How are you? In the darkness, we were waiting without hope, without light. Till from heaven, you came running. There was mercy in your eyes. To fulfill the law and prophets, to a virgin came the world. From a throne of endless glory, to a cradle in the dirt. Praise the Father. Praise the Son. Praise the Spirit. Three in one. God of glory, majesty. Oh, praise forever to the King of Kings. To reveal the kingdom come and to reconcile the lost, to redeem the whole creation. You did not despise the cross. For even your son, you saw to the other side, knowing this was our salvation. Jesus, for our sin, you die. Praise the Father. Praise the Son. Praise the Spirit in one. God of glory, majesty. Oh, praise forever to the King of the Morning. That you rose, all of heaven held its breath. Till that stone was moved for good. For the Lamb conquered death. And the dead rose from their tombs. And the angels stood in for the souls of all who come to the Father are restored. And the church of Christ was born. And in the gospel, to the Lord shall not hear the sound of by his blood is his name. It is real, and I am free for the love of Jesus Christ, who resurrected me. Oh, praise the Father. Praise the Son. Oh, praise the spot of glory. Oh, praise forever to the King. Praise him by God. Oh, praise forever to the King of Kings. Oh, praise forever to the King of Kings. Church, can we sing it again? Sing praise. Oh, praise the Father. Praise the Son. Oh, praise the three in one. God of glory, majesty. Oh, praise forever to the King of Kings. Amen.
Um, you know, Resurrection Sunday rolls around each year. Um, and it's a lot of fun. Like, we, we get to put together these really just fun, big songs celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. And, um, I always love it. Always look forward to it, having the choir and everything. Um, but a very unexpected song, um, out of all the songs we played, kind of hit me. Um, and it was the altar call song. And I'm singing this song each service and thinking, you know, it's unfortunate that we wait for a call to salvation to sing this song because, um, it applies to the Christian. It applies to every Christian life. Um, because we are supposed to live lives of daily surrender. The Father calls us. The song says, um, uh, it says, "His kindness is calling me to repentance again." And I think, you know, Jesus is constantly calling us into His presence, but each and every day, we kind of turn to our own way. You know, we kind of turn to, you know, whatever's, um, happening in our lives, whatever situation, whatever we're running after. I mean, that, a lot of things can be put in that blank. I don't want to limit it. And He's just constantly calling us back.
And I think it's a, it's a great practice, um, for us to remember surrender, to remember that's something that needs to be a part of our lives, that we're called to take up our cross and follow Jesus. Um, that we're called to lay our lives at the altar so that it's no longer that we who live. This is the, the joy of salvation. It's no longer that we who live, but it's Christ who lives in us. That's how I want to live every day, you know. So, we're going to take this time, um, in a normal Wednesday night service, um, and kind of do a, a surrender, an altar call in a sense. And, um, I'll remind you, you know, this, this room is, is yours when we're in worship. You know, I mean, you can kneel, you can raise your hands, you can sit in silence, you can find a more empty part of the room to move around a bit. You can come, you know, kneel before the, the like, wherever there's an open space like that. We welcome you to do that always. Um, but especially now.
Oh, I hear the voice of my Father. Your kindness is calling me to repentance again. I see the scars of my Savior, the ransom you paid for to save me and call me your friend. I know at the cross, you gave it all. Oh, I know at the cross, you paid it all. Here's my life. I lay it at the altar. You are worthy of it. You are worthy of it. No turning back, Jesus. Now I surrender my heart, my soul, my all. You can have my heart, my soul, my all. Oh, I know the past found it in salvation's beginning. This moment is only the start. I feel the power of your Spirit, your grace without limit as I draw near to your heart. I know at the cross, you gave it all. I know at the cross, you paid it all. Here's my life. I lay it at the altar. You are worthy of it. You are worthy of it. No turning back, Jesus. Now I surrender my heart, my soul, my all. Oh, you get out my heart, my soul, my all. Here's my life. I lay it at the altar. You are worthy of it. You are worthy of it. No turning back, Jesus. Now I surrender my heart, my soul, my all. You can have my heart, my soul, my love. I surren, I surren. I'll answer your call and I'll take up my cross now and always. Now and always. My Savior, my Lord, I'll forever adore. Now and always. Now and always. I'll take your call and I'll take up my cross. Now and always. Now and always. Is my Savior, my Lord. I'll forever now and no way. Now, here's my life. I lay it at the altar. You are worthy. My soul, my own. You can have my heart, my soul, my own. Oh, you can have my heart, my soul, my. You can have it all. Lord Jesus, take it all. For you are worthy of it all. You are worthy of it all. You're worthy of it all. You're worthy of it all. For from you are all things and to you are all things. You deserve the glory. Sing that again. He's worthy. He's worthy. You're worthy of it all. You're worthy. Worthy. You're worthy of it all. For from you are all things, and to you are all things. You deserve the glory. Church, sing that one more time. You're worthy. You're worthy, worthy, worthy. You're worthy of it all. You are. For from you are all things and to you are all things. You deserve the glory. Oh, you deserve the glory. Oh, you deserve all. Not just some of me. Not just part of me, but all of you. I'll answer your call. I'll take up my now and always. Now and always. My Savior, my Lord, I'll forever adore. Now and always. Now and always I'll answer your calling. I'll save my cross. Now and always. Now and always. I say I forever adore now and always. Now in your way. Here's my life. Here's my life. My lady. You are worthy of it. You are worthy of it. No turning back. Jesus. I my soul my heart my soul my is my life my you are worthy of it you are worthy of it turning on Jesus. My eyes are my soul, my own. For you have my heart, my soul, my love.
You know, church, before we continue on in worship, those are amazing words on the screen. And it's one thing to have them on the screen. It's completely different thing to have it on your heart. And those are big words. Altar and the call, worthy. I surrender. I'm going to ask you tonight, you know, A.W. Tozer wrote in one of his books on worship, he says, "Christians, when we come to Christ, we stop telling lies." He says, "We only sing them in church." Yeah, exactly. Cut you straight to the heart because he talks about the lofty songs that we sing, but do we mean it? And, um, with this song, maybe you're here tonight and you have assumed that you've made a commitment to Jesus. When this song says, "call," the call, the, what do you do when you get a call? You answer it. You would only ignore the call if you didn't want to talk to that person. What about God? Is He calling you right now? Maybe He's saying to you, you know, we've never really had an actual introduction, you and I. You have been familiar with me. You have known of me. But have you partaken of me? Have you tasted to see that the Lord is good? Have you ever been transformed? I'm not talking about church attendance. I'm not talking about how many verses you can quote or have memorized. Irrelevant. Unless you're born again. If you're born again, by the way, your, your life, you know that as unworthy as you are, as I am, you know that you're going to heaven. It's, uh, it's not a wishful thought. It's not like, I sure hope so. You know it. The Bible, in fact, commands it. The Bible says, "These things have been written that you might know that you have eternal life." So listen as we sing this song. If you don't know that for sure, but you, you claim to believe in Jesus, and maybe you do, but you're almost a Christian. You're almost a Christian because you've never acknowledged Him even publicly as He says to us to acknowledge Him. And maybe tonight's the night for you to seal the deal, so to speak, to to say, "Lord, I've, I've known of You, but now I come and I surrender my sins to You. I come. I relinquish my rights to You, God. Tonight's the night for maybe one person." So, as we sing this song again, maybe God will speak to your heart. If He, if He places a call to you, you're gonna, you're gonna hear, I don't know how to say it. You're gonna hear a feeling. You're gonna feel a call and He's gonna put a thought in your head, something like, "I, I need to do this. I, I need to, I need to go public with Jesus." Don't wonder anymore. Don't be shy about it. Don't be embarrassed about Him. Don't circle His name and never land upon Him. As we sing this song, if God's speaking to you, can you just get up and come forward? And we'll, I'll just at the end of this worship set or something, I'll just pray for those who have made this decision. But will you do that? There's no reason that if God is speaking to you, there's no reason for you to, to not pick up. Please.
I'll take up my cross now and always. Now and always. My Savior, my Lord, I'll forever adore now and always. Now and always I'll answer your call and I'll take up my cross. Now and always. Now and always. My Savior, my Lord, I forever adore now and always. Now and here's my. Here's my life by laying at the altar. You are worthy of it. You are worthy of it. No turning back. Jesus, now I surrender my heart, my soul, my all. You get out my heart, my soul, my all. Here's my life. I lay it at the altar. You are worthy of it. You are worthy of it. No turning back. Jesus, now I surrender my heart, my soul, my all. Lord, you can have my heart, my soul, my all. Lord, you can have my heart, my soul, my cuz you're worthy of it all. You're worthy of it all. For from you and to you are all things you deserve glory. Worthy. Worthy. You're worthy of it all. You're worthy of it all. For from you are all things and to you are all things. You deserve the glory. Here's my life. Here's my life.
You are worthy. My heart, my soul, my heart. You can have my heart, my soul, my heart. You know Jesus said that when He comes, when He returns for His bride, for the church, it will be sudden, no warning. Bible makes it clear that those who know Him will be waiting for Him. It's one of the big remarkable indicators of the life of the believer. So many times He said, "Watch for me. Be watching. Be looking. You don't know when. So be alert." And it's the heart of the believer to be ready. You think about that. I mean, that's how a real love relationship works anyway. You don't love somebody when they show up. You love them. If they're with you or not, you love them. And so I know that if the Lord were to come back, for many of us in this room, we would be absolutely delighted about that. There are people who want to argue about that, and I just let them argue. Honestly, it's like it's just noise. But to be with the one who loves you and has saved you. And I'm thinking right now, in this last week or so, one of our dear ushers, long time, he's been here close to 30 years, Bart Crawford, who would handle this aisle over here, he just came to service on Sunday, did his ushering on Sunday, and it was his last Sunday. And and now, now he's with Jesus. And I think of Jim Roberts, Tina and Jim Roberts, who had always sit just up front to my right. Jim just went home to be with Jesus. We know where they're at. We haven't lost them. We know exactly where they're at. And they're and they're living life now better than they ever have in this world because they're with You. And I know these men and their desire was to see You and to be with You. And for them, it came by the door of death. Into His presence they entered. But tonight, maybe God is speaking to some of you who are, you're Christians, but you haven't been walking hot with God. Your heart, like Peter said, you, you don't have fervent love for Him. Your heart has grown cold. We, we all know what that's like, and we have to fight hard to keep that from happening. But when it does happen, we crawl out of it. We run from that. We realize, I've been too busy. I haven't been reading my Bible. I haven't been talking with Jesus. I've, I've just learned how to do this on my own strength. And the Lord is saying to you tonight, I don't want any of your strength. When was the last time you sat down with me and spoke with me and I, and I with you? When was the last time you paused to be with me? You're backslidden. You've left your first love. You didn't mean it. And just now you're being reminded of that. You might say, "Well, I remember being hot for Jesus six months ago, six years ago, last year." If you can remember when you were more excited about Jesus, that means your love has grown cold. You haven't lost your salvation. You're still His child. But He's coming back. And when He comes back, we want to be right with Him. But you don't know, friend. Yes, your soul. You trusted in Jesus. He died on the cross, rose again from the grave for you. He died for you. He saved you. But you know that you used to be more enthusiastic about Him because you loved Him more. This will be our last song tonight because we have a Bible study to do. But if, if God is speaking to some of you tonight and that's you, why don't you join these that are up here right now and we'll pray in a moment. But I need you to hurry because we're going to run out of time. And, uh, either you know, get into the water or stay on the shore. But, um, if I were you, if God is speaking to your heart, if you can remember you were when you were hotter for Jesus than you are tonight, it's time to fix that. It's time to fix that right now. So you come and join these that are up here.
Oh, let all that is within me, bless His holy name. For His love endures forever and His mercies. Today we will enter with thanksgiving and fill this courts with praise. Come, our church, lift your voice and sing. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord forever. Bless His name. Let it all within me sing. Praise the Lord forever. If your life's been resurrected by the war that Jesus won. If you wait in expectation for a kingdom yet to come, all ye citizens of heaven, sons and daughters of the King, are come on church. Lift your voice and say, "Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord forever. Bless His name. Let it all within me sing. Praise the Lord forever." For the one who's broken-hearted and it's hard to sing this song 'cause you've been walking through the valley and your faith is feeling small. I bring peace and love surround you from the God who understands as your family all around you. Lift your arms up when you can't. Join the fire of creation with the song of the redeemed of the heart. Lift your voice and sing. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Let it all be sing. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. His name. Let it all be saved. Praise the Lord forever. Praise the Lord forever. Praise the Lord forever.
Father, we come to You tonight and Lord, I just ask of You, Holy Spirit, that You would be so thick in this, in this atmosphere, Lord, in this, not just this room. Lord God, we need You to descend upon our families, our maybe our moms, our dads, our brothers or our sisters, our husbands or our wives, wherever they may be. Our children, our grandchildren, God, wherever they may be, that Your Holy Spirit would fall, God, upon this nation. Lord, we are so, so distracted and we have so many idols in our life that controlled and seize our time. We pray, Lord God, that tonight across the United States, Lord God, that You would do something that is bigger than money. It's bigger than power. It's bigger than liberty. It's bigger than freedom. It's bigger than anything. And Lord, that would be the salvation that comes in and through Jesus alone. And Lord, that You'd send a great awakening to all of us as believers. God, that churches that have shuttered their doors or have departed from You, Lord, that You would pour out Your Spirit and You would take Your churches back in America. Lord, there in so many parts of our nation, there's churches basically almost on every corner. I think of the South. I think of the East Coast and churches everywhere. But on Sunday morning, there's like six cars in the parking lot. It's dead. God, we pray that You would begin to seize Your people and awaken them and call them up out of the grave. And Lord, that we would see a great move of Your Holy Spirit. And Father, what You've done here in such a a beautiful but small scale, You would do equally as beautiful on a massive scale. That Lord, we would see the gang members in Detroit and South Central and Portland come to Jesus. God, that we would see our politicians fall on their knees in humility, humbled to cry out to the Almighty God. Lord, that You would do a work, Father, that would so affect our culture that the nations of the world would have to sit up and say, "What in the world is going on? What is happening there?" And Lord, I know that there's nothing that has to happen before You come back for Your people. But it would be awesome. Yes. If there would be a massive harvesting of souls across this land and around the world. Who's to say? Lord, these that are standing here right now, hear their prayer. Pray with me, those of you who've come forward. Dear Lord Jesus, Dear Lord Jesus, come into my life. Ignite the fire. I the fire that burns within me that burns within me to follow You to follow You to love You to love You to receive Your love to receive Your love and to walk with You to walk with You. I'm asking You, Lord, I'm asking You to take away my idols. to take away my idols. Whatever they may be. Whatever they may. You know. You know. Steal them from me. Steal them from me. I dedicate dedicate my life to You. I dedicate my life to You. On this night, on this night, I publicly confess. I publicly confess Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ. Him crucified. Him crucified. Him resurrected. Him resurrected. For the forgiveness. For the forgiveness. Of my sins. Of my s. I receive Your love. I receive Your love. You are my Savior. My Savior. And my Lord. My Lord. From this moment forward. this going forward. I give You my life. I give You my life. In Jesus name. In Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Amen. God bless you. God bless you.
Um, so that was unexpected. So that's great. Uh, can you guys make your way back to your seats? Yeah. You're going to have to help them get into their spot. Normally, we would hand out Bibles to you guys and get you, uh, connected with some people, but, uh, we usually do that at the end. So, welcome to the family of God, right? And welcome back some of us that are saying, "Lord, um, I want to recommit my life to You." You guys, um, as I mentioned, um, this aisle over here, so Bart, um, you guys, if you attend Sundays, because I know Wednesday nighters, you guys are a whole different breed. Um, I know that there's a lot of Wednesday nighters that attend other churches and you're not here on Sunday, but you come Wednesday nights. But Bart was the usher on this aisle. What service was it? Anybody remember? Was it first service? Second service. So up and down second service and, uh, you know what, Bart was the one who people would come to me and say, "Why does that guy always come forward when you end the service and you start to pray? He always comes forward and stands over here." And some people saw that as a distraction and I, I just said, "Leave him alone." Um, I found out just the other day, I didn't know why he did it, but he would come down the aisle and he would just turn around and face the other way. And I found out just the other day, um, he had told people that if Jack needs me at that moment or if he needs any kind of protection or any help at all, I want to be there for him. And that just, that just absolutely blessed my heart. I, I've got photos, I actual photos, young people, of photos. I have photos of Bart and I in Russia, uh, back in the 90s, giving the gospel and sharing the gospel with people in the streets in Russia. And, um, and then Jim Roberts, Jim and Tina, uh, now listen, Tina, as far as I know, we are his, we are her family now. Uh, they've been married, um, 66, 67 years. 69. Married 69 years. And, uh, Jim just, was it last night or this morning, went to go be with Jesus. And, um, and wow, I hope you are ready, uh, to meet the Lord because you never know when. And, um, I like that actually because, you know, if we knew when, we'd probably goof things up and then get right, right at the last moment, and then we would not be effective. But if you're ready, you're effective. Amen. And, um, but what a precious thing. The Bible tells us that to the Lord, precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. And when we say, we say the word death, but He's the one that broke the grave. He broke death. So we think, "Oh no, they died." Well, their body died, but their soul and their spirit, their consciousness, they're with the Lord and they're very happy right now. And, and, you know, we know from scripture, Paul the Apostle made that very clear that if they had the chance to come back right now, they wouldn't take it. Did you know that? See, but you don't know how much my my husband loved me, he would come back. If God gave them the chance, he would actually probably get in an argument with God and say, "Lord, no way. I want to stay here. She can come to me later." That's how awesome it is. Amen. And, uh, I think you already know that, uh, in some ways, right? There's, there's things in life that you've gone to or went to or you've been a part of and you hope it would never end and then of course it's over. It comes to the conclusion. But in our lives, there's the, there's the ultimate day coming when we will go to Him and it will never end. There's no going home. There's no going, there's no leaving Him. It will be done. You will have entered in. You would have crossed the finish line in the lifetime that God has given you. And, um, yeah, it's precious. Amen.
So, Father, we pray that You'd bless the going forth of Your word tonight and this time together as we look at part three of our installment in these last days as we look at Bible prophecy and what does it mean to us and various topics and issues of the end time events. And as we've been looking at this, uh, this one called the Antichrist, for the believer, someone we'll never see, we'll never meet him, we don't want to meet him, we are looking for the Christ. And Father, we just pray though that You would use the education, the teaching, the Bible tonight in our lives to help us be better witnesses, to share the hope of the real Jesus Christ, the true Christ. And, uh, Father, we just ask You that You'd give us understanding and always remembering that You've given us Bible prophecy from the Word of God, uh, not to scare us, but to prepare us, as our good friend Dr. Ed Hinson used to teach us. So, Father, we pray now for Your presence in the teaching. And all God's people said, "Amen." Amen.
So, you guys, I want to encourage you, grab your Bibles, by the way, and we are in part three of, uh, this, this particular topic. If you've come in here tonight for the first time, this is the Applied Series. And what that means is we are looking, and I think we're only like five or six weeks into it in total. We're looking at, um, the fact that God's Bible, the Word of God, the Bible, uh, is 27 to 32, 33% uh, prophetic in nature. Imagine that, over one quarter of the entire Bible is about future events, which tells you that they're very important things to God. So much so, look at the theme verse for our entire series. It's John 14:29. This is awesome. And these words should be in red because they're spoken by Jesus. Jesus said this, "And now I have told you before it comes." That's called eschatology, Bible prophecy. I'm going to tell you about it. Jesus said, "Before it happens." Only God can do that. Okay? "That when it does come to pass, you may believe." So here is a prophetic announcement by Jesus of being alert and being awake and being very in tune with what God has to say. And the whole reason is that you would become a believer. And for those, those of us who are believers, when we see God fulfill His, uh, prophetic word, our faith is strengthened. And that should be the effect. Why churches throughout America and around the world, why ministries avoid what we're talking about, I don't have a clue. If God wanted it to be avoided, He wouldn't have put it in the Bible. But again, it's in the Bible. Like I said, more than a quarter of the entire scriptures are prophetic in nature. And we looked at this, and we are looking at this in our third approach. And that is the days of the Antichrist. The days of the Antichrist. And I took liberty from, uh, the book that I wrote a couple years ago, D-A-Z-E, deliberately, D-A-Z-E, days. Think about that. I don't know what comes to your mind when you think about the word days. Um, I think about, have you ever guys, I hope no women, I hope women do not know what I'm talking about. I hope not when I say this. Guys, do you remember getting so punched in the face or hit so hard in football that you were dazed? Do you remember that? Um, you were stunned. You didn't know which way you, I remember one time on our, our football team, one of our guys got hit so hard, he walked off the field, but he went to the, he went to the other team's sideline. He didn't know where he was at. We're living in days where people do not know where they're at in all kinds of ways. But living in the days of deception is, uh, something that wakens you up to the reality. But the days of the Antichrist is something that, according to the Bible, is a time that we're moving every day closer toward the fulfillment of this man. He is an actual person that personifies the Antichrist spirit. The Bible talks about, we've already laid this groundwork before in our previous study, part one, part two. Tonight's part three. Then there's the spirit of Antichrist. And then there's those who are antichrist in their belief system. I just heard a guy tonight, if it's accurate, say that he was a Christian and then went on to embrace the God of Islam, which is not the Christian God. That's impossible. That's, that's two different gods. They're not the same gods at all. That would be the spirit of Antichrist in deception to deceive you to think you're okay as long as you're sincere, or you're okay as long as you get close. But Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father but through Me." Very exact, very specific, right? See, think about that for a moment. God is exact, and so is His prophecy that He gives. And so, just quickly, last time, days of the Antichrist, we saw this in, in, uh, one and two, part one and two, is that there's the war for the souls of mankind. That's one of the attempts of the Antichrist spirit is to get people to be blinded to salvation. Blinded against Jesus. You mention the name Jesus, or you hold a Bible, or you've got a t-shirt on that has a cross or a verse, or you might be wearing jewelry, and people get rabid over it. What's going on? There's an Antichrist spirit about them. They don't want to see that. They don't want that reminder in their lives. People get upset. They want, you know, some churches put up crosses with a, with a light on a hill or something, and people will petition, "We want this shut down. We want this light turned off. We want this stopped." What's the problem? "I don't believe in God." If you don't believe in God, then you'll have no problem with the light being on the cross because you don't believe in it. Go get a snow cone or something. Get out of the way. But people, listen, what is that? It's a bizarre spirit that what they believe or do not believe, they want to impose that upon you. And why? They have to because the thought of Christ, the thought of Jesus, the name of Jesus, the cross, a Bible drives them crazy. You might as well have garlic around your neck. Why? Because it's real. Amen. Because it's real. And I've often told you guys, why is Jesus's name the biggest cuss word in the world? Because He's real. And Satan hates Him. And there's a spirit of that. And then we saw last time together, the truth will be the only weapon against deception. The truth, the Bible will be the only thing. Young people, listen up. Old people, listen up if you can hear me. The Bible is our only hope. It's our only strength. This is the only way that you will be kept from being deceived. This book right here. Said, "Come on, man. You, that book's thousands of years old." There's a reason why I'm holding it after all these thousands of years. This is God's Word. It is true. And how beautiful it is. In the original languages, Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic, the Bible's completely perfect and quantified and qualified as absolutely flawless in the original languages. And that just, that also drives people crazy. It should drive people though who are thinking to Christ that you can know Him. And then listen, this is where we left off last time, and this, this will end it. I pray that as I get through this, I have to get through this tonight. The rise of a global worldview way of thinking. The Bible, according to the Bible, we'll see these things tonight, um, is that there is a push, according to the Bible. There's going to be a push toward a oneness in the world without God, one putting together of religions, one putting together of nations, one putting together, the Bible says, of economy, one currency, one world. And that thinking comes from the Bible. The Bible warns us about that, tells us about it. But it's Satan's great plan. Now, let's dive into this and, uh, bring in this verse to your remembrance. It's right there in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-5. And we're talking about this man to come, the Antichrist. "Let no one deceive you by any means, for that day will not come unless the falling away, the apostasy, comes first." That means people will depart from the faith, leave off believing on Jesus, and the man of sin is revealed. Notice that what comes first. Many people will give up on following Christ, and that atmosphere will prevail and precede this man of sin who will be revealed. "The son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God." That means there's going to be a temple rebuilt in Jerusalem someday, showing himself that he is God. Paul said to them, "Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things?" Remarkable. And Jesus confirmed that Himself in Matthew chapter 24 in what is known as the Olivet Discourse. Now, this is a, this is cool. When Jesus said this, He said this 2,000 years ago on the Mount of Olives. He's announcing this to His disciples in teaching them. And He's announcing to them very specific things. And it has a great, great, please mark this down. It has a great, great, uh, requirement that the end time event be focused on a particular place. Are you guys hearing me? This is important. Don't let anybody fool you on this. Let the Bible talk to you. Jesus said the last days are going to be, and I'll use our modern language. There's, there's going to be an epicenter of the last day events. "Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place," that's the temple, "whoever reads, let him understand." Watch this. Jesus is speaking about the future to the disciples. He tells them, "When you see," now watch this. Did that happen with the 12 disciples in their lifetime? Nope. It didn't happen. Jesus is speaking to the disciples, but He's also speaking beyond their head, over their shoulders. Jesus is speaking prophetically regarding the last time events because watch this. The temple is going to be torn down in 70 AD. It's going to be gone. Nearly 2,000 years will go by. But according to Thessalonians and Jesus and Matthew, there's going to be a new temple, and there's going to be this Antichrist creature, this person, and he's going to stand in the place of God. And Jesus said, "Daniel wrote about this, and this one is going to stand in the holy place." "Verse 16, then let those who are in Judea flee." Are you in Judea? No. Don't mess with the Bible. It says Judea. It means Judea. "Flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house." Do you live on top of your house? They do. They did then, and they still do now. "Verse 18. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes." Total sense of urgency, clearly. But woe to those who are pregnant and those who are nursing babies in those days. Why? What's Jesus got against nursing moms and ba, and pregnant women? Answer: Nothing. It's hard to escape and to flee when you're trying to nurse a baby, hold a baby, or be pregnant. I wouldn't know. I've only had a kidney stone. That's all I've ever known. But I, Jesus is saying it's going to be very sad for women pregnant in those days and nursing moms because it's going to be such a time of urgency that when this one stands in this place and commits this incredible atrocity against God, and he's going to declare himself to be God, him, Jesus said, "Run, get down from your housetop and run." Remarkable. "Verse 20. And pray that your flight or your escape may not be in winter or on the Sabbath." First of all, did you know that the temple, you know, Jerusalem, you know, snows there every year? Do you know that? It's crazy when it snows there. I've been in there several times when it snows, and it's a problem because it's hilly. Buses are move sliding around, cars are sliding around. It's crazy. Jesus says that, but He says something that is even more incredibly specific. He says, "Pray that it's not on the Sabbath." Who cares about? We don't care about that. You, you want to know why that's a problem? Because for the Jew that sees this happen in the future, for them to run and flee on the Sabbath, they're going to have to violate their conscience because they can only go, what is it, 1500 furlongs or something? I forget what the distance is. They can only go so far and then they're not allowed to go any further. And Jesus is basically saying, "You better run and forget about the law. I hope that doesn't hang you up because you better go." Wow. The Antichrist, when he comes on the world scene, according to Revelation chapter 17 and 18, he's going to create, he's going to launch some sort of false church-state system. He will have what is called the false prophet, and there will be icons and images, and there's going to be, of course, the ultimate image, and that will be this thing, this, this statue. I don't know, but there's going to be an image that is in, made in honor of this man called the Beast, the Antichrist. And the false prophet will preside. He'll be a religious leader for all of the religions of the world. He's going to bring them all together. Wow. And you know, that's not, that's not a surprise. You know, there's a lot of effort that goes on, uh, where you hear things like this. "Let's have, let's have a community, uh, interfaith prayer meeting." Have you ever heard these things before? Yes. "Let's have, you know what, our city is going to be hosting an interfaith prayer gathering." I have to tell you, I have asked God every time I've heard that invitation, "Do You want me to go?" And every time it's been clear, "Don't go for this reason." Who are they praying to? Who are they praying to? I have to tell you, if somebody says, you know, on Monday, we're going to pass a law, and on Monday, uh, we're going to, we're going to pray to Buddha on Monday, and we're going to pray to Confucius on Tuesday, and we're going to pray to, uh, Yahweh on Wednesday, and Allah on Thursday. Listen, um, I'm only going to show up, uh, when we pray to Yahweh, because the Bible says Yahweh is the only God that is real and that He listens and that He's eternal and that He's the Creator. You say, "Well, that's kind of, boy, that's kind of rude, isn't it?" No, listen. Why would I go to the other prayer minions when there's no God listening? He says He's the only one. And, and how do we know He's the only one? I mean, come on, let's be honest. Well, that's your opinion. Listen, it's not my opinion. I have brought my independent thinking in line with what He has said. Amen. It's not me. It's Him who has said this. He says, "All other gods are fake." He says, "I'm the only one that's true, and I'll prove it to you." He says, "I'm going to write down the future in advance." It's called Bible prophecy. And when it happens, then you can believe. Amen. Wow. What a, what an amazing God He is. And one of those great things is that He warns us about a, a coming false church, a false religion, if you want. And the Antichrist is very big on that. And one of the things that we need to know is that whatever is found in the book of Revelation is of course so often revealed first of all in the book of Daniel. But look at Daniel chapter 7, uh, verse 8, for example. "I was considering the horns." Daniel sees this vision, and he sees this, this beast as it were rising up out of the sea, and he sees these horns. And we're going to know if we read the entire book of Daniel, the horns will be described as kings. And he says, "So I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, so there were 10 horns, and an 11th horn pops up, a little one, coming up among them, for whom three of the first horns were plucked out of the roots." And there in this horn, this, this is the little horn. This is the Antichrist, the one we're talking about tonight. He arises insignificantly at first. He's a little horn. He's got authority. This person in the future, globally minded world, some sort of globalism. And this guy is seemingly insignificant. He arises, but watch how the Bible describes him. I love this because it's, it's from God's perspective. "And there in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man." That should kind of creep you out. There's going to be a leader. He's going to be one who will be manipulated. The Bible will show us by Satan. But it's a wild statement in scripture. His eyes, they're like the eyes of a man. Now, we know from scripture that Satan will possess the Antichrist. Satan has always wanted to be worshiped. Remember, he said to Jesus in the wilderness, "Just bow down and worship me, and it's all going to be great. I'll give you everything." Isn't that amazing? The Antichrist is going to be possessed by Satan. And Satan is going to be looking, so to speak, out of his eyeballs and getting all excited that the world is worshiping the Antichrist when Satan wants it for himself. I mean, that is creepy thinking. Satan wants to be worshiped, but no one's going to exactly worship him. So, he's going to possess a man and have him do amazing things, the Antichrist. And when the world gives him all this honor, Satan's going to get all excited about it. What a twisted way of thinking. But that's what happens when you believe in your own lies. And Satan is the father of lies. "His mouth," the Bible says, "will be speaking pompous words, arrogant words, uh, boastful words." Chapter 2:44. "And in the days of these kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, and the kingdom shall not be left to other people. It shall break in pieces and consume all the kingdoms, and it shall stand forever." What does that mean? That Jesus Christ will return in what is called the Second Coming. And when He does, it will be for the destruction of the Antichrist, a Christ-rejecting world. And the great Second Coming is that great day of global judgment. Christ sets up His kingdom. And the Bible tells us Jesus will rule and reign for a thousand years. That happens at the end of the tribulation period. It's known as the Second Coming. He physically returns to earth. We also know this, that Satan supplies deception. The deception that man desires, Satan will supply that through this man, the Antichrist. Revelation chapter 13 tells us about him. "Then I stood on the sand of the sea." John is speaking. Book of Revelation. "And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and 10 horns." Sounds like Daniel, huh? "And on his horns 10 crowns, and on his heads blasphemous names. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard. His feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power." Who's the dragon? Take a wild guess. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and
great authority. And I saw one of his heads, watch this, as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave him authority to the who gave authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who's like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?"
Verse 5 says, "And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies." Does that sound like Daniel? It's because they're both reporting the same thing from an Old Testament perspective and from a New Testament perspective. And he was given authority to continue 42 months. Write this down if you care to, please. 42 months in the Bible is the same as three and a half years, which is the same as 1,260 days. It's all the same based upon a 360-day calendar, which is what the Bible is uh always from Genesis to Revelation. It's based on a 360-day calendar. This is amazing.
And so verse six, then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God to blaspheme his name, his tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and overcome them, destroy them. So, oh my goodness, Satan, the Antichrist is going to is going to destroy us. No, that's not what it says. Are you listening?
The Bible says the Antichrist is going to be given power here to destroy the saints. What saints? They're called tribulation saints, not the church. people, if you don't settle this in your heart, you could get tricked by people who are saying that's proof that the church will be in the tribulation period. No, it doesn't prove a thing. Old Testament saints were called saints. The church age is the bride of Christ is called saints. And those who live in the seven-year tribulation period, they're called saints. Right now, you're called to live for Jesus. In those days, the believers will, they're not the church, by the way. The church is from the day of Pentecost to the day of the rapture. After the rapture, the tribulation saints will follow that. There's three categories of saints. Old Testament, church age, and tribulation period. All those who trust in Christ are called saints. I know you don't feel like a saint. I don't feel like one either. When I look at pictures of me, I don't see any little halo around my head. But God does when he sees you. He sees you washed in the blood of Jesus. And he calls you saints. He calls you saints.
I know it's kind of humbling, kind of embarrassing. But maybe we ought to take a deep breath and receive that work that Jesus did because he does all things good and he's made us new. We are new creations in Christ. Yeah. Amen. We're new.
And so in the middle of that verse, an authority was given to him, that is the antichrist, over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him. Wow. Whose names have not been written in the book of uh the book of life of the lamb or what is known as the lamb's book of life. Everybody's in the book of life. You need to get your name in the lamb's book of life. You get your name in the lamb's book of life, that's how you keep your name in the book of life. But if your name is not in the lamb's book of life, then your name will be blotted out of the book of life. Does it make sense? No. Yes.
Maybe some of you are like scratching your head on that one. That from the foundation of the world. Verse 9. If anyone has an ear to hear, let him hear. He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity. He who kills uh with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Then I saw another beast, John said, coming up out of the earth. Notice, not the sea this time, but out of the earth. And he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. and his and he exercises all the authority of the first beast, the antichrist, in his presence and causes the earth and those who dwell on it to worship the first beast, that's the antichrist, whose deadly wound was healed. This is amazing. You're going to see how amazing this is in just a second. This is incredible. Say, "Wait a minute, Jack. Did you JUST SAY THE ANTICHRIST IS going to have a deadly wound that's healed?" Yep. Something's going to happen. Something's going to happen to this beast, the Antichrist, the first beast. Something's going to happen in his public career whereby he is somehow either actually mortally wounded or it looks like he's mortally wounded, but the world will worship him for this deadly wound that is healed. How what does that sound like to you during his career? Is he going to be assassinated? He's going to receive a deadly wound and yet he's going to be healed. Question, who heals him? I think Satan heals him. Well, is he really dead? I actually, this my opinion now, I don't think he actually dies. I think he receives a wound in his head that should have killed him, but he's going to look like he's resurrected. the world will go, when you read the whole thing in context, the world when they find out that he's alive, they're gonna have they're going to party. They're going to be so happy and they're going to be rejoicing. And he and from that event, his fame is catapulted globally and people will worship him. You say, "Well, that's crazy." I understand it's crazy, but it's true. It's amazing.
Luke chapter 10:1-17. Luke chapter 10:17. We need to remember something about how the world that you and I live in and the spirit realm is so inseparably bound together. Jesus has been preparing his disciples, first the 12 and then he's teaching others to the point where you've read this in the gospels. It says, "Now the 70, there were 70 disciples, not the 12. the 12 or the 12. But as the believers are growing, Jesus clearly prepares uh 70 of them and he sends them out to preach the gospel and they're all going out all kinds of places. And you read this in Luke 9 and Luke 10. You read this in the book of Acts. Then the 70 return with joy. So they come back from their little missionary trip. Jesus sends him out for like a, you know, couple of days, I think it is, because he says, "You don't you don't have to worry about where you're going to stay. People will provide for you. They'll open up the door. You don't need any money. You'll be okay." And so the 70 return with joy saying, "LORD, EVEN DEMONS ARE SUBJECT to us in your name." They're like freaking out. Wouldn't that be great? It works. They come back. Jesus, it worked. You're right. Even demons obey us in your name.
And Jesus said to them, I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this that the spirits are subject to you, but rather REJOICE BECAUSE YOUR NAMES are written in heaven. Now, what's amazing about this is Jesus sends them out with his power and he reports. He doesn't have to tell us this. While you guys were ministering, WHILE YOU GUYS WERE out there coming up against the kingdom of darkness, I saw Satan's kingdom fall. Think of that. What does that mean? Well, we we know this. Satan is still out and about, but he's lost his authority. He listen, Satan will brag, will boast, and will assume his authority, but Jesus said his kingdom is broken. His kingdom has been defeated with the coming of Christ. Think of this.
So, he's a liar and he says, "You are you are a child of of uh molestation and you'll always be broken. You are a child of of uh drunkenness or drugs and addiction and you'll always be that way. You are enslaved. That's what he says to us. You are this and you'll always be that and you'll never be anything other than that. And don't fool yourself FOR A MOMENT. GOD LOVES EVERYBODY but you. He lies. He's the one that puts the thought in your head that God loves everybody that's around you except you. This is something that every believer is being is is tempted with at some point in time that it's easier for God to forgive the person next to you than it is for God to forgive you. We so often give into the lie of the enemy. No. The truth of the matter is Satan is a liar. He's very good at it obviously and what he says is very convincing though it be false.
But what does God say? God says apparently when you go out and minister in my name in the name of Christ, I like to think of it this way. Every time you and I serve Jesus, how about worship? When those when those precious people lead us in worship and when you're singing, what do you know from the Bible? When worship is offered up, demons flee. Remember when Saul was being attacked by demons and he called for David to come and do worship. What did the when David came and played worship, what did the demons do? They left. They took off. Think about that for a moment. Wouldn't it be great that maybe you know before service starts there's like demons walking around in here looking around, poking you in the eye, giving you a bad attitude. You see a seat, you make your way to it and somebody sits down and you get all grumpy pants about it. I can't believe that. He's just, you know, he's trying to just provoke you and upset you and then worship begins. They can't stand it. Martin Luther talked about that. Worship. And when worship starts going, the enemy can't stand it. So, what if they move out to the street and they're waiting? What if they drive by and it's a low rider car they're in and the smoke's billowing out. These demons are hanging out of the windows and they're just waiting for service to get out. THEY CAN'T STAND WORSHIP. THEY CAN'T STAND THE WORD OF GOD. I like to look at it this way. Whenever ministry happens, we could maybe say, "I saw Satan's kingdom suffer. I saw Satan fall like lightning to the earth. saw him I saw him panicking.
Isn't it amazing that when somebody in the book of Acts was trying to put on ministry AND THEY SAID DEMONS COME OUT OF THIS MAN IN THE NAME OF JESUS AND IN THE NAME OF PAUL COME OUT OF THE MAN AND THE DEMONS SAID TO THE GUY JESUS we know and Paul we KNOW BUT WHO ARE YOU? And and the Bible says the demons jumped on that guy and the guy ran away naked. That' been something to see. When we worship, when we serve God, the kingdom of darkness suffers, which is why Satan will often talk you out of getting involved. Amen. Don't go to the prayer meeting. That's ridiculous. Don't make yourself available to serve God. That's a waste of time. Wow. Clearly, when we worship the Lord in spirit and in truth, the kingdom of darkness suffers. And I like that. That's called warfare and it's a good thing.
2 Corinthians 10:4-6. You guys know this well. Watch this. Except we don't know so much the latter part. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal or of this world, but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds, casting down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Bringing every thought into captivity. Are you having a bad thought? You can have a bad thought in church. You can have a bad thought anytime. What are you supposed to do with that bad thought? You're supposed to bring it into the captivity of Christ. If something flashes across your face, you know what I mean by I mean your head. It happens to all of us. Even in church and you're thinking like, "What is wrong with me? I had a fine day and then I come to church and I've had this evil thought pop up in my mind." Happens to all of us. You should the the thoughts I think about you guys sometimes you wouldn't. No, I'm kidding. I'm joking. But but I know what you're I know what I'm talking about. What are you supposed to do with that thought? Do you go like this? Is that what you're supposed to do with the thought? NO. YOU SAY, "WOW, WAIT A MINUTE. LORD, IN JESUS NAME, I'M ASKING YOU, LORD, TO TAKE THAT THOUGHT CAPTIVE. I'M BRINGING IT TO YOU. I'M ASKING YOUR POWER, LORD. I DON'T EVEN TRUST MY ABILITY TO TAKE IT CAPTIVE. I'M BRINGING IT TO YOU, JESUS. Get that out of get THAT OUT OF MY HEART. Get that out of my mind." And if that happens 10 TIMES IN A DAY, YOU FIGHT 10 times in a day. If it happens a hundred times, you do it a hundred times. But you KEEP FIGHTING. THAT'S PART OF BEING A BELIEVER. That's part of BEING A CHRISTIAN. GRAB WHEN THAT THOUGHT HAPPENS, YOU GRAB IT AND you throw it right right over to Jesus. He can handle it. He can take it. And he knows about it. You're under attack. You're being tempted. It's powerful.
But look at that verse. goes on. Verse six is incredible. And being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. That's a heavy man. That means as we walk in obedience to Christ, we will turn and expose evil. You say, "Well, I don't know if I believe that." Yeah, you do. You do because the Bible puts it this way. Be salt and light. remarkable spiritual realm warfare.
Revelation 12:7. Revelation 12:7. And war broke out in heaven. Wow. By the way, this is during the tribulation period. Michael and his angels fought with the dragon. And the dragon and his angels, you mean there's fallen angels? Oh, yeah. They fought, but they DID NOT PREVAIL, NOR WAS A PLACE FOUND FOR THEM IN HEAVEN any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, THE SERPENT OF OLD CALLED THE devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was cast to the earth and his angels were cast out with him. By the way, I'm so glad that I'm not going to be here in the tribulation period, but when he's because when he's cast out, he comes to the earth and uh what happens after that ain't good.
John 12, the Bible says verse 31, now is the judgment. Jesus said, now is the judgment of this world. Now the ruler of this world will be cast out. Reference to Satan. You know, people who say that they can't believe in your God because there's so much evil in the world. They'll never become a Christian because of all the evil. They're focused on the wrong God. This God on the screen is a lowercase G. Yes. Adam and Eve handed over to Lucifer the powers that be and he's been wreaking havoc ever since. But Christ is coming back. He's going to undo all that. And I think CS Lewis is the one who says when somebody asks, "Why doesn't God do something about it?" CS Lewis said he is. He is doing something about it. Right now, he has landed. The Lord has landed with enemy forces to take back what was captured. He said, "Right now, the Lord is working in this battle through you and I." Amen. But there's a day coming when the king returns and settles that score and gives the justice and the judgment to Satan. And again, all that is at the end of the tribulation period.
John chapter 16:8-11 says this. And when he has come, the Holy Spirit, he will convict the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment. Of sin because they do not believe in me and of righteousness because I go to my father and you see me no more. And of judgment because the ruler of this world is judged. Satan. If listen, if in your life, maybe you're here tonight and you've just come out of a seance or you just got done playing with a Ouija board today and now you've come to church and you're going, "Wow, this is crazy." Hey, let me tell you something right now. Demonic activity is real. And Satan will try to convince you that he's in charge. Is he powerful? Absolutely. But listen, he's not more powerful than the Holy Spirit. He's not more powerful than God. Satan is a created being. So is his fallen angels are created beings. GOD IS NOT CREATED. JESUS IS NOT CREATED. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS NOT CREATED.
And so when the enemy lies and says what he says, listen, you need to tell him the truth. You need to speak the truth. Satan has lied to your life. Your word to him is this. I'm not going to listen to you anymore. Christ has set me free. I've got the truth. The Bible is the word of God. You can shoot at me all you want. The Bible tells me that God has given me a shield of faith and I'm going to use that against your attack. I'm and then I'm going to turn and I'm going to attack you with the word of God which is the sword of the spirit. And when you give the word of God and we are to know the word of God, friend, please know the Bible because when the enemy attacks like with temptation in some way, shape or form against your life, if you go this is an attack from the enemy. Ah, what do I do? Um, in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. You don't quote Genesis 1. You need to know how to use the word of God. You need to say something like this. First John 4:4 says, "Greater is he that's in me than he, the spirit that's in the world." And you stand on God's truth. And you fight with the sword of the spirit. It's the only advance or aggressive weapon that is in our armorament is the sword of the spirit. And the Bible says it is the word of God. Amen.
Okay, we don't have much time left, but we have to do this. Watch this. John, excuse me, Isaiah Isaiah 14. Who is this dragon? Who is this thing? What is it? What's the deal? Watch this. Isaiah 14, God shows, speaks through the prophet Isaiah, and you just follow along. You judge for yourself. Hell from beneath is is excited about you to meet you at your coming. It stirs up the dead for you. All the chief ones of the earth. It has raised up from their thrones all the kings. This makes me think of Lord of the Rings, the movie. All the kings of the nations, they all shall speak and say to you, now imagine this. Pause right there. Think about this, so to speak, dark, foggy, eerie, horrible soup. And it's hell, and it's getting excited. Things start to move. the kings of the earth, the powerful ones, they're there and they're they're like, "Wait, what's going on? What's happening now?" This is amazing.
Verse 10, they all shall speak and say to you, "Have you also become as weak as we? Have you become like us? Your pump is brought down to shol hell and the sound of your stringed instruments the maggot is spread under you and worms cover you. How you are fallen from heaven. Who is it? Oh Lucifer, son of the morning. HOW YOU ARE CUT DOWN TO the ground. You who weakened the nations." Think about what's going on in the world right now. Satan weakens nations. FOR YOU HAVE SAID IN YOUR HEART, this is what Lucifer said. I will ascend into heaven. I will be or I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. Third, I will also sit on the mount of the congregation of the farthest sides of the north. Verse 14. Number four, I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. Number five, the fifth one. I will be like the most high God. Wow. Remember Jesus, all you need to do is bow down and worship me. Verse 15, yet you shall be brought down to shol to the lowest depths of the pit. Those who see you will gaze at you and consider you, saying, is this the man who made the earth to tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities, who did not open the house of his prisoners? Who are we talking about? Lucifer. Satan. You think, have you ever seen this before? Have you ever read this before? Is it awesome? It lets you into something. It's like, oh my gosh, hell is going to get excited because the one that got them down into hell in the first place, they're going to see him eventually get down and be condemned to hell itself. And he says, and they say, "You've become just like us." Wow.
What about this? Ezekiel 28. Ezekiel 28. Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, son of man, that's Ezekiel's name, take up a lamentation for the king of Ty. Well, the king of Ty was a real guy, a real person. But remember, there's powers behind real people. There's powers behind physical thrones. There's spiritual powers behind those thrones. and say to him, "Thus says the Lord God, you were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty." Okay, I guarantee you the the king of Ty, some dude, he was not the seal of perfection. You say, "Well, that's your opinion." Okay, for right now, just my opinion. Let's just see how this goes. You're So, you're the uh you're the seal of perfection, full of wisdom, perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God. What? Every precious stone was your covering. What? Can you imagine being covered in stones? My granddaughter for Christmas got this kit where you take the glue with the little glitter thingies and you put it on everything like a snail. You You can bling yourself. She blinged her cell phone cover. Blinged it out. You know what I'm talking about? Young kids. It's the little tweezers with the glue and it looks diamondy and everything's fancy and she's like going around now like looking for stuff to and you got to watch out because she'll do your face, you know, if you're not careful. But uh can you imagine doing it though to a snail in your backyard? Snails are out now. It's springtime. And you put all this ruby looking diamond stuff on and this this snail's going along and all of his friends are going, "Wow, you're amazing." And they're like, "What's the big deal?" Say, Satan was like that. Satan was he Lucifer was made perfect covered with stones. And the Bible says Sardis, topaz, diamond, burl, onyx, jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timberals. Do you remember we heard a moment ago that your stringed instruments?
Do you guys know what Lucifer did in heaven? Anybody? led the angels in worship. You read a moment ago in Isaiah 14 that that he has stringed instruments. Now you hear, watch this, the workmanship of your timberals and pipes as was prepared for you on the day that you were created. He was a worship instrument himself. You were the anointed cherub who covers you established you. You were on the mountain of the HOLY MOUNTAIN OF GOD. YOU WALKED BACK AND FORTH IN THE MIDST OF THE FIERY STONES. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created till iniquity was found in you by the abundance of your trading. He, in other words, he um his iniquity was to let all the angelic world know that he's the one he trafficked in self grandisement. If you want to talk about being a narcissist, this is where it starts. This is the one. You became filled with violence within you and you sinned. Therefore, I cast you as a profane thing out of the mountain of God, and I destroyed you, oh covering cherub, from the midst of the fiery stones. Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty. You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. I cast you to the ground and laid you before kings. Ah, that they might gaze at you. We just read that in Isaiah 14. You defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your trading. THEREFORE, I BROUGHT FIRE from your midst. I devoured you and I turned you to ashes upon the earth and in the sight of all who saw you. All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you. You have become a horror and shall no more uh shall shall be no more forever. This is his demise. This is his end. The spiritual world is real.
I'm going to encourage you guys. Um, can you guys do this because I really want to I really want to move on. Should we do should we finish this next week or should we talk about puppies or something next week? Because I have a lot there's there's a lot. Can we just run through the screens for a second? And so we'll know where we're going to go next week. That that verse. Next verse. That one too. That. See? And this. And that too. That and the other one. This is what's next week. That. That. And that. More of this. Some of that. This too. That. That right here. And that will be it. Um, so we either finished it or we pick it up next week. Vote. Do we do we go next week with it?
Okay. The the 10 of us will do it next week. Father God, I pray that tonight every one of the dear souls, the dear saints who made a confession of faith in you earlier this evening at worship, God, that you'd wrap them up and just squeeze them with your love, your compassion, your sense of the sense that you give in knowing even though we can't see you, that we are now bought. There's that sense of ownership. I remember it nearly 50 years ago when it happened to me the first time and it was just like I what in the world's going on Lord. It just absolutely wrapped them up. Lord, some of them came forward out of desperation. Meet them in their need. Some of them came forward to recommit, renew them. Some of them came forward not knowing exactly what to do, but they knew they were supposed to respond. Lord, show them. And Father, for us here right now, God, that we would walk in the power of your Holy Spirit. And Lord, that with all that's going on in the world around us, that we would not fear. We would not allow ourselves to be moved by anything. We are children of the most high God. The truth of God is in us. Our names are written down in the Lamb's book of life. And I pray, Father, that we would walk in power and in joy. that we would walk in the liberty and freedom wherewith Christ has set us free. Tonight, God has set you free. You may not even realize it, but God has set you free from your addictions. Tonight, God has set you free from the brutality. He has given you a voice. He has given you a new life. And your GPS is the Bible.
Father, we praise you, Lord. receive this song of praise and worship that we offer to you now in Jesus name. And all God's people said, "Amen." Let's stand as we sing the song together. God bless you. In the morning that you rose, all of heaven till that storm was moved for good. for the lamb and conquered death. The arrows from their tombs and the angels stood in a for the souls of all to the father. The church of Christ was born and his shall not be shall not his name. It is free and I am free for the love of Jesus Christ who resurre Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. Oh, praise forever to the King of Kings. Oh, praise forever to the King of Kings. Amen. If you need prayer tonight, come on up in our prayer team will be up here for you. If you did make a decision for Jesus and you want a Bible, you can also come up here and get a Bible and all kinds of things. And um anyway, we love you. God bless you. We'll see you soon.
