SEO agencies charge $5 to $10,000 a month for I'm about to show you how to build completely for free. I built an AI SEO tool using cloud code powered by the data for SEO API that audits any website, runs keyword research, spies on competitors, checks your back links, and generates a client-ready PDF report, all with one prompt.
By the end of this video, you'll have the same exact tool installed on your computer completely for free. Here's the thing that nobody's talking about. Local businesses are desperate for SEO help right now, but they can't afford $5,000 a month agencies. And on the flip side, you've got people who want to start their AI agency, but they don't have the tools to deliver. This solves both problems.
Let me show you how this works. And then I'm going to show you step by step how to install this. So you can run this on your own website or send it to your client. So with that being said, let's jump right in.
Now, before I show you how this works and how to install this step by step for free, let me show you what it produces. I ran one command on a real local business, Atlas Heating. It's an HVAC company in the San Francisco Bay area. And it generated this entire SEO report. Take a look at this.
Overall score, 52 out of 100. Their keywords look strong. The website is technically clean, but they have a backlink problem. So, they have potential, but they're stuck. The tool estimated that they're getting about 1,200 organic visits a month from Google. And here's the important part. Every number in this report is real data directly from data for SEO API, which is one of the most popular SEO tools in the market. So we're not just guessing. This is the same data that a $5,000 a month SEO agencies use.
Now look at the executive summary here. The Claude figured out that exactly what's wrong with their business here. They're a small website competing against giants like Yelp, Facebook, BBB, and Angie for every search in their city. And they have almost no blog content, which means Google has nothing to rank them for. Then it gave a step-by-step action plan ranked by what to fix first. Five blog posts they should write, specific titles, things like barrier, furnace replacement, cost guide, and heat pump versus furnace. These are searches that are happening right now in their area and they're not showing up for.
Again, if you're an AI agency looking to sell services, this is where you come in. I'm going to talk about that in a little bit. Anyways, so quick wins. These are the kind of fixes that take about 30 minutes, but move the needle immediately. Then a full list of every keyword they're ranking for, how much each one is worth, and where they sit in Google. Look at this one. Heating repair services, 1,000 searches a month, $50 per click. They're sitting at position 14, almost on page one. They just need to push a little harder. And finally, the competitive landscape, exactly who's beating them in their market. This entire report was generated with one command, real data, agency-level analysis.
Now, let me show you how I got this and how to install this so that way you can run this on any website yourselves. So, as you can see right here, I'm inside my Visual Studio Code. Don't worry if you don't know how to install this. I'm going to show you how to do this in a little bit. But just a quick overview. So, this PDF was generated based on the Claude code, um, uh, data that was generated. So, all of this was ran using this one simple CL command on top right here. All I did was ran `run SEO-audit` and then, uh, `atlasheating.com`, right? And `atlasheating.com` is basically, uh, this is the, uh, local area service as you can see right here. They're located in Oakland, California. So this is a real company. I just basically, uh, ran that command and it went through and got everything and generated the PDF at the end. And as you can see right here in the bottom. So this is the summary it gives after this is generated and everything else, uh, that's required. And by the way, as I mentioned before, this is powered for powered by data for SEO API, which I'm going to show you how to also sign up for. They have a free account that you can sign up for and run this. So that way you're getting real data.
So as you can see right here, if I just type SEO, all of these commands are available for me, right? And I'm going to show you how to install this with one command. So that way you have access to all of this. All right.
So the first thing you need to do is you need to head over to Visual Studio Code, uh, uh, code.visualstudio.com. This is basically an IDE so that way you can run cloud code and all of the files, everything is one, uh, environment. By the way, it's free to install. So click on download for if you're running a Mac or, um, PC. Go ahead and download that. After you download it, let me close this so that we can start new. Uh, you're going to come, let me get rid of this. It's going to look, so when you open it, it's going to look something like this. The first thing you need to do is you need to install Claude code. So you're going to head over and click on these little icons called extensions. You're going to search for Claude code. If I could type. I've already installed it. So mine's not going to, I'm not going to install again. As you can see, it's this one. So you just go ahead and you install it. And after you install this and you can get rid of this, you can double click here and this little icon right here, the Claude icon will show up. If you click on it, now you have Claude installed here. So let me go back here. If I click on files, these are all the files that's available for me. I'm going to get rid of this. So now I have Claude code installed here inside my Visual Studio Code. Okay.
So after you come here, you're going to click on top right here, this little icon here called toggle panel. This is going to open up the terminal. Let me clear this. Yours is going to look something like this. Your Mac name and it's going to be, uh, this kind of clear black screen. So, all you need to do is just run this one command and everything will be installed for you. Now, that one command, I'm going to put the link in the description to this GitHub profile or to this GitHub link. Again, all of this is available for you guys completely for free. Just click on the link and it's going to bring you right here. So, all you have to do is come down here and just copy this command. Okay.
So once you copy it, and by the way, I'm going to go over this GitHub repo to tell you exactly what it is because all of the skills are inside this GitHub. So that way you can run it yourself very easily. So I'm going to go back to my Visual Studio Code. Come back here. I'll paste that. Now before I press enter, by the way, so right now if I go to my Claude and press / SEO, as you can see, nothing appears here SEO related, right? I have my other commands, but SEO related, nothing is there. So now if I go back here and just press enter. So let me actually get rid of this first. I just wanted to show you that right now it's not there. But if I press enter, this will install everything. There you go. So if I, let me expand this a little bit. As you can see, uh, it says installation complete, right? You have all of these different sub-skills that are available for you now. So now everything is good to go. Your screen should look something similar. Let me go back here now. So now you have to click on the Claude instant again because we have to basically restart Claude. So, I'm just going to click on this, get rid of the previous one. Let me get rid of this. And now, if I press the, um, slash and type SEO, there you go. All of these commands are now available for me. Right? Very simple. So, as soon as you, uh, copy paste that command and press enter, all of these SEO commands are available to you now.
Now, let me actually quickly go over how this happened. What are these different commands and why they're here and why it was very easy to install, uh, with that one command. So if I go back to my, uh, GitHub repo here. So again, all of this is available for you guys for free. So again, as you can see, I have this nice little readme file so that way you guys can go through and check out the full details if you're interested. So I have this quick overview of what these different commands do. So for instance, the SEO audit that we ran earlier on that Atlas heating, it's a full audit. It generates a composite score and it's PDF ready and it has a bunch of, we have a bunch of other commands that you can run like SEO quick SEO keywords. If you just want to search for keywords or if you just want to take a look at the technical site crawl, you just run SEO technical. If you just want to look at the competitor map, you run SEO competitors. If you want to look at the backlink profile and toxicity, so on and so forth. So, take a look at this when you get a chance. This is the installation guide right here. And obviously we're going to take a look at, um, data for SEO credentials because that's a real API that we're going to use. So I'm going to show you exactly how to do that in a little bit here. So in the bottom, as you can see, it gives you like a little overview of what's inside, what are the different, what are the different commands, what are the different skills that are inside, and also gives you a quick cost here. So if you run a full audit, it uses about 10 to 30 cents of your data for SEO credit. Gives you little requirements and everything else. And on top right here, these are different files, which we're going to go over in a little bit.
All right, so let's get back to our Visual Studio Code. And at the bottom, I'm just going to go ahead and, uh, let's go ahead and run another audit. So, I'm just going to do `SEO-audit`. There you go. Press tab. Now, let's go ahead and figure out what, um, business you want to run this to. So, this time I'm going to go ahead and choose, uh, Phil's Coffee, right? Phil's Coffee in the Bay Area is like a very popular, um, coffee chain, you know? So, I mean, it's a pretty big business. So, let me go ahead and just copy and paste this. You can, by the way, run this on any, of course, any, uh, business you're looking for. Earlier, we ran it on an HVAC company. You can run it for, you know, a plumber, electrician, whatever it may be. So, now I'm going to go ahead and just paste this. So, now as soon as I do `SEO-audit` and the site, uh, address, I'm going to press enter.
So now you'll see it's going to go ahead and now run this `SEO-audit` skills file, which is inside that GitHub repo. The first thing it's going to ask me that the data for SEO API credentials need to be set up before I can run the SEO audit. Please follow the setup wizard. It gives you a nice little setup guide here. It says data, data for SEO API setup required. The skill needs data for SEO API credential to fetch real Google SEO data. And this is very important, right? And by the way, once you do this, once you don't have to do it again, it will automatically recognize the credentials next time.
So the first step is you need to, uh, sign up for a free account. Click on the link in the description. It's going to take you directly right here where you can sign up for a data for SEO free account, right? So just go ahead and do personal email or you can do business email, but do personal email, of course, if you're using it for yourself. Oh, by the way, make sure you're clicking on the link in the description to get here because this will give you $5 of trial credit, which again is plenty for you to run up to 30 or 20, 30 full audits, right? Because if you go directly go to data for SEO's website and you click on the link there to sign up, that only gives you $1 trial. Since Data for SEO is one of our sponsored partners, they've been kind enough to provide us an extra $4 for everybody who clicks on the link below.
Okay, go ahead and fill in your information here. I already have an account, so, uh, I'm just going to go ahead and and, uh, open mine. So, let me go back here. This is my account. I, I have like $20 in there, but again, they give you $5 for free, and that's plenty for you to run like, uh, audits. I think you can run up to like, with the $5, with the $1, you can run up to like five, six full audits. So, you should be good to go.
Okay. So, once you fill in your information, uh, this is going to be your dashboard. If you, uh, signed up for a trial, I think it's going to require verification. So, just go ahead and go through the verification process. I think all all you have to do is just, um, give your phone number and they send a verification and you're good to go. So, one thing you need to do is you want to make sure that as soon as you come in here that your, uh, backlinks APIs is active. So, mine's already active. I just did very quickly, like it's an active trial. It gives you a 7-day free trial. You're just going to click on activate and it will activate it for you. The backlinks. If you can't find it there, I think it's inside playground right here. You're going to click on backlinks and you're going to go ahead and activate this via that free trial.
So, after you do all of that, after the verification is complete, you're going to click on API access. And right here, your password is going to be visible. Uh, so go ahead and copy that and then also your API login, which is going to be your email. So, I'm just going to go ahead and copy my, um, email here and then also the password because that's what we're going to need in order to activate this, cuz that's what's asking for, right? It's asking for login and a password. So, I'm just going to go ahead and say login. Provide this my email. And then the password is the one that we just copied, which is going to look something like this. There you go. So, you're just going to enter this. By the way, make sure you don't share your password with anybody. Obviously, I'm going to go ahead and, uh, remove this account afterwards. So that way, nobody uses my password here. But you just provide your login email and password that you got from your API access right here. Okay. And by the way, if after 24 hours, uh, this API password disappears. So all you have to do is just click on send by email and they will send you a new password. Okay.
All right. So, once you come back here, all you have to do is press enter. So now it's going to activate our data for SEO. So it's going to go ahead and look for that now to make sure that it's valid and that there's some balance in there, right? So let's go ahead and let this thing finish a couple minutes. Okay, I'm just going to go yes, allow. By the way, the first time you do this, it might ask you a few times to give it permission for certain things. So just go ahead and do that. So there you go. It says credentials verified. Running your SEO audit on philscoffee.com now spawning five specialist sub-agents in parallel. There you go.
So now it's running five agents simultaneously. The first agent is going to do keyword analysis. The second agent is going to backlink audit. The, the second, the third, fourth, and fifth. All of this is happening because of our skills.md file. So if I go back to my GitHub here, inside my skills, if I go to SEO audit and click on skills.md file. So here's what's going to happen is basically as when we type that SEO audit on our, uh, Visual Studio code, all of this is running based on this skills.md files instructions. Now, for those of you who are not familiar with what skills.md is, basically skills is a way to give Claude code the ability to become a domain expert. So, all of these instructions that are here in this page or in this skills file is what our, um, Claude code is following. Right? So, as you can see right here, the phase one it says spawn five sub-agents in parallel. Right? So, that's what's happening. That's exactly what we saw in our Visual Studio code. Phase two is the complete composite. That's the five sub-agents is the first one is SEO keywords, SEO technical, SEO competitors, SEO content, and SEO backlinks. And as you can see, these are the different tasks for each sub-agent that it's running. Like the first one is doing keyword analysis for the domain, which is again our, uh, philscoffee.com in our case and yours, it could be whatever business you're running, uh, that particular SEO audit for. It's going to return JSON with keyword score 0 to 100, top opportunities, right? Second one is going to be to run technical audit for, um, you know, that particular business again, 100 pages. It returns JSON with technical score from 0 to 100 and critical issues and crawl summary. The third one is going to do run top 10 competitors for your domain. Same thing. The fourth one is doing SEO analysis, content analysis for topical authority. And the third one is doing audit backlink profile. That's why we enabled our backlinks inside our data for SEO to make sure that our fit sub-agent is be able to do its thing. And then phase two is going to be computing the composite. It's going to give that nice little score. Phase two is going to be building the JSON audit. Right? So it's going to basically present the summary. Phase four is going to be presenting the summary here and offer a PDF generation report as well. So, as you can see, all of that instruction is inside our, uh, this skill.md file, which we ran `SEO-audit`. And same thing, all of these other skills that are here, we're giving Claude code instructions. So, for example, if you just run `SEO-backlinks`, right? It's going to follow this skills.md file that's inside this particular skills or this particular command, right? So, same thing, so on and so forth. And then, uh, you'll see in a little bit we'll run an `SEO-report-PDF`. So that way we can see all of these results compiled in that nice little PDF that we looked at in the beginning.
So let me go ahead and see what's going on with our Visual Studio Code. So it looks like it's still working. Depending on what business you're running, this might take a little bit of time. It might take a couple of minutes because it's a very extensive research and obviously you have to have your Claude code paid account, otherwise this is not going to work. Uh, but honestly, like the best advice I can give you is just have that max, uh, Claude code or Claude max plan. It's totally worth the investment. I think it's like $100 a month or something like that. But as you can see, just quickly, agent one, two, three, right? The first one is running keyword analysis. Second one is doing technical SEO audit, third one competitor analysis, and then, uh, fourth one is backlink, and then the fifth one is, I think, let's see, it's all the way in the bottom, I think. Yeah. So each of these agents have their own set of commands that they're running. So there you go. It looks like it's finishing up. So it says SEO audit philscoffee.com composite score 49 out of 100. So let's go ahead and it's going to give you like a nice little executive summary, key metrics, and top five issues. There you go. Top five critical issues. It gives you that and it's going to go ahead and show it's going to tell me that this output is saved in this, uh, uh, file path right here. There you go. So it's pretty much done. Says data source, data for SEO API. It gives you, uh, the endpoints there that which endpoints was used for this audit. And the way to check this, by the way, if you go back to your data for SEO account and you head over to usage, go to unified overview, it's going to actually give you, uh, um, kind of like a summary of the expenses that it ran. So there you go. This is how you know that data for SEO APIs were actually used. So there you go. It shows you exactly the expense summary. So, I've been running a bunch of audits and it's only been costing me $1.50. So, it's not that expensive. So, as you can see on May 5th, this was May 4th, it was yesterday, and this is today. So, we just ran this one. Um, and it shows you all of the different, uh, use cases or usages for these APIs. And by the way, on the APIs, I forgot if you didn't, um, um, do this already. On the API access when you click it, it'll, it will ask you which APIs you want to select. So make sure you're selecting the SER API, keywords data API, labs review, all of this stuff, and then, um, so that way it can give you, um, your account has access to everything it needs.
Okay. So now let's go back. Obviously, this is something that we can read right here. But if you want to generate that little nice little PDF report, all we have to do is run this particular skill, which is called `SEO-report-PDF`. So if I open this, right, this just basically says, uh, generate a nice little PDF report based on, and of course, it's going to check to make sure that you have your credentials. But once we, but since we already gave it credentials, it's not going to ask for that again. So let's go ahead and same thing, type slash SEO. And this time you can either type it or you can just kind of come down here and grab this `SEO-report-PDF`. So I'm going to press tab. And then it even tells you right here that you can run this. So I'm just going to go ahead and copy this again. Copy and paste. Press enter.
So now it's going to take a couple of seconds and it's going to basically generate a nice little PDF report instead of you looking into, uh, you know, this. There you go. So it generated this. This was the previous one. Let me get rid of that. There you go. This is the new one. Let me open this a little bit. Zoom in. All right. So, right at the top here, it shows you that this is the SEO audit for phils.com or philscoffee.com. Gives you the overall scores. Same thing. 70 keywords, technical 55, authority 74. And it gives you a nice little, uh, executive summary of, um, Phil's coffee is a textbook strong brand, weak SEO profile, right? It dominates its own brand queries, but it has earned, um, but it has not built any non-brand, uh, topical authority. And it makes sense, like, uh, uh, Phil's coffee is a very local, beloved, uh, b San Francisco Bay Area beloved chain, but I don't think they do a lot of SEO or any kind of like outside keyword utilization. So, as you can see, it has 196,000 monthly organic visits, which makes sense because again, they're a very popular, uh, local coffee chain. Gives you ranking keywords, backlinks, referring domains, spam score, blah, blah, blah. Everything else critical, right? Priority, 85% of backlinks point to broken pages, audit recent URL structure changes, and add 301 redirects from old URLs to current, um, canonicals. Says 10,000 of 11,000 backlinks are pointing to dead pages. Again, that's definitely very critical. Uh, the second one, Cloudflare blocks SEO crawlers, right? Says go to, it tells you exactly what to do. Go to Cloudflare Security bots, disable bot fight mode or add a WAF skip rule for verified search SEO crawlers like Google bot, Bing bot, data for SEO, AHEF, and Semrush. Right? It gives you all of the different details just like we walked through in the previous one. Top keyword opportunities, right? Phil's coffee volume is that high, coffee roaster near me, Phil's coffee near me, store open Christmas Day, coffee places near me, all of the details you need, competitive landscape, it gives you all of the details, so on and so forth.
So, you can go ahead and run the same thing. By the way, now for those of you who don't own your own business and are looking to start an AI agency, this is exactly what you can come in where you can come in and say, "Hey, look, you send this report to your, uh, potential client."
