9 things i did to change my appearance (brutally honest)

I didn't go from looking like this to this overnight. I literally changed my face intentionally. And I'm going to tell you the truth about how I got to this point.

Literally, go and look at my videos from over a year ago and tell me my face didn't change. It did drastically. A lot of you guys have been asking me, leaving comments being like, "May you keep glowing up in every video. How is that possible?"

To me, not knowing how to improve is never an excuse when you are fully capable of learning how to help yourself. Which is why you're here today. Whatever you want is all possible. So, I'm going to be brutally honest about what worked, what didn't work, and how I actually got here. If you don't want any change at all, I love that for you, but I did, and I'm happy about it.

So, if you're new here, welcome. My name is May, and my channel is all about self transformation, whether that's physical, mental, emotional, spiritual. I am literally the glow-up diva queen because I feel like I walk the walk and I am living that life. So changing your appearance is one thing, but in the process of my own physical glow up, I also truly became the person that I felt like I was always meant to become in the process beyond just working on the face card. Finding beauty is important, but we really do it to honor ourselves, and that's a very, very powerful thing. So let's get into it.

So I caught a first step, the R&D phase, research and development. When I first started researching my glow up, I had no idea how much I didn't know because you only know what you know, right? There are literally so many things that you can do to change your face. Hundreds of techniques, whether that's lymphatic drainage, massage, skincare products, procedures like laser or getting your lashes lifted, your brows laminated, injectables, cosmetic surgery, so many things you can do. It depends on your specific goals. Now, listen, I do not condone everything. I'm just telling you that these are things that you can do. I have made quite a few videos on how to glow up as well as my honest thoughts on cosmetic procedures like Botox, surgery, and so on. And during this process, I went down the deepest rabbit holes possible known to mankind or girlkind. And there's just so much more research I can do on how to look better.

So, if you're willing to do whatever it takes and there are a lot of things that you can do, okay, I'm just being so real with you because a lot of people are lying about what they've done or they just tell you like, "Oh, just drink some lemon water in the morning and you will glow up." Please, it takes conscious effort and dedication and upkeep to keep looking good. And there are also pros and cons to every method. Some are temporary, some are permanent. And the more invasive a method is, the more intense and energy and time consuming that things are going to get for you. So, this is a very important question that you're going to have to ask yourself. What would it take for me to achieve the look that I want and to what extent am I willing to get it?

What ultimately changed me the most was understanding that achieving beauty isn't just about luck or genetics. Genetics only play a part to a certain extent. The rest of it is truly your level of self-awareness and focus and knowing what is possible for you through research, through learning about psychology, even a bit of math and science and engineering and technology because I am literally a woman in STEM and aren't we all? And I make videos like this all the time. So if you want to glow up straight up, you can just subscribe to my channel and that's your shortcut. But anyway, once you learn why certain things look harmonious and balanced, that's when you stop chasing the random aesthetic Tik Tok trends and start crafting a look that actually works for you as an individual instead of trying to look like, I don't know, deer pretty or bear pretty or whatever it's out there. That's my other advice. Don't chase after trends because in 2 years time you're going to look back and cringe. Okay.

So now that you've done your research, now it's time for development. And this is how you can get strategic. I got rid of everything and everyone that wasn't good for me. Whether that's skincare products that made me break out, that lifestyle habit. And deep down in your heart, you know what's bad and what's good for you. You have to answer that for yourself. And especially relationships in my life that drained me for the worst. I literally just manifested for anything that wasn't in my highest good to leave my life. And when something didn't leave quickly enough, I took that as a lesson learned. So, I still gain from it.

The truth is, nothing changes your face for the worse faster than poor stress management. So when you can cut out the things that don't serve you, your facial features are going to start softening and beautifying itself. You're going to look much more relaxed because you are relaxed. Your muscles are going to relax. Your skin's going to start to clear because mentally you're also healing when you start fighting yourself so much and that reflects outwards.

So now let's talk about the filters. Not face filters. I'm going to get to that later, but the mindset filters that I pull out from my glow up. And this matters so much. Hear me out. I literally morph into a different person because of this. Instead of obsessing over very tiny details on my face that I personally didn't like, I started focusing on things that are way more tangible, like reshaping my self-concept, breaking it all the way down to things about my face that I can accept and the things that I cannot.

So, let's get into self-love really quickly. Okay, I don't believe that anyone has to unconditionally love every single part of themselves, no matter what. You can still glow up by changing what you want to improve and practice self-acceptance at the same time. This is not a black and white thing. Both things can be true at the same time. Like for example, I would like to have longer legs and be taller, but even if there's a completely painless surgical method someday where I don't have to break my bones to grow 2 in, I'm still not going to do it because I don't see my height or my legs as a categorical flaw. It's fine. But the things that I did change, it actually now makes me obsessed with the way that I look. I would not feel that way about myself if I didn't feel good about myself.

But self-love also goes way beyond that. I also love the confidence I get from putting in effort. I get to live with myself knowing that I did my best, but if I failed, at least I tried. No regrets. Having critical thinking and self-awareness is also self-love. You have full control and autonomy over your life. You get to think for yourself. If you don't want to glow up, then don't get one. But if you're putting your own fate into your own hands, that level of confidence that you can gain from that will physically reshape you. Literally, you're going to carry yourself and your face and your body very, very differently when you feel safe enough to do that. You're going to smell differently. You speak differently. You're going to show up differently. Your posture is better. Your mental health literally changes your physical look.

And again, I'm going to be honest with you, and I'm so sorry to people who are struggling because I understand when I was depressed, I had no energy to do anything at all to even like get out of bed or wash my face and drink enough water. I ended up looking pretty bad. I looked like I was neglecting myself because I was. When you want change for yourself, it's either because you want it or because you're forced into it. and it's always better for you to have a choice. So, my desire to ultimately have a better quality of life actually outweighed my depression and I had to save myself from that. I know it sounds so cliche, but mindset is truly the foundation of everything. Your beliefs are like magic because I know some really pretty people who have no self-esteem and it literally shrinks them up. If they can't even see their own beauty, then it makes it harder for other people to do the same thing. So if you want to be objective about it and believe that there are better ways where you can look and feel better, then you're going to start to do the things that will make that reality possible for you because you believe that it's possible. On the other hand, if you don't believe that it's possible, then you're not going to be doing any of these things.

For me, losing 40 lbs has changed my face so much. And this may be the case for a lot of people, especially if you have a lot of weight that you can lose before you get to the healthy range. So currently, I'm at about 105 lbs. And this is a normal BMI for my height. I'm at a healthy range, lower end, but I am healthy. And I've never felt better in my life because when I was inflamed and not sleeping enough and eating a bunch of junk food, not only was I incredibly unhappy with my body and the way that I was treating it, I also looked bloated and had so many breakouts. No matter what skincare I used, no matter what kind of glow up hacks I did, nothing mattered. So, I ended up wasting a lot of time and money because the foundation simply wasn't there. And the weight loss part which I eventually maintained was a result of building that foundation through treating my body with a lot of respect for the first time in my life. Better sleep, better stress management, better food, drinking a ton of water. It's really that simple. My face just lean out naturally as a result of that.

Even when I used to have a terrible relationship with food and poor mental health in the past, I still had never been able to achieve this type of glow up. So, I kept gaining and losing weight over and over again. I ended up heavier than ever. But I also can't get into details about this anymore because YouTube literally restricted a bunch of my videos on how to heal yourself from a bad food relationship, which really sucks because there are content creators out there who are promoting some very sketchy body advice that you only see on Tumblr or Twitter. And I'm not going to go into specifics, but that type of poor eating habits ultimately didn't do me any favors. But the new mindset and treating my body well part definitely changed my life. If you're curious about my healthy 40 lb weight loss, I have more videos about that topic.

So, back when I used to look the way that I did years ago, my skincare routine was massive. It was maybe like 10 to 15 products at some point, and I would use them all in the same routine. This included using all kinds of serums, toners, elixirs, and none of them did any favors to me because my approach was not correct. I was overloading too many chemicals on my face and I stopped doing that when I eventually went to dermatologist and the doctor just told me to eliminate every single product and just wash my face with water and gentle soap. Slowly over time, my skin was able to recover from that and I began to abandon that 10 to 12 step routine and that mentality. Instead, I focus on protecting my skin barrier as well as encouraging cellular regrowth. And when you overdo anything or overexfoliate or strip your skin off with natural oils or use too many active ingredients, too many chemicals, too many products, you're going to look tired and inflamed and red all the time. Your skin is probably going to be very sensitive. So, focusing on barrier repair and hydration and regrowth helped a ton. And there's a lot of science behind that as well where your stratum corneum, your barrier, slows visible aging because your skin holds and maintains moisture better and it becomes less sensitive and volatile because you're not exposing it to so much of everything.

Even though less is more, I still do have a skincare routine that I do pretty religiously. It's not extremely complicated, but very evidence-based. I also have a bit of a hoarding habit with skincare products because I love experimenting, but I don't put it all on my face at once. Instead, I rotate them and use them consistently until one bottle runs out and then I try another thing. But the core ingredients all stay the same. And if I like something, I stick to it. And I stick to what has been proven to work, which is hyaluronic acid, centella asiatica or cica, panthenol, which is something that you can find in Aquaphor. And the actives that I use are mainly tretinoin about once to twice a week at night, and vitamin C during the day in the mornings, also about once to twice a week. I've done a lot of research into these ingredients myself, reading scientific journals, and I don't use actives in the same routine or scrub my face with a towel or with any sort of face cleaning sponges or brushes. If anything, I just gently pat with my facial towel afterwards because scrubbing is the fastest way to destroy your skin barrier. You don't want your face to look like Swiss cheese under a microscope, but instead you want it to look like marble.

So, as for where I get my products from, I get them from YesStyle, which is the sponsor of this video. They're the largest online beauty retailer in Asia. And with K beauty, for example, they get their products directly from manufacturers. So, you're not dealing with potentially counterfeit skincare from Amazon and other sites like this. And that's a very real issue. I don't want to use fake products on my skin and neither do you, I hope. So, here are some of my favorite products. The first one is Centella Calming Gel Cream by this brand called iUnik. It's really calming if your skin is prone to breakouts. It helps rebuild your skin barrier. It's a really lovely serum for layering. I also use the COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. It's made of mostly snail secretion filtrate, snail mucin, so it really locks in the moisture on your face. if you don't mind the snail part. I like to use this in combination with this and my skin just eats it up. It absorbs it so quickly. And then for my morning routines, I finish it off with my Madagascar Hyalu-Cica Water Fit Sun Serum. It's got 50 SPF and hyaluronic acid and Centella Asiatica. This is my daily sunscreen for the face. I put this on every day. I always have it on. It's really cosmetically elegant, I would call it. And when I use this, I sometimes skip using the iUnik Centella and save that for my night routine instead because there's repeat ingredients. And then the last sunscreen that I use is for my body is the Derma:B Everyday Sunblock 50 SPF. You can use this for both your face and body by the way, but I like to use this one for my body. It lasts a really long time. It's also a larger size than typical K beauty sunscreen bottles. And the price is great. I'm telling you, these products are constantly on rotation for me. I'm literally so obsessed with them to the point where I can't run out of them. So, I always buy multiples. Literally, I have doubles of all of these products because I don't want to run out. Love them. So, if you're interested in trying these products out, I highly recommend it. I'm on at least the third or fourth bottles for some of these. I just started using this one, but already I'm on to my second bottle cuz I just had to have more. I have my product links below as well in my video description if you want to buy them from YesStyle and support my channel. Starting from November 4th, they're having a sale and it's going to last for four full weeks. These products I'm mentioning today are the best sellers and they have a hundred of these up to 50% off and then they have a mega sale week between November 24th and December 1st where they'll have over 30 Korean beauty brands on sale.

You know, when I first started using makeup, I didn't really know what I was doing. So, I was following different beauty gurus on YouTube and ended up copying trends that had nothing to do with my face. I was contouring really harshly. I was using the wrong colors. And I had no idea why it didn't look good. I thought I just wasn't good at makeup or that I was ugly. But eventually, what I realized was I was following formulas that weren't for me. So, once I learned facial harmony techniques, that's when I started getting better at makeup. It's all about adjusting your proportions, making your lips bigger or more even, knowing how to flatter the shape of your eyes, your blush placement can even lengthen or shorten your face. I know that scientifically symmetry can be considered beautiful. But I also find a lot of beauty in asymmetry as well. In fact, a lot of gorgeous people out there have very asymmetrical faces. I especially have a very asymmetrical face. And you will know that if you have one side that you like better than the other when you take a selfie.

When you start to study your own face and really get to know yourself, you will start to notice what makes you unique from other people and what makes your face truly belong to you. All the little things that add up and build character. Like for example, a few things that I think are really unique about my face are my lips. I've always had naturally plump lips. I can help it. I was born like this. I used to make them look so much bigger and I don't overline my lips like that anymore. But I used to put on really heavy makeup. Like overlining my lips like a clown mouth, literally. But anyways, it's one of my favorite features. I love how sharp my cheekbones are as well. It looks so snatched these days. I also love my round face. It's a nice contrast to the sharp cheeks, actually. I know it's not technically the ideal face shape, but it makes me unique. I used to not like my nose, but I do now. Anyways, I stopped doing such heavy makeup because it just didn't look cute on me. So, instead, I just focus on enhancing my eyes. I put on a bit of shadow contour here and there, natural highlights where the light naturally hits, and a good lipstick, maybe some gloss, blush, mascara. That's it. I used to do so much more, by the way. Heavy foundations, everything. the whole nine yards.

Your lashes can also make or break your face card. I used to wear such massive extensions that make my eyes look heavy, but these days what I do is just do a lash lift about once every 6 to 8 weeks and mascara. And I look so different. Here's another thing that's very underrated. The more confident you are with your bare face, like I'm always posting selfies on my stories of me without any makeup on, the better your makeup will also look because you stop wanting to hide behind your makeup and start using it only to enhance the energy that you already have and not draw a mask on every time. So now, every time I do my makeup, I'm going to think, what kind of vibe do I want today? Sometimes I just want something very light and natural, presentable. I would in fact call it Miami presentable because that's where I live now and everyone here works hard on their glow up. But then there are also other times when I wanted to look really lethal and powerful. And there's so much you can do with makeup to explore different sides of yourself as long as you're comfortable and not hiding behind your makeup. And I know that because I used to do that. So if you're wondering how I do my makeup now, I actually did just make a tutorial the other day and you can check it out.

Okay. So now let's get to the part where everybody is probably curious about, which is cosmetic procedures. I know you guys are all going to ask anyway. I'm going to tell you because I've always been transparent about what I've done and haven't done. I don't want anybody comparing themselves to an illusion. I wasn't born looking like this. I didn't even look like this last year. First of all, people used to accuse me of having lip fillers because I've never seen an Asian girl with naturally big lips before. But if I had fillers, I wouldn't be able to do this or I wouldn't have so many wrinkles on my lips when I pucker them like this. So, if you want to clock it, that's how you know. But personally, I am so iffy about fillers because of all the stuff that I heard about them. For example, too much can make you look uncanny and overly done. And filler migration is very real. It's harder than you think to remove completely. And if you lose too much volume, you might have to actually get real surgery to undo the damage. It's not even that I think that it's bad for everybody. I've seen people who look amazing with subtle work, but that's just too many variables for me to worry about, and it's just not for me. And neither is Botox. Honestly, having a neurotoxin injected into my face to paralyze my muscles kind of freaks me out. But maybe I'll save my judgment and wait a few more years. I might consider it eventually, but for now, I'm good with the injectables. I'll do laser and micro needling though occasionally and conservatively. I get some sunspots sometimes so I might be due for laser soon.

What I did do was surgery. Now there's a difference between plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery because plastic surgery can also include when let's say somebody has an accident and they have to repair something. That's not what I'm talking about here. I had a nose job last year and that's all I did on my face. But I had to get a revision recently because something quite devastating happened and I'm going to tell you the full story soon when I'm finally ready to talk about it. But let's just say that I got the drastic change that I wanted, but it came at a great cost. And I don't mean financial. The surgery was life-changing, and not in a good way. I learned so much in the process, and I'm glad I did that because it really humbled me. Surgery is a permanent fix, but it's not a magical fix. It can improve something that you've always wanted to change, and it did for me eventually. Or, you know, it can also create more problems that weren't there before. You have to be so mentally tough to prepare for that or else you're not ready for that reality. So, if you're considering any kind of cosmetic procedures, especially surgery, please research your doctors like your life depends on it because it does. It's that serious. You have to know exactly what you're signing up for and know what the red flags look like. At the end of the day, I don't regret anything because now things are looking okay and I love my nose now, but it took me so much to get here. And even if a doctor has a really great track record, there is always a bad case. You don't want that to be you. I'm also not going to be the kind of person to chase after more and more, especially after what happened to me. My approach is to be as minimal as possible about it. I think I don't really want to fix anything anymore. I can like for example, my eyelids are uneven, but I won't do surgery for it. It's literally fine. Like for me, makeup works just fine for that. And you can't drastically change your way into more self-worth. It's not automatic. It's something that you have to build first. Your mindset has to change first. Otherwise, no amount of surgery will ever feel like it's enough.

Now, let's talk about teeth and orthodontics because people seriously underestimate how much braces can change your face. I didn't even realize how much of a difference that alignment can make until I started my Clear Invisible aligners, which is what I'm using right now instead of braces. Before that, my bite wasn't so terrible, but it wasn't great either. My teeth were kind of crooked in the bottom row. People used to make fun of me in the comment section all the time about it, which is really mean, by the way. My midline was also off. My bite was a little bit uneven because of that. My jawline was also looking a bit different from certain angles and my facial balance was a bit off. But these are all things that can add up. So once I started the aligners and now I'm about five or six months in. I'm about halfway done as well. But my lower teeth are already almost perfectly aligned now. My lower third has started to look more symmetrical. And another weird thing is I think it's shifted my cheekbone structure because now my face is starting to look gaunt, but my smile also looks better. And it's nice because now that my lower teeth are looking straight when I smile, I actually look more put together compared to braces.

Clear aligners need a lot of discipline. You have to wear them for 20 to 22 hours a day. If you forget, then you're just going to be wasting your time and your money because this is not my first time getting invisible aligners. This is actually my second round. So, I already wasted thousands of dollars the first time because I fell off and I also didn't see a dentist for it. I went to some random place. Anyways, so now I'm trying again because I know that the results are so worth it. And every week or so, I change into a new tray and each tray moves your teeth just a little bit. I have 27 trays total and I go to a dentist to monitor the progress. They give me new trays every month. The very first tray was painful, but the rest of them weren't. It's not that painful anymore. It's just very tight. But there's something very satisfying about feeling that movement and the pressure of it conforming to the new tray. And another thing is nobody actually talks about how much straighter teeth can soften your entire face. I mean, right now I'm actually chewing on my aligners a lot, so I actually do have a stronger jawline because of it. But when your teeth becomes more aligned, that's when your jaw gets to relax more, your posture in your mouth improves. Your lips can close better. My smile lines also look different. My cheeks look better. I really believe that maxillofacial changes are possible through braces. I mean, my orthodontist didn't promise me anything, but I know my face changed. So, if you're thinking about getting braces or aligners and you feel like you need it, to be honest, it's not cheap. It's time-consuming and sometimes it's not glamorous because you really have to commit to it. You might be able to get dental insurance to pay for it as well if you're younger, but once you complete this process, it's going to be one of the best investments that you can do for your face, especially if you need them.

Another thing that really changed my face, or rather the perception of my face as you see it, is my camera. Specifically, working with the camera. I promise you, I look better in person than I do on video. And it's a skill issue. The more I filmed myself and took selfies, the more I learned about how my face actually moved, what side looks better, what angle suits me more. When I first started YouTube, I was using a terrible camera. Plus, I was so awkward as well. And I remember refilming that first video so many times. My face also looked way more tense and larger than I thought it actually did in real life. And my camera literally made me look worse than I actually did. But now, the more I filmed, I learned how to shoot my face better. I learned what kind of lighting to use because I'm sitting in front of massive lights right now. And a lot of social media influencers and YouTubers will also have a similar setup or even big soft lights, just bright lights in your face. And I also learned how to shoot my face better. And it really does make a huge difference. Okay, the combination of angles and light and even the lenses, right? If you're using a camera like, let's say it's your iPhone, and you compare different cameras, even the front and back cameras of your phone will make you look very different. I'm literally trying to stop using my front camera to take selfies these days because it's the worst focal length that you can use. It makes me look worse than I actually look. And I know I look good without that camera.

Anyways, let's also talk about face filters because this one is tricky. Filters can completely distort your sense of reality and give you dysmorphia if you're not careful. There was even a period of time where I couldn't post anything at all without smoothing out my face with a face filter on TikTok and Instagram. And I didn't realize how much of it was messing with my own self-esteem until I saw myself barefaced on camera again without filters. And I thought that my face was unpresentable. That plus the combination of the front camera just ruined it for me. And that's when I thought something is wrong here. I shouldn't be feeling that way. So, I consciously did a filter detox and stopped using them just to recalibrate what my real face look like to me. And that's when I became more confident on the camera. So, these days, like I still use filters sometimes. If I really slept horribly last night, I will probably use one. And it's whatever makes me feel better. And if I have something on my face, like a pimple, I'll just retouch it. I'm completely shameless about it. I do not care nor do I judge about these things. I love to photoshop my face. But we still need to protect our self-perception, you know. And to be honest, that again is an illusion. Otherwise, it's really healthy for everyone involved. So, I also try not to retouch too much. And another thing is if you rely on filters too much, you start believing that that's what your face should look like. So, every time you look into the mirror or when someone takes a candid photo of you, it doesn't match up to your idea, which can be dangerous, not just mentally, but emotionally because it disconnects you from your own identity. I think that filters are a direct reason why cosmetic procedures are so much more common these days. A lot of people seem to want to look like the filtered version of themselves. So yeah, a mix of learning to see myself through the camera and work better with it as well as using face filters in a way that was helpful and conservative when I needed it that changed everything. It gave me more awareness and presence over my looks and taught me that you just have to feel comfortable with yourself enough to show up as you are. That's also when you become more photogenic as well.

Last but not least, my diet did a lot for me. I truly relied on consistently making good, minimally processed, gut-healthy, anti-inflammatory food choices. Oo, that's a lot of words, but everyone seems to want some magical, complicated formula, but I promise you, it's not that deep. I actually do keep it pretty simple and not stressful. And I think that was the game changer because I can stick to it. I keep eating the same things that I like over and over again. And yeah, sometimes healthy food can cost more money, but you have to decide how much your health is worth to you. On top of the right proper education, like how I did research and development for my face, you'll also learn that you can buy a lot of healthy food options is also affordable. Even things like frozen fruit, canned tuna, eggs, sweet potatoes, greens, you don't have to be eating filet every other night. But not knowing how to improve is not an excuse. You can learn. And once you learn, you can make it work for you for the rest of your life cuz you can't unlearn anything.

So for Glow Out specifically, my biggest focus was reducing inflammation and regulating my gut health. Because when your body is inflamed and bloated, it literally shows up everywhere, especially on your face, like puffy eyes, dull skin, breakouts. Once I started to cut out unhealthy food, everything changed. My skin cleared up. I also started looking really snatched. My energy was super consistent. I also started being more intentional with my supplements like prebiotics and probiotics, omega-3, zinc, vitamin C, magnesium, and then occasionally I also take digestive enzymes. I don't take these every day anymore because I used to do that daily and it's been accumulating my body. So, I'm not obsessive about it. So, every now and then just to fill out the gaps between my supplements and my diet, that works pretty well. Your cells are literally rebuilding themselves using what you feed it. And you are what you eat. So, if you're eating junk, you're rebuilding with junk. Another thing is your body just wants balance and health. So, if you just give it what it needs, good nutrition, lots of water, good sleep, you're naturally going to look better. Period. There's no way you're going to look worse. Your natural beauty is going to come through without you even forcing it. And again, you can say that while genetics play a part, but a lifestyle can also completely transform how your genetics show up. And that means the power is still in your hands. I knew it wasn't mine and I did something about it and I got the results I wanted.

Yeah, I look drastically different these days. I got what I wanted, but not just through drastic surgery or makeup or skincare alone. It was truly through a ton of research and self-awareness, I changed my lifestyle. And it's really about taking accountability for how you're treating yourself and how you're showing up and also what you're willing to do. You can't control what you're born with, but you can definitely control your level of effort. And what's funny is once you get the results that you want, people will be like, "Oh my gosh, you look so different. What did you do?" And it's like, "I literally did so much over time of everything." So if you're in that phase of wanting to change how you look, that is fine. Do it for yourself and do it for your own level up. Not to escape who you are, but to become who you actually are. and do it because you deserve to feel comfortable with your body. That's why I went so hard on the mindset because you can do everything that you want and transform yourself. But if your mindset doesn't grow, then you'll still feel stuck with your old face. Your self-concept literally needs to catch up to the person that you want to become.

So, if you made it this far into the video, I love you for that. You have the awareness that most people will never even reach. So, keep building, keep leveling up and upgrading and become the version of yourself that already exists, and you're only just catching up to them. So, repeat after me in the comments if you want and say, "I'm doing this for myself." Thank you all so much and I'll see you in the next video. [music]
