uh here's the numbers to call if you don't remember them or can't find them or whatever it is. It's always in the description box. It's always on screen here, but you can also just call 911 and say, "I'm calling about the manhunt for Anthony Bishan or the manhunt happening in upstate New York. I think I've seen the guy or whatever it is." Do that.
And yeah, Amanda Rodriguez, we've gone over a lot about her in part one, so please do go check that out. I don't want to make this episode too long cuz I want to make sure that people will watch it, especially if they're new to the case. Please go, I don't mean any disrespect to her. Please go watch part one cuz we went over where she was born and where she's from, which is the Malone area and all of that, right? Shame, man. This is absolutely heartbreaking. I really hope that they will catch him, that there will be justice for Amanda. And yeah, we know very little about what happened, what could have triggered it or any of that. We don't know anything. We just know that she died from multiple stab wounds in her home. My goodness. So, and that a friend found her because her mom was very worried about her. So, that's what we have for now.

But they didn't say that. So, we're still waiting, right?
