Hey YouTube family, my name is Kaylee and thank you for joining us today. If you haven't already, please subscribe to our YouTube channel so that you can stay up to date each week. And we believe that God has a powerful word for you. So let's dive right in.

If you're taking notes, the title of my message is four ways to get in order. Four ways to get in order. Last week we talked about getting in order. And I love preaching these kind of sermons, right? Because obviously like the the bedrock of preaching is preaching the gospel and Christ crucified and what he's done for us on the cross. That's that's phenomenal. It's foundational. It's important. Um, but the Bible speaks to all areas of life. And what happens is in my life, I've seen a lot of people where it's like, okay, we understand the gospel, but how does the gospel change us? How does it impact us? And one of the things that we're to be believers is saved and and sanctified and transformed and on our way to heaven, but we're supposed to live holy, godly, god-honoring lifestyles on earth. And what turns the world off from the church is the church saying they love Jesus but operate nothing like him. Saying they love Jesus but look nothing like him. Saying they love Jesus but don't handle business, how Jesus handles business. Saying they love Jesus. It's like if you say you love Jesus at your job and you're late every day, you do bad work, you get on people's nerves and you come in with an attitude, like how is that honoring Jesus?

It's going to weaken your witness towards Jesus. So what Jesus does is he transforms our life, but then he gets in all areas of our life. And the Bible showed us Jesus' lifestyle to show us how Jesus treated people, how Jesus was a servant leader, how Jesus washed feet, how Jesus helped those in need, how he gave back. So, it's showing us who Jesus is holistically so we can reflect his image holistically. And one of the ways we do that is by getting in order. And last week, we just went through Genesis and we looked at how God set up order and how we can get in order. And these are just kind of four ways to just kind of tag on to last week's message on how we can get in order. So if you guys are ready, come on, say ready. We'll jump into the word.

All right, let's get it. If you got your Bibles, go to Genesis chapter 1, verse 26 through 28. And it reads, "Then God said, let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. So God created man in his own image. In the image of God he created him, male and female he created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth." So God came and he established mankind. He created us. And when he created us, he created us inside of order. First, he created the world. He put everything in place. Um, every day of creation that he had a certain thing that he did. He laid everything in place. And on the sixth day, he created man last. He created us inside of order. But when God created us, he gave us something so special. The first thing he gave us was a blessing. And what was God's blessing? It was his, it was his approval that he endorsed us. God's blessing is God's endorsement. It's when God touches you and he says you are endorsed. It means you're endowed to be fruitful. You're endowed to prosper. You're endowed to go forth. We were blessed by God. So the first thing God did, he came and he blessed mankind. It was the blessing of God. It was God saying, "Hey, I sign off on you. Hey, I endorse you. I I approve of you." But then the second thing God did was he said, "Be fruitful." Be fruitful. And being fruitful didn't just mean go have a bunch of babies. Even though that's perfectly fine. That's a part of it. But being fruitful wasn't just limited to having kids. Because if it was limited to just having kids, he would have said, "Go have more babies." He said, "Be fruitful." He was talking about in all areas of life. Be fruitful. What does it mean to be fruitful? To be fruitful means to produce. God said, "Go and produce. I'm I'm empowering you. I'm blessing you and I'm sending you out to go produce." My question for you is, have you produced? What have you produced? In other words, God is saying, producing your work, producing our world, producing our government, producing our economy, producing our economics. God is saying, "Go out and produce." My question for you is, WHAT ARE YOU PRODUCING? WHAT MAKES YOU FRUITFUL? And God has anointed you. He's giving you a gift. He's giving you a purpose. And your gift and purpose is what you're to be fruitful in. Which means that if you're called, um, like we saw in the video, to serve young boys, you go serve them and that's how you're being fruitful. If you're called to lead worship, you lead worship. That's how you be fruitful. If you're called to do outreach, that's how you be fruitful. What is God giving you? What is your passion? What is your purpose? What does God put on the inside of you? That's how you be fruitful. It's when you go out and produce. It's when you make something happen with what God has given you.

God's purpose for your life is his gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God. What are you doing with what God has given you?

This is how you be fruitful. So to be fruitful is to make something work. What are you making work? What are you making work? So you have to figure out what has God called you to do and you be fruitful. You make the thing work that God has given you. I don't know what he's given you, but whatever he's given you, it's your tool to be fruitful. If God's given you a passion for young kids, guess what? That's your tool to be fruitful. If God is making you handy and you can fix things and put things back together, that's your tool to be fruitful. You make it work. And the way God works is this. We've been sold a lie. There's this prosperity gospel that says you just can pray and name and claim things and God's going to give you things. No, no, no. God blesses you inside of fruit.

Which means that in order for God to prosper anybody, he's not going to give you a handout or drop something from heaven. He's going to bless the work of your hands. And when you go work and make something happen, then God will provide for you and take care of you. Because the Bible says a man that doesn't work should eat.

He shouldn't eat. But when you work, when you work what God has given you, when you're fruitful, you're working what God has given you. In order to have fruit, you got to have work because the ground has to be cultivated. Seed has to be sown. The garden has to be harvested to get fruit. Fruit requires work. Which means that if YOU DON'T WORK, GOD CAN'T.

Faith don't work if you don't. But if you would work, then God would come and partner with you. And when you do what you can do, God would do what you can't do. When you put in work where you can put the work in, then God will put in work in areas you can't put work in.

But faith without works is dead.

Faith without works is dead. YOU CAN HAVE ALL THE FAITH IN THE WORLD, but with no work, your faith is dead. But when you put the work together, now you're making something happen. And God comes, he partners with that work and it becomes fruit.

Yeah. Come on.

And then God says, "Be fruitful." But then he also said, "Multiply." Everyone say, "Multiply."

Multiply.

Multiply. Which means I'm going to give you God's secret to being effective on earth. He says, "Be fruitful." But then he says, "Multiply." What does multiply mean? To multiply means to scale. We see when Jesus fed the crowd, the first thing they had to be was fruitful. What was that? They brought a little boy's lunch and then Jesus blessed it. He broke it and what did he do? He multiplied it. Why did he bring multiply? Because multiplication is how you scale something fruitful. So your job is to make something work. What did God give you to make work? And when you make that thing work, you have to multiply it. In other words, you have to make it to where it can touch and reach more people. I give you an example. One of the ways we multiply the work that we're doing here at the church is by having a live stream. Because what we're able to do now, there is hundreds if not thousands of people that's watching this service right now and we multiply what happened in this building and we sent it across the world through a camcorder. You have to take and multiply. Jesus blessed the fish and the bread. He multiplied it. So what was able to feed maybe one or two people can now feed 20,000 people because he multiplied it. He brought scale to it. How are you scaling what God has given you? And then the next thing he says, "Replenish." Replenish. And when you're replenishing, that means that you're coming and you're replenishing. You're putting back what was taken. You're replenishing, which means which means you're regenerating. You're putting it back. When something's gone, you're putting it back. You're replenishing. You have to replenish the earth. How are you replenishing people? People are are are in desolation. They're tired. They're broken. Uh, they're disconnected and discombobulated. What are you bringing replenishment to?

What are you serving? What are you watering? When you do that, you're doing the will of God. The next one is subdue. Which means God says, "Take the space." He said, "I gave you this earth. I need you to subdue it. Take the space. Fill the earth. Subdue this earth." My question is, what are you subduing?

What, what area are you dominating? What area are you doing what God has called you to do? And then lastly, God said, "I want you to have dominion over the earth." What does that mean? He means government. I want you to govern. I want you to govern what I've given you. Maybe it's a company, and you govern that. Maybe it's the outreach. You govern that. Maybe it's just serving your family. You leading them well and you're governing your family. Come on. Can we give God a shout of praise for that? So, four ways to get in order. The first one is find your rhythm. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, "To everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to break down and a time to build up." So God is saying there's a time for everything. Translation, God is saying there's a rhythm for everything. There's a rhythm for everything. Most people live out of order because they live out of rhythm. Uh, let me talk to you. Maybe you say, "I feel like I don't have enough time to do everything that God has given me to do. I'm busy with the kids. I'm busy with work. I'm busy with this. I'm busy with that. I don't have time." It's probably not time that you're lacking. It's probably rhythm.

For, for an example, most people, they don't calculate all the different things they do. So if you run out of time, and why am I talking about time in church? It's because time is what God gave you to do the will of the Lord. If the devil steals your time, he steals your life.

And what happens is we can be so spiritually minded that we're no earthly good because what's the point of you getting all of this stuff if all your time is wasted on TV, all your time is is is wasted on the phone and you have no concentration, no prayer time, no time with God, what's the point? So sometimes we got to get practical before we can even get spiritual. The devil says you can speak and run around speaking in tongues and roll on the floor, but if I stole your clock, I stole your life.

So we got to get our time back so we can now invest our time into the will of the Lord because God gave you time as a gift to do his purpose, his will, and his plan.

So what you have to do is understand what's your rhythm, what's killing your time. And for a lot of people, you'll start going through stuff. I got to wash and I got to cook and I got to do this and I got to do laundry and I got all these different things. You need to sit down, get a pen, get a paper out and look at all the different things that you do. And then you got to start creating organization. You look at how God created the world and he put certain things on certain days. So if you really want to get order in your life, instead of you washing any day random whenever the clothes are filled up, what if you had a day and a time that you wash? Hey, on Mondays at 4 to 7, that is when I wash and and I'm going to wash enough clothes to last me from Monday to Monday. And then what you would do is you would cut washing out of all the other days. And now you're creating margin to have more time to spend with God, spend with your spouse, spend with your family, and do the will of the Lord. Because what the devil does is the devil just, if he can't stop you, he just makes you too busy. And the the thing that's happening in America is the devil isn't even trying to stop us. He's just putting us on a faster treadmill,

making us burn all our energy out. And now when it comes time for God and church and prayer and family, we have no time. And now people are ending in divorce. Marriages are ending. Kids are in disarray because we didn't properly invest time because we let Satan steal it.

So rhythm. Rhythm. Rhythm is you find rhythm. So, for an example, I have a certain day of the month where I wash my vehicle. I have a certain day of the week where we wash clothes. We have a certain day where we plan where we're going to eat. We have a certain day where where we go and we have time together and we spend time together. Like, everything has a rhythm. Because guess what? If you don't put date night on a rhythm, you won't go.

Oh, yeah.

You won't never go. And then she'd be like, "You don't never take me on a date." You'd be like, "Well, baby, I'm trying to get to it. I'm just busy." And she's looking at you sideways because you didn't prioritize. And the reason you didn't prioritize is because you're out of rhythm. You're out of order. You have to get rhythm. God created the whole earth to operate off of rhythm. We have seasons. Seasons. You have seasons where it's cold. It was real cold this morning. And in a couple of weeks, it's going to be hot again because Texas is out of rhythm. It has no idea what God's trying to do. So, Texas needs to be listening to this sermon because it'll be hot tomorrow and cold today. But there's supposed to be seasons. So when it's cold, so now I know it's a cold season. Okay, I can dress accordingly. I can still keep the AC on because we ain't going to bed hot. All the cold sleepers said, "Come on." Amen, man. There's some people that just like the thermostat on 75. I'm like, how do you sleep? Like, turn that thing down to 62. Let's go. Turn it down to 62. Everybody in my house hot. We just We got the AC on, the fan, the little water gun shooting in the air like we hot.

We hot. We sleep through the night, too.

You're like, "I just keep waking up. It's too hot." That's the problem. You keep waking up because it's too hot.

But finding a rhythm. So, what you want to start doing is you want to start batching things, putting things together. What is the rhythm of your body?

Some of you guys can't do the will of God because you're tired.

Why are you tired? The reason why you're tired is because your sleep has no synergism. Well, how much sleep do you need a night? You should be able to answer that. What time do you go to sleep? And what time do you wake up? You should have a hard alarm clock that wakes you up every day. And if you went to sleep at the same time and woke at the same time, you would need you would need your alarm clock. I wake up every day about 10 minutes before my alarm goes off. I don't get woke up by my alarm. My body wakes me up because it has a clock on the inside of it. But many of the clocks you guys have on the inside of you is broken because you're out of rhythm. You let how good the Netflix series is determine when you go to bed.

You let how busy the day is determine when you go to bed. I want to teach you something. Everybody has a to-do list. You need a to-you need a a not-to-do list. You need to write down what you don't need to do. Everybody has a start time, but you have a hard stop time.

I have an alarm clock. It's at 8:30. It goes off on my phone. And what it tells me is start winding down,

which means turn off the lights. And I'll do that. My wife turned him back up, but it's cool. We're working on her. Um, but I have a stop time. You need a stop time. And here's the reason why we don't stop. We don't stop because we feel like if we worked harder and if we done more, we can accomplish more.

That's a lie.

It's a lie. Because the way God designed us, God designed us this way. He designed us that stress plus rest equals growth.

Come on.

Stress plus rest equals growth. I'm going to tell you how God designed you just so you can have an insight of how you are mechanically, mentally, and physically wired through God. Do you know that you don't grow while you're stressing? You only grow while you rest. This is why God commanded a Sabbath because he knew something you didn't know. The only time a human grows is when they rest. Which means that I remember when I used to lift weights and I had a secret to getting stronger than all my friends really fast and they always wanted to know my secret. Eventually I caved and told him. But I remember talking to this guy and he was a bodybuilder. He was so strong. And I was like, "Tell me everything about working out. Give me the hacks. I want to be stronger than everyone." I was small back then. I ain't small no more. Amen. I'mma get back. I said, "Give me the secret." He said, "I'm going to give you the secret to be stronger than everybody in six months." And he was right. I got stronger than all my friends in six months. He said, "The secret to strength is rest."

He said, "It's the secret." He said, "All your friends, they're going to try to beat you. They're going to work out twice a day, three times a day, six times a week, and they're going to hustle harder." He said, "I want you to work out three times a week. When you go in there, I want you to go in for an hour. Work out as hard as you can, and I want you to sleep 10 hours in between those hard workout days." He said, "And then when your muscles are sore, I want you to stay out of the gym until you feel 100%." He said, "If you do this, you would get way stronger than your friends." I was getting 30, 40 lbs stronger a week. Because the secret to strength isn't stress, it's actually rest.

You grow WHILE YOU'RE RESTING. EVERYBODY OUT HERE THAT WANT TO BE ENTREPRENEURS, I'M WORKING HARD. I'M working seven DAYS A WEEK. GOD DIDN'T WORK seven days a week. It's when you're actually not working, sabbing, that the supernatural idea comes, that the strategy comes, that the breakthrough comes, that that the thing that can be taught in schools comes that God's going to give you that revelation while you're resting.

AND WHY WOULD GOD GIVE IT TO YOU WHILE you resting? It's because God, because God will use something to shame the way of the world. The way of the world says go, go, go harder, harder, harder. Press, press, press, and you will get there. God says, "I'm so good and I'm so God. I will bless you while you're sleeping. I will make you fruitful while you're resting. I will multiply you while your hands are still."

This is THE GOD WE SERVE. WHY WOULD GOD GROW US when we're resting? To shame us. To let us know that I do the work even when you think you do.

This is why rest is so powerful.

It's so powerful because it's God giving you revelation that it was me all along, that I gave you the power. I gave you the strength. I gave you the wisdom. So God says rest. Now, some of you guys rest too much and we ain't talking to you because you need to work. You need some stress, pastor. I receive your rest. No, no, no, no, no. You need to rebuke some rest and receive some stress.

Okay. But stress. So what I mean by stress? What I mean by stress is when you work, when you serve, when you provide, when when when you're building something, there's a level of stress that comes upon you. And then you have pressure because you feel like, I can't get it all done. So on that off day, I'm going to have to work to make up some time. And God's like, no, no, no, no, no. If you would have that off day, I'll bring you more time.

I'll bring the time.

I'll bring the time. But the issue is this. Rest brings growth after stress. So here's how most people live. They don't rest or stress. They just do both at the same time. So they're resting while they're supposed to be stressing and then they're stressing while they're supposed to be resting. And they're never completely doing either one. And this is why they're unfruitful is because you have to stress. WHEN IT'S TIME, LOOK AT GOD. WHEN IT WAS TIME TO WORK, GOD created our whole world in six days. Think of the hustle and the grit and the work ethic of God. HE CREATED THE WHOLE WORLD IN SIX DAYS. SO ON THE SEVENTH, HE BETTER REST. Some of you guys ain't did nothing in six days. So when you try to rest on the seventh, your body's like, "Nah, bro. You ain't did nothing." Uh-uh. When you hit the bed, you're like, "I just can't rest." It's because your body's like, "Yeah, you ain't did nothing. That's why." But when you work and you actually focus and you actually do everything you need and then you rest, you wake up rejuvenated, refreshed, reset. You ready to go?

There's a book about this I could tell you about. You need to get it to your boss. Be like, "Boss, I tell you what, you give us an extra day of rest and watch what we can produce." Any boss would, any boss, if they saw the highest performing organizations on the planet are organizations that actually give their team more rest. There's an organization and they work 30 hours a week instead of 40. They outproduce every other company because of the rest of their people. Their people come in on fire because they're stressing when it's time to stress and they're resting when it's time to rest. Can we give God a shout of praise for that? The Sabbath is powerful. And God is giving you the Sabbath because he knows that as you're sabbing, he's restoring. He's healing. He's resting. If you feel burnt out, you need rest. If you feel tired, you need rest. Your marriage is on rocks. Y'all need to get away together, lead the kids back, and y'all need to rest together and breathe. And all of a sudden, God will start restoring what was broken. Can we give him a shout of praise? Ephesians chapter 5. My next point is manage your time. Manage your time. If you're going to get in order, you got to manage your time. Ephesians chapter 5 verse 16. It reads, "Redeeming the time because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is." Redeeming the time because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be unwise, understanding what the will of the Lord is. God says redeeming the time because the days are evil. What does it mean? It means that the day is after wasting your time. Anybody that ever wrote down, "Here's the things I'm going to get done today." You get everything done, but what you said you was going to get done.

Mean, you know what? Today, I am going to clean out the closet. You cleaned the car. You cooked. You baked. You did laundry. You went to seven stores and you was busy, but you wasn't productive because you didn't do what you said you was going to do. And the Bible says the day is evil.

It says you have to redeem your time because the day is evil. And here's why the day is evil is because the devil steals the day. The devil steals the day. Why does the devil steal the day? He steals the day because he understands something that the church doesn't. What the devil understands is this. He understands that in life, a person is the accumulation of their days.

That's all you are. When you look at someone that's fit, which ain't me right now, but we coming. We coming this year. We coming. We coming.

You're looking at somebody that in a healthy fitness way won the day.

And once they won the day, that's not enough. But then when you keep winning the day, the day compounds and it changes your life.

So in order to change your life in any area, you have to change the day.

You win today, you win your life. You win today, you win your life. Which means that the future of your life is trapped in your daily routine.

And what the devil does is he distracts today. Because if you want to be a strong woman or a strong man of God is spending time with God every day, spending time in prayer every day, spending time in the Bible every day. And as the days accumulate, the wisdom grows, the strength in God grows, the holiness grows, the purity grows. But what happens is the devil made you too busy for God every day. And over the accumulative period, you had no time with God, no time in the presence, no time in prayer. And then when it was time for you to call down power, you can't call down power because you skipped every day of prayer.

So it's the day you have to guard your day. And this is why God says you have to redeem the day. You have to redeem it. You have to, you, you, you have to rescue the day. You have to save the day. YOU HAVE TO GET YOUR DAY BACK. And then you have to define your day. You can't wake up and find out what you're doing today. What is your day for? Your day is for destiny. Your day is for destiny. God, what is my destiny? What is my purpose? And how can I use my day to get me closer to my destiny?

So, you got to ask yourself, you're going into 2027 at the end of this year.

And before you walk through this year, you need to ask yourself a couple questions. When I get to the end of the year, what was a successful year? You got to define that, right? You want to save money. That's abstract. How much money do you want to have saved by the next year? How much weight do you want to lose by the next year? What do you want your business to be? Where do you want to be at your job? You have to define all this.

And now you have to work backwards. Okay, if this is what I want the end of the year to look like going into the next year, what do I need to do this year?

So, you can break it down. You can do the math. If you want to be in shape next year, then you got to break it down. What do you have to do this year? First thing is you got to throw Lil Debbie out the cabinet. Lil Debbie can't go with you in 2026,

because Lil Debbie demonic, and Lil Debbie is designed to make sure you never physically get healthy because when you're not physically healthy, you're now fatigued and tired and you don't want to do the will of the Lord.

YOU'RE TIRED.

YOU'RE TIRED. THE DEVIL IS LIKE, I DON'T EVEN GOT TO FIGHT YOU IN the spirit. I COULD FIGHT YOU with a Twinkie. Come on.

It's like we GOING TO GO TO HEAVEN. WE'RE GOING TO BE LIKE, "LORD, SHOW US THIS BIG BAD DEVIL. HE GOING TO SHOW TWINKIES and cookies in movies."

It's like I'm not GOING TO BE TOOK OUT BY A DONUT. LIKE, NAH, BRO. MM- NO, I refuse. Like, I I'm I'm I'm giant slaying, devil chasing. LIKE, I'M NOT I'M NOT DONUT HUNTING AND Twinkie hunting. Okay?

You're going to go to heaven. You going like, "Tell me about the WARFARE I WENT THROUGH ON EARTH." serving them like Twinkies, donuts, and chips. Okay, that took you out in the spirit like what? Like no, you have to understand what is your destiny and then you got to start creating your day, your week, and your month in such a way that it serves your destiny. You got to manage your time. I want to tell you something. When the devil wants to control you, he breaks your clock.

He breaks your clock. When the devil wants to control you, he scatters your calendar. Get in order. The Bible says redeeming the time. The Bible says it this way. It says redeeming the time that the locust has stole. What is the locust? It's the distractions of the devil that comes to steal your time. And God says he's going to redeem it. He's going to put time back on the clock. What does it mean to redeem? And God is saying that what I'm going to do with your time is all the time that the devil wasted, all the time that you lost, all the time you spent distracted, I'm going to bring back such an energy, such a grace, such an anointing that you're going to do this year what it would have took you five years to do because I'm redeeming the time. God's redeeming the time. You have to use time wisely, and he wants to redeem it. So your daily routine, what are you doing every day? What are you doing every week? What is your patterns? What are your rhythms? Until you get this down, you're not going to live effective. You're not going to do everything the Lord has for you because the devil is just going to get you so busy that you will never be effective. Your daily routine is the secret to your future. I just want to say this, and I'm learning this because I'm a really busy person, is busy is distraction. Busy is distraction. Anybody that's busy, you need to sit down and re-calibrate your life. You need to take it all apart and you need to recalibrate your life because God didn't call you to be busy. He called you to be effective.

You were so busy on this earth, but who did you win over to Christ?

You were so busy, but who did you help? You were so busy, but do your kids know God? You were so busy, but how is your marriage? You were so busy, but but but but what did you build? Did you leave a legacy? Did you build something that would outlive you? Or did you just come here and just take up oxygen and just operate until you expire?

How is your life lived? And I want to tell you something. You don't have much life.

You don't have much. Because some people like, "We, I'm going to live to be 90." But if you live to be 90, you have to think of it this way.

If you spend eight hours sleeping a night, as you should, that means that 30 years of your life is spent in your bed. My guy,

if I sold beds, I would use that. Um,

30 years of your life is spent in your bed. Which means that you, if you live to be 90, you only live to be 60.

You spend eight hours at work, that means 30 years of your life is spent at work. Which means if you live to be 90, you only live to be 30.

Half of that ain't spent on Netflix. So you spent 15 years of your life on Netflix,

which means after all your TV series you watch, you may only live 15 years of life.

Wait, WAIT. YOU HAD TO TRAVEL back and forth. So once we cut that down, you may live eight years of actual life.

What are you doing with it?

And how can you redeem it? This is why you can't waste time distracted and watching TV and being discombobulated. You don't have enough of it. You don't have enough.

Third of IT GONE OFF TOP SLEEP. Another third at your job.

Which means you need to find a job you really like. If they going to get a 30 YEARS OF YOUR LIFE,

I need to work on purpose. They pay a dollar more here. Who cares? I need to be WHERE GOD HAS CALLED me to be, if I'm going to spend a third of my life there.

Which means my job has to be a part of my purpose if I'm going to be there, if I'm going to spend a third of my life there.

And then secondly, if I'm going to be on Netflix, this better be A REAL GOOD SHOW IF I'M going to spend years of my life watching TV. So, guard your clock. Uh, the next one is guard your focus. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your ways to the Lord and your thoughts will be established." Guard your focus. We live in a day with some of the most unfocused people that's ever existed. The cell phone, this right here is a blessing and a curse.

It's a blessing and a curse. We're so divided. I was at the stoplight and I just look at the stoplight. People are texting at the stoplight, which means that you are so encumbered by your phone, you can't wait to text to your next destination. People are texting at the stoplight. People are in the bed with their phones scrolling up and down social media looking for something they would never find. People are people are are embraced inside of their devices. People can access you at any point in time. We live in a day now where anxiety is at an all-time high. Depression is at an all-time high. It's because we have this chemical in our body called dopamine. And every time you get a text message or phone call, or you see something you like on social media, it feeds this chemical. And it's the addictive chemical, the same one that gets people hooked on drugs. A lot of us, we're addicted to our phone.

And you can't even go a second without checking it. Have you checked it since you've been in church? Which means you can't even come to the house of God without being worried about what's happening to your phone because you're an addict.

You're an addict. You're addicted to your phone. YOU HAVE TO STOP. I HAVE A hard time where I just stop using the phone.

There's a certain time at night where I quit using the phone. I quit texting. I I quit responding to things. I quit reading emails because I don't want to be addicted to my phone. Because what happens is it makes you a distracted person. And do you know every time you're working and you check your phone, it takes you 15 minutes to get back to focus.

Which means that if you check your phone four times, you've lost an hour of focus.

And focus IT WORK WHAT powers work is focus.

Focus is what powers work. Jesus was so focused. Everywhere he went, what would he say? "I must be about my Father's business. I must be about my Father's business." He was never distracted with the cares of THE WORLD. WHY? WHY DIDN'T JESUS HAVE A HOUSE? THE son of man had nowhere to lay his head. WHY? I AIN'T GOT TIME FOR A house and mortgage and LAWN CARE. MY FATHER'S BUSINESS. My father's business. My father's business. Well, why did he have to be so focused? Well, Jesus had 33 years of ministry, three and a half years of ministry. Well, he going to have to spend one year. We know we heard about the third. One year of that sleep. God,

he going to have to probably spend the next year that just walking from town to town. He didn't have a Cadillac like you.

Which means he got a year of ministry to save the whole world.

He don't have time for a house. He don't have time for religious politics. He don't have time for all. I MUST BE ABOUT MY FATHER'S BUSINESS.

And everything Jesus did was about his Father's business because he understood that he had time for destiny. And if Jesus didn't accomplish his destiny, we would have all died in sin if Jesus never made it to that cross and he never got up about that grave.

He understood his assignment. Why don't we understand ours?

Focus. Focus. Focus. I want to show you the difference between between uh uh uh focus and not focusing. If I got a flashlight, I could shine across this whole room and illuminate it. But in surgery, they can use a laser to cut through bones. Same light but one is concentrated and focused and because of the concentration it can cut through things. WHAT ARE YOU NOT ABLE TO CUT through because of your lack of focus?

I don't have enough time to get all this done but I'm on the phone with my friend texting my other friend watching TV listening to music and um thinking about seven other different things. If you would concentrate on one thing at a time you would start cutting through things but you have to focus. Come on.

I don't have enough time. Turn off your phone.

Turn off your TV. Turn it all off and then do the things you need to do around the house. Now all of a sudden 7 hours turn into two.

Because it didn't that you lack time, you lack focus. Time is never a good excuse. If Jesus saved the whole world, three and a half ministries, about a year of actual ministry time, if he can save the whole world in that little bit of time, why can't you change your world?

You need focus. And focus comes from concentration and elimination.

What do you need to eliminate? What do you need to get rid of? I talked to people, "Pastor KJ, I can't come to church." I'm like, "Why?" They're like, "Cuz I got like three businesses." For what? If you got THREE BUSINESSES, YOU KNOW WHAT that nine times out of 10 tells me that probably none of them make any real money.

That's what it nine times out of 10 tells me. Cuz if you actually had a real business, I'm not trying to come for you. YOU WOULDN'T HAVE TIME FOR TWO MORE.

And who works at all three of these companies? You, yourself, and you.

How about we get one business?

We focus on the one that we're actually called to do and serve. And then we build a team and a staff around that one and we grow and then maybe from that place we can start some other ones.

But now you got all these THINGS GOING. SOME PEOPLE LIKE TO FEEL BUSY. I'M JUST BUSY. I GOT TO GO HERE AND HERE and here and here and here and here and then in the sphere you went nowhere.

For what?

You need focus.

You're distracted. And the devil, if he can't get in front of you and stop you, he just gets behind you and push you too fast.

And many of you guys are being pushed by the devil because you're not led by the spirit. Give him a shout of praise. And the last one, and this one is don't delay. Ecclesiastes 11:4 says, "He who observes the wind will not sow and he who regards the clouds will not reap." So God is saying that if you, if you, if you go and if you are watching the wind, you'll never sow anything. You know, people, they're always about to do something, but they never do it. They're always meant to do something. You know, we were just about to start serving, but but WE WERE JUST ABOUT TO START VOLUNTEERING, BUT BUT WE WERE JUST ABOUT TO START THAT BUSINESS, BUT BUT WE WERE JUST GOING TO COME TO BIBLE STUDY, BUT BUT WE WERE JUST BUT but you are regarding the wind, so you never sow.

WHAT GOD'S CALLED YOU TO DO, GO DO IT.

Do it today.

Do it today. Do you know what procrastination is? Procrastination is believing you can do tomorrow what God has anointed you to do today.

Today. I want you to know there's never a perfect time.

There's never a perfect time. We want real estate, but the interest rates are too high. Yeah, they're going to be too high. And when they're not too high, then all of a sudden there's going to be another reason of why you can't get in real estate. And there's going to be another reason of why you can't buy a house. And there's going to be another reason of why you can't start the business. And another reason of why you and your family can't get some alone time and recalibrate. There's always going to be a reason if you watch the wind. It's never the perfect time to do anything.

And if you watch the clouds, it's always going to look like it's about to rain. It looked like it was going to rain this morning.

You're never going to harvest anything. So what you have to do is stop delaying.

Stop delaying. We live in a world of delay. And one of the biggest reasons why we delay is because of fear. We're afraid.

One of the things that you have to quit delaying is difficult conversations.

Difficult conversations in life, in marriage, in ministry, in business, at work. One of the things that kill productivity, kills relationships, kills marriage is delay.

Delay in difficult conversations. I remember when my wife and I were going through marriage counseling and I remember the pastor, he gave us the best advice. He said, "The moment you're frustrated, you're aggravated, you don't like something, y'all need to talk immediately." And he told me, he said, "And as the leader of your house, never allow delay." And that's something that I practice, which means that if something's ever wrong, I'm so quick. I'm swift. If I feel like someone's mad at me or upset, "Hey, are you okay? Hey, can we talk? Can we meet? Let's talk. Let's meet." Um, unless you're just always mad, then I ain't got time for you because you're a distraction. I give you two or three, and after that, you're just crazy. You know what I'm saying? I ain't going to let crazy run my life either. I ain't having that.

I'm on purpose. Amen.

But quick and swift. Have those conversations. Do the hard things. Man, I want to start working out, but I'm JUST TRYING TO WAIT TILL THE GO.

Go now. TODAY. GO WALK AROUND YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD. What are you waiting on?

Stop delaying because delay leads to decay.

Leads to decay. One time I had a little, a little bitty dot on my tooth. All I needed. All I needed was a filling. And I was like, "Okay, I'll get around to it." I delayed. Next thing you know, it led to decay. And I had to go get a root canal.

A root canal. And if you don't know what that is, you don't want to know. It hurt. Okay. And so many times in our life,

we go through root canals because we don't move fast on feelings.

We go through root. Now, now the conversation is going to be a root canal. Y'all going to need counseling. Now,

now the business is going to be a ROOT CANAL. NOW, Y'ALL GOING TO NEED PRAYER, INTERCESSORY, AND EXORCISM. NOW,

you could have just went and had the conversation, but here is what,

Mom, I know my mom's watching. I love you and I don't mean to call you on camera. If you want to whoop me, you can. Mom, you gave me the worst advice growing up. I'm going to tell you what it is. MOST OF YOUR ADVICE IS AMAZING, but this is bad. You told me because your mom told you that time heals the wound. Time does not heal the wound. Time infects the wound.

It infects it.

You have to treat the wound, then give it time, and it heals the wound. Okay, Mom. Got

to let you know I love you though, and I respect you and I honor you. But time don't heal nothing. There's people that's divorced because they was giving it time. "We're just going to give it time." Two years later, divorce.

That's it, pastor.

Time don't fix anything.

Time destroys if you don't have intentional design.

I don't know what's happening in your life. Maybe you're a parent and you're out of contact with your kid. Well, just give it time. No, they're not. They're hating you more every day.

Time fixes. Time doesn't fix anything. It makes it every time I gave some time and came back, it got worse.

Yesterday I rode past the family, the house that my family grew up in. Last time I saw it, it looked nice. Now it's abandoned and vacant. I went back and the thing, it's it's terrible because the law of entropy says whenever you leave something to itself, it decays and it gets worse.

Don't give I'm GOING TO GIVE MYSELF TIME. I'M just here. I'm new to God. I'm going to give it time. No. Give it intention. Give it prayer. Give it deliberation.

And if you do that, you will see your lives change. Let's get in order this year. Let's get serious about the things of God. Let's change our lives. Let's not delay. Let's find our rhythms. Let's find our focus and do the things God called us to do. Come on, stand to your feet. Let's pray.
