Hey guys, welcome back to the channel and welcome to the exploration videos of 9.4. We're going to start from 9.4.6 and go backwards. Today's path is going to be mutant and cosmic gate path. And the defenders are going to be Black Widow OG with Bastion followed by Night Thrasher, Mysterio, Kingpin, and also your Prowler. The boss you're going to attempt is going to be the mutant and mystic version, more on him later in the video.

And for the boosts and last reason, you don't really need both of them, but it's good if you boost well and you bring in the relics, they will work out well for you. For the path nodes, it's all about your scourge charges and falter. So, I will explain one by one when I get into the fights, but make sure to bring in mutants with miss counter, mostly with your neuro shocks or your true sense. And same goes for the cosmics, you bring them for the tech champions and you need the counter. So, anybody with vigilance, true sense will work out super well here. So, let's jump into the path and check out the fights.

So, jumping onto the path, this can also be your quote-unquote easy path if you want to do this first. Starting off the path, you're going to have Black Widow Deadly Origin. Now, the way this works that every 2 seconds the opponent will gain a scourge charge that you will see underneath the opponent's health bar in purple. And there is a chance that they will go stun immune for every single scourge charge on them. So, the more the scourge charges, the more chance for them is to go stun immune. Now, every time it will reach to five charges, there will be a falter applied on you. So, that might be a little trouble. So, you have to bring in champions that have kind of miss counter. So, for example, most of your mutant champions are going to have your neuro shocks. So, your Jean Greys, your true sense with Cyclops blue, and also Onslaught with the neuro shocks along with Captain Britain are a few examples. You bring them in and you should not have any problems.

Now, very similar to the skill defenders, they're also going to be tech defenders here. And it's going to be the same thing. They're going to gain those scourge charges every, I think, 2 seconds and they will be paused during the special attacks by either of them. So, once they get to five, they're going to falter and you're going to miss. So, it's better to bring in a champion that has vigilance or true sense and is cosmic to deal with that. I mean, you can bring in mutant champions, but I try to avoid going against class disadvantage because there's a lot of abilities that can affect that. So, it's always good to go for champions that have class advantage. So, I have brought in the Gladiator. Now, Gladiator is not the best pick when it comes to this path, you know, because they go stun immune and that is a problem. So, Gladiator depends on this heavy attack at the end of his basic combo. And if they are stun immune, he will not stun them and that might not connect. But anyway, I still made it work. But if I if I would tell you do not bring the Gladiator for this one, use somebody like Serpent, use somebody who like Warlock or Medusa who have easy access to vigilance and they're not dependent on the stun and you should be all right. And keep an eye out, make sure vigilance is up and you can keep countering the miss. The rest of the path should be easy.

Now, there's another thing. You can parry one of the hits while the while the charges are at 10 and you can eradicate them and deal quite a bit of burst damage. So, that can also be done. Most of these fights will not will not be that long because your defend your attackers will really kill off them very quick. But if any fights go longer and the defender is going to have more than 10 of those scourge charges on them, you can always parry one of the special attack hits. Oh, sorry. For this path, it's going to be a knockdown. You can knock down the defender and those will be eradicated.

Now, I'm going against Night Thrasher Night Thrasher. I'm using an Onslaught. All I'm trying to do is to hold my block, let him throw a heavy and counter with mine. And that's how I will keep the neuro shocks active. Once I have 20 of them, I will go for an SP2 so I can apply those crazy degens. And once the degens go up, it's just a very, very quick takedown. So, right here, 23 degens and I'm going to hold the throw my striker and then into an SP2. And before the SP2 animation is done, Night Thrasher is about to die. So, there we go. So, that is the whole gameplay mechanic and the gameplay loop. Your neuro shock champions and your true sense champions with vigilance will automatically counter the vigilance. You just have to play around the stun immunity that you will get while you hit the opponent.

Here's another example of champions you should avoid. Like that fearless Thanos can work, but he's kind of dependent on stunning the opponent during his heavy attack so he can knock down. But what happens when there's stun immunity, you're not able to do that very reliably. You have to depend on your striker. So, that might be a bit annoying to deal with, but I mean, eventually you can take down the opponent, that's not a problem. But you know, why bother with so much when you can bring in some other champion and have like a better time here. The only one thing with Mysterio is you might need a champion that is either poison immune or they have easy access to armor break. So, maybe bring in one of those uh one of those cosmic champions that have miss counter and are also poison immune or have armor break. Like Medusa will work wonders on this fight. Medusa will be amazing. Also, your Gamora will work really nicely for this fight. So, yeah. So, keep an eye out for those and keep an eye out on that stun immunity as well. So, don't throw a heavy attack while the stun immunity is on just like this because you'll get hit in the face. So, yeah. Now, I have 11 charges. I just want to knock him down so eradicate that. And once I knock down, the charges eradicated and there goes Mysterio. So, [music] eradicating the charge scourge charges is also very important because that will remove all the charges from the opponent and deal them a burst damage and avoid you taking any kind of damage. So, that's also a good mechanic to have when the charges are above 10.

Rest, it's a pretty simple and straightforward path. You will have a lot of fun doing this one. Only thing you need to take care about is the stun stun immunity. That can be a bit annoying to deal with. The defenders are also quite simple. For example, Kingpin, just keeping him to an SP1 and he'll just keep throwing that out and you can punish the SP1 with a heavy if you're using Jean Grey or any other champion to be honest. Just make sure that you're bringing mutants and you should be good to go. And before we know it, we are just melting away Kingpin quite comfortably. And also, I don't need to worry about the shun stun shrug off because Jean Grey is amazing when it comes to that because she passively stuns the opponent as long as she has her shield up.

And the final fight is going to be against the Prowler before the boss. Again, lots of falters and miss involved here. So, if you bring in a cosmic champion that can deal with that, you should be good. To be honest, I'm showing you different champions across different fights so I can give you examples who you can use. You can just pick one champion and run through the whole path. So, you can put full of Jean Grey and you can put a Serpent and you can run through a whole path. Or if you don't want to bother with that, just bring in a Serpent and he will run the whole path for you because he will counter both skill and also tech defenders alike. There will be no class advantage and he will just destroy the whole path for you. So, if you have a Serpent, you can just cheese the whole path with Serpent. Just you know, just chill out, have it on auto play. Here, you know, put some music on and have some fun with this path because this is going to be super chill with a champion like Serpent. He's going to destroy it well for you. Same goes for any other cosmic champion that can easily deal with the miss. He can they can definitely take the whole path. So, yeah.

That's about it of the path, guys. We are going to attempt Carina. That is going to be mystic and mutant one. And another cool thing that I figured out yesterday during live stream, somebody pointed out that when you go to the boss island, you can actually swap out all five of your champions so you can bring the correct ones for the boss. So, let's see that in action. We just brought Prowler down. Let's move on to the selectors. We're going to the mystic and mutant. And look, I can pick out all the five champions so I need. So, I just change my team to all mystics and mutants.

Now, starting off with Carina, this is all about your infection management. If you're not sure how to deal with this fight, check out my video on the Carina bosses explains everything. Or check out for similar as well, he's also having a great guide so that will help you. So, what you need to do in the first part, you just need to stay close to Carina. Every 6 seconds there will be an infection applied on you. Once you have that infection, just try to stack them up. And when they're about to expire, use a special attack. If the infection infection expires when you are using a special attack, you will give Carina corruption charges. And the more infections you have, the more charges of corruption you will give Carina. Now, why that is important? Because when she's above the 15 charges, she's going to throw in a special two that you have to block and that will deal direct damage to Carina.

Now, there is a mechanic here that pauses all the infections on you. So, any basic attack that you deal on the opponent or you hit in the block or you are going to punish the special, that is going to pause. Now, why is it important to pause those infections? You want to stack them up. The more you stack, the more better it is because for every for every infection that expires on you and you use a special attack, you get corruption charges. And you get extra corruption charges if for every stack on you. So, let me try to show it uh SP1. And I have four corruptions on me so I'm going to wait it out. And then I'm going to throw my special when it is about to expire. Look at that. So I've got two infections that expired and then I got up to 18 corruption charges. So if you play it right, this is probably the fastest kind of variant there is. Just stack up to six or seven in one go and the kingdom pause, keep using your basic attacks, don't use a heavy attack or a special attack until you get to six or seven of them and when one is going to expire just throw your special attack and you will see you will go from zero to 35 corruption so so quick. So this is probably one of the fastest and one of my favorite favorite fights of the Corina variant. It's a hard to It's a bit hard to master but once you do it, it's really really fun. So here I am, I have five of those. I'm just staying back and then I'm going to use. Look, I went directly from zero to 16 of those corruptions. Now I'm going to do the same thing again with a striker. Just use a striker and down to 25. And now the corruption charges are 25.

Now you wonder why did I use a striker? Because below 50% health on Corina the phase two starts. Now in phase two you are either striker locked or you are special locked. Everything stays the same but you have to make sure that if you are striker locked you use a special attack when the infection is about to expire or vice versa. If you are special locked then you use a striker, that's how you gain them. And yeah, before you know it, you are able to bring Corina down. I've given you some of the great options. Mr. Sinister, Jean Grey and Kushala are going to be amazing options for this one. Sinister will just heal back all the current damage and if you're using Kushala or any mystic champion, make sure you keep nullifying all the buffs on Corina so you can gain those elder resistance and you can't get crit in the block. That is going to be very important.

So I hope you guys enjoyed this video and you found it helpful. Let me know in the comment section if you have any questions. And yeah, I will see you on the next video that is going to be the third and final video of 9.4.6 exploration. See you later guys. Bye.
