Discipline is the ticket to freedom and to a beautiful life. Anything that is notable in the world. Any creation, any invention, any music, any art, anything has required discipline in order to come into creation. The person who created it had to exercise and practice and live by a disciplined way of being in order for that thing to exist.
We're going to shift our perspectives today on discipline because the reason you haven't been disciplined is because you have not registered at your core what you've been sacrificing. You don't know. You don't have the awareness. You don't have a discipline problem. By the way, you just have an awareness problem and you don't have awareness as to what you've been sacrificing by not having discipline. So, I'm going to show you why you don't want to be disciplined, where your awareness is at, and why it's like that. Like, why do you choose a lack of discipline? Why is that better for you? I'm going to show you another way of looking at it that's going to make you actually want to be disciplined. And we'll get into kind of the main things that might be blocking you from choosing discipline actively.
Okay. So, here I have a triangle that's upside down. I want to just talk about consciousness for a second. And hello. If you're down here in shame, guilt, fear, despair. You will be living a life that is self soothing. And I I like using this because what we see here is perception. When I say perception, I'm talking about the fact that we live, can you see this? Yeah. We live in a matrix reality with infinite number of timelines and possibilities for what you can experience. This is a universe of perception. Your state of consciousness, your state of being, which is created by your beliefs, your identity, your dominant emotions, what you're placing your attention on, that creates what you can perceive.
So, if you've got two people who are walking outside, one person is very depressed, they're very afraid, they just had their heart broken, their dog just passed away, they can't see all the beauty and all the good in the environment around them. They just can't see it because their consciousness is down here. And a person another person for example who um you know just fell in love and just is is I don't know got a promotion someone who's having a really really amazing human experience and who is operating up here in um joy and all of that good stuff. They will frolic down the same path as the other person. So, let's say this is Mike and this is Joe. Joe is going to go for a walk. He's going to see the flowers. He's going to see the trees. He's going to see the ducks. And he's going to see all so much more. Basically, not even just good, but just more. Whereas Joe, sorry, Mike, he's funneled to not see the good. He's tuned vibrationally in a way that is negative and in a way that is constricted. So he can only see negative. He can't really see the good. It doesn't resonate with him. Whereas Joe, he can see it all and he can especially see all the good because it resonates with him. Okay? So there's infinite possibilities for what you can experience. And when I say perception, what you perceive in terms of what's possible for you in your life specifically starts to shift the more you work on yourself and your beliefs and your state of being. So this is really important to know when it comes to discipline. You're probably thinking, "What the hell are you talking about, girl?" I'm getting there. Don't worry.
If you're down here in shame, guilt, fear, and despair, and you're holding on to a lot of past experiences, you're holding on to a lot of shame, you haven't forgiven yourself. You haven't forgiven the past. You haven't forgiven people in your life. You're holding all of that stuff in your energy, in your energy centers, in your root, in your sacral, in your all your energy centers. You are going to be living a life to try to just soothe that pain. When you're down here in the emotions born of ego, in the lower consciousness emotions, you're going to be living a life basically just to try and get by and try to soothe your ego and try to just feel better. When you're down here below the threshold of higher and lower. So basically here you're fully in your ego self and you've got a limited I don't know why I'm even writing cuz you can't even read that but you've got a very limited view of what's possible. So let's say like all of these things are possible. You can only see this because of your state. Okay. So trying to exert discipline when you're in a lower vibrational state, when you're in a state of consciousness that is laced with fear and shame and guilt and despair, you're not going to want to visualize a better life. You are not going to be acting out of inspiration, imagination, hope, possibility, big picture thinking, self-love, you know, trying to basically create a grand vision for your life. It's not going to be your priority. It's not going to be something that is even in your uh perspective or it's not going to be in your in your mind to do that. So, when you're down here and this is how you're feeling, discipline is an act of self-hate. It's not something that you're willingly, gladly choosing and genuinely just wanting to live by in your life. You're using it as a form of punishment. You're using it because your ego craves it for some reason. Which, okay, if it serves you and if it's helping you to actually move out of here in some instances, that's fine. But really, what's going to help you rather than trying to abuse yourself into being disciplined than ending up feeling like a victim because certain things happen because that is your state when you're down here. You're either feeling like you're abusing yourself or you're feeling like a victim. Instead of trying like trying to force yourself to be disciplined in that kind of cycle, you're better off, believe it or not, going to the source and going to the root key traumas and issues that are causing you to store shame and guilt and fear in your body. And I cannot tell you the more awareness I gain, the higher my consciousness and my awareness and my perspective raises, the more I crave discipline because I can feel what I'm going to get from being disciplined. And I can feel that it's so exciting that it's worth it. Because when your perception expands and you move out of this kind of victim complex, you move out of the narrow limited perspective that these emotions cause you to have, you can start tapping into your creative feminine energy once the blindfold of fear comes off and stops blinding you. And you can start to really get excited about a vision for your life, which is going to make you want to be disciplined like the end.
So people have it backwards. They're trying all these hacks. They're trying all these like motivational watching videos. Go to the source. You're wasting your time. Trust me, I spent years I spent years in cycles and cycles of trying to force myself to be disciplined, then beating myself up cuz I wasn't disciplined, not realizing that the reason I wasn't disciplined is because really at the core of it, I didn't really feel like it was worth it for me. And I have an example of this. Literally a couple of weeks ago, I just got random, like a really random, very short moment of anxiety and I saw a woman smoking a cigarette. And I haven't smoked cigarettes in a really, really long time. But in that moment, I thought, I need a cigarette, right? Me, I never smoke now, but I was like, I need a cigarette because it would it would ease this like tightness that's just all of a sudden come on my chest. And in that moment, it made perfect sense to me to smoke a cigarette. Nothing else. And then then I had another thought come in that said this is why people engage in the habits they engage in. It is always serving you. It's giving you some release. Like anything to me in that moment would have been better than continuing to feel that anxiety. And it reminded me of when I was smoking more cigarettes, when I was vaping, when I was smoking weed, when I was, you know, in codependent relationships, all these other habits and attachments that I used to have, they were to soothe internal pains and subconscious pains, unconscious pains that I had because anything to me was better than actually feeling that discomfort within myself. And that momentary release that I was getting through not having the discipline to break those habits that was in that moment according to my narrow perception worth it to me cuz I couldn't see a bigger picture. Okay. So that's what I mean when I say okay you can be forced discipline down your throat trying to punish yourself or you can ask yourself well why the hell am I anxious? Okay. So me in that moment I could have said I need a cigarette now and tried to soothe and then gone into like a coping cycle. But instead I just said well what am I anxious about? Where is this feeling of anxiety coming from? I'm not going to say I'm anxious. I'm going to say this feeling of anxiety has suddenly come over me. What what just happened? What caused that within me? And I figured out I really did figure out where it was coming from and why it was even happening. And then I was able to kind of put it to one side and say, you know what, I don't really resonate with anxiety anymore. But the more inner work I've done, the more disciplined I've become because I want to be because I love myself and I love the vision that I have for my life. And I love it so much that giving in to destructive habits that might derail that doesn't even cross my mind.
So when I really started to release my limiting beliefs that were stopping me from seeing my potential and stopping me from even considering going for my dreams in this life and I started actually considering my dreams when I started releasing my fear of being seen, my fear of abandonment, my fear of judgment and I forgave all the past stuff and I was doing shadow work, I was doing journaling, I was meditating consistently. I went to therapy for like two years. I was doing so much inner work. A time came where suddenly I was like, "Oh my god, a vision, a vision emerged. A like a a a desire to create a grander life emerged and it became so exciting and so strong that suddenly I realized I didn't want to keep eating junk food. I didn't want to keep smoking weed. I just didn't want to.
So, discipline is freedom when you actually want to choose it. And you only want to choose it when you've healed the stuff that's causing you to need comfort in not being disciplined. Okay? So, realize how this lack of discipline is serving you. What part of you is it serving? Why do you need to soothe yourself? Why are you not able to picture an exciting vision for your life? What limiting beliefs do you have that are blocking you from thinking that you can even have something more in your life? Because why would you bother like going to the gym and I don't know like whatever your discipline looks like sitting down and working on a project. If you don't actually believe in the project, why would you even bother being disciplined? You're not aware of what you're sacrificing when you don't sit down to do the work. You don't have that clear image and a feeling for that dimension, that timeline. You don't have that in your mind where it's like you running your dream business, feeling that freedom, expressing your potential. You're not really seeing that. You're not really perceiving that. So why would you be motivated to have discipline to sit down? You're not going to feel the pain of the sacrifice when you're not aware of what you're sacrificing by not being disciplined. So become hyper aware of what you want. And if you can't, please know that it's simply because you are probably holding on to a lot of this lower dimensional stuff. That's keeping you probably in survival mode, lower dimensional, lower vibrational stuff. If you're in survival mode, if you're holding on to beliefs and traumas that make you feel unsafe in your body, in the moment, in the world, go to those first. Stop trying to force a vision for your life. It should be something that's natural. You've got masculine and feminine energy in your being. Your feminine energy naturally will give you intuition and creativity and imagination and ideas and play and life force. And if that energy is not alive within you, it's because you don't feel safe. You need to feel safe for that energy to spring to life and to want to play in this world. So do look up meditations on YouTube for feeling more safe. Look up root chakra meditations for safety. Meditate consistently. Come into your body. Call your energy and power back to you. Reintegrate into your body. Let yourself feel all these unprocessed emotions that you haven't let yourself feel. Journal on your limiting beliefs. Journal on what would I go for if this world was a safe place? If I was good enough. Why do I think I'm not good enough? Where has that come from? I have so many videos, guys. I have videos on subconscious rewiring. That's for your beliefs. And then I have videos on shadow work. That's for stored traumas and emotions. Go watch both of those and do the stuff that I tell you to do in those videos. You have all the practices in the world that you need. But while you don't have a vision that's strong, that's driving you, let your vision be coming out of these feelings of fear and of not knowing who you are, what you want. Like let your vision be having just excitement for life. Let that be the thing that motivates you for now because that's what you're going to get when you do this inner work. And your discipline, what you should be craving to be disciplined at when you're down here is not like all this high-level stuff just for external validation, just for other people to tell you you're good enough because that is not going to fill the void. Okay? You're still going to feel fear. You're still going to feel despair and you're not going to stay on track because you're not going to have a strong enough vision and a strong enough why.
Let me tell you right now, you could be handed the dream car, the whatever whatever handbag, whatever it is that you think is going to make you look good. It's not going to fix the internal fragmentation that you feel inside you. That is not a meaningful enough vision. And it's also not going to make you disciplined. Like the thing that's going to make you disciplined, it's not going to be a conscious thing that you have to do. It's going to be an energetic feeling where you get a resonance with a vision for your life that makes you so excited that you automatically apply discipline to your life because you need to get on that track because it is so worth it to you. Okay? And anything else outside that is not going to make you stay disciplined. It's not going to shift you into the energy of just wanting to be disciplined. So if you don't have that vision, start with just okay, my vision for now is allowing myself to release my fears, release my shames, feel good enough, feel secure, and feel safe. Because when you feel safe, you're going to start to get imagination. You're going to start to get a vision. So that should be the thing driving you for now and not anything else because anything else above that is just going to be self soothing. It's just going to be you trying to fill a void.
So people have it backwards. The crazy thing is when you actually start healing your inner child, you start healing the shadow parts of you, your shame, your guilt, you start releasing and rewiring those negative beliefs, making you think that you can't create something or you can't do something meaningful or you're not good enough, smart enough, whatever enough. When you start healing that stuff and you naturally your own value, you can start to feel your own value. You start to feel your own intuition. The stuff that you've been distracting yourself with, that you've been trying to be disciplined for just to get a little bit of external validation reflected back to you, completely loses its relevance and loses its significance to you. It literally is not going to matter to you anymore. So, everybody seems to have it backwards. Like, there's so many videos about how to be confident and how to be magnetic and how to be radiant, but it's an inside job. Like you can't keep applying like mindset tricks and hacks and tools just to get the external world to see you a certain way. You have to heal the stuff that's stopping you from seeing yourself that way. And then you're not going to give a [ __ ] what the external world thinks. Maybe a little bit cuz we're tribal creatures. But really, when you embrace yourself fully, like when you really fall in love with yourself, you forgive yourself, you forgive your past, you really embrace your authentic self, and you start building a life around your authenticity and the value that you feel authentically about yourself at your core. You're not going to need to be disciplined. You're going to be just living in alignment with who you really are. So, this goes back to misalignment, but like trying to force yourself to be disciplined just to look good to other people is [ __ ] backwards. It is so backwards. Heal the stuff that's making you need the validation from other people. Heal the stuff that's stopping you from seeing your own value. And naturally when you do that and you start to build that internal self-esteem and self-worth and which is done if you didn't catch that it's done by releasing the stuff that's making you feel shame and guilt and fear that happened in the past by rewriting that stuff. I'll leave the link for the videos that I have down below on all of that shadow work and belief rewiring. When you do that, you are just going to start falling in love with yourself and you're going to naturally want to create a vision for yourself and your life on your terms. I cannot tell you guys like the stuff that I used to care about, the stuff that like the type of validation I used to crave, the things I used to chase that I really thought were like going to mean something and were going to make me like that [ __ ] and that like going to fulfill me, they never fulfilled me. And the more and more I healed, the more I realized how [ __ ] lost I was in chasing that stuff, how it was never ever going to fulfill me, and how much I do not care about it at all. Like the people, the relationships I used to chase now, oh my god, like the I couldn't care less. The things I used to care about, couldn't care less. Like even even like money, like all of that stuff, none of it, the status, the money, it's just losing its significance more and more and more. The more significant I just find myself and my own expression and my own life and my own being. So those two things go hand in hand.
Why are you trying to be disciplined? What are you trying to be disciplined for? Because it's if if it's to impress other people, you've got it backwards. You need to figure out why the hell are you trying to impress other people? Heal that stuff and you're naturally going to be disciplined. You're going to want to be disciplined because you're going to all of a sudden have a greater vision for your life that excites you because you no longer have fear, shame, and guilt clouding your awareness and clouding your ability to perceive a vision for yourself.
The other thing, okay, once you get to that point, the other thing that you might be missing that might be causing you to not have discipline is clarity. I think it was Dan Co, the YouTuber that posted a little post that said, "Discipline comes from clarity." Something something. But that stayed with me. Discipline comes from clarity. Because that is the truth. So clarity on why you're being disciplined, clarity on like a vision for your life, and then also clarity on what you're actually doing. Like, so let me let me get into this. This is going to turn into a [ __ ] coaching call. It's important that you do use some form of discipline. So maybe it's not saying, "Okay, I'm quitting all social media and all sugar and I'm working 12 hours a day on my business and I'm going to the gym for 3 hours a day." Like maybe it's not jumping in that head first. If you're really in survival mode and in fear and in guilt and all of that stuff that's not going to stick. You've probably done it before. You know what I'm talking about. It's not going to stick. So set small discipline related goals for something that you can genuinely get excited about and that you can genuinely believe in and that when you don't show up for the things that you're committed to in your discipline, you know what you're sacrificing. Okay? So this is what I mean when I say discipline comes from clarity. You've got to focus on what you're gaining from just being disciplined even at a lower level. So, let's say you're you're kind of working your way up and you don't have that grand vision for your life that's exciting you that would motivate you to be putting in naturally like a 12-hour workday on your project or whatever, you still have to exercise the act of discipline because when you don't, your will to live shrinks. So this goes back to masculine and feminine energy. Masculine energy is your will and then feminine energy is your intuition and your creativity and your imagination and all of that. So, first of all, when you don't exercise any discipline, when you don't show up for your commitments, even the small ones that you make, or when you don't even make any commitments, when you're engaged in far too much pleasure and leisure and comfort zoning, your will to live goes down. When you don't exercise actions in this physical world, which is your masculine action-taking energy to support you and to nurture you, that's a wound in your masculine energy. That makes your feminine energy feel unsafe. Your feminine energy is going to feminine energy is going to switch off. You're not going to feel that life force, that vision, that creativity, that desire, that like get up and go for life. Right?
So immediately, if you don't know where to start, I'm going to tell you right now where to start. Just let go of three things that are not yours to control. I literally say this all the time because it it's such a quick fix. It's such an easy thing to do. Let go of three things that you can't control. Cuz if you're in wounded masculine energy, you're trying to control things that you can't control. Take that energy and put it towards three things that you can control that you've been avoiding. Do the things you've been avoiding and realize that the payoff for doing those things is your feminine energy, your will to live is going to increase first of all, which amazing. You're going to gain energy and you're also going to start gaining some creativity and you're going to start being able to have a little bit of vision, have some imagination. You're going to be able to get that feminine energy switching back on. Okay? Maybe not straight away. Maybe if you're working through a lot of survival mode, a lot of traumas and things that are making you feel unsafe subconsciously, it might not be that quick of a fix, but it definitely is worth a try. And remember that. I need you to know that if you're getting into a phase in your life where you feel like in such a funk, usually a good way out of a funk, which I always do, is I say, "Well, what have I been avoiding? If I do the thing I've been avoiding, I have automatically immediately pulled myself out of the funk. All of a sudden, I'm getting [ __ ] 10 business ideas, five visions for my life, three phone calls to make. You see my point? So that's what you can do right now. That is what you can control right now. You can start balancing your energies right now, wherever you are. And it doesn't have to be big things. It's little steps, step by step by step by step. You can heal this. You can turn this around. You can change your energy. You can change your life. If I can do it, you can do it.
Okay. So, the next thing I need you to know is when you're trying to when when you get your bigger vision, this is a mistake that I see so many people make. Once you have the vision, you need to just work your way back from that. Because people fall into the gap of having the vision, getting overwhelmed cuz they're so far away from the vision, not knowing the how of how to get to the vision, and then trying to like hyper focus, hyperfixate on the vision when they can't really control how that's going to work out and they don't know what to do in the meantime. Okay, so this is another video really, but when you're trying to force things that are not within your control, when you're infusing worry and overthinking into your vision, you're blocking the divine paths for that vision to unfold for you. And the only reason you're holding on too tightly to it is because you don't know what else to focus on. And it's very difficult to be disciplined in moving towards your vision when you don't know what to do. When you don't have clarity on what you should be disciplined in.
This is the exercise that I share with anyone who will listen. My clients, my community, everybody gets this exercise. I've probably shared on YouTube three times, but we're going to do it again. The vehicle to your dream life, your dream desired timeline is who you are embodying. You are your reality. There is no separation except for it's an illusion of separation that we are perceiving because of this 3D existence. But actually your reality is you pushed out. Your reality is a mirror. You are your reality. You are getting constantly what you embody. Okay? There's a time lag, but you get what you embody pretty much. So, your discipline must always go towards the embodiment of the version of you who's at the vision. That's what you focus on. And you're like, "Okay." And people hear that and they're like, "Okay, show up as that version of me." No, don't just say that. Discipline comes from clarity. So make it clear. You're making it really hard for yourself when you don't make it clear cuz you really don't know what that even means. You have an idea. Maybe you don't know though. So let's make it clear. You want to get a stick figure. My favorite thing in the world. And you Wow. Lollipop head sleigh. You want to write down me with X vision. X vision. Me with the vision. You might not want to do the end vision. Maybe you want to do like the first milestone. Maybe you want to do just one particular outcome. But get the vision that excites you. Get something that you can resonate that excites you in your mind right now and write a stick figure the version of you who's there. Write down their habits, moods, characteristics, their um standards, perspectives, and anything else. Anything else that comes up when you think about that version of you and do it on a piece of paper with a pen, do it and picture it. Like really really try to feel into the energy of the person the version of you who can have be and do the vision that you have with ease like it's their natural state of being. Then you want to let go completely of the outcome because it's going to drive you crazy and you cannot keep forcing and controlling because you're getting in the way of it unfolding. What you can control is what you do today and how you embody yourself and your energy today. You can control showing up as this version of you right now today. And that is the vehicle to your desired reality. So once you've got this, you let go completely of the outcome. And this is going to keep you motivated. This is going to keep you disciplined. It's going to be so easy to be disciplined because you know what you're focusing on and you know what you're focusing on is getting you to your dream, your vision, your actual desire that you really want. So you know that when you don't focus on this stuff, when you don't embody it, you know the price that you're paying for that. It is your vision. It is the desired timeline.
And if you're still sabotaging at this point, even after getting the clarity, getting the vision, getting the clarity, if you're still sabotaging, it is because you've got beliefs, you've got resistance internally to your desired timeline. So, you know, you want the timeline, you know, you have this desire, you're trying to do the embodiment, and you're trying to have the discipline. There are parts of you that have a false perception about your desired timeline, your desired reality. So let's say for example you want more money. If you've got negative associations with wealthy people and your goal is to be wealthy, your parts of you are going to resist that desire and you're going to sabotage this whole thing and you're not going to be disciplined. So this is another thing like it's not as black and white as say I'm just going to be disciplined. I'm just going to be not. There's always a reason. It's always serving a part of you. So when you get clear about what you want, ask yourself, how are you genuinely perceiving that dimension? Are you scared of it? Is there stuff preconceptions that you've got in your mind? A a big one that I'm going to share with you right now is anytime I start progressing to a new level, I get a bit of resistance and I always think it's going to be more work, it's going to be more difficult, it's going to be stressful, it's going to be struggle because more success, more whatever in my mind. I had an autopilot way of associating that with more stress. Now, every single time I set a new goal, I sit myself down and I say, "It's going to get easier and easier and easier." I screen. If I have resistance, I screen myself. What beliefs do I have that might make me resist this? What associations do I have? Honestly, when I think about my desired reality, what fears do I have? What is it triggering within me that might make me resist it? And once you overcome those and you become comfortable with the idea that this new reality is a really actually genuinely good place for you to go and there's no weirdness, there's no fear, there's no like thinking that you're going to be morally skewed or you're going to be one of those bad people or it's going to change you or result in something bad happening. Then you want to realize that your brain also has a fear of the unknown. So you want to do everything you can to assure yourself that you're going to be safe in that desired reality. I don't think we realize how much we resist our desires and it comes out as lack of discipline and self-sabotage. Get to the root as to why parts you don't want to go there. Realize and I I know this guys cuz I've been through this. Every single time I set a new standard and I want to go to a new dimension, the fear of the unknown always slows me down. And I have to sit myself down and say, just because it's unknown, doesn't mean it's not going to be [ __ ] amazing. It doesn't mean it's unsafe, it's no less safe than where you are right now. And what if it gets to be easier? What if it gets to be so much better? What if it's more supportive, more flow, more free time, more alignment? And normally that is the case. And get examples of people that are in the level or in the similar level that you're going to who completely contradict your false perceptions of that level, your false associations with that being that successful, being that exposed online, being whatever it is. Because we don't realize how many false beliefs we have that are causing us to resist which makes us not have discipline.
Again, when you get fully on board with your vision, you are going to want to be disciplined. If you don't want to be disciplined, there is always a reason for that. It's because you don't have the clarity. You're not seeing clearly. Fear is clouding your perception of what you're sacrificing. You have lost your awareness as to the big picture as to what you're going to gain by remaining disciplined. So uproot the fear that's clouding your vision so that you can see clearly what you do have to gain. How magnificent your life is going to be, how it's not going to be bad or scary or negative or stressful, how it's going to be free and beautiful and it's going to be genuinely created by you from your soul. Once you register that that is possible for you, available to you, and that you being disciplined is going to get you there, you are never going to lack discipline again. You're going to genuinely crave it. It's never ever going to be an issue for you. You will literally want to be disciplined because you know that it's worth it.
