[Music] Blessings, Sunday of judges and counselors, Sunday, the first Sunday of this month, Sunday of the Lord's Supper. I believe we have to, uh, heed the call and obey, right? Our apostle said a few months ago, the desire, he said, my desire is that judges and counselors arise there, and we have been putting together themes of judges and counselors, and I hope, right, that those who, by chance, know how to use their tablet or their phone, I don't know, right, that they start putting together their manuals, right, of when we talk about judges or counselors or stewardship, right, we regularly touch on Sundays, themes of stewardship, right, referring to all the brothers and sisters who are serving, and suddenly it makes one think a little, uh, do they really know what it is, uh, how to administer, right, their privilege that they have? Because I suddenly see that the weeks they are supposed to rest, they don't show up, I don't know why, right? But I personally believe that we do need to improve our service day by day, and we desire in the women's service, at the end of the day, right, to take inventory: How was my day? What did I do? What were the mistakes I made? In other words, right, the blunders I made this day regarding my children, my husband, my home, my privilege, right, my gift, the gifts that the Lord has given us, because I do believe we will be held accountable. Amen. So, we are going to be talking today, we are going to be talking about this judge Jair, about whom I do find myself thinking, right, what was his function, what was needed, and what do I need? And make it personal, right, what do I need to know how to judge correctly, right? Because I do believe we have to learn to judge, and enough of sometimes gathering a team to help us not to judge, but to bring justice to someone, right? When the scripture says that we had to judge well, right? And it also says, if I'm not mistaken, and we'll look it up later, the Apostle Paul, where he is saying, annoyed, right, that how was it possible that we resorted to other instances, that perhaps there weren't people within the people who could judge correctly? And I believe the Lord is raising up, is raising up judges and counselors. My husband was telling me on Friday, right, talking about how there was, what was the first judge, he asked, right, or Othniel, if I'm not mistaken, Lion of God, I think he said that was the meaning of the name, but there I was reading when he was talking about Othniel, there was a phrase that says, "And I will restore, right, I will raise up judges again as at the beginning." So we have to look at the beginning, what was the first judge, how did he judge, what did he do? So we are going to be talking today about this judge Jair. So, also help me to pray. Those who are distant, we thank God. I know our brothers and sisters connect from Oaxaca and Yakim. So let's all learn together. Amen. Close your eyes there where you are. Good God, we thank you for this privilege, Lord, that you give us to open our eyes, Lord, to a new day, Lord, a new morning, a new mercy. Thank you, Lord, for this privilege that you give us, Lord, to teach, Lord, your saints, beloved Lord, to come and equip, Lord, all those, Lord, who long in our hearts, Lord, to judge well, Lord, to advise well. My God, I ask you in the name of Jesus that you pour out, Lord, every spirit of wisdom, of understanding, of intelligence, Lord, of self-control, Lord beloved, as we walk, Lord, that you help us, Lord, to restrain our, our mouths, Lord, our lips, Lord, to be able to govern this tongue, Lord, that so easily, Lord, sometimes, Lord, causes us to get into complicated situations. Beloved Lord, I ask you in the name of Jesus that you cover us with your precious blood, Lord. Those who are distant, I also ask for each one of them. We thank you, Lord, in the name of Jesus. Amen, Lord, and amen. And so, we are going to be talking about this judge. This judge governed, uh, judged Israel for 22 years, right? He had 30 sons and possessed 30 cities. How many sons are we talking about spiritually, right? Because I do believe we have to give, uh, sons, right? We have to be fruitful. But let's begin. It says Judges, chapter 10, verse 3, in this version, "Dios habla hoy" (God Speaks Today). "Then Jair of Gilead arose and judged Israel for 22 years. Imagine, he governed, and together, I believe that governing gives us, it gives us, this governing would have to come with knowing how to judge, right? And sometimes one has to, I don't know how you judge, or how you govern, right? Or or if you are a ruler or a king, that would be another topic. But let's look here at Judges, chapter 10. Let's read it in this other version, from verse 3 to 5. "And after him, Jair the Gileadite arose and judged Israel for 22 years. He had 30 sons who rode on 30 donkeys, and he had 30 cities in the land of Gilead, which were called Havvoth Jair until this day. And Jair died and was buried in Camon." And and notice that, that, uh, it also speaks to us, right? And there I put, I put these, these some writings, and it says that the restoration of judges, and they have taught us that, and I believe we have taught it here, it is necessary, right, that there be a restoration in us. Well, because all of us who are here, all, absolutely all, right, judge, even if sometimes we do it badly, right? And more than judging, we condemn, right? But I believe that among the first tasks, or even being, being small, right? I remember when children are very young, they want to give their reasons, like, "Let me explain, wait, let me explain a little bit," right? Now I am more with my granddaughters because it doesn't fall to me as much, but with my children, it was like it was the law in the house. And then when they could think well and articulate words well and everything, then they tell me, "Wait, wait, let me explain, let me give you my reasons," right? And it makes one want to laugh, and not laugh because they are little, because they start giving their reasons. And now with my granddaughters, I wouldn't do that, I think I would burst out laughing at them and I couldn't, right? But one has, right, from those ages, even being children, us, right, when they would have those tantrums sometimes, and one says, "But there was no reason," one would go to bed sighing, right? And there was no reason. And sometimes, and it also happened to us, right, that we had to go and ask for forgiveness. How do I ask for forgiveness after the scolding I gave and it was unjust, right? And many years pass, right? And then, years later, one says, "I have to go and ask for forgiveness for the spanking I gave at 10, at 12 years old when I wasn't right." That's why I say that sometimes I say, when one is angry, upset, when a complaint is made, don't go quickly, quickly, because we are not thinking. I think that when we are angry, we are not thinking. When we are sad, we are not thinking, right? When something, something sows doubt in us, we are also not thinking. And we are kind of articulating certain things, and at the end of all the things we think, we taught in the women's group, none of them become a reality, right? You can have how many, 5,000, 6,000 thoughts a day, and none of them may happen. But it says here, look, the restoration of judges and counselors is necessary because the church, right, of our Lord Jesus Christ will become a just and faithful city. Imagine, that's what we have to become, that we be a city of refuge, just, that we be a city or a congregation of the just and the faithful. That's why God raised up judges like Jair to deliver his people from friends who oppressed them because they had abandoned him. So, we do believe we have that great responsibility, right, to raise up a just and faithful people, that we be just in our works, right, that we be faithful in all aspects, right? God also used judges to cut off, to annul evil within the children of God who had practiced for a long time. Now, how are we understanding, right, this other phrase that I put there? If God also used judges to cut off and annul evil within the children of God, what is our job as judges? To cut off, to annul, to release, to go, right? And to look, and one says, "My God, use me," right? Don't put it in the biggest thing anymore, because yes, even if we are a small congregation, don't put it as, "Oh, it's because we are few." No, it's already big to judge the situation of a grown child. If we have been put to judge situations with the brothers and sisters in Christ or with the church, and understanding that it is a work that the Lord has delegated to us, and that this would have to be, or is, a city of refuge, right? And that those within this city must be just and faithful. What is our task, right? Like, "Oh, finally, it's a brother, I messed up, oh well, it can't be helped, he fell off a cliff, what's lost?" No, right? Yes, I believe we have to consider that if we don't know how to judge a matter, definitively say, "Let's go, I'll accompany you, and let's both go ask for another counsel." I don't know, brother, what to tell you, but it has to come with your pastor, right? It doesn't have to go to the brother. "Look, this and this happened, look, help me with this, help me to judge, help me to go." That's not judging, that's going to bring justice between two or three to one and tear them apart, right? So, yes, we must be very careful because what we are doing is working, right, helping the beloved. If we say we are going to be with the Lord, we have to help that, right, that the feminine entity, the church, or that we brothers, we can judge to cut off and annul all evil. Who goes to court? The one who behaves very well or the one who behaves very badly? When do we go to court? When we need something, right? For example, someone goes to court for something minor. What do you like? Divorce? No, that's not minor. Changing your name, right? They gave you Guadalupe and you want to remove it, right? Or they gave you, I don't know what name they might have given you, Masiosare, right? And you realized it wasn't a name but part of the hymn, right? You say, "I want to remove it," right? And then you go and say, "I want to remove this because it's not a name, I don't like it," right? But but notice, you go and seek a court. That is, you bring them even in scripture to be able to bring someone to justice. What do you have to do? Go, right, with an elder, let's say, and some witnesses. Let's read it somewhere, right? But with people you can trust, not that we go and tell them certain things, not because look, the judges, God, how did the Lord use them? He used judges to cut off. That when they go, right, to a situation, they reach an agreement, right? Certain things are cut off, evil is annulled, evil is extirpated. If they tell you, God forbid, and it doesn't happen, you have an examination and they tell you, "We have to annul something, we have to extirpate something, we have to cut off a part of your intestine, we have to remove something." What will you say? "No, oh, leave it, it's nothing." No, you say, "Of course, I won't even think about it. Remove what you have to remove, right? Because it will cause me harm." So, when someone comes, right, and wants to be, because here we come, and I do want to be judged. I have gone to my apostle and said, "This is happening in me." I have told him, I have been ministered to by you, and suddenly I have been given certain tasks within the church to do, and I tell my husband, "I am not capable of doing that, I don't want to, right?" And as spouses, sometimes my husband says, "No, you don't want to, you will do it." But it's that I don't want to, I can't, anger will overcome me, anger will overcome me, I am not capable of doing that." And I have gone, right, with my counselors or with my apostle, and I have said, "Look, I am not capable of resolving this." Just by what I am telling you, I am already angry, and I cannot resolve this. But I am not going to the sister, that one, that one, that one, you know what? That sister did this and this, and how can you believe my husband put me up to it? No, I have to go to someone. I say, "Pray for me," to my counselor or to whoever I am asking for advice. "My apostle, pray for me, scold me, tell me what I have to do, why do I feel this way?" You know how the bowels of mercy work? Because right now I feel that I am not capable, and I feel like saying, "Go and let them resolve it in another church that is more capable." No, right? Because I would enter, I would enter very badly, because it is delicate work in which we have to annul evil within the one who comes to be judged, right? And sometimes one sees injustices. For example, outside, I was listening to an injustice, a news report, about an abuse that was committed. It came out in the news, not from this country, but from my country. A news report, a fellow who abused a 4-year-old girl. They reported the fellow, they caught him, they took him away, they put him in jail. After some time, the judge released him, saying that the girl had not given the exact place, time, and date, and they released him. Is that just or unjust? A 4-year-old girl is going to know the date, the time, and the place? I think it's unjust, and it was criticized so much that a judicial power was said to be doing wrong, that it is incorrect. So, those types of things, in which one says, it has to be cut off or annulled. For example, a judge comes into the church, and they are telling him, "Look, I like it." I am telling an absurd story, perhaps, right? Child pornography, and I work in a daycare. What would you tell him? But I am attending church, and I am taking communion, and I am also trying, I am trying very hard. What would you tell him? I am an alcoholic, and I work in a bar, because I can't find any other work. What would you tell him? I am a thief, and I work in a bank, right? And I am indebted up to my neck. There are certain things in which one says, "No, definitely." But they are not telling you that. They are telling you these things that I am telling you, and then you, what are you going to tell everyone? "Look, this and this happened." They are not telling you, "Look, I am with this, with this." These are the areas that many times, some people say, "I don't dare to say it because they will judge me badly." But for us to come, right, to the little room, to talk, right, is for them to annul within us all the evil that is there, right? Because you could say, "No, those are barbarities that I don't do." Sometimes, sometimes we do worse things, right? That are not noticed, and yet they are causing terrible damage. So, the judge, right, has to come and annul, right? I was telling you about that situation with that girl, annul, remove that situation from society that can cause greater harm, and that it goes, and that it enters a center, right, that is called, and that there it pays for what it did, right? Because if not, it is a danger. If evil is not being annulled within a society, so to speak. So, within the church, we have to learn what the job of a judge is, right? To be able to annul, cut off, right? And those things that have been practiced for a long time, how do we get rid of the habit? How will we get rid of them if it's not just something that will do us a lot of good? I will tell you right now, right? Remove sugar. It's difficult. I already drink less sugar. It was difficult for me. They have been processes in which I have to remove sugar. I can't remove tortillas. I love tortillas. I can't remove those. But there are certain things. Chili. Remove it because you already have gastritis, right? You already have ulcers, and you have to remove certain things, right? So, that's what we have to do. It will be difficult. Why? Because we have practiced it for a long time, and even if we know, right, that it will do us good, it is a partnership that will be made, right? So, notice here what Jair or Yair, as you call him, means. In this Reina Valera dictionary, it means "he who spreads light," "illuminator" from Hebrew. "He who shines" or "illuminated" from Hebrew means "he will illuminate," which could have meanings of "illuminated by God." So, he who, right, who could be, or who wants to be a Jair, because many times we say, "I want to be part of the Samuels, of David," right? One says, "I want to be on this team." There are even names given to certain teams, right? But if one wants to be, "I would like to be a Jair," right? Then what would have to be done? To be illuminated by God, that in each judgment, right, or in each situation that comes to you, right? I believe there must be, I don't know any, but there must be out there, right, some just judge, some judge. I believe if there are renowned judges, I imagine in the judicial powers, there must be someone. Because sometimes everything is so discredited, that you say, "No, they have been unjust with money, they buy them," right? But there should be none of that, right? The name has a great meaning, and this name, right, will lead us to understand that whoever wants to exercise government in God's order must make the light of Christ grow in him to be able to illuminate others. And how will we do it, right? If sometimes what we are seeing is more Netflix series, TikTok, right? Short videos, because now we have also gone a bit crazy, right? They say that people now don't tolerate commercials, right? And they watch a TikTok, however long they like, of a minute, and they are desperate for it to end, a minute and a half, right? And we are not filling ourselves with the things of God. We are not careful what we watch or what we hear, and our spirit comes and is not nourished, right, by anything. So, a judgment comes, right, and then you, or a situation to judge, and we are not capable. Why? Because we are not being illuminated by God, right? Because we are not the one who spreads light, right? It's like when you go out. I go out a lot at my house, and absolute darkness, and I always have my lamp. It's that we walk out there with a lamp. The one who takes the dog out, brings the dog out, and we have to be going out. But sometimes, when one goes halfway, the light goes out. Suddenly the light goes out, and I say, "Oh no, and if the coyote starts howling, what do I do?" To go back. So, what do we do if there is no light? You would go, right, without a lamp, without a lantern. I invite you to my house, right? And we'll take a walk. Would you go out, especially when one is not used to it, right? So, yes, I believe we have to be careful. I was telling my sister-in-law, my sister Carmen, we were putting up some decorations for the wedding around 11, 12 at night. Imagine how crazy we were, dark, with a, first the phone's flashlight, and then with the big lamp, and we were working, and it turned out perfect, at 12 at night. But my father used to say that at night all cats are grey. He said, "Tomorrow we'll see how it looks," because at night it looked very good. Because at night things shouldn't be done, right? Decorating the house. Nothing happens, but but no, a situation, judging a matter is delicate, and there are matters in which I believe we should be so honest, so honest, as to say, "I am not capable." Look, brother, I can't. In fact, one starts to hear a serious matter, and you should stop at that moment and say, "Look, I believe, brother, that I will not be able to help you in this situation, but my brother pastor will be able to do it. Let's go." "No, it's that, look, they sent me to you." No, I believe this, this doesn't fall to me to resolve. And we shouldn't keep listening, right? Because, yes, we like gossip, right? No matter how much we say we don't, if not, what did it end up with? We like it, we like it. But there are situations that are very delicate in which we should not. Amen. So, this makes us realize that this is a government, and government is power. So, we should make, right, that our light, right, shines on others. Look what Acts 4:7 says, "For so the Lord has commanded us: 'I have set you as a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.'" So, what are we? How have we been placed? Only the pastor? Only the apostle? No, we have been placed to shine amidst dark circumstances, right? Amidst the darkness. For what have we been placed? To help in all areas. We are wives. For what have we been placed? Wives must study very well: what is help? What is help? So, speaking of this, but notice, it says Psalm 90:17, "Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands." It's repeating it twice because it has a great emphasis on the "i." It should be "establish." So, let the light of Jehovah be upon us. How does the light come into our lives? How do we obtain light? How do you charge batteries? Well, you charge your phone with the cable, and if it's not the right one, it won't charge, even if you have the cable, light, and connection, and whatever else, it won't charge. And even if you put it in the sun, asking God to please charge it, it won't charge. We have to have the right things to be able to. How do we charge ourselves? Through the scripture, by seeking God, by having the good habit of gathering, right? By having the good habit of going and telling the pastor, "Pastor, I want to be ministered to, even if it's for two minutes." "How do you see my walk, pastor? Tell me honestly, right? What can I do to improve my service?" If you say it's good or moderately good, how many times do you go into the little room? And if it's not ministry, let it be counseling, or let them give us a little scolding, right? Doesn't it happen to you that when you're going to take a picture, and I sometimes see the sisters, "Oh, her mascara fell off, I'll send her something. Oh, her eyebrow smudged, I'll put on eyebrows." "This happened to her." I'm a bit nosy, a sister said. A visitor came one day, and she wore dark glasses, dark glasses, dark glasses, and we hosted her in my house, and all day dark glasses. And it provoked me to say, "Are your eyes bad?" And she said, "No, I forgot my makeup, and I have no eyebrows or eyelashes because I've put on so many eyebrows and eyelashes that they've disappeared. I look like a fish." And I said, "And what can I help you with? What can I help you with?" "It's not that I'm going to put together a makeup bag for you," of what I have, "so you don't have to wear your glasses." Oh, you have no idea how many hugs I got just for that. But but one helps, right? One helps. So, let the light of Jehovah our God be upon us. How do we need to be well? We need to unload ourselves, remove all burdens, right? And one adds light, that her, that another, that another. Another way, right? How did Moses do it? How did he shine? By praying, by going up the mountain. It shows, you don't have to be critical, right? But but I sometimes say, "They put him to pray, and this one, it shows he doesn't pray. They put him to pray, and he made a mistake. What he wants to do is shine, not pray." He had his debut and farewell. I say, "I won't look at them again in certain places." Not here. So, let the light shine on our faces, that when you are listening to a situation to judge, I believe it could even be seen as that flame within your eyes, and saying, "I will listen, but I will listen, and right away it will go there where everything will burn, and I will help, right, with something." It says, "But the path of the righteous is like the dawning light that shines brighter and brighter until full day." So, how do we have to be? When it's 2 or 3 in the morning, and you wake up and say, "Ah, it will dawn soon." And sometimes it completely takes away our sleep, that you say, "I don't want to sleep again." Doesn't it happen to you that you say, "I want to sleep again"? There are times when no, you turn over, you were uncomfortable, and you adjust yourself. But there are times when definitely, "What time is it? 2 in the morning, my God. I have to get up at 5:40. I want to sleep, I want to sleep." And you don't sleep. You know that dawn will come soon. Do you agree? That's how we should be, right? Like the dawn light, that dawn will come soon. So, there I put a little picture. That's who you have to be, and the others that you have there are your clients, right? Those who go to trial with you, that suddenly, right, you are the one who illuminates them. You are the one who will help them, right, to shine a little, because light is contagious. You have a, you never went to ask for lodging, speaking of the dates coming up. No, sister, now that you see, you see, no, but it's that you carry a candle, right? Or something like that, you will illuminate a little, even if it's a little, but you will be illuminating, right? So, the growth of light in a child of God must reach such a magnitude as to become light. That one there became light. How did it start? How does a wick start? You light it, and how does it start? First slowly, until it illuminates, and when the wick is a bit stained, it suddenly starts to smoke, and there are certain things to clean the wicks, and there are certain things one has to do, right? But the growth of light in us, in me, say it, the growth of light in me, right? Because you are a child of God, you are a daughter of God, it must reach, right, the magnitude of becoming that light. That light, how many is it illuminating? 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, at least 8, 9, quite a few. That we illuminate quite a few, right? Because that has to happen. Look, here we will look at this other one. The walk of the child of God must be evolutionary. Forward or backward? Evolutionary. We have to go like the dawn light, as we read a little while ago. The light of Christ must grow in intensity in such a way that all darkness disappears in him. And this is noticed by the way of life. You have dim lights in your house. Look, my lamps have, there are now lamps that have four tones, right? And when one puts them on, one says, "Hmm, a romantic one, right?" And you put it on, it's not controlled. Well, here, a low one. And when suddenly a white light arrives, I say, "Oh God, how ugly it looks. Everything up there is full of dust, little things." No matter how clean your house is, put on a good light, and you will see, right? Because that's what light has to do: look at the dust that accumulates. Who knows how all that fluff gets up there? Maybe from the vacuum cleaners, I don't know. But how, how does that thing go up? But notice how it has to be. The walk of the child of God must be evolutionary. How are we? How are you, who are privileged, right? That you come to classes, to be a good judge, because I hope that's what it is, not just another class. I want it, I need it. The light of Christ must grow in intensity, so much so that, as I told you, when it is at the intensity of those white lights, right, that all darkness is dissipated, all the dirt is extirpated, cleaned, removed, that everything that needs to disappear disappears. And that must be noticed by the way of life. Speaking of the person whose light is evolving, growing, becoming bright. The works they do, what are they? What is the way of life? The works they do out of love for their brothers, because I have heard a lot, "Oh, well, we're not family anyway. Oh, I'm not interested. That's your problem. Mine is sick." How ugly, but well, neither here nor there. No, no, because we are the family of faith. This is the church, or it is your house. These are the brothers of your family. That's how we should look at it. Are you interested in those of your house? Why? Because they are Mendez, right? Or are they Galves, or are they Cepeda? I don't know, right? Because we are of the surname, we carry the same blood. No, because here, here we were bought and we are with precious blood shed on the cross of Calvary. So, he who comes here to the church comes to the church, or comes to a house, a house of restoration where I, and you, are being restored, right? We are in a house. But notice now that we went to a retreat in Las Vegas. Do you know how it feels? Well, at least I felt like family, at home. I saw my brothers who only go to pay for tickets and are drinking coffee outside. I also saw some sitting next to me, whom you would want for a photo. I didn't take any photos, right? But suddenly, there was peace. Some known brothers, or of renown, or who preached, but we were all sitting, learning. We need to learn. Everyone needs to learn. And just as I saw there, I believe you see here: the one who goes to the bathroom, the one who talks for 20 minutes out there, the one who comes to waste time, the one who comes to show off, the one who is not interested, the one who comes to get something, I don't know what. Equally, it shouldn't be like that. That's why, look, the light of the Lord will be noticed in our way of life. We will have important the things that are truly important, including the privileges we have, our service, regardless of the area, it is a service for the Church of Christ. How is your way of life? The way of life you have is noticed by the works we do. I was just telling them, and I tell everyone, right? Now that we went to the women's mini-retreat, thanks, perhaps personally, like "Thank you, thank you, thank you," but thanks to God that we were able to do it. I could tell you that we cleaned, decorated, cooked, carried, and threw away the trash all together. Thanks for that great work, because we achieved it. And another event, thanks to God that we achieved it. We did the children's one. Wow, that's a mess. Thanks to God that we finished it. And when we finished it, we had all the things loaded in the cars, and still, not only did you get rid of the things and put them in the cars, but you have to go wash, throw away, put things back in their place. I'm going to take it to my storage room so you can see that it's a mess. Do you understand now? Because sometimes we have the order in disorder, everything clean, messy. But oh, I just arrive. My husband says, "And how much more is left now?" And thanks to God, we were given a date, right, for a meal, I think a day or two before Thanksgiving. It's good to be able to come and socialize. We come, we do it. But how are they? What is the way of life like? What are the works you do? I tell them, not just that your works bring the wine or the bread or the apples or the grapes or the arrangements we bring or what we arrange. We arranged on Friday, we arranged a bit, we put a bit more color here. I tell them, "How do you fix it? How do you see it out there? That's how we'll put it in here." I think it's moderately like that because I think the tone is coming in late. But I tell them, "I don't want you to stay there thinking, 'Oh, the sister brings all these things,' but rather that the things you bring from up there become, and when you have a need, you have accumulated that up there." That is a way of life. That the works you do are not just that. That the love for the brothers, right, that unites us, that perfect bond which is love, that it not only be that the pastor and I are a bridge, right, from this brother to this brother, that we are not the bridge of communication between this brother and that brother, but that it be the bond of love, which is Christ Jesus, that unites them. That the moment comes when I and the pastor, or the elder, or the counselor, don't have to be in the middle, that I don't have to hear those things where they say, "You can't be here to be well, and then if I'm not here, they will be unwell." So, if I'm not in the middle, they will fight, do you understand? Those things they say, right? Because, because then we will judge between two or three witnesses, let's see how we will end up. So, those are the works done in love for the brothers, the justice that is practiced, because justice is practiced, do you agree? So, notice the justice that you practice and the actions you do. How are your actions? Tell me or talk. Close your eyes and say, "Lord, how are my actions? If they are reprehensible in the eyes of men, without a doubt, they are reprehensible up there." Those are the daily inventories. That's because you have to go to sleep. You have to, like a diver, decompress, do a review of the day. "Ah, Lord, today I did it again, I don't know, the meat, Lord, and we ate pizza, and yesterday hamburgers, and the day before at a restaurant, and the rent is coming, and I have no money." Those are the things we should stop and say, "Because I didn't take out a package of meat, all the tomatoes rotted, and I did nothing." No, how do you go? At the end of the day, we have to take our inventory. Look, the proclamation is coming. How are we? What year was it? How has your reward been? Scolded, sister, all year? Pure scolding, sitting, and adjusted? That's good, that's good, I'm glad, right? Those are the, the, the just payment for your works. But thanks to God that the Lord speaks to us, right? And that he doesn't ignore us, right? So, notice what John chapter 1, verses 4 to 5 says: "In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it." Let's look at how many I put. Leviticus 17:11, "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life." So, I told the children of Israel, "You shall not eat the blood of any creature, for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off." Look, I put there, I believe you understand that. In the beginning, there was no blood within the human being, there was light. So, when did blood appear? Then there must be a change from blood to light, and to become luminous beings. We would have to reach that. That's why we come to be restored. That's why we come to raise an altar here. Because we have to be filled with the life of Christ, which is light. And if we are filled with the life of Christ, what will be in us? Blood or light, right? That's why I put those two. Because sometimes, at least for us women, those monthly periods seem like a scourge, and one is thinking, and it's a situation. Don't think that women handle it perfectly. No, don't think so. And then, when the periods stop, they don't handle it perfectly either, because there I can tell you another difficult situation, right? But there must be a change.
Truth. There must be a change because if in the beginning, truth, life was, was, was, let's say yes, life was the light of men, in him was life, and the life was the light of men, and the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. Then what, what do we have? There must be a change in us. It is describing the life of all flesh. Now it is the, the, the, the blood. So we, we must return to the beginning. How do we return to the beginning? How is there a change, truth, from blood to light? How are we going to become luminous beings? Because to be able to judge, truth, there must be the light of Christ. It must be in us. And if Christ is in us, there must be what? Love, mercy. Ah, what else? Peace, patience, self-control. Because if not, we are going to get our extremities involved, whether it's the area you're supposed to judge, whether it's with the children, even you and your husband judge or criticize each other. If you criticize each other, we leave. If we criticize each other, we leave fighting. How many have we left fighting? And the husband says something to you, and you, but, ah, but you also, this and this. No, that's already attacking him, truth? And sometimes one has to learn to, like, to be quiet. I suddenly say, [Music] mm, habanero chili, so that it makes me chili and I'm not able to articulate a word. No, no, no, no. I, I, I, to me, to me, look, certain things cause me very serious harm. I say, sometimes we can talk to you and the pastor, and I say, talk to him. If you are both going to go talk to him, it's perfect. I'm going to leave some of these because I, I, it's harder for me, and if I, if I come before the Lord and say, Lord, work on my bowels of mercy. Help me, beloved Lord, please give me a spirit of power and self-control. And when I am, and when it's my turn to be in a situation like this, I say, my God, help me. Help me. Don't speak. Don't speak. Don't speak. Stay quiet. Don't speak. Father, please help my husband so that he speaks. Truly, I tell you because that is complicated. So, to become beings of light, in the Bible we find several elements that will help us reach this dimension of the son of God. Amen. Pay attention here, because the commandment is, because the commandment is a lamp, and the teaching, light, and the way of life, the rebukes of instruction. How many have been rebuked this year? Who has the top? Sometimes one says, oh, me again. Oh, what did I do now? There are already some who enter and say, now me, and now what did I do? But, but, look at what it says there. How interesting, because the commandment is a lamp. How many heed a command? Look, my apostle has very subtle ways of asking for things, and, I mean, he orders without ordering, and he uses the word "my desire would be this, it would be my desire" a lot. When he speaks on Thursdays, for example, for pastors, it's a detail, but if we heed, truth, and recognize, if we recognize authority, it will be less work for us to obey, although it is difficult, truth, because I believe that as a child, for example, I, as a daughter, had a lot of trouble obeying. I stayed quiet, but I had a lot of trouble obeying. I didn't understand. There were things I definitely didn't understand. There were some, 17, 17, at 18 years old, at 19 years old, when my mother would start saying, I would say, oh, my mother, let's see when my mother finishes. My mother sees that the neighbor comes to visit you a lot, and what does he come for? To ask for material. But he asks for material and stays for a while. And who is he? Well, he's his father's son. I would go around my mother because, and my mother notices that in the questions my mother asked me, she realized that there were things I knew about my client that I shouldn't have known, because he was only my client. And who is he? she would say. Ah, well, he lives in such a place. Ah, that was already too much, because the client, I, who was his, the provider, let's say, I didn't have to know so many things. And he has a daughter, I told her. Ah, he's married. He's a single dad. With that, I had already put the noose around my neck. All that was missing was for my mother to pull the other, the other ex. Ah, well, I don't want to see him here anymore. Oh, my mother, but why? Well, for obvious reasons, because I had already explained more than I should have to my mother. You understood me then. So, one has to, there must be, look, certain things, certain, certain subtleties in oneself. And my mother, just as she didn't turn green or anything, but my mother, so calmly, when I least expected it, she would already, truth, she would reprimand me and give me instructions. She told me, I don't want these things to happen, and these are going to be, Claudia, please, when she told me, because she told me many things, shorty, chapis, whatever you want, but Claudia, please, because the neighbor is going to pass by, because he's going that way, and it's exactly 4 o'clock when I go to school, and he's going to give me a ride. Claudia, please, my mother would say, and I, oh, it's just a ride, please, Claudita, please. And for me, that was already a reprimand and an instruction. So, we have to be understanding. Why? Because she was speaking to me for my own good. So, the teaching is light. The teaching is light. Look at what Habakkuk says: "His radiance is like light; rays stream from his hand, where his power is hidden." So, it is, it is, it is the, the, the one who comes, truth, the teaching. Let's heed the teaching. Why don't we like it? We don't like to be taught. Why? Because I do it well. It's not good for us to be taught. Ah, I already know that. Peel 40 cloves for me, and there's skin after skin. Ah, it got stuck in my nail. Come, I'll teach you. No, but I already know. Come, I'll teach you. No, I already know. Look, you put the garlic, you crush it, it's easy. Why are you getting everything stuck? But they already know. They already know. I, I told someone, I hired someone for my daughter's meal now. So, I arrived and I said, and I'm very bad at, excuse me, and I was going to pay. Excuse me, do you know how to follow instructions? And the woman looked at me like this, because I want you to do it the way I want, not the way you want. Of course, she said, yes, I know how to follow instructions. Tell me how you want things. Ah, so when she told me that, I said, I want it like this, and like this, and like this, and like this, and like this. I will give you the instructions, and you will do it. Did you understand me? But no, but that they tell you like this, brother. Do you know how to set a table? No, well, if you want, do it yourself. No, we have to say, well, yes, I know, but how do you want it, truth? Or how, how, what do we have to learn, truth? So, the Lord, look, has established five ministries, five, and we know them and we attend to them well, truth, that through, through teaching, that through teaching, it leads us to the full knowledge of the son of God. Maybe I know how to do it well, but if it can be done excellently, teach me. I will do it. One time, two came and told me, we, we'll do your PowerPoints for you. And I got angry. But I can do it with the whiteboard, but we'll do it for you. I said, oh, I did badly, sad, sad, sad. And I said, no, I have to learn, and I don't do them that well, eh. There you have it, and I learned in one night. I went to sleep at 4 in the morning, but I will achieve it. And my husband said, come, I'll do it for you. No, no, I have to achieve it. The brothers won't do it for me. I will do it. I will achieve it. But let the internal fury make us achieve it, truth? Yes. And then they told me, no, bigger, different color. Don't do those things. Look, to avoid difficulties, black and white, and that's it. And like that, no. Like that, we don't get into trouble. So, but what did the Lord establish? He established five ministries, and through teaching, through it leading us to the full knowledge of the son of God, to the condition of a mature man. Is an 18-year-old mature? No, 21 years old? No, more or less. And the fruits, when? Oh, but he speaks in tongues. And what about me? If he speaks in tongues, it's about fruits, not gifts. That's good, truth? But there are certain things that we have to understand. So, we have to reach the full knowledge of the son of God, the condition of a mature man, to what end? To reach the stature of the fullness of Christ, and not to say, today I'm going to another church, tomorrow I'm an Adventist, better a Jehovah's Witness. Oh, I've come back again, brother pastor. No, look, I've never changed my last name or nationality. Today I'm not short anymore, now I'm tall. I can't. There's no way. There's no way. There are things I can't change. I already know that when I buy clothes, I'll have to lengthen the hem and cut the sleeves. I know, truth? And not be shaken by winds of doctrine. Those are teachings. Oh, they told me over there that no, no, no, no, that the light, that its radiance is like light, truth, that it has rays that come from its hand. Five ministries, and there its power is hidden. Where? In the mighty hand of Jehovah. That's what Habakkuk 3:4 means. From there it emanates. Oh, is the apostle more than the pastor? No, they are all important. Is this finger more than this finger? It has certain things, but this finger, this one is incredible. Ask them. I didn't cut myself. I had an accident, and this one alone, this, this fat one is great. This is a single nerve, a single tendon. It recovers on its own. That's incredible. It's my favorite fat one. This one that is thin, but it's there, and without it, nothing can be done. Nothing. You can't hold a glass, a cup, nothing. This finger is so incredible that when that finger is missing, they put one from the foot. No, if you want, they put it on. Why? So that you have a functional hand. This one is very expensive. My apostle, that's my favorite fat one. No, no, don't think so, but that's very important. So, what is its radiance? It's like light. And what about my pastor? And what about my prophet? And what about my teacher? How delicious. Doesn't your ear itch and you scratch it? How delicious. That's the teacher. Don't you enjoy? Who do you enjoy? Pastor Julio Herrera. Who else? A Stuardo. Oh, how delicious, right? Yes. So, we don't enjoy them. Are they necessary? Yes, yes. It's like the light that has rays that come from its hand, and there its power is hidden. Understanding that. Thanks to the Lord who has given us that understanding. Amen. Isaiah 51:4: "Attend to me, my people; listen to me, my nation, for instruction will go out from me, and my justice will become a light to the nations." So, what is it, to be just judges? Just judges are light. That there are people here who, who, who, who are good judges. That is light for the people. We already put it up a while ago, even in a photo, right? Yes. So, what do we have to understand? As the church of Jesus Christ, we must understand that God has raised up ministers who are light. Thanks to the Lord that we know ministers who are light, in the manner of, of this judge, Jair. For what purpose? To guide the people. So, another element to grow in the intensity of light is the justice of God. How must I act? How, how did Christ Jesus act? Well, we are seeing other profiles, Otoniel, Jair, which other judges, truth? So, we have to understand, because the word says, truth, that what we just read, that he will establish his justice, for what? For light. So, in this, the sons of God and the sons of the enemy will be manifested. May the Lord rebuke him. He does not do justice. So, if he does not do justice, and you are doing works that are not just, then on whose side are you, truth? And I would not want to be on that side. So, if we are just, it will be noticeable. It will leave you satisfied. Satisfactions remain. If we do not love our brother, and it is not God, every judge must grow in justice so as not to judge according to what the eyes see. Here is the point: he should have put it and underlined it. Every judge must grow in justice so as not to judge according to what his eyes see, for with it he must gird his loins. So, we must, we must, we must. But tell the Lord, Lord, help me grow as a judge. That judge who one day said, I am not capable of, of handling your case. Let's go to the pastor so that he can hear this, this, this situation. In time, he will be able to resolve those cases. How does one become a judge, a magistrate, or a judge? One must have a lot of experience, and also, obviously, have made many mistakes and, and correct the mistakes too, and say, I ask for forgiveness for this that I did. I think publicly, you do something publicly, we would also have to ask for forgiveness, and publicly we would have to correct. I have been your servant, brother, I didn't know. Forgiveness, truth? But to come and acknowledge, he who confesses his sin and turns away obtains mercy, truth? Yes. So, we will move forward. The judge must, the judge must love justice to be able to judge, abhor evil, and as a consequence, God will unite him. So, there must be an anointing, a recognition, truth. Justice can envelop, look at what it says there, clothe and cover the son of God with light. How? Because when his actions are just, they clothe him with clean and shining linen to be part of the host of the Lord Jesus Christ. First, the word came to him, the matter, truth, he will judge, and then he must cover him with light. He must pray for him. He must do many things, not just, like, oh, resolve it, and I don't want to see you again. No. And then it says there, because when his actions are just, they clothe him with clean linen, because he will depart with the Lord, his, and I, now I, who am a judge, and he whom I am judging, we will go with the Lord. Amen. It says, just actions according to the justice of God are what make the son of God shine and allow the name of God to be glorified. Is that what we want, that the name of God be glorified, or that the word of the Lord be reviled? Just actions increase the intensity of light in the saints. But these works, these, these works of justice must surpass those of men and those of religious people. So, our actions must surpass those of the people out there. Let's agree that it doesn't happen, truth, like the Apostle Paul arrived and suddenly said, how is it possible that you are not capable of resolving any matter? He was saying, it's something trivial. You are not capable of resolving a dispute among yourselves. You are not capable of resolving it. Amen. We will leave it there. We will read this last quote: "light of revelation to the Gentiles and glory of your people." So, let the revelation come from, from the Lord, to be able to judge a matter. Look here, and I leave this for homework. Go and read the whole story. What happened? But Jonathan had not heard when his father put the people under oath. Therefore, he extended the tip of the staff that was in his hand, dipped it into a honeycomb, and brought it to his mouth, and his eyes shone. When? When he ate the honey. And what is honey? It is revelation. Not the revelation of another, because one says, wow, what a beautiful revelation, but the one that the word reveals within us. May his eyes shine. May there be word within us. If you are going to issue a judgment, you are going to hear something, may it shine in your eyes. That the one who is speaking, it is more the one who is, the judge must be looking at the eyes. Look at them. I look them in the eyes. Look. And when he doesn't look at me, I say, look at me in the face. Look me in the eyes. You did that? Yes, but it's that, look me in the eyes. Yes, but it's that I wanted to tell you, look me in the face. Even with children, it's a tip I give you. It took a while for my children to say, I already told you that when you don't look at her in the eyes, and the other one like this, you didn't look at her in the eyes, and I don't know why they had that idea, because in the eyes, it shows if you are speaking the truth or if you are speaking a lie. In your gestures, it shows. In your way of getting nervous, it shows. Brother, you want them to put you, brother, you are tithing, brother, it's your turn to take the basket, and you don't tithe, and the basket goes from one side to the other because you are being honest in some way, you are saying, oh God, my God, I don't give a dollar here, right? And it's not for that either. We have to understand. It's your turn on Tuesday. Okay, let's go. Stand up. Let's pray. Stand up. Daddy. Well, we thank you, Lord. Help us, Father, to be able to grow, beloved Lord, so that your light, Lord, may shine in us, my God, and that we may be, Lord, useful instruments in your hands, beloved Lord, so that there may be in us, Lord, that light, Lord, that expands, Lord, that dispels darkness, Lord, that dispels obscurity, Lord, that shines, Lord, on each of those, Lord, who often have to judge, Lord. We thank you, Lord, also for those who are at a distance. We bless them, my God, and we thank you, Lord, for those who attended your word. Thank you. In Jesus' name. Amen. See you at 10. [Music]
