This was a super fun day of football besides Roma Dunay dropping zero points for me when the Chicago Bears scored 47. Obviously, we knew Caleb Williams was a great streamer this week. It was just the implied team total you had against the Cincinnati Bengals defense. The Bengals defense is horrible and is one of the two defenses in fantasy this year that you 100% need to be attacking when you're submitting your starting lineup.
I didn't know where to rank Kyle Manungai initially when DeAndre Swift was ruled out, but we had underdog coming through and projecting Kyle Manungai only behind Bejon Taylor, CMC, and Jir Gibbs this week as the RB5. So, I ranked him as a running back one, called him a must-start name, and if you started him, congrats to you. It was mainly the matchup here. But if DeAndre Swift were to miss this next week, we did see with this PFF snap data that it was pretty much just the Kyle Manungai showing this backfield. So, he would be a must-start running back next week.
Going over and looking at the wide receivers, I I don't know what happened with Roma Dunce. Please, for the love of God, let me know in the comment section. I traded Cam Scataboo for the guy and all of a sudden I would be better off with Cam Scataboo on my team because at least I wouldn't have him in my starting lineup scoring zero. Roma ran 44 routes out of 44 potential dropbacks. He was out there on the field literally every single snap. He scores zero points. Unbelievably bad.
Um, this was a game you had no Luther Burden. So DJ Moore, Olamine Zakias are both out there running 30-plus routes. And the number one breakout that we have from today's at least with the waiver wire that we'll talk about on Wednesday morning. So just make sure you're subscribed is Coloulston Lovelin. You had Cole KT leaving this game with a concussion. Kmet only ran a total of four routes before going down. And Lovelin, who is the number one tight end taken in this year's draft, took him in a ton of underdog basketball drafts. Absolutely love the prospect profile, finally comes through with a massive 100-yard receiving, multiple receiving touchdown day. I'm going to rank him as a tight end one rest of season. I'll say I don't think he's immediately a top three tight end like Brock Bowers is though because again, you're not expecting Caleb Williams in this offense to be this good every single week going into the future.
But then going over to Cincinnati, we were told that you actually did have this as a pretty severe injury for Joe Flaccoa where he was going to be limited. Frankly, it didn't matter. He had 470 passing yards, four passing touchdowns. And the big thing that I want to focus in on outside of TA against Jamar Chase turning into must-start names is the Chase Brown usage. Chase Brown saw 14 targets in this game, 11 carries. And if you look at this chart from PFF, you will see that Chase Brown is back to where he was at the end of last season. Um, pretty much as a running back that is playing literally every single down. And with that, I am going to have to be moving Chase Brown up our rest of season ranks. And he looks like a must-start running back every week going into the future.
Now, I had to play against Drake London this week. It was horrendous. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. And London does look like he is that elite wide receiver rest of season. He has 14 targets out of a potential 34 pass attempts from Michael Penn in this game. And then you have Bejan Robinson still very clearly being the elite bell cow running back. He played 54 snaps where you only had 56 total snaps in this offense. So he was out there every single play while at the same time of course you had him getting involved as a receiver with a total of 10 targets in this contest. So Bejon elite, Drake London elite, nobody else is that exciting outside of Cal Pitts as a low-end tight end one.
Then going over the New England Patriots, Drake May continues to be a must-start quarterback every single week. I had Drake May as like the QB5 coming into this contest. He's probably going to stay right around there. Looking at their running back usage, I literally did not know who Terrell Jennings was just three days ago. I saw him first on a team review that we were doing on a live stream and I went, "Who the hell is this Terrell Jennings guy and why he's on your roster? Get him off your team." I I literally didn't know who he was. And yet, they still decide to use him instead of going through and just giving Trevon Henderson absolutely everything. Now, don't get me wrong, Henderson had the majority of usage. It was just once you get to the goal line, they're freaking throwing Terrell Jennings out there. But Trevian probably will be that borderline top 24 running back yet again this next week if you have no Madre cuz he's going to catch the ball. And you did actually get an injury here, I believe, to Kahan Booty. And if that is going to be the case going into the future, Stefon Diggs is more exciting if he's going to miss time. Diggs did have the receiving touchdown in this game, but he only had four targets. I would not rush out there to pick up Deari Douglas.
Now, the next game that we're going to have to look at will be the Chargers Titans. Um, here the big story, at least in my mind, is going to be the Joe Alt injury. We are really excited about Kamani Vidal last week because you had Joe Alt coming back in. You had no Hassan Haskins. I thought that was going to carry over to this week. Joe Alt goes down. It looks serious. Looks like he's going to need surgery. So yeah, this offensive line with the combination of injuries that they are dealing with is going to be one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL going into the rest of the season. Very, very sad. Herbert gets there with the rushing touchdown, still playable. Kamani Vidal's usage does go down dramatically. Um, and looking at the receivers, it's just very difficult to trust anybody here now that Gadston is at the very top of this team's receiving mark almost every single week at this point. I mean, Gadston does come away with the team lead of 68 receiving yards. Thank God Quinton Johnston helped out my underdog basketball teams with the receiving touchdown. I don't know if Quinton Johnston is going to be trustworthy going into the future because again, this is now going to be a worse offense with the offensive line injury of Joe Alt. And they are just now having to spread the ball out to four meaningful pass catchers.
Now, going over to the Tennessee Titan end of things, um, nobody's interesting. Literally nobody. I know I told y'all, "Oh yeah, we're not interested in Shamir DK goes out there, he scores a touchdown. Who cares?" Okay, it's a Tennessee Titans offense. Your roster, Tony Pollard, Taja Spears, and that's it. Just because if one of them were to go down, the other guy turns into a startable name. But yeah, no pass catchers are exciting to say the least.
Now going over to the Indianapolis Colts Pittsburgh Steelers. Um here Daniel Jones actually has to play from behind for the majority of the game. You see 50 Daniel Jones pass attempts. This leads to 13 targets for Alec Pierce, 12 targets for Michael Pitman Jr., nine targets for Josh DS. They all get there. Surprisingly enough, Tyler Warren's not super exciting in this, but I'm not changing my mind with Tyler Warren. Tyler Warren's still going to be a top-level tight end rest of season. I'm just like Jonathan Taylor is still going to be an elite-level running back rest of season. This game doesn't really change much at all with how you view these Colts players.
Now, the Pittsburgh Steelers here, the main thing that I want to point out is the usage that you have with Jaylen Warren. Jaylen Warren in this game comes through with 35 snaps. But you have Kenneth Gainwell with 23. Now, frankly, it doesn't matter too much because Jaylen Warren has 16 carries in comparison to Kenneth Gainwell with three. Jaylen Warren at the same time we've seen so far this season be involved as a receiver. So, Jaylen Warren still probably remains a must-start running back going into the future. I have DK Metcalf on my team. I've been trying to sell him for quite some time. We've been talking about it in videos as well. Just because the target volume hasn't been consistent. So, if the touchdown's not there, if the big play is not going to be there, DK Metcalf's going to have a bad fantasy day, which is kind of exactly what happened.
Now, moving over to the Niners and New York Giants. I think this was the last game that we had with M. Jones. I think we should be getting Brock Purdy back this next week. And you had a massive McCaffrey blow-up based off the Jonathan Taylor performance. Maybe we move CMC back to the running back one slot overall in our ranks. They just flip-flop back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. I mean, it's really just going to be up to you. Jawan Jennings gets there with a receiving touchdown. Um, this is a little bit of a continued trend where George Kittle isn't dominating to the extent that you were expecting coming into the season. So, there is an outside chance that we do end up having to move George Kittle down our rankings just slightly. But hopefully this next week you're going to be getting the combination of Brock Purdy and Ricky Priesthood back in this offense and it'll be a little bit different.
Now going over to the New York Giants. Um, we actually have Jackson Dart still getting there because the rushing upside is immense. Dart with the rushing touchdown, 56 rushing yards. Looks like a low-end quarterback one rest of season despite everybody being injured. Every single pass catcher. Well, Robinson in a full PPR format gets there with the nine receptions. Obviously, if you're playing in a half PPR league, like if you drafted an underdog basketball team there, maybe Wandell's a little less exciting, but full PPR formats, you're completely fine. And then I don't necessarily think that anybody else here, the receiver mark, is going to matter. But the number one thing that I want to be pointing out for the Giants offense is the running back usage. I thought that Tyrone Tracy was an absolute locked and loaded top 24 running back this week. I thought he was an absolute locked and loaded top 24 running back rest of season and that looks like it's not even remotely close to being the case. You actually have Devin Singletary playing 32 snaps in comparison to Tyrone Tracy at 25. And you have Devin Singletary seeing a total of eight carries in comparison to Tyrone Tracy with five. And Tyrone Tracy only has a total of three receptions in comparison to Deon Singletary at two. So, Tyron Tracy is not talented enough to be a running back that you can put into your starting lineup if he's in a 50-50 committee.
Now, going over to the Denver Broncos, the Houston Texans. Um, this game had a super low over/under, so it was pretty easy to know, hey, just bench these guys, bench Bo Nix. Um, but it's mainly due to the Texans offense being elite. JK Dobbins was an easy bench just because, you know, he is a touchdown or bust running back with no receiving role and it was a very bad matchup. Um, but RJ Harvey does score a touchdown here. Now, realistically, did you have RJ Harvey in your starting lineup? Probably not. But if you went with like Harvey higher than 32 and a half total yards on Underdog Fantasy for today, obviously you are printing. Now, going over and looking at what we have with the pass catchers, Courtland Sutton gets there with a receiving touchdown. So, if you started him, you kind of lucked out. In reality, I don't think you could have um been starting him with confidence. I don't think you could have started Troy Franklin with confidence just because it was a horrible matchup against Houston Texans. Very similar to how we know you start every player you have against the Dallas Cowboys defense against the Cincinnati Bengals defense. You probably want to bench every player that you have going up against Houston. Um here you had Davis Mills playing the majority of the game for the Texans where you had CJ Stroud with the concussion. At the running back spot you had Nick Chubb, 11 carries in comparison to Woody Marks with 10. I'm not going to lie to you. I played against Woody Marks this week and I was nervous for whatever reason. I thought Woody Marks had taken over as the starting running back. I thought Woody Marks was going to get consistent involvement as a receiver and I was worried about what he was going to be doing against my fantasy team. He does nothing and it looks like no Texans running backs are startable at this point. It is hilarious that everybody starts Dalton Schultz last week and he does nothing and now all of a sudden you have Nico Collins back in and Dalton Schultz finally gets there. But in reality, the only player I think you can actually start in Houston is going to be Nico Collins.
Now moving over to the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions. Um here the Lions were favored by almost nine points. So I thought the Lions DST was a great start this week. That's who I went with. And turns out JJ McCarthy's not that bad at this. JJ McCarthy gets the rushing touchdown, two passing touchdowns. Um, one thing that will be interesting to point out is Aaron Jones did get banged up in this game. So, the snaps look a lot better for Jordan Mason. And if Aaron Jones were to miss this next week, you do have Jordan Mason back to being somebody that you can start with confidence. But, of course, it is tough to project that out right now where we don't know the status of Aaron Jones just yet. And then with Justin Jefferson remains a must-start player regardless. With Jordan Addison, again, I just think that the passing volume here is going to take a hit with McCarthy. So, less exciting than he was previously. And you can kind of say the same thing with TJ Hockenson, even though Hock did get there with the receiving touchdown.
Now, going over to the Detroit Lions, clearly Detroit doesn't like playing in this type of game environment. The game environment in which they pretty much trail from uh the very beginning where they have to abandon the run, get 37 Jared Goff pass attempts to 20 rushing attempts for this team. Um, and here I'll say that obviously you still have upside with Jared Goff in games in which you're going to have 30-plus pass attempts, but it's going to come rarely. Um, and obviously we know Goff's not going to run the ball at all. Um, David Montgomery does get the goal-line touchdown over Jahmyr Gibbs here. And looking at the pass catchers, Sam LaPorta remains a locked and loaded tight end one every single week. Amon-Ra St. Brown got banged up in this game. Looked pretty scary. He was fine. He was right back out there. And then you had Jamo finally scoring that touchdown. But again, we've talked about this a thousand times now. Jameson Williams, decent underdog player because in baseball, he's going to randomly give you these usable weeks, but trying to predict when those are going to come will be extremely difficult. So yeah, he's still just a fringe wide receiver. You're going to have a lot of dud weeks, occasional boom week. Amon-Ra St. Brown must-start name. Jahmyr Gibbs must-start name. Obviously, he's not an S-tier running back. We've talked about that at length. Um, and Sam LaPorta locked and loaded, tight end one. Not much to discuss.
Now, one thing that actually does change this week, and I know I told you everything that has changed, but in reality, not much has changed. It's week 10, but some things do need to get updated is this coaching staff was not lying to us in Carolina when they told us that Rico Dowdle is back to being their starting running back. Rico Dowdle 25 carries to Chuba Hubbard with five. Rico Dowdle with multiple receptions. There was only one player that had more than two receptions for this Carolina Panthers offense and that was Thielen. McMillan. Dowdle was the second leading receiver. So Rico Dowdle is back to being absolutely everything for the Panthers. I didn't know if we could trust it the first week back in because horrible matchup against the Packers where they were like two touchdown dogs, but they end up winning this game. And then going over and looking at Green Bay, you have the devastating injury for Tucker Kraft. So now with the injury to Tucker Kraft, the injury to Jaden Reed, they are running out of pass catchers and it does look like Romeo Doubs was going to be a much better option going into the future. I started Josh Jacobs. Jacobs, one of the top running backs on my fantasy team. It was frustrating to see how much work Emanuel Wilson was getting, but um still Jacobs gets there with the rushing touchdown. And if it's going to keep Jacobs healthy, I'm not going to cry about it.
Now, going over to the Saints, we already knew immediately that Tyler Shough was going to be a disaster because sports books had the New Orleans Saints far and away as the worst offense in the league this week. That's exactly what happened. And I mean, we've talked about it at length, but Kamara career low yards per attempt, yards per target. He looks straight up washed beyond belief. Kamara not startable anymore. And then if like every week going into the future now with Tyler Shough, the Saints offense projects out to be this bad, even if Chris Olave and Shahed are getting a considerable amount of targets every week, it will be tougher to start them because if y'all remember like we had game after game after game where the Saints projections would be like, "Oh, they're going to score 21 points this week. Oh, they're going to score um 22 points. They're going to score 20 points." This week they had an implied team total of like 14 and a half. Like it does look like sports books are just saying that Tyler Shough is significantly worse than Spencer Rattler. We'll see what the projections are this next week.
Going over the Rams, Matthew Stafford's incredible. The Rams are Super Bowl contenders. They're massive favorites in this game. You knew they're going to be able to run the ball a ton with Kyren. That's exactly what happens. And then going over to the receivers, Puka Nacua does get banged up, but Sean McVay's come out and he said, "Hey, don't worry about it. Puka is gonna be good. Um, we could have played him at the end of the game if it wasn't for the fact that this was a blowout. And then obviously Davante Adams comes in. Davante Adams with multiple receiving touchdowns as well. This is the most concentrated offense that I literally can ever remember seeing where it only gets funneled through Kyren, Puka, Davante Adams, and nobody else touches the ball.
Now, going over to the Jags and Raiders. So, Trevor Lawrence, you'd never consider starting obviously. Um, Travis Etienne I had in my starting lineup and I'm going to have in my starting lineup most weeks going to the future and I can't tell you how pissed I am that they get to the goal line. We see Bell now. Why the hell are y'all using Tank Bigsby as your goal-line running back to vulture touchdowns from Travis Etienne from me? Um, it is nice seeing Etienne go over 100 yards have 27 total opportunities. I'll say that of course, Tank Bigsby and Trevor Lawrence vulture the rushing touchdowns from him which absolutely sucks. But now that Brian Thomas is banged up with the ankle injury and you have no Brian Thomas and no Travis Hunter I don't really have much interest at all with Trevor Lawrence because I just think that this offense all of a sudden is going to be so bad.
Then going over to the Raiders finally, this is what you were thinking the Raiders offense was going to be coming into the season. You actually have Aidan O'Connell looking viable. You actually have Brock Bowers being a league winner. And if y'all remember going back to those underdog basketball drafts, we were taking so many shares of Brock Bowers. I loved Brock Bowers in the middle to the end of the second round and I could not stop from drafting him. Now, it looked very, very stupid when Brock Bowers was out there playing with the knee brace and Brock Bowers was not fully healthy. But I pray to God that those teams can sneak into the playoff tournaments because Brock Bowers looks like he's right back to being the tight end one in fantasy. The people that made fun of me for ranking him in our rest of season rankings over Jake Ferguson. The comment section's open. Apologies are welcome. Yeah, Bowers is my tight end one rest of season. And if we're going back to where we would rank him in the overall rankings, I'm going to be putting him in like the 15ish range just because that's where I had him before the season. He's clearly fully healthy and he's the player we always thought he was. And then with Aidan O'Connell, um you get the receiving touchdown. Finally involved as a receiver to the extent you thought he would be and he has everything here as a rusher. He's really the only running back that's on the field.
Then going over to the Chiefs Bills game, Worthy is not startable in this offense with the Rashee Rice volume. Travis Kelce is still getting volume in this offense. I would not look at Hollywood Brown. Even though Hollywood has the long reception here, it is Rashee Rice, Patrick Mahomes, and then Travis Kelce at tight end. That's going to be about it. Kareem Hunt got there with the rushing touchdown. But in reality, it's just going to be a running back by committee where it's very difficult for me to ever tell you, "Yeah, let's go start Kareem Hunt with confidence because you have no big play upside and you have no receiving role."
And then going over to the Buffalo Bills, thank you Josh Allen for finally giving us the rushing touchdowns again. James Cook is a straight-up bell cow level running back. He doesn't have any touchdowns this game. Not a massive receiving role, so the fantasy box score doesn't look great, but he has 114 rushing yards and ices the game pretty much at the end of it. And my biggest L that I need to take this week and I owe you a massive apology for is we ranked Dalton Kincaid way too low. Two weeks ago against the Carolina Panthers, Dalton Kincaid played 22% of the snaps. I thought it would be very difficult for me to tell you, yeah, let's go ahead and let's put him into your starting lineup all of a sudden. But with him coming through 100 receiving yards, the receiving touchdown, and six receptions, clearly Dalton Kincaid is always in play based on how good this offense really is.
