Thank you, Father, for your word that liveth and abideth forever. We give you glory now before we see it while we stand on it because your word is settled in heaven. Hallelujah. Amen. Praise God.
Now, listen carefully and lean in with faith. Many of God's people are in a fight where the body is talking, symptoms talk, pain talks, a lab number talks, a mirror talks. But I came to tell you tonight, don't let the body talk louder than the Bible. The body gives a report, but the Bible is the final authority. Whose report will you believe? We believe the report of the Lord. Amen. Not what I think about it, not what you feel about it, but a fact of God's word. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but his word shall not pass. So we answer symptoms, not with self-pity, not with fear, but with scripture. Praise God.
Hear this governing line that will carry us through everything we say. The word is medicine. Proverbs said, "Attend to my words. They are life unto those that find them, and health medicine to all their flesh." But medicine does you no good sitting on the counter admired and unopened. Medicine must be taken according to directions at regular times in the full course until the power of it shows up in the body. Hallelujah. The word is the same way. We don't merely frame it, quote it once and hope. We take it. We take it by hearing and hearing by speaking and speaking by acting in line with it and by thanksgiving that seals it. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. Glory to God, and he'll give the increase to you.
Let's set our authority right now. Say it out loud. God's word is true. Say it again. God's word is true. My body must line up. I will not be moved by what I feel. I am moved by what I believe. I believe the word. My body is a temple of the Holy Ghost. By his stripes, I was healed. Therefore, I am healed. Hallelujah. Amen. Praise God.
When symptoms don't move, we don't move the Bible. We don't downgrade the promise to match the pain. We move our faith into action to match the promise. We turn up the dose. We take the word like medicine. We answer the body with the book. We keep our confession steady, our actions corresponding, our thanksgiving abounding, and God gives the increase. So set your face like flint right now. The Bible talks louder here. The Bible rules here. And as we move our faith, the mountain moves. Glory to God forever.
Now let me do my pastoral duty. Peter said, "I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. Yay, I think it meat as long as I am in this tabernacle to stir you up by putting you in remembrance." That's 2 Peter 1. Why remembrance? Because people leak. Faith leaks when we let the noise of the week get louder than the word we heard on Sunday. Hallelujah. So, I'm not here to tickle ears with novelty. I'm here to stir you, stir you, stir you by saying again what God has said forever. Amen.
Think about the cycle. Folks hear a promise once, "By his stripes ye were healed." They shout. They feel good. And before the echo dies, Monday's symptom screams. The body shouts, "Still here." The lab number shouts, "Not changed." And some think, "Well, I tried that." No, you tasted it. You heard it once. Seeds don't become harvest because you waved at the field. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. If you've heard it before, you're not in the planting phase. You're in the watering phase. Water it. Water it again. Water it until roots go down and the blade pops up. Praise God.
Persistence is not denial. We're not pretending symptoms don't exist. We're refusing them. Lordship. We take our stand on covenant truth, holding fast the profession of our faith without wavering. For he is faithful that promised. You stand on what he said until what you feel bows to what he spoke. That's not stubbornness in the flesh. That's steadfastness in the spirit. Hallelujah. The word is medicine. And medicine works by course and consistency. Take another dose. Take another hearing. Take another saying and watch faith rise above the symptom like the sun over the fog. Amen.
Say it out loud with me to stir yourself. I'm stirred up. Say it again. I'm stirred up. I am not quitting. I am not backing down. I am standing on the word. One more time with authority. I'm stirred up. I'm not quitting. I'm standing on the word. Glory to God.
And while we're stirred, let's remember why we can be so bold. This isn't wishful thinking. This is covenant reality. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. So we hear and hear until faith talks back to the body. We say and say until faith answers the night and shuts the door on fear. We water what was planted until God gives the increase. And he will. He always will. Hallelujah.
Now mark it down because this is where we're headed. If the word stirs us, the word also informs us. It tells us where oppression comes from and what has been done about it. Sickness is not a blessing. It's part of a curse. And Christ, oh, say his name. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. We'll put sickness back where it belongs. But first, let the remembrance settle in. Keep hearing, keep saying, keep watering until faith rises above the symptom and holds the line. Praise God forever. Amen.
Open your Bible and let it talk. Galatians 3:13 and 14. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. For it is written, cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree, that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ, that we might receive the promise of the spirit through faith. Say it out loud right now. Not in a whisper, but with authority. Christ hath redeemed me from the curse of the law. Say it again. Christ hath redeemed me. One more time. Put your name in there and make hell hear it. Hallelujah. Amen. Praise God.
What is the curse of the law? Deuteronomy 28 lays it out plain. The first 14 verses declare blessing. Blessed shalt thou be coming in, going out in body, in basket, in store. Then the curse section cataloges the thieves, consumption, fever, inflammation, the botch of Egypt, blasting and mildew, scab and itch. And then this capstone also every sickness and every plague which is not written in the book of this law. If it's listed there, or even if it's not listed by name, it's stamped under one heading, curse. Now hear the refrain again and let it drive out confusion. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law. Redemption means those things have no legal right to lord it over a child of God. They are illegal squatters and you don't negotiate with trespassers. You serve notice. Praise God forever.
Did you ever notice Acts 10:38 says how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good and healing all how many? All that were oppressed of the devil. For God was with him. Oppressed of whom? The devil. Not oppressed of God. Luke 13 called sickness bondage. Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound? Lo, these 18 years be loosed, whom Satan hath bound? Healing is loosing. Sickness is binding. God looses, the devil binds. That settles it for me. Hallelujah.
And who are you? Galatians 3:29 declares, "If ye be Christs, then are ye Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise." If ye be Christs, are you? Then you are Abraham's seed. Airship doesn't beg. Airship exercises rights. Say it. I am Abraham's seed. The blessing of Abraham rests on me in Christ. My spirit is redeemed, my mind renewed, and my body is not the devil's playground. It is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Amen.
So what do redeemed people do when symptoms don't budge? We don't downgrade the word. We enforce redemption. We answer with the book. We speak the promise until faith stands up straight in us. We act like the Bible is true and we give thanks before we see a change. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. Our part is planting and watering, hearing and hearing, saying and saying, stepping and thinking. God's part is the increase. Say it again. To seal it in your heart. Christ hath redeemed me from the curse. Therefore, I resist sickness as illegal oppression. In Jesus' name, I'm loosed. Hallelujah. Amen. Praise God.
Now, lean into the mechanism God ordained. Romans 10 verse 17. So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Did you notice it did not say faith comes by wishing or by worrying or by watching the clock to see if a symptom leaves. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing. Hearing and hearing and hearing, not heard, not past tense, present, continuous. Keep it coming until faith rises like a tide and floats every stuck thing off the shore. Hallelujah. Amen. Praise God.
Proverbs said, "My son, attend to my words. Incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes. Keep them in the midst of thine heart, for they are life unto those that find them, and health medicine to all their flesh." Medicine. The bottle on the shelf never healed anybody. The pharmacy label didn't do the work. It's the taking regular as directed that changes the body. The word is God's medicine to your flesh. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. Plant it by hearing it the first time. Water it by hearing it again and again. God will give the increase as surely as dawn follows night. Glory to God.
Here's a common mistake, and many have made it. They quote one verse once in the morning. "By his stripes I was healed." And then monitor the symptom all day like a security guard watching a door. Still there? Still there. They check the pain more than they check the promise. Friend, change your monitor. Set your heart to monitor the word. Keep it before your eyes and keep it in the midst of your heart. Put the thermometer down and pick the scripture up. Hallelujah.
Let's get practical. Choose a set of healing scriptures. Isaiah 53, Matthew 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24, Psalm 103, Proverbs 4. Write them out by hand. There's something about the hand moving that helps the heart receive. Put them on cards. Tape one to the bathroom mirror, one on the refrigerator, one on the dashboard. Morning, before your feet hit the floor, read them aloud. Faith comes by hearing. So your ears need to hear your mouth. Midday, take another dose, 10 minutes in your lunch break. Read them again slowly out loud. Nighttime, before you check the news or the phone, give your heart a final dose read and read until your heart is quieter than your body. If you drive, play them on a loop and let the car fill with the word. Set alarms that say medicine time, word, dose. Attend, incline, keep. That's the schedule. That's the treatment. I planted, Apollos watered, but God giveth the increase. Amen.
As you do this, your heart fills. The reservoir rises. The seed swells in the soil. And what's next? Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh. Hearing loads the heart. Confession releases the power. We'll flip the switch of faith with our words. We'll command mountains to move. And we'll act like the Bible is true. But it starts here. Hearing and hearing, the steady dosing of God's medicine until faith stands up strong and talks back to the night. Hallelujah. Praise God forever.
Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh. We've been loading the heart. Now we flip the switch. Mark 11:23 and 24 is not theory. It is the operation of faith. Jesus said, "For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass. He shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Say, believe, receive, have. Confession is not positive thinking. Confession is agreement with God. We are not making something up. We are saying what he already said. Hallelujah. Amen. Praise God.
There are two voices in the room. The body says, "I hurt. I'm weak. I'm still the same." But faith answers not with denial, but with dominion. "Himself bear our sins in his own body on the tree. By whose stripes ye were healed," past tense, accomplished. Therefore, I am redeemed, and my body must line up. 1 Peter 2:24 is not a feeling, it's a fact. The body talks, but the Bible talks louder here. You must answer the body with the word. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. So, open your mouth. Hallelujah.
Let me give you a simple confession ladder. Four rungs you can climb any hour of the day. Number one, declare redemption. Say it out loud. Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. Say it again. Christ has redeemed me spirit, soul, and body. Number two, declare God's promise. Say, "By his stripes, I was healed. Therefore, I am the healed now. The word is working mightily in me." Number three, command the condition. Speak to it as a trespasser. Say, "In Jesus' name, pain go. Inflammation dry up. Nerves be loosed. Blood be clean. Body line up with the word of God. Mountain be removed and be cast into the sea." Number four, thank God for the answer. Say, "Father, I thank you. I believe I receive when I pray. I praise you that it is done unto me according to your word." Hallelujah. Amen.
Let's do it together. Switch faith from silent to spoken. Say it out loud. Christ has redeemed me. I am the healed of the Lord. I refuse the curse. I believe I receive. Again with strength. Christ has redeemed me. I am the healed. I refuse the curse. I believe I receive. One more time. Settle it in your spirit. Christ has redeemed me. I am the healed. I refuse the curse. I believe I receive now. Glory to God.
Did you notice Jesus put the having after the believing? "When ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Believing and saying come first. The having follows. That's why we don't wait to talk victory. We talk victory to bring the having into view. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. Your confession waters the seed until increase shows. Keep the switch on morning, noon, and night. And don't substitute checking the symptom for saying the scripture. Hallelujah.
Now, hear me well. Confession is powerful, but confession is not complete until it moves your feet. Faith that speaks must also step. The same Lord who said, "Say to the mountain," also said, "Stretch forth thine hand." As we keep our confession steady, we will take corresponding action that agrees with the word. We'll talk like it's done and we'll act like it's done because in Christ it is. Praise God forever.
Now we step. Corresponding action is simply this. If you believe you have received, you act like it is so within wisdom and peace, not presumption. Faith is not a theory. Faith moves. The same Jesus who said, "Whosoever shall say unto this mountain," also said, "Stretch forth thine hand." That man could have argued, "I'll stretch when I feel it," but the power met him in the stretch. Say it out loud. Faith moves me. Again, faith moves me. Hallelujah. Amen. Praise God.
What does that look like on a Tuesday morning? If you've been laid up, start where you are. Sit up and say, "In Jesus' name, I believe. I receive." Put your feet on the floor, one then the other, and thank God. Stand even if it's for a moment, and bless the Lord. Get dressed. Dress for the day you believe, not the day you fear. If lifting the arm has been a problem, lift it an inch while saying, "By his stripes I was healed," then two inches, then higher. If eating has been hindered, take a bite that agrees with wisdom and peace and say, "The word is working mightily in me." If you've stayed home from church because of symptoms, turn the tide. Go to the house of the Lord. Sit if you must, but show up as a doer. Every step is a statement. I believe I have received. Hallelujah.
But what if I don't feel it? Somebody said, "Well, we are not walking by feeling. We walk by faith." Feelings are wonderful cababoosees, but they are terrible engines. Faith is the engine. Feelings follow the train. Thomas said, "Except I see, I will not believe." Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God, calling those things which be not as though they were. You believe, you receive when you pray, you have as you go. Amen.
Here is the rhythm that keeps you steady. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. You plant by hearing, you water by saying, you demonstrate by acting. God gives the increase, often progressive. The Bible said of the nobleman's son, "he began to amend from that hour." Began. That's increase in motion. The blade, then the ear. After that, the full corn in the ear. Don't despise beginnings. Water them. Each small action agrees with heaven and invites more life. Praise God forever.
Now, hear the balance. Corresponding action is not bravado. It is obedience with inward peace. Let the inward witness lead you step by step. Keep your confession steady as you move. Amen. And once you've acted on the word, don't undo the doing with fear talk and symptom watching. Your action is a seed in the ground. Protect it. We'll deal with guarding the seed, refusing fear company, and shutting the gate on doubt. But mark it down right here. Faith that believes it has received will take a step that agrees with the word. And as you step, God gives the increase. Say it out loud. I act on the word and God gives the increase. Again, I act on the word and God gives the increase. Hallelujah. Amen.
Now, guard the seed. The fastest way to uproot what you just planted is to stare at the dirt and dig around with anxious fingers. Constant symptom checking is a form of confession. Your attention is your agreement. Abraham being not weak in faith, "considered not his own body now dead, considered not." To consider is to give continual regard. If you keep considering the pain, you keep confessing the pain. "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen." Shift your gaze. Set your mind. Hallelujah. Amen. Praise God.
Deliverance hygiene matters. Jesus said, "When an unclean spirit goes out, it comes back to find the house empty, swept, and garnished, then brings more with it if it's empty." Don't leave your inner house empty. Remove what feeds fear, yes, but then fill, fill, fill with the word. Put scriptures where your eyes land first. Keep worship in the atmosphere. Pray much in the Holy Ghost. Replace doom scroll with verse roll. If you clear out the fear books and keep the TV dark, but never stock the shelves of your heart with God's medicine, you've left room for worry to move back in with seven cousins. Fill the house. Hallelujah.
Set practical boundaries. Take heed what you hear. Limit gloomy reports to what is necessary for wise stewardship. Then wrap them in the promise. Stop rehearsing the diagnosis like a mantra. Facts may be facts, but truth is greater. If you must state a fact to a caregiver, follow immediately with your faith. "Those are the numbers. But himself took my infirmities and bear my sicknesses. The word is working mightily in me." Refuse the endless, "How do you feel now?" loop. Trade it for, "What did God say?" loop. Praise God.
Choose your company. Evil communications corrupt good manners. Jesus put out the mourners in Gyrus's house before he raised the girl. You may need to lovingly put out the professional mourners in your life, those who prophesy decline. Find faith companions who will say, "Ought not this child of Abraham be loosed." Surround yourself with those who, like the Shunammite, declare, "It shall be well." When they call, let the first words be, "Christ has redeemed you." Hallelujah. Let's say it. Amen.
And shut the gate on fear talk. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Replace it with worship punctuations that drip faith. Hallelujah. Amen. Praise God. The word is working in me now. I planted, Apollos watered, but God giveth the increase. When the check rises to your lip, still there, answer it with, "Still redeemed." When the night whispers, "No change," answer back, "The Lord is my strength and my song. He is becoming my salvation." Glory to God. Say it out loud. I guard the seed. I refuse symptom watching. I shut the door on fear talk. I choose faith company. I fill my house with the word. Hallelujah.
Now that the seed is guarded and the gates are shut, we turn persistence into praise. Thanksgiving is faith stabilizer. It anchors you in the unseen until the scene bows. We'll go there next and we'll go there strong. Praise God forever.
Now we turn persistence into praise. Thanksgiving is the language of those who believe they receive when they pray. If you believed you received, you'd say, "Thank you." Jesus said, "When ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Believing first, having follows. So thanksgiving is not a reaction after the having shows up. Thanksgiving is a declaration that the believing is real right now. Philippians 4:6 says, "Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God." With thanksgiving, not after with. Hallelujah. Amen. Praise God.
Thanksgiving stabilizes you. Colossians 2:7 says, "We are rooted and built up in him, established in the faith as we have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving." Abounding, overflowing, keeps the heart soft, keeps the mind expectant, and shuts the door on complaint. Hebrews 13:15 calls it the sacrifice of praise, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name. A sacrifice means you do it when you don't feel like it. You do it because he is worthy and his word is sure. Psalm 136 gives us the refrain that never wears out. "Oh, give thanks unto the Lord for he is good. For his mercy endureth forever." Say it out loud right in the face of a stubborn symptom. Thank you, Lord, for the Lord is good and his mercy endureth forever. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. Thanksgiving keeps the water on. Hallelujah.
Let me lead you in a four-part thanksgiving that you can use morning, noon, and night. Number one, thank God for redemption. Say, "Thank you, Father, that Christ hath redeemed me from the curse of the law. I am redeemed spirit, soul, and body. For the Lord is good, and his mercy endureth forever." Number two, thank God for the promise. "Thank you for your word that by his stripes I was healed. Thank you that you forgive all my iniquities and heal all my diseases. Your word cannot fail. For the Lord is good and his mercy endureth forever." Number three, thank God the answer is working now. "Thank you that the word is working mightily in me. Thank you that life is entering every cell. Thank you that I began to amend from this hour, for the Lord is good and his mercy endureth forever." Number four, thank God for full manifestation. "Thank you for the full corn in the ear. Thank you that I shall not only begin but finish. I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. For the Lord is good and his mercy endureth forever." Hallelujah. Amen. Praise God.
Praise keeps you from slipping into the complaint lane. Complaint magnifies the feeling. Thanksgiving magnifies the Lord. Complaint hardens the heart. Thanksgiving keeps it tender and ready. At midnight, Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God before the earthquake, before the doors. And suddenly, there was a great earthquake. They didn't sing because they saw doors. They saw doors because they sang. Glory to God. I've watched this turn the tide when nothing else seemed to budge. Symptoms talked. We had heard. We had spoken. We had acted. And then we abounded with thanksgiving. Day by day the atmosphere changed. First peace rose like a river. Sleep returned. Strength flickered then grew. The report followed the praise. I planted. Apollos watered. God gave the increase. We'll reinforce this with testimony what persistent hearing, steady confession, corresponding action, and overflowing thanksgiving produced in real time. But right now, lift your voice and anchor your heart in the unseen. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. For the Lord is good and his mercy endureth forever. I believe, I receive, therefore, I give thanks. And as I thank, you give the increase. Hallelujah. Amen. Praise God forever.
Now, here's what I did when nothing seemed to move. I'm giving you dates and steps so you can see the pattern. In late February, a few years back, February 17th, a Monday symptom set in hard. A burning across the chest at night, a tightness that would wake me at 2:30 a.m., and a fatigue that hung on me all day. By the end of that first week, I had counted seven nights of broken sleep and two afternoons where I could not finish my notes without sitting down twice. The more I checked it, the louder it talked. Friday morning, February 21st, I stood at the bathroom sink and the Spirit checked me. Are you going to let your body talk louder than my book? I knew right then I had been complaining in a holy tone. That was my turning point. Hallelujah.
I set a course Saturday, February 22nd at 6:00 a.m. I wrote five scriptures on cards. Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24, Psalm 103:3, Proverbs 4:20-22. I made a schedule like medicine. 8:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 9:30 p.m. Morning I read them aloud slowly until my own ears heard my own mouth. Midday I shut the door 10 minutes and took another dose, hearing and hearing. Night before bed I read, then I said, then I thanked. Mark 11:24 framed it. "When ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." So I stopped asking and started thinking like it was done. I answered the night, "Body, line up with the word. Inflammation go, chest be clear. By his stripes I was healed, therefore I am the healed now." Then I lifted my hands on purpose and said, "Thank you, Father. Done according to your word. Hallelujah. Amen. Praise God."
What happened? Day one, no fireworks, but I slept 4 hours straight for the first time that week. Day three, the burning hit. I answered it with the word and thanksgiving, and it backed off quicker. Day five, I noticed strength at noon where the slump had been. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. Increase how? Progressive. The blade, then the ear. After that, the full corn in the ear. By day 10, I slept through the night. By day 14, I climbed the church steps without grabbing the rail. By the third week, I realized I haven't thought about that tightness in days. No vision, no angel, just the steady course, hearing, saying, acting, thanking, and the God of increase doing what he always does. Glory to God.
Let me give you a second witness. A brother in our meeting, Mark, a forty-two-year-old electrician from Amarillo, had a nerve pain down his right leg for eight months. He told me, "I've said 'it's still there' more than I've said the word." He made the same switch. For two weeks, he took the word like medicine. Three times a day, every time the nerve fired, he fired back. "Christ hath redeemed me from the curse of the law. Nerve be loosed. I am the healed. Father, I thank you. It is done." He said on day 12, nothing seemed different and the temptation to quit was strong. Day 13, driving to a job at 6:40 a.m., he realized the car seat wasn't aggravating anything. By lunch, he took the stairs without grabbing the rail. By that evening, the pain was gone. He laughed and said it left like it came suddenly, but it followed 12 days of watering. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. Hallelujah.
What's the takeaway? Testimony shows the track. When nothing seems to change, stop the complaint. Start the course. Hear the word morning, midday, and night. Say it out loud until your spirit talks back to the symptom. Take a corresponding step each day, even if it's an inch. Abound with thanksgiving like it is done now. Guard the seed. No fear talk. No symptom watching loops. Stay with faith company. Do this next. Start tonight. Set your doses. Set your confession. Set one action for tomorrow. And set your praise on repeat. Now, let's make it plain. If symptoms don't move, move your faith. A plan turns faith from a feeling into a practice. Here's a 7-day word is medicine protocol. No gaps. Morning word dose. Morning dose: scripture by mouth to ear, 10 to 15 minutes. Read aloud slowly from these: Galatians 3:13-14, Acts 10:38, 1 Peter 2:24, Mark 11:23-24, Psalm 103:1-3, Proverbs 4:20-22.
