[Music] Come on, this is Trina Olsen with Radical Launch International Ministries. I'm bringing to you the word today. This is amazing, like Psalms 124. Like, just let's get the word in us and let it become us. Like, that's what God wants us. He wants to spend time with us, and one way to spend time with him is in the word.
Whoa, man, Psalms 124. Oh man, "If the Lord had not been on our side," let Israel say, "if the Lord had not been on our side when men attacked us, when their anger flared against us, they would have swallowed us alive. The flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us, the raging waters would have swept us away. Praise be to the Lord, who has not let us be torn by their teeth. We have escaped like a bird out of the fowler's snare. The snare has been broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth."
Come on, like God is your protector. He's your provider, and when he goes with you, the enemy is not going to destroy you. He cannot come to steal, kill, and destroy. And if he does, he will shine greater and greater if we allow him. In the midst of opposition, are we going to let God be God? Are we going to control him and only let him work half, and then blame him because we didn't see the situation go the way we wanted it to go?
Like with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. I just love what these young men. They loved their God. They didn't even know Jesus yet, but they had a God that they loved and they honored and respected, and they would not bow their knee to any other God. What God are we bowing our knee to? They stood there and they told the King Nebuchadnezzar, they said, "We don't care, even if our God doesn't show up when you throw us in the fire. We don't care if he didn't show up. We will not bow our knee, but we believe that our God will show up." They believed that God would show up.
Do you believe that God is going to show up in your situation right now? Because I believe that if you truly, truly love God with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul, and all your strength, that you would let him be your strength in this moment, and you would let him help you get through this moment. He is in this moment. If you look for him, take five minutes of your day today, right now. Go to the bathroom if you have to. Go out into the woods if you have to. Go and rant and rave to God if you have to, but let God control your situation. Give him full power and authority in your life to reign and rule in you. Let that presence of God worship you. Let the righteousness of Jesus rise up inside of you, and watch God change your situation. It may not change the problem, but it will give you the ability to walk through it.
And when people see you walk through the situation, maybe like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, where they didn't even smell like smoke. They went through the fire, but they didn't even smell like smoke. Nebuchadnezzar said, "Who is that fourth man in the fire?" Oh, come on. Like it was Jesus standing there with them in a fire that burned up men that just was close to it. They weren't even burned when they were thrown in. Like the world is a consuming fire that tries to consume us, but it can't. But God is that all-consuming fire that will not allow you to be destroyed if you give him all of yourself.
Lay yourself down. We don't know where we're going tomorrow. We don't even know where we're going today. We don't know what is in store for us in the next moment of your life. But we do know that if God lives in you, the hope of all glory lives in you. And when he lives in you, Jesus says that we become one with him, as he's one with the Father. And you can sit in heavenly places, not for your own righteous anger, not for your own judgment, not for your own unforgiveness, but you get to set in heavenly places and see things from God's perspective, and allow God to use you in a mighty way to change your situation, to walk through that situation unharmed, not even smell like smoke. And people are gonna see, "Hey, why are you different?" We should look different because we are sons and daughters of the Most High. Christ lives in us. He died for our sins. He took your sins to the cross. He took your health issues to the cross. He took your life to the cross.
So I just want to encourage you today that I don't care what situation you're in today. It is not too big for God. God, you can change your life in an instant, in a heartbeat. I've been there. I know his love, and I know he will come after you if you call out his name. He says, "Those who call upon his name will be saved. Those who endure to the end will be saved." It is not a once and done. It's a continual. You got to continue to walk with him. You got to continue to love him. You got to continue to let him love the hell out of you so that you can love the hell out of others. Yeah, he loves you that much, and he wants to be all about you, and he wants to shine through you.
And I am so excited because like this word is this amazing. "Praise be to the Lord, who has not let us be torn by their teeth." Yeah, come on. "We have escaped like a bird out of the fowler's snare. The snare has been broken." It's broken. Broken today. Today it's broken, and we have escaped. You have escaped today from the enemy's hand. You have escaped from that situation that's trying to pull you under. You have escaped. You have the power and authority to allow God to pull you up higher so you can see the situation from a heavenly perspective. Not going to heaven today. God's not snatching you out of your pit. No, he's going to take you through the fire. He's going to take you through your problem, and he's going to show you how you can use that to thump the hell out of the enemy. "Our help is in the name of the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth." Come on. Yes.
Will we let God be God in our life? Because he wants to use you in such a mighty and powerful way. He loves you so much. Like, oh man, we become one with Christ as he's one with the Father. Wow, like that's amazing. That is supernatural. Jesus died for our sins. He's our savior, but you also have a purpose in your life. In John 17:4, Jesus says, "Father, I give you all the glory because I have finished what I was called to complete." And also in John 17, it says that Jesus gives glory through us. So let's find our purpose. Let's call upon the Lord. Let him guide you. Let him be 100 in your life, every moment of every part of your day, and allow him to love you in such a degree that removes every negative thing in your life, that removes anything that is not of love, so that you can be loved to every person that is in front of you, that you can be loving that situation that most people can't even endure. But God will show you that he's not coming here to snatch you out of your problem. Jesus says that in John 17. He says, "Father, be with them in it to get them through it." And Jesus gets glory as we walk it out because he lives in us. And as we finish what we're called to, God Almighty gets glory.
Yeah, I am so, so convinced that we all have a purpose in life that is greater than you can ever dare dream or imagine. And if we would just spend time with the Father and ask him, "What does that look like?" It's not about creating a family and going to your job and creating a career and being rich and having a retirement plan. Um, no, it's not. It's about this, this living word living inside of you. And you get to have a career. You get to have a family. You get to have a life to go proclaim the gospel. That's what you get to do. You get to have joy, joy unspeakable, so that you can love people the way God loves you. And you get to take that into your job, into the grocery store, into your life, everywhere you go. Do the work of an evangelist. Everywhere you go, prophesy. Everywhere you go, lift people up out of the pit by words from God. Allow him to use you in such a mighty, powerful way. You'll see God change your life as you allow him to flow through you and and pick you up and watch you go and do Grady exploits for God because God loves you so much that he sent his only begotten son to die for you. But it's not for you just to sit on a couch and and wallow when you're so pity and have no hope. Hope has a name, and his name is Jesus, and he lives in you if you accepted him. And so I believe that when you call upon him today in the situation you're in, he will show up mightily and powerfully because you were created for such a time as this. Yes, you, you, you were created for such a time as this because you are a deliverer of the things that the enemy has tried to steal, kill, and destroy in your life. You can deliver other people out of those issues when you allow Christ to rise up in you, you allow the Holy Spirit to guide and direct you, and you're looking to see where the Father is. Because Jesus was our example, and when we go back to scripture, we go back to see how Jesus walked it out, he'll show us how to walk out our life. So God bless you. Thank you so much.
