ONLY PROTECTION FROM THE ANTICHRIST--Jesus Saves From The Beast's Mark, The Tribulation, & Despair

John Barnett Online Teaching7:13

says, "Uh-huh."

I said, "I what does that mean?"

I said, "I teach ancient the primary documents of the Christian faith."

And the barber said, "What does that mean?"

I said, "I teach the Bible."

Almost every time I say that, people go, "I have a question." Most people have this curiosity about the Bible. And they, if you look safe, you know, don't look like you're going to make embarrass them or something. They'll ask you, "I have a question about the Bible."

And I said, "What's your question?"

He said, "Well, do you think we're near the end of the world?"

I said, "I do."

And and so you know, she says, "Well, tell me what?" And I and I went right into this. I said, "Did you know there's only one way to escape the mark of the beast, and it's the only protection from Satan, and it's God's signature?" And you just stop. Well, what do you think they're going to say? What does that mean?

See, people, as long as you don't make fun of them or belittle them or whatever, they're so curious about God, uh, until they get convicted and then they don't want anything to do with it.

This, by the way, is one of many resources on our website, uh, that that we offer free of charge. I I love all these cards that uh uh that reduce down a message. Like I have a card on what you should pray for for you know what a Bible biblical godly husband is, what a biblical godly wife, what are the 12 characteristics of a Titus 2 man. What are the 12 characteristics of a Titus 2 woman? Here's another one. It's the signature of God. When we get saved, the signature of God is I am forgiven. He removed my debts. As it says in Ephesians 1, I'm justified. God changes my standing. I'm regenerated. I get that new heart Drew was talking about. Remember Ezekiel 36:26 and 27. I'm reconciled. God has become my friend. I'm adopted.

I actually have this taped right in the front of my Bible. This little I tape it right in the front by a picture of Bonnie. Um, do you know why? Do you remember that in Christ Alone him? When Satan tempts me to despair, that's what he wants to do to you guys. tempt you to despair and tells me of the guilt within. I already know I'm guilty and I know I sin. And when Satan points it out, what am I supposed to do? Upward I look and see him there who made an end of all my sin.

This these are the seven things that God does when he saves us. He forgives, justifies, regenerates, reconciles, adopts, redeems, and sanctifies us. I would just say you need to know that and preach the gospel to yourselves. And you can find those on the website.

And here we go with our last boom. Ah, now we're in this hour. Four minutes late. Hour 15. Look at that. Once you got saved, you and I have a singular calling to everywhere we go make disciples of Jesus Christ. What is a disciple of Jesus Christ? Someone who hears and understands the gospel. And Paul said, "I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ because it it the gospel is the power of God onto salvation." So we are gospel purveyors. That means we we go around serving, sharing, giving out the gospel.

Well, when you read like we're going to read in chapter 14, God calling something the eternal gospel, it should make our spiritual ears go up because we want to know. So that's what we're going to look at this hour, the eternal gospel. What is it? It's in the context. The eternal gospel is what God shares during this red block. During the worst time in human history, during the time when Satan, as we saw last hour, is confined to the earth. And every demon is confined to the earth. And when sin is running rampant, demons are five months giving excruciating pain. So everybody wants to commit suicide. That's what it means. They all want to end their own lives and they're they can't. So, it's the worst time in history. And during the worst time in history, God sends into that mess 144,000 little Paul's, two witnesses, perhaps the two greatest prophets, the Old Testament, or the Enoch and you know, Elijah, whoever it is. He sends them. But over all that, the gospel angel. So that's what we're going to see.

Now I put it this way. When you look at Revelation 14-6, lost humanity that believes in evolution and reveres the earth and denies creationism. So God sends his 144,000 listen to give everyone an opportunity to hear the gospel. Everybody. Everybody hears personally. That's what they do for the whole time. They they aren't killable. They just are sharing. They're little Apostle Paul's little gospel dynamos. And during the final divine environmental destructions, God the creator is systematically destroying the atmosphere. Remember, it's full of smoke. The oceans, they're dying. The land, everything is burning. There are earthquakes and smoke and fire and red tides. If you ever live in Florida, it stinks during red tide when everything starts dying by stages from that horrible, you know, uh, algae bloom and everything that happens. And there's global warming. It's getting hotter and hotter and volcanoes and tsunamis and asteroids and comets and meteors and Armageddon is chapter 16. That's tomorrow.

But in the midst of all that, number one, God wanted to tell the second generation church, no matter what you're going to face, even the level of the tribulation, but you're not going to be there. But even the level, Jesus is still all you need. And when you think, did you know the early church thought it was so bad, the persecution, they thought they were in the tribulation. That's what first and second Thessalonians are about. They get first Thessalonians and they are convinced that they've been left behind. And that's why Paul writes second Thessalonians and he says, "No, no, there's going to be the great falling away and the man of sin is going to be revealed and he's going to be sacrificing in the temple." No, you're not in the tribulation, but Jesus is all you need.
