Why Most Christians Pray From the Floor When God Already Seated Them on a Throne | E.W Kenyon Sermon

Discovering Kenyon46:54

Transcription

Ephesians 2:6 says, "You are already seated with Christ in heavenly places." Not will be seated. Not may be seated if you pray hard enough and cry long enough and fast consistently enough. Already, right now, in this present moment.

With everything you are facing, with every diagnosis still on the table, with every bill still unpaid, with every relationship still fractured, with every fear still whispering in the dark hours of the night, already that throne seat is a position of governmental authority over your circumstances, over your body, over your finances, over the weather patterns of your mind, over every demonic assignment that has been marshaled against your life and against the lives of the people you love.

But if you are still praying from the floor, if you are still crying out, still begging, still pleading, still negotiating with heaven as though God has not yet made up his mind about you. As though the cross was a suggestion rather than a finished work, then you have vacated a seat that God himself told you to occupy. You have walked away from a legal position that cost the Son of God his own blood to establish. And you have been living beneath it. Wondering why your prayers feel like they are hitting the ceiling and bouncing back. Wondering why you keep believing for a breakthrough that never fully materializes. Wondering whether God is angry with you or whether you simply do not have enough faith.

Here is how to take your seat and never leave it again. Here is what I want you to understand before we go any further in this teaching. This is not a message about positivity. This is not a motivational speech dressed up in religious language. What you are about to hear over the next 30 minutes is a legal unveiling of who you are in Christ. Rooted in the covenant that was cut in blood before the foundations of this world were ever laid. Confirmed in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and sealed by the Holy Spirit who lives inside your recreated spirit. Right now. This is the Kenyon revelation. This is the truth that the early church walked in with supernatural results. This is the truth the reformers glimpsed but could not fully articulate because they were still emerging from the fog of centuries of religious tradition. And this is the truth that the Holy Spirit is urgently restoring to the body of Christ in this generation.

In the next 30 minutes, you are going to understand with unmistakable clarity why you have been living beneath your inheritance. And more importantly, you are going to understand exactly how to take your seat and never vacate it again. Stay with me because every word of what follows has the potential to permanently change the way you pray, the way you speak, the way you fight, and the way you live for the rest of your days on this earth.

Now, let us be completely honest about what has been happening in the body of Christ for a very long time. Because until we name the problem with precision, we cannot fix it with precision.

>> [music] >>

The vast majority of believers across every denomination have been taught to pray in a way that fundamentally contradicts their covenant standing. They have been taught to approach God as a distant monarch who must be appeased by the right combination of sincerity and suffering. They have been taught to view prayer as a petition process where you bring your request to a God who may or may not be moved by the quality of your asking. They have been taught that suffering is a sign of deep spirituality, that weakness is the truest form of humility, and that keeping yourself small before God is the highest form of devotion. They have been taught, in short, to live like beggars in the house of the King. And the result of that teaching is visible everywhere you look. A church that is perpetually defeated by circumstances it was given authority to command. A church that is perpetually sick despite the clear declaration of 1 Peter 2:4 that by his stripes you were healed. A church that is perpetually struggling financially despite the promise of Philippians 4:19 that God supplies all need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. A church that is perpetually anxious and fearful despite the gift of a sound mind confirmed in 2 Timothy 1:7. Sincerely devoted people, genuinely born again, genuinely indwelt by the Holy Spirit, genuinely longing for God, but living so far beneath their covenant rights that they have come to accept the floor as the only available option.

You have prayed the same prayer for 40 days. You have fasted. You have wept before God until there were no more tears left. You have had deacons lay hands on you. You have had elders anoint you with oil. You have stood in every prayer line that came to your city, and still the situation has not moved. And slowly, so gradually that you almost did not notice it happening, a lie has taken root in the deep soil of your heart. The lie says that maybe God does not want to heal you. Maybe this is his will. Maybe God is refining you through this trial, teaching you something through this pain, using this defeat to build your character. Maybe you are simply not worthy enough, not faithful enough, not holy enough, not spiritually mature enough for God to act decisively on your behalf. That lie is not humility. That lie is not discernment. That lie is sense knowledge dressed up in the language of theology. That lie is the enemy's most sophisticated counterfeit for the genuine revelation of covenant truth. And it will keep you on the floor for the rest of your life if you do not replace it with what the word of God actually says.

You are not a beggar. You are a king, and kings do not beg. Kings enforce. Let that settle in your spirit for a moment before we move on. Kings do not beg. Kings enforce.

[music]

The problem you have been facing is not a problem of sincerity. Nobody in this room doubts your sincerity. Your passion for God is not in question. Your willingness to sacrifice is not in question. The problem is identity. You have been approaching the throne of heaven as though you do not belong there. As though your presence before God is an imposition he tolerates rather than a legal right he established. And when you approach from that posture, everything about your prayer is colored by it. Your words are colored by it. Your expectations are colored by it. Your ability to hold your ground after you have prayed is colored by it. And the entire atmosphere of your spiritual life is shaped by the foundational lie that you are a temporary visitor in the house of God rather than a permanent heir seated in a position of governmental authority in Christ.

Until that changes, until the revelation drops from your mental understanding into the bedrock of your spirit, you will continue to live in the gap between what the covenant promises and what you are actually experiencing. And that gap is not God's will. That gap is the territory of ignorance that the enemy exploits every single day. So let us lay the foundation of this revelation with precision, and let us never depart from it. Ephesians 2:6. Stay in this verse with me because the Greek is absolutely remarkable, and I do not want you to miss what Paul is actually saying. He writes that God has raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. The Greek word translated as "sit together" or "made to sit" is the compound word *synkathizo*. Break it down. The prefix *syn* means "together with," "in union with," "as one corporate entity," not as individuals operating independently, but as a unified body participating in the same reality. The root word *kathizo* means "to sit down," specifically "to be seated in a [music] place of judicial or governmental authority."

In the ancient world, a judge did not sit on the bench as a passive observer. The act of sitting on the bench was itself the act of governing. To be seated was to be exercising authority. To sit was to rule. To occupy the seat was to render verdicts, to issue commands, to dispatch enforcement, to determine outcomes. So when Paul uses the word *synkathizo* to describe what God has done for you through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, he is not painting a poetic picture of your spiritual comfort. He is making a precise legal declaration about your present governmental position in the kingdom of God. You have been made to sit together with Christ in a place of judicial authority over all created reality beneath that seat. Every prayer you pray, every declaration you make, every time you open your mouth in the authority of the name of Jesus, you are not a servant filing a petition with a distant master. You are a co-regent of the Most High God issuing enforceable verdicts under the supreme authority of the King of Kings. This is not arrogance. This is covenant. This is what was purchased for you at an infinite price on the cross of Calvary.

This is precisely what E.W. Kenyon spent his entire ministry attempting to unveil to the church. Kenyon understood with a depth of insight that few teachers in his generation possessed that the church had made a catastrophic substitution. It had replaced revelation knowledge with sense knowledge as the governing principle of the Christian life. Sense knowledge is the knowledge that comes through the physical senses. It tells you what you can see, what you can touch, what you can measure, what the doctor's report declares, what the bank statement confirms, what the symptoms announce, what the circumstances demonstrate. Sense knowledge is real. E.W. Kenyon never dismissed it as unreal. He understood that the natural world is a genuine world with genuine conditions that genuinely affect people's lives. But sense knowledge is not ultimate knowledge. Sense knowledge is knowledge of the subject, knowledge of the governed, knowledge of what is visible within the frame of temporal reality.

Revelation knowledge is the knowledge that comes from the recreated spirit, from the hidden man of the heart, the inward man who has been born from above and who carries within himself the life of God. The *zoe* life, the eternal, uncreated life that was in Christ and that now indwells the believer by the Holy Spirit. The recreated spirit knows what the covenant says, regardless of what the circumstances look like. It knows its legal standing, regardless of what the accuser whispers. It knows its throne seat authority, regardless of what the senses report. And the moment a believer begins making decisions, forming prayers, and shaping confessions based on what their senses report rather than what their recreated spirit knows through revelation, they have stepped off their seat. They have descended from the governmental position that was purchased for them at the cross and they have gone back to the floor. And from the floor, the prayer sounds like begging because from the floor, the only rational option is to ask and hope that maybe, possibly, if God is in a good mood and you are sincere enough and your track record is clean enough, he might act on your behalf.

But from the seat, from the throne position, from the place of *synkathizo* authority in Christ, you do not ask and hope. You declare and enforce because you are not petitioning for what might be given. You are claiming what has already been provided.

Let me give you an image that will anchor this revelation in your memory so permanently that you will never be able to think about prayer the same way again. During the reign of Queen Victoria, when the royal carriage moved through the streets of London, it was accompanied not merely by servants, but by officers of the court, men who had been formally invested with the authority of the crown. They carried the royal seal. They had been officially deputized to exercise delegated governmental authority in the name of the monarch. Now, understand what this meant practically. When the royal carriage needed to pass through a street and there was an obstacle in the road, those officers of the court did not approach the obstacle with hats in hand and say, "Excuse me, I am so terribly sorry to bother you. Her Majesty the Queen is trying to pass, and we were wondering whether you might perhaps consider possibly moving out of the way. If it is not too much trouble, and only if you feel comfortable doing so." They did not beg. They did not negotiate. They did not offer the obstacle something of value in exchange for its cooperation. They declared the authority of the throne. "Make way. The crown is passing." And the street cleared.

Now hear the critical detail in this picture because it changes everything. Those officers of the court had no personal power of their own. The obstacle was not afraid of them as individuals. Their physical strength was not the reason the road cleared. What the obstacle yielded to was not the man, but the seal. Not the individual, but the invested authority. Not the person, but the legal standing of the crown that had been officially delegated to that officer. The man himself could have been physically unremarkable, quiet, even timid by personality. But when he carried the royal seal and spoke in the name of the crown, his personal attributes were entirely irrelevant. The authority was not his. It was borrowed authority, delegated authority, legal authority, and it worked every time.

That is your situation in Christ. Every demonic entity that has set itself against your health, your peace, [music] your finances, your family, your mind is not afraid of you as a personality. It is not impressed by your prayer style or your prayer length or the volume of your petition. [music] It is not moved by how much you weep before God, but it is compelled legally, judicially, irrevocably compelled to yield to the name of Jesus. When that name is spoken from a throne seat position of covenant authority by a believer who knows their legal standing, the enemy is not fighting you because you are powerful. He is fighting you because he is trying to keep you off your seat. Because as long as you are approaching him from the floor, begging from beneath, he does not have to move. But the moment you take your seat and speak to him from that governmental position, the legal framework of the entire created order requires him to comply. Not may require, does require, every time.

Philippians 2:9-11 locks this into place. Paul writes that God has highly exalted Jesus and given him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow of things in heaven, of things on the earth, and of things under the earth, and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Every knee, not some, not the cooperative ones, not the ones that feel like bowing. Every knee that exists in the entire created order, visible and invisible, natural and supernatural, temporal and eternal, is required to bow at that name. That is a legal verdict issued from the Supreme Court of the universe. It cannot be appealed. It cannot be revised. It cannot be delayed indefinitely. And because you are seated together with Christ, because you are in him by the miracle of the new birth, because you have been made a joint heir with Jesus, as confirmed in Romans 8:17, you carry the authority of that name not as an external tool you reach for in emergencies, but as a resident authority, a constitutional standing, a legal identity that belongs to you because of your covenant position in the risen Christ.

Now let us press into the legal framework of this covenant more precisely because this is the precise territory where the enemy has robbed the church. Most believers understand grace as forgiveness of past sins. Most understand salvation as the promise of heaven after death. But the vast majority have never encountered the governmental dimension of the new covenant. They have never understood that what happened at Calvary was not merely a moral transaction between God and humanity. It was a legal seizure of authority. It was a governmental transfer of power at the highest level of the created order.

Colossians 2:15 declares that Jesus, having stripped principalities and powers, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross. The language Paul uses here is the precise language of a Roman military triumph. And you need to understand what that meant in first-century culture because the weight of it is extraordinary. When a Roman general defeated an enemy nation in battle, the victory was not complete with the defeat alone. The final act of conquest was the triumph. The triumphal procession through the streets of Rome. The defeated king and his commanders were brought through the city in chains. Their weapons were stripped from them and displayed as trophies. Their banners and emblems of authority were carried in the procession as proof of their total subjugation. The watching citizens of Rome understood what they were seeing. They were seeing the irreversible, public, humiliating demonstration of an enemy's complete disarmament. This enemy could never fight again. This enemy's authority was gone. Not weakened, gone. Legally, permanently, publicly removed.

That is precisely what the Holy Spirit, through Paul, declares that Jesus did to the principalities and powers of darkness at the cross. He did not merely defeat them in a private spiritual engagement. He made an open spectacle of them. He triumphed over them publicly, cosmically, in a way that the entire spiritual realm witnessed and that cannot be undone. Which means that every demon, every principality, every power of darkness that is currently asserting authority over your health or your mind or your family is operating outside the law. It is a trespasser. It is a criminal acting as though a verdict that was rendered 2,000 years ago has not yet been executed. And you have not merely the option, but the legal covenant right and the governmental authority to serve it notice and evict it from the territory of your life. This is not presumption. This is not spiritual arrogance. This is covenant enforcement. And it is as legal as any enforcement action that takes place in any court of law in any nation on the earth. The verdict has been rendered. It is established. It is settled. The only question is whether the person who holds the legal authority will exercise it.

Romans 5:17 adds a layer to this framework that you absolutely cannot miss. Paul writes that those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one Christ Jesus. The word translated "reign" is the Greek word *basileuo*. It means to rule with royal authority. To exercise the governmental prerogative of a king, to govern, not to survive, not to endure, to reign. And Paul attaches it specifically to those who receive the gift of righteousness. Not those who earn righteousness through performance, not those who accumulate righteousness through years of moral achievement. Those who receive it as a gift. Receiving the gift of righteousness is what releases the authority to reign because a righteousness consciousness, a deep, settled knowing that you stand before God without guilt and without condemnation, clean and qualified not by what you have done, but by what he has done, is what gives you the boldness and the confidence to occupy your seat and speak with authority rather than crawl toward heaven in perpetual apology.

And this is not a small distinction. The difference between a believer who reigns and a believer who merely survives is not talent. It is not spiritual giftedness. It is not length of time in the faith. It is whether or not they have received the revelation of their righteousness in Christ. A believer who carries a sin consciousness walks through life perpetually disqualified in their own estimation. They approach the throne tentatively. They approach their covenant rights apologetically. They begin declarations and then walk them back. They take their seat [music] and then immediately wonder whether they deserve to be there. And that wondering itself is the act of vacating it.

2 Corinthians 5:21 declares that God made Jesus, who knew no sin, to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in him. Not that we might work toward righteousness. Not that we might gradually earn a measure of it over a lifetime of faithful service. We became it. Present tense reality. The great exchange is complete. He became your sin. You became his righteousness. And until that exchange is more real to you than the accusation, until the revelation of your righteousness is settled more deeply than the consciousness of your failure, you will reign in theory but live in defeat.

This is precisely why E.W. Kenyon taught with such passionate urgency about the difference between righteousness consciousness and sin consciousness. He understood that a sin-conscious believer is a perpetually defeated believer. Not because God has abandoned them, not because the covenant is insufficient, but because sin consciousness is a self-imposed displacement from the throne. It keeps you feeling unworthy to stand in the authority that has been legally purchased and assigned to you. The enemy's most effective weapon against your governmental position in Christ is not external pressure or supernatural opposition. It is internal condemnation. It is the quiet, relentless whisper that says, "You are not qualified for this kind of authority. Who do you think you are? Speaking like a king. When your life looks like it does, go back to begging. At least begging feels appropriately humble." And if you accept that whisper, if you nurse it and validate it and let it govern your confession, you vacate your seat every single time, often before the battle even fully begins.

1 John 4:17 seals this truth with a declaration that should stop every believer in their tracks. The Apostle John writes, "As he is, so are we in this world." Read those words slowly. As he is, not as he was in his earthly humiliation. Not as he will be at the final judgment. As he is right now, in this present moment. Jesus Christ is right now seated at the right hand of the Father, far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but in the age to come. As Paul establishes in Ephesians 1:20-21, he is exalted. He is reigning. He is governing. He is enforcing. And John says, "As he is, so are we in this world." Not in heaven after we graduate from this life, in this world. In the middle of the diagnosis, in the middle of the financial collapse, in the middle of the spiritual warfare. In this world, right now, our standing is the same as his. That is not ego. That is not name-it-and-claim-it theology stripped of substance. That is the revelation of the new creation, the legal reality of the great exchange, the covenant truth that was purchased by the blood of the eternal Son of God and that belongs to every recreated spirit who has received the gift of righteousness by faith in Jesus Christ.

So what do you actually do with this? How does this truth migrate from a concept that lives in your head to a covenant reality that governs your daily life? Let me take you through the practical activation of throne seat authority in three distinct movements, and I want each one to become a permanent feature of your spiritual practice.

The first movement is the daily renewing of your identity, and this is not optional. This is the foundation on which everything else is built. Before you can enforce anything, you have to know with settled certainty who you are. Consider what happens when a law enforcement officer steps into a volatile situation. Before they exercise authority, they identify themselves: badge, name, jurisdiction. Those three things establish the legal frame for everything that follows. The authority does not come from the individual. It comes from the office. It comes from the seal. It comes from the legal standing conferred by the institution that deputized them. When that officer speaks in the name of the law, they are not speaking for themselves. They are speaking as a representative of the governing authority that stands behind them. And the law requires compliance.

Your covenant identity is your badge, your name, and your jurisdiction. And you must know it with the same clarity that officer knows theirs. Romans 8:31 declares, "If God is for us, who can be against us?" Not who might try to be against us? Not who occasionally succeeds in opposing us. Who can be against us? Who has the legal standing to successfully and permanently oppose someone who is in Christ, seated in heavenly places, carrying the authority of the name above every name, backed by the same power that raised Jesus from the dead? The answer is no one. Absolutely no one. But you have to know it. You have to meditate on it until your spirit is saturated with it. Not your mind, your spirit. Because mental knowledge of your authority will collapse under pressure. But revelation knowledge of your authority. Knowledge that is dropped from the mind into the hidden man of the heart will hold under any pressure the enemy can apply.

Begin every morning by declaring your identity. Before you declare anything else, before you review your circumstances, before you check your phone, before you rehearse your problems, stand up, because your posture matters to your spirit, and speak these words aloud: "I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. Old things have passed away, and all things have become new. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places. I have been given authority over all the power of the enemy. Greater is he who lives in me than he who is in the world. I am not a beggar. I am an heir. I am not asking for what may be given. I am enforcing what has already been provided." Speak it until your inner man wakes up and aligns with the reality of it.

The second movement is the deliberate refusal of sense knowledge dominance. This is the inner [music] war, and it is where most believers lose the battle before any external opposition ever arrives. The symptom will speak, the bank account will speak, the medical report will speak, fear will speak, doubt will speak, discouragement will speak. They will all speak with great volume and great persistence. And when they do, you have a fundamental choice. You can agree with what your senses report, or you can hold to what the covenant declares. I want to be precise here, because Kenyon was precise about this. Agreeing with the symptom does not mean you acknowledge its existence. Of course, the pain is real. Of course, the debt is real. Of course, the diagnosis is real. Sense knowledge is real. Kenyon said that the question is not whether the symptom exists. The question is which reality governs your confession. Your confession is not incidental to your faith. Your confession is the mechanism of your authority. Hebrews 3:1 tells you to consider, which means to fix your gaze on Jesus, the apostle and high priest of your confession. Jesus is the high priest of your confession. What you confess is what he is authorized to enforce on your behalf. When you confess the symptom, when you rehearse the diagnosis, when you retell the bad report, you are not being honest. You are handing the symptom governmental authority over your life through the mechanism of your spoken word. Instead, train your mouth to respond to the symptom with the verdict. When pain [music] speaks, speak louder: "By his stripes, I was healed. 1 Peter 2:24. That healing is a finished fact. It is a covenant right. And I enforce it now in the name of Jesus." Say it with the calm authority of a judge pronouncing a verdict that is already entered in the record. Not desperate, not loud for the sake of loudness. Legal. Settled. Final.

The third movement is the sustained daily occupation of your seat. This is the movement that determines everything because throne seat authority is not a crisis measure. It is a lifestyle. Colossians 3:1 issues a command in the present active imperative, meaning continuous, ongoing action: "If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God." Keep seeking continuously as the governing orientation of your entire existence. Daily meditation on your covenant position. Daily vocal confession of your identity in Christ. Daily declaration of the finished work over every area of your life: your body, your mind, your finances, your family, your home. This is not religious routine. This is not trying to manipulate God with the right formulas. God does not need to be [music] convinced. He established the covenant. He wrote the terms. He signed it in the blood of his own Son. You are not convincing God when you declare his word. You are renewing your own spirit. Saturating your own hidden man with the revelation. Training your own consciousness to live from the seat rather than from the floor.

Here is a covenant declaration you can speak every morning as an act of throne seat occupancy. Find a quiet place. Stand up and speak this aloud: "Father, I thank you that I am a new creation in Christ Jesus and that my old identity is gone. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places right now. In this moment, I take my seat of authority. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. And I stand before you today without condemnation, without guilt, without apology, on the basis of the blood of Jesus alone. I declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over my body, and by his stripes I am healed. I declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over my finances, and my God supplies all my need according to his riches in glory. I declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over my mind, and I have the peace that passes understanding and the mind of Christ. I enforce the finished work of Jesus over every demonic assignment against my life, my family, my household, and my future. Every assignment is broken. Every chain is severed. Every stronghold is demolished in the name of Jesus. It is done. It is settled. And I receive it fully. I am not asking. I am not begging. I am enforcing, and the covenant stands." Speak that every morning. Write it out. Adjust it to your specific situation. But speak it.

Now I need to address the resistance. And I want to be very clear about this because it is coming, and you need to know how to handle it without losing ground. The moment you begin walking in throne seat authority, the moment you shift from petition to declaration, the moment you begin speaking like a king rather than kneeling like a beggar, the enemy will launch a coordinated assault against your position. He has done [music] it to every believer who has ever discovered this revelation. He will do it to you. Know his tactics in advance.

The first tactic is condemnation. It will come immediately after your boldest declaration, whispering with perfect precision, [music] "You have no right to speak like that. Who do you think you are? Look at your life last week. Look at what you did last month. Look at the gap between how you spoke this morning and how you lived this afternoon. You are a fraud. You are presumptuous. Sit down and be quiet." Recognize that voice. Revelation 12:10 identifies the enemy explicitly as the accuser of the brethren, who accuses them before God day and night. And the same passage tells you exactly how he is overcome: by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony, not by extended self-examination, not by season after season of introspection, but by the blood and the declaration. When condemnation rises, you answer immediately, and you answer with the word: "The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses me from all sin. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1. My standing is not based on my performance. It is based on the finished work. I am not condemned. I am covered. And I return to my seat."

The second tactic is what Kenyon called sympathy with the symptom. This is the subtlest and most dangerous of all the enemy's strategies because it sounds humble. It sounds reasonable. It sounds like balanced Christianity. It says, "I know what the word declares, and I believe [music] it in principle. But I also have to be honest about what I am experiencing. I have to be realistic. I cannot just pretend the problem is not there." That sentence will be offered to you by your own mind, by well-meaning friends, by sincere counselors, by people who love you and want to comfort you, and every word of it is a trap. Because the moment you accept it, the moment you begin making your confession accommodate the symptom, you have elevated sense knowledge above covenant truth. Being realistic about your problem is the enemy's definition of wisdom. Being uncompromising about your covenant rights, regardless of what the natural world appears to confirm, is God's definition of faith. When the symptom persists, do not slide into sympathy with it. Do not lower your confession to match your circumstances. Hold the line. The integrity of God's word is not subject to a time limit. 1 Corinthians 15:57 declares that "thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus." Always. Not sometimes. Not when circumstances are favorable. Always. That is your timeline.

The third tactic is religious tradition deployed through sincere people. Believers who have never encountered this revelation will tell you that you are being proud. They will tell you that this is dangerous teaching. They will quote Paul's thorn in the flesh. They will quote Job's suffering. They will tell you that God's sovereignty means he reserves the right to say no to whatever he chooses, regardless of covenant provisions. They will be sincere. They will be serious. And they will be wrong about this. The thorn in the flesh that Paul references in 2 Corinthians 12 was a messenger of Satan, a demonic assignment sent to buffet him. And Paul says God told him that grace was sufficient for him to deal with it. That is not a picture of God sending sickness as a spiritual lesson. That is a picture of spiritual warfare and the sufficiency of the indwelling life. And Job's story does not end with Job embracing his suffering as God's sovereign will. It ends with God restoring everything and publicly rebuking the theology of Job's counselors who told him God was doing this to him. The word does not contradict the covenant. You simply have to know the word well enough to answer the misapplication of it. Do not argue with them at length. You will not win an argument with religious tradition because religious tradition does not yield to logic. It yields to demonstration. Walk in the light you have received. Let the fruit of your throne seat living be the testimony that speaks louder than any theological debate. And when your declarations begin to manifest, when the covenant rights you have enforced begin to materialize in the natural world, when the healing comes and the provision arrives and the peace settles over your home like a covering, the testimony itself becomes the argument. Let the fruit do the talking.

Now, let us bring this to its full conclusion because this is the moment I want you to decide something permanent. You were not born again to be a spectator in someone else's story. You were not redeemed by the blood of the eternal Son of God to live a life of spiritual poverty, physical defeat, and perpetual asking. The new birth was not designed to give you a slightly improved version of your old, hopeless life. It was designed to make you a new species of being, a new creation, a recreated spirit indwelt by the same Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead, seated in a position of governmental authority over all the works of the enemy and equipped with the full legal authority of the name that is above every name.

This is your identity. This is your standing. This is your inheritance. And it does not become yours by your achievement. It became yours the moment the life of God entered your spirit at the new birth. The only thing standing between you and the full expression of this covenant reality is the revelation of it. Once you see it, you cannot unsee it. Once your spirit receives it, not just your mind, but your spirit, everything changes. The blood of Jesus did not purchase a possibility. It purchased a finished reality. He took your sin and gave you his righteousness. He took your sickness and gave you his healing. He took your poverty and gave you his supply. He took your fear and gave you his perfect peace. He took your shame and gave you his honor. He took your defeat and gave you his victory. He took your floor and gave you his throne. He did not do part of it. He did not do most of it. He completed it. He declared it finished from the cross, and the resurrection confirmed the verdict. And the question is not whether these things belong to you. Every covenant right, every legal provision, every governmental authority that is available in the kingdom of God already belongs to you. The title is already in your name. The deed is already signed in blood. The inheritance is already yours. The question is whether you will take possession of it. Will you occupy the territory that has been legally deeded to you? [music] Will you sit down in the seat that was purchased for you at infinite cost? Will you stop vacating the position and start enforcing the verdict? The answer has to come from you. But everything heaven has established says the answer can be yes.

Right now, wherever you are watching this, I want you [music] to make a declaration that marks this moment as a turning point in your life and in your spiritual history. Speak these words aloud: "I take my seat. I am a covenant heir. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places. I enforce the finished work of Jesus over every assignment against my life, my health, my family, and my future. I will not beg for what has already been given. I receive it. I declare it. I enforce it. From this day forward, I live from the throne, not from the floor."

If something stirred in your spirit when you spoke those words, if the Holy Spirit confirmed that truth in the hidden man of your heart, if something inside you recognized this as the revelation you have been searching for without knowing how to name it, type in the comments right now: "I take my seat." Those three words. Do it as a public declaration. Do it as an act of covenant confession. The spoken and written word is the weapon of your warfare. And using it in declaration, even in a comment section, is an act of governmental authority. Type it: "I take my seat."

If this teaching has carried something you have been hungry for, something the Holy Spirit has been trying to get to you for a long time, share this video right now with one person who needs it. One person who has been begging from the floor, one person who is exhausted and discouraged and has almost given up. Your sharing of this revelation could be the moment that permanently changes their life. Subscribe to this channel if you have not yet because we go deeper into covenant truth and the revelation knowledge of the new creation every single week.

Now, before you go, if I may share something personal with you for just a moment. I have been walking in this revelation for years now, and I want to be honest with you about something that I think will serve you better than anything polished or impressive. This revelation does not come fully formed and stay permanently bright without maintenance. There are mornings when I wake up and the circumstances in my life are louder than the covenant in my spirit. When the problem seems more tangible than the promise. When the old gravitational pull toward begging and negotiating with heaven feels entirely natural and even appropriate. What I have learned through all of it is that throne seat living is not a one-time awakening. It is a daily renewing of the mind, a daily return to the word, a daily choice to pick up the revelation again. The lesson I carry with me everywhere is this: the moment I begin describing the problem more than I declare the promise, I lose ground. Not because God withdraws from me, but because I have stepped off my seat. The covenant holds whether you feel strong today or not. Your weakness does not dissolve your legal standing. His faithfulness is not contingent on your performance. Even on the mornings when the confession slips, even when you find yourself back on the floor before you realized you left the seat, you simply get up, take the seat again. The seat has not moved. The covenant has not changed, and the door back to it is always open. Rest in the indwelling One today, not in this teaching or in this voice, but in the greater One who lives inside you, who has never left you, and who is even now bearing witness with your spirit that you are a child of God and a joint heir with Jesus Christ.
