Mikayla Nogueira HASN'T CHANGED...(dating, 100k luxury haul, ads)

You guys may want to sit down for this one. And you're going to want to sit down for this video.

It turns out Michaela hasn't changed. I know. I know. Take it all in. Take a minute. Take it in.

I would even go as far as to say Michaela has done the opposite of change. If anything, things have only gotten worse to the point that even her own fans are calling her out on her behavior recently. It's a mess. So, let's get into it.

Before Michaela announced her divorce last month, she got on camera and admitted to her audience that she had lost herself. "I am completely lost and I don't know who I am." She said that she got lost in the influencer lifestyle. She had reconnected with this old friend from high school. And that friend made her realize just how out of touch she had become. She promised that changes would be coming. She acknowledged that her audience didn't want the luxury shopping halls anymore. She made a point of even hiding the brands that she was using, saying people didn't want her shilling products.

"Also, I know people want me to stop mentioning products in my videos. It It's such a habit. Like, I'm just a creature of habit. I'm working on it. Okay. Technique over product. I hear you. Let's talk technique. I love the F4. I see I'm mentioning something. A brush that looks like this. Like, give me a break."

She knew that people meant they were sick of the undisclosed ads, not that they were sick of her saying the name of whatever brand she was using. This was her attempt at playing the victim so people in the comments would tell her how they want to know what she's using so she can feel justified and shilling to us. But still, there was a tiny tiny tiny little shred of hope deep inside of me that thought maybe we really would see a change. Remind me to never ever feel that way about Michaela ever again, please.

Michaela didn't even last three weeks before falling right back into her old ways. She switched back so fast it doesn't even feel right calling it her old ways. It's just her same old ways as always. Not only has she been doing non-stop sponsorships since turning her comments off after her divorce announcement, but she even prefilmed a sponsorship during this video here where she said things would be changing.

"Feedback is super valuable to me. And now that I'm trying to figure my out, what content is your favorite? What content is the reason you're still here? Tell me, what have I done wrong content-wise? What have I done right? What do you like to see? What do you not like to see? I want to create what people want to watch and things that people actually appreciate. You know, like if you guys hate reviews cuz it's pushing product, like I don't want to do that. Thing about me is I love products. Like I just everything new I get excited about. I want to try everything, but I understand that not everybody can afford to buy everything, maybe anything for that matter. So I want to make sure my content is always keeping you in mind. Okay."

So she says that she doesn't want to push product. She doesn't want to do that. Yet she paused the camera right before this to film a sponsored post for Nars. "I am freaking out. Look what just showed up at my door. Naz has a new foundation. No one said anything. I'm I'm like shook."

And yes, okay, let me give her the benefit of the doubt and say maybe this was a commitment that she made before she made that video saying that she's lost herself and came to this big realization. But time and place. Oh my god. Time and place. At least change the outfit or maybe even film it on a different day than when you film this video so it's not so obvious.

And guys, the constant sponsorships is only the start to her latest antics. She also decided to take a post divorce trip to Las Vegas with her friends who she calls the Goofy Goobers. And guess what? She graced us with non-stop luxury shopping hauls. She started the weekend off strong by taking her friend on a luxury shopping spree for her birthday.

"Sam's birthday and I am taking her shopping. Let's see how much damage she does on my credit card." "Give me it. Give me that." "Sam's first stop is Chanel, of course."

And you know, I wouldn't even really count that towards being a luxury shopping haul since it was for her friend's birthday. But of course, it didn't stop there. Michaela also had to go and buy herself some shoes and purses and clothes because obviously she doesn't have enough.

"Bags have been secured." "Next stop, Louis." "They have the Louis Vuitton lipstick case. You know damn well I need this."

And then she ended the shopping spree by taking herself and her friends to get friendship bracelets at Cardier. "Last stop. I think we need some friendship bracelets. One thing about me, I love a friendship bracelet. that." "Oh wow. Oh wow. That's insane."

And you guys know Michaela got herself the most expensive one. "All right, guys. I'm going with the nail. It just looks so good." "Wow." "Wow." "This is absolutely amazing. Friendship bracelets." "This is quite the birthday trip, huh?"

She got the one that's completely iced out instead of the basic one that her friends got. And apparently hers alone set her back $83,000. When Michaela got back to the hotel, she did a haul for Tik Tok and told people, the same people, by the way, who told her that they're sick of luxury halls, that if they don't like luxury hauls, they can scroll.

"This is everything I got shopping in Vegas. Now, if you don't like shopping hauls, my biggest piece of advice is to not watch the video. If it's going to upset you, scroll. I'm giving you a second to scroll."

And this wasn't just her going to Vegas and getting a nice luxury item because they have good prices there. She spent more money than most people would ever make in an entire year. Now, I have always wanted a Cadier bracelet and I went with the nail. All right, let's do Louis Vuitton. We had a lot of fun in there. I even got a dress. This right here is the piece day resistance. Oh my gosh. "$12,300. The Louis Vuitton lipstick trunk. It's for lipstick. And as someone who carries like seven lipsticks at a time, I needed this. Okay, this was a need, not a want." "$3,950 to hold one lipstick." Her logic behind this purchase doesn't even make sense either. She carries a lot of lipstick, so she buys something worth two months rent for most people just to put one lipstick inside of it.

"Okay, I love anything silver and these are so freaking cool. And I wear so much silver that this just made sense for me to have." "$1,290. I got a pair of sunglasses, like period. Okay, I love them. I love the color of the lens. $800. I They're so comfortable. They give me height. I love the shade of blue. These are going to be everything in the summer. Absolutely love them. I couldn't find an exact link for these, but I did find this and it seems like they're around $2,000." And she got multiple pairs along with a bunch of other shoes and clothes, all from Chanel as well. So, I mean, this haul is definitely above $50,000, and that's not including the $83,000 bracelet she bought.

She also went into Louis Vuitton with her friends and they all got matching shoes. "Telling me we're three bad and we don't own red bottoms. That's a crime." "That changes today. They'll be uncomfortable and take a long time to break in, but once they are iconic. Sydney is sold on the OG classic." "A girl's best friend. Something a little little taller." "Love friendship." "I love being a woman."

And look, this is fine. It's her money. Waste it how you like. But when your audience who affords you this lifestyle says that they don't want to see the luxury halls. When you say that you've lost yourself and you come on camera crying about how far you've strayed away from your true self. "I feel that I have gone down a path that I never wanted to go down and I'm disappointed in myself." Ann asked for feedback on what people actually want to see. "What do you like to see? What do you not like to see? I want to create what people want to watch and things that people actually appreciate." People say no more luxury and then 3 weeks later you turn around and do this and say oh well if you don't like it then don't watch. How does she even have fans? Like how? It really blows my mind. And her fans love to say that anyone criticizing this is just jealous. But jealous of what? Jealous of dealing with an obvious shopping addiction, the overconsumption, the hoarding. There's truly nothing to be jealous of. If anything, it's sad and it makes me think deep down Michaela is a very sad person trying to cover something else up with her shopping.

Anyway, like I was saying earlier, Michaela's had her comments off on all of her videos except for a few select people since announcing her divorce. It's been a few weeks now, and they're back on, but only to announce yet another product. She just revealed that she's doing a perfume collab with a brand called Sniff and she's been going hard on promoting this perfume all week.

"I created a perfume and it is literally going to be the fragrance of the summer. Introducing my fine fragrance with sniff only sunshine. Are you kidding me with this packaging? This is the box it comes in. Look at the bottle. I wanted this to literally transport you into the summer."

And I've been seeing a lot of mixed reviews and a lot of mixed opinions so far. It seems like a lot of people aren't a fan of the packaging. They think it looks cheap, kind of like something that you would find in a bargain bin discount store. One person said, "Packaging looks so cheap." I was expecting a pretty bottle. Perfume bottles are what sell a perfume. There's even an influencer who got the perfume sent to them early who said, "It smells like straight up Glade." Lovely. I guess at least if you like it, you know where to find a dupe for $4.99.

Now, what have we learned from Michaela over the years? Whenever she's about to launch something new, she pulls some kind of stunt that gets everyone talking about her. The divorce was old news at this point, so Michaela needed some new material. And what better way to get people talking than to talk about dating mere weeks after your divorce.

"Get ready with me to go on a date. Yes, you heard that right. So, the vibe is like classy but hot." Notice how she says date and not first date, which to me sounds like she's been seeing this person for quite some time. Especially because this date seems more fancy than a normal first date.

"Honestly, I'm not going to lie. I wish I could share the tea on the craziness that has been my life like the last six. That's about to be me tonight. trying to be a little more private with my life, but if you knew the whole story, oh my god, your jaw, you wouldn't be able to pick it up."

Okay, this right here in her divorce announcement, she asked for privacy for her and Cody and no one to speculate and try and tear them apart. But then she comes on here and she goes, "Oh my god, guys, if you knew the tea, if you knew the lore, you you wouldn't believe it. Your jaw would be on the floor." So obviously that's going to get people talking. So, she's asking you not to dig, but then she gives you a little hint, a little crumb of information to make you want to dig.

"Debated if I even wanted to share that I'm going on a date, but I'm in my era, so I don't give a just been such an open book that it's hard for me to keep my mouth shut. Also, contrary to popular belief, I don't have a PA team that like tells me what to say. In fact, my manager is probably going to hate that I'm posting this video thing about me. I'm going to do what I want. Light, I feel free. I just feel like boulder was lifted off of me. Like you can tell I'm happier. Be so for real. Like the energy shift. Are we seeing this? It was really hard for a while. Like I didn't want to get out of bed. But getting out of bed has gotten a little easier as the weeks go on. You know, something I learned recently is you really do have the power in your palm, the palm of your hands to choose what you accept in your life. Period. Something's not serving you. Goodbye. Goodbye. Moral of the story, life is just too short to not live it."

I mean, they say a broken clock is right twice a day, and I think Michaela is right there. I mean, who's to say if she was heartbroken or wasn't? I'm sure she was, but it does come to a point where you have to go, okay, there's no changing the situation. Me staying in bed being sad isn't going to change anything. It's not going to make anything better. If anything, it's just going to make me feel worse. So, it's time to get up and get on with it. So, I do agree with her there.

"Get dressed with me to go on a date. Trying to go too crazy. I want to look classy, put together. I have a black dress and I'm pulling out the Louis Vuitton tonight, Obviously, I have to wear my fragrance only sunshine early access on Monday, official drop on Tuesday. Link in bio. But this is like the perfect date night fragrance. Oh my god, it is so sexy, romantic, playful. That's what you want on a date. Period."

Okay, so obviously people were freaking out at this video. It got millions of views in I want to say the first hour of it being posted and there were a lot of mixed reactions with some people saying it was way too soon. Writing, "girl, it's been like 3 weeks." And Michaela said, "For you, wow, that was fast, especially for someone grieving." "Diva, I haven't even stood up yet. Wait, didn't you only just break up? I'm so confused." And Michaela wrote, "Lol, nope. I say this with nothing but respect and love. Be by yourself. Enjoy your own company. It's so healing." And Michaela said, "I've been alone for months. I'm good." "Wow, that was fast. No respect."

A few months really is nothing. Especially when it comes to a whole marriage ending. There's some people where as soon as a relationship ends, they want to try and go out and meet someone new before they've even had a chance to heal or process anything. And I'm not saying Michaela hasn't. We don't know what happened between her and Cody. We don't know the exact timeline. Maybe he did something that's made it easier for her to pick herself back up and be ready to date again. Some people grieve the relationship first and then 6 months later they're all good. Some people are all good right away and then it hits them like a year later. Personally, I would say if he was the one that ended things with her, more power to you. Go out and find someone who will love you and appreciate what they have while they have it. But if she ended things with him, posting about going on a date so soon does feel a little bit icky to me. I'm not saying that she shouldn't be dating, but what happened to keeping parts of your private life private? Not every single little detail needs to be shared. Not everything needs to be content, which I know is probably shocking to an influencer like Michaela.

I can definitely see where these comments are coming from, especially because the timeline is so confusing. One person wrote, "Clearly, we all didn't watch the entire announcement where she said they separated last year." But did they? Because at Christmas, Michaela was posting videos of Cody with his hands on her doesn't look like being split up to me. Also, didn't he buy her like a $30,000 watch? Strange gift to buy your ex-wife.

"I definitely saved the most insane thing for last. This is from my husband. I love Van Clee. I have a Van Clee necklace on, Van Clee earrings. I love Van Clee. And he got me a Van Clee watch for Christmas. And when I tell you this might be one of the or it is probably the prettiest watch I've ever seen in my life."

They seem to be fine at Christmas. So maybe by broke up last year, Michaela means December 31st at 11:59 p.m. because that timeline isn't checking out. And as if these get ready with me videos weren't enough, Michaela posted another video showing a man pulling her into him. A lot of people are saying that this is Cody. They think that they're probably dating each other again and trying to get back to how they were and maybe this is their way of fixing their marriage. But there were also some people saying that it was Manny MUA because Manny also posted a get ready with me going on a date.

"I haven't been on a date in so long. And yet, here we are. I'm about to go on a date. So, uh, let's put myself together. I haven't gone on a date since I was seeing the last person I was seeing. So, it's been like a minute. We ended things in December, so I'm still out of practice, dude. Is anyone else like this where like you'll be seeing someone dating someone, but then things like if they don't work out, then you're like, "Okay, I can't talk or see anyone for months." Like I like you almost feel like overwhelmed by the idea of dating someone again that you're like, "Okay, cool. Well, I'll start trying to date in uh 6 months from now. See you in a year. I don't know why I'm like that. It's almost like I need like a break from the idea of dating."

And Manny was definitely playing into it in the comments, even posting a video the next day which said, "Me convincing Michaela to go on a date with me now that she's single." And look guys, I'm not even going to feed into the whole trying to find out who this man is gig that she wants everyone to feed into because I think it's pretty clear what's going on here. Actual date or rage bait. This is all marketing. And Michaela herself has admitted to it.

Someone commented and wrote, "The marketing strategy is insanely good. Like, bravo, girl." And Michaela commented, "Thank you." I really do think that's what this is because while everyone was refreshing her page trying to look for date updates, she posted a sponsorship. A sponsorship that she actually posted, I'm guessing by accident last weekend. Quickly deleted and then reposted after her date night videos.

"I have been gatekeeping this for years and I debated sharing this for a long time, but I'm going to tell you my biggest skincare secret. Step one, you need to throw these away." What a stupid thing to say. Yeah, washcloths that people have been using forever are suddenly horrible for you. Something you can put in your washing machine in hot boiling water and clean and reuse. Even if you wash these, do you know how much bacteria these hold? And they are terrible for your skin barrier. That's your first problem. >> But these disposable wipes that sit in landfills aren't. >> Reason I am even sharing this is because they are more accessible than ever now that they are at Ulta. You need the clean towels by Clean Skin Club."

This alone should be enough to tell you Michaela does not have your best interest in mind. She just wants you to buy this crap that she's pushing so the check keeps on coming her way regardless of what's best for you or the planet. But now that Michaela put this sponsorship after her date videos, it's going to have a ton of views. A lot of her sponsorships lately haven't been getting a lot of views because people are over them. Brands have quotas and expectations, especially when they're paying the type of money Michaela's charging them. And what better way to get engagement and your views up? Let's just compare this sponsorship Michaela did before she posted about going on a date got under a million views. The sponsorship she posted midday got 2.3 million views. That's why she plugged her perfume collab during the date night videos, calling it the perfect date night scent when it's literally a beachy summer perfume. It's also why she posted her perfume immediately the next day as well. It's all about views.

This is the same girl who only weeks ago was trying to make us feel bad for thinking that she lost her way and she's just a small town girl and how things were going to change. She also posted about the date the next morning and claims that she isn't rage baiting and it was in fact a real date.

"Last night was the best date I have ever been on in my entire life. I know that people think I'm rage baiting, but this was a real date. I can't make it up. It was magical, dude. you not, this is the type of man women pray about. I'm not you. This is the most emotionally intelligent man I've ever met. One is a personal preference. A lot of people think differently on this. That's fine. I want to be with someone who has the same morals, beliefs, and ideals as me. That is simply a preference of mine. And I've learned that from personal experience. Just saying. Sexual attraction huge, huge. If you are a man and you feel insecure about you, you resent my success. That ain't going to fly. When I tell you with this man, every box, checkmate. I want to tell you how I met this person and I will just not yet. Um, the waitress, the host knew us. So, she brought all these strawberry margarita shot. So, let's just say we were feeling good before we had food in us. It's like the connection, dude. It was like I really do think that this is all just a leadup to some kind of partnership or collab with someone in the beauty space, especially because of the comments that she's been liking. One comment she liked reads, "Not going to lie, your marketing is genius. This is for a merch or brand drop/c collab. I'm calling it girl. Remember, it's just one day. It changes after a while and everyone." And Michaela responded, "You don't know the full story with this little smirky emoji." Another person wrote, "I think I know what you're up to and I love you." And Michaela responded, "Of course I do."

I'm telling you, next week she's gonna have this video where she's going to be like, "I got you guys." And it'll be some collab for something new that she'll be selling. It's all promotion for her. And I hate to say it, but she's learned this from what happened during Lashgate. She saw how well controversy does for her, and what better way to get your name out there than with some harmless controversy. It's not enough to get her cancelled, but it's enough to get people talking and having strong opinions. Someone in her comments called this out, too, and said, "This is all marketing. The date, the family game night, all things you'll want to wear your new favorite perfume, too. Think about it. She hasn't posted any marketing or promotion about her new perfume that just launched. And she does that for all her new product. That's what this is."

I think it's safe to say Michaela hasn't changed and all the crying she did in the video from a few weeks ago was probably yet another marketing strategy. She took a break from posting a lot. She wasn't getting great views and now that's definitely not an issue. All her videos have been getting millions of views ever since she posted that video. So unfortunately it looks like her plan has worked for now. Anyways guys, let me know what you think about everything down below and I'll see you next time.
