When I was growing up, my dad said, "Go to school, get a good education so that you can take your place in society." Well, graduates, you have done just that. And I'm here to congratulate you and your family for all of the hard work and all of the support that they gave you in order for you to be at this moment in your life.
And I just want to kind of remind you of one thing and put everything in perspective and context for you. And it comes out of Matthew 28:18, 19, and 20. And it reads this way. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. In verse 20, he says, "Teaching them to observe all things."
At Grace School of Theology, we've done our very best to equip you through teaching. And it's your job to take that teaching and to go forth and make disciples. We uh trust uh that what we've placed in your hands will be sufficient for you to do the work of the ministry. Paul said in 2 Timothy 2:2 is that we are to pass these things on to other people who can pass on pass it on to other people. It's a ministry of multiplication and that's what our challenge is for you today.
Again, we congratulate you. We are here to support you and we thank God that you became a member of the Grace family. We're here to serve you and we want you to stay connected as you go and move into the next chapter of your life. May God richly bless you and keep you is our prayer.
