We feel very badly, but you know those great people, those great patriots were out there fighting that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.

Welcome to the Newsmax Daily for Monday, July 20th, 2026, the 2001st day of the year. Hope yours is going well. President Trump speaking with reporters at Joint Base Andrews last night as he returned to Washington from New Jersey where he and the first lady attended the FIFA World Cup final.

We hit him very hard again tonight and uh we did that in honor of the probably three. It's probably three as opposed to two great Patriots.

The Department of War has confirmed the deaths of two US service members. Human remains found are believed to be the third soldier that was listed as missing. In the big picture, this is the only thing that really matters today. The deaths of three US service members after Iran launched ballistic missiles and drone attacks on a US base in Jordan. They also continued targeting US bases in Bahrain and Kuwait, including a Kuwaiti water processing facility that supplies drinking water to more than 50% of the country.

Let's start with Wake Up America weekend edition and then we will hear from former under secretary of defense Robert Wilkey and national security analyst Breijit Gabriel. Two US troops killed, one still missing after Iranian missile and drone attacks in Jordan on Friday. To discuss, we'd like to welcome in Illinois Congresswoman Mary Miller. Thank you so much for joining us this morning. Congresswoman uh Iran's Supreme Leader warning Washington of quote unforgettable lessons to come following the death of two US service uh members and one of them still missing after those Iranian missile attacks in uh Jordan there. US Sentcom forces successfully completed another round of strikes on Iran, striking crucial Iranian military sites and facilities. Uh Congresswoman, what do you expect Iran's next steps to be? and uh maybe even how do you expect the US to respond out of retaliation here?

Well, I couldn't predict what Iran would do because they don't think the way we think and President Trump is aware of that. President Trump is a strong leader and we're thankful for that. Our hearts go out to the families who have lost loved ones. Um our troops are in harm's way. They've deployed to some of the most dangerous places in the world. And you know, we need to continue to pray for our troops and pray for the recovery of those who are injured. But I fully expect President Trump and our awesome military to show how strong we are.

Republican Congresswoman Mary Miller of Illinois on Wake Up America Weekend Edition with Kenzie Beach and Kyle Louderder, who we will go back to in a few minutes for something completely different. But staying with Iran, the question is how is Iran still capable of executing ballistic missile attacks? Drone attacks are one thing, right? But ballistic missile attacks after we've been told for months now that Iran's ballistic missile and drone capabilities were completely destroyed. Last night, President Trump had a slightly different message.

Iran has been very, very badly damaged. They've uh lost everything almost militarily. They've got very little left. They've got some missiles. They've got some drones. They've got some manufacturing ability. Not much. Unless I've missed it. That is the first time in the last few months that I heard the president acknowledge they still have some manufacturing capability or Russia and or China are still supplying Iran with ballistic missiles. Something I'm sure that we are looking into.

Next up, Sunday Agenda with Lydia Serrani.

Retaliation rocks. Iran, the United States, and Iran now edging closer to an all-out war after the killing of two American service members. Meanwhile, hopes of a deal now completely unraveling. Joining me now, former under secretary of defense and secretary of veteran affairs, Robert Wilkkey. Also with us, national security analyst and chairwoman of ACT for America, Breijit Gabriel. Uh, under secretary, let me start off with you first. Israel's military says Iran has launched more missiles towards Jordan today. The State Department now advising Americans to exercise increased caution worldwide. This comes at such a precarious moment because the president has been doing so much to try to get a deal on the table. But within 3 days, Iran violated that me memorandum of understanding. So, where do we go from here? Eight nights of strikes thus far. Are we are we in a full just a war right now? Is this a full fullscale war at this point?

You know, I was born in khaki diapers, Lydia, and anytime you launch weapons and you engage troops, you are in a war.

And we are in a war against a dead end regime.

We are in a war against theocratic fanatics. They don't keep any deal or any agreement that they reach. And I think it's time to finally finish them off because if we don't, we'll be right back here next year. They will continue to spread terror throughout the world, kill their own people, uh threaten the region, and um this this is something that that that has to end. It's interesting to me that um the the Democratic Party has abandoned the chief victim of the Iranian regime and and the so-called mayor of New York is now threatening to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu.

M uh and this is this is at a time when every year a parade of killers and thieves goes to the United Nations General Assembly. But it's only when Jews are involved that the Democratic Party seems to engage. And they seem to engage always on the wrong side of history and they're in the wrong side of this Iranian fight.

And when you say finish them off once and for all, what do you mean by that, Secretary? I I mean destroy any capability that they have to wage aggressive war. Uh destroy the remnants of their nuclear facilities and their nuclear ambition and take out the fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh echelon of their leadership. Uh the Israelis know where they are. We'll get that information. Uh, but we we started this we if we if we leave with the regime intact and capable of terrorizing its neighbors that will be a victory not just for the Iranians but also for the Chinese.

Former under secretary of defense Robert Wilkey. And if we don't finish the job Russia and China will be celebrating along with Iran.

To what the under secretary just mentioned. You have the mayor of New York City, the largest city, the financial capital of the world, threatening to arrest the prime minister of Israel during the UN assembly. There are multiple reports that Mandani is exploring ways that he can arrest the prime minister declaring unilaterally. This is from him saying that BB is a war criminal. What do you think about Maani? What is the ultimate goal here? Because how how is it possible that we have a mayor being so brazen and so bold as to threaten something like this? Because he believe that will help the Democratic party in driving their new socialist candidates to victory. Right now the Democratic party is divided not just among socialist communist versus the moderate but also between those who support Israel and those who are against Israel. And the more you are against Israel, the more you have a bigger chances of success, especially with socialist e extremist uh candidates, communist running all across the nation. The Democratic Party is shifting in a major way and that is due to the rise of Islamic immigration into the United States and the power influence of organizations like CARE, the Council on American Islamic Relations getting involved in politics and supporting and electing candidates like Mam Donni and many others like him across the nation. So right now in this upcoming midterm, you're going to see the driver of elections are going to be the the topic of Israel. The anti-Israel is going to be leading among the Democratic sides. And the more they can show and prove how anti-Israel they are, they believe the more they will be able to win more votes and mobilize their base. And that's why you are seeing the uh shouting and screaming and defiance on the Democratic side to oppose Netanyahu. are making Netanyahu the the head of the spear that image that represents evil versus the goodness of the standing with the pro Palestinian fight, defunding the underdog, which is Hamas, they call them the freedom fighters. So you are seeing that on display right now leading up to the most important midterm election in recent history.

National Security Adviser Breijit Gabriel on Newsmax with Lydia Serrani and Rita Cosby, host of Saturday Report, spoke about Israel and the rise of anti-semitism in Congress with Florida Representative Randy Fine, a member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs.

The House overwhelmingly rejected uh a proposal to eliminate $3.3 billion dollar in US aid to Israel. Uh but this came as 103 Democrats voted in favor of ending the funding. That is stunning. Um and you know what's really frightening, Congressman, that two years ago that same vote happened. There were 37 Democrats at that point. This time there were 103. What does that tell you about some of your Democratic colleagues?

Well, it says that the Democratic Party is a mainstream Jewhating party. Um, and that's that you can't argue that anymore. This was an insane slap in the face of our greatest ally in the world, the only one that we can count on to go into battle with us. And when we had to take on Iran, Israel was right next to us. So to simply slap us in the face, any Jew that votes Democrat really needs to get their head examined. But I'm also very proud that not a single Republican, not one, joined the admittedly anti-semitic Thomas Massie in voting for that amendment. So the Republican party stood unanimous together. The Democratic Party chose to embrace Jew hatred.

It was very stunning and maybe it's a sign of what's to come in a very divided Democratic party. Rita Cosby also asked the congressman about the Senate's failure to pass the Save America Act.

You voted yes on the Save America Act. Not once, not twice, not three times, about four times. Tell us why you think it's so important and why can't we get over the hurdle of this? Why can't it get to the Senate? Well, look, it's important because if people don't have trust in the results of our elections, then we don't have a democracy and the entire country falls apart. And what's particularly frustrating about this fight is the overwhelming majority of Americans agree. Whether you're a Republican, a Democrat, an independent, a man, a woman, black, white, Asian, Hispanic, everyone thinks it's not a big deal to show a driver's license in order to vote. Even Barack Obama agrees. You had to show a driver's license to get into his museum. So, people are very frustrated. It's why I keep voting. Yes. What we need the Senate to do is vote for it once. And they need to stop taking vacations and stop working on silly bills. They need to do the job that Americans elected them to and stay there for as long as it takes to get the Save America Act passed.

And congressman ABC and NBC did not carry Trump's Oval Office address live. CNN also didn't air the speech saying that there was a live feed that would be available on its website and its streaming platform. Now, the president suggested that broadcasters should face some consequences. What are your thoughts? It's really stunning to me that they wouldn't carry it. It's the president of the United States. It's an Oval Office address. Is this sort of just part of the overall sort of censoring of the media against this president, whatever he's talking about?

Yeah, I think it's very troubling. What makes a broadcast network difference is they have an asset that has been provided to them by the public, access to the public airwaves. That's something, for example, that Newsmax doesn't have. There's no free way to get it over the air. We they've been given you guys have been given no bandwidth. And if the media, if broadcast networks are going to start to pick and choose, if they're going to broadcast Joe Biden's insane speech that he gave in Philadelphia where it looked like a speech in front of the SS or something, and they're going to broadcast that live, but they're not going to broadcast the president. That kind of picking and choosing is very problematic, and I think it begs the question of whether they should have access to these public broadcast uh licenses.

Yeah, it's interesting. The picking and choosing for sure. Rita Cosby, host of Saturday Report. That's at 11:00 a.m. Eastern on Saturdays, obviously, along with Florida Congressman Randy Fine. I have to go back to a segment from Friday. This is from Ed Henry's Big Take for more on the Save America Act and Voter ID. A great segment with Dean Kaine.

Friend Dean Kaine, the actor, filmmaker, host of that incredible podcast, The Homeland. Dean, always good to see you. Welcome back.

It's a pleasure, sir. What a what a nice opening there. There was a lot going on, my friend.

Well, I want you to react to it because people are online today having fun with Olive Garden putting out a statement. They actually put out a statement and he said, "If you buy the never-ending pasta pass, it's only for the passholder. Dean, you can't transfer it to someone. You got to show v ID, not voter ID, but photo ID." So, the account libs of Tik Tok joked, quote, literally shaking right now. Olive Garden is basically banning black people and married women from using pasta passes. And you know what? That's that's the ridiculous argument Democrats make, Dean. 100%. It makes no sense at all. If Olive Gardens, you know, all day pasta is is more secure than our elections, we got a problem. There's no doubt about it. And I think it's great changes to the Olive Garden law. Let's go. But I mean, when 80% of or plus of of American citizens voting age want want voter ID, there's a reason that it should be passed. I mean, that's what we we have a representative government. They're supposed to represent our views. It's overwhelmingly an 8020 issue. There's no question about it. And the president's 100% right. It's only to cheat, and that's what what they wanted for. And and thank you for showing the the main Senate race. If Chris Farley was doing a Saturday skit, that's we'd play and just the same.

You know, you you could cast the movie about this platinum race. What do you make of Ashley with the really big Adams apple saying, "I'm a songwriter." A very deep voice. And these are the kind of candidates that the president of the United States last night said, "They're so pathetic. You need to cheat to make sure they can win." Well, I don't think Ashley is going to win either way, but I mean it it that is that is a Wow, that's quite an example. But that really is Chris Farley playing a Saturday Night Live gig. I mean that's it. Uh, even the laugh and the answers. I mean like literally that's a that's the funniest SNL skit I've seen in years right there. But it's the real thing. So it's terrifying. What are they doing?

Yes. You know, it's not supposed to be comedy, but it is comedy sometimes the mainstream media. So CNN and NBC News last night would not take the president's speech live on their main broadcast channels. Neither did ABC News. But what I found particularly amazing is they broke in later after the president spoke to claim he was lying. Watch.

We know he has made a series and slew of false claims about that election that he lost. But the president did spend quite a significant time talking about the 2020 election. Again, what the president presented tonight, it's complex. Our team is digging through these documents that the White House says they're now declassifying and making available to the American people. We're reading through it to fact check and understand more of what the president is presenting.

So, how do you fact check something before letting your viewers hear what was said? That's called group think, my friend. That is straight out of George Orwell. It's ridiculous. They are not our fact checkers. It's like when they wanted to have that uh that entire group, the the disinformation board. Uh, it's frightening. It's scary. It shouldn't be the case. We are, you know, thank God for Elon Musk and buying X and putting free speech out there so we can see these things ourselves and make the decisions. If if ABC and NBC and and CBS don't want or whoever ABC and CNN and if they don't want to carry the president's speech, go find it elsewhere and their ratings will continue to plummet.

Actor, director, and now podcast host Dean Kaine on The Big Take with Ed Henry. Catch the Big Take on Newsmax 5:00 p.m. Eastern. I said back at the open that we would go back to Wake Up America weekend edition with Kenzie and Kyle. This segment has gotten a lot of attention online, so I wanted to make sure to get it in. President Trump is getting his face on a new dollar coin set to be minted sometime this upcoming fall.

Yeah, our own Andrew Craft has more on the newest presidential collector's item.

He is the face of the MAGA movement and soon a gold coin. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant, he is making this $1 gold coin featuring President Trump a reality. Bessent believes the coin quote celebrates the strength of American values and the promise of a nation dedicated to preserving freedom for all. Take a look at the coin there. A spokesperson for the US Mint claims the coin will be released sometime later this fall. But will this be eventually a collectible coin that people need to get? Thankfully, we know a guy joining us right now, the host of the wildly popular show Pawn Stars and the podcast host of Pawn After Dark. You know him, Rick Harrison. Rick, uh, so good of you to be with us here. This is a really exciting topic. We appreciate your time. I got to ask you this though, Rick. This coin, it's going to help commemorate America's 250th anniversary. Between that, the connection to America 250, also with President Trump, do you think a lot of people will want it eventually? Is this going to sell like gang busters in your estimation?

Oh, I think it's going to sell great. By the way, it's not gold. It's gold tone. It's it's like 88% copper and some other metals in it. Um, no, but I think it'll I mean uh the largest coin dealer in the world for collectible coins is the US Met. Um, they come out with stuff all the time and I think this will be highly collectible just like there was but and every there's all this controversy like you know it's a living person on a coin. It's been done before. As a matter of fact, for the same exact purpose, um in 1926, the 150th anniversary of the United States, Calvin Kulage, who was president then, was on a coin. It was to celebrate the 150th anniversary. Um, and Maria, I think it was uh Maria El uh Schneider Kennedy, I forget. I mean, but like 20 years ago, she was on a special edition coin for the special Olympics. So, we have had living people on coins before, but I I think it's, you know, I think it'll sell like hotcakes. Um, you know, 50% of the population will like it, 50% will not.

I mean, that's always the case now in this in this partisan age. I mean, you had the most expensive coin in the world there on the show. Here you are in this photo. You see there holding it. So, you've seen a lot of these historical items, but but even you look impressed by this latest coin here. In that photo, though, that's the 1933 double eagle. Why is that coin so popular? I I know it's old, but that really has a special value, does it not?

Um, there's this crazy story with it where people they tried to arrest people. It got out of the bent when it wasn't supposed to get out of the bent and then it went all the way around the world and then there some paperwork was found and the US men eventually says, "Okay, we'll allow this one coin." So, if you're a gazillionaire coin collector, that's the only one. and your competition with the other gazillion or coin collectors say I got it you don't. That's why it's worth right around $30 billion.

So So Rick about the Eagle coin say what about the Trump coin? I mean 95 96 years from now could you see the Trump gold coin appreciating in value over time like the eagle?

Um, yeah. So what will most likely happen is the US Met will issue these. They'll come in a nice little case and everything like that and most collectors will immediately send them off to get graded. Um, you know, and the grading goes from basically 1 to 70 and um people are going to be hoping they get a perfect one. It comes back in a grade of 70 and um that's, you know, that doesn't happen very often. And if that, you know, you get one of those, I mean, I eventually I think it could do something. You know, you never because it's going to it's one of those things where you just don't have coin collectors buying it. You're going to have Trump fans buying it, too, which I think is really going to push the price up. If you get like the perfect ones, I think it's a great design coin. I like, you know, the real traditional um eagle on the back of it. You know, for people who doesn't know what that eagle means, it's uh holding an olive branch in one hand.

Yeah, it's very classic. I mean, I like it, too. Final thoughts. Arrows at a arrows at the other and the eagle is looking at the olive branch and not at the arrows which means pe try to do peace before you go to war. It represents trying to do peace before you go to war like peace through strength.

Pawn Stars host Rick Harrison always bringing some interesting stuff on the soontobe $1 Trump coin. Meanwhile, the president has a packed calendar today of policy meetings, executive order signing, and hosting the Little League Softball World Champions. And congratulations to Spain. They are now the FIFA Cup World Champions for only the second time after completely shutting down defending champion Argentina, who didn't even have a shot on goal until halfway through overtime. That is insane. We're really happy that it it did so well. And all over the world, people have uh come and they've loved our country.

And in North Carolina, my guy and actually President Trump's guy cuz he races for Pensky. Three-time NASCAR Cup champion Joey Logano dominated the Windows World 450 at North Wilsboro Speedway for the win and a whole bunch of muchneeded stage points. On Wall Street, the stock market started the new week in the green after a rough week last week. The Dow and the S&P were slightly higher, but the Nasdaq is up 275 points. Oil is up 20 cents at 82.69 per barrel this morning. Be sure to keep up with all of today's news and breaking developments on Newsmax N2 and at newsmax.com.
