[Music] The Buddha taught that true happiness arises from within and is not dependent on external conditions.
The four Noble Truths summarize the essence of human existence and the path to Nirvana. Everything within and around us is constantly changing. Nothing lasts forever. Not even love or Happiness.
Dukkha is a fundamental aspect of our existence. It refers to our experience with impermanence and inability to fully satisfy our desires. Dukkha arises from our cravings and attachment to things that are impermanent, because we do not understand the true nature of reality. We can end dukkha by freeing ourselves from delusion and ignorance.
The eightfold path is a comprehensive guide to our own awakening and freedom from the dukkha of samsaric life, by living ethically, training our mind through meditation, and developing wisdom to see things as they are.
