Good morning, guys! I, uh, hi! Welcome back to my channel. Um, it's been a while. I'm going to be vlogging today, which I have not done in a very long time, and I'm quite nervous, not going to lie. But I'm also really excited because I miss vlogging.
So, I'm going to be taking you on a day with me. I guess I'll just preface it for anyone that doesn't know that's watching. I separated from my ex-husband last year, almost a year ago, I think at this time. I have—sorry, this is so uncomfortable to talk on camera about—so I will be smiling. It does break my heart, and on the inside, I'm crying. Am I crying right now? Keep it together, girl. The video just started.
I spend—oh my gosh—I have 50/50 custody with my ex, and it tears me apart. It tears me apart that I only have my kids for half of their life, but that is the life that we're currently living. So, I'm doing my best to cope. At first, it was awful, and I hated it. I'm getting better at it, but then I do have just—I just try to distract myself, honestly.
For a while, on my time off, I would fly to Los Angeles, which is where I'm from, and I would see all my friends, and that helped so much. But I mostly only did that because I was, um, housing my old partner, and so it was best for me to just kind of leave. But that is no longer happening, so I don't leave to California as much as I used to.
But I do have a place in LA. I—I’m really—I'm really King you guys inow. No, I do rent a room in LA, and that will always be there if I do ever need to leave. Just like a safe place for me to go. I can show you guys my room next time I go. I'm still setting it all up, but I'll take you with me next time when I don't have my kiddos.
Honestly, I just try to fill the time as much as I possibly can because if I start to, like, sit for too long and think about it too long, it truly just—like I'm doing it now. I'm doing it now, and I'm going to cry, and I don't want to. I just have to spend my time doing as much as I can.
Honestly, it's a great time for me to really catch up on things that are difficult to do alone with three kiddos, like running errands. I just took Lucy to the vet, and so that's kind of helpful in that aspect. I just tried to fill the void, honestly, which may just sound awful, but, um, life without my kiddos is quite awful, so you'd be right.
I'm also just trying to, like—because I do have this time, I'm trying to explore myself, figure out things about myself, 'cause I am young, and that time is important too. I'm going to take you along with me today running errands and kind of showing you what I do on my days off.
First up is [Music] eating! I just picked up my food. I got a bang. Oh, they look like this. They're literally—this is probably my favorite food in the entire world. This is what it looks like. Um, I get it with bacon and a hot dog, and I get extra wons, spice level three.
I'm going to get a lot of questions about, um, why I'm eating meat again, and my diet's not really something that I want to discuss on the internet currently. At the current state that I'm in, to kind of, like, short it for you, at this point in my life, I can't really do restrictive diets. Eating is something—and food and meals—that's all something that I'm currently working on.
So, in the meantime, I eat meat again, but let's get into this. I'm so excited right now! Oh my gosh, hold on, I have to send a picture to my friend. Okay, let's do this. If you go to Bing King in Eugene, you won't regret it, but tell Jackson, the owner, that I say [Music] [Music].
Hello! Okay, I'm putting my seatbelt on. Weird sight quest! I'm going to be picking up a Guitar Hero. This is what it looks like, and it comes with this maroon guitar, which I am obsessed with. I also needed a PlayStation 2 to run this Guitar Hero. I found one for 60 bucks, so we're picking both of those up. Let's go!
But I did it! Bag secured! Guitar Hero 2! Also, there was a miscommunication. I thought it was the game and the guitar; it was just the guitar, which is fine. Um, I still picked it up, but I do need to run to this secondhand video game store, which I'm not too far from, so I'm going to do that. I just called; they have a couple in stock for like 10 bucks, so no biggie.
There she is! She's so cute and red, and I love her! [Music] Secured! I'm so [Music] excited! Now I'm going to work a little bit. There's a bunch of traffic right now, but I just started working. I have a bunch of friends that work for, like, all the food delivery apps—like literally all of them.
Recently—not super recently—but, like, I rode with one of my best friends while they were doing deliveries just to, like, keep them company, and I, like, DJed, and I helped a little bit. But, um, I realized that I actually kind of quite liked it because it's very, like, repetitive, like, task.
Anyway, I thought I'd give it a go a little while ago just to distract myself, honestly, and, like, just have a way to, like, fill time while I am by myself, um, and also be productive and also make money. But I also have such a crazy schedule, and I can't work like a regular job, so this has also been really helpful in that kind of aspect.
I do really want to work at a local coffee shop once all of my kiddos are in school, but yeah, it helps me just stay distracted and, like, kind of go mindless for, like, a little bit, which is kind of nice. And I just listen to music in my car, and I drive around, and I drop off people's food, and then I have extra money for, like, flights to LA on my other time off or Guitar Hero or just all the coffee that I buy.
But it's been nice, and if my best friend's watching this, love you! So, I'm going to work for a few hours before I need to stop at the thrift store this evening. Um, and I need—I think that's the only thing I need. Oh, I need to go to Target, but I can do both of those after I'm done working.
There's so much traffic! Everybody is going so slow. I'm barely moving. I need to cut the cameras, but I don't want to do it when I'm driving. Uh, uh, so it's still recording. Uh, uh, I also need to switch my CDs out. [Music] Go!
Oh, got to go! Use the left two lanes to turn left onto Valley River Way. You got it, girl! Your destination is on the right. Oh my gosh, thank you! Working and vlogging at the same time has proven already to not be super easy to do 'cause either I have to, like, film while I'm driving, which is not safe, or, like, film the order, and I feel like—I don't know why, but it feels like disrespectful to the person.
Like, I don't want to film their food. That's probably just, like, silly of me. But anyway, it's a green light! That's what I mean! This is what I mean, guys. You're just going to get a lovely shot of my chin. It's probably just going to cut to nighttime, and it's going to be dark because I'm just going to work for a few hours and not vlog.
Because I just—I mean, I'll try my best, but it's really just not working here, and I don't want to be rude. So, if I see any pretty trees, I'll film them for you. [Music] That was exor! I love that! The guy that lives across the street from this big leaf pile laughed at me, but you do what you got to do, kitty cat! You do what you got to do to step in some leaves. Hi, pretty kitty! [Music]
Okay, everybody! I just finished working, and I finished working really close to the thrift store I needed to go to, so that worked out swimmingly! On my way to Goodwill, I'm having my friends over for an Altoid tin decorating get-together. I saw, like, all over Pinterest these really cute Altoid wallets.
It's just, like, empty Altoids tins, and then you just, like, cover them with, like, paper, stamps, ribbons, uh, stickers, whatever you want on the inside, and then you just, like, keep ChapStick, um, headphones, AirPods, like, whatever you want to keep in your little tin. So, I'm going to go pick up stuff for everybody, um, like scrap fabric and stickers and whatnot, whatever I could find in, like, the craft section of Goodwill.
Just—I feel like that will be, like, super random. So random! No, but I'm just—I'm hoping that I'll find something that's a little more interesting than what I will find at, like, Joann's or [Music] Michael's. We got some goods! It's freezing out here! [Music]
I just got home. I've gotten to that point in my day where I just really miss my house and my living room, my bed. I made a pit stop in the middle of the day to drop something off and take Lucy out to the bathroom again, but I've missed my home. I grabbed a Mickey's Coke on my way home as a little treat, and I'm so, so, so excited to crack open my PS2 and see it on my TV.
Let's head inside! I'm excited! I'm so excited! Look at that girl! Look at that girl! Is she being a good girl? [Music]
I immediately put on comfortable pants and some slippers. I've just been kind of straightening up, putting things away—nothing crazy. I'd like to get the house a little bit cleaner before I bring in the Guitar Hero and set that all up, so that's what I'm going to be doing now.
Okay, I just finished cleaning my downstairs, and I'm ready to bring Guitar Hero in! But I picked up a half-price VCR SL DVD player from Goodwill tonight for literally, like, $15 because my TV broke, and I can watch VHS tapes and DVDs again, and it makes me so happy! So, that's what I'm currently doing. I need to lay down for a second before I go outside and grab the PlayStation, but this is my current view. I got a new hope in there. [Music]
Okay, oh my gosh! This is so C! Oh my gosh! Grand Theft Auto is the game that's left inside the PlayStation, so we're going to take that out real quick. [Music] [Applause] [Music]
Are you [Applause]? Guys, we're going easy! We're going to go easy to start 'cause I haven't played in so long, and I remember only playing easy back then too. Oh my goodness, gosh, guys! [Applause] [Music]
I feel like I can do medium 'cause I feel like easy is so easy, but maybe I'm totally wrong. Let's try again on medium! On medium this time, we're trying again! Wish me luck! Does medium have blue? I don't remember. I'm nervous! Okay, here we go!
We [Music] [Music] go! I cannot do medium yet! I need to work my way up! I thought [Music] [Laughter]. No, I just need to get better at this 'cause I suck! You rock! I rock! We rock!
I'm one of those people, including when I play Mario Kart, that for some reason I think that pushing the buttons harder is going to make it better for me, but in reality, it just makes my fingers hurt, and they cramp up because I'm just like—there's no reason I need to be holding down the green button like it's gonna fall off or something. 'Cause now my fingers hurt, and I've only played, like, three songs.
Anyway, I've learned that I just absolutely suck. I suck at Guitar Hero. That's okay, though, because now I have Guitar Hero, and I will be practicing. And so when everyone comes over, I can just smoke anybody! Like, oh, you want to whip out Guitar Hero? I'll kick your ass! You know what I mean?
But I'm going to keep playing this, um, try to unlock some songs down. Hey, y'all! What the—I'm currently—hold on! I'm deleting all this stuff off this memory card that came with the PlayStation I got today, um, and I have to go one by one through all of them because I'm trying to start my career mode on Guitar Hero, and it won't let me because there's not enough space on the memory card.
So, I had to watch a YouTube video on how to delete this. This was the YouTube video I watched. Is ready? You turn the PlayStation 2 on, hit this blue button, pops out. When nothing in this world belongs to me but love my—my—hey, is this the first time that I'm—can you talk about weed on YouTube? Yeah, right there has to be, like, weed channels. People can talk about weed, I think.
Also, and another thing, I have been really—I’ve been really resonating with this song. This song—hold on, let me play it. Let me play it for you. Also, YouTube, don't copyright me for this, please! I'm just a [Applause] [Music].
Girl, we have to shake our asses! [Applause] [Music]. One of my best friends that plays League, I just spoke to her on the phone, and we decided to play a game together. So, I'm just getting online, and I'm going to play maybe—I don't know how many games I'll play tonight 'cause it's getting pretty late.
I ordered my food; it's going to be here soon. I'm just going to play one game, I think, eat my food, FaceTime my best friend, and then hit the hay, you know what I mean? Sure you do! [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music].
I just want to say thank you, everyone, for watching this video. The past year—honestly, the past few years of my life have been so incredibly crazy and a roller coaster. Just—I feel like that's the best way to describe it. It's just been a roller coaster.
2023 has easily been the best year of my life and the worst year of my life. So, I'm going through a lot of changes. I'm alone a lot more than I used to be. I'm learning a lot of things, and I'm really just trying to figure it all out right now.
And I feel like every day I'm getting closer to being myself and closer to, you know, what feels most comfortable to me. Thank you to anyone that’s been there the whole time, and, uh, I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart. Thanks for watching! Thanks for sticking around!
Um, I hope that you've all been staying really rad, weird, and beautiful. But yeah, thanks for [Music] watching! Bye, guys! Till next time!
