Transiting Mercury to natal Jupiter

Truth In Aspect Astrology/ Jewel48:27

A little bit different in our expression. Mercury Jupiter transits are actually very beneficial. Really, all of them are going to bring the potential for good things. Uh, sloppiness, overlooking details, being, uh, lacking humility, being a bit grandiose, those are some of the pitfalls we can run into. So we always know that anytime there's any planet in any combination with Jupiter, what we're watch out for is going on to, or, um, so, or you just been too rosy, too big, planning too, too much, and expecting too much excess. So very different from Mercury Saturn transits. We'll get to compare this next week. Mercury Saturn transits with pessimism, thinking small. Mercury Jupiter, we have expansiveness and thinking and assumption that it's probably going to work out. It's wonderful if we have positive input, input from both planets. Uh, most of us don't have that archetypally correct balance. Something that we're learning, balance between optimism and pessimism to get ahead. That there will be some kind of success or payoff. When we assume that things are going to fail, we can often not even start. Saturn stuff, pessimistic stuff. But when we're coming from a place of assuming that we're probably going to get what we want, things are probably going to work out, we're much, much more likely to have the energy and take the initiative to start something, to do something, to set up on some journey. You know, that's what Jupiter means is journey. Journeys take energy. Jupiter is naturally that fire planet. It burns energy. Think of that how fire works that way. In the, in the fire signs, it, it burns hot, it burns energy. So these [Music] are, uh, maybe that's a good one. Yeah, that's a good one. Hopefully we're doing Jupiter instead of running the merit. So Jupiter and his best, I would say, most evolved, um, expression is going to be putting energy in more for the long haul because it's where the word carries, it's where we see the, the spread of what is personal. So Mercury can be spread thin. Our thoughts and our energy can be spread thin. This is just always something that we have to watch out for with Jupiter is overexertion. With the conjunction, we have the beginning of a new cycle of having our smaller ideas or opinions carrying, uh, new cycle of influence. Uh, we are starting a process of taking steps to further our own happiness or optimism on a daily basis through sharing our ideas, through, uh, having a broader concept of the world start to take shape. This happens often as Mercury is going to conjunct Jupiter. Fairly well, we're going to get it every year of our life. We're going to get this, um, it gives us a chance to sharpen our intelligence, all the aspects of Mercury to, and also to realize how stupid we might be because we spiral into a bigger, broader, better understanding. So when we come to the conjunction, we have the ability to look more towards the horizon. So our view with Mercury in the third house and in Gemini and Virgo is much more close or closed in. So it's our view of the city, the county, the perimeters more immediately surrounding us. But we have a view that takes us beyond what is everyday and it allows us to have a better sense of what's to come and how to position yourself for that, how to plan for that, how to approach that. So we're not focused on petty things. We aren't likely to fight or argue over what is usually important to us. There's a curiosity that is there and our ego isn't as let of a Mars transit sun it. It isn't as important. Um, finding things out is more important than being right. So our curiosity can very much serve us on this particular day, particular. But we do have to be careful about feeling imperious to, uh, feel being more curious about this or that and not being so much in our fears, not being so much attached to what we think, not being so attached to what we think we already know. Um, because we are experimental, we can learn more things. But we are going more towards what is adventurous, what might even be dangerous. So if we are too convinced, if we already have a very confident Mercury, too convinced that it's probably going to work out, if we're going too far off the diving board and not checking if there's water in the pool, then we can be setting ourselves up for a disappointment. What do we already have going on with Mercury? If we have a Mercury where we are less prone to assuming that we might be right or that we're probably right, if we don't have a know-it-all Mercury, this is probably going to be an easier. Well, all of these transits, ah, less intrepid. That's a good one. Less intrepid Mercury. Um, all of the transits from Mercury from Jupiter to Jupiter can be easier because we're not going to so much step in the quicksand of, um, uh, just being stupid. Um, you know, so yeah, you really have to look at who you are. If, if you need added confidence, this can be the thing that can get you asserting yourself or saying something or speaking up in a way that normally you might be really afraid to do. Uh, but if you're somebody that is already pretty confident about what they know, we need to be more careful. I say we, yeah, we, we need to be more careful that, um, uh, we aren't going up the defend. I'd say for a lot of people though, he's probably a better transit than not. I think, especially when it comes to making plans that normally we would be afraid to, uh, to have the confidence in that they're probably going to work out. Okay, details, sting contracts under almost all of the Mercury Jupiter transits is going to be better. Dealing with the law in general, these are really, really good transits for making deals because we see how not just our interest can be [Music] served, but the people around us. Jupiter is law, so we're willing to work with others and we get that back. Law, law, contracts, uh, legal matters, they're also willing to work with us. So we have to really, really get that into our heads that transits show us how our frequency is subtly changing and how that brings a return. That what we put out there brings something back. So we can expect good judgments, rulings in our favor with all of the transits. I, yeah, the square too. With all of the transits, particularly though the sextile and the trine, but the conjunction can also be very, very good for expecting, um, um, judgments in our favor. Um, hold on. It's making me look. It's like a little dot and it's making me look have a like tumor off of my face. It's freaking out. It's got enough problems and I do not have health insurance this year. So I can on my face. All right. So looking at Mercury in a sextile, uh, transit to Jupiter, excellent for working with others, putting our head together with others and expecting good results. Brainstorming, contracts, uh, rulings in our favor, law. Um, if you're behind in rent, this is the time. And the trine, this is, this is the time when it comes to cooperation. Plans are good. Trips are good. Trips work out in our favor. Planning trips for the future under this sextile, they can work out. In fact, if you plan for the trip under the sextile, then take the trip under the shine. Excellent, excellent. Because the way that we put the pieces together, the way that we plan, the way that we take into consideration what we want to get out of it, where it is that we're going, what are the benefits, learning, retaining information, reading, getting something out of what we put our vision and our daily energy into. There's a payoff under the sextile because sextiles are where we have a really good sense of what's in the moment and trying to do. But sextiles are where we very much have a good combining of past and future to give us the best possible result in the present. So this could be a really good week when it comes to signing up for courses, classes, school, uh, enhancing education, buying books and understanding what it is that we want to get out of it. We're not going to waste anything under a sextile. Sextiles are really about maximum efficiency. The usual, uh, issues with laziness, we actually can have under the trine even, but not under the sextile. We don't have to worry so much that we're going to, uh, waste the good opportunities that come with this. So we can make some really, really good strides. And I think at the moment, we can even not be terribly appreciative of what it is that we're building. It can be a quiet or transit, but when we look back on things throughout the year, we can see that, oh wow, I made a really good decision that particular week when it came to, uh, you know, taking on this new job or going into this new avenue of thought. Or, oh, what is the, the saying? Oh, I don't know. Something to the effect of, out of big things, big things come out of little things. It was not terribly, um, we can be opinionated. The sextile, we can be opinionated under any of the transits from Mercury to Jupiter. Generally, it's not something that's going to work out with the effects of say, the square. We are not automatically argumentative, but I think our opinions have good reasoning behind them under the sextile, and we can have more confidence to put our idea out there because we can have a good sense that, hey, my argument, my information, the way I put the pieces together, this is justified. Jupiter is very much about justification, and we can have good reasons to say what we say under the sextile.

All right, so that brings us to where we know that squares are a bit different than sextiles and that, um, we have an issue with combining past and future effectively to get the right, uh, the right action in the moment, in the present. With sextiles, we have that end up trying to have a really good view of then and what's to come, so we can have better experiences than now. We're wrestling with a conflict when we have difficult aspects between where we've come from, where we're going, and what's happening now. So with the square, we can have some amount of inflation that we're dealing with, and it can keep us from having the really [Music] clear, um, I say clear, more informed, or hopefully objective broad viewpoint that we can have with the easy aspects. Um, because we do have more of an assumption that things are going to work in our favor with the square, we're, we're very much airing on the side of it's probably going to work out when we're more balanced with sextiles or trines. But if you have an issue with confidence, if you've had an issue with moving forward, this could be a time where you have more wind in your sails and more hot air. And your hot air usually does. And we can take a chance and maybe we will be wrong, or we won't get it completely right, but at least we did something. So we can make some plans that might need some adjusting under the square, and that will happen very much under the trine. If we do take that chance, and in fact, whatever plans that we, we start under the conjunction, things in, involving vision, education, learning, and eventually, um, sharing our own information. We're going through a period of adjusting and acting on point that began at the conjunction. Can have a bigger, uh, furtherance or acting of that on the at the square, and then looking at, hey, what did I get right? What did I get wrong? More at the trine. With the square, I think sometimes we're not even as concerned with failure as we are with making some kind of progress. It kind of reminds me of that feeling I had, you know, a couple weeks ago. I was working on this wall because I'm building this bathroom here piece by piece. My dad was input on things, so I got to where I was like, I'm just, I have to do something. I have to do something. So I went ahead and, you know, did some construction on my own without his input. And there's some amount of redoing, readdressing of some things that I'll have to do, but I feel like, oh well, something had to be done, or I was going to go crazy. When it comes to taking some kind of initiative on something, and at the square, this, it can put us in that kind of position where we feel like even if I make mistakes, something has to be done. So we might have to revisit the some plans or some amount of action that we take. It's usually not the most painful or consequential thing, but less effective for the sake of just getting, getting done. Um, we can also be a bit insufferable if we already have a very confident Mercury. We can be a bit insufferable this particular week, um, when it comes to sharing our opinions. There's, you know, an assumption of being right. So if that's already going on with you, be careful. If you need out of confidence, this is a good one. It just depends on what you've already got going on. Um, it can be a week also that has us wanting to plan or attend more get-togethers that are not really intended to have a lot of consequence. Yes, baby. H, he had an issue, didn't he, with overconfident? But I think he also probably had a Mars decidedly squared to Saturn. Really? Here, go. Um, yeah, use it. Yeah, just be careful about being an idiot.

Which brings us to the trine. We can solve problems better than usual when we have Mercury in a trine to Jupiter because we see things more in a long range, broader, more encompassing way. We can get hung up on shorter term outcomes if we have Mercury that is not already in an excellent aspect to Jupiter, or so being just more prone, uh, to interpret things more in a broader or long range perspective. Mercury is where we can get into overthinking and we can get into OCD kind of behaviors, and with the trine, it takes us out of that being concerned with what is routine exclusively and being more apt to dedicate our. We just have that Vero in tendency to organize and categorize, and this can be in an effort to maintain some kind of consistency or control. So we are more relaxed when we have the trine, much more relaxed. And in fact, trines are interesting. It's where we drop a lot of our mental or emotional, depending on what the planet is, we drop our mental or emotional resistance for a time. And it is that lack of resistance that allows, so it's, it's going with the flow rather than trying to stem the flow. With squares, we're very much having an issue with stemming the flow. Have to look at squares as like a dam. There's a dam that exists there, and it's holding back that rushing past, and then on the other side, you see the usually much a different type of current. So with trines, it's like we, we, we, we lower the dam, and we have this more homogeneous current between past and future. And the dam is very much there to stem or to protect against what is unfamiliar. And we aren't, uh, experiencing the same, I want to say that the same level or amount or reasons for fear or frustration when we're dealing with trines. So there's this more, this invitation to invitation or adventure to come towards us. We're also more agreeable under the trine in general, and we can have good arguments if we need to make them. We're not as assertive as we are into the sextile when it comes to getting our ideas out there because we do associate trines with relaxation. We get in the inner tube and we actually go like over the down in the into that. So class it a lot with trines. Um, so God, this is just a really, a really good time to get along with others. Just had really big bees come up here. Wow. Hey guys, think they're just giant bumblebees. Hold on, let me study this for a minute and see if I need to move you off the big hairy dudes. E, can you hear me again? Anybody? Okay, a lot of these. So, uh, funny how Mercury's we, we're busy as it be, even more busy. We have Jupiter stuff. Oh, perfect. Um, oh boy. So with the trine, I think we are not as obsessed with finishing. So our, we aren't as triggered, uh, when it comes to rushing around needing to get things done. So it's more like a, a lower, a slower paddle down a lazy river with a good conversation. So we are getting a lot out of it, but not as a result of packing a lot in. This is not a transit that contributes to a feeling of pressure or of needing to organize in a rapid manner. Get much more into that rapidity with the square. So yeah, the relaxation with trines. [Music] Um, yeah, I think it's a lot of a lot of the energy of just allowing things to show up as they are that allows us to understand what something really is. We're very much getting in the middle of something when we're dealing with squares, but with trines, I think there's an invitation towards allowing things to just unfold as they are. So what we plan under the trine can have that, that, uh, outcome of more of a natural unfolding instead of a, a ranging expectation pressure. So these are really, really good transits to form new friendships under, um, to start a new job, go to places or put us ourselves in positions where there's an expectation of a good outcome, but our ego and our sense of, I'd say ownership isn't so much involved.

All righty, so that brings us to the [Music] opposition. Not a bad transit at all. This is the natural relationship between Mercury and Jupiter. They're naturally opposite to each other in the signs of Gemini and Sagittarius, so they come together in a very complimentary way. And in opposition, we have to watch out for arrogance and know-it-all attitude, being too about our ideas, our arguments. Um, it can be very much reflected back to us that we may not know as much as we think we know. That could be helpful for us to receive this information under the opposition. Oppositions are interesting because we more immediately get a return on exactly what it is that we are putting out there. And if we are willing to look at, wow, what what did I have to do with that? If we're willing to be curious about what was the seed that we may have planted, conjunction that resulted in what it is that we're seeing, then we can realize that, oh, oh, oh, okay. So if I adjust or change or address, address what, what, uh, I what I did or how I approached you or, um, you know, what's going on here, and I can get a wildly different outcome. It's, it's where we really, really realize. So with the opposition, how be really helpful for us to understand ourselves. We might be more willing to let that information in. I think that we can find ourselves to be funny. We're not taking ourselves as seriously, I hope, as we usually are. Now, very different say Mercury Saturn thing. Stock with the opposition, it's more like we can laugh at ourselves in a way where there's a willingness to, it kind of allow that information in rather than to just immediately push it away. And it's an endearing thing when we can accept our own balance, our own stupidity. It's actually an endearing thing. I think that so much of the time we resist the truth because there's an assumption that it's going to separate us or, you know, set us apart or result in failure, or there's going to be a humiliation that we may not be able to handle. But the humiliations that we could experience with the opposition, maybe something probably going to be something that we're going to get over sooner than later. So it comes with a, you know, a measure of how do I want to put it? It's like our our hubris is right there alongside our humility, and it's not going to kill us to let the truth in. I think when we have Mercury Saturn transits, we can very much, it might kill us, um, because we take, we could take things very seriously under certain conditions, and perhaps we should. These would not be those conditions. And we have these transits to Jupiter, and it's that window into our own dumbassery that actually creates community, that creates connection. Jupiter is shared stories. Jupiter actually makes us feel good. Jupiter's fun. And if we can see that we may be cutting ourselves out of a good time because of our small ideas, this could be a day or a week that we're willing to be more forgiving. Reminds me of my sister. God, my older sister, a few years ago, I think it was a camping trip. It was like a family camping trip. We all went on. There was a picture my mom took of my older sister. It was, it was the worst picture I've ever seen of anybody. It was just like, it was the wrong angle, it was the wrong time of day, it was the wrong lighting. Everything was wrong about this picture. We were dying about how bad this picture was and laughing and laughing about at my sister. She walked up behind us and laughing, and when she do, she started laughing too. We didn't even have time to share it with her yet, and we were debating it. It was so bad. But it's one of those things where we, we all got to laugh together, and we still laugh about it to this day. And I hope my mom saves it because that was so is that lack of of defense. I think with the opposition, that can make it a pretty darn fun week if we're not taking ourselves too seriously. Um, all right, so why don't we open for questions?
