The #1 Cause of Your Belly Fat Is NOT Carbs Or Sugar

Let's get right into this. I want to share some stats that are alarming.

According to the CDC and cancer.org, you can see on the screen here, one out of three women are diagnosed with cancer within their lifetime. Men, one in two. 60% of Americans are diabetic or pre-diabetic. Look at the stat all the way on the right. They're projecting that one in two children will be born on the autism spectrum by 2032.

Heart disease, number one killer in the US. One person dies from heart disease every 33 seconds. I've been on here for 5 minutes. We've had several people die already in the US from heart disease. About 695,000 people every year die from heart disease in just the US.

In the United States, we spend $4.6 trillion on health care every single year. If that was a GDP, it would be the fourth largest GDP in the entire world. So, that must mean we are a very healthy country, right? Got to be top five. 10? All right, top 20. 37 in the world.

Yet, pharmaceutical companies are richer than ever before and we are sicker than ever before. And get this, there are only two countries in the entire world that allow pharmaceutical companies to advertise on TV. Just two. New Zealand and the United States. Because nothing says healthy democracy like a TV commercial that starts out with "Hey, ask your doctor if this pill is right for you." It's as if their medical degree was sponsored by Pfizer or something.

And you've seen the commercials, they're absolutely ridiculous. Hey, do you suffer from giant head syndrome? >> [laughter] >> Is your head so big it's technically its own zip code? Try deflate-ics. The only pill strong enough to turn your head from Fred Flintstone to normal human proportions. Deflate-ics, finally a hat that fits. How about gas and bloating? Now, don't you dare change your diet. Try explode-ics. >> [laughter] >> Explode-ics works to instantly clear the room, the building, and possibly the county. Explode-ics, turning every bathroom break into a hazmat operation. >> [laughter] >> Guys, fellas, this is where it gets personal. Is your erectile dysfunction keeping you down? >> [laughter] >> Don't jump. Try Mount Everhard. The only prescription pill strong enough to turn your bedroom into a national park. Mount Everhard, your new safe word is avalanche.

But my favorite part of these TV commercials are the side effects. You've seen them. Side effects may include cancer, heart attack, emphysema, stroke, and sudden death. Those are not side effects. That's an obituary.

And we hear about obesity being a genetic problem. I don't know if you know this, but Harvard is saying in just about 4 years, 50% of the population here will be obese. Both children and adults are included in those stats. And we hear about obesity being a genetic issue. As a matter of fact, I'm going to share a clip with you. If you can put the slides back on from a representative who went on 60 Minutes a couple years ago making that case. Let's unpack this, see if she's correct. Check this out.

>> If you diet, you lose weight. Right?

>> The number one cause of obesity is genetics. That means if you were born to parents that have obesity, you have a 50 to 85% likelihood of having the disease yourself even with optimal diet, exercise, sleep management, stress management. So when people see families that have obesity, the assumption is, "What are they feeding those kids?"

>> Anybody agree with her? Let's say she's correct though. Let's adopt her premise that hey, it's just genetics. Well, that would mean that in the 1930s, for example, there was a good percentage of obesity. So let's go back and look at the 1930s and see, put the slides back up and see what it was like. Well, in the 1930s, obesity was 5% or less. Now it's 42%. It's about to be 50%. Our genetics do not change that fast. So obviously it's something that's changing our genetics called epigenetics. It's lifestyle.

I'm going to get to the part of the presentation later which I believe is the number one cause. You know, when we think about our health and we think about why we have symptoms, you know, we view symptoms as the problem. Brain fog, autoimmune, even being overweight is a symptom. It's not the cause. It's the symptom of the cause. But the number one cause of all of our symptoms is cellular inflammation. This is chronic low-grade inflammation that inflames our cells and blocks our hormones. All 600 plus of our hormones. So everything that I'm going to be teaching you here, everything you're going to learn this weekend from amazing speakers, it's all designed to lower cell inflammation. When you remove the interference by lowering inflammation, the body will heal itself.

And one of the things that I believe causes massive amounts of inflammation we'll discuss, but what I believe is the fastest way to lower inflammation, heal the body, turn on the brain, burn visceral fat is with fasting. I'm going to go through a timeline here and I haven't shared this before, only once recently in Saudi Arabia, where we're going to look at this animation on the screen. I'm going to show you what happens inside of your body hour by hour when you go without food for 100 hours, which is 4 days and 4 hours. But before I share that, how many of you have ever fasted 4 days or longer? Raise your hand. 5 days? 10? Wow. 15? Kiltz, how long? 15? You're the longest. You? >> 21. >> 21? Oh, yeah, 42. Longer than that? Anybody? Okay. Pretty impressive.

Now, let's go through the timeline then I'll explain a little bit some precautions here and who should not do it, who should do it. So, check this out. The first 14 hours, you're going to notice two benefits. Number one, you're completing digestion. So, it takes about 14 hours to take that food and digest it and that's important because it takes a lot of energy to digest food. We got Thanksgiving coming up. We got the holidays coming up. We're going to feast. And the last time you feasted, if you remember, was your first immediate thought, "I am so energized and focused, let's go get some work done?" The opposite. You want to turn into a couch potato. Let's turn on the game, right? Cuz it takes a lot of energy. So, there's a process called energy diversion, where the energy that would have been used for digestion is now complete at the 14-hour mark. So, that energy is now being diverted to the brain and to other areas of your body for healing. That's the first benefit at the 14-hour mark. Pretty basic.

Another benefit at the 14-hour mark is that insulin becomes more sensitive. The beta cells in the pancreas become more sensitive. So, at the 14-hour mark, you're starting to burn through your sugar reserves, your glycogen stores in your liver and muscle cells. And insulin is starting to lower, especially at that 14-hour mark. And as you go through this fast, hour by hour, insulin begins to lower more and more. So, that happens at the 14-hour mark.

At the 17-hour mark, you have a process that you've most of you have heard of called autophagy, where cells that are damaged and inflamed now go through this cleaning up process. And it's kind of like Pac-Man going within your cells, eating the junk. Cells that are inflamed, mitochondria that are inflamed. The analogy that I always give, and I wrote about this in Metabolic Freedom, is a refrigerator. Think about your refrigerator at home. You open it up, you have all these groceries. They have an expiration date. Should all the groceries inside of your refrigerator expire and just leave them there and buy new groceries and put them in front of the old expired groceries, that's going to be a toxic environment. Disease will manifest in that environment. I think you would all agree. The human body is like that refrigerator. You have cells, mitochondria, proteins, and bacteria that all have an expiration date. So, at the 17-hour mark of a fast, we start to ramp up this autophagy process to start clearing out the junk, getting rid of those expired cells. And as you go throughout the fast, you get more of this autophagy.

24 hours in, you see the digestive lining start to improve. Stem cells are being produced in the intestinal lining. You have this brushing occurring in your intestinal lining. That's helping with things like leaky gut, autoimmune conditions. So, if you struggle with acid reflux, gas, bloating, autoimmune conditions, you really benefit at the 24-hour mark of this fast.

Then as we go into 30 hours, there's a surge of something in your brain called BDNF, brain-derived neurotrophic factor. And what that is, it helps your neurons fire more efficiently. So, you get this mental clarity. You get this focus. And the reason why it happens is because your body thinks you're going through a famine. Let me pump you full of energy and focus so you go out there and hunt and kill. But you're not going to do that. You're going to use that to crush your day. So, at that 30-hour mark, you're going to notice intense focus and clarity.

36 hours in, you start to really crush some fat cells because you've burned through your sugar reserves. Insulin is low and your body starts producing ketones. The liver starts producing ketones as you use fat for fuel. And that's important because as you all know, ketones are anti-inflammatory, upregulate glutathione, it helps with the brain, helps you lose weight. So, there's a lot of fat being burned, melted if you will, at that 36-hour mark of the fast.

As we continue, 48 hours into the fast. Before I play this, I want to share something. A lot of us struggle with something called dopamine resistance. Like insulin resistance, we have constant dopamine hits from high palatable foods, social media, bad behaviors. And now we want more dopamine hits to feel the same way. We are less happy. We are experiencing more depression, more mood swings. So, at the 48-hour mark of a fast, it's been shown that your D2 receptor sites completely reset. It's like hitting a reset button where you actually experience more joy, more happiness. You need less of those dopamine hits to feel your old self. Pretty cool, 48 hours in.

We're not done. 72 hours in. Dr. Valter Longo, UC Davis, has shown research that your immune system entirely regenerates itself through this autophagy process. So, you have these senescent zombie cells, if you will, that are being destroyed and used for fuel. 72 hours in, which brings us to 4 days and 4 hours, 100 hours in. You have stem cells that are being produced, and those stem cells are really vital because God built your body to be self-healing. So, those stem cells will be used for the heart, for the lungs, for the brain, any area that needs healing or injuries, and you completely transform your health. It's one of the greatest things you can do for your health is a 100-hour fast responsibly at least once a year.

Now, most of you have done keto, low-carb, carnivore, which is a great thing to do before you do a long fast like this. I would not recommend doing a long fast like this if somebody is already burning sugar, eating every 2 to 3 hours. You kind of work your way up, and you build it like a muscle. Chapter eight of Metabolic Freedom dives deep into doing fasting the right way. But, I wanted to show you a timeline. So, it's good maintenance to do something like this for once a year, a 100-hour fast, once a quarter. Dr. Kilts might do it a little bit more often, but he's very metabolically healthy.

One of the things that I believe creates massive amounts of inflammation, and we'll have other speakers talk about this, like the brilliant Dr. Cate Shanahan tomorrow, is seed oils. And I'll let her go deeper into it than I will today. But, as you can see here, the global production of these seed oils in the early 1900s to 2019 dramatically increased. And I wrote about this on page 85 of Metabolic Freedom. We'll read this together. Dietary fatty acids incorporate into your cell membranes within hours after consuming them through a process called lipid membrane reorganization. So, you are what you eat, and it actually happens a lot faster than you think. When you eat these bad fats, they automatically go into your cell membranes, mitochondria membranes, and you might think, "I can remove them through detoxification measures in days or weeks." Well, they stay in your cells for years. The half-life of these fats is 680 days. Meaning, if you stop eating them today, 2 years later, half of them will still be in your body creating inflammation. And then it takes about 6 years for 95% of them to get removed.

This study looked at french fries cooked in seed oils, and they measured Dr. Martin Grootveld measured the aldehyde content from those french fries. Aldehydes are what is carcinogenic, cancer-causing, and it showed essentially 20 to 25 french fries cooked in seed oils is equivalent to 20 to 25 tobacco cigarettes smoked. One french fry, one tobacco cigarette smoked.

This is the list. On the left here are the inflammatory ones. Canola, called rapeseed oil in the UK, corn, soybean, cottonseed, safflower, peanut if it's refined, sunflower, grapeseed, rice bran. You're all thinking, "Why is fish oil on there?" It's not a seed oil, but it's also unstable and inflammatory in most cases. On the right, you have saturated fats, monounsaturated fats. Those are safer. The animal fats are better to cook with. That's going to be butter and ghee, duck fat, lard, beef tallow, even coconut oil is great to cook with. And then real olive oil and avocado oil is great for salad dressings and dips.

When I was a kid, as I mentioned or you saw my video earlier, I was obese. Not chunky and husky. Not big-boned. No. I was fat. And guess where my mom worked? Kentucky Fried Chicken. Can't make this up. That's like a cocaine addict's mother working for the Colombian drug cartel. >> [laughter] >> Not good. Everyday she would come home after work and I would hear her, and I would say, "Here comes the Colonel." She'd hand over a bucket of fried chicken, and I would just devour the fried chicken. It was like a feeding frenzy. But, sometimes she would come home without anything. And those were dark, dark days. And I'd say to my mom, "What the heck? Where's my chicken?" And she would say, "Ben, you don't get it. They're still frying in the same oil." And I'm like, "So what? Where's the chicken?" And she said, "No, it's been 14 days. The oil's supposed to be crystal clear. This oil is pitch black. It looks like motor oil." And I'm like, "So what? Where's the damn chicken?"

I share this because when you go to restaurants, most of them use seed oils. They re-fry in it over and over and over. So, you have in front of you this card, right? Everybody has this. Raise your hand. You have this? Yeah. I wanted to make sure I got this to you because I use this every time I go to restaurants. And on here is your seed oil allergy card. You want to use this at events. I know this is being recorded. So, if you're watching on any other live streaming or YouTube or if you go to seedoilcard.com, you can download this for free. But, for those of you here, you got this, and you can use this. So, that is my gift to you. I have some other gifts which we'll talk about. But, you just don't know. So, it's important to let them know you're allergic.

Today, right after the keynote, 10:40 a.m. to 12:10 p.m., I'm giving, we're giving away 158 signed copies of Metabolic Freedom at the networking lounge. First come, first serve. So, it's at 10:40, and we have the books. I will sign all of those for you. I just wanted to remind you of that. As we transition here to my favorite part of the keynote is chapter 10 of Metabolic Freedom. How many of you have read or listened to chapter 10 of Metabolic Freedom? Okay. Favorite chapter in the book. It's how your thoughts influence your health, influence metabolism. Your thoughts literally communicate with your DNA, with your cells. Dr. Bruce Lipton has proven this. Meaning a single thought is a frequency that penetrates your cell membranes and tells your DNA to perform a specific job. If it's a hateful thought, angry thought, bitter thought, resentful thought, the signal sent to your DNA nucleus is going to tell your cells to produce inflammatory proteins and cytokines. It shortens your telomeres and damages your DNA, essentially shortens your lifespan. With a single thought. But if it's a loving thought, a grateful thought, an abundant thought, a happy thought, a healing thought, same signal sent, now the cells are going to produce anti-inflammatory proteins. Your telomeres are protected, you extend your lifespan. With a single thought. And guess what, you have 60,000 thoughts every single day. Dr. Kilts might have 100,000 thoughts every single day. He's a brilliant man. And they estimate that 90% of your thoughts that you will have today are the same thoughts from yesterday. And 85% of those thoughts are negative thoughts. What Zig Ziglar used to call stinking thinking. And I say if your thinking is thinking, your health is shrinking. And if those thoughts communicate with your DNA nucleus, and you have 60,000 thoughts per day, the greatest biohack you could ever learn and implement is this right here. You have 60,000 opportunities to put your body in an anti-inflammatory healing state every single day.

However, just because you have thoughts, doesn't mean you're thinking. You can see mental activity, which are thoughts, is not the same thing as thinking. So, let me ask you this. How many of you talk to yourself every day? Raise your hand. Keep it up. Keep it up. Keep it up. Okay, you can drop it. Most of you raised your hand. There were a few of you back there. You didn't raise your hand. You were thinking, "I don't think I talk to myself. Do I talk? Oh, yeah. He's right. I'm doing it right now." But are you thinking?

Some of you have done this with me before. Some of you have not. Who has no idea what this means? Raise your hand. Good. I'm really excited to get you here. So, on here you see the word silk. No tricks being played here. Silk. We're going to say this word out loud five times in a row. Silk, silk, silk, silk, silk. Five times in a row. You're going to say it out loud with me. As soon as we do that, I'm going to ask you a quick question and you're going to answer out loud as fast as possible. Clear? Make sense? >> Yes. >> Yes, Natassia says yes. My fiance. All right, on the count of three. Silk five times in a row. I ask you a question, you answer. 1 2 3. Silk, silk, silk, silk, silk. What do cows drink? If you said milk, raise your hand. Look around. Look around. But keep it up. Keep it up. Look around. All right. Cows produce milk. They drink water. And for those of you who are thinking, "But what about baby cows?" I didn't say baby cows. I heard that one before. No, I didn't say baby cows.

Look, a silly example to show you we're just kind of going through the motions. We're not actually thinking. But when we actually stop and think, we can change our lives, our relationships, our income, everything. I'll show you how to do this, but um George Bernard Shaw said it best. He said, "2% of the population think, 3% of the population, they think they think, and 95% of people would rather die than think." Nailed it. But you got to be aware because you cannot escape a prison if you don't know you're in one. A lot of us are in a mental prison with our toxic thoughts, and the door is wide open, unlocked. We could walk right out.

And I'll give you a study to back this up because I know some of this for the left-brainers out. How many of you are left-brain analytical? Yeah, raise your hand analytical. Yeah, you're like, "Okay, show me the science, Ben." Show you the science. Ellen Langer, Harvard psychologist, 1981, did an amazing study. She had her graduate students design an entire building to make it look like it was 22 years prior, 1959. She had eight men live there for just five days, and she told them, "I want you to think and act as if you were 22 years younger. We're not going to give you any assistance. You're going to talk about period-appropriate items from the 1950s. Pretend like you're 22 years younger." At the end of the study, the men showed improvements in eyesight, memory, dexterity, and appetite. Those who needed canes walked without them, and all participants displayed increased independence and vitality. Pretty cool.

Your environment determines your thoughts. Your thoughts determine your belief system, your habits, your results, and ultimately your destiny. So, it starts with your environment. That's why this environment is so important. Let me show you an example of what I mean. Neville Goddard said, "We are only limited by weakness of attention and poverty of imagination." This is weakness of attention, what's happening in our environment. I'm going to show you an example here. You're going to pay close attention. You're going to follow the instructions in this video. It's a very short video. Check it out.

>> This is a test of selective attention. Count how many times the players wearing white pass the basketball. How many pass?

>> Count. 15? 14?

>> The correct answer is 15 passes.

>> But

>> But did you see the gorilla?

>> Yes.

>> Who did not see the gorilla? The gorilla was there the whole time. I see the hands. Entire time it was there.

>> Did you use search by Daniel Simons and Christopher

>> Thank you, Lisa.

>> [laughter]

It's I show you that, and by the way, I didn't see the gorilla the first time I watched this. I show you that because we're being distracted. Weakness of attention, poverty of imagination, and I think it's so important to stop following the crowd, start following your purpose, which brings me to what I believe is the number one cause of obesity, not sugar, not carbs, but this. In the absence of clearly defined goals, we become strangely loyal to performing daily trivia until ultimately we become enslaved by daily trivia. Food addiction, drug addiction, toxic relationships when we don't have clear goals. This is my life for 24 years. And I believe this, the number one cause of obesity is not sugar, not carbs, not eating too much or eating or exercising too little. It's lack of purpose. We don't have an obesity crisis because of what people are eating. We have an obesity crisis because of what's eating people. In other words, they're not tired, they're uninspired.

When we are clear on our goals and our purpose, Hey coach John. When we are clear on our goals and our purpose, we become unstoppable. You have all the energy and all the vitality. I was obese for 20 plus years because I lacked that. I had addictions because I lacked that. And Earl Nightingale said it best. He said, "Most people they tiptoe their way through life just hoping to land safely on death's door." But he had also the greatest definition of success that I've ever heard. He said it in the 1950s, it's even better to this day. He said, "Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal." An ideal is a goal that you have fallen in love with. And that goal is different for every single person. And as long as you're closing the gap between where you are right now and that goal you have fallen in love with, you are a successful person every single day. As long as you make progress towards that.

TikTok sometimes gives you some good stuff. I want you to watch this. And we're making the case here that goal setting is the answer to longevity. Check this out.

>> I'm happy because I did I'm doing what I want to do and because I have my own work. I stay happy by being involved

>> [music]

>> with my projects.

>> So, for someone who wants to be happy, what advice would you give them?

>> I would tell them to find something

>> [music]

>> that interests them. I should have regrets, but I really don't think I do because I have what I want in my life.

>> [music]

>> I have my work.

>> May I ask how old you are?

>> I'm 93 going on 94.

>> Wow, I thought you were like Lady Gaga. Clap, right? She says I have my work. She has her purpose.

Okay, left brain. Let's go to the science here. What does the research show? Same Harvard psychologist Ellen Langer. This is a study that was really interesting. She had two groups of nursing home residents. One group was given a house plant, but they were told it's not your responsibility or goal to take care of this house plant. The staff will take care of the house plant. Also, your schedule, you don't have control over your schedule. We will control your schedule. The other group of nursing home residents were also given a house plant, but they said it's your goal and responsibility to take care of the house plant and you have full autonomy control over your schedule. So, what happened to these two groups? After 18 months, twice as many people in the group given the small goal of taking care of their house plant was alive compared to the group who were not given autonomy over their schedule or not given a goal. Pretty cool.

So, there's three different ways to set a goal. Bob Proctor. How many of you know Bob Proctor? The goat. Yes, Alyssa. >> Yeah. >> Bob Proctor is the goat of self-development. He has his ABCs of goal setting and you have a card in front of you. We're going to unpack what this means. There's A-type goals, there's B-type goals, there's C-type goals. An A-type goal is something that you already know how to do. Give you an example. You drive a 2020 Toyota Corolla and you want to buy a 2025 Toyota Corolla. Doesn't mean you shouldn't get the car, but it's not really exciting. You've got the car before. Or you want a raise at your job. You've gotten a 2% raise before. Your goal is to get a 2% raise this year. Doesn't mean you don't get that raise. It's just not exciting. A B-type goal is a goal that does stretch you a little bit, takes you out of your comfort zone a little bit, but you can kind of think about how to accomplish it. So, instead of a 2% raise, you want a 5% raise and you know if you do this job the right way, your boss will see it and you'll get that raise. You can kind of put it together in your mind. It's a little bit better than an A-type, but not what we want.

What we want is a C-type goal. A C-type goal is a goal that excites you and scares you at the same time. It lights you up. It drives you forward. And here's the thing about a C-type goal. It's not rational. It's not logical. And you have no idea how you're going to do it, but you really, really want it. As I say that, how many of you have a C-type goal that comes to mind? Raise your hand. Oh, the white shirt. You raised your hand. Both hands. Can you just shout out what it is? Oh, is there a mic here? Okay, sorry. Go ahead. Go ahead. >> I want to open a wellness studio. >> You want to open up a wellness studio. Do you Yeah. What's your name? >> My name is Renita Collier. >> Will say it again? >> My name is Renita and I'm from Raleigh, North Carolina. >> Renita from Raleigh, North Carolina. You want to open up a wellness studio in North Carolina? Do you know how you're going to do that? >> I have no idea. >> Does it scare you and excite you? >> Hell yeah. >> Let's go, Renita. Give her a big clap. That's a C-type goal. Anybody else want to share their C-type goal? Lisa Oakes. Being the pickleball champion of the world, let me guess. Number one pickleball player. Stand up. Stand up. >> I'm going to be a senior pro pickleball player. >> Okay, senior pro pickleball player. Yes, you are. Do you know how you know how you're going to do that? >> Yes. >> Oh, that's not a C-type goal, then. >> [laughter] >> I didn't know when I set >> Okay. So, you That's a good point. When she said it, it was a C-type goal, and she turned it into a B-type goal. That's actually how it works. I love it, Lisa. Yeah, that's great. Give her another clap.

So, in front of you, you have something that will change your life. You have a goal card. This has changed my life. Do you Everybody have this, correct? You have a plastic sleeve for this. If you don't, there's more back there. On this goal card, you want to write down that C-type goal. You want to let yourself dream and write it down and write it in the present tense. So, I'll give you a quick example. This year, I set a goal um actually, at the end of last year, my C-type goal that I set was to be a New York Times best-selling author. Never did it. Had no idea how I was going to do it. Wrote it down. Read it every single day. Every single day. Just kept reading it and reading it and reading it. And then I acted as if. So, you act as if you're a pickleball pro. You act as if you have that clinic. You act as if you are that person. So, I was acting as if I'm a New York Times best-selling author. What do I mean by that? A month before my book came out, I was recording content with my videographer in Miami, and I said, "Let's record a video celebrating hitting the New York Times list. Go edit it. Let's get it scheduled. We'll release it the day the list comes out." A week before, I was in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, with Dr. Kilz, Dr. Avanti, and a few others here, Zane. And there was a documentary for the carnivore diet and they were interviewing me and they said, they mic me up, whole production, hit record, Ben Azadi, yourself. My name is Ben Azadi, I'm the New York Times best-selling author of Metabolic Freedom. Look, this is a week before the book came out. The book came out. What if I didn't hit the list? I have to email them, "Hey, could you edit that part out?" But I was acting as if. A week later, C-type goal accomplished, we hit the list, the New York Times list. >> [cheering] >> I say that, I show this and share this not to impress you but to impress upon you. Let yourself dream, write it down present tense, read it and watch it really do to change your life. You have that in front of you, okay?

I have to shift this. I haven't shared this before. My fiance, Natassia, she's from Brazil. She's right here. She's beautiful, she's smart, she's amazing. But >> [laughter] >> we get into these fights all the time. She just can't believe my bedtime routine. >> [laughter] >> She says, Ben, your nighttime routine isn't a routine, it's a NASA launch sequence. Most people brush their teeth, but by the time you're done, mission control is like, "We have lift off." I don't think it's that crazy. I mean, here's what I do. I mouth tape to make sure I breathe through my nose. I mask, ear plugs, the cooling mattress setting is on igloo. And then I have a weighted blanket on top and then like four pillows in formation. Natassia says it looks like I'm prepping for a medieval joust. She says, Ben, it's not like you fall asleep, you re-enter Earth's atmosphere. Why can't you be like a normal person? You're so weird. >> [laughter] >> Have you ever heard of the TV show Dateline where they do like reenactments of like real crimes? Well, she says if Dateline walked in on me, they wouldn't need any B-roll. I am the reenactment. You know, she takes photos of me every night. I don't get it. It's like she's collecting evidence for the FBI. >> [laughter] >> So, other couples sex, she sends me hostage photos. She says, "There you are, Ben." Covered, sealed, plugged, pressed under a blanket like a Panera panini. I guess she's partly right. There's nothing really sexy about whispering through duct tape. Good night. Good night, honey. Don't hate me because I'm beautiful. That's our romance. Other couples send nudes, she sends a file of evidence called red flags red flags I ignored. >> [laughter] >> I call it rest, she calls it natural birth control. I've overtime here. I'm going to wrap it up. I can't share the end here. I actually went longer, but vitamin G is the strongest vitamin in the world. 1,200 chemical reactions studies show that heals the body, heals the brain, lowers blood pressure, lowers A1C, helps with the mitochondria. Um where can you get What's vitamin G? It's gratitude. It's the feeling of gratitude, not the practice of gratitude. Um >> [snorts] >> and I can't show this to you because we're out of time, but I want to share one last message with you. I want to make sure we don't make the other speakers late. I want you to raise your right hand. This is not a trick, I promise. Raise your right hand. Put it over your right ear. And please keep it there as I just share this final message. Your body was built to be self-healing. God has designed your body to be self-healing. There's nothing really external that you need. It's all internal. It's about removing the interference and letting your body heal. You are a masterpiece because you're a piece of the master. Put your hand down. Amen. What was up with that? I didn't want it to go in one ear out the other ear. Keep it there. I've got vitamin G for you. Thank you. Love you. Book signing at 10:40 a.m. Thank you so much. Thank you so very much. Thank you, Dr. Kelly.

We think about heart disease, number one killer in the United States. One person dies from heart disease every 33 seconds. And in the US, we spend $4.6 trillion dollars on health care every single year. We spend that much, we must be a very healthy country, right? Top five? Got to be top 10.
