If I had to listen to everybody else, I wouldn't be sitting here right now. I just got back from the hospital. $3 million. I honestly thought I was going to end up just staying in poverty the rest of my life.

Welcome to Shanghai! Y'all going to learn Chinese. Y'all going to learn Chinese when the pumps come out. Y'all going to speak Chinese. Y'all going to learn Chinese. Y'all going to be Chinese. Y'all going to learn Chinese when I'm pump going.

This is where I'll be staying for our trip in China. Thank you so much for being here, and if you're not, please subscribe to the channel, like, comment, and hit that bell. Every time I come to Shanghai now, I stay in this room. It's one of my favorites. The view is absolutely nuts.

China is one of my favorite countries, and Shanghai specifically is one of my favorite cities. It is a very misunderstood place, but I think that everyone should come here to judge for themselves because it is a lot different from what you hear and see in the media. It is a very futuristic city.

Chinese people are very hardworking. They get the job done, no matter the energy they have to spare, no matter the cost it takes. People here are very efficient, and that's why I love China.

And this is the bar. We got it all here. We got the Grey Goose. We got the Brown GY. Never saw Brown GY before. Is that a thing? We got the city sign. Don't know what that is either. And here we got a full kitchen. Made some coffees.

And yeah, this bedroom—honestly, one of the most incredible views you can wake up to. It's mind-blowing. I'm in awe every time I see it. That's how special it is.

And this is a master bathroom. Craziest bathtub, craziest view. Sit in here, a few candles, maybe a nice book, nice podcast. Chill there for that skyline to kick in.

Yeah, we've got the big dining table here. So what's in there? This is another room. If you saw in my last video, the police got called several times. I didn't even know that that was a connecting room, so I booked that one too. And now, no more complaints.

So I actually come to Asia a lot because I have a lot of business in many other parts of the world. A lot of things that I do, which I'm not public with. And yeah, if you keep watching the channel in the future, you will see more of the other things that I have going on in my life.

I'm not just purely an investor. I like to call myself an entrepreneur. I've created and sold many businesses over my life, and investing is not the only thing I do. I did not get to where I am today from investing. I had to build up my wealth, and then with that wealth, I then started investing.

But before that, I had to build businesses to make millions of dollars, and then that's how we are where we are today. And it's crazy for me because I used to live in Asia. I've lived in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Tokyo, all when I was younger and all when I didn't have a lot of money.

Now it's just crazy, you know, coming back to these places when a lot of things have changed in my life. It's mind-blowing. I come from zero. I come from the bottom of the bottom in my country—government benefits, single-parent household.

But I do look back at myself when I was a young kid. I remember laying in my bed late at night, just staring at the ceiling and picturing and dreaming this life. A lot of people talk about manifestation, and manifestation is for sure real.

But manifestation doesn't just come on its own. You have to go out and actually make something happen. Don't purely believe in manifestation as your end-all solution. You have to actually work hard and go and create something. But if you combine the two, then you could be unstoppable.

Anyway, every video I'm going to try to educate and inspire. I'm not trying to flex; I'm trying to inspire the next generation to come and to do this. I'm not selling you a course. I'm not selling you a membership. I'm not selling you anything.

All these videos that you see, I don't want anything. I just want you to watch. So make sure you hit that subscribe, like, bell, favorite, bookmark, share it to your family, watch later, download it for later. Whatever you can do, it would mean the world to me.

First things first, it's time to put some mileage in the bank, get our mind clear, blood flowing. How many K today? Let's try to go for eight. 8 km, no pressure. Do it.

Hey Siri, play something weird. I'm picking up.

She Red Bull. The nostalgia. I remember back in the days, I was 12, 13 years old. Before school, I used to always get a Red Bull. I used to cut school with my Red Bull in my hand. Sometimes the guy in the gas station would give it to me for free 'cause I had no money.

I used to drink that, get energy, contemplate where I would be, what I could do with my life. 'Cause I remember going to school, I felt like this is not for me. I could not stay in school. Failed every subject.

I don't know, for some reason, Red Bull brings me back to that lost, confused little boy who didn't know what he was going to be in his life, didn't know where he'd go. I honestly thought I was going to end up staying the same, just stay in poverty the rest of my life.

But look at where we are today. Just shows you, drink Red Bull, and you too can achieve this. When I was younger, in my early teens, I knew I had abilities. I felt inside that I knew that I had something. I knew that I wanted it more than others.

I felt that people didn't care about it as much as me. Like, I really wanted to change my life. But the issue was nobody else could see my potential. Nobody else believed in me. Nobody else cared about me.

I could speak it out loud and say, like, I know that I can do A, B, and C. But when I would say that out loud, most people would doubt. And that's normal. People are going to doubt you.

If you know inside that you have this ability, if you know inside that you have potential, but nobody else can see it, it doesn't matter because the only person that matters is you. Nobody once ever said, "Julian, I believe in you. Julian, I know you're going to make it. Julian, everything's going to be okay."

Not once. I had to look in the mirror with all the doubt, with all the times that I failed, and say, "You're going to do this. You're going to be okay. You're going to make it."

If I had to listen to everybody else, I wouldn't be sitting here right now. I wouldn't be where I am today. So if you know that you have abilities and you know that you have talent and you know that you have what it takes, you can feel that.

I know a lot of you can feel that. You might be listening to this right now and going, "Yes, I know I have what it takes. I know I have these abilities." Don't listen to anybody else. Listen to yourself.

You're the only person that matters. Nobody else matters. Only you. So, what are you waiting for?

I in everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody.

Coinbase. I spoke with the company last night, and I asked him about the magnitude of this moment. Well, I just got back from the hospital. I've just been feeling cooked. It sort of escalated today. I've had like a virus for so long, and I just noticed it's Coinbase earnings in one hour.

Now I'm just looking, and I might buy like $2 million. I don't want to put a lot because it's way too late. It's 2:50 a.m. This lifestyle of investing doesn't sleep. This YouTube stuff looks easy, but the pressure and stress that goes on in here, in my life, all the things I do in my life, the businesses I run, all the stock stuff, investing stuff I have, then you throw in YouTube and everything else—not sleeping a lot, it all adds up.

A lot of it all takes a toll, and that's why I think I've been feeling not so good. How much should I do? You tell me. I'll do it. $2 million. Wait, what's the lucky number here? Isn't it four? Four is not the—four is the worst number.

This is an interesting fact: they removed the number four from even the elevators and different floors 'cause it means death. Maybe three? $3 million. This is a very highly volatile stock, and if it goes down right now with how I'm feeling, it'll probably make me feel sick, to be honest.

And I already feel sick, so I might have to go back to the hospital, to be honest. Even if it goes up, the adrenaline of it going up right now, this time, no sleep, coming back from the hospital, I'll probably have to go back to the hospital for that too.

'Cause usually, I'm very good with my emotions. I control them extremely well. But of course, in very high-pressure situations where you are at breaking point, almost anyone's going to break. It doesn't matter if it's me, you, the Dalai Lama, Jesus Christ—everyone's got a breaking point.

And right now, I'm at my breaking point. So maybe I just keep it at two. It's already up 8.8% today. Everyone thinks it's going up; that's why they've bought.

Would you like two lemon green and a yellow? Yes, lemon yellow. Good. Yellow, yellow. Okay, Johnny knows me better than I know myself.

Thanks, Johnny. Thank you. Yeah, so I bought $1 million, and then I bought another $700k. Now I'm going to buy another $300 or $400 and take it to roughly $2 million.

So right now, I'm down $6,000, $5,000. So I bought $2 million in Coinbase. Really not a good time to be investing when I'm in my current state, feeling like shit.

You definitely need to take breaks. When you are burnt out and wore out, that's when you make stupid decisions. And I always make my worst decisions when I'm under pressure and I have a lot of other things going on in my life because I don't think clearly, and I can act a little bit more impulsively.

I just think that out of any company that's reporting this quarter, Coinbase has the highest chance to beat their earnings. They have to. Like, crypto has rallied nuts, and who are the reward reapers of that?

I'm going to go upstairs and have a shower. The earnings are in 40-something minutes. Even if it goes up, don't worry about coming.

So yeah, last time I saw you guys, I was in my cameraman's room, but I didn't actually see him for a while because I got very, very sick right before I was making that purchase on Coinbase.

Anyway, as I went back up to my room, I ended up buying a little bit more of Coinbase. So in total, I had $3 million, I think, when I left, and I saw you lost had $2 million.

And then I fell asleep 'cause I was feeling so shit. When I woke up, I saw that Coinbase beat their earnings and went down. Now, this is pretty common in the stock market.

It seems like Coinbase beating their earnings was already factored in, and so when they did beat their earnings, nobody was surprised, and then it went down a little bit.

But what I noticed was that Bitcoin and crypto actually rallied over the same day. And so when I saw that, I was like, I can either cut my losses 'cause I was down only a little bit on like $3 million. I think I was down no more than like $50k, which was pretty decent.

But I knew the Bitcoin rallied, and so I was like, you know what? I'm just going to wait till Monday, which is today, and maybe exit the position then.

It's Monday now. The market has opened an hour ago. I'm looking at the position. As you can see here, it's currently up $137,000 today. You can see I bought $3.04 million. It's currently worth $3.12 million.

This is definitely not going to be a long hold for me, so I'm probably going to get out. Before you see this video, it could be today, it could be tomorrow. I'm not really sure.

All I knew was that it was going to be a short-term trade for me because I don't see the point in owning Coinbase when Coinbase, as a stock and as a company, is completely pegged to Bitcoin.

Coinbase relies on what Bitcoin does. If Bitcoin goes down, then Coinbase goes down. It's not like they're sitting there building all these products and people are waiting and anticipating the products. They're driving sales to the products. They're pioneering technology. They're doing none of that.

If Bitcoin goes down, Coinbase goes down. And that's why it's better to just own crypto if you're going to be invested in Coinbase. But it seemed like they were going to smash their earnings, which they did. It was already factored in; it was already priced in.

And so Coinbase is only up a little bit now, a couple percent. So I'm probably going to exit this position. I don't really want to be holding it for too long.
